So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. This was a lovely surprise to trial. I have used many deep treatments since colouring my hair and this is definitely a favourite. I love the packaging and how eco friendly it is. Another excellent part of the packaging is being able to squeeze the last few drops of of the pouch- AMAZING! No wastage! When using this I loved the added hydrating benefits of plant-based emollients, the strengthening aloe and spirulina extracts too. They did everything I wanted by leaving my hair feeling strong, soft and manageable EVERY SINGLE TIME. I was super excited about this Vox Box! I have extremely dry and damaged hair from a few too many bleaches too close together to go from magenta to bright turquoise colored hair in a short period of time! The ingredients are ingredients. I'm not one who is super concerned with ingredients; I'm more of a "does it work?" kind of person. The smell of the treatment is similar to the conditioner but not as strong with floral perfume notes. The consistency is exactly what I expected it to be and was like a slightly thicker conditioner. I really liked the pouch it was in! I feel like it fit nicely in-between my other bottles. A little bit went a long way when applying. I would do my hair first so that the deep treatment would have as much time as possible. I tried this product in two ways. I tried it as it was recommended, which was to use heat for deeper penetration and the other was leaving the deep conditioner on for 30-40 minutes. I feel like doing it these ways got me the samw result which is great for people who dont like using heat at all. Using this helped me detangle my hair because it gave enough slip from how moisturizing it is. Also, my half of my hair has been bleached twice and the color immediately after. That side of my hair had been limp for so long until i started using this for weeks. I want to add emphasis on weeks because its not a fast process and it took multiple uses to start seeing my curl pattern get stronger. My only complaint is that spreading it can be a little bit hard and you might have to use alot to fully saturate the hair if you long hair. This is also not buttery enough for curlier hair, like 3c to 4c hair. (in the picture i did finger coil my hair but everything i said still is relevant. Oh wow. I see now why this is always sold out on Ipsy points lol! I’ve had this for a while but used it once and forgot about it. I’ve been on a strict finishing my products and it’s now this guys turn… I shampoo, condition my hair, apply this on my damp hair and put a hair towel on to let the product sink in. After a few minutes I use a hair dryer and then I use a Soleil round blow drying brush. I SWEAR I feel like I went to the salon and it’s all because of this product!!!!!!! ⭐️First of all let’s get this out of the way, I was incentivized. I received these samples for free from Influenster and matrix for my honest opinion⭐️ Now that’s out of the way… Oh my hair is loving me right now… I waited until shampoo day and it was well worth it! After using the amazing shampoo I was a little skeptical that my hair would take to this conditioner because it’s so damaged and after I wash it I usually have to put a million and one conditioning products in it just to make it manageable!!! Well let me tell you this is not the case! After issuing a decent size dollop I ran it through my hair starting at the ends and working my way up to the root. Then I added a little bit of water to make it activate a little bit and VIOLA! I let it sit in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse with lukewarm water. I gently towel dry my hair afterwards and went to come through with a white tooth comb. This is the first time that the comb actually ran through my hair because my hair is so damaged. I literally want to cry. If your hair is out of control and it’s breaking to no end you should really try this and give it a little time and you will see such a difference. I want to wash my hair so badly again but I know I have to wait till it’s actually dirty! The smell is so lovely and it doesn’t fade away but it’s also not overbearing. Give it a try it!! What I love is that the shampoo has a heavy conditioning component already, so when used with the various conditioners you get this double infusion of moisturizer. The Biolage Ultra Hydra Source formula seems to coat and seal the hair, so it is super manageable while smelling like a tropical paradise. When I put the product on my hair, my hair just soaked it in. I have never had a conditioner do that before and when I rinsed it out, my hair was like silk. I received a deluxe sample of this and the Briogeo Copy of Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo from Sephora. The scrub I loved and I bought a full size one. The mask I put away because I had cut my hair real short at the beginning of the pandemic, and then forgot about it until I saw good reviews for it on influenster. Now that my hair is longer I decided to give it a try. It was really liquidy. At first I thought it was because it was old, but I looked online and I guess they changed the formula and now it's thinner than my conditioner. I put a lot on my hair because it was hard to know if it was working because I'm used to a thicker hairmask, when I saw it has rose hip oil in it which I'm allergic to so I rinsed it out well before the recommended 10 minutes. My hair looks nice after using. But even if I wasn't allergic to an ingredient the thin texture I don't like and it makes me feel like I have to use a lot, given the price I just think there are better hairmasks for a better price out there. Yes my hair looks nice even after using just a few minutes, but not nice enough to justify the price.
I need a haircut right now, so my 3b curls are looser than usual. Usually, I have a fairly tight spiral curl throughout, but my hair is overall fine. I need something to hold my curls together without frizz to keep the curls intact. I keep my hair long, but I need the dead ends trimmed. I don't regularly use a hair masking product, but I got this in an Allure box for this February. After one use, my hair was shiny, and my curls were tighter than they've been in months. It felt like I had a trim at the salon. My hair was very soft and bouncy, even with my usual styling products. My curls still held well despite how soft this product made my hair. I am very happy with the results and will use it again. The smell is pleasant but doesn't linger over my other styling products as well. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review from Briogeo and Octoly. I was excited to try Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair deep conditioning hair mask. I have blonde highlighted hair that is very long and heat styled and I also have some hair extensions currently so moisturizing products as well as sulfate products with no sulfate in them are important to me. I have used Briogeo products before and been pleased with the results. Overall I would say my results were average. I used the product twice, so maybe since it was you need to use it three times before you get two times stronger hair I would need to get one more use to get there? I liked that it felt thick going on my hair, not too watered down. But I did not care or the smell, it was actually slightly unpleasant to me, I could not put my finger on it. I normally use Olaplex as my conditioner and I like a conditioner that does not weigh my hair down and allows my hair to hold a style this one did that not as well as olaplex but better than most products do. I will continue to use it and see if my hair improves. Overall I think it’s a good product but it may be just a bit heavy for someone with flat thinner hair.lisa.z

I received this mask complimentary from Alterna Haircare. My long and wavy hair is dry, frizzy and is prone to damage, split ends and breakage. Especially during the cold winter months my hair is extra dry and needs extra care. This mask is just the extra boost my hair needs! I apply the mask evenly through my damp hair mid-length to the ends. It is absorbed nicely. I leave it in for about ten minutes. I then thoroughly rinse my hair. This treatment makes my hair feel so soft and it does not leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy. My hair is easy to comb through and my hair looks shiny, healthy and less dull. I was so excited to try the gifted by Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Restructuring Bond Repair Masque and was not disappointed. I have a balayage and my hair is curly so my hair is damaged and frizzy. This masque really got in deep and moisturized my hair repairing it and reducing the frizz and breakage as well. My curls are more defined since they have more moisture and less frizz to them. My hair feels stronger after using this masque since there is less breakage too. My hair is also softer and shiner which I love and just all over healthier looking and feeling. In order to return to my natural silver/white I had my long dyed hair professionally stripped of dye. In spite of having now platinum hair it took several years for my natural thick hair to grow to shoulder length. In order to keep the frizz and damage under control especially in raining or humid conditions I applied and combed a small amounted immediately after washing and then again after styling. On those days between washing when I couldn’t control the weather I did the same. This is not heavy or oily but start with just a dab. This jar last as long as a year and I highly recommend especially for highly processed damaged hair.Genie421

This is such a good dc. I don't know why it's not talked about more in the curly community. This is moisturizing without the weight. It has just the right amount/ combination of protein to help moisturize and spring up my waves. It has a super thick, whipped consistency that I was initially concerned about being that I have fine hair that over moisturizes and gets weighed down easily. I put this on after a clarifying wash with a couple of processing caps and it was sooo buttery and slippy when rinsing out. My hair did not lose structure or fall flat over the next few days. It also has an intoxicating scent that is not strong and dissipates quickly so no headache for anyone scent sensitive. It is literally the best I've tried.. will definitely be a staple for years to come. Please don't change anything about this! If you're on the fence about this, don't be! I'm sure this is really good for your hair but I didn't like it at all. First, I felt like I had to use half the bottle to even get a little bit of lather and cover my whole head. I have been using the For Hers shampoo and hair conditioner plus the biotin gummies for two years and it has made my hair feel the best it has in years. Due to hormonal changes my hair started getting thinner, so I thought I’d try this to add to my collection. Tried it today and first off couldn’t comb my hair wet, and secondly it felt so matted and brittle that it pulled my hair from the root when trying to dry it. This mask made my hair feel dirty and tangled. Very hard to brush through and got tangled up all day. I thought maybe I was supposed to condition afterwards so tried it again a week later and it was the same. Felt like it left a residue and made my ends look fried and brittle. I’ve been trying to repair my hair after damaging it a couple of years ago and this treatment set me way back. I don’t know how they can sell this as a repair mask when all it did was damage my hair. I normally used Wells shampoo and conditioner, then Sexy Hair styling products. When I saw the Sexy Hair products on sale, I gave Vibrant Sexy a try and it cleans, conditions, tamed. I have noticed my color hasn't faded in the least (Three weeks out)! My hair seems to drink up the moisture. I use several products and recommend using the blow dry cream and rose elixer. I am 47 with thick curly hair combined with areas of thinner, less curly hair with and color about every five to six weeks to cover gray, then foil highlights. My hair used to look overprocessed. This is the only shampoo and conditioner that I will finish the entire bottle before tossing away! I have fine, medium density colored hair and it's perfect! Not only does it smell amazing but it retains my color foreverrr and it doesn't weigh my hair down. My hair is always so smooth and shiny after washing. My hair looks and feels great (everything from JVN gets results) but the smell is a hard pass for me. I love the scents of all 5 JVN hair products I have used so far… except this. The musk or patchouli is VERY strong (and I have some bad associations of past experience with musk so… eh it has been a weird day as a result). It's been 14 hours since I used this on my hair and I am trying to go to sleep, still needing to keep my hair away from my nose. None of the other products I have used have had such lasting scent. This comes in a metal tube. I just don't understand why, because it is not as thick as many deep condition hair masks. I have a metal tube squeezing key for my hand cream, which I used with this to minimise wastage and was easy to dispense. I think one of these kesy should be included with the product. The mask itself was fantastic. I left in on for a while, and was able to detangle my hair easily. The scent was not as strong as the shampoo but very noticeable. My hair dried softer and less frizzy. Suggested usage is only once a week because it packs a punch considering it has a thinner consistency, almost like a regular conditioner. As a woman with wavy hair that frizzes horribly whenever the humidity is high, and let's be honest, the humidity is high in the Southeast, I thought I'd try out Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner. I purchased my product at a local Sally's Beauty Supply, and they said that if I didn't like the product that I could return it, which is a win win situation for the customer. What I didn't realize until I was using the product is that for the best results, Biotera recommends using not only the shampoo and conditioner but the leave in conditioner as well. Since I didn't buy the leave in conditioner, my review is solely on the shampoo and conditioner. For those of you who don't like a strong scent, then you'll be pleased with the light scent of this product. The aroma has hints of cinnamon apple. Where I love the scent of cinnamon and apple, I personally don't care for the two scents to be mixed together, so this was a negative for me, even with it being lightly scented. Despite me not using the leave in conditioner, the products worked exceptionally well on my hair while we had several days of rain. There was the slightest bit of frizz, but that was nothing compared to how bad my hair normally frizzes in the rain. I was very pleased with the results. The pricing is a little bit higher for the Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner than what I pay for TRESemmé or Herbal Essences. So I really loved this shampoo when I first started using it. My hair felt nice and shiny. I've been using it about 3 months now and in the last month or so I've noticed my scalp is crazy dry and itchy. I figured it was the Arizona sun, until I realized my hair has thinned about 50%. I thought I was crazy until my esthetician pointed it out as well. I have tried the original and the generic version and while there's a slight difference, it is not enough to make worth the price difference. Biolage shampoo has a delightfully clean and fresh smell to it. Lather is nice but it stripped the heck out of my color. Yes I should have used the color safe version but I didn't and so here we are. Ha! I do feel that it stripped TOO much from my hair in terms of natural oils. Left my hair a bit "squeaky" and flat. Naturally I have fine, slightly oily, super soft hair. However, for the first time in my life, all of the highlighting, heat exposure, harsh product, etc, it had become coarse and brittle, (especially around my hairline regrowth). I used this treatment yesterday as directed, and for the full length. I could tell right away by combing it wet that it was an improvement, as there were no tangles! Once it dried I was so impressed! It is super soft and silky, NOT AT ALL brittle!! I can run my fingers through it without snagging in a knot or tangle, and best of all, when I brushed this morning, there was no hair in the brush, and no broken fly-aways littering the bathroom floor!! I will buy this again without a doubt, and highly recommend! BTW, I never write reviews, let alone long ones like this! It's that good IMO.J

Found this brand by accident about a couple years ago, then it was discontinued in Indonesia. So happy to find out iHerb sells this brand. This particular series from Marc Anthony is really my hair HG, this is the closest thing I can get to those amazing box-dye conditioner which is so moisturizing. This is pricey, I know. But it has been really worth it for me. I actually use masks instead of conditioner as I have thirsty hair that is prone to being frizzy if I dont give it enough moisture. I use this mask and the AVEDA strengthening mask on rotation and my hair is seeing reduced breakage as well as general improved softness.Loulabello
I’m still trialing this product on my hair and trying to figure out what products it works best with, but I’d say it’s definitely an intense hydrating mask, great for when your hair needs that extra pampering after lots of heat styling. As with the shampoo, I don't feel that this offers enough to the condition of my hair and is too heavily fragrance. Don't get me wrong I'm not fragrance adverse, I just prefer to have something more subtle next to my face as fragrance can cause skin reactions if used in too high a concentration. If this changed my hair I might put up with that, but it doesn't. Just a temporary gloss to the hair but nothing I can't get elsewhere with more lasting benefits. I have been coloring/bleaching/highlighting my hair for as long as I can remember. Although I take good care of my hair, it has definitely suffered over the years from general maintenance and treatments. I use deep conditioners at different intervals for different purposes. These can get really expensive really quickly. I was excited to try BondFix as I had heard really good things about them but for whatever reason had not yet gotten a chance to try their products. I decided to put this on my hair dry. This is unconventional, and I know that most people usually use conditioner on wet hair, but I like to do this so I can take a shower afterward and really get a good amount of processing time. I went through my routine and blow-dry after. My hair looked wonderful. The conditioner had sealed my split ends hence the bonding effect, and it was as soft as silk. I used 1/2 a packet because I don't like over conditioning as it tends to weigh my hair down. I think it was the perfect amount. I swim laps 2-3 times a week in a clorinated mineral rich hot springs pool. The pool recommended and sells Ultraswim shampoo and conditioner. I've been using it for about two years. It keeps my hair healthy and free from discoloration. It's important to work the conditioner into the hair and leave it on for about 3 minutes. I'm then able to comb through my medium length hair without breaking though tangles. It leaves my fine textured hair soft and not oily. I only use ultraswim shampoo and conditioner after swimming. I received this from Influenster and Sebastian complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I am so thankful to have received this hair mask. I have super fine hair and it is easily damaged by the natural elements of daily life and daily styling. I have had a hard time finding a hair treatment that would work well with my fine hair. Sebastian Penetraitt masque is the holy grail of hair treatments! I only used about a quarter sized amount to cover my whole head. It is a very thick formula, but spreads very easily into your hair. I applied it after my shampoo to lightly damp hair and I left it on for about 5 minutes while I was still in the shower. Upon rinsing my hair I could already tell a huge difference in the texture of my hair. Once I was out of the shower I applied my usual OGX silk blowout quick drying thermal spray. And then styled my hair as usual. The only thing I changed in my routine was the Sebastian penetraitt hair masque. My results are phenomenal! This did not weigh my hair down at all. I have so much bounce and life back into my hair. It’s not oily or greasy, just perfectly conditioned. I highly recommend this product for all hair types. I have very fine hair with an oily scalp and dry ends. Many deep conditioners leave my hair weighed down after use but this one doesn't, but on the flip side it doesn't leave my hair very moisturized either. I tried it a few different ways in addition to just following the directions the first few times, I left it on for 10 minutes (no real difference), put it on dry hair and let it sit for 10 minutes (slightly more moisturizing than normal), and just used it as a regular conditioner. I ended up using the whole bottle and liked it best as a daily conditioner. I don't think I would go out and purchase this on my own I like my normal daily conditioner better. It's been a struggle to find a good middle ground on a deep conditioner and I'll still be looking. The pros: a relatively quick deep treatment (only 2 minutes), doesn't make my scalp oily or weigh hair down, does add some moisture. The cons: I didn't notice much of a difference from my normal conditioner, not as moisturizing as I would hope for a deep conditioner, didn't notice any strengthening qualities after use.ashley.h
I had a baby a year ago and shortly after chopped 14 inches off my hair. The sheer amount of PP hair loss at the length it was became stressful. Fast forward to about 6 months ago, it has aggressively came back. Almost like a second set of hair. It’s about 5 inches of regrowth plus i admittedly have not cut or timed since. Lately it’s really long and just unruly. I wouldn’t say dry as i have very oily scalp just not cooperating. I was reluctant to try any mask as i have oily hair. I cannot believe what this stuff does to my hair. Shiny curls that hold together with no frizz. You don’t need any crazy lengthy process with a million steps. Just put this in your hair while it’s soaking wet, comb it through, and let it dry. You can scrunch or use a diffuser if you want, but you will end up with glorious curls even if you don’t! I used this product after I had taken out box braids that I had in for roughly three months. After shampooing my hair I used the Moringa & Avocado Power Greens Reconstructor as a conditioner. I used a pretty generous amount since this was the first time in a while my hair and scalp were able to have a proper conditioning. I applied the product to my hair in three sections from root to ends. The directions on the jar suggest leaving the Power Greens Reconstructor in your hair for 10-15 minutes but, I would say that I left in my hair for about five minutes just because I was already in the shower and I didn’t want to be in there much longer because I had already completed my other “in shower” tasks. The consistency and smell of the Power Greens Reconstructor is really nice. Unlike some hair masque’s that are heavy and tend to weigh hair down, the Power Greens Reconstructor’s is the perfect balance of a masque and a simple wash out conditioner. The scent of this product is bright with both fruity and subtle floral notes. The Power Greens Reconstructor rinsed out of my hair very easily and I didn’t have triple rinse my hair as I sometimes have to do with some wash out conditioners.
