20 Best Cordless Stick Vacuum Under $200 (Jan 2023 Update)

I bought this particular vacuum because I had used one at a friends's. I ordered mine on June 23rd and received it the next day! I was so excited! Three days later my friend called and said not to get the vacuum because her battery stopped charging and she had only had it for 4 months! Well, I kept mine thinking hers was a fluke but nope! After 4 1/2 months, my battery has stopped charging! I have tried to call the 1-800 number but it keeps saying "due to weather" they are closed and to call back. IF someone has any suggestions about what to do, please let me onow. I reallly liked this vacuum when it worked. Everything about was great….except now, the battery!Sad DRB in Florida

I've had many vacuums over the years and this is the worst. I extensively research items before I buy them to be sure they have the features I'm looking for, which is why I chose this product. If I could send it beck, I would. The dust cup disconnects from the handle regularly and already I've lost suction. It completely disconnects and falls apart with very little handling. It doesn't "prop up" on anything in my house like it says it should. Eureka is a good brand and I've had other stick vacs but this is awful.Jo

When I unpackaged my Eureka Rapid Clean pro, my first thought that it was too light weight and didnt look like it could handle much nor would the battery big long enough to make it around my house. I will say that I own a Kirby, Dyson, and no this Eureka so I have quite a bit to compare it to. Style wise it was similar to my Dyson V6 but not nearly as heavy. Super easy to assemble- I didnt even bother reading the instructions. I charged it up and took it around the house. Lucky for this review we are renovating our home so there is plenty of dust from hanging, texturing, and sanding drywall, 60 year old insulation fluff in and on everything and every corner and much more. I've been using my Dyson primarily before I received this just because its easier to grab- the Eureka Rapid Pro is MUCH lighter and just as easy to cart around. I LOVE that the head of the vacuum seems to sit really low to the ground where my other stick vacuum is a little higher and tends to grab things that are "too big" for it to handle and thus just shoot it out of the back- this Eureka is low enough that it doesnt really grab what it can't handle. I also love the extra wheels on the head allowing for REALLY nice range of motion.. and the LIGHT! Never thought a light on the head of a cordless vacuum would come in so handy but its life changing! I could SEE where the dust was under the bed and go where I needed and be done rather than just aimlessly moving it around and hoping I got what I needed to. Lastly- the battery life was wayyyy longer than my Dyson. I even used it- LET IT UNPLUGGED for a few days, used it again and left it unplugged again and used- that to me is amazing for a small stick vacuum. All in all- this is definitely a little machine with a big presence! Thank you!Anna

Here is what I love about it, personally I have been able to vacuum my whole house on 1 charge. I love not having to unplug, plug, unplug, plug. The second thing I like is that its not heavy. I will say it does collect alot of debris. It also has to really packed and the filter really dirty before acting up and then it will leave debris on the floor. I agree is does not vacuum as well, if the filter is dirty.
What I don't love is that it cuts out like it has a short in it when vacuuming, as if you have released the power button. I dont know if this an actual short or a flawed design but its very frustrating. I would give it more stars if it didn't cut out when vacuuming and that you didn't have to continually hold the power button down while vacuuming. It starts to hurt after a few minutes because I'm trying to make sure it doesn't cut out so I'm squeezing extra hard not even realizing I'm doing it. It does have great sections when clean, even on carpet it does great.Tonia B.

I am a hotel manager and professional housekeeper. This vacuum sucks at sucking. I've had it a year now. I keep it meticulously clean because if I dont it doesnt work. The brush wont spin when you pull back, the battery dies within 20 minutes of use on regular power no matter how long you've charged it, the filter is tiny and clogs almost immediately requiring you to rinse and wait the recommended 24 hours to dry before using again. The canister is small needing emptied frequently. These things combined make a five minute job at least 30 minutes worth of work. If I want to clean the house I have to start by cleaning the vacuum. Its design is flawed in the sense that the removable pieces and stem are hard to actually take off. I thought because it was a Hoover and it was more than I wanted to spend that I'd be impressed. I waited a year to review because I wanted to see if they would make good on their promise to handle the issues bit I still have not heard back from them. A year of one way correspondence and nothing. Inewspected their request to not return it to the store when I shouldnt have. Dont buy this model. Maybe another is better but I doubt I take the chance. I've had this for almost a year and am reasonably satisfied with it, though it has some issues. Pluses- vacuum and attachments are extremely versatile- great for vacuuming spiderwebs overhead with the crevice tool, as well as on the floor. On the floor, the head swivels a lot and readily fits into small and low spaces. I've had no issues with the battery- it seems to run the vac for a long time, and I plug it in after every use. Minuses- The long wand with floor head is difficult to remove from the vacuum motor housing. Also, the dirt cup doesn't latch easily to the vacuum- you have to slide it in place and give it a good smack with your hand- took me a while to figure this out. The little filter fills up very quickly and suction is lost. The motor is very loud. If vacuuming overhead, the motor is near your ear so I wear ear plugs to do this. Sure would be nice to have a light on the front of the floor head. Upshot- if you can live with the minuses, it works very well and can be used for just about any vacuuming task. No need to buy a separate handheld.Katy G

I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks and I don't have a single complaint yet. I really love how it was designed. It is very sturdy, yet light enough to easily maneuver around the house and over any type of floor surface. The vacuum head swivels effortlessly and intuitively. I especially love the headlight feature which really helps with picking up things in small crevices and under furniture. I have a large long-haired dog and this vacuum picks up the hair without any issues! The battery is very compact; the charger takes up no more space than my single-serve coffee maker as shown in the photo. Charging only takes a few hours and delivers ample runtime for me to vacuum all three floors of my house. The dust/waste bin is easy to empty and clean. Also, the extra two nozzle heads come with a holder than conveniently & cleverly snaps onto the neck of the vacuum handle, so you always have what you need to get the job done! Overall, I LOVE this product. It is the best of both worlds between a clunky traditional corded vacuum and the compact but underperforming handheld vacuum.tfunny

Had this vacuum for roughly 18 to 24 months, has worked pretty flawlessly up until I dealt with the dreaded brush head issue I read others similarly having, after a search of google and Craftsman and finding zero real solutions, I DID NOT spend $200 on a "throw away and buy new" appliance, that simply isn't the United States I grew up in. Anyway, after a week of the head turning on only to shut down after 2 or 3 seconds, I started my disassembly quest by removing the head assembly and looking at the bottom, where I found a red tab with arrows pointing up. I then held said tab with one finger while prying the brush head out with a flat head screwdriver. I clean the brush head. We then see a red gear at the end with a tiny screw holding it, take your tiny phillips head scredriver and remove screw. Gear will be reluctant but wiggle it on out with small pliers or maybe flat screwdriver. THAT was where my problem lied as 18 months of tiny carpet fibers had gotten in there to cause enough friction to stop brush head. Remove the foreign matter and (optionally) apply just a drop of 3 in 1 onto the metal surface. Reverse to reassemble and you may have just saved some aggravation dealing with a silly warranty process or quite possibly some money. SBD Craftsman should be paying me for all the ambassador work I do for them as a DIY nobody, I tell ya hwut. Only problem I'm presently having is the weak "standing" mechanism when the vac isn't being used, it can stand on its own for an hour or so before it wants to lean either way and inevitably falls to the side. It is closet kept where I lean it up against the wall so it's not as big of a deal to me. But can be aggravating between breaks. Would definitely reccomend!! Just don't buy from Lowe's, shopping Amazon or Ace comes with ALOT more dignity in supporting an actual hardware store, Thank you.Kazi9

I've been using this stick vac every day for over a week and that's about 6 times more than I used my traditional corded vacuum. The convenience of not being limited by the length of a cord and wall outlet availability makes it a game changer for me. The motor is strong and cleans as well as my 110v corded vac, but with less noise. The ability to disable the brush makes cleaning tile/wood floors a completely different experience. The 3 power settings are perfectly located to cycle between with your thumb so that you don't suck up a floor mat when transitioning from wood/tile to rug/mat. The ability to detach the motor from the stick and use the brush head in a stubby fashion makes cleaning carpeted stairs unbelievably easier than my traditional stick vac. I have used the shorty to clean the couches and used the adapters to clean under the cushions. With the stick attached to the broom head I can reach under furniture much farther than my old stick vacuum, the LED lights also help find all your kids toys that were lost before sucking them up. The vacuum is very low profile and almost lays down flat so you don't have to move furniture around to clean. Very nice and time saving! The broom head pans from side to side while using the vacuum and I found this to be annoying when trying to go fast. I discovered a way to lock the head and am able to maneuver the vacuum more aggressively without the head flopping around. Craftsman should address that in future revisions of the vacuum, I could see someone making a kit as an "upgrade" and selling those… The wheels on the broom head are nice, but I've found them to be a little lacking when it comes to maneuverability. If the wheels were replaced with ball casters then you would have infinite movement in your X and Y axis and could slide the vacuum in any direction to reach around obstructions. I hope this is something that Craftsman would consider for future releases. The battery life is short lived with the included 2 Ah battery, but enough for me to complete about 1,500 sqf. With an additional battery or (4 Ah) you can accomplish more work. I found myself trying to race the battery to get the cleaning done, which opened my eyes to the swiveling head and rigid wheels. Cleaning is easy. Pull the container, push a button (over a garbage can) and empty the contents. The twisty knob agitator cleans fine particles from the filter (much better than banging it on the garbage can or your other hand). I wish there was a vacuum float gauge you could monitor to quickly determine the health of your filter. I've seen welding helmets with clear tubes filled with small plastic balls and graduations on the tube that let you see air flow. This would make replacing the filter more accurate than just throwing it away and buying a new one every 6 months. I really enjoy using this vacuum and find myself looking for reasons to use it. Perfect for master bed and bathroom quick vacuuming that you do not want to drag out the big vacuum for. Very light weight with a good balance. Not top heavy, like other competitors. Rhymes with Tyson. We have that one too and I like this one much better. Good for hair, short dog fur, fuzzies from dog bed, and light dust. Holds charge well. I have been through so many stick vacs for quick cleanups. They were all terrible in one way or another – or many different ways… This one beats them all in the following ways: -Easy and clean to empty dirt – two filter pieces stay together and come out and go in easy -Stands up reliably without tipping over if bumped -ACTUALLY CLEANS!!! -front roller comes out for easy cleaning of hair and other things that get wrapped around it ALSO has the following that my others have not: -removable hand dust buster – amazing for small spaces with no need to store an extra item -LED lights – never knew I needed them, but they sure are handy -folding handle – just kinda cool space saver -onboard attachments for the dustbuster I have been buying one stick vac after another (probably 10 in total) over the past 12 or so years and they were all terrible. I was about to give up and just find more convenient storage for my big canister vac, but thought I'd give it one last try! I've only had it a month, so not sure about longevity, but certainly a winner based on features!!!molly

Love the idea of the little vacuum. I just don’t understand why black and decker made it sooooo weak. I have to go over one area 2-3 times to pick up everything. I’m not expecting Dyson strength but also not something that makes noise but does not feel like it’s sucking up particles. It almost feels like a toy. B&D if you read reviews please fix this vacuum make it more powerful but with the same design. Every other cordless vacuum out there is top-heavy and it’s so uncomfortable. Your design is perfect. Also the charging plug in is annoying to plug in. It has to be in an exact rotation to be able to be plugged in. Sadly I will have to return it.Dasha

I purchased this to sweep the laminate floors in my apartment. It was fine the first few months, but the quality dropped off sharply before I had owned it for a year. The roller would randomly lose power, even after I cleaned it and the roller. When I needed to buy replacement parts I was shocked at how expensive they were compared to other vacuums I have owned in the past. The lack of accessories was also disheartening. It works well as a dust-buster style handheld but is terrible as a floor sweeper. I only use it on my stairs now. I will use it until it finally dies, but do not feel confident purchasing another Dirt Devil product.Steven

My condo overlooks the Gulf in southwest Florida. I thought I'd be smart and put in no-see-'em screens on my lanai. Well the screens work great for the bugs = none. But the finer pitch of the screen also acts as a silt collector for the air flow. Then when it rains and blows, my sand colored lanai tiles and GROUT have dark silt remaining when dry. Previous method was to get the electric sweeper, attach long wand and brush head (not a brush roll) and suck up the silt. It didn't do well on the grout lines. Alternative was to use the steamer more frequently = pain. I wanted to simplify the cleaning. I looked at a lot of stick vacs but the DD22510 was the only one that had a powered brush roll, and high suction, ANNNNNDDDD let me take the unit as a hand held vac down 5 floors to my car thus avoiding dragging my huge sweeper along. Got the unit yesterday and tried it out on the silt I left accumulate for testing. Tried it today 7/15/19 and it works just outstandingly well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the support bracket is ill designed. When I put my powered carpet nozzle on and then attached the support bracket, and then moved the nozzle against the baseboard….the sticky tape surface on the back of the bracket is NOT parallel to the wall. I measured the angle and it's about 15 degrees off. Plus the well where the sweeper handle sets on the bracket is too shallow and the sweeper pops out too easily. Engineering needs to rethink. Otherwise I would readily recommend purchasing.Bally

I loved this vacuum. I used it all the time. It was perfect for my apartment. I used it to vacuum the vinyl flooring before mopping the floor. The problem is that the swivel on the sweeper head broke and there is no replacement parts. I was able to fix it using gorilla glue but that only lasted about 3 months. Now I have a dirt devil that is basically a handheld sweeper (aka dust buster type).Tonya H.

POWERSERIES+™ Cordless Stick Vacuum We were looking for an affordable all-in-one vacuum that can be used on carpet and hard floors, lightweight, high suction power, cordless, easy to hold & clean, long-lasting warranty. Many criteria, isn't it? When I received this cordless stick vacuum, I first used that on a carpet, and you can't believe it sucked up so much dust from the cleaned carpet! I couldn't believe it and tried to use that in a different room and after using it I realized that the one I was using earlier was the heaviest & noisy and did not capture the microparticles which this little gem did on the very first use. The stick has a powerful light to see if the area is dirty and it automatically adjust the speed on the carpet and hard floor. Also, you don't need to hang this anyway as this can be kept anywhere without any back support. Based on my experience it has powerful suction and long-lasting battery life which you can easily use for your daily cleaning with a single charge. This vacuum is incredible! Things I love about it: – It is so light, and sucks up stuff so easily and well. You can press it twice for more suction. – The coolest part is there is a light on it so you actually see everything you're vacuuming up. I thought my floor was clean and then I used this vacuum- I couldn't believe how much was there that I couldn't see without the light and how it got up all the dog hair and dust so easily. It's such an awesome idea to have the small light on it- I've never seen that before. – It can lay flat so you can put it all the way under the couch or bed if it's raised up abt 3 or 4" off ground and you can turn it really easily to get edges. I've always had to wipe under the furniture so this is so nice and easy. – it automatically switches suction when you go over carpet vs wood from sensing it. – I LOVE that it's battery operated. the battery seems to last long- I vacuumed the whole downstairs and the charge was still there. I've just been plugging it in to charge every time I put the vacuum back so I'm not sure how long it lasts but seems to last pretty long. – my kids want to vacuum now bc they love seeing all the stuff with the light that gets cleaned up!!! Ha ha! It's really made vacuuming so much better and our floors are so much cleaner! Here's a before and after pic to give you an idea. Overall this is a great product. We have a lot of slate which is a bit bumpy but the vac handles it very well. When transitioning to carpet this is where it had a problem and the roller popped out. Now I just turn it off when I go from slate to carpet to area rugs. It does not like long shag so I’ll use my regular vac for those. A great feature is the headlight and that it feels almost self propelled, the maneuverability getting under things like a bed is fabulous. The fact that it’s a comfortable weight and no cord has tended to make me use it on my carpet three times a week, in fact I’ve not used my regular vacuum since receiving this. I finally received my MooSoo stick vac. All the pieces were there. My neighbor, who had just bought a new vacuum of another brand, was here when I was putting it together, and she was wishing she had waited to buy a vacuum until after she had seen mine. I ran it for a few minutes (then plugged the battery in to charge it up) and it seemed to run fine and seemed to have pretty good suction for an inexpensive stick vac. I like the way it looks and I love that it is cordless. I really like the attachment that has a brush that will slide down and lock out of the way so I can use the tool on my furniture or up along the edge of the ceiling or windows, as well as other places I probably haven't thought of yet. I am being treated with chemotherapy now, and will be in medical therapy until late spring. I am unable to use my upright, heavy duty vacuum right now, as I am not able to push it around for more than a few minutes at a time. I decided to forgo the Shark stick vac and instead go with this MooSoo, as I was really intrigued by all the great reviews on this budget friendly model. Actually, I was impressed with the reviews on all of the MooSoo products, so I decided that I needed to give you a try. I don't think I am going to be sorry!Janice C.

My old moosoo still works great, but I needed to because the battery life wasn’t so great on the old one but this new one did have a good battery or a slightly better one. Other than that this one is nowhere near as good as the one I bought last year I was very disappointed in this, it’s nice that swivels around, but it still doesn’t pick up like the old one and the light on it is very dim when compared to last year’s mooso vaccum it was the white one this vacuum seemed sturdier, but it just doesn’t work. I’m returning this I have to have something that works. I absolutely hate returning things to the store but in this case I have too because I definitely need something that I can depend on. Be really clear before you get this vacuum what you will use it for. I needed it to replace the broom and dustpan I used to clean the hardwood floor and tile in my 900 sqft apartment. This vacuum makes it so easy that I clean the floor more often now. It has turned a 2 hour job into 35 minutes. Given my smallish apartment I can’t speak on how long the battery will last for. Pros Assembly consists of just snapping it together, quick and easy Going cordless makes cleaning up so quick, game changer Hand tool is great for cleaning corners, window sills, crown molding, crumbs from drawers, etc Light weight, easy to get under furniture It is NOT loud Great for dust, cat hair, my hair, cat litter Reaches under furniture and tight spaces Has a targeted tool to clean tight corners, crown moldings, and window sills. Cons If you want this vacuum to clean up the cheerios your toddler got all over the floor, this will not work for you. This is not for fluffy rugs or those that have wall to wall carpeting. Will clean throw rugs that are not plush. Unit is top heavy, you have to be careful and lean it against something that will support it otherwise it will fall over.Rose

I purchased this cordless stick vacuum online through Walmart.com this past Christmas. I was my first experience with a cordless vacuum of my own. That being stated. I love this vacuum. It gets the job done using two different power settings depending on the amount of dirt you are picking up. It is very versatile and light to carry. It's ability to seperate into a smaller handheld vacuum is very convenient in small tight spaces. I like that it has all the desirable features that one would look for on a stick. First its cordless (the battery charges superfast) and can be charged connected to the vacuum for easy access, or seperated and charged on say.. a desk or counter top. I like that it does have a ball joint and pivots seamlessly in any direction you steer it into (makes getting into those tight corners easy). It also has a very bright L.E.D. panel on the front of the roller brush attachment (for floors). It has a good amount of battery life. I believe its 45 minutes? Though I can't remember the last time I vacuumed for 45 minutes straight. It always gets the job done without dying on me. It also comes with a wall mount hook you can install wherever you prefer to store your cleaning supplies. This comes in really handy as my roommate had an alternative branded vacuum that didn't have this and was always falling over (stick vacuums are typically top heavy). I would recommend purchasing the upgraded version of this vacuum that comes with additional hardware if you are a person who enjoys vacuuming (as I do). It does come in handle when you wanna vacuum additional places such as your vehicle upholstery or furniture. My overall consensus is that while its definitely not as powerful as a $700 stick vacuum. I have no complaints and have enjoyed using it. It is a good choice for someone looking to purchase a hearty stick vacuum at a modest price.RememberwhoUare86

I had such high hopes for this vacuum based on the reviews. I was extremely disappointed. Though it's light weight, easy to use and picks up A LOT of dirt.. that's about all it will pick up. I have toddlers who find it humorous to smash crackers into the floors (carpet and hardwood). this vacuum picks up the finer pieces, but the tails of a goldfish for example and swept into the roller, and spun all the way to the left, missing the suction tube, and spit back out when the vacuum is pulled back for another pass. This was my experience on carpet and on tile. The roller doesn't seem long enough (bristles) or it spins too fast, but it can't even pick up when is in the shallow grout line. I have to clean the mesh piece and filter after every use too. I will say I loved the weight of this, the battery life was fairly decent for what it is, and the ease of being able to switch lengths was great.Brooke

I know this vaccum's on the cheaper end of the spectrum so not too much should be expected, but it's still almost $100 and mine broke within 4 months. I don't even have carpet – I use it for dust mostly. I was right outside of the Target 3 month window, so I'm out of luck. I tried messaging customer service, but no dice. Tried messaging Dirt Devil but no luck there either. If you are going to get this vacuum, get the 2 year protection plan. Apparently it's common for this model to start shutting off shortly after you turn it on, fully charged with a clean filter and all. Too bad because it was pretty convenient for my little apartment!LC

Ever since Dirt Devil came out with the edge-to-edge feature to clean near baseboard I have been hooked on their brand. I saw this cordless one in Target for other items and I had to have it and I have not been disappointed. I was not disappointed either since it loses no power by being cordless and has the same ease of emptying the dirt cup in just a few minutes and it came with a rinseable filter (which saves you from having to buy them so often). The dirt spins in the collection cup and has a beater bar as well plus you can remove the handle in seconds to use it as a hand vac. What I really love is that the charger itself is permanently attached to the device so you don't have to go hunting for it when it is time to recharge the battery. All you have to do is pull it out of the handle and plug it in and the cord is more than long enough. Just so you know we can vacuum all our carpented area on one charge and then some. We use it in the kitchen for picking up bits of this and that on our nice white ceramic tile as well which shows everything that lands on it! The price was fantastic and was under $100. Do yourself a favor and try one of these out, you will be glad you did!Susievere

Unfortunately, I somehow threw away the dirt cup when cleaning the brush bristles! I wasn't happy that you sell some parts, but not this one, making it necessary to buy an entire new vacuum instead of just a part! There are things that I like and dislike about this particular vacuum. I prefer the ones with a rubber brush roll instead of bristles for 2 reasons. 1) the rubber one is removeable. It pops right out so you only have a brush roll in your hand to clean instead of an upside-down wiggly vacuum you're trying to balance over the trash can while cleaning out the hair. 2) It's so easy to cut the hair off the rubber brush roll as opposed to cutting and pulling hair out of bristles. I think I shed as much hair as my dog, so my long hair is yucky to have to remove from the bristles. Unfortunately, you don't make the one with the removable rubber brush roll. I was priced out by Bissell and had to buy another Dirt Devil. On the very bright side, I think the Dirt Devil far exceeds the Bissell Bolt in suction! I would like to suggest that you make your brush roll removable for cleaning. Even though I prefer the rubber pick up tool, others may prefer bristles. More helpful would be selling a dirt cup replacement for distracted users as myself! I'm sure due to the plastic construction that others may appreciate this, too! My last negative is that the hand vac option is useless because it needs an attachment to make the pickup area smaller. It's too wide to be effective. My final positive is the charger, which stores neatly inside as part of the vacuum, makes it completely cordless! I love that feature! That and the good suction power make this a good purchase. I just wish you would implement the above negatives and you would surpass Bissell! Your price point is why I bought another. I honestly was not happy about it when all I needed was a part.love dogs, hate hair!

I have wool carpet on steps and my corded vacuum and my hand vacuum just can't get steps fully cleaned so I thought of using this cordless stick vacuum with high suction power. I received this product within 7 days of shipping and the product comes packaged realy well to avoid any damages to the delicate pieces like canister during shipping and handling. Pros: It is very lightweight and easy to use specially on areas like steps, under the couch, and under the cabinets. The head of vacuum moves left and right easily so that it is easy to cover small spaces. It has got 3 levels of suction – you can choose one based on your needs. The suction power is great on carpets and rugs. I even attached a lint/dryer attachment (bought separately) on this vacuum and I was able to pull entire dirt and lint from my clothes dryer in 13 mins by setting it on level 3 suction. The filter was easy to clean- just press a button and the canister opens up. Things that need improvement – 1. Battery – I was able to use this vacuum on level 3 suction power for only 20 minutes and it took 5 and half hours to charge it fully. 2. Corner cleaning capability – It does not work nicely on the corners. I have to use my hand vacuum with an attachment to make sure that all the corners and tough areas are getting properly cleaned. 3. Difficult to attach canister – It took me some time to figure out and get hang of the process of attaching canister back to the vacuum after removing dirt. 4. It did not work so well on the hardwood floor – it was leaving the patches of dirt in between. Overall a decent product for small/tight spaces but that's about it. If you are someone who likes to have a place 100% clean, you will need a second vacuum – something like a small hand vacuum.Neha94

I would highly recommend this vacuum, first and foremost I love that it's super lightweight AND cordless, with runtime up to 44 minutes, which is plenty enough time to get alot of cleaning done! This vacuum works great at cleaning up messes and has plenty of suction power and I especially love that it also features an LED light at the base of the vacuum, that way you can see even more of what you're cleaning and you don't miss any hidden dirt! This stick vacuum also features a brush bar in the vacuum itself, so picking up hair is also a breeze! Something else that I admire about this product is the fact that it also doubles as a handheld vacuum, by simply removing the handheld top part which has an attachable crevice tool to even help get dirt in the trickiest places! Another one of my favorite things about this product is the fact that this vacuum is made with auto sense technology which means it changes suction power based on what surface you're vacuuming! I received this vacuum for Christmas, and have been using it daily for about three months now. I really wanted to love this vacuum, but I don't. The main issue I have is with the self-cleaning brushroll: Sure it doesn't tangle, but that would require it to actually pick up fur in the first place. This vacuum adamantly refuses to pick up any fur that isn't just sitting loose on the surface of the rug…which is deeply unhelpful. The roll just wipes fur along, without doing anything to agitate the carpet. I have used the entire battery life of this vacuum on my single living room area rug, just to still need to use my rubber broom. For a vacuum that costs >$300, this is extremely disappointing, and considering the vacuum is called the "pet pro," I truly don't understand why this vacuum simply cannot handle fur in any regard. My second problem with this vacuum is that it leaks dust from every single joint and seam the entire time I'm using it. Who wants to be covered in dust from vacuuming? Not I. Additionally, the wand itself clogs constantly in a way that's very difficult to clean out. In fact, most of this vacuum is difficult to clean, outside of changing the filters. I have two cats and a lab mix who sheds like it's his mission on earth, and frankly, this vacuum just does not cut it.LindseyJoy

I've never made a purchase that I've been more disappointed in. The vacuum worked fine the first couple of times now every time is vacuum my house I have to unclog the machine from the many many many potential clog spots. I never once had this problem with our previous dyson vacuum. I have a golden retriever, so yes, having to maybe unload the vacuum is to be expected however for a product that supposedly specializes in pets, it does a TERRIBLE job. I've had to take apart the base of the bottom when that gets clogged, the shaft of the vacuum comes apart and now hair seems to get clogged making the base of the vacuum essentially worthless. I am so so so bummed and wish I would have returned this while I had the chance. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY PICKS UP DOG HAIR.Megan

I absolutely love that it is cordless. I loved the black friday price… i think it was $159 or $179 something like that . WAY under the price for a dyson. I absolutely love it. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat all whom shed ALOT. I use this vacuum daily, several times a day and have not had any issue with the battery. Keep in mind i mentioned having a little zoo of animals, so the first month i had to take the machine apart to be able to remove clogged hair on the long stick. The instructions dont really tell you how to clean it. There is more than just emptying the basket. To avoid it getting clogged, i now try to blow out all the hair in the tubes Atleast once a week. Only negative i would mention is I wish it was a bit stronger and wish it gave an option on height. For example if there is a leaf on the floor it will not suck it in becase the vacuum in not high off the ground to pick it up. I believe the dyson is a tad stronger but its not worth paying $400, when i can just use this one for under $200. I do not regret purchasing this at all. My house feels cleaner and its super easy to use.If you find it on special buy it!Kelly

I have always wanted to own a cordless vacuum and now this Black and Decker Power Series Extreme cordless stick vacuum is making my life so easy. I like the fact that it’s lightweight and easy to handle. I can easily carry it around my house with least effort. Being cordless I no more have to struggle with wires. The dustbin is removable and can easily be emptied. The handle can be detached from the brush of you just need to use the stick to clean the corners or crevices. The anti tangle brush bar is something I am happy about. The vacuum is powerful and sucks dust and dirt very well. Great for both hardwood floors and also carpet. The LED light is the best feature especially when the places are poorly lit the LED light helps in cleaning up the spots and makes my house more clean. The battery holds good for about one hour. And I own several black and decker lawn tools so I mix and match my batteries and that’s really a plus point. Definitely is much less noisy compared to other vacuums. The accessories given with this vacuum are very good and love the fact that I can hang it in my tools closet after using it. This cordless stick vacuum is great for cleaning stairs. It’s easy to twist and turn the agitator to empty the dust and dirt. I can easily charge the batteries too. All the functions are exceptional and I am so impressed with this!Kiomina

I've had a lot of bad luck with cordless vacuums in my life. They generally lack enough power to accomplish anything you'd want them to. The POWERSERIES Extreme Cordless Stick Vacuum, however, has not left me feeling disappointed! I have a mixture of hard floor, low pile carpet, and medium pile carpet throughout my house. The high pile carpet does not benefit much from this cordless vacuum, but for spot cleaning the short pile carpet, this thing can do the trick if I put it on "MAX" speed (although it's a bit loud at that level). But where this thing really shines for me is on hard floor. Even on the lowest speed, it hasn't had any problems picking debris up off my hard flooring. The biggest highlight was when I discovered that it fits beneath my couch!! The couch only has a 3-inch clearance, so it becomes a black hole that gathers all kinds of junk: leaves, dust, dog hair, dropped food, etc… To clean under there, I've always had to lift up the couch and move it out of the way. But this cordless vacuum allows me to clean underneath it completely, without moving the couch at all!! Talk about a win! It also has some handy features, which I'll list off below. I know this vaccum's on the cheaper end of the spectrum so not too much should be expected, but it's still almost $100 and mine broke within 4 months. I don't even have carpet – I use it for dust mostly. I was right outside of the Target 3 month window, so I'm out of luck. I tried messaging customer service, but no dice. Tried messaging Dirt Devil but no luck there either. If you are going to get this vacuum, get the 2 year protection plan. Apparently it's common for this model to start shutting off shortly after you turn it on, fully charged with a clean filter and all. Too bad because it was pretty convenient for my little apartment!LC

Ever since Dirt Devil came out with the edge-to-edge feature to clean near baseboard I have been hooked on their brand. I saw this cordless one in Target for other items and I had to have it and I have not been disappointed. I was not disappointed either since it loses no power by being cordless and has the same ease of emptying the dirt cup in just a few minutes and it came with a rinseable filter (which saves you from having to buy them so often). The dirt spins in the collection cup and has a beater bar as well plus you can remove the handle in seconds to use it as a hand vac. What I really love is that the charger itself is permanently attached to the device so you don't have to go hunting for it when it is time to recharge the battery. All you have to do is pull it out of the handle and plug it in and the cord is more than long enough. Just so you know we can vacuum all our carpented area on one charge and then some. We use it in the kitchen for picking up bits of this and that on our nice white ceramic tile as well which shows everything that lands on it! The price was fantastic and was under $100. Do yourself a favor and try one of these out, you will be glad you did!Susievere

Unfortunately, I somehow threw away the dirt cup when cleaning the brush bristles! I wasn't happy that you sell some parts, but not this one, making it necessary to buy an entire new vacuum instead of just a part! There are things that I like and dislike about this particular vacuum. I prefer the ones with a rubber brush roll instead of bristles for 2 reasons. 1) the rubber one is removeable. It pops right out so you only have a brush roll in your hand to clean instead of an upside-down wiggly vacuum you're trying to balance over the trash can while cleaning out the hair. 2) It's so easy to cut the hair off the rubber brush roll as opposed to cutting and pulling hair out of bristles. I think I shed as much hair as my dog, so my long hair is yucky to have to remove from the bristles. Unfortunately, you don't make the one with the removable rubber brush roll. I was priced out by Bissell and had to buy another Dirt Devil. On the very bright side, I think the Dirt Devil far exceeds the Bissell Bolt in suction! I would like to suggest that you make your brush roll removable for cleaning. Even though I prefer the rubber pick up tool, others may prefer bristles. More helpful would be selling a dirt cup replacement for distracted users as myself! I'm sure due to the plastic construction that others may appreciate this, too! My last negative is that the hand vac option is useless because it needs an attachment to make the pickup area smaller. It's too wide to be effective. My final positive is the charger, which stores neatly inside as part of the vacuum, makes it completely cordless! I love that feature! That and the good suction power make this a good purchase. I just wish you would implement the above negatives and you would surpass Bissell! Your price point is why I bought another. I honestly was not happy about it when all I needed was a part.love dogs, hate hair!

I really loved this vacuum with great features and a decent price point and it worked very well considering I have a dog that sheds a lot. Most of my flooring is hard surface and use(d) this primarily for doing the carpeted stairs, quick clean ups and under furniture. The hose on the power head tore a few months ago and I could not find a replacement for it, unless I purchased the entire power head which is almost as much as I paid for the whole vacuum. So, I used some Goop to glue the holes and it worked for a while but now so many segments are torn that the cannot be glued together anymore; still no replacement hose available. Disappointing.Scott

My husband and I are in our 80s with the usual arthritis and back problems. When we bought this vacuum we thought we had gone to Heaven early. It is so light and flexible and it gets under and around furniture so easily. The suction is terrific and emptying the canister is a snap. So we bought a second one for the other side of the house. The minute it arrived the first one would only run for less than a minute and then shut off. It was fully charged but still refused to work! I feel really let down by a product bearing the Eureka name. Eureka has been the name of choice for over 50 years in our household. Such a shame!Unhappy Senior

I JUST purchased this vacuum and am in love with it!! It worked incredibly!! I couldn't really believe… Like, finally, I just found the BEST for me vacuum. It's lightweight, it swivels, on high mode it kicked butt!! The extensions are so easy to put on/off… THERE IS NO CORD!! YAY!! I could probably say a whole lot more things that I love about this vacuum and the only thing I didn't love was how it doesn't stand up on it's own.. but no biggy, you can lean it somewhere, precariously.. Today I'm sad.. the battery lasted no time at all on the high mode, and having a dog, that was one of my the fav thing. on the medium mode, it's mediocre, seeing as I know what it CAN do.. I'm just recharging now, having to wait to do the last room of the house, the dogs room no doubt, and I'm going to need high mode.. it's just so disappointing I literally just got this thing yesterday, let it charge fully, and then I got to play around with it and all the extensions last night, cleaning my bedroom ceiling, the blinds, etc.. now on DAY 2 it lasted maybe 5 min on high mode.. and it was charged.. it takes a while to charge, don't even know if mine works? The bottom dot just flashes for ever, then after a while I look at it, and no lights are on so i disconnect the charger, put it back in, and nope still a blinking light… I'm so disappointed..Khrista

I received the IRIS Vacuum as a TryItFreeSample. I think it's the best thing I've ever gotten. Both my Husband and I had strokes and our son has to do the vacuuming for us. This vacuum makes it so easy to have you floor and carpet clean! It really works it collects all dust, hairs and every little speck of trash that’s on your floor. It has a medium suction level and a strong level I prefer to use the stronger level. I definitely recommend it for anyone whi hates sweeping this will do the job and it will make the chore be way easier it saves you a lot of time and definitely keeps floors bright and clean with no dust!Breann
