Best Cordless Wood Floor Vacuum (2023 Update)

Ok, look. Since I got this vacuum, I vacuum my house much more than I did before. Not to make myself look bad, but it's true. (Like, MUCH more.) This vacuum is lightweight! I don't break a sweat pushing it back and forth like I do with my old vacuum. (Anyone else? Just me?) I can carry it to the second floor, and back down, no problem. This vacuum is versatile! It's like 15 vacuums in one! Ok, exaggeration, but there are so many different ways to configure this thing. It's big! It's small! Now it's got a brush! Now a hose! With the multitude of attachments and configurations, I am able to vacuum under and behind my cast iron radiators with ease. WITH EASE!!! This vacuum can tilt and roll flat to vacuum under beds and couches and other low-to-the-ground things. This vacuum is cordless! Oh boy, I love this part! I can start in the living room, and make my way through every room on the first floor without stopping, just rolling that sucker (heehee) under, and behind, and through until it's time to do the second floor. It's bliss. This vacuum is easy to clean! I've made a habit of emptying the dust collector after each use, which is, quite literally, just pushing a button. (I also charge it after each use, so that my blissful run through the house isn't interrupted by a dead battery.) Once a week or so (…..or when I remember to), I disassemble the dust collector and clean each part right in my kitchen sink. Everything comes apart, and, more importantly, goes back together, pretty easily. I enjoy this vacuum so much, I have actually gushed about it to my friends. A perfect upgrade from my old stick vacuum. Better suction, more power, touch control, beautiful color. Stick attachment is extendable, battery is detachable and can be recharged separately. The top section has a touch panel and shows a bright status of battery. Dustbin can be easily emptied with just one button release. Came nicely packaged with multiple attachments and 2 filters! The Tineco Pure One S15 Flex stick vacuum is a good, everyday, household vacuum. It is lightweight and the suction power is good. It is versatile and very quiet. It will lay flat to clean under beds, sofas, and other furniture. It can be converted into a handheld vacuum with the included attachment tools and brushes to clean above floor surfaces, furniture, and car interiors. It has a nice looking, weighted base that charges the vacuum and holds the attachments. I have used it on our hardwood floors, carpets, and the tiles floors in our kitchen. It does a good job in all areas. The vacuum holds a charge for about 30 minutes. It has a large, easy to read LED display that shows battery level, vacuum malfunctions, vacuum power level, and the amount of dirt that you are vacuuming up. There is a LED ring on the display that will change from red to blue as the floor is cleaned. It really helps to give you the confidence that the floor is clean. The vacuum can also be connected to your WiFi network through a downloadable phone app for additional diagnostic information about the operation of the vacuum. The vacuum can be put in AUTO mode that adjusts the suction power, based on the amount dirt, dust, and debris that it is vacuuming up. You can also manually set the suction power level, but I typically leave in the AUTO mode because it gives me longer runtimes with good results. It is very easy to clean. You empty the dust bin with the press of one button. There is a removeable washable HEPA filter and it comes with an extra filter that can be used while the other filter is drying after it is washed. It has a LED lighted, no tangle brush head that doesn’t get built up with long hair. Overall, it is a really nice vacuum with many modern features. Review of Tineco Pure One S15 Flex Smart Stick Vacuum Tineco Pure ONE S15 Series is battery powered, smart and cordless category vacuum. Out of box it is easy to assemble, and start using right away. It doesn’t require major reading of the how to use manual except to understand some details. The package comes with handy number of accessories for different cleaning situation and convenience. For instance, it comes with the charging base where to park the vacuum with the tube or without it. Af for cleaning need, it includes 1. Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush 2. Mini power brush 3. 2-in-1 dusting brush 4.Cervice Tool 5.Soft Dusting brush 6. Flexible long service tool 7. Multi-angle folding tube 8. Flexible extension hose 9. Hair cleaning tool Battery Charging: To charge fully the battery, according to the manual it takes 3-4 hours. From the actual charging while the battery had 51%, to fully charge took about 1hour and half approximately to reach 100%. Now while it is charging, the display shows the status, and once fully charged, the screen goes totally off. Vacuuming Hard floor: Using Direct-drive anti tangle LED power brush, vacuuming is not bad, it is light enough to maneuver with one hand without getting tire easy. It can clean corners and edges without issues, and dusts get cleaned easily. The LED light serve as guide and able to notice dust as clean. Now, during hard floor cleaning, it is bit noisy though that comes form the brush side. Vacuuming Capet: It is quite similar to using on Hard Floor from removing dust perspective. The only big difference observed is less noisy with the same brush used for Hard Floor, Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush. Note on Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush: Vacuumed a spot with lot of hairs, and at least from the usage the hair doesn’t appear tangled, hence avoid spending time removing hearts from the brush. What does well: 1. Remove dust as expected 2. To vacuum, I don’t have to maintain the Power On/Off while working. It is press once to vacuum, preset again to stop. This seems good feature compared to others that need to hold the button while vacuuming adding stress to the hand on top of holding weight of the vacuum while vacuuming. 3. The battery is removal allowing to exchange or have second one ready and exchange. 4. Hair anti-tangle brush; hairs are not tangled helping to save time to remove it. 5. Dust sensor seems quite accurate as it turn red in Loop and becoming blue as clean/ 6. Auto mode seems to work accurately as accelerate where more dust is, and less where doesn’t. What I don’t like: 1. The noise from the brush while vacuuming hard floor 2. The dust bin is very limited capacity. As per its manual, its size is of 0/47L. Hence it is for short vacuuming or high frequency of emptying the bin for large work. 3. Hard to clean the bin as the dustbin cannot be removed or separated from the main vacuum body. Although it has mechanism via Dust Empty Release Button and Dust Empty Tab, there is remaining dust and hair stuck between Mesh Filter and Dustbin which need to cleaned by hand and it is hard to reach. 4.Charging with the base only possible with the tube. The base needs to be used only at the floor and cannot be used on alike table and charge directly form main body of the vacuum. 5. Unable to control the power of suction manually. Its Mode are only Auto, or Manual that only allow minimum 6. As vacuum, the display face toward the downside such hardly readable. The display include indicators and icons but as vacuuming it sort of redundant as hardly be interpreted immediately on the go. 7. While charging, the display face down so the reading of numbers and everything on it is reverse. So need to either remove from charging for correct reading from the vacuum, or from the app but that takes second device to reach out. 8. Using App feels bit redundant as couldn’t find usefulness while not using the vacuum, nor cannot use while vacuuming. In short, it is a handy vacuum for quick work, and good lasting battery for the same purpose with nice to have functions. But its downside I am not sure if justify the price.MigDigital

You will be treated to how extremely quite the S15 is. Even on MAX setting, the vacuum is quieter than any vac I have previously used. I think the Tineco "Auto" iLoop Smart sensor does a great job using the power it needs as it encounters floor debris. Although, Auto setting will yield the quietest and best battery life for all surfaces except carpet. I found the MAX setting was a better choice for thicker carpet. Just be ready as it says in the instructions, battery life on MAX will be about 10 minutes. On Auto I did get almost 24 minutes running around the house easily sucking up dust bunnies on hardwood and tile floors. The overall function of the S15 is very good. Suction is good on AUTO and better on MAX despite the hit to battery power. Its easy to empty and even has a slider to help scrape the interior to keep you from touching dirt. And maybe best of all. You pull the trigger to start the vac and it stays on till you pull the trigger again. Tineco even allows you to easily disassemble the filters and dust bin to rinse all the parts to maintain a near new suction after you start using the vac. Just don't forget to check the filter above the handle (magnetic cap) and not just the filter in the dust bin. While Tineco included every possible dusting brush, crevice tool and secondary brush head, and a weighted base to hold most of it. I hope they give consideration to adding a second battery to the kit. I know the S15 Flex is not meant to replace a full size vacuum. Yet, if you have lots of thicker carpet. The extra battery would be very handy to have on hand. Or double the capacity of the included battery.JinOH

The Shark Wandvac System Ultra-Lightweight Powerful Cordless Stick Vacuum is exactly what I was looking for. This vacuum has a weight of just 2.1 pounds making it elite among lightweight vacuums. It comes with a portable charger base that can go about anywhere. The Shark Wandvac has incredible suction that makes it above all others. It will clean a huge mess then with just a click of a button be emptied. It does have a nice feature for power boost for when you need even better suction. The best part is that it can do all types of floors from hard wood to deep carpets. And it has a self cleaning brushroll to keep hair from wrapping around it. I live with a full family or kids and animals so it gets it's use. I highly recommend this vacuum for it's quality and amazing price point.Chrisarpin8912

Assembly was very easy. Better yet, the assembly instructions are right on the flap where you'll likely open the box. I liked this touch as opposed to using extra paper to include information that – honestly – most will ignore unless they run into trouble. Assembly was easy and took about 2-minutes and no tools were needed. There is a charging mat/base that uses a proprietary plug. The charging base has rubber feet, so there's no worries of it moving around the floor even when the vacuum isn't on it charging. What I like most is that the vacuum "hooks" onto the vertical rod on the charging base so making sure it's charging correctly is a no-brainer! The full vacuum itself is light weight and maneuvers exceptionally well. It's sucking power is also pretty good. Picking up small debris was great, but picking up large debris with the floor vacuum was often inconsistent. The handheld attachment picked up all sizes of debris quite well. Switching to the more mobile handheld attachment is easy and does not require you touching the end piece. Just pull the release pull and it will release the current attachment, from there, align the new attachment, lightly push until you hear a click and you're good to go. No bending required. This was a nice touch! Now for the 2 things I didn't like. From a complete dead battery, it takes about 4hours to fully charge but with a full charge I was only able to obtain about 20-25 minutes of use. That means this vacuum is only for small messes and vacuuming a couch. There is a 3-light system giving you an idea of the current charge. The second thing I'm not fond of is emptying the trash capsule. When the release button is pressed, the container holding the trash springs open. In my first few uses, each instance I went to empty the trash container resulted in me making a mess which I'd have to re-vacuum or sweep. This can be a bit annoying. The best feature with the vacuum is how it breaks down for storage. The top portion can be disconnected and connected to the bottom floor vacuum portion to cut the overall height in half. This is great for storing the device into a height sensitive area. But ultimately, for small messes, this is a pretty nice vacuum. But if you're looking for something to vacuum your entire home, this is likely not the product for you.theonlyBuster

This is not the most perfect cordless vacuum but if you know its shortcomings and are ok with them, it may very well be. Cons: battery life – about 15 mins in handheld mode and 12 in upright mode with the roller head. Dust bin – small, will need to empty a few times in a single vaccuming session, but depends on how dirty your place is. Cost – I got it on sale but still thought it was on the expensive side. Suction power – in handheld mode it's not super powerful, but enough to pick up the everyday debris. Pros: easy to use – It's strange but I actually vacuum a lot more frequently now after buying this. Probably because it's so easy to use and so handy. It's lightweight so it's easy to use one handed and the roller head has good maneuverability. Removable battery – I listed this as a con before if you only have 1 battery. I ended up buying a spare one with a charger and solved the issue. 25-30 mins of runtime is more than enough for my use. Hardwood floor performance – in handheld mode it's not super powerful, but adding the roller head makes a big difference in pickup power! Works really well and the hairs don't get tangled up. Design – it's probably one of the nicer designs on the market, if this is something you care about. Overall, if you can manage the battery life and the dust bin, and know it's limitations, you will love this handy vacuum. It will not replace a big upright vacuum or manage a home with lots of carpeted areas, but excels for apartments or smaller homes with mostly hardwood floor. Notes: the actual color of the vacuum is not like in the pictures, it's more of a grey color with a tint of blue. I think they call it Grey Slate. Also, you can take out the "cyclone" part from the dust bin, by opening the hinge with a little bit of force and it'll open to 90 degrees. I just received this yesterday and couldn't wait to get started. I only lightly cleaned one small room (hardwood floors & area rug). and it was out of juice. When I turned it on, sometimes the rollers would turn on and sometimes they would not. The red light meaning it was jammed came on the first time and I had not even used it yet. This occurred other times so I had to turn it off and restart it to get the rollers started again. It took additional time and energy to get the job done. It was great on hardwood floors (when it ran). I do like the concept of the two rollers so I might just return this cordless for a corded model.pefry

Works ok for cleaning up small messes, but really isn’t necessary if you have a regular vacuum, or even just a decent handheld one. It claims it’s good for “40 minutes of runtime”, and maybe it was the first couple of times we used it. I don’t remember. For the most part, I was lucky to get 10 mins out of it before the battery died, or it started to overheat and just shut off. I typically only used it on our upstairs bedrooms/hallway, since the only other vacuum was a Roomba we keep downstairs. But now that we have a regular corded vacuum, and a handheld one for furniture small spills, I just don’t see the point in getting it out, letting it charge for an hour, then trying to speed vacuum as much area as I can in 10 min before it stops working. I have to start by saying that I vacuum 5/7 days a week, if not MORE because I have 2 toddlers, one with a horrible dust and dust mite allergy. We are on a strict budget and so we saved awhile to buy this beauty. I vacuumed this morning with my old dirt devil and vacuumed again when the Shark arrived. I filled 2 canisters of dirt and dust and I have only done the downstairs, I was shocked to see how much my old vacuum was missing. This thing is amazing! It sucks up more dirt even after I’ve vacuumed with my Shark! Now I’m finally able to shampoo my carpet without accumulating dust bunnies in my shampooer. It even works great on my kitchen floor. Best vacuum I’ve owned due to its lightweight material and excellent performance. It sucks up pet hair and long hair without getting tangled in the vacuum. It can reach and turn in a wide range of directions. The only down sides are that its power trigger must be held at all times to keep the power on. However, you can buy an attachment on Amazon to keep the power on without having to hold the trigger. Also, for some reason, I can’t consistently easily detach the canister from the wand. Might take practice. It has user friendly and simple instructions to get started. Cordless is the way to go! Note I haven’t used any of the accessories yet except for a pet hair groomer that I bought separately and that worked great.Christina

Owned homes for 45 years, probably as many vacs, because I'd buy new ones because the newest and greatest latest vacs weren't so great! Years ago I tried Dyson and Shark. Shark destroyed my rug. When I tried Dyson- the Upright Animal, I knew that was it, my search was over. I added the Upright Compact When the Stick came out- that was it! NO MORE CORDS! I still have the Uprights, but they're barely used, though still working fantastically. I'll pass them on to someone. BUT THE STICK IS AMAZING. I can do my entire 4 level split SINGLE multi room-4 bed, 3 bath, playroom, basement, fam and liv room, sunroom, with various types of flooring: area rugs, hardwood, slate, LVPlanks, tile, and animals, grandchildren,. I've never run out of battery, I use low or medium, mostly medium. . My first V10 was $700. It was worth it, by the time I bought a vac every year or 2, the cost was as much as the Dyson, and they weren't the power nor built as well- those awful belts, bags, etc., constantly taking part for hair, string, removal. If you're on the fence, or deciding between this and the V8 at $50 less(though still a good vac), this is the better deal at $150 off with larger bin, better suction, 3 speed modes, battery status. Pros: Lightweight and very easy to manoeuvre. Small enough to store away easily, replaced my 10 year old dyson, was unsure if it would be powerful enough going from a corded to cordless, not disappointed! Great suction, 3 settings if you want to preserve battery charge. Very good all round, brought as a hoover for car/caravan with a view to maybe fully replace old dyson if good enough. More than good enough for the smaller home as a full charge is about 20 mins run on medium setting. Recommended Cons: Length of charge may not be suited to larger homes or looking to deep clean on high setting (you really won't need to often setting 2 is plenty for general day to day vacuuming) worth pointing out a full charge on high setting lasts 6 mins! Again more than enough for day to day users or for a quick whizz around. To use it it has a trigger (like a lawn mower and hold down), which not an issue for me but may hinder if you have mobility issues. Not really a big deal but when picking the unit up you also grab the trigger inadvertently and start the machine 🙂Jessica

The item was bought as a gift. The first one arrived and I wrapped it and gave to my mother and when she opened it and took it out of the box, the item had been used. It was dirty and had "trash" in the suction holder. I sent it back and got another one and the suction does not pick up like the video shows. I was very disappointed in this item. I purchased it for my 73 year old mom so she would not have to bend over to sweep the dust/trash into the dust pan. I was really hoping this item would be a happy solution for not bending over but it was not.Dorie

Horribly designed product. A waste of money! I am taking time to give a review. I bought for $30 at local store. Looked great as don't have to bend to sweep. Well, the suction is a little shoot off side of broom very awkwardly placed and it only suctions if you push down really hard on the shoot and suctions only that little dime sized section at a time. IT RUINED MY FLOORING tiles PUTTING AN INDENTED DART INTO IT! THIS IS A HORRIBLY DESIGNED PRODUCT. Positive: the broom sweeps like any $5 broom. DO NOT RECOMMEND! The product can be improved with suction within the actual broom section like a vacuum or finger button to suction at top with a larger suction funnel. Do Not waste your money!kelley

I purchased this out of a need due to physical challenges. The weight is about 1/2 gallon of milk well made materials. Suction is amazing and easy to operate … no need for push down on device to activate the suction … battery life is amazing . The weight of the broom and thickness of the handle give assurance. My whole family is impressed with this product. Having lower back issues some movements are difficult but consistently bending is my pet p ! No more of that and handle is decided no loosing and slim built to put in area of houseware not bunky … there is so much more to say but I will say it is reasonable price and worth every dollar … good job to the designers ☺️gypsirulez

I was surprised how much I love this vacuum. It’s lightweight, easy to use and I love the blue color. It’s cordless and easy to move from room to room. It’s quiet and doesn’t bother the kids, they even like helping me push it around. The bottom brush spins automatically and gives the feel of self propulsion. I find that very helpful but you do run into resistance if you pull the vacuum towards you, like a back and forth motion. Normal amount of catching the edge of rugs…which will stop the spinning brush and you’ll need to flip the power off and back on to start again. Haven’t had anything completely wrapped around the brush causing issues though. So the spinning brush stopping is like a safety stop. I like these attachments much better than traditional attachments. No more awkward flexible hose. They attach straight to the handle/motor and you can easily lift it above your head to clean high spots. Mostly I use the edge attachment for small crevices. The optional Boost trigger is great when cleaning gaps in the floorboards. The battery charges in about 3 hours from completely empty, will last for a week+, depending on usage. The AC adaptor charger plugs into the top of the handle. The battery life indicator is on the side and not very noticeable. Not an issue though. Easy to clean by pulling the latch to let the dirt fall into the trash. Also easy and self explanatory to do a deep clean and rinse the dirt compartment and filters with water. It came packaged in biodegradable paper wrap instead of traditional plastic which I liked. Easy to assemble and read the instructions. Must be stored detached from the upright stick, otherwise it’s top heavy and will fall.JessieJess

I bought this because we have a ferral toddler and I wanted something easy for quick clean ups. I've used it for that, my car, her carseat, cleaning out cabinets and drawers and my hard floors when I'm too lazy to use the broom. So far I have not been dissapointed. I will say, for the most part, the fins on the roll do pretty good at keeping hair from getting tangled in the brush roll. (there are 3 of us with long hair that shed like huskies, so that's pretty impressive.) Easter grass is still undefeated though, but it was easy to remove. Doesn't work well for popcorn (it clogs), but does pretty good with cereal and barbie shoes. I do wish the dust cup was a little bigger. Also, the dirt tends to cling to the top of the cup, so when I empty it, I either have to reach my hand in and pull it loose or beat my trashcan with the dust cup like it owes me money. Overall, worth the price paid.Annie

The Shark Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum is surprisingly powerful when it comes to suction! I like that this is cordless, allowing me to use it in places where cords are an inconvenience! It's a stick vacuum, so it's quite lightweight but it's a bit top heavy since it's not an upright vacuum. This vacuum comes with several attachments– a crevice tool with a small opening for tight areas, and a dusting brush for upholstery, furniture, and smaller areas. What I like about this vacuum is that you can slide the heavier motor and dust cup down for free-standing storage after use so it doesn't tip over. Due to the good suction, it is able to capture dust and debris more effectively than many other cordless vacuums I've used in the past, which is good for a person who has year-round allergies like me. Although it does say that the battery can run for 40 minutes in standard mode, I prefer running the vacuum on extra power mode, and that significantly reduces the run time to about half. The dust cup is bagless and has quite a large capacity for a stick vacuum like this one. What I noticed about this cordless pet stick vacuum is that it's missing an important design feature that my main upright Shark vacuum has, and that is a self-cleaning brush roll that prevents long hairs from getting caught onto the brush roll. This one does not have this feature so I feel that I have to dock a point because maintenance of the brush roll and having to go in with a pair of scissors to cut off rolled up hairs caught on the roller is a pain. I also would appreciate it if Shark included an extra battery pack or something because it takes quite a while for the battery to charge after it runs out. There is also no convenient attachment storage to keep all your attachments in one place. Overall, this is an good cordless vacuum regardless of some of the cons I've mentioned. It doesn't have the best battery life, and I really think if you have a long-haired pet, to look for a vacuum with a self-cleaning brush roll that prevents hair tangling. I bought my dad one of these because it's difficult for him to bend over, but he still likes to keep his floors clean. The vacuum doesn't have much suction power with the rolling floor attachment, but I like the stability the attachment provides. It will pick up grass, leaves, and small dirt that gets tracked in, although sometimes you have to go over the spot more than once. With the floor attachment removed, the vac works fine, with adequate suction to pick up kitty litter, pet kibble, bugs, pretty much the usual stuff you need a hand vac for. The long handle makes it great for high and low corner cleaning, although you need some wrist strength if you're going to be doing ceilings or hard-to-reach high places. I have been satisfied with the battery life. With this vac, you trade a little suction power for a lithium battery that lasts through several cleanings before needing a recharge. My only issue is that the charger holes are tiny and it's finicky to plug in to the vac unit. One complaint: I bought one for myself and use it mostly for the kitty litter room. Maybe it's the dust, but the on/off switch on mine has become very stiff and difficult to operate. The switch on my dad's unit is still working okay, though his arthritis makes him not love this switch, either. We've been through 2-3 stick vacs so far, and this has been the most successful of them. Our main use is for around our cat's litter box. Even though it's a covered box, she somehow still gets most of the litter outside the opening and then tracks it around the living room. For this reason we keep a stick vac charging next to the litter box so we can touch up after litter changes. Here's the problem; stick vacs tend to suck up the litter into the tube and then drop a bunch of it again once you release the suction. It gets worse over time as the filter gets clogged up, but in the past this kept happening even with a fresh vacuum. This one, on the other hand, is a keeper! There are three levels of suction and the highest is extremely powerful and pulls the litter into the chamber enough to keep most of it from falling back out. The pre-filter does start to get clogged fairly fast (cat litter is a vacuum torture test, so I won't hold it against them!) so it requires rinsing and drying every couple washes. Luckily it's really easy to remove and clean. Emptying is simple, just dangle the chamber over the garbage can and pop the latch and the bottom drops along with the dust. Pretty standard as far as stick-vacs go. Assembly pretty much requires plugging the components into each other and charging. It came with a nice hanging station that holds the vacuum and the tools, but I haven't used it. There's no plave for me to hang it in that area, so I don't use it. I did notice that the run time is considerably shorter on the highest setting than the lowest (which makes sense!) but since we're mostly using this in a small area for quick cleanups. The litter box is on carpet, but we've used this on out hardwood floors adjacent to the room with the same success. If you have cats, I would highly recommend giving this vacuum a try. I would also recommend it for similar messes, like sand if you live in a beach area.Nerdninja

Unpacking – everything was nicely organized and on the box there were instructions for quick set up. As soon as I unpacked I plugged in the battery pack and charged it to full capacity. It took almost 3hrs to fully charge. Assembly – Instructions were very easy to follow. I connected the dusting head first because I wanted to clean the baseboards and do some edging. As soon as the battery pack was fully charged I connected and turned it on first to low speed. It wasn't picking up the dust bunnies so I increased the speed to max speed. I timed it at high speed and the battery lasted for only 11 minutes, which was disappointing. I had to stop and recharge the battery and wait another 3hrs until fully charged. I ended up using my corded vacuum to finish cleaning. Next day after charging I connected the floor vacuum head to check out how well the vacuum would work on hardwood floors and dog hair. I must admit that I was impressed because I started off at low speed and increased to middle speed. Battery life lasted for 18 minutes which was pretty decent, I was able to vacuum under the table and the kitchen, as well as do some edging. I loved how it picked up the dog hair and the best thing is the LED lighting so you can see the dirt picked up after going over the sections.some areas I had to go over twice at low speed. Accessories – I do like the wall kit because you were able to attach to the wall and it had places for all the attachments so you don't lose anything. Another cool thing is that you can charge it while connected to the wall so you don't have to remove the battery to charge. Another feature that I was impressed with is how clean the canister and HEPA filter was after picking up a lot of the dog hair. It wasn't dusty or very dirty, I opened the canister over the garbage and it drop out and I helped remove some of the hair but overall the canister did not smell of the dog hair like my other vacuum after vacuuming. The weight of the vacuum varied with attachments. I found it to require two hands when using the dusting attachment. It would be great if it was lighter. When using the floor attachment the one great thing is how the head articulates and I was able to vacuum under the beds no issues with reaching. Overall, the reason why I gave it 3 stars was because the battery life was short and you had to have it on high in order to dust edging. When using the floor attachment the dirt picked up however I had to lift it sometimes to pick up a piece of dog kibble because the head is low to the ground. This is a positive because there were no issues with picking up the dog hair which is why I would recommend this vacuum to dog owners. I would recommend purchasing additional battery packs so there is no down time when cleaning. I would recommend this cordless stick vacuum for pet owners for quick cleaning on the couch and quick floor clean ups. If you are considering this as your only vacuum then I highly recommend purchasing additional battery packs.Olive

The Tineco PWRHERO 11 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum came with the following items. Main handheld vacuum Tube Anti-tangle LED Power Brush Mini Power Brush 2-in-1 Dusting Brush Crevice Tool Wall Mounted Dock Battery Charger Manual Assembly was fairly easy although I got a little confused with which end goes where when putting together the tube and attaching it into the main body. The battery is removable and charging the battery took a little over 4 hours to fully charge. For my first test run, I decided to use the anti-tangle LED Power Brush and was able to vacuum my living room and upstairs bedrooms and hallway on one charge at a Low Power setting. The vacuum was very light and comfortable to use. The battery is supposed to last about 35/19/12 minutes at low/med/high power settings. There seems to be light indicators on the battery to indicate its charge level but I didn’t see any lights so I didn’t know how much charge was left after my vacuuming session. I found emptying the dustbin and cleaning the filters very easy to do. You just click on the dustbin release button and the bottom lid pops open to empty the contents. Even at the lowest power setting, I felt the suction power was more than satisfactory for cleaning my carpet. In fact, out of my other two cordless vacuums, I think this provides the strongest suction power. Another thing I noticed is that it is extremely quiet compared to my other vacuums (both cordless and corded). It is so quiet that you might think it isn’t doing a very good job at cleaning but when you empty the dustbin, you are immediately reassured that it did a great job by how much dust it has collected. I have never heard of Tineco before but I am very impressed with the PWRHERO 11 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum. The vacuum cleaner has an attractive design, feels well built and is light and comfortable to use. Hopefully, it will also prove to be very reliable in the long run. I will definitely pay attention to the Tineco brand in the future. I think this is an excellent value. The interchangeable batteries, the many attachments and the light weight of this vacuum is the only positives. This is my first cordless vacuum so I am not an expert but this is my observations after 1.5 months of using it. While I will say the hard floor power head works great for exactly that I must say the multi surface power head is terrible. After vacuuming a single 5’x7’ rug, the light goes red, the roller stops, and it needs to be cleaned. It’s not like we have a lot of hair in our house, just myself and my partner, as our dog does not shed at all. To clarify it comes with two full sized motor heads. One for hard floors (this one is great and hair doesn’t get caught in it at all) and one for carpet and hard floors (this multipurpose one gets a lot of hair caught in no time at all and will stop working until you take it apart and clean it) Canadian Tire does not offer returns on vacuums once you’ve tested them which I somewhat understand but it’s also a nuisance and it something that may hinder me from buying one from them in the future. If we hadn’t bought this vacuum on sale 50% off I would be quite upset. This vacuum feels very cheaply made. If you are looking for a cheap vacuum for hard floors then this one will do a decent job. Opening up the box, this was very simple to put together without the use of instructions. It only has a handful of pieces that easily snap together. My immediate reaction was how topheavy it is- and NOT freestanding on it's own, which is a slight disappointment. This seems to be the norm with cordless stick vacuums. I do wish they'd find a way to allow them to stand, so you don't have to prop them up against a wall and hope they don't fall when moving something n the midst of vacuuming, picking up a toy you don't want sucked up, etc. After using this for some time, I can say that it certainly is not my favorite vacuum. Here are my main thoughts: I love that it is cordless and can't imagine plugging a vacuum into a wall after using this, but the battery life doesn't last very long and it's a bit annoying to always be charging this. It only comes with one battery, so you can't be charging one and using one- and they are VERY expensive to purchase from Hoover. It isn't easy to empty. We have a home full of pets so this very quickly gets filled up with hair, and it's not as simple as just opening the base and dumping it out. I have to reach my hand in and pull clumps of hair from the tiny crevices of the device. The topheaviness is really an issue. I can't tell you how many times I've propped this up against the wall, only for it to fall and scare everyone in the house to bits. Has an "extra" suction feature that is so loud its unbearable to use. There is truly no need for the volume to be amplified by 20 when using this feature. After only using for a few months, the bottom brush/roller is so tangled in hair that I need to take a pair of scissors to it soon, but am dreading it. I wish it sucked up this hair rather than tangling it in the roller. All in all, it gets the job done, but in your search for the perfect vacuum to spend your hard earned money on, I'd pass this one up.Courtney

When I first purchased this vacuum the battery died after 12 uses. Since it was under warranty I got a new battery. These batteries though are 3Ah. In order to vacuum my living room/dining room and kitchen though I must recharge two of these 3Ah batteries. A 3Ah battery takes me 4 hours to recharge but lasts 15-20 minutes depending on the setting you have it on i.e.CARPET or ECO etc. On another day I can then have them fully recharged to then do the kitchen/hallway or other small rooms. Therefore you MUST have two of these batteries. If you spend $300 on two 4Ah batteries you could do a condo sized apartment (1000 square feet in my case). Therefore the onus of technology improvement for the batteries falls on Hoover and they should thus charge less for these batteries. The cordless technology is nowhere near where it should be and for that reason I cannot recommend it to my friends with would prefer central vac and they are mostly in houses not condos. I always use the less draining ECO function on the vacuum and get 20 minutes out of each 3Ah battery. I believe two 4Ah batteries are sufficient for 1000 sq foot space to get done without needing to recharge them though but $300 for those batteries is like buying another high end vacuum cleaner.SD

This did not work after a couple days. It was just spitting the dirt back out into the floor in a different spot. It does not work like the old moosoo. My old moosoo still works great, but I needed to because the battery life wasn’t so great on the old one but this new one did have a good battery or a slightly better one. Other than that this one is nowhere near as good as the one I bought last year I was very disappointed in this, it’s nice that swivels around, but it still doesn’t pick up like the old one and the light on it is very dim when compared to last year’s mooso vaccum it was the white one this vacuum seemed sturdier, but it just doesn’t work. I’m returning this I have to have something that works. I absolutely hate returning things to the store but in this case I have too because I definitely need something that I can depend on. This is just waste my time and then I have to wait on a refund so I can get another one of a different type.Cheryl

I purchased this cordless stick vacuum online through Walmart.com this past Christmas. I was my first experience with a cordless vacuum of my own. That being stated. I love this vacuum. It gets the job done using two different power settings depending on the amount of dirt you are picking up. It is very versatile and light to carry. It's ability to seperate into a smaller handheld vacuum is very convenient in small tight spaces. I like that it has all the desirable features that one would look for on a stick. First its cordless (the battery charges superfast) and can be charged connected to the vacuum for easy access, or seperated and charged on say.. a desk or counter top. I like that it does have a ball joint and pivots seamlessly in any direction you steer it into (makes getting into those tight corners easy). It also has a very bright L.E.D. panel on the front of the roller brush attachment (for floors). It has a good amount of battery life. I believe its 45 minutes? Though I can't remember the last time I vacuumed for 45 minutes straight. It always gets the job done without dying on me. It also comes with a wall mount hook you can install wherever you prefer to store your cleaning supplies. This comes in really handy as my roommate had an alternative branded vacuum that didn't have this and was always falling over (stick vacuums are typically top heavy). I would recommend purchasing the upgraded version of this vacuum that comes with additional hardware if you are a person who enjoys vacuuming (as I do). It does come in handle when you wanna vacuum additional places such as your vehicle upholstery or furniture. My overall consensus is that while its definitely not as powerful as a $700 stick vacuum. I had such high hopes for this vacuum based on the reviews. I was extremely disappointed. Though it's light weight, easy to use and picks up A LOT of dirt.. that's about all it will pick up. I have toddlers who find it humorous to smash crackers into the floors (carpet and hardwood). this vacuum picks up the finer pieces, but the tails of a goldfish for example and swept into the roller, and spun all the way to the left, missing the suction tube, and spit back out when the vacuum is pulled back for another pass. This was my experience on carpet and on tile. The roller doesn't seem long enough (bristles) or it spins too fast, but it can't even pick up when is in the shallow grout line. I have to clean the mesh piece and filter after every use too. I will say I loved the weight of this, the battery life was fairly decent for what it is, and the ease of being able to switch lengths was great.Brooke

I've been using this product for a little over a month. My first initial reaction was that this product is just okay. A few weeks later my feelings haven't changed. First thing I noticed was that the battery life isn't great. On regular mode I can get the entire house (minus one carpeted room that's about 120 sqft or so) vacuumed and still have a some battery life left. Our house is about 1500 sqft. What I really dislike is that on the max suction mode the battery lasts about seven to 10 minutes on a full charge. I understand that it is high battery usage but on heavy cleaning and dusting days this is frustrating. After a regular vacuuming session I have to wait another five hours for this thing to fully charge just to use it another few minutes in order to get dusting done which is extremely inconvenient. If Dyson would have made it with the option to work while on the charger / still plugged in it would have made ALL of the difference. I haven't used it on the one room in our house that is carpeted and I honestly don't know if that is even possible with any of the connections. It didn't come with a user manual like all other products electronic products that I have purchased. It did have a sheet that gave you a link to an online user manual but I am more of a paper in my face type of person. I have having to click through links to find what I need. It does come with quite a few connectible pieces. I don't really know what the difference between a few of them are or what they're even called but I haven't had any issues using them so no complaints with those. The item itself is extremely convenient and easy to use. I REALLY wish that it came with maybe a retractable chord to plug in when the batter life isnt sufficient. I have been a Dyson owner since early 2005 (I still have that one and it still works). I was using the Dyson V7 Animal until my wife purchased this upgraded one for me. Right away, I could feel and see the difference! With 2 children, a large dog (that never stops shedding), and my wife and I, keeping our house clean is nearly impossible. The Dyson V8 Animal Pro has been amazing and extremely helpful! I only have 3 general complaints about it, which stop me from giving it a 5 Star Review. First, the container becomes full very quickly and having to empty it so often is a little annoying (I know the newer models have addressed that). Second, the stick portion is a little short for taller people like me and I don’t think that adding a second stick would function well not be practical; this causes me to have to lean over while vacuuming, which means my back starts aching. Third, a lack of accessories! There are more attachment tools for my V7 than my newer V8. More directly, there doesn’t seem to be a hard floor attachment option. I have checked their website, but there are no hard floor tools offered for this vacuum (Dyson V8 Animal Pro). I would be particularly interested in the tool that worked on both the carpet and hard floors. Other than that, I really do love this little vacuum.DaBear

This is the second Dyson I have owned. The previous one I purchased at a retailer that offered an extended warranty for purchase. The vacuum stopped working shortly after the Dyson two year warranty. The extended warranty company was great. We sent the vacuum to them and they determined they could not repair it and refunded the entire amount that we paid for the vacuum. The second one we purchased at Costco and they did not offer the extended warranty, but talked us into purchasing because they would take back if we had any problems. Well once again right after the two year Dyson warranty has expired, the vacuum is not working correctly again. Pretty sure Costco won't take back after two years, although I will also complain to them. They are a great vacuum, just a lot of expense for something that lasts only two years. I hope some of the other companies venturing into cordless stick vacuums become successful because I don't want to keep buying a vacuum that does not last.K Wood

Bon produit mais se décharge très vite et mets du temps à charger. Ne désincruste pas les taches. Ne passe pas sur les moquettes et tapis. Le compartiment à eau se vide également très très vite, il faut racheter un produit tineco et il est cher.Linda

J'adore le concept de cet appareil qui me fait gagner du temps au quotidien, bien qu'il faille le nettoyer à chaque utilisation, ce qui est un peu fastidieux. Cependant, le mien semble avoir un problème technique, la partie moteur se détache toute seule pendant le nettoyage car elle est mal clipsée dans l'appareil… J'espère que le SAV Tineco sera à la hauteur !luzeme
