I am not a smoker but I love blackberries and blue berries that tend to stain dentures. This product is incredible. Soaking just a short time in Stain Away leaves my denture sparkling white. I received the Polident Pro Guard Retainer Antibacterial Daily Cleanser in my very first VoxBox. Let me just say I was very happily surprised! The box contains 40 clear and fresh tablets that are so easy to use. You drop 1 tablet into warm water and soak the appliance for 3-5 minutes. I have worn my retainer for about 10 years and these tablets cleaned it so well it’s like brand new. I had a little calcium deposit build up which is now completely gone. For context, I have retainers that I wear at night from my experience with Candid Co. clear aligners. Usually, I just soak them during the day in hydrogen peroxide and that works fine for me. These tablets gave a similar effect with a slightly minty flavor. I don't mind the flavor, but it's not entirely necessary. Other comments: the packaging on the tablets creates a lot of waste. There is also a cost advantage of the peroxide over the Polident product. For those that don't like the idea of soaking their retainers, simply washing with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste would also do the trick. I do not understand these reviews for the 3 minute polident. It did not work for me. My dentures turned yellow looking an dirty looking. I threw away over half of a box. Went to the store and purchased the overnight ones. Now I am putting 2 tablets in in my little bowl each night with my dentures. Hopefully my dentures will go back to looking clean.Marge

My orthodontist recommended I simply brush my teeth and my aligners, this probably sounds lazy but it’s time consuming (and toothpaste consuming) to sit there and brush! Now before I eat, I remove the aligners leave the tab in sitting warm water and while I eat they get cleaned! And they feel & taste really clean! I like the flavor a lot. Very affordable and actually used a coupon which made it even more worth the buy!elliebby

My orthodontist told me to gently clean my plastic retainer (post braces) with soap and water, however the soap and water still left them gross and with a smell. I switched to this shortly after and things have been 100% better. i absolutely love the retainer brite cleaning tablets! i was so excited on my last appointment for my retainer check my orthodontist was extremely happy and commented about how clean i have kept my retainers-and i have been using this product about one year now. that made me feel really good. i also just recently purhased the retainer cleaning wipes in addition to my next year supply of retainer brite,and i also love the wipes! makes my retainers feel fresh and clean in between using the tablets. i will for sure be ordering some more wipes when i get near empty. been an awesome experience with both products!!! thank you dentakit!AMY H.
My yearly supply came in four boxes (three month supply), each holding protective "sheets" of six tablets each. There are perforations between each tablet which are not all found to tear apart easily. Each tablet does dissolve well with cold, warm, or hot water. I prefer this product rather than Efferdent or Polident which is much cheaper. I feel better that the tablets are specifically for reatainers ove dentures. I prefer my retainers remain clear and not yellow, although I would only need to soak them for about 20 minutes and rinse well. The box does warn not to be used to those with an allergy to Persulfates, a known allergen. Another precaution: do not soak wire appliances for more than 15 minutes.Tutu
Because of Retainer Brite I have been using my mouthguard every night! Prior to Retainer Brite my mouthguard would turn a dingy yellow color and develop a gross odor that I would stop wearing it. I tried over the counter cleaning solutions and I was not pleased. I am a 44 year old female who grinds/clenches teeth and needs to wear a mouthguard nightly to prevent further damage to my teeth and headaches from clenching. This product does it's Job of cleaning my retainers. They do feel a lot cleaner after using this product. The only thing that is annoying is the smell of this product. It smells like chlorine and if you don't rinse your retainer or device well you get the chlorine aftertaste and it is disgusting. They really should have an option where they have one that taste minter or something. But Now I'm rinsing my retainer really well and Then when I put it in my mouth It only has a little aftertaste not a lot. But The good thing is it eventually goes away from your saliva but still pretty disgusting though. Just My Advice is to rinse your retainers or device good like count from 1 to 40 on each side and repeat that 6 times that really gets rid of the chlorine taste for me you still have a little bit though but it's really like nothing actually. I purchased this cleaner to use on my Invisalign, as I was out of the cleaner my orthodontist sells. Big mistake. This “cleaner” tastes HORRIBLE, reminds me of dirty wet socks that sat in a washing machine for several days. Really gross. And even after cleaning and brushing with a different cleaner the smell and taste wont go away. Im stuck tasting this nasty stuff till my new trays come in, very unhappy about that.YuckMouth

I am a senior citizen who redid her long ago braces for cosmetic reasons. Happy with the end result; but as we all know you must wear the retainer to keep your teeth straight. I was doing this and brushing the retainer, sometimes cleaning with diluted peroxide and water, or mouthwash for it to sit in after cleaning, or diluted white vinegar. All helped for a time, but eventually the retainer just didn't feel clean. I read the reviews on this cleaner and thought "not much to lose" and ordered it along with 2 years supply of the tablets. Using it religiously and VERY HAPPY with it. It performs exactly as stated. I watched for it to walk on the counter and it didn't, so no problem there. It is so easy to set it up and have it running as you make the bed and get dressed in the morning and putting on your face. Rinse, dry and put away as you are tidying up the bathroom and don't give it another thought until the next morning. PERFECT! Wish I would have started with this cleaning solution to begin with. One morning I took out my invisiline retainer and it had turned solid white! I called my orthodontist and they said "sorry, there's no way to fix that, but we can make you another one for $100!" I decided to search the internet and found retainer before and the sonic cleaning unit. Other posts noted it may take several times soaking and scrubbing, so I was prepared with baking soda and my sonic toothbrush. After 3 soaks in retainer before in the sonic cleaning unit, I saw clear areas! I repeated this process 7 times including brushing and I'm thrilled to say my retainer looks new again! My portable sonic cleaning unit arrived with a multi fracture crack in the soaker cup. A quick email to the Dentakit company and they responded saying another whole unit was on its way, no need to return the broken one! I'm sticking with Dentakit and firing my orthodontist !Debbie R.

The denture cleaning tables are very good for me on cleaning my dentures and the flavor of mint is good for the taste it leaves inside my mouth for my breath. I started using this cleaning product about 2to 3 years ago. I was told to use baking soda for cleaning my dentures (partial) , I dont have the full dentures for upper and bottom. I just needed the jaw partials of my upper for both sides and 3 partials for my bottom. I know that this is for dentures, but I use it to clean my coffee carafe. Many years ago, I found the denture tablets clean the stains out of coffee carafes. I tried scrubbing and I tried dishwasher treatments, but the denture tablets work every time with minimal effort. Three tablets in a carafe filled with hot water, wait 20 minutes, and rinse. The Equate tablets work just as well as the pricey brand names.Randall
These are very good for quickly and conveniently cleaning reusable water bottles and it avoids that soapy taste that always seems impossible to get out. Just fill maybe a third of the way with some hot water, dissolve one of these in there, shake it around for a while, allow it to pour out of the drinking hole, and rinse well. It’s essentially the same ingredients as those water bottle cleaning tablets but at a fraction of the cost and with a minty scent (but I’ve never tasted any mint after rinsing).Kristine
