So after I get out of the shower and also on my dry hair, I will put about the size of a quarter dollap of this condtioner in my left hand, then rub my hands together and work the conditioner into every strand I can ! I bought the 2oz bottle, not a gallon but there's no option for it. So I used the sample sachet of the unscented version and I thought it was good sulfate-free shampoo. I wanted to try a scented one so I bought the 2oz Island Fantasy and I don’t know what went wrong. I had to use way more of the shampoo this time around to even get enough to work through to my scalp. When I rinsed it out this time it felt like my hair was stripped and squeaky and my roots felt tangled. When I used the unscented sample it was soft and felt smooth in my hair when rinsing out. I followed this up with my usual go-to Dove intense moisture conditioner and my hair is not drying the same. It looks dry, feels dry, and the frizz has been real. I’ve been trying to tame it by twisting and clipping it up in a bun all day because of how bad my hair has been looking. Is there a difference between the unscented and Island Fantasy? Really sucks because I’ve been wanting to find a good sulfate-free shampoo to use in between normal sulfate washes, but it seems like none of Jessicurl products work for me.julia.s
One of the things about gels that I run into is it not being being 100% compatible with very season. Some gels are good for all year round, while some gels work their magic best in certain seasons, but this gel right here work’s it’s magic no matter the season or whatever may come up, where your hair needs strong hold and ultimate frizz protection that you can count on truly all day long. This gel is glycerin free, for those who may be interested in such. It does contain alcohol listed as its last ingredient, but alcohol is actually a component t of one of the polyquat’s used in this product. So, alcohol isn’t added separately to this product, for those that may have been wondering. It is on 7/10ths of this product. Also, you do not smell any traces of such when you smell this product at all. The fragrance free version comes completely fragrance free, and this gel has a lightweight consistency (but is not runny), it dries clear, it doesn’t flake, and it gives y hair hold fit more than one day, which for me is a miracle, because with most stylers that I use, I have to refresh my hair with more styling product ASAP every morning. Because, after I sleep on my hair, even with a satin bonnet on, my hair typically be needing some extra help in the mornings, for sure. But, the hold on this product is fantastic. I can use this product on both wet and dry hair without any problems, but I do choose to use Jessicurl’s hairspray (which is alcohol free) to give my hair a quick pick me up or to take flyaways that may pop up in between my hair wash day. They do have a curl refresher within the Jessicurl line, but it just isn’t best suited for my hair unfortunately. But, their hair spray on the other hand works so much better at reviving my hair, whenever needed. This is a very universal gel that was created for all curltypes, all hair textures, and definitely for all races. So, if you haven’t given Jessicurl a try yet, I’d highly recommend checking out all that they have to offer and what products may suit your wavy, curly, or coily hair best for sure!sybil.w
Maybe I just have the worst luck with hair products or something because it’s such a struggle to find anything that actually works. I purchased a small 2oz bottle of this deep conditioner and I don’t understand what’s deep conditioning about it. It’s super-duper thick and hard to get out of the bottle which seemed like a good thing if it was moisturizing at all. The smell was nice and light but had a hint of a weird crayon smell that the other unscented Jessicurl products have. It had no slip and I was already kind of worried that it would not be moisturizing. I left it on and put a cap on for 30 ish minutes with a towel wrapped around my head to trap heat in. I also periodically used the blow dryer to heat it up inside the towel. I rinsed it all out and then put some argan oil and OGX Moroccan oil and wrapped my hair with a Tshirt. When I was letting it air dry after that, I could tell things were going south with how crispy and frayed my ends were looking. I JUST trimmed my ends a week before as well so this shouldn’t have happened if I deep conditioned my hair. During the drying process, my hair frizzed up a lot and looked super dry and crispy. So I received this along with the AgeBeautiful shampoo and conditioner and although this was definitely heavier and more moisturizing than the conditioner, I'm still not really sure about it as a treatment. First I want to say that my hair is not damaged so I can't attest to that, but I have had blonde, damaged hair before and I don't think that it would be enough for it. This just seems like a really heavy conditioner not a treatment. It also weighed my hair down a lot. I usually wash every 4 or 5 days and I had to wash again after two using this, but again that might be different for somebody with really dry, overprocessed hair. But being that I have been on both sides of the hair scale, I would say that sure this is a great conditioner, but not so much a treatment. I also don't care for the scent much at all. So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. I was super excited about this Vox Box! I have extremely dry and damaged hair from a few too many bleaches too close together to go from magenta to bright turquoise colored hair in a short period of time! The ingredients are ingredients. I like this conditioner. Leaves my hair feeling very soft and smooth. I don’t have extremely curly hair but it does define my waves to make them appear more curlier. I however don’t think the price and the amount you get is justifiable since other products of this same size go for $8-10. If it was $10 cheaper than I’d give 5 stars. But $20 for both shampoo and conditioner adds up and almost seems a bit steep for something that doesn’t exactly do anything differently than other products I’ve used. Thankfully I’ve got shorter hair so I don’t ever feel like I’m using a lot of this product. But I’d recommend it to someone who isn’t worried about spending an extra $10 for something that does what Shea Moisture does.Cindy R
I have funny curls – my hair grows in almost straight, but then waves, and once a year I get an all over perm. I've tried almost literally everything. It seems I no sooner find a product line I like, and my hair no longer likes it. However, I noticed from the get-go that my hair felt amazing with all of the Rizo's products. The conditioner is a DREAM, the shampoo so far is not stripping or drying out my hair (others say they won't – but they do), it's not messing with my color (I also color my hair about every 5-7 weeks), and the leave in conditioner just keeps the softness in all day without weighing my hair down or letting it frizz. Started using these products almost two years ago, thought I found my holy grail products my hair was thriving. Started losing my hair blamed it on my stressful job & bad diet. Went to the dermatologist who told me to check into the products I was using. Saw reviews of other people complaining or hair loss from using Rizos finally felt relived. Oh wow. I see now why this is always sold out on Ipsy points lol! I’ve had this for a while but used it once and forgot about it. I’ve been on a strict finishing my products and it’s now this guys turn… I shampoo, condition my hair, apply this on my damp hair and put a hair towel on to let the product sink in. After a few minutes I use a hair dryer and then I use a Soleil round blow drying brush. I SWEAR I feel like I went to the salon and it’s all because of this product!!!!!!! Pantene Miracle Rescue is a replacement for the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle, which was an excellent conditioner that sold for only four bucks. Sadly it was discontinued and replaced with this conditioner. Miracle Rescue is not quite as good as the 3 Minute Miracle, but it still works well. It starts to work as soon as you put it on and washes out well. The scent is fine, but not a favorite of mine. The big problem with it is that it gets heavy on your hair past the day mark, and can eventually make your hair feel a bit waxy. It also costs over twice the price of the 3 Minute Miracle. However, if you can get it for half off or more, then it is a good choice for a conditioner.iHerb Customer
I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried the Pantene Miracle Rescue last week thanks to Shopper Army. With the temperatures soaring, the heat really had taken a toll on my hair, so the Pantene deep conditioning treatment was a welcome change to my hair care routine. I used it three times in the last week as I loved the result the first time. I used my regular shampoo for my hair and then applied the conditioning treatment to the tips of my hair and towards the roots as directed. I gently massaged product into my hair and left it on for 2 mins and then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. I have long hair below shoulder length and it's colored as well so this product worked well even with my long hair. I usually like to use a little shampoo to wash my hair again so the product doesn't turn my hair greasy but this step was not required as the Pantene Miracle Rescue is so lightweight and leaves hair feeling silky, easy to comb and dry. I love this about the product so I thought let me try it two more times before actually giving a review worked even better the next time and left my hair looking shiny and hydrated so I am happy to recommend this product to anyone who has dry, frizzy hair which needs some care and treatment.Antonia1977

I live in a relatively humid climate and yet that still doesn't seem to be enough! When I tried the Pantene Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment, that I was generously provided in return to provide a very honest review, I agreed. Not only do I have colour treated hair, I have to wash my hair every day for my profession and naturally really curly! I used a good amount for my first try and worked it threw my hair down to the ends. I could tell by the texture and the feel of my hair under the water after 3 plus minutes, that it already felt silky smooth, hydrated and not "scratchy, brittle etc". I've tried some deep conditioning treatments and they feel great until everything rinses right out of your hair! Not, Pantene Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment! It maintained its "just quenched look" with no weigh down when it dried. If I were to compare this to a skin product it would be more like a mask to ultimately hydrate. This deep conditioner is amazing. It provides hydration, makes the hair feel healthier and smoother, clumps curls, gets rid of frizz, and makes hair feel stronger. I’ve used it twice so far and it will be my new go-to protein treatment. This mask does contain protein and is very strengthening so beware if you’re protein sensitive or just use less often. Also this mask is more hydrating than moisturizing. So think plumping and juicy not buttery and emollient. This mask does exactly what it says it’s going to do on the container. Wow!!! All I can say is wow!!💫😭. It smells lemony❤️ I put this product on a medium to small sized section on my hair to test it out, my hair immediately became soft. Though I used it on a small section, I know my hair will love it on wash day. It is worth the price. After washing it out, it was soft, plump, and hydrated. A lot of deep conditioners are moisturizing when you put it on but when you wash it afterwards, it doesn't feel moisturizing and soft. This plumping deep conditioner did not feel that way!!!! My hair loved it immediately. Mind you, I have very tight, thick, and coarse 4c hair. It is a struggle at times to deal with, which ends in me neglecting my hair a lot. I am a working college student who also is a woman of faith in Christ. I get really busy and I just don't have the full on wash day time to attend to my hair. I was looking for some reviews for this but couldn’t find any that were satisfactory enough for me. So here is mine… The scent is strong of citrus. Almost like lemon and I think that’s because it has lemongrass in it. I like to leave reviews after multiple uses but I know this will help someone. This left my hair moisturized. I washed it and slightly towel dried it then applied this thoroughly from roots to end. It’s thick but not as dense as the elongating twisting cream. I then used the multi use oil to seal it then put it up and placed a plastic cap over it for 30 minutes. When I took the cap off it was very soft and moisturized. I rinsed it thoroughly and felt it after and it felt moisturized. I’m repeating that word because that is what the product did for me. Some softness but it really didn’t impart softness like that albeit I did have some softness but nothing extra ordinarily noticeable or feel-able. If you have dry hair I believe this will work well for you. It rinsed well in the shower as well. I used the leave in after rinsing this out well and plated my hair down in sections. That’s the best way it retains moisture imo if it’s either plated or braided down. After I’ve used this 3+ times I’ll leave another review. Hope this helps someone…. Oh yea for reference, in case anyone is wondering, my hair is considered a 3. The letter that pairs with it is dependent on the day and weather. I didn’t receive anything for this review. The quality is outstanding. I have sensitive dry skin, also suffer from dermatographia, and my hair is a 3b/3c combination of dry ends and zigzag curls. As you can imagine finding any hair product strong enough to make my curls behave, but not agresive enough to make my scalp itch, was quite difficult until now. Due to my sensitivity, it's not uncommon for my skin to swell and itch because of a product.(which didn't happen with this product! yay!) The mild scent is really nice and natural, which I love because I don't like artificial fragrances. Every time I wash my hair my scalp feels free, if that makes any sense, as in it doesn't feel heavy with product and is able to breathe. You also don't need to use too much product in one wash since the texture is quite thick but spreads easily. After washing the hair is left soft but bouncy, it's easy to de-tangle and smells amazing. Because of my hair structure I tried multiple brands, and while some kinda worked, they required washing my hair every day since the roots would get oily cause of the product overload. With this one tho I could wash my hair once every 3 days(minimum) and that's awesome. It also moisturizes my scalp enough to get rid of the little dandruff I got from a product that irritated my skin. Overall I wholeheartedly recommend this brand !! I bought the whole line: shampoo, conditioner, mask, and curls definer. I use the mask once a week and the conditioner when not using the mask. The first picture is before I tried those product, and the second one is after the first wash. As you can see it looks soft, there's almost no brittle, it's shiny and I finally claimed my curls back! * this is not a cure for dermatographia! My condition is in remission nowadays, thank the universe. If your dermatitis is still active, I suggest consulting a dermatologist and using medically approved and proven relief products. I have been using the Shea Moisture conditioner for approximately two weeks and was provided them by #trywithtopbox as a #freeproduct for my honest review. I have fine, thin, waist length hair that is naturally blonde starting to go grey, that is prone to split ends and I would describe as normal to oily. I don't wash it daily but every 2 to 3 days it's just too much work to do daily. I used the conditioner as directed and found that my hair combed out fairly easily even while still wet which was great as it tends to tangle quite badly when I don't use a good conditioner on it. My hair was soft and shiny and manageable. The container for this feels slightly greasy when I handle it during use even after rinsing them off. The conditioner bottle uses a pump as a dispenser which is great but I couldn't get the original one that came with the bottle to function. I replaced it with one I had but I noticed that the thick conditioner dries and forms a plug that takes several pumps to force out. Overall I would say this was a good product that worked as advertised and if someone was looking to try this I would recommend it, I'm not sure if it is the best choice for me given the frequency with which I wash my hair.MargarethaM

I have low porosity 2B with fine strands, but a lot of hair. I typically leave this on for 30 min under a cap. Pros: made hair feel incredibly soft and manageable after rinsing out. Seemed to help with brittleness and strengthening the hair. Scent is delicious, exactly like a vanilla-mint cake batter. Cons: Not as moisturizing as I expected, still needed to add a lot of leave in after rinsing out. I would guess it’s maybe more moisturizing for high porosity. This hair care product is now one of my must have! I cut off using conditioner part of my hair care routine and decided to use on deep conditioners now that the harsh winter days are coming in. This is the first Camille Rose product that I have tried that I didn't like. All of the others so far have been amazing, but for whatever reason this deep conditioner left my 4a high porosity hair feeling drier and more like straw than before I used it. It is a very thick consistency, which I usually like. It seemed like it never fully sank into/was absorbed by my hair and after leaving it to sit for about an hour I could still see it sitting on top of my hair. It is also quite expensive so unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

I tried this product in two ways. I tried it as it was recommended, which was to use heat for deeper penetration and the other was leaving the deep conditioner on for 30-40 minutes. I feel like doing it these ways got me the samw result which is great for people who dont like using heat at all. Using this helped me detangle my hair because it gave enough slip from how moisturizing it is. Also, my half of my hair has been bleached twice and the color immediately after. That side of my hair had been limp for so long until i started using this for weeks. I want to add emphasis on weeks because its not a fast process and it took multiple uses to start seeing my curl pattern get stronger. My only complaint is that spreading it can be a little bit hard and you might have to use alot to fully saturate the hair if you long hair. This is also not buttery enough for curlier hair, like 3c to 4c hair. (in the picture i did finger coil my hair but everything i said still is relevant. I purchased a couple packets of this after loving their Keratin mask. I haven’t noticed much improvement in how my hair feels after using it. Usually after using any kind of conditioning hair mask, my hair is super smooth and easy to detangle… nope. Even using my tangle teezer after using this, my hair was very tangled and not very soft. Hask brand has become a staple in my hair care regimen! My hair is sensitive, thin, bleached for blonde, and very fine. Argan oil was something I always swore by for treating damaged and frizzy hair, so when this line came out I immediately tried it! I combine this with the entire repair line shown in the photo! When I use conditioners I always let them soak in my hair for a while before brushing/rinsing out with a brush! I've noticed some reviewers say that their hair felt drier. My guess is that this is because this product contains more protein than your average deep conditioner. If your hair is already overloaded with protein or low porosity, this mask may not give you the best results. Try the shea butter mask or tea tree mask from this brand instead (if I'm remembering correctly both have heavier moisturizing ingredients and less protein). For my hair, this product has been excellent. My hair is 2B, color treated, and high porosity. It needs A LOT of protein. I've tried every mask from this brand and this is the one I reach for most often. It gives me a nice moisture boost without being so heavy that my hair is weighed down after. This stuff works great on my daughters tex-laxed 4C hair. I tried it on my 4C hair and it didn't do anything and I almost threw it out but I'm so glad I tried it on her hair instead, because everyone's hair is different.
