I have found a great product that works on my crepey skin. This product does work great on my skin. It leaves my skin soft and SMOOTH. The crepey is 99% gone. I just started using it. I expect 100% no crepey skin after I use it for a few more weeks. I didn't think anything would work this well for crepey skin but it does. I highly recommend this product. I purchased this cream on 8/23/2022 from Walmart for $11.97. I was really hoping that someone finally developed such a cream at an affordable price that all women could use. It stated that you would have "visible" improvement in just 2 days. After religiously using the product for 2 weeks, it has changed absolutely nothing. My skin is still the same. I would have been somewhat satisfied if there was some improvement but there was NONE. If anything I found the cream to be too thick and filmy – it was not being absorbed well by the skin cells. I would really like my money refunded back to me. I still have the Walmart receipt and will gladly send back what is left in the bottle as long as Gold Bond sends me the mailing label.RC Palm Coast FL

I am truly amazed that this Gold Bond Crepe Corrector works! I will be 52 later this year and my hands look older than my face. I have bony, veiny hands. This started about 5 years ago but my hands were always thin-skinned, so now they have lost their elasticity and were looking crepey. I had only used the product on my hands and forearms a total of 3 times when I started noticing the skin tightening up. The tightening helps to hide the veins and boniness, but it's not completely hidden. It has made a noticeable difference. Now I'm using the lotion on my neck and any areas that concern me to help tighten those areas. I came to the Walmart site to make a purchase of 2 of these just in case they discontinue it. That happens to me so much when I love a product. I know writing an honest review can help keep this miracle worker on the store shelves. It is quite thick but it absorbs nicely. I don't care for it on my palm sides so much. I use my fave lotion on my palms/ undersides. I put the Gold Bond on the backs of my hands and up my forearms overnight and wake up to younger hands. Normally, this product is superb and definitely works but the quality of the cream has been degraded and is very sloppy. The container it comes in is totally unsuitable if the grade of cream remains as it is and it should have a pump fitted as you can no longer use your fingers to remove the cream from the tub without it dripping everywhere. Also, due to the substantial change in the quality the cream doesn't seem to have the same affect on my skin. I would say it's like the cream has been watered down to make it go further for the same money. I would rather use a thicker cream and continue with the tub format but I will not renew with this supplier if the consistency remains the same.lisapearce090564

I have used this product for many years. It completely absorbs into the skin to keep the skin soft, but is NOT greasy and will NOT transfer to fabrics or paper once it has absorbed into the skin (which it does rapidly). I have even touched paper or fabric before the product was completely absorbed, and it never left a greasy spot. It was commonly sold in fabric stores when I first began to buy it. I use it on my hands every morning and evening and before and after I have worked with fabrics or paper. Even my fingernails (which were always flimsy and cracked) look better now. I am sensitive to perfumes and harsh chemicals, and this product has NEVER bothered my skin. It used to be sold as "udder cream" but don't let that put you off the product. It is wonderful.BAH46

Liquid- soup like cream. Does not work whatsoever. My mom needs this for chemo (her hands get painful) and this cream only works when it's the proper condition. We have received several orders that were soup like and her treatments have even been delayed due to this (this cream is the only thing that helps when it's in proper condition).Micca

I heard great reviews about Vanicream and I meant to buy the lighter version, but instead got this. I imagine this is great for sensitive and very dry skin. I tested it on my hand and realized no way was I putting this on my face so I been using it as a body lotion. I have oily acne-prone skin. This is a super thick cream that eventually soaks in but it is difficult to spread unless you have damp skin. This tub lasted me months and I stubbornly used this because I couldn't return it and did not want the product to go to waste. This has no fragrance but you can smell the ingredients used to make this so I ended up mixing it with a scented lotion because I could not stand the medicinal smell. Overall, this did keep my body moisturized and did not break me out, but the medicinal smell and the super thick texture made me not enjoy this. The pump was nice to use until I got closer to the bottom, and was forced to scoop out the product with my hand. I would not recommend this unless you are severely sensitive. For everyone else I would avoid this, and use something that you find easy to apply and enjoy the scent.jess.s

First, I have to say that the Vanicream company is the most consistent in quality, simplicity, non-reactive ingredients, and effectiveness. There are no bad products in this line, and this cream is a stellar workhorse. It does the job – doesn't announce its presence with a scent or color, doesn't grease you up too much, and doesn't leave you wanting more. I use it on all of my skin. This is the perfect, consistent, basic cream – nothing fancy – but everything you need in a moisture cream. This cream is very basic, no fragrance added, white in color, but it leaves the skin so supple and soft. I prefer this over the Cerave Moisturizing Cream because Cerave is quite waxy-feeling compared to this, Vanicream is a bit thicker and leaves a tacky feeling on the skin, like it formed a nice occlusive barrier but is somehow now overly greasy or heavy. I love to apply it on damp skin after cleansing my face. Since I switched moisturizers, I now get so many compliments on how my skin is glowing. I also noticed that my face is softer and has less breakouts. It's also amazing for the body too. I don' think I'll ever stop using this product.janel.g

If your skin is irritated by most every lotion or eczema product, or the texture of lotion is bothering your kiddo, you could try this ointment. We often use it alone on really dry irritated eczema patches, or sometimes on top of another product. It never stings and doesn’t irritate. Seems to hold in moisture but doesn’t actually moisturize. So at first I was apprehensive about buying yet another product sight unseen and untested but before I was to even consider something more intensive like laser surgery to brighten my intimate parts I thought I’d try this as one last hurrah. I'm in my mid 30s and was beginning to have the lines/crepiness on the backs of my hands that really irritated me. I use this nightly and my hands look 10 years younger. I have noticed some long term improvement as well. The lotion is thick and heavy when you put it on, but it absorbs within 2 minutes. I've replaced my neck cream with this for that very reason. One thing to note is that the scent is neutral to slightly strange. This doesn't bother me at all, as it goes away within moments and this lotion works better than any I've ever tried.laura.m

I love Perricone products, and this is one of the best ones I've tried! I already use several in the cold plasma + line, but needed something for the raw, crepey skin i was getting on my chest. I bought this before seeing they have a neck and chest cream, but I am so happy with this cream I'm glad for the mix up! In just one use i had seen a marked improvement in the texture, tone, and firmness of the skin on my upper chest. With a few uses I am seeing the deep creases that ran across my chest diminish and my skin actually feels more comfortable in that area. It looks younger, too! This is the best lotion! I first found it at Ross. I wasnt sure about using it on my face, but Im so glad I did! It soaks into your skin readily, so you can apply makeup right away. It leaves a pretty sheen on your face. AND, it helps a lot with wrinkles! But, not only that, it really lightens up your age spots until you cant even see them anymore! I picked up this product along with Cereve Resurfacing Retinol Serum at ulta. I actually got it for a friend with thinning skin that's prone to scabbing. After two days of using this on my face even my hands began to heal, from painful splitting due to dry skin. My face has had open wounds, they began at the end of my lips. They hadn't healed completely in almost a year. This was after applying triple antibiotic cream all day! I really can't tell what it's done to my normal skin tissue but it's cleared up my splitting, cracking painful skin issues. Even with blood transfusions nothing helped completely heal my lips or fingertips. I was sleeping in medicated Band-Aids and nothing. For the first time in almost a year I can touch my lips without it hurting. I do realize that if I discontinue usage my skin will probably start splitting again but I'm not spending hundreds of dollars either. I accidentally got this thinking it’s a face cream. Apparently, most people use this on their body. However, I was in need for facial moisturizer and I had hopes for the ingredients in this cream to work on my acne, so I tried it on my face. I’ve only tried it for a day, but the cream is kinda in a solid form, unlike the lotion version. But it does melt on the skin and goes on rather smoothly. It does have somewhat oily feeling on the skin, but I can feel that it’s keeping moisture in my skin. The next day, I woke up with even toned skin, which made me happy as I have sensitive reddish skin. I hope it continues to work and not cause breakout. It’s a bit pricy for the drugstore product, but it has a lot of product in the tub.marie.t

So glad I tried this product! My dermatologist recommended CeraVe daytime moisturizer for my skin after I got skin cancer since it has SPF in it and I fell in love with the daytime cream. I decided to try this body moisturizer as a cure for these weird bumps I get on my chest. I have tried everything for YEARS to get rid of these bumps but nothing really worked. I have been using this product for 1 week and the bumps are gone! I still see 1-2 but compared to the 15 sometimes 20 little whitehead looking bumps I would get, I am so grateful! I also got the PM cream and face wash and have noticed a complete difference in my face as well. It’s important to mention I live in Florida so the climate is extremely humid which may contribute to my oily skin but cerave helps to control the oil without drying out my skin in all of the products I’ve used! I wish I would have found these products sooner! I have a very problematic skin. I have a few severe allergies that often result in hives (unfortunately most often on my face and neck), I suffer with water retention (read – tired and puffy skin) and also there is the rosacea. If that was not enough – I was born with KP… I am in my late thirties and when I skin last year started to show substantial sign of premature ageing I went crazy looking for something that will help my skin to reset the o’clock (or at least slow it down). I don't typically write reviews but felt inclined to write of my experience given the high price of this cream. I had researched this product and found many people were very impressed with the performance of this product. I eagerly awaited the arrival of this cream so that I too could start to see and benefit from the impressive results that so many reported. My first application of this cream was brief and it was my last! As I applied it to my face it started to burn. I thought it might get better as it soaked in, but instead it worsened and turned bright red with increased pain and burning the longer it stayed on. I do have sensitive skin and obviously this formulation has something in it that is not for the sensitive types. There is no way that I could continue with this cream. So disappointed! Even though I'm male I have been putting moisturiser on since I was 18. I've tried everything for a while. I have a deep wrinkle between my eyes that even botox can't seem to do anything about (I tried it twice). I'm very expressive and as the dermatologist says (your face is trained). After a week of the Rich Cream the line has started to fade. It's almost like science fiction. It's by far the best moisturizer I have ever used. I'm also 60 years old and while most people usually guess between 45 and 50 (I do look young) in the last week even after I've said "I'm older than I look" when they ask how old I am people have been guessing 42, 43, etc. I'm pretty skeptical and I just use face creams because most of the people I know who look younger that they are do as well, but this cream has been better than all of them. So I have been looking for a new moisturizer for a while, but I honestly couldn't tell you what possessed me to buy this other than the product making me think about the song "Edelweiss" from The Sound of Music. I am very picky about what I put on my skin because I have extremely sensitive skin that gets red and irritated just by looking at it in the morning, let alone trying new products. Anyways, I ordered and received this little (but definitely a decent amount given how much product is being use) glass jar and gave it a try. I FELL IN LOVE!! After my first application I was very pleasantly surprised so I kept with it for a week. Then two. And now here I am, a month plus deep, and my skin is glowing. It's so soft and it does not cause any irritation whatsoever. It's rich yet light weight, and sinks in beautifully. Don't sleep on this!! Or you know, do if you want to wear it at night. I love this product, but knocked a star off because I miss the old packaging. I wish I had saved my old tub! This feels like a nice high end peptide lotion (comparable to the drunk elephant imo). It's what I would call mid-weight. It's not super light or heavy. It can be a night cream for oilier skin, and a day cream for dryer skin. I use it on my eye area and around my chin where I get dryness from my retin-a. During the summer I also use it as an all over night cream when my winter lotion is too heavy. After using this for 3 weeks my skin is not only feeling paper-y but my forehead has little bumps all over it 🙁 Let me preface this with I do not get skin issues/acne aside from dryness unless I use a bad product, it is a blessed genetic gift from my mother I inherited so honestly I'm mortified right now and not leaving the house bc I know all my friends are gonna use this as their opportunity to tease me I googled all the ingredients and compared them to the brand I've used for years (Avène) & the four I can find that would be causing this slow-drying sort of irritation are: Benzyl Alcohol Phenoxyethanol (known to irritate eczema along with the ability to lead to other harmful effects to longterm health i.e. CANCER) Sodium Hydroxide (corrosive to the skin and harmful to the lungs– while it's too small to do anything immediately ~imagine~ what it's doing over time) Phenethyl Alcohol (an ingredient that's never truly been tested for safety and has been proven to cause irritation in low doses as well as effects on the brain, nervous system, and reproductive system in moderate doses). Now, I know their team is going to reply with "blah blah blah we need preservatives, it is FDA approved, blah blah blah" but other companies, aside from Avène, do NOT use Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenethyl Alcohol, or any of their other ~questionable~ ingredients. I'm not saying this to get some marketing loop-around response, I'm saying this so y'all know what to look out for. Make sure the products in your bathroom are ~actually~ clean and NOT just "clean by Sephora." And honestly I'm surprised no one is getting sued over this (not that I will~~ not my circus, not my monkey). While my skin initially loved this product initially, overtime its harmed it. After waking up today with a simultaneously greasy and flaky/bumpy forehead this morning, I will be switching back to the TriXéra Nutrition Nutri-Fluid Balm by Avène– it's more expensive but the bottle is FOUR times the size (this is 1.6 oz, Trixera is 6.7 oz), does not have any harsh preservatives, has nutrients in it, actually locks in moisture overtime instead of drying.Ellen

Just a regular moisturizer. As a simple moisturizer, I'd give it a 4. But it's marketed as a peptide-based moisturizer, and it is not. The peptides are under 1% concentration (way below actually). Normally in an ingredients list, everything listed after Phenoxyethanol is under 1%. So the peptides listed have no effect in actuality, only listed as a marketing gimmick. This is just another case of marketing ingredients or "benefits" on the package that aren't actually included at an effective concentration. The Inkey List has several products like this, unfortunately, including other products advertising peptides and ceramides and other ingredients which are at < 1% concentration. Either include the skin-benefit ingredients in the therapeutic range, or don't mislead consumers by marketing the product label/description as having those ingredients. And certainly don't mark up the price of products just for listing "beneficial" ingredients that won't have any effect in the formulation. That goes for any company that engages in this, not just The Inkey List. Companies need to understand that consumers are getting more and more educated and they need to adapt from deceptive practices like this.Lauren

The pink/purple colour is interesting and the floral/herbal smell is nice. The cream is rich and smooth and so only a small amount is needed to achieve the desired effect. I ordered a quantity of two as this represented a good overall saving on both the product and delivery cost. This was a repeat order for me as I was so impressed with the product, I wanted to order more in case of running out. The product comes in a well-proportioned glass jar, (to make it easier to recycle and is better for the environment).Matthew T

Slightly disappointed in this cream, I ordered the unscented version due to being sensitive to fragrance but unfortunately it smells quite bad (like musty cheese), so I havent been able to use it. I’ve always struggled to find a cream to use after the shower. A lot are always so sticky after but this one is not at all. Small goes along way and after 2 minutes everything is absorbed into the skin and smooth. Fair size aswell so will last me ages I find with all face theory products I have a little does a long way which is perfect as great products are expensive so you can use these products for ages without having to spend every month..Maisie B

I don’t know why this stuff is so good, but the results are astounding. This is not greasy whatsoever, and soaks in quickly. I have extremely dry skin. I have chosen to use this nightly only because of the price point. I use something different for mornings, but I would use the transformation cream more often if I could afford to! This face cream really does transform your face. I received a sample of the Bioglycolic cleanser and the Transformation cream at my local Massage Envy. After one use I noticed a difference. My skin needed some TLC after being diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) and undergoing 6 months of IV Chemo and 1 year of Chemo pills. My skin has never looked better in my entire life. I have only been using the Bioglycolic Cleaner, C-Esta, the Transformation Cream, and the tinted sunscreen for 3 weeks!! I am no longer wearing foundation. I've just finished my first tube after about 9 months of using it at least 5 nights per week. I was looking for a retinaldehyde product after finding that every retinol product with more than .2 or .3 percent retinol would immediately cause me to get one or two huge, deep long-lasting pimples (which i normally never get). Anyway, after reading about how retinaldehyde (aka retinal) is more effective than retinol but less irritating, i thought I'd give it a try. I love Allies of Skin for their multi-active ingredient focused approach. In addition to retinal, it has a ton of peptides, as well as some good antioxidants and brightening ingredients. This retinal cream is a pleasure to use but not as emollient as I expected, so I usually add a richer moisturizer or occlusive over my dry areas about 5 minutes after applying this. I'm using retinal as an anti-aging preventative measure to delay any further fine lines and discoloration that comes with age, so it's hard to say for sure that this product is working. But I can say that I enjoy using it, and it hasn't caused any breakouts or dryness. I only wish Allies would make a version with .1% retinal, as I am ready to increase to .1% and recently bought a cream from a different brand to get that strength. Hopefully it will be as good as Allies.bahar.a

I’ve only been using for the past 2 weeks (alternating with tretinoin in my Curology rx), but have only good things to say so far as it has caused no irritation to my hypersensitive/reactive skin. I purchased this because I absolutely love and wanted to try another one of AOS’s products—so far, 1A is living up to all the hype! It’s a cosmetically elegant cream with hardly any scent; it smells like the ingredients rather than any added fragrance. One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about 1A is how quick and easy it is to use as a multipurpose nighttime product; I’m used to applying retinoids and waiting 30 minutes for them to fully absorb before applying moisturizer. 1A cut my routine time down by literally half an hour. I added extra moisturizer around my eyes and mouth (as usual), but was otherwise done after washing my face, applying a serum, and applying 1A. A 5 min night routine? Wild! I have been using this night cream for about 3 months. I use it not every night but like 3 times a week. It has many active ingredients that usually my skin isn’t happy with. Usually I first see good results but in about two weeks, most of the times, I get some not really pleasant reaction to my skin and always have to stop using this kind of products. But this cream is ideal for me. I don’t know why but my skin kind of likes it. Maybe because it just suits me individually. But I also think it is because it is rather gentle. Anyway I am satisfied with results it gives to my skin. My skin condition has slightly improved. Maybe the result isn’t really dramatic. But I am afraid my skin will react to stronger formulas of retinol. Anyway this cream is a compromise for me. It perfectly absorbs, I don’t feel it on my skin. I am 72 years old, on the thin side, and had very crepey arms, which made me nuts. I have tried so many products, which have not done anything. AmLactin has made a huge difference. My dermatologist recommended this product for my thin skin and excessive bruising on my arms. I initially used the cream, which I love, but with my arthritic hands, it is sometimes hard to squeeze out of the tube. The pump is so much easier, and the lotion is very rich and moisturizing. My arms are so much softer, with very rare bruising. I must be honest that it is winter and my arms are covered most of the time, so I hope I have the same results this summer. Also, I have always used moisturizer on my arms daily, but with this addition, they are definitely better. The texture of my 69 year old sun damaged arms is softer.grdmmc

Pros: this product doesn't sting my sensitive eyes, and it prevents sunburn. Cons: It settles into the lines of my skin and makes them white. I end up with white lines across my neck, and the visual effect is similar to old age stage makeup. It makes the lines look deeper and more severe. Also, the performance under makeup is appallingly bad. Utterly woeful. I tried it with Bareminerals Barepro pressed powder, and I also tried it with the Lisa Eldridge longwearing liquid foundation, and the makeup looked nice when I first applied it, but then it quickly degraded over the next few hours. The powder foundation cracked so badly that it ended up looking like I had flaky snake scales all over my face. I was still at work, and I took a tissue and savagely wiped away the worst bits. The longwearing foundation fared better, but it split and cracked like a desert floor. The foundation I've been using instead for everyday wear, that doesn't sting my eyes but plays well with makeup, is the Supergoop Play. I get the big jug of it and use it on my face and body, and my makeup sits on top of it beautifully. I would recommend the anthelios for a hike, or some other activity where you'll be in the sun but your appearance doesn't matter.Cydni

I haven’t found it to be greasy on my skin, although it does cling to dry areas so use a good moisturizer beforehand. It’s best to wait 30 minutes after it has absorbed before continuing with your routine, otherwise it pills. I would say it’s worth a try for those with normal or combination skin, but honestly there are better facial sunscreens out there. I’ve recently started purchasing La Roche Posay products and am super happy with my purchase’s. This is the last thing I bought. I’m totally in love with it. It applies perfectly on my face and arms and leaves no white cast. Normally I spend $38-$65 dollars just for my face sunscreen but no more. This one is top dog now. It’s mostly physical with a tad bit of chemical but I’m ok with that. I use to try so hard and use products that were 100% clean and they are so expensive but what people don’t realize is there are non clean ingredients in practically everything. Makeup, skincare, hair products, ect. At least with La Roche Posay I don’t worry about it. It’s fragrance free and doesn’t have sulfates and the majority of the other bad stuff. This brand was made for sensitive skin and mine sure does love it. I’ve been using their face and body wash for dry to extra dry skin on my face then their face and body cream on my face followed by this amazing sunscreen. Who says you have to spend a fortune on skincare for it to work? Next product of theirs I want to try is the hylaronic acid serum. It’s a combination of big and small molecules to reach the surface of the skin and I believe 15 layers deep. Sounds amazing! For a diabetic lotion my husband's legs loves it. His dryness is a thousand times better. The draw backs: takes a long time for cream to absorb, the oily feeling is unpleasant for a while. The amount he needs to apply drains the 3.8oz jars in about 2 to 3 weeks. We now only order the larger jars Live and learn.Tlc
