I keep a minimum of 3 bottles of this on hand at all times! I have one in the shower and one bottle in each of the other bathrooms. I use it to keep my curly hair from looking frizzy. So after I get out of the shower and also on my dry hair, I will put about the size of a quarter dollap of this condtioner in my left hand, then rub my hands together and work the conditioner into every strand I can ! It really works and my hair does not feel greasy. Before using this product, I used Aussie Spray Gel. Smells great, works pretty good. But became hard to find. I bought the 2oz bottle, not a gallon but there's no option for it. So I used the sample sachet of the unscented version and I thought it was good sulfate-free shampoo. I wanted to try a scented one so I bought the 2oz Island Fantasy and I don’t know what went wrong. I had to use way more of the shampoo this time around to even get enough to work through to my scalp. When I rinsed it out this time it felt like my hair was stripped and squeaky and my roots felt tangled. When I used the unscented sample it was soft and felt smooth in my hair when rinsing out. I followed this up with my usual go-to Dove intense moisture conditioner and my hair is not drying the same. It looks dry, feels dry, and the frizz has been real. I’ve been trying to tame it by twisting and clipping it up in a bun all day because of how bad my hair has been looking. Is there a difference between the unscented and Island Fantasy? Really sucks because I’ve been wanting to find a good sulfate-free shampoo to use in between normal sulfate washes, but it seems like none of Jessicurl products work for me.julia.s
One of the things about gels that I run into is it not being being 100% compatible with very season. Some gels are good for all year round, while some gels work their magic best in certain seasons, but this gel right here work’s it’s magic no matter the season or whatever may come up, where your hair needs strong hold and ultimate frizz protection that you can count on truly all day long. This gel is glycerin free, for those who may be interested in such. It does contain alcohol listed as its last ingredient, but alcohol is actually a component t of one of the polyquat’s used in this product. So, alcohol isn’t added separately to this product, for those that may have been wondering. It is on 7/10ths of this product. Also, you do not smell any traces of such when you smell this product at all. The fragrance free version comes completely fragrance free, and this gel has a lightweight consistency (but is not runny), it dries clear, it doesn’t flake, and it gives y hair hold fit more than one day, which for me is a miracle, because with most stylers that I use, I have to refresh my hair with more styling product ASAP every morning. Because, after I sleep on my hair, even with a satin bonnet on, my hair typically be needing some extra help in the mornings, for sure. But, the hold on this product is fantastic. I can use this product on both wet and dry hair without any problems, but I do choose to use Jessicurl’s hairspray (which is alcohol free) to give my hair a quick pick me up or to take flyaways that may pop up in between my hair wash day. They do have a curl refresher within the Jessicurl line, but it just isn’t best suited for my hair unfortunately. But, their hair spray on the other hand works so much better at reviving my hair, whenever needed. This is a very universal gel that was created for all curltypes, all hair textures, and definitely for all races. So, if you haven’t given Jessicurl a try yet, I’d highly recommend checking out all that they have to offer and what products may suit your wavy, curly, or coily hair best for sure!sybil.w
Maybe I just have the worst luck with hair products or something because it’s such a struggle to find anything that actually works. I purchased a small 2oz bottle of this deep conditioner and I don’t understand what’s deep conditioning about it. It’s super-duper thick and hard to get out of the bottle which seemed like a good thing if it was moisturizing at all. The smell was nice and light but had a hint of a weird crayon smell that the other unscented Jessicurl products have. It had no slip and I was already kind of worried that it would not be moisturizing. I left it on and put a cap on for 30 ish minutes with a towel wrapped around my head to trap heat in. I also periodically used the blow dryer to heat it up inside the towel. I rinsed it all out and then put some argan oil and OGX Moroccan oil and wrapped my hair with a Tshirt. When I was letting it air dry after that, I could tell things were going south with how crispy and frayed my ends were looking. I JUST trimmed my ends a week before as well so this shouldn’t have happened if I deep conditioned my hair. During the drying process, my hair frizzed up a lot and looked super dry and crispy. I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

Hands down one of the best conditioners I have ever used! Did I say EVER???? Yassss, I did! I have use on my wavy to curly hair and my daughters mixed 4b hair and let me tell you, our hair is sooo moisturized and soft to the touch. It smells good and it’s a pretty decent size bottle for the price. Don’t let the “mens”, description fool you ok! It works way better in my open than the Shea Moisture coconut and hibiscus conditioner. Don’t get me wrong, I still love and use their hair masque but this right here is it! Yes yes they do say that these products are for men but that did not stop me from trying them out. My husband was so excited that we got the shampoo in the mail that he went out to the store to buy the matching conditioner to go with it to get the full effect. A few days later we actually received the matching conditioner in the mail from top box circle. So now we have to even it out & get another shampoo. I am already a huge fan of shea moisture and use their products daily! I was not able to find a scent that I loved until this new line for men came out. Even though the scent was not the best the effectiveness of these products won me over and I would use them regardless. These products work effectively to clean the hair and scalp leaving a clean feeling to the hair. The conditioner is amazing as it conditions the hair leaving it feeling soft silky and smooth. My other half got the chance to try out this men’s deep hair conditioner recently. The consistency is a thicker conditioner. It was used after shampooing his hair. He applied enough for his length of hair and let it sit for a couple minutes. Than he rinses it out. His hair is more manageable and soft feeling. It does a good job at moisturizing the hair. This has an amazing scent of Shea butter and a hint of honey. This conditioner has no parabens, no animal testing & no mineral oil. This is made with fair trade Shea butter. This and olaplex literally saved my hair. I got married two weeks ago and my hair was wrecked. The stylist who colored it slightly over bleached it the week before – no big deal, just made it a little drier. THEN we went swimming at the Rehearsal dinner, and my dad didn’t mention he had shocked to pool. The next day my hair was straw. I had breakage, couldn’t get a brush through it, it looked like an absolute rats nest. My husband had to lend his beard oil to myself and several bridesmaids just to untangle massive knots, and several of us ended up cutting them out. Add in heat damage from the styling for the wedding, and then sun/sand/saltwater from the beach and I thought I was going to have to completely chop it off. Which would have sucked bc I’ve been growing it out for 4 years now. Other masks did literally nothing. I picked this up on a whim as a last ditch effort and OH MY GOD. I have my staple haircare now, it took me YEARS to find the right brand and way of doing it. This is not one I will be adding to my routine. Glad I got the travel sized one! This is a really decent option for those that want a silicone-free, medium to slightly heavier moisture, and plan to use it frequently. When I did use it, I found that for my hair it reacted more like my conditioner than a hair mask. Now this is MY personal experience! Some probably find this to be a really heavy moisturizing product. My hair did not seem to agree. It was frizzier than it is when I use certain other hair masks. I can’t personally recommend this product simply because I didn’t love it the first time, and won’t use it again. I need a haircut right now, so my 3b curls are looser than usual. Usually, I have a fairly tight spiral curl throughout, but my hair is overall fine. I need something to hold my curls together without frizz to keep the curls intact. I keep my hair long, but I need the dead ends trimmed. I don't regularly use a hair masking product, but I got this in an Allure box for this February. After one use, my hair was shiny, and my curls were tighter than they've been in months. It felt like I had a trim at the salon. My hair was very soft and bouncy, even with my usual styling products. My curls still held well despite how soft this product made my hair. I am very happy with the results and will use it again. The smell is pleasant but doesn't linger over my other styling products as well. With first use I did notice a slight difference in the texture of my hair after blow drying. I really feel with continued use it may just make a good difference. My hair is gray and frizzy. One of my co-workers turned me on to these for hair treatment. She is Italian, with long dark hair that she straightened daily. She gave herself a treatment once a week. Love the scent of this shampoo!! The smell isn’t too strong but it smells clean and lasts. The shampoo rinses out so easily and I follow with the conditioner on my daughter’s hair, she has thin frizzy still filling in hair and it makes it so smooth! My youngest baby I just use the shampoo and it is still so soft and tamed her curls. Will never switch to another brand! The only issue I have is the bottle for the shampoo was shipped and came broken (won’t stay in the pump) but the quality of the product is amazing.Happymama
I love the product! It is very moisturizing, is a good value for the money. I am very sensitive and this product does not put off a noticeable scent which is another reason that I repurchased it BUT the problem I have is that the item comes unsecured in packaging so leakage occurs through the jostling around through the shipping the pump twists loose therefore letting product escape and leak into the box. The first time I ordered it it was secured with shipping tape and that was better but this time there was no shipping tape at all therefore more leakage occurred. I wanted to like this product. I’ve been looking for a gentle shampoo and conditioner that I can use on my 12 month old with dry curly hair. It worked well enough in terms of moisturizing and detangling, but the smell is so strong I can’t keep using it. It smells very perfumy and a bit musky like an old man’s cologne and the smell is so strong that both my daughter and I sneeze every time it’s used. Unfortunately I’ll have to toss the rest of the bottle as it’s just way too much scent for either of us. I over processed my hair to the point that some of it was like chewing gum when wet and pine straw when dry. I had to have about 6 inches of length cut off and several super shorts layers put in. The parts of my hair that over processed are beyond repair, but even what wasn't over processed to the max was still super dry. I have been using various products as treatments to try and get back as much moisture as possible. While I haven't used this as a mask exactly it has helped me tremendously. I take just a very little bit each morning when my hair is wet and run it through my hair good and brush it and let it air dry. This product makes my hair look smoother and makes the damage less noticeable without making my hair greasy or heavy. Just based on what it does for me when I use it, sort of, as a styling product, I am guessing it would be a good mask too. This mask has a nice herbal Argan scent that can be strong when you open the tub but dissipates quickly. My fine, frizzy wavy hair feels softer, hydrated, looks shinier, feels healthier with less frizz than before I began using this mask. This is THE mask you’ve been missing. I’ve tried others but keep going back. It’s THICK. Others I’ve tried are much more runny and just not as moisturizing. I brush through with my wet brush in the shower and it transforms my hair. Especially love it after a good clarifying wash. I have thick, very long hair with highlights and I also straighten it. I love this stuff. It does almost as good a job as the Briogeo "Don't Despair, Repair!" mask, and works in half the time (I'm busy, so that's great). It has a creamy texture that is easy to work through my hair, but it doesn't feel greasy. It has a mild, pleasant nutty scent. My hair is immediately softer and less frizzy after using it. It's cheaper, too! I got it in a beauty box, but I'll probably buy more when I'm done with this tube. I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I received this as a boxy charm add on and I got super lucky because I got quite a few great products. I’ve been using L’Oréal elvive wonder water which is literally a miracle so I wasn’t confident that anything would compare but this masque is just as good, maybe even better. I have waited 3 full months to write a review on this shampoo and conditioner set…and I have some amazing things to say. I started pulling out 200-300 strands of hair a day after getting Covid. I started to get scared washing or brushing my hair hair it became that bad. I started using this set every other day for three months and I know only lose 2-5 strands of hair everyday and my hair is growing back so quickly!! I like to write reviews on the purador items that I get because I think that they are a bit unknown yet are fabulous products!!! This is the first time ordering the advanced therapy conditioner and it did not disappoint! My hair is thin and this (along with purador advanced shampoo) seems to make it feel thicker. I have been using the For Hers shampoo and hair conditioner plus the biotin gummies for two years and it has made my hair feel the best it has in years. Due to hormonal changes my hair started getting thinner, so I thought I’d try this to add to my collection. Tried it today and first off couldn’t comb my hair wet, and secondly it felt so matted and brittle that it pulled my hair from the root when trying to dry it. This mask made my hair feel dirty and tangled. Very hard to brush through and got tangled up all day. I thought maybe I was supposed to condition afterwards so tried it again a week later and it was the same. Felt like it left a residue and made my ends look fried and brittle. I’ve been trying to repair my hair after damaging it a couple of years ago and this treatment set me way back. I don’t know how they can sell this as a repair mask when all it did was damage my hair.
