I bought the 2oz bottle, not a gallon but there's no option for it. So I used the sample sachet of the unscented version and I thought it was good sulfate-free shampoo. I wanted to try a scented one so I bought the 2oz Island Fantasy and I don’t know what went wrong. I had to use way more of the shampoo this time around to even get enough to work through to my scalp. When I rinsed it out this time it felt like my hair was stripped and squeaky and my roots felt tangled. When I used the unscented sample it was soft and felt smooth in my hair when rinsing out. I followed this up with my usual go-to Dove intense moisture conditioner and my hair is not drying the same. It looks dry, feels dry, and the frizz has been real. I’ve been trying to tame it by twisting and clipping it up in a bun all day because of how bad my hair has been looking. Is there a difference between the unscented and Island Fantasy? Really sucks because I’ve been wanting to find a good sulfate-free shampoo to use in between normal sulfate washes, but it seems like none of Jessicurl products work for me.julia.s
One of the things about gels that I run into is it not being being 100% compatible with very season. Some gels are good for all year round, while some gels work their magic best in certain seasons, but this gel right here work’s it’s magic no matter the season or whatever may come up, where your hair needs strong hold and ultimate frizz protection that you can count on truly all day long. This gel is glycerin free, for those who may be interested in such. It does contain alcohol listed as its last ingredient, but alcohol is actually a component t of one of the polyquat’s used in this product. So, alcohol isn’t added separately to this product, for those that may have been wondering. It is on 7/10ths of this product. Also, you do not smell any traces of such when you smell this product at all. The fragrance free version comes completely fragrance free, and this gel has a lightweight consistency (but is not runny), it dries clear, it doesn’t flake, and it gives y hair hold fit more than one day, which for me is a miracle, because with most stylers that I use, I have to refresh my hair with more styling product ASAP every morning. Because, after I sleep on my hair, even with a satin bonnet on, my hair typically be needing some extra help in the mornings, for sure. But, the hold on this product is fantastic. I can use this product on both wet and dry hair without any problems, but I do choose to use Jessicurl’s hairspray (which is alcohol free) to give my hair a quick pick me up or to take flyaways that may pop up in between my hair wash day. They do have a curl refresher within the Jessicurl line, but it just isn’t best suited for my hair unfortunately. But, their hair spray on the other hand works so much better at reviving my hair, whenever needed. This is a very universal gel that was created for all curltypes, all hair textures, and definitely for all races. Maybe I just have the worst luck with hair products or something because it’s such a struggle to find anything that actually works. I purchased a small 2oz bottle of this deep conditioner and I don’t understand what’s deep conditioning about it. It’s super-duper thick and hard to get out of the bottle which seemed like a good thing if it was moisturizing at all. The smell was nice and light but had a hint of a weird crayon smell that the other unscented Jessicurl products have. It had no slip and I was already kind of worried that it would not be moisturizing. I left it on and put a cap on for 30 ish minutes with a towel wrapped around my head to trap heat in. I also periodically used the blow dryer to heat it up inside the towel. I rinsed it all out and then put some argan oil and OGX Moroccan oil and wrapped my hair with a Tshirt. When I was letting it air dry after that, I could tell things were going south with how crispy and frayed my ends were looking. I JUST trimmed my ends a week before as well so this shouldn’t have happened if I deep conditioned my hair. During the drying process, my hair frizzed up a lot and looked super dry and crispy. So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. This was a lovely surprise to trial. I have used many deep treatments since colouring my hair and this is definitely a favourite. I love the packaging and how eco friendly it is. Another excellent part of the packaging is being able to squeeze the last few drops of of the pouch- AMAZING! No wastage! When using this I loved the added hydrating benefits of plant-based emollients, the strengthening aloe and spirulina extracts too. I was super excited about this Vox Box! I have extremely dry and damaged hair from a few too many bleaches too close together to go from magenta to bright turquoise colored hair in a short period of time! The ingredients are ingredients. I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

Oh wow. I see now why this is always sold out on Ipsy points lol! I’ve had this for a while but used it once and forgot about it. I’ve been on a strict finishing my products and it’s now this guys turn… I shampoo, condition my hair, apply this on my damp hair and put a hair towel on to let the product sink in. So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. ⭐️First of all let’s get this out of the way, I was incentivized. I received these samples for free from Influenster and matrix for my honest opinion⭐️ Now that’s out of the way… Oh my hair is loving me right now… I waited until shampoo day and it was well worth it! After using the amazing shampoo I was a little skeptical that my hair would take to this conditioner because it’s so damaged and after I wash it I usually have to put a million and one conditioning products in it just to make it manageable!!! Well let me tell you this is not the case! After issuing a decent size dollop I ran it through my hair starting at the ends and working my way up to the root. Then I added a little bit of water to make it activate a little bit and VIOLA! I let it sit in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse with lukewarm water. I gently towel dry my hair afterwards and went to come through with a white tooth comb. This is the first time that the comb actually ran through my hair because my hair is so damaged. I literally want to cry. If your hair is out of control and it’s breaking to no end you should really try this and give it a little time and you will see such a difference. I have fine wavy colored treated hair. I wash, condition, and apply leave-in conditioner every 2-3 days. I apply the hair mask just once a week. This is a great shampoo and an essential for extremely dry hair. What I love is that the shampoo has a heavy conditioning component already, so when used with the various conditioners you get this double infusion of moisturizer. The Biolage Ultra Hydra Source formula seems to coat and seal the hair, so it is super manageable while smelling like a tropical paradise. When I put the product on my hair, my hair just soaked it in. I have never had a conditioner do that before and when I rinsed it out, my hair was like silk. Pantene Miracle Rescue is a replacement for the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle, which was an excellent conditioner that sold for only four bucks. Sadly it was discontinued and replaced with this conditioner. Miracle Rescue is not quite as good as the 3 Minute Miracle, but it still works well. It starts to work as soon as you put it on and washes out well. The scent is fine, but not a favorite of mine. The big problem with it is that it gets heavy on your hair past the day mark, and can eventually make your hair feel a bit waxy. It also costs over twice the price of the 3 Minute Miracle. However, if you can get it for half off or more, then it is a good choice for a conditioner.iHerb Customer
I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried the Pantene Miracle Rescue last week thanks to Shopper Army. With the temperatures soaring, the heat really had taken a toll on my hair, so the Pantene deep conditioning treatment was a welcome change to my hair care routine. I used it three times in the last week as I loved the result the first time. I used my regular shampoo for my hair and then applied the conditioning treatment to the tips of my hair and towards the roots as directed. I gently massaged product into my hair and left it on for 2 mins and then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. I have long hair below shoulder length and it's colored as well so this product worked well even with my long hair. I usually like to use a little shampoo to wash my hair again so the product doesn't turn my hair greasy but this step was not required as the Pantene Miracle Rescue is so lightweight and leaves hair feeling silky, easy to comb and dry. I love this about the product so I thought let me try it two more times before actually giving a review worked even better the next time and left my hair looking shiny and hydrated so I am happy to recommend this product to anyone who has dry, frizzy hair which needs some care and treatment.Antonia1977

I live in a relatively humid climate and yet that still doesn't seem to be enough! When I tried the Pantene Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment, that I was generously provided in return to provide a very honest review, I agreed. Not only do I have colour treated hair, I have to wash my hair every day for my profession and naturally really curly! I used a good amount for my first try and worked it threw my hair down to the ends. I could tell by the texture and the feel of my hair under the water after 3 plus minutes, that it already felt silky smooth, hydrated and not "scratchy, brittle etc". I've tried some deep conditioning treatments and they feel great until everything rinses right out of your hair! Not, Pantene Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment! It maintained its "just quenched look" with no weigh down when it dried. If I were to compare this to a skin product it would be more like a mask to ultimately hydrate. I love how it conditions my dry brittle hair and makes them smooth and soft. I shampoo and then apply this on my wet locks. Then I either have a nice warm bath or a long shower after which I rinse it off. My hair feels hydrated and stronger. My hair is so so soft after using this deep conditioner. It remains soft for days, even after blow drying and straightening. Would recommend! My only complaint is that the conditioner leaks out of packaging very easily when stored. There's not an easy way to store it between washes other than a plastic baggy or clip, and I still experienced the product leaking out. I lost about 1/4 of the bag just from it leaking. So after I get out of the shower and also on my dry hair, I will put about the size of a quarter dollap of this condtioner in my left hand, then rub my hands together and work the conditioner into every strand I can ! The OG, my first experience with deep conditioner, still one of the only drugstore conditioners I feel safe defaulting to! I have had this bottle of L’Oréal Paris Hair Expert Extraordinary Oils Nourishing Conditioner in my rotation for a couple of months now. I purchased it at Target for under $5. I like the L’Oréal ELVIVE line for their color care and conditioning products specifically. This one has a thicker texture than most creamy conditioners and a shea butter like fragrance. It provides a fair amount of slip to the hair when applied. This product does work well as a conditioner for my dry, curly hair but can be heavy and weigh it down if not used sparingly. I find I only use it now when I need deep conditioning and apply it following Olaplex . Because it can leave an almost oily residue on my hair when I use enough to fully coat all of my hair, I now also only apply this on the mid-lengths to ends of my hair. I do not recommend scalp application. Overall, this is a nice product for deep conditioning and hydration but would not be ideal if you have fine hair or are prone to having an oily scalp.leigh.l
Loreal Elvive is one of my favorite affordable brands when it comes to hair care. The Loreal Elvive range has a wide variety of products that are made to combat a specific hair problem. I have used some like the Full Restoration (White) to combat most problems/all hair types, the Color Protection (Red) range to protect color treated hair, the Fibrology (Blue) range to defend against hair loss. I loved them both and they suit my hair type.The last thing I used before the clay range was the fibrology range and I really liked it so I decided to try the new one too. Almost all of us have oily roots and that's why I thought I'd try the new Extraordinary Clay range. I had high hopes as all the other ranks were amazing. But unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations or rather it did not suit my hair type. I found it very dry on my hair. Had itchy scalp after use. Which is not a good look at all. I tried moisturizing my hair with coconut oil and then following the routine but it still didn't work for me. Kept my hair feeling very dry and losing moisture and shine. I would try the new Extraordinary Oil range. I have high hopes for that as well and will keep you updated on that.
I used to always use the Elvive Shampoo and Conditioner for my hair before moving to mainly using Amika products. I thought these were great staple products to have in your collection as they are affordable, easy to find at any store, smell good, and come with a lot of product that doesn’t run out quickly. I have really thick, dry hair so these added moisture and hydration to my hair as well as helping with tangles and smoothing out my hair. However, since finding better products with less chemicals, I haven’t really went back to using these. I feel like in the long run, they didn’t keep my hair healthy and I would have to wash my hair way more often as I would get really greasy quickly.gina.c

This is a great product for deep hydration. I love John freida and have many of their products in my bathroom, for anyone who hasn’t tried this brand I recommend you do, it’s a great brand for controlling frizz. I have thick hair and like to use this mask one a week for hydration. It contains avocado oil to feed and nourish my hair and leaves my hair really shiny and soft. It’s a great price and lasts for ages. It’s so simple to use, I keep it in the shower and after shampooing and rinsing I apply this to my hair and concentrate on the ends then leave for five minutes. It makes my hair really easy to style and free of frizz, my hair is sleek and smooth and hydrated when iv used this. It smells great and has a creamy consistency though when it’s all rinsed out it never weights my hair down, my hair is bouncy and looks like it’s been professionally done. Have been using this shampoo for years but it seems to have been reformulated. The name of the shampoo ‘miraculous recovery’ is the same, but the bottle now has a golden swirl on it. I thought it was just packaging redesign but the product itself is very different. Smells totally different, and leaves hair flat and lifeless. I bought the large size as it’s the shampoo I usually use. Straight in the bin and won’t repurchase. Very annoyed as thought I was buying the usual product… really think there should be clear label to indicate new fragrance and new formulation.MrsB

I was excited to try the product as I've heard of this brand and it gets good reviews. My hair is very tightly coiled and dense so I need a product that will provide moisture without weighing it down. The packaging is pretty & comes in a heavy metal bottle. The pump was a little challenging to use but I am unsure if it is user error or a faulty device. The conditioner smells great in my opinion & makes me want to continue using it. It has string vanilla notes but is not overbearing or obnoxious. It didn't provide a lot of slip to it which caused detailing to be a bit of a challenge. My hair wraps around itself quite a bit and detangling is a must. It was not very easy with this conditioner. It left my hair relatively soft but I am unsure of its long term effects. I will see how it is once my hair dries and will try it on my son if it doesn't work perfectly for my hair type. Came to the realization that just after using this shampoo & conditioner three times that I can run my fingers through my hair and get clumps coming out. I have very long healthy hair; use heat less than 10 times a year. Only change is these products. I saw one recommendation in a Facebook group, but should've realized that after not being able to find the girls post again that it was probably a negative thing, but how was I to know. After the first use all was fine and seemed like a nice product then to notice that my hair got greasy three times as fast. I trained my hair to only need to be fully washed once a week, and it looked greasy in just two days. The shampoo didn't feel like it cleaned at all. My scalp has an irritated burning feeling to it now. The hair that would come out had the white bulb from falling out at the root. My scalp is dry as ever. I cherish my hair and am in my early/mid 20's; definitely should not be experiencing hair loss! If I could warn every person, who even thinks of purchasing this product, I would! This is a great conditioner- it really does leave my hair feeling soft and healthy, and it has helped significantly with split ends and breakage. However, a few things to keep in mind (which is why I removed a star). First, a little bit goes a long way! I have very long hair and usually use quite a bit of conditioner. The first time I used Mane Magic, I used way too much. It took awhile to rinse out and once my hair dried, it had a heavy, oily feel that traveled up to my roots (even though I never apply conditioner close to my roots). I fixed it with a little dry shampoo, but had to shampoo again the following day. The good thing is that this product will definitely last awhile, but just be careful with how much you're applying. Secondly, it doesn't feel very nourishing when applying, but when you rinse out it feels amazingly soft (probably why I put too much on). Thirdly, I could not get the pump to work for the life of me- it seemed like the spring was stuck?SM12342

I just had my fine a bit past shoulder length hair highlighted and this was the first thing I used two shampoos in a row. My hair feels and looks so great after this treatment. Smells divine. I’ve always wanted to try this brand since I have heard a lot about it from friends and coworkers, but since my hair is naturally curly, I am very particular about the brands/products I use in my hair. I can confidentially say Pureology might just be one of my go to brands now. I love that this brand uses no sulfates, parabens, formaldehyde or mineral oils to name a few. The smell is divine, which is mainly of the Camelina Oil, the Olive oil gives my hair such a shine, and the coconut oil leaves my hair feeling soft and frizz free and so much more healthier looking than before. I absolutely love this mask and can’t say enough about it. I have hardly if ever had an experience where my coworkers noticed how “healthy” my hair looked and that’s a big win for me. I have been using the For Hers shampoo and hair conditioner plus the biotin gummies for two years and it has made my hair feel the best it has in years. Due to hormonal changes my hair started getting thinner, so I thought I’d try this to add to my collection. Tried it today and first off couldn’t comb my hair wet, and secondly it felt so matted and brittle that it pulled my hair from the root when trying to dry it. This mask made my hair feel dirty and tangled. Very hard to brush through and got tangled up all day. I thought maybe I was supposed to condition afterwards so tried it again a week later and it was the same. Felt like it left a residue and made my ends look fried and brittle. I’ve been trying to repair my hair after damaging it a couple of years ago and this treatment set me way back. I don’t know how they can sell this as a repair mask when all it did was damage my hair. I was hoping a product dedicated to curly hair would be some what decent but apparently not. I'd say my hair is healthy takes in moisture very easy never extremely dry BUT when i used this deep conditioner it was definitely not Heaven in my Hair. I noticed as soon as i put it on it wasn't melting in i pilled globs of it on my ends i let it sit for almost 10 minutes I couldn't even get my brush through my hair! I received this product to review through a cashback program. I have curly hair and have tried a devacurl product in the past but overall don't have much experience with devacurl products. In general, I thought the scent of this product was a bit strong and perfume-y which I wasn't a big fan of. I like subtle scents more so this was a little overpowering for me. I will say that my hair was very thirsty, dry, and not very soft. I feel that this product worked well to hydrate my hair and give it some new life. I've been primarily using Heave in hair to do a "quick" deep conditioner in the shower, as it's more moisturizing than regular conditioner. I usually leave it in for a minute, then rinse it out right there. It works really well in that use case. One extra star for that. Well, last Saturday, I finally decided to use this as intended. I lathered it on after conditioning and then left it in for twenty minutes. When I tell you that was a mistake… I rinsed it out and my hair had gone straight to wet frizz town. My clumps were also really messy. Not even brushing my hair with my denman brush helped. I style and dry and my curls have no definition and are really, really dry. They're crackly to the touch. Look at the pic! It's pure chaos. No deep conditioning treatment has ever left my hair like this. What an embarrassment! If you'd like to stay with the Deva brand, try the sea repair mask instead. After trying a free sample of Sebastian Drench shampoo and conditioner years ago, I fell in love with the products! I have used other high end products for color treated hair, but none made my hair feel like the Sebastian does. Soft, silky and tangle free! The scent is mild and pleasant. After I let the conditioner sit for a few minutes, I comb it through with a wide tooth comb. Never a tangle. My hair is highlighted several times a year and It is not bleach damaged. Highly recommend! The only thing I DO NOT LIKE is that it is very difficult to squeeze the products out of their containers! Sebastian, please address this!Spanish moss and coastal breezes
This is the Sebastian drench conditioner and it retails for $17.50. This is the regular conditioner, not the deep version. Advertised as Intense nourishment for dry, brittle hair. I was disappointed in this product. My husband has naturally dry hair that has never been dyed. The product has a strong perfume scent that lingers. Strong enough that i can smell it for a few hours after he uses it. Definitely didn’t make hair “silky”, just made it a little more manageable. I still felt like his hair was dull and lacked shine. Despite continued use, just didn’t help with the drynessjolie.d
