One of the products was All About Curls Quenched Cream Conditioner. The white formula is free of Silicones, Parabens, Cruelty-Free, and Color Safe. After rinsing the Lo-Lather Cleanser out of my hair, I apply a generous amount of Cream Conditioner to my curls. I run my finger slowly through my hair before rinsing with lukewarm water. I was gifted this by I glue ster in exchange for a review, as part of a four piece All About Curls set from Zotos containing the lo-lather shampoo, this conditioner, definition gel and taming cream. After the shampoo, I was a little freaked out, because I felt like it had almost cleaned my hair too much! When I first squirted the conditioner into my hand, I was worried that it wasnât rich enough to make up for that. I am so glad I followed the directions and scrunched it in- it was like my hair had been primed just for this, and it sucked it right up! I could tell it was absorbing into every strand- but it didnât leave my hair greasy or oily at all, and washed clean without residue. Iâm now on the evening of day 2 since the night I used it, and I only had to use a very minimal amount of dry shampoo this morning- but, my hair looks healthy! This is the ONLY product I use in my hair. My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy. High density but fine strands. Iâm pretty lazy when it comes to styling my hair. I air dry almost 100% of the time and this cream is a game changer. I know this is called a curl enhancer, and it is. It does a lovely job of sculpting waves/curls without the heavy weigh down, but I also use it to sculpt my hair straight and frizzless. If you put this in and scrunch, BOOM curls. I noticed a lot of reviews recently posted for this product were incentivized, so I figured I would jump in quickly with an honest, self-purchase review. This has become my go-to gel for curly hair and I could not recommend it enough! Paired with a curl creme, this product gives my 3a/3b curls incredible definition for several days, preventing frizz, even as the curls soften. A little goes a long way; this is one of those products you have to play around with a bit to figure out what the right amount for your hair is, but once you get there, it will not disappoint. I avoided gels for a long time either on account of the smell or how clumped and sticky they would leave my hair, requiring frequent re-wash. I really like this gel! It pairs well with the Pillow Soft Curls cream. The bottle says that there is no crunch, but there is, which I donââŹâ˘t mind. I just take some oil and scrunch out the crunch. I usually use this to refresh my curls. I put a nickel size amount in my hands, rub together and quickly run my hands under a little water to emulsify it and then run it through my curls. This is the ONLY product that will curl my 4C hair and last curled for 2 weeks (If I sleep it satin cap) and NOT FLAKE. ALL the other products, except one, flakes in my hair. And trust me they all flake. The only other one that doesn't flake curl doesn't hold more than a day or two. The curls hold with this and its not hard, crunchy, white cast or flaky. I just put it on my soaking wet hair with oil as a base, and pull this through with my fingers or denman brush. Popping curls, in place for 2 weeks. to refresh I just mist with water and pull my fingers through again. This Curl Defining Gel from Living Proof has done wonders for my naturally wavy hair. The area I live in is extremely humid year round. It makes it difficult for me to style my hair without it looking like a hot mess after about 30 minutes outside. Review for full curl line with gel review at end. I have very fine hair that is like wavy where itâs long and 3A curly where itâs short. My hair isnât thin just fine. My best routine involves leave in and a whipped rich creamy mousse with good hold, wanted to try this tho. I did their silicone detox shampoo first to start fresh. I combed the cream into pretty wet hair as it instructs, not totally dripping but not damp. Then I glazed and scrunched with the gel packet which is not nearly enough to actually get a feel for this line. My hair looked good at that point and I diffused it as per usual and itâs clean, soft and shiny and healthy looking but I give 3 stars for definition and hold. Itâs been like 2 hrs and itâs frizzy already. I think I need to try again and really rake the gel in and use more, but the packet doesnât have enough left. I can't remember the last time I used hair gel (maybe the early 2000's?) Gel was always so sticky and flaky. Fast forward to now. Depending on how my hair is cut, it can get pretty curly at times. So I tried this gel and was pleasantly surprised that there was no sticky feeling, no 'crackle', no residue. It is very lightweight and smooth. Your hands don't get all 'sticky' from using the gel! The Good: I've been using this stuff for a few years now, I really enjoy the way it makes my hair feel after I use it. My hair is naturally very curly, yet it's on the finer side and also become very frizzy especially from the natural elements (rain, humidity, etc). I use this product on days when I don't feel like styling my hair but I still want my natural curls to come out looking like their fresh, nice and tamed. This product is fantastic because it does not dry down crunchy whatsoever and the gel feels very light-weight on the hair, which is great because out mousse/gel products tend to weigh down fine hair and can be easily overdone. I use this both on wet and dry hair depending on what stage of getting ready I am at during that time. I find it has the best effect on damp hair. I do not use this in my roots, I mostly apply it to the bottom 70% of my hair and if applying wet, I will also brush out my hair with it in. When applying dry I simply "scrunch" it and smooth it through my hair and it really helps bring about a lovely ooomph to my natural curls. It also helps with frizziness and instantly smooths out my hair, I've reached for this many times during humid days because it really helps my curls not frizz up in the future. I start smaller and apply more as needed. I found that I don't need a whole bunch of product to make this work well and I'd rather apply more later than apply too much all at once. The Bad: Oh boy is this formula STICKY and SLIMY. Honestly this is a very unique feeling gel during application that I have not experienced in other products and I know that I certainly cannot wait to wash it off of my hands after using it. The packaging could also be better as the formula sticks to the top of the tube and creates a dried "slime" and the cap is easily snappable due to the very thin plastic attaching it to the bottle. I have been using this for a couple of weeks not and I am obsessed! To start off, the "Amika" smell is incredible and i cant get enough of it. The product itself is super hydrating but be careful not to use too much. You only need the smallest amount to go through your hair. To apply I flip my hair upside down, use the praying hands, then I scrunch. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship for Amika and I.

LOVE, Love, love it! I initially only bought the style cream, which was hard to distribute through wet hair and made it tacky. Then I noticed the style gel on the website and saw that it was a CREAM gel. Bought it, tried it on my wet hair after applying the leave in, then finished with the Jojoba oil blend and, "WOW!" my waves instantly popped and were elongated. My 2C/3A hair is transitioning and I chose not to do the "big chop", but whether I twist, braid, or bantu knot style, this gel provides superior slip and juicy moisture on wet hair and gives me an almost even wave pattern from root to end. It air dries soft (not glass hard like traditional gels) within a day, and makes my waves–even at the crown roots–feel like butter! I now only use the styling cream on dry hair when re-moisturizing and reactivating waves, as that works better for me. I also use the gel with the rehydrating mist on dry hair when restyling from loose waves to a ponytail to rehydrate and detangle the roots for a smooth finish…oh, and it smells good, too, without overwhelming my sinuses.Sandra C.

Very happy with my purchase so far. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm happy I gave this line a try. My last two washes, I give my hair a quick 5 min in a microfiber towel then spray the hydrating hair mist all over, followed by a quarter size of the leave-in conditioner, and then a quarter size of the curl gel. I let this air dry and I have SOFT, well formed, barely-frizzy waves. I would say, this definitely weighs down my curls a tad, as they're not as well-formed as I know they could be, but I am also not diffusing my hair and instead letting it air dry. My hair feels SOFT–I cannot stress this enough, as other products leave my hair feeling dry or crunchy, or both–and there is actual movement in my hair, which I rarely get. I know others mention the smell of the products is awful, but I have not had an issue. It's a very synthetic cucumber smell, but I find it quite faint. Crunch style, form coils with fingers. Dry or wet and go. In between days add curl Revitalize spray to get the coils perky again after hair flatten from your sleep. Also the finishing spray helps with shine. I'm from the era of Jerry curl and if you know about this era you kinda taking care of your hair like that with water than product without damage and chemicals. Water and this product is all that you need do not mix with leave in conditioner you don't need it anyway. Your hair will hold water so you need dry in time if you need it or you can just go with it. I have been loving this Curl Foaming Gel by VerbxManesbyMell! I have been using this on my wavy/curly hair for the past 5 weeks now and have been loving the results. I personally still like to use this gel with a leave-in (conditioner or primer), and I always finish with an oil. You could definitely use this product as a one and done and it would still work great. I typically diffuse my hair when styling, but I've used this when plopping/air-drying also and have found that it works equally as well with either technique. I use this to touch up and refresh my waves and curls in between wash days. The hold is amazing but the cast is not hard or crunchy at all and is easily broken with a hair oil. If you make sure you're using the correct amount of product for your personal hair and texture, then I do not think you can do any wrong. I had really high hopes for the curl defining gel. I have only used it about 3-4 times, however, unfortunately, the gel, which is actually a thick cream, is too heavy. When it dry's it makes my hair feel heavily coated and a bit greasy. It dry's heavy as well and each time I end up pulling my hair back since it weighs down my curls and waves. Love this so much! This is my lifetime hair product. It became that after the first time I used it like 7 years ago or more I think if not longer. My hair is long, curly, and heavy. A lot of products just made my hair look crunchy. I generally avoid any hair products because I react to so many things ( fragrance, essential oils, lanolin) and I get redness, itching, breakouts, etc. However I wanted to try something for my hair which is wavy. Something I could use to tame the frizz. Well this worked well so far after shampooing. I just put in a little bit and let my hair air dry! My hair was soft and was fluffy but not as frizzy as usual. I really like that this product is free of parabens and sulfates. This product is made with vegan ingredients and it has coconut water to help keep your hair in place, healthy, frizz free, scrunched to your desire, and most importantly controlled. I love that it has a pleasant scent to it. I do wish I wouldnââŹâ˘t have to use so much of the product around my hair line to control my broken off pieces of hair that curl and tend to stick up though. The Hold me down gelle is my go to styler for my wash and go styles. I have 3C/4A high porosity color-treated fine strand dense curly hair (whew!) and this styler gives me the elongation hold and definition for 5 days with minimal touch ups. Hi I don't normally write reviews but when something is as good as this gel there needs to be recognition. I was gifted this gel about 4 months ago it didn't really appeal to me but I was in a rush to get to work after washing my hair and couldn't find my regular gel. Long story short, I use the gel last minute on soaking wet hair and no leave in conditioner (I'm 100% natural 4c by the way) and to my surprise not only was my hair moisturized and soft but lasted 4 days straight without reapplying. I stumbled across the Green Apple & Aloe Miracle Hold Gel online, while searching for a replacement for the Passion Fruit Curl Control product I had used for years. It was getting hard to find and stores would only have 1 or 2 on the shelves or none at all. It also seemed to make my hair come out, but it was the best I could find but began to use it less and less, and just wore wigs. When I saw the Taliah Waajid line, I was pleasantly surprised and ordered it. I liked the "No parabens, sulfates, phthalates silicon, synthetic dyes, mineral oil, animal use, alcohol, gluten or GMO" in the description. I also liked the oils it used: Castor oil, aloe vera, olive fruit and nut oils and vitamins which were in its ingredients list. Well, the result is 5 stars for my 4c very hard to hold hair!!! Past products caked or hardened, and most of all, broke off my hair and mid day, flyaways sprang up and the product melted down my face. This gel is hands down the best one ever. I absolutely LOVE and adore this gel! I have medium length 3B/medium porosity hair and this gel has been a total game changer for me! I've been doing the same hair routine for decades with ok curls that I could never leave down because they'd frizz after a few hours. A year ago I started experimenting and really doing research on what could work better for my hair. I have genetic hair loss and have lost a ton of density over the last five years and I'm trying improve and preserve what I have for as long as I still have it. I was always told my curls were "pretty," then I started using the Curl Defining Styling SoufflĂŠ after trialing another cream/gel from a different line of product and I got a ton more compliments on my curls and could leave it down for longer. After that trial, I tried this gel and oh my goodness, my curls are even more amazing! They don't feel stiff and scrunchy, they don't look like they are held with gel, but they hold for DAYS, not hours like before, but DAYS! I get compliments all the time on my curls now, even on day 3 between washes! My hair looks shinier without being greasy or stiff too. I can't say enough good things about this gel. I don't use it in the shower, when I tried it on fully wet hair, I had less curls and less volume, but that's just my hair. You'll need to play around with your curls to see what works for you. I comb my hair in the shower while I condition, lightly wrap my hair in a towel for a few minutes when I get out (no rubbing!), then put in my leave-in (Multi Tasking Conditioner) with prayer hands then put in this gel with prayer hands, do some gently scrunching and I'm good to go. I'm unorthodox and I go to bed with wet hair but lay my hair "up" on my pillow to dry and I get a ton more root volume and just have to scrunch and finger comb a bit of volume in in the morning and I'm good to go. Unfortunately, this stuff is awful. I originally purchased the blue one, but the smell of it makes me nauseous so I decided to try the orange. It smells better, but sadly that is the only thing going for it. I tried multiple times, styling both in shower and out and this formula is not for my hair. I had hoped the firmer hold would help my fine, tight spiral curls hold up better on day 2-3, maybe even 4. Instead the gel was as crunchy as crunchy can be. Even after scrunching it to break the cast, going outside in humidity or sweating from walking would make it react and get sticky all over my neck, and then crunchy again. Overnight my curls got flattened and the gel held them in the most awful pressed and messed up shapes. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. What a mess.Bri
I have a fine hair texture and have some challenges getting my hair to look full. I usually apply a leave-in conditioner or cream before gel but I skipped that since I was trying this product first time and wanted to see what it did by itself. I sectioned my hair and I admit, I used more than a dime size per section. After I applied it using prayer hands, I brush it through using a flexi brush, then brush styled with my Denman brush. The only problem I encountered was it was difficult brush styling with the product in my hair as my hair was sticky. I will probably brush style then apply with soft prayer hands, then scrunch next time to see if that helps. Nevertheless, my curls starting popping while I was diffusing my hair. I'm not sure if it's because I only used one product, or if something about this one product helped, but my dry time was way quicker than normal to (which is great because it was about 85°F today). I went out and 2 people who see me all the time complimented my curls and that was a first. I only bought the travel size to try it, but I think this is one I'm going to repurchase a full size in. Oh, and I got great volume from it once I scrunched it out. The trick for me was not scrunching up to break the cast, but instead grabbing my hair in sections like little ponytails and massaging the hair together while I scrunched. Forgive me if I go into too many details about my haircare regimen, but I know the curly girls out there that need to know for this review. I use leave-in conditioner, curl cream/definer, followed by gel for my curls, then scrunch with serum once it's dry and set. I used the Pacifica Curl Definitely Defining cream as my second step product, and it worked well, better than other brands of similar price point. My hair had good definition and volume for a few days. But my real issue with it, is why does it come in such a small container. WHY?? Anyone who has curly hair knows they use a lot of product. I'm mad about it. 4 oz?! That's two weeks of product for me. So I use this as my travel curl cream, but I do not use this on a daily basis because frankly I'm mad about it.Kathleen
I am always hesitant about curl creams and them being to heavy and weighing down my curls, but I absolutely love this one. I started with the smaller size in case I didnât like it and I quickly had to get the full size because I loved it so much. My curls donât get frizzy with just stepping out the front door in the FL heat anymore. Itâs does a great job with keeping my curls clumped while keeping it still feeling like hair. I LOVE this hair cream!! I found it "by accident" when I was on vacation and forgot my hair gel. I bought a travel-sized one at the health food store there and was NOT disappointed! I was so excited to find a Pacifica product, as they are my favorite. I've been using the Salty Beach Waves hair balm for over 2 years, and now this Pineapple Swirl is right up there with it. I had to buy a regular size. I have a lot of curl in my hair and this really defines and amplifies the curls! It also cuts down the frizz. A little goes a long way, too! I LOVE this stuff, first of all, it smells amazing, does not leave any residue and it works amazingly. I have 3b-3c curls dry and I use the orange line. I section my hair and style my hair with the hold me softly cream and this jelly then brush with my denman brush. It leaves me with moisturized, non-frizzy curls that lasts for days without the need to refresh. (I use a bonnet to sleep in). This jelly creates a cast but it does not bother me at all! This has become my favorite hair gel! I have fine, medium density, high porosity, spirals. I get quite a bit of frizz in the summer living in the South, so itâs hard to find gels that give me the mix of volume and definition that I want. I really love the Flexi Jelly because it is a creamy gel, so itâs very lightweight and does not weigh my hair down. It also gives a very light cast that helps with hold. I can use this as a one and done product, if Iâm in a hurry, but I usually use as my last step after Olaplex hair serum and Innersense I Create Volume. (All very light products). It never leaves any buildup, and Iâve been using it for about a year with consistent results. It is scented, but I find that the scent dissipates quickly. I was eager to try this, after seeing reviews on Youtube. I tried it first with the Style balm, but the next day my hair felt like straw, I was so disappointed. But yesterday I was determined to try again, so I cowashed my hair and I like to use a little of both leave-ins (weightless leave-in and oil in cream) and a little bit of the treatment serum on my ends (I do this so my hair stays moisturised all week). The next day, I spritzed water on my hair and it did re-activate the leave-ins from the night before – my hair was literally detangled from the water (AMAZING), and then I added the Flexi jelly for some hold. I was VERY happy to see it finally worked! The jelly goes in like the weightless leave-in conditioner (which is personally one of my favourite products of all time!). The jelly instantly added shine, curl definition, and if my hair was tangled, it would have definitely had alot of slip! My hair feels super soft. I would say to try this product by itself first, before you layer it on another styler, as it is moisturising alone and has a ton of slip. For me, the style balm does not work in my hair at all, and if I didn't try the flexi Jelly by itself, I would've sent it back and never known of it's awesomeness LOL! The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because I personally like alot of hold, and this Jelly is a medium hold. But I will overlook that, as it has made refreshing my hair everyday SO easy!!

I had high hopes for this product because I genuinely love all the other tea tree products from Paul Mitchell. I didn't realize that one of the ingredients had apricot in it. This is my mistake, I own up to it. I should have just read the label before applying it but i was so excited, i had completely forgotten to until my scalp started getting itchy. Iâm a 62 yr old woman with naturally curly hair past my waist. My hair, not extensions. I donât blow-dry my hair or use curling implements. Every once in a long while (like 5years) I will use my ceramic flat iron just to have a different look for an occasion. But Iâm a wash-and-wear woman. I live in Florida, and had not yet found a product that kept my hair from frizzing. Iâve used PM products in the past and liked them. Especially the Super Skinny Serum. So when I came across this product at a salon I decided to give it a try. It keeps my hair smooth without weighing down the curls. Once dry it can be a bit âcrunchyâ like a lot of leave in products. But iâve found that gently scrunching my dry curls breaks it up, and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and curly. Unfortunately, as with other reviewers, I find small chunks of white in my hair after applying, even with pumping it into one of my palms and then vigorously rubbing my palms together to warm and emulsify the product. With as much hair as I have, combing through my wet curls and picking out the chunks is tedious. Will it keep me from using the product? Doubtful. Simply because it really makes my hair look lovely. However I may have to resort to using it only for special occasions, until the problem is solved.Wash&Wear Woman
I have 2c mid back length hair. I tried this product alone without any other products. It smelled good while applying but left no other scent once dry. I scrunched this in and allowed to air dry. Once my hair was completely dry there was no defined curls. It wasn't crunchy. It seemed to weigh my hair down. I tried using less the next time and still no results I was looking for. After using Rizos Curls shampoo & conditioner I use the gel BY ITSELF.. and it gives me a very good strong cast and TONS of volume. I love using this as a single styler. My next day hair still looks amazing just using this gel without refreshing as well. If you want a less/light hold, pair it with their defining cream. I have wavy 2b hair that's low porosity and have struggled to find a gel that works. I was ready to throw this away because everytime I used it with my daily products, my hair would be crunchy, stringy, and dry. My stylist told me to try it by itself since some gels work best alone. This has the texture of a cream more than a gel, but still has quite a bit of hold for a thinner product. I have 3B ish hair that is very easily weighed down when wet, and this did a great job of giving enough hold without being too heavy. I also liked that I could use a lot of it (to get the benefits of a creamier texture) without getting weighed down. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the line, as this was such a nice experience! I think it would work well for a lot of different hair textures, as you can easily layer it or use less depending on your needs. The only small drawback for me was that the scent is very perfumey- it smells nice, but I generally prefer my hair products on the less smelly side.Imss
I have weird hair: curly on the front but wavy on the back, thinning because of aging and quite dry. This is the first product I try from this brand and I am really enjoying it. PROS: – It has nourishing ingredients like aloe vera, coconut oil and cacay oil. – It leaves the curls looking defined and natural. – It leaves the hair feeling hydrated and very soft – It doesnât leave a residue, and I tend to apply too much, so thatâs good. – It smells so good (at least for my liking) CONS: – It is not a gel, but a cream (at least is how it looks) – It has a light to medium hold. I prefer stronger gels that keep my hair in place for longer, but thatâs just my preference. This one forces me to wash my hair more often that I would like because my hair gets frizzy sooner. First, I wouldn't call this product a gel. It's more of a cream gel, which should've been my first indication it wasn't going to work for me. Smell is good, product feels good. It provides a natural hold and my curls are very soft and touchable. However, I have high-porosity hair and need a product that forms a cast on my hair. This isn't it. If your hair is normal or low-porosity this product might work for you, but it just doesn't provide the hold that my curls need.Kristy

I received the shampoo, conditioner, and cream gel complimentary through Influenster in exchange for an honest review of the products. I've never used a cream gel before, so I didn't really know what to expect, to get the full ever curl experience I used the gel in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner. I used those three products solely to get a good idea of how they work together and the cream gel is my definite favorite out of the evercurl trio. I would not repurchase the conditioner and shampoo, but the cream gel is slowly becoming one of my new go-to products. The cream gel is exactly what it sounds like and it did hold my curls like it said it would, but it also made my hair kind of stiff. That can be combated by adding a light oil to your hair after the gel. Other than that, I love the gel.It has a nice scent, the packaging is lovely and very convenient.I really enjoy that I can see how much product is left instead of having to guess-timate like many other gels. All in all, it's a good product that's worth the price and a little goes a long way so it lasts.annessa.p
I'm 44 and spent most of my life flat-ironing my hair until I found this product. Nothing else suited for curly hair works on my 2c/3a hair, this product achieves better curls and good hold without stickiness or greasiness. I discovered how beautiful my hair could be, and how I loved it. Now I'm back to torturing my hair with the flat iron as no other product compares. I think this styling cream gel is DECENT ! I was excited to try it out as it has all the right harsh ingredients and chemicals removed that IS NOT SAFE for NATURAL HAIR ! It definitely smells GREAT but on the 1st attempt of use ,after following the instructions on the bottle, my hair came out crunchy, weighed down with product, and icky ! It was then I realized that I cant use this product on my hair the way that the instructions intended. So on the 2nd attempt, I used small amounts to do a twist out style (not alot!) After taking my twist out down, my hair was not anywhere near as crunchy and sticky as before and the SHINE was FABULOUS! I 've only used it 2x and I haven't found the best method yet to incorporate it into my regimen for me to get the best outcome of my hair style and texture ; so I will continue to test it out !natazhia.b
