I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. This hair care product is now one of my must have! I cut off using conditioner part of my hair care routine and decided to use on deep conditioners now that the harsh winter days are coming in. This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

I bought the 2oz bottle, not a gallon but there's no option for it. So I used the sample sachet of the unscented version and I thought it was good sulfate-free shampoo. I wanted to try a scented one so I bought the 2oz Island Fantasy and I don’t know what went wrong. I had to use way more of the shampoo this time around to even get enough to work through to my scalp. When I rinsed it out this time it felt like my hair was stripped and squeaky and my roots felt tangled. When I used the unscented sample it was soft and felt smooth in my hair when rinsing out. I followed this up with my usual go-to Dove intense moisture conditioner and my hair is not drying the same. It looks dry, feels dry, and the frizz has been real. I’ve been trying to tame it by twisting and clipping it up in a bun all day because of how bad my hair has been looking. Is there a difference between the unscented and Island Fantasy? Really sucks because I’ve been wanting to find a good sulfate-free shampoo to use in between normal sulfate washes, but it seems like none of Jessicurl products work for me.julia.s
One of the things about gels that I run into is it not being being 100% compatible with very season. Some gels are good for all year round, while some gels work their magic best in certain seasons, but this gel right here work’s it’s magic no matter the season or whatever may come up, where your hair needs strong hold and ultimate frizz protection that you can count on truly all day long. This gel is glycerin free, for those who may be interested in such. It does contain alcohol listed as its last ingredient, but alcohol is actually a component t of one of the polyquat’s used in this product. So, alcohol isn’t added separately to this product, for those that may have been wondering. It is on 7/10ths of this product. Also, you do not smell any traces of such when you smell this product at all. The fragrance free version comes completely fragrance free, and this gel has a lightweight consistency (but is not runny), it dries clear, it doesn’t flake, and it gives y hair hold fit more than one day, which for me is a miracle, because with most stylers that I use, I have to refresh my hair with more styling product ASAP every morning. Because, after I sleep on my hair, even with a satin bonnet on, my hair typically be needing some extra help in the mornings, for sure. But, the hold on this product is fantastic. I can use this product on both wet and dry hair without any problems, but I do choose to use Jessicurl’s hairspray (which is alcohol free) to give my hair a quick pick me up or to take flyaways that may pop up in between my hair wash day. They do have a curl refresher within the Jessicurl line, but it just isn’t best suited for my hair unfortunately. But, their hair spray on the other hand works so much better at reviving my hair, whenever needed. This is a very universal gel that was created for all curltypes, all hair textures, and definitely for all races. So, if you haven’t given Jessicurl a try yet, I’d highly recommend checking out all that they have to offer and what products may suit your wavy, curly, or coily hair best for sure!sybil.w
Maybe I just have the worst luck with hair products or something because it’s such a struggle to find anything that actually works. I purchased a small 2oz bottle of this deep conditioner and I don’t understand what’s deep conditioning about it. It’s super-duper thick and hard to get out of the bottle which seemed like a good thing if it was moisturizing at all. The smell was nice and light but had a hint of a weird crayon smell that the other unscented Jessicurl products have. It had no slip and I was already kind of worried that it would not be moisturizing. I left it on and put a cap on for 30 ish minutes with a towel wrapped around my head to trap heat in. I also periodically used the blow dryer to heat it up inside the towel. I rinsed it all out and then put some argan oil and OGX Moroccan oil and wrapped my hair with a Tshirt. When I was letting it air dry after that, I could tell things were going south with how crispy and frayed my ends were looking. I JUST trimmed my ends a week before as well so this shouldn’t have happened if I deep conditioned my hair. During the drying process, my hair frizzed up a lot and looked super dry and crispy. Oh wow. I see now why this is always sold out on Ipsy points lol! I’ve had this for a while but used it once and forgot about it. I’ve been on a strict finishing my products and it’s now this guys turn… I shampoo, condition my hair, apply this on my damp hair and put a hair towel on to let the product sink in. This product should be discontinued by the smell alone. The product itself seems to he ok for hair. The one and only time I used it, it did make my hair feel a lot more moisturized. But the smell…TERRIBLE!! It smelled so bad but despite the smell, I still tried it in hopes that it would go away. Well this made me sick. Trigggered migraines that lasted days. Worst of all, several washes later, the horrible smell would not go away. Based on description, reduces frizz and flyaways which I’m not sure why any product would want to reduce frizz or flyaways. I say that because that’s the point have natural hair to be free. And, unless you’re trying to control frizz and flyaways in a protective style then yes I can see why. I am a wash and go for a year and don’t mind the frizz and flyaways. The product smells really good thought!!! Even after hair dry, the product can be smelled days after without using any of the other MO products to keep hair moisturized. Based on the 8 fl oz jar🏺I got 2 uses wash/go uses and a little left for a 3rd. I have very dense hair which (when I say dense I mean that you have find my scalp lol) means this size jar is not really enough for my hair. I did not get a tingling feeling using this product and may be that didn’t leave on the required 15-30 minutes. I still would buy this product because my hair shine and for a conditioner to give shine that’s good. Anywho that’s my opinion on MO Babassu Oil & Mint Deep Conditioner. Love this mask! Ok, so it costs slightly more than I would like to spend on a tub of hair mask but it is worth it. Have repurchased already! The texture is more watery than the average mask but this just melts into the hair. I have naturally straight thick (previously coloured) hair and this mask leaves it silky, shiny and soft. There is a slight tingling sensation on the scalp but the directions say it is to be expected and means it’s working – always good to stimulate the scalp for hair growth I guess. There is a scent but I don’t mind it. Highly recommend.

My stylist recommended this product for my Bellami Weft Extensions. I used the shampoo and conditioner! The shampoo worked well, but the conditioner didn’t seem to do much. My hair wasn’t soft getting out of the shower and it made my hair not smell the greatest! I wouldn’t buy this product again.anna rae.d
I love the Bellami hair extensions! I love that I can take them out and put them in whenever I want. They are super soft and easy to maintain. Don’t use any other shampoo but the one from the website other shampoos take away the softness of the extensions. They look super natural and are easy to blend inMegan C.
I recently had extensions put in and although I always use a sulfite free shampoo and conditioner I wanted to change my brand. I realky love the smell of this conditioner and it works amazing on my oily hair. I only use this on the bottom half of my hair since the top of my head produces too much oil. I shampoo and condition my hair every days and use dry shampoo once in between washes. I don't like alot of build up. The Matrix shampoo and conditioner definitely clean and soften my hair. This and olaplex literally saved my hair. I got married two weeks ago and my hair was wrecked. The stylist who colored it slightly over bleached it the week before – no big deal, just made it a little drier. THEN we went swimming at the Rehearsal dinner, and my dad didn’t mention he had shocked to pool. The next day my hair was straw. I had breakage, couldn’t get a brush through it, it looked like an absolute rats nest. My husband had to lend his beard oil to myself and several bridesmaids just to untangle massive knots, and several of us ended up cutting them out. Add in heat damage from the styling for the wedding, and then sun/sand/saltwater from the beach and I thought I was going to have to completely chop it off. Which would have sucked bc I’ve been growing it out for 4 years now. Other masks did literally nothing. I picked this up on a whim as a last ditch effort and OH MY GOD. This, plus olaplex 3 & 8, and after 3 uses my hair is almost completely back to normal. It’s soft and shiny and healthy again. I can get away with an inch trim instead of a bob. I have my staple haircare now, it took me YEARS to find the right brand and way of doing it. This is not one I will be adding to my routine. Glad I got the travel sized one! This is a really decent option for those that want a silicone-free, medium to slightly heavier moisture, and plan to use it frequently. When I did use it, I found that for my hair it reacted more like my conditioner than a hair mask. Now this is MY personal experience! Some probably find this to be a really heavy moisturizing product. My hair did not seem to agree. It was frizzier than it is when I use certain other hair masks. I can’t personally recommend this product simply because I didn’t love it the first time, and won’t use it again. Just didn’t work so well for my hair, but I am sure it can work for others just wonderfully! My suggestion is go into your local sephora and ask them for a sample of this! I need a haircut right now, so my 3b curls are looser than usual. Usually, I have a fairly tight spiral curl throughout, but my hair is overall fine. I need something to hold my curls together without frizz to keep the curls intact. I keep my hair long, but I need the dead ends trimmed. I don't regularly use a hair masking product, but I got this in an Allure box for this February. After one use, my hair was shiny, and my curls were tighter than they've been in months. It felt like I had a trim at the salon. My hair was very soft and bouncy, even with my usual styling products. My curls still held well despite how soft this product made my hair. I am very happy with the results and will use it again. The smell is pleasant but doesn't linger over my other styling products as well. I am truly #OribeObsessed. I love many of their product lines but this masque is magical. While so many others are turning to the latest and greatest claim of the other “O” product that comes in the minimalist 3.3 oz packaging, I am sticking with Oribe! I have naturally red, loose curly hair (between a 2c/3a) and I use this mask once a week to keep my hair nourished so that my curls and waves will hold in place and not dry out. While I am sure many will look at the price and flinch, don’t let that move you. I have hair past my shoulder blades and all I need to use is less than a teaspoon of product from roots to ends. Many other products will require you to use much more product in order to get the moisture and results that Oribe provides in one small dollop. This jar of masque will last me for months, even while using once a week. The pic I posted is what my hair looks like on day 3! Yes honey, even after pulling it up at night while asleep all I have to do is unclip my hair and refresh it with a few spritzes of Oribe refresher, or even a light mist of water and boom, out the door. This is NOT just a wonderful masque to provide moisture in your locks. I have found various alternative uses not mentioned on the Oribe website for this product. I have very long, red, naturally curly hair. I use about a tablespoon amount when I am using it as a deep conditioner in the shower. However, I keep this product on my vanity and use it every day for other uses. I dab my pointer finger in the product and use it to “piece” my bangs and to smooth flyaways. It holds my bangs in place beautifully with a little hairspray after styling my bangs. I also use this as a moisturizer for my hands before putting on my rings and heading out the door. Lastly, and this was the most shocking for me to experience….. I use it around my elbows and ankles just before I spray on my self-tanner!!! Yes, you read that correctly! It helps blend smoothly around those always tricky areas. The key when using this as a moisturizer is to blend into skin thoroughly. My skin isn’t sticky as you would think it would be by using a hair conditioner as a moisturizer. I have used this as a conditioner for my long hair several times and daily for styling my hair and moisturizer for my hands and you can barely see the product has been used. In essence, a little goes a LONG way when using quality products so don’t be fooled by the price. It’s worth every penny!!! I’ve included a pic for reference of the length of my hair based on amount of product I’m using. My hair was straightened in the photo but you can see how healthy my hair looks. I really wanted to like this. I always heard such great things about Oribe as a company. I'm a curly girl , with fine coils but a ton of hair strands. I think it's important to add that I'm a white girl but most have more of an "ethnic"…hate that word but just for context…texture, other than being SLIGHTLY softer. The products that work best for me are always targeted toward coarser hair types. Also important to add, I am well educated in professional hair care and am constantly trying new products for my naturally (and also chemical induced) dry hair. In fact, most showers I use heavier conditioners or masques. This masque didn't impress me and won't be in my product rotation. I felt that it didn't seem to be moisturizing or "heavy" enough for curls like mine. Honestly, the smell was ok but that wasn't even appealing enough for me to note it as a positive. As another reference I used it more than once and kept it on longer subsequent times to see if that would make a difference in my experience. There was no difference. I feel bad about writing a negative review but I read these when I'm making purchases so I hope this helps someone. Perhaps this particular product, or brand overall, is better suited for those with just a slight texture without the need for a deeper/heavier conditioner.Brittany

I tried this product in two ways. I tried it as it was recommended, which was to use heat for deeper penetration and the other was leaving the deep conditioner on for 30-40 minutes. I feel like doing it these ways got me the samw result which is great for people who dont like using heat at all. Using this helped me detangle my hair because it gave enough slip from how moisturizing it is. Also, my half of my hair has been bleached twice and the color immediately after. That side of my hair had been limp for so long until i started using this for weeks. I want to add emphasis on weeks because its not a fast process and it took multiple uses to start seeing my curl pattern get stronger. My only complaint is that spreading it can be a little bit hard and you might have to use alot to fully saturate the hair if you long hair. This is also not buttery enough for curlier hair, like 3c to 4c hair. (in the picture i did finger coil my hair but everything i said still is relevant. In all my years I have never found a Deep conditioner that actually deep conditions. BUT THIS RIGHT HERE HONEST TO GOD, on all that I love has been absolutely and GEM find. I picked it up by chance at Target and was blown away. But of course my luck they were no longer selling in stores. I found only one other store the sells this and I pray they never stop selling. I just had my fine a bit past shoulder length hair highlighted and this was the first thing I used two shampoos in a row. My hair feels and looks so great after this treatment. Smells divine. Gives me that bouncy ultra soft hair commercial hair! Usually these types of products weigh my hair down and make it flat/greasy. I’ve had no issues with this one! Its really packed a punch. I usually just use olaplex as stylist recommendation but I’ve been told my hair looks better than before so I’ll be sticking with this one! I’ve always wanted to try this brand since I have heard a lot about it from friends and coworkers, but since my hair is naturally curly, I am very particular about the brands/products I use in my hair. I can confidentially say Pureology might just be one of my go to brands now. I love that this brand uses no sulfates, parabens, formaldehyde or mineral oils to name a few. The smell is divine, which is mainly of the Camelina Oil, the Olive oil gives my hair such a shine, and the coconut oil leaves my hair feeling soft and frizz free and so much more healthier looking than before. I absolutely love this mask and can’t say enough about it. I have hardly if ever had an experience where my coworkers noticed how “healthy” my hair looked and that’s a big win for me. I also feel that the key to using this product and to get the most benefits is to use it in conjunction with the Color Fanatic Sheer Topcoat and finish up with the Color Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave In Conditioner. After each use, my hair has maintained a soft, detangled texture for several days. It was quite easy to dry and style. With other color-fanatic product my hair has a beautiful and healthy shine. I was concerned that adding a mask, my hair would feel weighted down after a few uses. My hair has maintained a lightweight feel and any worries I had are now gone. I have been using the For Hers shampoo and hair conditioner plus the biotin gummies for two years and it has made my hair feel the best it has in years. Due to hormonal changes my hair started getting thinner, so I thought I’d try this to add to my collection. Tried it today and first off couldn’t comb my hair wet, and secondly it felt so matted and brittle that it pulled my hair from the root when trying to dry it. Never again and I don’t recommend this to anyone.Paula
This mask made my hair feel dirty and tangled. Very hard to brush through and got tangled up all day. I thought maybe I was supposed to condition afterwards so tried it again a week later and it was the same. Felt like it left a residue and made my ends look fried and brittle. I’ve been trying to repair my hair after damaging it a couple of years ago and this treatment set me way back. I don’t know how they can sell this as a repair mask when all it did was damage my hair. Hands down one of the best conditioners I have ever used! Did I say EVER???? Yassss, I did! I have use on my wavy to curly hair and my daughters mixed 4b hair and let me tell you, our hair is sooo moisturized and soft to the touch. It smells good and it’s a pretty decent size bottle for the price. Don’t let the “mens”, description fool you ok! It works way better in my open than the Shea Moisture coconut and hibiscus conditioner. Don’t get me wrong, I still love and use their hair masque but this right here is it! Yes yes they do say that these products are for men but that did not stop me from trying them out. My husband was so excited that we got the shampoo in the mail that he went out to the store to buy the matching conditioner to go with it to get the full effect. A few days later we actually received the matching conditioner in the mail from top box circle. So now we have to even it out & get another shampoo. I am already a huge fan of shea moisture and use their products daily! I was not able to find a scent that I loved until this new line for men came out. Even though the scent was not the best the effectiveness of these products won me over and I would use them regardless. These products work effectively to clean the hair and scalp leaving a clean feeling to the hair. The conditioner is amazing as it conditions the hair leaving it feeling soft silky and smooth. These products are paraben & sulfate free!! Which is a plus. If you want your shower experience to smell like a spa I highly suggest you try this line out. Amazing. 10/10 definitely recommend! My other half got the chance to try out this men’s deep hair conditioner recently. The consistency is a thicker conditioner. It was used after shampooing his hair. He applied enough for his length of hair and let it sit for a couple minutes. Than he rinses it out. His hair is more manageable and soft feeling. It does a good job at moisturizing the hair. This has an amazing scent of Shea butter and a hint of honey. This conditioner has no parabens, no animal testing & no mineral oil. This is made with fair trade Shea butter. I used this conditioner after shampooing my hair, I kept it in for a full ten minutes. This conditioner is infused with Black Castor Oil to strengthen strands, Avocado and Grape-seed Oils for ultimate moisture and Apple Cider Vinegar and Peppermint to relieve dry skin on your scalp. The conditioner smelled good, felt like yogurt in my hands but was thick enough to spread and stay in my hair. I like to detangle my hair while I have conditioner in and I didn’t have any difficulty combing my hair through with this conditioner. I tried this Quidad coil infusion triple treat conditioner 3 times in one week. I have long natural thick curly hair in which I use hair gel and hairspray every day to keep my curls in tact. I definitely needed a deep conditioning treatment to wash out all the build up. The product itself works great in that it did wonders for my hair and washed out all the build up. Also I did not need to use any detangler as my brush easily glided through my hair. The thing I can't get past is the smell. This product has a medicinal like smell. I have been using this for years on my 2b hair type. I usually leave it over night with a cap and some extra coconut oil the night before I wash my hair.. the results are just exactly what I want from a few conditioner everytime. Moisturized luscious full of volume and it brings back a little curl to my hair. I don’t know what’s in this put it really helps create volume. I miss the old formula tho. Lifesaver!!! My hair was bone straight after coloring it over and over. I even cut it real short and I tried a few different curling shampoos and conditioner in the hopes of getting my curls back.
