I have been using the For Hers shampoo and hair conditioner plus the biotin gummies for two years and it has made my hair feel the best it has in years. Due to hormonal changes my hair started getting thinner, so I thought I’d try this to add to my collection. Tried it today and first off couldn’t comb my hair wet, and secondly it felt so matted and brittle that it pulled my hair from the root when trying to dry it. This mask made my hair feel dirty and tangled. Very hard to brush through and got tangled up all day. I thought maybe I was supposed to condition afterwards so tried it again a week later and it was the same. Felt like it left a residue and made my ends look fried and brittle. I am truly #OribeObsessed. I love many of their product lines but this masque is magical. While so many others are turning to the latest and greatest claim of the other “O” product that comes in the minimalist 3.3 oz packaging, I am sticking with Oribe! I have naturally red, loose curly hair (between a 2c/3a) and I use this mask once a week to keep my hair nourished so that my curls and waves will hold in place and not dry out. While I am sure many will look at the price and flinch, don’t let that move you. I have hair past my shoulder blades and all I need to use is less than a teaspoon of product from roots to ends. Many other products will require you to use much more product in order to get the moisture and results that Oribe provides in one small dollop. This jar of masque will last me for months, even while using once a week. The pic I posted is what my hair looks like on day 3! This is NOT just a wonderful masque to provide moisture in your locks. I have found various alternative uses not mentioned on the Oribe website for this product. I have very long, red, naturally curly hair. I use about a tablespoon amount when I am using it as a deep conditioner in the shower. However, I keep this product on my vanity and use it every day for other uses. I dab my pointer finger in the product and use it to “piece” my bangs and to smooth flyaways. It holds my bangs in place beautifully with a little hairspray after styling my bangs. I also use this as a moisturizer for my hands before putting on my rings and heading out the door. Lastly, and this was the most shocking for me to experience….. I use it around my elbows and ankles just before I spray on my self-tanner!!! Yes, you read that correctly! It helps blend smoothly around those always tricky areas. The key when using this as a moisturizer is to blend into skin thoroughly. My skin isn’t sticky as you would think it would be by using a hair conditioner as a moisturizer. I have used this as a conditioner for my long hair several times and daily for styling my hair and moisturizer for my hands and you can barely see the product has been used. I really wanted to like this. I always heard such great things about Oribe as a company. I'm a curly girl , with fine coils but a ton of hair strands. I think it's important to add that I'm a white girl but most have more of an "ethnic"…hate that word but just for context…texture, other than being SLIGHTLY softer. The products that work best for me are always targeted toward coarser hair types. Also important to add, I am well educated in professional hair care and am constantly trying new products for my naturally (and also chemical induced) dry hair. In fact, most showers I use heavier conditioners or masques. This masque didn't impress me and won't be in my product rotation. I felt that it didn't seem to be moisturizing or "heavy" enough for curls like mine. Honestly, the smell was ok but that wasn't even appealing enough for me to note it as a positive. As another reference I used it more than once and kept it on longer subsequent times to see if that would make a difference in my experience. There was no difference. Oh wow. I see now why this is always sold out on Ipsy points lol! I’ve had this for a while but used it once and forgot about it. I’ve been on a strict finishing my products and it’s now this guys turn… I shampoo, condition my hair, apply this on my damp hair and put a hair towel on to let the product sink in. After a few minutes I use a hair dryer and then I use a Soleil round blow drying brush. I SWEAR I feel like I went to the salon and it’s all because of this product!!!!!!! This is my first time using a Pacifica hair care product. I have used a sunscreen of theirs in the past and I liked it so I thought I'd give this a shot.Pros:Smell is nice. I use Pacifica makeup because they're cruelty free & vegan plus they usually work wonderfully. I was excited to see them come out with haircare so I decided to try out both the shampoo & conditioner. Unfortunately, both products really let me down. The shampoo was drying and made my hair a tangled mess. The conditioner doesn't even make up for how drying the shampoo is! I'm used to using more conditioner than shampoo but I had to use twice as much as I normally would and that's a lot given the size of the product. I wanted to give them another chance, hoping it was a fluke. Nope, did the same thing the second time. I had to buy another bottle of a different conditioner to help the dryness the shampoo caused because it was making my scalp flake. I have a pretty oily scalp so for it to cause it to dry to the point of flaking, I just had to give up on it. If they improve the formula, I'll give it another go. A really nice leave in that doesn't male my fine hair greasy or sticky. It does seem to sink in like a skin moisturiser does. With that in mind, it's very forgiving if you use too much! I was attracted by the described scent of vanilla and lavender, but that doesn't come through so much as just a general mildly sweet smell. Although this is obviously aimed at night time, I apply it to my ends any time because it really does keep them soft. The only thing it doesn't help with is detangling so in the morning your hair is soft but will be just as knotty as normal. This is still one I've repurchased and continue to enjoy, and works beautifully with the rest of the range too.Sarah

(I have dark hair naturally) I split my hair into two sections I use about 3 pumps on each section. My hair absorbs this beautifully. Please look into to the quality of your travel sized packaging. I know things are always a chance with travel but I was so excited to get this travel sized treatment for my work trip and no joke it completely ruined ALL of my cosmetics. Literally in tears so much money worth of products need to be replaced. In all honesty my fault for not putting it in a separate bag but I literally received this the day of my work trip so I tossed it straight from the package to my travel bag not giving it a second thought. Devastated to find when I arrived it had exploded all over my cosmetics in my bag. ALL of my toiletries got ruined. Like if this trip wasn't stressful enough, i work in wine sales, I was gut wrenched. The entire top seal of the bottle popped open and ruined all of my makeup. My advice is to put it in its own separate ziploc. The product itself I cannot stress enough is a game changer for hair and has been my miracle. But the warnings need to be seen and heard for the travel sized packaging, they're weak. Take your tubs ladies.. they're more secure 😢😢 will take my full sized tub everytime from now moving forward. This product works well as both a conditioner and as a hair mask, but it took me a few tries to figure it out. Here are some things I wish I was told. First off, for new customers, use this product for the first time when you don't have important events coming up. You need to experiment at least once and feel confident that you will get your desired result, or you will be disappointed. That said, there are instructions provided with the product, but only use the instructions as a guide. You re the only one who knows your hair, so trust your gut. I used the product as an overnight hair mask the first time (as recommended in the guide), and it did not go well for my hair, despite what some other customers experienced. My hair used to be very dry (due to heat damage & dyes), but this product put me at the other end of the spectrum and made my hair very greasy and oily. Took me a couple washes to get the product out, and then I tried again leaving the hair mask in for 30 min instead. Still made my hair too greasy. I repeated the process for 20 minutes, 10 minutes, & 8 minutes until I realized the last option worked for me, and it worked really well. I also experimented using the product as I would any other conditioner and only keeping it in for only a couple minutes in the shower. I had no problems with this route either. I will say though, that I achieved the absolute best result *for my hair* by using it as a hair mask for 8-10 minutes and following my shower with a separate leave-in conditioner (no particular brand). This route has given my hair shine (not grease) and softness that is visible to people around me (& even over Zoom!). However, one thing to note is that using the product (even on its own without the additional leave-in conditioner) has made me wash my hair more often. I used to wash my hair once a week, and now I wash it 2 times a week (may wash a third time in the week if I straighten/curl/style my hair) to keep it fresh, oil-free, & smelling great. But good news is that my hair had an instant transformation and has been getting better ever since I started using this product and is definitely feeling softer and more nourished. Would definitely recommend! 🙂
I was SO excited to try this masque after reading reviews and seeing before/after photos. My fine, straight hair was actually REALLY healthy (I rarely use heat styling, and I have worked up to being able to go 7 days between washes, so my hair has been great) until I had it balyaged about two months back and now I'm dealing with constant frizz and dryness from the bleaching process. I hoped this masque would help restore some moisture and at least cut down on the frizz – if not entirely eliminate it – but I have used this masque twice now and it has literally done absolutely nothing. I've tried sleeping in it AND using it after washing, just rinsing it out, but neither method has made any difference or improvement; if anything, it leaves a residue on my hair and has actually made it almost sticky once it's dry. It smells absolutely amazing, which is the only reason I've given it two stars, but to be as pricey as it is (I would have been better off to buy more Olaplex than spend $60 on two of these that are now nothing other than a conditioner I'll use for the smell), it has been disappointing to say the least. I would have been okay with minor improvements but absolutely nothing … I'm wondering how many of the reviews are edited or completely fake and written by Coco&Eve now – there is no possible way I am the only one who has had such a disappointing experience with this product.Amanda L.

Do not waste your money. I love Olaplex 3,4,6. This does nothing for my hair. I tried 3 times, leaving it in longer each time (first 10 min, then 15, then 20) to see if helped improve the outcome. It does lather but not as much as the brands I ordinarily use. My hair feels soft and clean after use. I don't feel the need to use additional products. What I found interesting after using this product is my hair is returning to its natural condition. My hair is damaged and because it's graying has an almost brassy and harsh shade. I was so excited to try the Matrix Instacure Porosity Spray while also being prepared to be disappointed. I have such a hard time finding leave in conditioning products that don't leave my hair feeling greasy and weighed down. My hair is damaged with split ends and breakage so I am always trying to fix it. To start, I love how convenient and mess free the bottle is. The smell is amazing and lasts forever which I appreciate. My routine with this is to shampoo and condition first. I then apply this to damp hair from mid to ends. While this product is also a heat protectant, I have been trying to minimize any damage so I have been air drying. I have to say I absolutely love this spray! My hair looks and feels healthier and smoother. The breakage and frizz are now tame and soft. This shampoo comes in a very tall and soft plastic bottle in a bright hot pink shade with a flip top lid. The shampoo itself is creamy and lathers nicely. A 20c size squirt is enough to coat the entirety of my scalp. Although I typically prefer fragrance-free products, I did not mind that this shampoo has a bit of a fragrance, at least initially. It does not linger after the shampoo is washed out. In terms of results, this shampoo cleans well and does not leave my scalp feeling stripped, rather it feels refreshed and balanced. I’ve used a lot of conditioners over the years, some have worked and some haven’t for my dry and slightly frizzy hair. But this, hands down might be my holy grail. I leave this on for about a minute, if not two, and after I wash it out, it makes my hair just stupid soft, it’s hard to even believe. I was sent this product by SpaceNK to trial at home and review. Though I love the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (and the probably infamous caramel-y scent), having previously tried samples of the shampoo and conditioner, I'm really not a fan of the hair care range. I have fine, flyaway, naturally wavy hair which is frizzy and can be prone to kinks and other unpredictable behaviour. I was concerned that this may not be for me as I found the shampoo and conditioner a tad heavy for my fine hair. Conscious of my previous experience, I made sure not to use any oil or any sort of leave in treatment on my hair for a week before trying this product. I also made sure to use as little of it as possible (which was rather difficult as it's quite a thick product!). I followed the instructions which said to apply it to damp, freshly washed hair from root to tip and leave it for at least 10 minutes. I worked from the ends upwards so there would be as little product as possible weighing down my roots and left it for around 10 minutes. Though it's quite a gloopy product, it washed out easily and even whilst showering, I could feel that my hair felt softer and smoother (and even a tad thicker though, perhaps, this was due to the product being a bit too heavy for my hair type?). I also liked the way that my hair reacted to the treatment. It seemed to encourage my natural waves and I was confident leaving my hair to dry naturally. Whilst it did not eradicate all frizziness, it was a major improvement. My hair felt deeply conditioned but not greasy. Another bonus is the scent and even 24 hours after using the treatment, my hair still holds plenty of the beautiful signature scent. Now for the negatives! The scent is very strong. I love it but many may not. I also think I would need to use this sparingly. Even with the little that I used, my hair felt heavier / weighed down and I expect there to be quite a bit of product build up. I've used this twice so far in a week in place of my normal hair mask treatments, and so far, I think I've found a new hair favourite! I will be including my thoughts below: Ergonomically, this has fantastic packaging. It has this lovely textured rim around the bottom of the jar, which means you get a good grip while scooping out your product with wet hands in the shower. It has a nice chunky lid too, which screws off easily enough, but contains a small pull lid on top of the actual hair butter, so the stuff inside won't spill. It isn't too runny, nor is it too gloopy and thick, so it's the perfect consistency to rub through your hair. I have my fine hair that's mid-upper arm length, and I only need a very small scoop to coat my hair. I run a comb through it after to ensure it's well distributed, and then spread the excess picked up in the comb's teeth over the front of my face where the fringe is (heat damage, hello!). I then clip it up for the rest of my shower, rinse it off at the end, and hey presto! Beautiful glossy hair. I can see a real difference when I've rinsed it off as well, because it feels very soft to the touch, and even after being bundled up in a towel and then unwrapped after, it falls down in soft, non-tangled locks, which have no resistance when combed through. I've tried this with and without my other hair products (leave in spray conditioner, heat protectant, and anti-frizz serum), and I've found that I do need my extra things to really get my hair to sit totally unfrizzed after, but even without, the shine and gloss is absolutely stunning. I think in future, I'll probably leave this stuff on for longer (overnight if possible), which will hopefully give me the full repair effects. However, for a ten minute flash treatment, this is a really nifty thing to have in the shower with you. Also, in regards to the scent, I was a little disappointed – I've heard wonders about the SdJ products' smell, and to be honest, it's pretty much like every high street hair mask smell. It's lovely, don't get me wrong! But it's nothing special (it still has the chemically salon product smell) and in my opinion, shouldn't be the aspect that sways you for or against buying the product. I don't know if this is going to replace my current favourite's holy grail status (Olaplex No.3), but value wise, it's definitely going to be a close competitor. So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. But overall I would definitely recommend to others. Perhaps slightly ticker hair wouldn’t have as much problem on day one – mine is just so very thin.rebecca.d
This was a lovely surprise to trial. I have used many deep treatments since colouring my hair and this is definitely a favourite. I love the packaging and how eco friendly it is. Another excellent part of the packaging is being able to squeeze the last few drops of of the pouch- AMAZING! No wastage! When using this I loved the added hydrating benefits of plant-based emollients, the strengthening aloe and spirulina extracts too. They did everything I wanted by leaving my hair feeling strong, soft and manageable EVERY SINGLE TIME. The price point is reasonable in my opinion as this is such a nourishing product and I love how my hair looks and feels after using it. I was super excited about this Vox Box! I have extremely dry and damaged hair from a few too many bleaches too close together to go from magenta to bright turquoise colored hair in a short period of time! The ingredients are ingredients. I'm not one who is super concerned with ingredients; I'm more of a "does it work?" kind of person. The smell of the treatment is similar to the conditioner but not as strong with floral perfume notes. The consistency is exactly what I expected it to be and was like a slightly thicker conditioner. I really liked the pouch it was in! I feel like it fit nicely in-between my other bottles. A little bit went a long way when applying. I would do my hair first so that the deep treatment would have as much time as possible. Immediately after the treatment, my hair was much softer and had fewer flyaways than on days without the treatment. The instructions are to use it once a week but I used it every 5 days or so. so, after years of eyeing this brand, only now i have the courage to try. and omg, this conditioner works wonder to my super dry virgin hair after lotsa products tried! for me, this is way much better than olaplex for my hair. the conditioner is thick and small amount can go a long way. my hair now is much softer and shiny (say goodbye to birdnest hair)! just bought another bottle and will use this for how long my hair loves it! the main smell is coconut (i loveil it) and better than the hassle of using real coconut oil in treating hair!

Living in coastal central Florida, the water here is super hard. Pretty much like well water. I have really thick 2b – 3b curly hair which needs a lot of moisture. Now a warning for fine haired individuals! Look elsewhere! It's sure to make finer hair limp. That said, this is the absolute best shampoo/conditioner combo I've ever found (and I'm almost 60 – shhhh!) to tame the follicles of my stands down to make it feel silky, yes, silky. I also use Malibu C's Miracle Repair twice a month, this stuff is what started my Malibu C journey. I honestly can't say enough good things about how these products tame my hair from the inside out! After loving the results I achieved just using the hard water wellness packet I decided to buy this collection. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a nice orange scent, the shampoo bubbles up pretty decent and the conditioner provides light hydration. I would not use this product daily unless You have severe hard water issues. It definitely works as advertised but I would recommend using it in conjunction with a good hydrating conditioner. IMO overall, unless you have major issues with hard water, the wellness packet used once a week is good enough. It works wonders on its own. I keep a minimum of 3 bottles of this on hand at all times! I have one in the shower and one bottle in each of the other bathrooms. I use it to keep my curly hair from looking frizzy. So after I get out of the shower and also on my dry hair, I will put about the size of a quarter dollap of this condtioner in my left hand, then rub my hands together and work the conditioner into every strand I can ! It really works and my hair does not feel greasy. Before using this product, I used Aussie Spray Gel. Smells great, works pretty good. But became hard to find. The OG, my first experience with deep conditioner, still one of the only drugstore conditioners I feel safe defaulting to! Whenever I'm out of town and I don't have shampoo/conditioner, this is the conditioner I always choose.I have waist-length, 2A/2B wavy hair, and I'm extremely protective of my hair, and therefore PICKY about what I use on it. I'm not scared to splurge on hair products, and I find it's usually worth it. But! This offers enough moisture without the roughness and frizz I associate with cheap drugstore hair products. I'm going to try to write this review without crying… the entire [brand:aussie] hair care line caused my hair to fall out and irritated my scalp so bad I scratched till I bled.. it got to the point where I needed my drs help because I was embarrassed, thought maybe alopecia. At first my dr. thought it was just a pregnancy symptom however when it continued after pregnancy he made me bring in my entire face,skin, body and hair routine to find out that the entire [brand:aussie] line contained an ingredient called dm dm hydantion which causes irritations and hair loss. BEWARE online the ingredient lists DO NOT SHOW this ingredient but it is on the bottle's ingredient list itself. I bleached my hair several years ago and it was extremely damaged – split ends, breakage, very soft hair strands that lacked structure. Once I decided that it was time to repair my hair and go back to being a brunette, I found this product and decided to try it out. The smell is amazing first of all – very floral and left me wishing it was a perfume. The consistency is really thick too so it's definitely worth it to wet your hands just a little just to be able to massage it into your hair while you shower. I left the product on my hair for about 5-10 minutes which gave me time to relax or shave. When my hair was really damaged – I would use conditioner first and wash it out and then this product for extra protein and it worked wonders. By itself though, it really helps repair your hair and gives it all the protein your hair needs if it's extremely damaged like my hair was! Would buy this again in heart beat!sarah.l
This product is a great one to use for dry damaged hair. It helps bring it back to life and softens it. We got this along with the hi pro pac Moroccan mend argon oil deep repair masque to help my daughters hair. Their hair became damaged by being over worked, by putting their hair in buns for ballet, and using harsh gels and hair sprays. One of my daughter's hair is straight the other curly. I love this hair mask. I started using it once every two week about 2 years ago and I'm so happy I did. My hair looks and feels so much healthier since starting to use this mask. Firstly, a bit of background information on my hair: I am a natural blonde, but have bleached and dyed my hair (as I went to black then back to blonde a few years ago). My hair shaft is fine but is medium thickness. I have a natural curl to my hair with some frizz, with an oily scalp. I have long hair which is in good condition (as i only blow dry it twice a week and no other heat damage). This product smells absolutely divine! and the smell lasts on your hair all day. I use this after the biolage shampoo, as a conditioner (leave on for 5 minutes) and can also be used as a hair mask. This makes your hair extremely soft, smooth and shiny. I was amazed how healthy my hair looked and keeps getting better with every use due to the deep hydration the product gives. I would only use this once or twice a week as it is very hydrating! Price for this product is very reasonable and a little product goes a long way so it will last a while! The only reason this product gets 4 stars instead of 5 is due to packaging. It can easily slip out of your hands in the shower and looks like a refillable product instead of a finished product (it does not correlate with the aesthetically pleasing packaging of the shampoo and spray), however, the performance of the product out ways this con. The smell is so strong and contains 2 different alcohols. Smells don't generally bother me but this just smells so strong. It is a nice smell but I wish it wasn't suffocatingly strong. This also made my hair so dry. Extremely frizzy and dry. I was scared my hair was going to break off. I have bleached and natural colored hair. My hair isn't damaged but it needed a pick me up since it was feeling slightly dry. This made my hair more dry even using my pureology leave in and an oil. I was hopeful for this but now bummed that it made my hair much worse. My hair was not soft at all from this product. Usually a deep conditioner has a soft almost heavy cream texture but this does not. Right away it felt thin and not conditions at all.Britt
