20 Best Cordless Stick Vacuum Under $100 (Jan 2023 Update)

We’ve had this vacuum for over a year and I love it. -It’s insanely convenient. Quiet (can vacuum during nap time!), works great on our hardwoods and carpet (no need to switch to different modes), thoughtful wall mount with storage for all attachments. I’ve looked at a lot of other vacuums (including other tineco options) and this one seems like the best bang for your buck. Now, this vacuum has its quirks, and after more than a year of daily use, I’ve come to speak its language. But what you might want to know before buying- It requires maintenance. It’s not complicated, but I have to regularly check for blockages, as well as clean and replace filters about once a week. I failed to read the manual and did not do any of that the first couple months I owned it, and got frustrated with performance/battery life. But it was a very simple fix. And now I find I can still get at least 25 minutes of run time out of a fully charged battery- no different than when I first got it a year ago. -The suction does not overly impress my husband and is probably not top of the line. But we have two toddlers and a dog, and it gets the job done. We inherited a bulky (but powerful) bissel and I honestly never find myself needing to use it. We have a small home with birds and a dog. Most floors are laminate with two carpeted areas and one area rug. The price point and reviews online were positive. This stick vac does the job well and is easy to put together, easy to empty and takes very little space. The battery lasts long enough for daily cleaning. We’ve only had the vac for a couple of weeks but are very pleased with it. A video on YouTube helped answer any questions. So far nothing negative to share.Og

Recently purchased the A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum for the upstairs of the house. We have two cats that shed hair here and there so we decided an extra stick vacuum on the upper floor would be so convenient. We already own a Tineco A10 Dash vacuum and use it for our kitchen and main floor hallways and very pleased with it so it was not difficult to decide upon getting another Tineco product. Our new A10 Hero works great on our hardwood floors and comes with numerous useful attachments. My favourite is the mini power brush attachment as it really comes in handy to convert to a handheld vacuum to clean the chair pads and the tops of the beds after our cats finish their naps. This vacuum is lightweight, has a fixed on trigger option and being cordless it really is perfect for us seniors. So glad we bought another one.EmL

I purchased this to sweep the laminate floors in my apartment. It was fine the first few months, but the quality dropped off sharply before I had owned it for a year. The roller would randomly lose power, even after I cleaned it and the roller. When I needed to buy replacement parts I was shocked at how expensive they were compared to other vacuums I have owned in the past. The lack of accessories was also disheartening. It works well as a dust-buster style handheld but is terrible as a floor sweeper. I only use it on my stairs now. I will use it until it finally dies, but do not feel confident purchasing another Dirt Devil product.Steven

My condo overlooks the Gulf in southwest Florida. I thought I'd be smart and put in no-see-'em screens on my lanai. Well the screens work great for the bugs = none. But the finer pitch of the screen also acts as a silt collector for the air flow. Then when it rains and blows, my sand colored lanai tiles and GROUT have dark silt remaining when dry. Previous method was to get the electric sweeper, attach long wand and brush head (not a brush roll) and suck up the silt. It didn't do well on the grout lines. Alternative was to use the steamer more frequently = pain. I wanted to simplify the cleaning. I looked at a lot of stick vacs but the DD22510 was the only one that had a powered brush roll, and high suction, ANNNNNDDDD let me take the unit as a hand held vac down 5 floors to my car thus avoiding dragging my huge sweeper along. Got the unit yesterday and tried it out on the silt I left accumulate for testing. Tried it today 7/15/19 and it works just outstandingly well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the support bracket is ill designed. When I put my powered carpet nozzle on and then attached the support bracket, and then moved the nozzle against the baseboard….the sticky tape surface on the back of the bracket is NOT parallel to the wall. I measured the angle and it's about 15 degrees off. Plus the well where the sweeper handle sets on the bracket is too shallow and the sweeper pops out too easily. Engineering needs to rethink. Otherwise I would readily recommend purchasing.Bally

I loved this vacuum. I used it all the time. It was perfect for my apartment. I used it to vacuum the vinyl flooring before mopping the floor. The problem is that the swivel on the sweeper head broke and there is no replacement parts. I was able to fix it using gorilla glue but that only lasted about 3 months. Now I have a dirt devil that is basically a handheld sweeper (aka dust buster type).Tonya H.

I bought this vacuum in 2018 when my 1st little one arrived. It was great at picking up the crumbs. We used this daily for 2-5 minute intervals around the dinner table. After about 1.5 years the batter on it died. It's not replaceable either which means the unit is junk. I contacted B&D to do a warranty claim and they sent me a "new" replacement. Well guess what's happened again after about 1.5 years of the same use… Battery is dead AGAIN! I tried contacting B&D again and was asked multiple questions about the unit lastly being the inscribed manufactured date on the bottom of the unit. It was from 2018, meaning 1.5 years ago when the 1st vacuum died, they gave me an old, and probably refurbished unit. This date meant that I could no longer receive any type of warranty work, even though when I received the vacuum it sure wasn't in 2018… I will not be purchasing a replacement at this point and will go out of my way to no recommend this product to other.JoeBazooka

I give it 5 out of 5 over all for suction power and the ability to clean out the whole canister in the garbage with just the push of a button. You can actually clean the whole canister and filter with with soap and water let it air dry. The filter is reusable and cleans out very well. It’s unbelievable what things this vacuum actually picks up. I love LED head light lamps on the front of the vacuum you can really see the dirt and hair when the lights are on and off! The real bonus about this vacuum is the cordless feature no cords to worry about. Turn it on and go! The only negative thing that really disappoints me is the battery power only last 5 to 10 mins if your lucky this is super frustrating. I actually end up buying a new Black Decker battery for $77 off of Amazon.ca. This battery last anywhere from 20 to 30 mins longer the vacuum runs like a dream now. I got this model of Bed, Bath and Beyond website. I highly recommend not paying full price for it because what ever money left over you will need a new 20V Max Black Decker Lithium 3.0AH battery they sell on Amazon.ca. #visualeyecandy.r

I loved this vacuum. It was my birthday present and my husband and I drove down to the States to get one that was on sales there. It was easy for me to carry around and the hose helped me get into smaller place. So much better than your typical dust buster. Within a few years the battery became very weak and I only have about 20 seconds of power now. I called around and there is no battery replacement for it. There seems to be nothing else like it on the market. I'm so sad!! 🙁Spider

I don't even have carpet – I use it for dust mostly. I was right outside of the Target 3 month window, so I'm out of luck. I tried messaging customer service, but no dice. Tried messaging Dirt Devil but no luck there either. If you are going to get this vacuum, get the 2 year protection plan. Apparently it's common for this model to start shutting off shortly after you turn it on, fully charged with a clean filter and all. Too bad because it was pretty convenient for my little apartment!LC

Ever since Dirt Devil came out with the edge-to-edge feature to clean near baseboard I have been hooked on their brand. I saw this cordless one in Target for other items and I had to have it and I have not been disappointed. I was not disappointed either since it loses no power by being cordless and has the same ease of emptying the dirt cup in just a few minutes and it came with a rinseable filter (which saves you from having to buy them so often). The dirt spins in the collection cup and has a beater bar as well plus you can remove the handle in seconds to use it as a hand vac. What I really love is that the charger itself is permanently attached to the device so you don't have to go hunting for it when it is time to recharge the battery. All you have to do is pull it out of the handle and plug it in and the cord is more than long enough. Just so you know we can vacuum all our carpented area on one charge and then some. We use it in the kitchen for picking up bits of this and that on our nice white ceramic tile as well which shows everything that lands on it! The price was fantastic and was under $100. Do yourself a favor and try one of these out, you will be glad you did!Susievere

Unfortunately, I somehow threw away the dirt cup when cleaning the brush bristles! I wasn't happy that you sell some parts, but not this one, making it necessary to buy an entire new vacuum instead of just a part! There are things that I like and dislike about this particular vacuum. I prefer the ones with a rubber brush roll instead of bristles for 2 reasons. 1) the rubber one is removeable. It pops right out so you only have a brush roll in your hand to clean instead of an upside-down wiggly vacuum you're trying to balance over the trash can while cleaning out the hair. 2) It's so easy to cut the hair off the rubber brush roll as opposed to cutting and pulling hair out of bristles. I think I shed as much hair as my dog, so my long hair is yucky to have to remove from the bristles. Unfortunately, you don't make the one with the removable rubber brush roll. I was priced out by Bissell and had to buy another Dirt Devil. On the very bright side, I think the Dirt Devil far exceeds the Bissell Bolt in suction! I would like to suggest that you make your brush roll removable for cleaning. Even though I prefer the rubber pick up tool, others may prefer bristles. More helpful would be selling a dirt cup replacement for distracted users as myself! I'm sure due to the plastic construction that others may appreciate this, too! My last negative is that the hand vac option is useless because it needs an attachment to make the pickup area smaller. It's too wide to be effective. My final positive is the charger, which stores neatly inside as part of the vacuum, makes it completely cordless! I love that feature! That and the good suction power make this a good purchase. I just wish you would implement the above negatives and you would surpass Bissell! Your price point is why I bought another. I needed a cordless vacuum specifically for the steps. I have wool carpet on steps and my corded vacuum and my hand vacuum just can't get steps fully cleaned so I thought of using this cordless stick vacuum with high suction power. I received this product within 7 days of shipping and the product comes packaged realy well to avoid any damages to the delicate pieces like canister during shipping and handling. Pros: It is very lightweight and easy to use specially on areas like steps, under the couch, and under the cabinets. The head of vacuum moves left and right easily so that it is easy to cover small spaces. It has got 3 levels of suction – you can choose one based on your needs. The suction power is great on carpets and rugs. I even attached a lint/dryer attachment (bought separately) on this vacuum and I was able to pull entire dirt and lint from my clothes dryer in 13 mins by setting it on level 3 suction. The filter was easy to clean- just press a button and the canister opens up. Things that need improvement – 1. Battery – I was able to use this vacuum on level 3 suction power for only 20 minutes and it took 5 and half hours to charge it fully. 2. Corner cleaning capability – It does not work nicely on the corners. I have to use my hand vacuum with an attachment to make sure that all the corners and tough areas are getting properly cleaned. 3. Difficult to attach canister – It took me some time to figure out and get hang of the process of attaching canister back to the vacuum after removing dirt. 4. It did not work so well on the hardwood floor – it was leaving the patches of dirt in between. Overall a decent product for small/tight spaces but that's about it. If you are someone who likes to have a place 100% clean, you will need a second vacuum – something like a small hand vacuum.Neha94

I would highly recommend this vacuum, first and foremost I love that it's super lightweight AND cordless, with runtime up to 44 minutes, which is plenty enough time to get alot of cleaning done! This vacuum works great at cleaning up messes and has plenty of suction power and I especially love that it also features an LED light at the base of the vacuum, that way you can see even more of what you're cleaning and you don't miss any hidden dirt! This stick vacuum also features a brush bar in the vacuum itself, so picking up hair is also a breeze! Something else that I admire about this product is the fact that it also doubles as a handheld vacuum, by simply removing the handheld top part which has an attachable crevice tool to even help get dirt in the trickiest places! Another one of my favorite things about this product is the fact that this vacuum is made with auto sense technology which means it changes suction power based on what surface you're vacuuming! After a short time of use, I was left slightly unimpressed by this vacuum. I own a similar vacuum by a different manufacturer and there are many features it has, that I wish this Samsung Jet vacuum had, such as a telescoping wand, a spare battery, a stand-alone charging stand, and a bottom emptying dust canister. What I loved the most about this vacuum was how extremely lightweight it is, the suction power, and the low profile vacuum head. I was very disappointed with the battery life of this vacuum, and I also found the pet hair tool (mini motorized tool) to be a mostly useless, battery draining tool. The low profile vacuum head and its powerful suction makes for an excellent vacuum on non-carpeted floors and it picks up pet hair really well. Unfortunately, the tiny wheels on the vacuum head made it difficult to vacuum carpet, which is disappointing for my household since it's a mixture of hardwood and carpet. (It just didn’t glide smoothly across carpet, especially at the higher suction settings.) Additionally, while the low profile vacuum head allows for vacuuming of tight spaces, it really limits the debris size that can be vacuumed up. There are three power levels to vacuum at, low, mid, and max. The mid level does ok but I definitely preferred running the vacuum on the max setting. Unfortunately running at the max significantly reduced the runtime of the vacuum to about 7 minutes, and with only one battery included, this means you're out of luck until it recharges. I did like using the vacuum to reach high spots around the house that tend to collect dust and cobwebs. The light weight of the vacuum and the extension crevice tool made it easy to get to those hard to reach areas without having to pull out a step stool. This is where the lightness of the vacuum really shined, as I was able to go around the entire house vacuuming corners and vents without my arm ever getting tired from holding the vacuum up in the air. Overall, after several days of use, I feel that the performance of this vacuum is just ok / average, especially compared to others on the market. There is definitely room for improvement. The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is really lightweight and easy to use with only one hand. It comes with lots of accessories making it very versatile. All of the attachments have a button-click system making it very easy to attach or unattach the different accessories on the fly, so there’s no delay in your cleaning. The vacuum has adjustable suction power and decent suction even on lowest setting, but has even more power when you need it. This vacuum is absolutely great for cleaning those hard to reach places both high and low such as corners, under furniture, air vents, ceiling fans, and window blinds. The Jet 60 is convenient for vacuuming your car. For me, the greatest application for the Jet 60 is vacuuming the stairs. Not having to drag a full sized vacuum up and down the stairs is very nice. The product package states that the battery lasts up to 40 minutes. But when I use it on lowest power setting, I get about 24 minutes before the battery gives out. On full suction power, I only get around 6 minutes of charge. The battery charges quite slowly. After a small job of just a few minutes it takes around half an hour to recharge fully and after a job that depletes the battery completely it takes several hours to recharge fully. This means that it’s really not useful for a whole house cleaning, for that you probably need a corded vacuum. But if you had a small apartment or dorm room it might work fine. Otherwise, it’s mainly useful for spot cleaning and small cleanup jobs like vacuuming the stairs or your car. The dust collection bin is a reasonable size given the battery life, you are likely to run down the battery before the bin is full. The bin consists of 3 parts, one of which is a HEPA filter, and is easy to detach, empty, and clean by rinsing with water. There is a jet of air that comes out of both sides of the vacuum. I mention it because I have experienced these jets blowing dust up into the air while cleaning in especially dusty areas or when vacuuming near loose papers, like on a desk, the papers can get blown around. Overall, the Samsun Jet 60 works quite well, but my biggest complaint is the lack of battery life. I’ve owned other cordless vacuums and getting around 24 minutes of charge time is actually pretty good in comparison.Mkru

Samsung really knocked it out of the park with this little guy. Between my wife and I, we actually enjoy vacuuming. We've even had competitions to see who can clean the most before the battery runs down! It's substantially more than I expected for the size of the battery, you can get a few rooms lightly soiled carpeted rooms in! Not just using it at the lowest speed either! (I'm not sure where Samsung gets the "up to 40mins" number, but I think you'd have to be not using any powered attachments, and at the lowest setting to get close to that, caveat aside, it lasts enough for a quick clean on an average house floor or more!) I also was not expecting it would actually pick up much more than an older hand vacuum that happens to have a long wand/sweeper attachment. It actually functions as a "main" vacuum if you're a frequent cleaner, as it handles deeper messes in a carpet that I was not expecting it to even come close to pulling up all the way. (dog and people hair plus some tracked in dirt/sand that was stepped in, took a few passes, but still managed) It's also not excessively loud, my infant daughter is most intrigued by it and watches us intently, whereas she was frightened/we had to put some hearing protecting on her if we wanted to use our "big" corded vacuum. The ONLY downside I have to this vacuum is the charging/mounting unit, which is why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. Some folks do not want to mount a vacuum and just want it hidden in a closet until use, with a battery charger in the corner maybe out of the way. (The charger mount is a neat idea IF you plan on mounting, since you can charge the battery by itself or leave it in the vacuum and charge through the vacuum without removing the battery)GlennT

I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks and I don't have a single complaint yet. I really love how it was designed. It is very sturdy, yet light enough to easily maneuver around the house and over any type of floor surface. The vacuum head swivels effortlessly and intuitively. I especially love the headlight feature which really helps with picking up things in small crevices and under furniture. I have a large long-haired dog and this vacuum picks up the hair without any issues! The battery is very compact; the charger takes up no more space than my single-serve coffee maker as shown in the photo. Charging only takes a few hours and delivers ample runtime for me to vacuum all three floors of my house. The dust/waste bin is easy to empty and clean. Also, the extra two nozzle heads come with a holder than conveniently & cleverly snaps onto the neck of the vacuum handle, so you always have what you need to get the job done! Overall, I LOVE this product. It is the best of both worlds between a clunky traditional corded vacuum and the compact but underperforming handheld vacuum.tfunny

Had this vacuum for roughly 18 to 24 months, has worked pretty flawlessly up until I dealt with the dreaded brush head issue I read others similarly having, after a search of google and Craftsman and finding zero real solutions, I DID NOT spend $200 on a "throw away and buy new" appliance, that simply isn't the United States I grew up in. Anyway, after a week of the head turning on only to shut down after 2 or 3 seconds, I started my disassembly quest by removing the head assembly and looking at the bottom, where I found a red tab with arrows pointing up. I then held said tab with one finger while prying the brush head out with a flat head screwdriver. I clean the brush head. We then see a red gear at the end with a tiny screw holding it, take your tiny phillips head scredriver and remove screw. Gear will be reluctant but wiggle it on out with small pliers or maybe flat screwdriver. THAT was where my problem lied as 18 months of tiny carpet fibers had gotten in there to cause enough friction to stop brush head. Remove the foreign matter and (optionally) apply just a drop of 3 in 1 onto the metal surface. Reverse to reassemble and you may have just saved some aggravation dealing with a silly warranty process or quite possibly some money. SBD Craftsman should be paying me for all the ambassador work I do for them as a DIY nobody, I tell ya hwut. Only problem I'm presently having is the weak "standing" mechanism when the vac isn't being used, it can stand on its own for an hour or so before it wants to lean either way and inevitably falls to the side. It is closet kept where I lean it up against the wall so it's not as big of a deal to me. But can be aggravating between breaks. Would definitely reccomend!! Just don't buy from Lowe's, shopping Amazon or Ace comes with ALOT more dignity in supporting an actual hardware store, Thank you.Kazi9

I've been using this stick vac every day for over a week and that's about 6 times more than I used my traditional corded vacuum. The convenience of not being limited by the length of a cord and wall outlet availability makes it a game changer for me. The motor is strong and cleans as well as my 110v corded vac, but with less noise. The ability to disable the brush makes cleaning tile/wood floors a completely different experience. The 3 power settings are perfectly located to cycle between with your thumb so that you don't suck up a floor mat when transitioning from wood/tile to rug/mat. The ability to detach the motor from the stick and use the brush head in a stubby fashion makes cleaning carpeted stairs unbelievably easier than my traditional stick vac. I have used the shorty to clean the couches and used the adapters to clean under the cushions. With the stick attached to the broom head I can reach under furniture much farther than my old stick vacuum, the LED lights also help find all your kids toys that were lost before sucking them up. The vacuum is very low profile and almost lays down flat so you don't have to move furniture around to clean. Very nice and time saving! The broom head pans from side to side while using the vacuum and I found this to be annoying when trying to go fast. I discovered a way to lock the head and am able to maneuver the vacuum more aggressively without the head flopping around. Craftsman should address that in future revisions of the vacuum, I could see someone making a kit as an "upgrade" and selling those… The wheels on the broom head are nice, but I've found them to be a little lacking when it comes to maneuverability. If the wheels were replaced with ball casters then you would have infinite movement in your X and Y axis and could slide the vacuum in any direction to reach around obstructions. I hope this is something that Craftsman would consider for future releases. The battery life is short lived with the included 2 Ah battery, but enough for me to complete about 1,500 sqf. With an additional battery or (4 Ah) you can accomplish more work. I found myself trying to race the battery to get the cleaning done, which opened my eyes to the swiveling head and rigid wheels. Cleaning is easy. Pull the container, push a button (over a garbage can) and empty the contents. The twisty knob agitator cleans fine particles from the filter (much better than banging it on the garbage can or your other hand). I wish there was a vacuum float gauge you could monitor to quickly determine the health of your filter. I've seen welding helmets with clear tubes filled with small plastic balls and graduations on the tube that let you see air flow. This would make replacing the filter more accurate than just throwing it away and buying a new one every 6 months. I really enjoy using this vacuum and find myself looking for reasons to use it. This is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used. It's light-weight, maneuverable, and yet it still does an amazing job picking up tough messes on carpet and hard floors! The touchscreen is so cool too and it's in convenient reach for those of us that are shorter. First use I was able to vacuum my entire 3k square foot house in 30 minutes and it didn't even halfway fill the canister! Just don't attempt to use it on a heating pad to try to remove pet hair (my fiance tried, not me) as the brush will pop off and scare your fiance into thinking he ruined your new vacuum cleaner! I got this vacuum because I originally bought a smaller version of a black and decker cordless vacuum that was a total dud and didn’t even turn on. This one actually turned on! I really like that its cordless, moves very easy and gets in tight spots. Unfortunately this vacuum is more for small cleans. It’s too small to clean the whole house or to do a real thorough job for a carpeted room. Battery life is pretty good, at least 45 minutes on high. Another downfall is that it takes a while to charge. My husband is a bigger fan of the vacuum because of the attachments and how easy it is to detach and use for the couch or car. It needs to be emptied frequently, canister is not that big. But for the price and its perks its an overall pretty good little vacuum.Convenient4smallstuff

At first I was so excited about it because it was cordless and went on hardwood to carpet automatically. Hair gets tangled around it so fast, hair get clogged in the suction part. Even after vacuuming my rug there is still so much dog hair on it. Seriously don’t waste your money if you have pets even though it says for pet houses.Dani

This vacuum is a little workhorse! I have all tile and hardwood floors and I use this at least twice a week to do a quick pick-up of hair and "fuzzies." It has great suction for such a small vac. It doesn't have a brush and that's what I like about it….No more tangles of hair and thread to tug and pull out of the brushes. It's so easy to empty and keep clean. I've had several cordless vacs over the last 10 years but the batteries just keep getting weaker over time until they quit. These are corded and a little less convenient but I think they will last a lot longer. I don't think it would be too good for carpet or rugs but it works great on tile and hardwood.BBShopper

I found this while looking for a cordless vac and this comes up in that search but it is definitely corded with no cordless option. It’s really just a handheld, corded vacuum Which works as you’d expect, fine, that comes with a handle and an attachment to give it a bit wider suction area, so it’s an upright with the attachments or you can take those off and use it in your car or other spaces better for a handheld. It works well for quick passes through my uncarpeted house, and over throw rugs, has good suction but of course the bin is small, so it needs to be emptied and the internal filter cleaned off quite regularly. It’s simple, works for what I need, isn’t heavy, and the cord is quite long so I can do a couple of rooms before unplugging. The filter is permanent so you just clean it and replace it, and the attachments are pretty easy to take off if needed.WorkingLots

You get what you pay for. This was inexpensive and it shows. Very cheaply made, will be lucky if it lasts a month. Only feature that is good is the handle comes off making it a handheld vacuum for furniture.Judy
