I love a similar product from the anti-redness range of a famous French brand, also 'cliniqually' tested, but always feel rather guilty spending so much as replacement time, so stumbled on this brand when seeking an alternative. I bought it on offer, which worked out at less than a third of the price of the equivalent amount of my beloved brand and so I was prepared to be disappointed. I decided to do my own trial, to be fair to both. For 2 months now, I have strictly applied the same amount of the 'C' cream to the entire left side of my face, and the 'E' cream to the right side, after my usual cleansing routine each morning. I am amazed by the quality of this cream which feels exactly the same when applied, although a little thicker than my usual brand from the tube. It wears exactly the same, covers redness to the same (minimal) degree, and moisturises just as long. I have had not a single breakout, the condition of both sides of my face is identical after 2 months, and show the same strengthened effect with redness controlled. Although the packaging of this cream looks a little less luxurious on the dressing table, and using it feels less indulgent, I now actually prefer the increased hygiene of the pump dispenser compared to a jar. However, I have not noticed any right-left difference in effects after being in the sun, and I wonder about the value of SPF15 in this product which is not in my usual cream. Indeed, being reluctant to apply SPF unnecessarily at night, I have had to continue to use my usual cream as a night cream and would very much like Eucerin to bring out an equivalent night cream, or leave out the SPF altogether so I can use only this one day and night with my own SPF if I am going out.JayTee1
So after years of trying various moisturizers, I have finally found one that actually reduces the appearance of redness on my cheeks! Not only that, it also gives an all over even tone (i guess because of the concealer), what's more, my skin maintains this even complexion throughout the day! (if a bit shiny/greasy). It does not sting or irritate my skin, it doesn't have an unpleasant smell. The consistency is lighter than an overnight cream and not as light as a gel moisturizer. The green colour reminds me of a face mask but that quickly disappears with application to the skin (obviously). Like I said, I do find it makes my skin quite shiny BUT given that everything else about this product is PERFECT, i can deal with a little shine. Besides my skin looks so well, even and almost glowing probably because of this shine. Additionally, if I want to rock the 'natural' look than this product alone, achieves this! Before I would apply make up in such a way that it might look like I was't wearing any but with this product, I feel totally happy and confident using the moisturiser alone for an actual 'natural' look. This cream works great for dark spots. I had a lot on my chest due to age and sun damage. Previously, I had 2 IPL treatments without much results. But after using this cream, the spots are getting much smaller, breaking up and going away. It is not greasy and does not smell at all. I'm super sensitive to makeup and lotion smells, but this stuff is great. It does not hurt or burn at all unlike other lotions and creams that I have used. Spots that were larger than a quarter, raised and waxy are now about the size of pencil eraser, so I can see they are smaller. I have very fair skin and I could still see a bit of cast around my eyebrows and hairline. It seems nice and spreadable, I would describe as medium weight, but it did build up on my skin and I found it hard to remove. I also experienced an increase in blocked pores while using it. It does absolutely work as a sunscreen. I also put sunscreen on the backs of my hands and I could see the line between where I used this one on my hands and a different one on my arms. If you have a medium to dark complexion, I feel this would definitely leave a visible cast. It has a slight scent that is not unpleasant and it did not bother me, though I am scent sensitive. It's pretty lightweight. I've never heard of this brand before and I don't watch any content creator talking about it however that doesn't mean the quality is not good. I wish I could find more reviews on this brand. I like the ingredient list, it contains some antioxidants, some skin conditioning agents, also niacinamide but it also contains fragrance. Even though the scent is nice and it goes away almost immediately, I wish it was fragrance free. otherwise is a good moisturizer sunscreen, whenever I use it I don't feel the need to use a different moisturizer underneath. I feel like this product gets overlooked because it's a cheap vitamin c serum, but my skin absolutely LOVES it! I recently came back to this and reread the ingredients. This is a powerhouse! This has your glycolic, lactic and ferulic acids and aloe so it replaces a few products for me. After a week, I notice clarity, brightness and a reduction of texture. I used to to the Palmer's Acne Soap bar, but during pandemic I had trouble getting more. So I tried Neutrogena products (the water based line since I have OILY skin) my skin got WORSE. I had very big breakouts all over my face and neck. It hurt and it was terrible. I ready your skin has to purge when you switch facecare products. I kept looking to see when the acne var would be available again. So in the meantime I got SO many Palmer's products. I now use the Skin Success line: Deep Cleaning Astringent, Complexion Toner, Anti-Acne Medicated Complexion Bar, Anti Dark Spot Complexion Bar, Dark Spot Correcting Facial Cleanser, Anti Dark Spot Fade Cream for Oily skin during the day and the Anti Dark Spot Fade Cream for Night. I even use the Skin Therapy Face Oil and the Moisture Rich Night Cream. I started feeling real relief at the 4 week mark or reincorporating these products. I noticed at the 5 week mark my skin feels so supple and smooth. I'm seeing more overall skin clarity. I still have the dark spots from my acne (I think I need a good facial or two to get rid of that) but no new acne has come! My skin is really coming along again and I will never stray. I just wish Palmer's made a sunblock and eye cream. I still use a Neutragena sun block though. So it's hard to say if any one product helped me since I basically use it all! This cream is good for my skin. Before buying I read a lot of reviews. There were good reviews and bad ones, but still I decided to buy, and did not regret it. I bought this cream in winter, but I will definitely use it in summer, as it is very light and does not grease the skin. I have combination skin, enlarged pores and other moisturizers with SPF that I have used before were terrible. The consistency of the cream is more liquid than other creams with SPF which are sticky and heavy. The cream is quickly absorbed, tightens my pores and reduces oiliness in problem areas. I noticed that the cream visibly tightens the skin, lifts the cheekbones and the lower third of the face, and also makes the facial wrinkles on the forehead less noticeable. I apply the cream after the serum in the daytime. I have different serums and with each of them the cream works perfectly. Don't use time at night. Not long ago I was on vacation in a warm country where the temperature was about 86F (29C). And the cream worked. It protected me from the sun in the morning, but in the afternoon when there was an aggressive sun I was in the shade, in general my skin did not suffer. Of course I will buy this cream again, it is needed in the summer. The cream is liquid than other creams, it can flow out, so it is better not to take it with you in your purse. Whenever I have seen reviews that state "OMG this product changed my life", I've always taken them with a grain of salt. You see, I had never had an experience with a product where such a dramatic difference was immediately noticeable. It was extremely frustrating to try such hyped products and be let down because they didn't do anything amazing to my skin. Today is that day, however, and this is that product for me. I have very oily, acne-prone, dehydrated skin. What makes this product such a game changer for me is that it's a gel-based moisturizer. I was looking for something lightweight and good for oily skin that contained sunscreen and BOY was I blown away. The first time I applied it, there was an immediate noticeable difference not just in the way my skin felt, but also how it looked. My face felt smooth, even, and hydrated but not sticky or oily. It applies like a dream and sinks right into your skin. My husband even commented on it, unprompted, as my face tends to turn into an oil slick after a few hours but didn't when I used this. I have never NOT looked like an oily mess by the end of the day but with this product, I don't have that problem. While I do get a bit shiny in my T-zone, it looks normal and like just "skin". As I've continued to use it, I am continually blown away each day and just fall more in love. When I say this changed my skin, I absolutely mean that. I can't even explain the relief I feel knowing that I no longer have to blot every hour and that the paranoia of looking like an oil slick is gone. Blend FX is a great product and remained a part of my Obagi skincare routine. For full transparency, I am crazy about consistent skincare and have a fairly complicated regimen: wash/C Clarifying Serum/Clear FX/Exfoderm Forte/sunscreen in the morning, shower/Clear FX/Blend FX/moisturizer+RetinA at night I use an exfoliating leave on product that comes in a wipe usually on Friday and Saturday evenings as well. Generally speaking, I am fairly consistent with my regimen and try never to skip a step or a day, although sometimes I'm just too tired or impatient to do it all. Either way, Blend FX is an important component of my routine and I would not recommend skipping it. It helps to keep from having uneven brightening of your skin. The Obagi NuDerm line of products has been a true lifesaver for me and I hope to never be without it!AP
I have used Obagi Nu-Derm Blend Fx for years. I started with the formula containing hydroquinone back in the 1990's and changed to the hydroquinone-free version after my state prohibited its sale due to potential skin cancer concerns. I am equally pleased with the hydroquinone-free version. My skin is really sensitive, so when I use Retin-A, mixing in the Blend helps to minimize irritation. This is a great product and I don't know what I'd do without it.
I used Nu-Derm Blend FX as a part of the Nu-Derm Fx System. I have used it morning and evening for about 6 months. My sun-damaged skin definitely has lightened and brightened using this product along with the other products in the System. The result is healthier and younger-looking skin. It does not seem to have resulted in more refined pores or improved texture. This particular product does not last nearly as long as the other products in the System, so needs to be purchased more frequently than the rest of the System. It also has a slightly unpleasant odor which makes me cough a little. The odor quickly dissipates.

Gave so much time so it to dry and sink in, finally washed it off. This was the tinted one. The next shade up was a bit too warm for my cool toned complexion .anyway I wish I had tried this sooner . I purchased this to address my most stubborn melasma spots. I began using every other night and have now moved to 1x per day. Too early to give the final word as to whether it is effective because melasma takes a lot of time and effort to fade but I’m hopeful. It has not caused any irritation or sensitivity and I have very reactive skin so I am hopeful that after using for a few months, it will have positive results.

This link, prompting me to review the product I purchased, shows a picture of the tinted version, which I did not purchase. I purchased the non-tinted version to wear in tropical sun while on vacation in Hawaii. I have had skin cancer in the recent past and knew I needed a better sunscreen protection for that type of equatorial sun. It get's a 4 out of 5 stars only because it still leaves you looking a bit "chalky." It is true to it's claim that it smooths on in a sheer way, and does not "feel chalky," at all, but no matter what they say, it still gives you a slight whitish cast on the skin. However, as a sunscreen goes, I did not burn at all on my chest and face, so it gets very high marks for that. I might try the tinted version next round and see if it eliminates that chalk look. I am appreciative of the fact it is non-oily, because even as a middle aged adult, the skin on my face is still somewhat oily and reacts poorly with breakouts to sunscreens that are not non-comedogenic.Kristin
I have been an Obagi enthusiast for years, but I was never happy with the sunblock options they provided. I am very particular with what I use. My sunblock needs to be easy to apply, no cast, of mineral composition and that provides protection against blue light….This one is it!!! I found it!!! This new SPF is so so so so soooooo good. I've used the same mineral spf for about 4 years because I was convinced nothing would beat it, and nothing did. It was an SPF 30 which I was fine with but always wanted a 50 mineral I could wear. ENTER. THIS. SUNSCREEN. It's so lightweight on the skin and for the insane amount of actives (20.2% zinc and titanium combined) not really sure how they did it. I think certain skin types could eliminate a moisturizer. I'm on my 3rd bottle. This has been a life saver. My skin always have bumps along the forehead and I have no idea what to do. Aftre much research, I found that vitamin C helps and viola, it did! it not only helped with the bumps in my skin, but it helped brighten and moisturise. A little goes a loooooong way. This gel is slightly thicker than others I've used, but only slightly. It spread easily and a little goes a long way. I feel a soothing sensation after applying. It moisturizers well. My face feels smoother and looks brighter and more toned. Results are on par with the price. Be careful when you squeeze the tube. It's easy to get more than you need. I was extremely impressed with this moisturizer! I received it in an Ipsy bag and I did not expect to love because I haven’t loved a couple of the other Pixi products I’ve tried. I am a sunscreen fanatic. Melasma makes it imperative to wear sunscreen everyday. I wear this sunscreen on low exposure days. it protects against indirect exposure (SPF 34) and also against infrared red. The verdict is out on whether infrared red light emitted by computer screens and hand held devices can cause skin damage. I feel good wearing this extra layer of protection. What I love the most about this product is that my skin feels good after applying it. It feels soothed. It works well under makeup (Don't overwork it)
I have tried dozens of moisturizers with spf and of sun protection creams of all types, all consistencies (fluids, light creams, thicker creams, powder, tinted or not), and this absolutely is the best in all respects for year-round consistent use. Why is that ? The lotion is more like a light cream which goes on very smoothly, provides excellent protection from city sun to outdoor activities, and sets quickly to a truly matte finish but also provides a subtle glow. Alone it is very comfortable and does a good job of smoothing and unifying: skin looks far better than without, pores are less visible and stay that way, complexion is durably matte without emphasizing dry spots, and even giving a healthy glow. So it ends up being a great sun protectant while providing all the benefits of a day moisturizer brimming with good for skin ingredients. And once settled, you can leave it at that or layer with a light foundation or a tinted sunscreen (the same product in its tinted version works wonderfully, you can just apply a thin to medium layer on top, depending on the amount of color you want to achieve). The non tinted is the perfect base as it actually doubles up as a primer without calling itself one. BY FAR the best sun protection product I have used. My skin is pretty good, combination with visible pores, tendency to shine, but few wrinkles considering my age (58). This product keeps me matte and primed and DOESN’T emphasize dry areas, doesn’t settle into wrinkles, does minimize pores, and is easy to apply and comfortable to wear. I only switch to a water resistant one when I’m swimming or otherwise exposed to water, like for my hands. Considering its performance and the generous quantity for a face product, the price is fair and justified. And regular LS discounts allow it to be an even better buy. I only wish SkinMedica would come up with a similar product in a larger size that could be applied daily to other exposed body areas (eg. arms, legs, hands).
I tend not to use sunscreen when it's not yet spring/summer, since my moisturizer has SPF in it, but after using the SkinMedica AHA BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, which can increase the possibility of sunburns, I decided that using a professional and clinically made sunscreen would be the safest bet. The cream smells pleasant, like a floral sunscreen, without being too overpowering. Most importantly, it goes on extremely smoothly and absorbs quickly, without leaving a greasy residue. What I hate most about sunscreens is when it seems to absorb, but as soon as your face gets even a little warm, you realize the cream has completely clogged your pores and it makes it look like you have a super oily face. This cream was anything but that. Throughout the day, I had pretty much forgotten that I was wearing it. The bottle allows for easy portioning, though the shape of the nozzle might make it a little unprecise to pump out. I will definitely keep using this for the very sunny days when I'm looking for some good skin protection. Before applying this fantastic body cream, I prep with the Dema-e crepey skin pre-treatment scrub when I shower. (See my review on that body exfoliating product.). This cream is remarkable on my 70 year old dry and somewhat crepey skin! Massaged in and absorbed well. My skin looks so much better afterwards. It's wonderful that the hydration and softness lasts for nearly 24 hours for me. It feels good, not oily or sticky. Looks good and doesn't mess up your clothing! I have been using the Crepey Skin Repair Treatment both day and night for about 10 days. Although this is a body cream, I have opted to use it on my neck and up onto my jawline. I had lost some weight which left me with some slackened skin and crepey little wrinkles on my neck. Nothing too severe, but at age 52 this bothers me. I have noticed some slight smoothing of the crepeiness and some firming and toning already. Impressive for only 10 days in! This is a nice rich cream, and doesn't take a ton of product to spread out nicely. My skin feels nice afterward as the cream absorbs well. Nothing greasy or tacky feeling. The scent is a very faint lavender from clary sage and lavender essential oil but the fragrance doesn't linger. This is a plus for me since recovering from covid has left my nose a little more sensitive than it used to be. I am excited to see how my crepey skin area smoothies out with this product.
