I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. This hair care product is now one of my must have! I cut off using conditioner part of my hair care routine and decided to use on deep conditioners now that the harsh winter days are coming in. This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

Hopefully this is a helpful review because I address some of the complaints I saw before writing this. My hair stylist suggested I use this shampoo, however because I have an extremely sensitive scalp( I even have to use steroids on my scalp a couple times a week) so I still only use Free&Clean shampoo & conditioner directly on my scalp which I wash twice because of oil build up. But then I use the Redken Blue Toning shampoo on the rest of my hair just not the scalp.. my hair is down to my butt and very thick and wavy so I use a lot of product. I've read reviews saying it doesn't lather, but honestly it lathers really well and I'm guessing they must have so much oil in their hair they haven't done a quick wash and rinse first or use too much daily product so they probably need to wash twice anyways. I have the shampoo sit on my hair for 5 minutes. During that time I rinse off the shower curtain and walls to wash away the blue (c'mon people… it will only stain if you let it sit) then I rinse out and have the conditioner sit for 5 minutes and it is NIGHT & DAY from when I used to get highlights. I started using this right after highlights and after almost 2 months my color still looks perfect without the brassy or red. I wished I had this the past 10 years because my hair has faded copper/brassy my whole life. I'm obsessed and will continue using on all my hair and just avoiding the scalp! i was recommended this by chris wenzel on youtube, hes a pro hair stylist. i have more straight than wavy, frizzy, oily scalp and very dry ends with some breakage (from permanent hair coloring) i used this 4 times. i shower every 4 days. in those weeks i had so much hair loss. clumps in the shower, clumps out of the shower. i was noticing tons of fallen hairs everywhere! i didnt change anything in my routine beside this shampoo. i was freaking out! my scalp was burning and itchy, but my hair looked amazing! i was so sad i couldnt use it anymore. i didnt have anymore salon brand shampoos in my house. only green apple suave (guest bathroom backup) and my hair fall instantly stopped! after a week of washing with suave my hair was back to a few hairs falling a day.(normal) im sorry redken.. i will stick to only your conditioners. frizz dismiss is amazing.dre
I bought previous version of this shampoo and I loved it very much. It was perfect for me. New formula is not the same, unfortunately. I have thin natural hair which gets dirty every day, so I wash it every morning. With previous formula of this shampoo I could wash my hair once per two days and it really gave me a little volume. But now I don't get any kind of volume, my hair is flat. I use this shampoo with Redken Volume conditioner and my hair don't feel any volume at all. Also my hair gets greasy by the end of a day. This product is very concentrated, lathers great, smells amazing. But doesn't work for my hair type. If you have normal or dry hair, probably, you will like the results.Helga

It really brings out the natural curl in my hair. I prefer using clarifying shampoo and then leaving this on for 15 minutes. My hair feels noticeably soft and healthy. I never knew how curly my hair naturally was until I started using this. I would say I would have identified my hair as 2A before using this mask and a 2C after. I basically look like Taylor Swift on her debut album now. I do think it is expensive but for what it does I am happy with the price for it. I find that I do not use much at all each time I use it so it lasts a long time. I have experienced hair loss with it but nothing that would worry me. This conditioner left my hair silky and soft. It claims to detangle the hair and that’s true. Other than that I didn’t notice anything special about this. I think it does the job for softening and detangling and that’s about it. The other claims I don’t know about. It’s also overpriced for something that’s not special. I can get something cheaper that does the same thing. The reason why it only has 3 stars is because of the smell. It doesn’t smell that good. It reminds me of a more masculine scent. I smell musk or a woody note. I know many people like that and for me, it’s OK. I rather have a more feminine scent for my hair products. This and olaplex literally saved my hair. I got married two weeks ago and my hair was wrecked. The stylist who colored it slightly over bleached it the week before – no big deal, just made it a little drier. THEN we went swimming at the Rehearsal dinner, and my dad didn’t mention he had shocked to pool. The next day my hair was straw. I have my staple haircare now, it took me YEARS to find the right brand and way of doing it. This is not one I will be adding to my routine. Glad I got the travel sized one! This is a really decent option for those that want a silicone-free, medium to slightly heavier moisture, and plan to use it frequently. When I did use it, I found that for my hair it reacted more like my conditioner than a hair mask. Now this is MY personal experience! Pantene Miracle Rescue is a replacement for the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle, which was an excellent conditioner that sold for only four bucks. Sadly it was discontinued and replaced with this conditioner. Miracle Rescue is not quite as good as the 3 Minute Miracle, but it still works well. It starts to work as soon as you put it on and washes out well. The scent is fine, but not a favorite of mine. The big problem with it is that it gets heavy on your hair past the day mark, and can eventually make your hair feel a bit waxy. It also costs over twice the price of the 3 Minute Miracle. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried the Pantene Miracle Rescue last week thanks to Shopper Army. With the temperatures soaring, the heat really had taken a toll on my hair, so the Pantene deep conditioning treatment was a welcome change to my hair care routine. I used it three times in the last week as I loved the result the first time. I used my regular shampoo for my hair and then applied the conditioning treatment to the tips of my hair and towards the roots as directed. I gently massaged product into my hair and left it on for 2 mins and then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. I have long hair below shoulder length and it's colored as well so this product worked well even with my long hair. I usually like to use a little shampoo to wash my hair again so the product doesn't turn my hair greasy but this step was not required as the Pantene Miracle Rescue is so lightweight and leaves hair feeling silky, easy to comb and dry. I love this about the product so I thought let me try it two more times before actually giving a review worked even better the next time and left my hair looking shiny and hydrated so I am happy to recommend this product to anyone who has dry, frizzy hair which needs some care and treatment.Antonia1977

I live in a relatively humid climate and yet that still doesn't seem to be enough! When I tried the Pantene Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment, that I was generously provided in return to provide a very honest review, I agreed. Not only do I have colour treated hair, I have to wash my hair every day for my profession and naturally really curly! I used a good amount for my first try and worked it threw my hair down to the ends. I could tell by the texture and the feel of my hair under the water after 3 plus minutes, that it already felt silky smooth, hydrated and not "scratchy, brittle etc". I've tried some deep conditioning treatments and they feel great until everything rinses right out of your hair! Not, Pantene Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment! This deep conditioner is amazing. It provides hydration, makes the hair feel healthier and smoother, clumps curls, gets rid of frizz, and makes hair feel stronger. I’ve used it twice so far and it will be my new go-to protein treatment. This mask does contain protein and is very strengthening so beware if you’re protein sensitive or just use less often. Also this mask is more hydrating than moisturizing. So think plumping and juicy not buttery and emollient. This mask does exactly what it says it’s going to do on the container. Wow!!! All I can say is wow!!💫😭. It smells lemony❤️ I put this product on a medium to small sized section on my hair to test it out, my hair immediately became soft. Though I used it on a small section, I know my hair will love it on wash day. It is worth the price. After washing it out, it was soft, plump, and hydrated. A lot of deep conditioners are moisturizing when you put it on but when you wash it afterwards, it doesn't feel moisturizing and soft. This plumping deep conditioner did not feel that way!!!! My hair loved it immediately. Mind you, I have very tight, thick, and coarse 4c hair. It is a struggle at times to deal with, which ends in me neglecting my hair a lot. I am a working college student who also is a woman of faith in Christ. I get really busy and I just don't have the full on wash day time to attend to my hair. I was looking for some reviews for this but couldn’t find any that were satisfactory enough for me. So here is mine… The scent is strong of citrus. Almost like lemon and I think that’s because it has lemongrass in it. I like to leave reviews after multiple uses but I know this will help someone. This left my hair moisturized. I washed it and slightly towel dried it then applied this thoroughly from roots to end. It’s thick but not as dense as the elongating twisting cream. I then used the multi use oil to seal it then put it up and placed a plastic cap over it for 30 minutes. When I took the cap off it was very soft and moisturized. I rinsed it thoroughly and felt it after and it felt moisturized. I’m repeating that word because that is what the product did for me. Some softness but it really didn’t impart softness like that albeit I did have some softness but nothing extra ordinarily noticeable or feel-able. If you have dry hair I believe this will work well for you. It rinsed well in the shower as well. I used the leave in after rinsing this out well and plated my hair down in sections. That’s the best way it retains moisture imo if it’s either plated or braided down. After I’ve used this 3+ times I’ll leave another review. Hope this helps someone…. Oh yea for reference, in case anyone is wondering, my hair is considered a 3. The letter that pairs with it is dependent on the day and weather. I didn’t receive anything for this review. I know this review is lengthy but only because I LOVE this shampoo. Let me tell you, when I received this product, I was nervous. Seeing as it was a color depositing shampoo, and the instructions say to avoid your scalp (because of staining), I was upset. I dance for 2 hours every day and by the end I am a greasy/sweaty MESS. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get my same "clean" feeling as I do with my old shampoo. But I have been using this daily and I can honestly say my hair is so clean after using it but not that dry overly "squeaky" clean like some shampoos. This is a genuine CLEAN that didn't strip my hair of any moisture. The scent is great, very fresh and not overly fragrant or unnatural smelling. On top of that, it WORKS. I am a natural medium-deep brunette and I've got red/copper undertones that are clearly visible in natural lighting, mainly towards to ends of my hair. Not anymore though! I've got beautiful, soft, and shiny deep chocolate hair now and I've been using it for a week now! My only real complaint is that it can be a little tedious to use. Since it can stain, they recommend wearing gloves and keeping it off the scalp as stated previously. I didn't think it would stain that bad, so I put it in my hair one day without gloves and the dye had gotten under my fingernails and it looked like I had dirt under them, as well as product having dripped down the back of my neck and leaving a bit of darkness there. I recently got this shampoo to use once a week after I had my hair colored. I couldn't stop using it because it makes my hair feel so amazing. You know that clean feeling that some shampoos and conditioners leave you with? That kind of clean! I know every product is different for every type of hair but I will be using this until it no longer works for my hair. I can't stop touching it and running my fingers through it. **It does stain around my nails but I have a nail brush in my shower and I just scrub my nails after and it helps or most of the time, completely gets rid of the dark stains! Using the entire Matrix Dark Envy line, this is definitely the icing on the cake. It's creamy and thick and you definitely don't need as much as I used the first time. Lol. A small quarter sized amount or a touch more for long hair, like mine. I would not recommend using this without at least using the shampoo. I prefer the mask as well. So I received this along with the AgeBeautiful shampoo and conditioner and although this was definitely heavier and more moisturizing than the conditioner, I'm still not really sure about it as a treatment. First I want to say that my hair is not damaged so I can't attest to that, but I have had blonde, damaged hair before and I don't think that it would be enough for it. This just seems like a really heavy conditioner not a treatment. It also weighed my hair down a lot. I usually wash every 4 or 5 days and I had to wash again after two using this, but again that might be different for somebody with really dry, overprocessed hair. But being that I have been on both sides of the hair scale, I would say that sure this is a great conditioner, but not so much a treatment. I also don't care for the scent much at all. Have been using this shampoo for years but it seems to have been reformulated. The name of the shampoo ‘miraculous recovery’ is the same, but the bottle now has a golden swirl on it. I thought it was just packaging redesign but the product itself is very different. Smells totally different, and leaves hair flat and lifeless. I bought the large size as it’s the shampoo I usually use. Straight in the bin and won’t repurchase. I have been using the For Hers shampoo and hair conditioner plus the biotin gummies for two years and it has made my hair feel the best it has in years. Due to hormonal changes my hair started getting thinner, so I thought I’d try this to add to my collection. Tried it today and first off couldn’t comb my hair wet, and secondly it felt so matted and brittle that it pulled my hair from the root when trying to dry it. Never again and I don’t recommend this to anyone.Paula
This mask made my hair feel dirty and tangled. Very hard to brush through and got tangled up all day. I thought maybe I was supposed to condition afterwards so tried it again a week later and it was the same. Felt like it left a residue and made my ends look fried and brittle. I’ve been trying to repair my hair after damaging it a couple of years ago and this treatment set me way back. I don’t know how they can sell this as a repair mask when all it did was damage my hair. I trusted the product because JLo backed it but I wish I would have read the reviews first.Rebbecca

During the warmer months I enjoy brightening my dull look by getting highlights done. Going from my natural dark brown locks to a nice light blonde can be a long process. My hair can get these yellowish tones to it where I need a toning product in between salon visits. I dye my hair WHITE. White hair turns yellow super quick. I was using BlondMe cool toned shampoo and conditioner but it just didn't quite do the trick. My hair also felt rather dry. I switched to Matrix So Silver conditioner and paired it with the So Silver hair mask and WOW! My hair was noticeably softer and looks thicker (I have fine, thin hair). I only used the mask for about 2-3 minutes and it made a major difference in reducing the yellow and making my hair look white again! I think I might need to use it for maybe 5-10 minutes to really get that yellow out, but this product was amazing! My hair looks and feels healthier after 1 use and the color looks so much better.
