Got this on popsugardabble. This caused intensely dry gross crusty peeling on my face on my eyelids and under my eyes. My skin is still burning a week later. I deeply regret putting this on my face. I look like an exema patient, I don't have exema. My skin was perfect before I used this. I don't have oily skin so it was a very bad idea to put this on my skin because my skin is dry and coming off in huge chunks and it looks extremely embarrassing and if I put moisturizer on my face it does nothing. It dried out and peeled my skin on my fingers too. I'll never use it again and I can't wait for the effects to be over.N

So, I have had a sneaking suspicion that I may be in the 1% of people that have a sensitivity to niacinamide, and unfortunately this whole line proved my theory right. I used the entire line for a few weeks, and everything felt wonderful, but I found my skin getting red, rough and sensitive the longer I used them. I had to discontinue use, but I think if you are in the majority of the population this would be an excellent daytime brightening serum. It was lightweight, absorbed well, laid well under other products, no fragrance, and good ingredients, so I still give it a 4 star rating, but I have gifted the whole line to my boyfriend, so hopefully he’ll start a skincare regimen.marisol.m

I’ve purchased this product 3 times and have been happy with it. I’m 39 with some fine lines. I wouldn’t call my skin oily exactly, but I do often have trouble with new face products making me breakout. I chose this product as it was supposed to be good for acne prone skin, and even help keep pimples away. On this front it has been great. No breakouts. It also has several face brightening ingredients I was looking for in a daily serum, at a modest price point. It has a nice consistency. It does not leave my skin sticky at all; it does not “pill” with my other face products as others have mentioned. I usually use this and then Olay Daily Moisturizer Sensitive (this also does not cause breakouts). I often use a little tinted BB cream as well. If I’m dressing up, I will use a face primer before the BB cream. I haven’t noticed that my skin is particularly radiant, but I also haven’t felt it was dull.Kasey

At first I was using this product only at night but realized the directions said to apply during the day. After doing this and wearing my Aveeno spf moisturizer I’ve been really enjoying! I put this on immediately after washing my face and wait about a minute for it to soak into my skin. Feels slightly tacky at first but that disappears. I got this product complimentary from @influenster and @cetaphilUS in exchange for my honest review. I love cetaphil products as they use safe ingredients and is trusted brand. I was really excited to try this lotion as my skin gets dry during winters. The bottle and pump quality is good as always. The product has thick texture and small amount is required to cover the area. It gives sticky feeling soon after applying but gets light after sometime and does not bother, and skin feels softer and nourished after use.My husband has super dry skin and it works for him as well. It lasts whole day and you do need to reapply the whole day.I love the way it works, my only concern is that it is fragrance free and I really like my lotion to have some fragrance that lasts atleast few hours. My dermatologist recommend Cetaphil daily oil-free hydrating face lotion. I have combination skin. I was struggling with hormonal acne, very oily skin in my T zone, but was so dry on my cheeks and forehead.
I want to be clear this didn't clear up my hormonal acne. I was put on medication for that. But it was soothing and didn't break me out further.
I also discovered Cetaphil redness relieving daily moisturizer. It has sunscreen in it and it's LIGHTLY tinted. It is perfect for daily use and if you aren't wanting to use makeup. (I use it under makeup some days.)Jo Allen

I recently have started my journey into the world of skincare. I've been having a wonderful time trying out all kinds of cleansers, moisturizers, masks, etc. Today I tried out a sample of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion With Sunscreen that I had received complements of their website. This product was a heavier face cream, and you can definitely smell the sunscreen in it. The scent did not bother my sensitive skin though. I have combination/oily skin and this moisturizer made my skin kind of shiny, and a little bit oily. It absorbed quickly and evenly into my skin and wasn't sticky or tacky feeling in any way. It left my skin feeling very soft and smooth, and very very hydrated. I'm kind of left feeling torn on this product because while it did do a great job at hydrating my skin and making it soft, it also almost left it with a layer of oil on top of it. What it is, is a micro-fine zinc oxide sunscreen for UVA/UVB protection. This moisturizer with SPF is a hydrating facial lotion that spreads easily, is absorbed quickly, and leaves a non-greasy finish. All-day hydration with broad spectrum sun protection. 3 essential ceramides to help restore skin's natural barrier. Developed with dermatologists, this hydrating face lotion- featuring 3 essential ceramides moisturizes throughout the day and provides broad spectrum protection with SPF 30. Hyaluronic Acid helps retain skin's natural moisture. Non-comedogenic, won't clog pores. MVE Delivery Technology: Controlled release for all-day hydration. The CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion was a product I was really curious about, so I've decided to give it a try. I know many of you here know it for a long time but it still is a new product to me. One of the main reasons why I wanted to try it (I have oily skin that is really "moody" when the weather changes) is the fact that it's oil free, and it sounds pretty good to have 2 skincare steps in one. The product itself is a white lightweight cream, fragrance free, that is super easy to apply. Neither my fingers or my face felt greasy after. It doesn't have a matte finish but I'm glad it's not sticky or sweaty looking. After a couple of minutes, I applied my primer and was really glad to notice that there was no pilling. I know plenty of people complain about the lotion coming off after but I didn't experience that. Makeup was applied successfully with no interference. I'm not sure if this is the best option for my skin type but it's not a bad one either. If you know a better moisturizing lotion with SPF for oily skin, please, let me know.ananda.a

Probably quite generous with my star rating considering my experience, but I am aware that works for one, might not work for someone else. Unfortunately, I fall into the latter group. I purchased this encouraged by the fact that CeraVe are typically a good brand for those with sensitive skin, which I have. However, after applying this in the morning regularly for a few days, I ended up with raised small pumps on my T-zone, not quite spots, but definitely some contact irritation. I can only attribute it to this product as my skin routine was consistent otherwise. Also, after a few hours of having it on my face, I would end up with irritated red eyes where the cream would seep into my eyes. This would happen even without perspiration or rubbing the eyes. I've since switched to a LaRoche SPF moisturising lotion which I can't fault at all – no bumps/ red eyes, lightweight and fast absorbing.Alex

I've have problematic skin my ENTIRE life. Oily, acne prone, clogged, and irritated. I've tried Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, PanOxyl, ProActive, and more. I was unable to find anything that helped sooth my painful cystic acne. So as any young girl would, I started looking through YouTube to find a solution and stumbled upon this little gem. I had watched videos after videos of girls my own age at the time and women who struggled with acne their entire lives light up of this product. So I decided to give it a shot. The BEST decision I've ever made. My acne was under control! Products are different for everyone and that's just how it is. But this product changed my skin. I decided to try this soap out since people were raving about it. I have medium dark skin and I blemish easily from acne and just about anything. I also have very sensitive skin from follicular dermatitis so I was hoping for the best in this soap. I usually use doves body wash, but when I used the African soap, it actually didn't aggravate my skin. I like that it's for face and body so I'm trying it out on my face as well. Overall, I have no problem with it. Just make sure to moisturize because soaps tend to dry out your skin. I noticed some significant decrease in the darkness of my blemish spots. Hope they make this bar of soap in a body wash with the same cleansing effects. I will still buy this bar of soap from now on!Reshmi R

This hyaluronic acid serum performs just like most other hyaluronic acid serums made by the cheapest form of hyaluronic acid which is sodium hyaluronate a k a the salt form of hyaluronic acid that needs something to solve it with. It means it’s the form of HA that sits on the skin and pulls hydration to itself which temporarily makes the skin look plump. But if you have dry or dehydrated skin beware a bit as since a HA serum like this is hungry for a lot of hydration it will not just soak up whatever hydration you have added to the face in the form of moisturisers and perhaps other serums – no once those sources are up it will pull hydration from deep within your skin if it can find any and attach it to itself. And since HA in any form and especially in the form of sodium hyaluronate has too large molecules to ever be able to penetrate the outer layer of the skin, it will not share any of its greedily soaked up hydration with your thirsty skin. But will just sit there and poof itself up which looks great as it makes the surface of the skin look smooth and plump. But once it evaporates it will take all of the hydration from your skin with it and vanish into the thin air… So as a primer or temporary skin plumper – this (and every other HA serums you can find for about 15-20£, and not 200 £!?) is great. But it will not do anything long term for your skin except slowly deplete it of hydration and potentially make it drier and drier and more and more dependent on hydrating products… (The reason it pills on some is when it can’t find enough hydration or humectants in the skin to poof itself up. Then it balls up instead). The only thing interesting in this product is really the so called purslane or portlac extract which dr Stürm uses in all her products. It’s a ferment that helps out with the microbiome in the skin. But as there are plenty of other serums and products today with fermented ingredients in them (at more reasonable price points too since fermented ingredients like HA are dirt cheap to formulate with) you should not allow yourself to be fooled into believing that this can do something more for your skin because it is priced like would it be a diamond. I have to say I'm really liking this product line. I've been using the product for just over a month now. The product goes on easily and does not leave any heavy residue behind. I'm sharing before and after photos for your own review and decision making. The closer picture is the after using for a month. I personally can't say whether I really see a difference. I can say that whether it's working or not or if it's been long enough using to notice, I do love the products. Applying them makes me feel pampered and want to try additional products, specifically their eye cream. I will say this product has no scent so I'd assume it's safe for those with sensitive sense of smell. I also let my daughter try it one night. She has sensitive skin and has absolutely no reaction to the products. I definitely recommend the products if you want to feel pampered, or at least one of their spas where you can actually get pampered with the products. But these products are quite expensive so keep that in mind. Another plus is their customer service. I reached out to them because I wanted to know their policy for handling situations where the pipette breaks inside the product bottle as both the bottle and the pipette are made of glass. I don't know much about the Dr. Barbara Sturm brand or if there's any reason to justify this price. The only justification for this price that I really know of in terms of brands is Deciem's NIOD brand – Non-Invasive Options in Dermal Science, particularly for their innovation and evidence-based practice. I believe that NIOD has a comparable product, and if I had to choose to buy one, I wouldn't hesitate choosing NIOD due to their reputation. ✨Pricing✨ The mini size of this product is $65 Canadian for 10mL, and the full size product is $190 Canadian for 30mL. Considering the price, I checked the Sephora website and this product does have a almost 4 star rating, and a lot of the reviews are mixed because people do appreciate the glow but cannot justify the cost. ✨My Experience✨ I received this product by selecting it as a reward and exchange for points of accumulated at Sephora. Generally, $1 spent at Sephora equals 1 point. This product can be redeemed for 100 points. For 100 points, I got a 3 mL size, which I consider to be quite small. In addition, this product was limited to registered reward members that are at a higher status – specifically those with a very important buyer status and Rouge members, which have a minimum spending requirement per calendar year. I don't necessarily think that this was worth the points. Although this does increase the glow, you know what else increases glow? Using a moisturizer with a dewy finish, or even a facial oil. I love this cream, it's light but very hydrating. It sinks in beautifully and leaves your skin plump and feeling amazing. I had always thought the richer the better with a cream and then wondered why I would get blocked pores. I have oily skin and this is perfect, even now going into winter. My skin has completely transformed since I went for a facial at a Sturm spa and they recommended products to me and told me to lay off the acids. They are honestly the first products I have ever tried that deliver amazing results, I am a total convert. I use this, the hyaluronic serum, the night serum and the enzyme wash. I have been using Dr. Sturm’s original eye cream for over a year, and love the lightweight texture and pure formula that never has caused problems for my very my sensitive eyes. With this new anti-aging Sturm eye cream, I wanted the assurance of having a non – reactive cream that also delivered more benefits for my dark circles and puffiness. The new cream is just as non – stinging, is just as gentle to the eyes as DrSturm’s original. It is not as lightweight, but is quickly absorbed and feels as refreshing as the original. After a month of use, I think my dark circles and puffiness are somewhat better, my upper lids look a little lifted (if I’m not too tired). The biggest difference is that my fine ( and not so fine) lines have benefitted greatly from the extra hydration. There is a smoothness that makes concealer application much easier. I know there is no such thing as a magic eye cream. Dr Sturm delivered on her promise of having anti-aging properties in a formula that did not inflame the very sensitive tissue around my eyes. I used an entire jar of this over a 6 month period and was disappointed and I can't recommend it: Cons: – Does not actually treat or prevent dark circles. Instead the cream has a light reflecting quality that works as a very temporary improvement in dark circles (like as in slightly less dark for about 30 minutes). – No improvement in my 35 year old fine lines around the eye area. – Not moisturizing enough. – Product did not seem to last throughout the day. – Tended to clog the pores in the under eye area. – Price is too high for lack of performance. Pros: – Pretty container – Lasted 6 months – Did not sting my eyes Instead of buying this product again I have switched to using my retinal around the under eye and layering with Susanne Kaufmann eye cream (only $50). I have to say the reviews surprised me. I've been using this serum with my routine for 3 weeks now and can only say good things. My skin is very dry and dehydrated. I'm in my 40s with some old sun damage and fine lines and my goal was to help heal my pregnancy melasma and help texture and lines. I use a korean essense first, followed by this niacinamide serum, vitamin c serum, a moisturizing ceramide toner and a moisturizing sunscreen every day and use a peptide-cerimide mousurizer unstead of sunscreen at night. The only thing I changed 3 weeks ago was switching out my old hyaluronic acid serum for this product. My skin is glowing. Im noticing a slow decrease in the extra texture and "patchiness" and keep getting complimented by friends who see it too. I saw a change after my 2nd time.

I too have fallen for the Niacinamide fad that had happened on Insta and have tried my share of different Niacinamide serums. The @naturium serum is by far my favorite stand alone Niacinamide product. It checks off everything in the box, high percentage, formulated with Zinc, works well with layering. It shows a visible difference in my skin when used consistently. The other ingredients include, Propanediol, Glycerin, Zinc PCA, Vitamin E, by and Sodium Hyaluronate. Zinc is supposedly an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regulates oil. It also shows to protect and aid in wound healing and regeneration. This is why Zinc Oxide is so often found in high performing sunscreens, as it can reflect the sun and it creates a barrier between the skin and any damaging UV rays. The serum feels hydrating, non-sticky, and has very light creamy/gel texture. The serum absorbs into the skin nicely and helps reduce some of my dark spots and provides a nice glow. I received this product for free from Influenster and AHC for reviewing purposes. I used this product as an alternative to my regular hyaluronic acid serum (The Ordinary) in my AM and PM skin care regimes. When I first started using this, I noticed immediate difference in my skin the next morning. My skin was soft and smooth and very moisturized. I found that the recommended number of drops to be too much for myself. I noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin. It looked like I was wearing face priming products to smooth out my skin. I also found that when I wasn’t consistently doing my skin care regimes, by face still retained a lot of moisture from when I last used the product. It definitely has long lasting effects. Personally, the ONLY short term issue I had with the product was the fragrance. I have been using fragrance free or natural smelling products for about 2 years. I was very thrown off by the smell when I started using this product. As the weeks went on, I’m now used to the smell. At first I did think it was a deal breaker, until I saw the effects on my skin. I was lucky enough to receive these products complimentary from AHC for testing purposes. All opinions remains my own. Aqualuronic Emulsion is a hydrating lightweight formula with a milky texture aimed to nourish dry skin, refine skin texture, plump up fine lines and wrinkles caused by dehydration. It uses a blend of hyaluronic acid, ceramides and french sea water. Key ingredients include – Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, Ceramide, Eucalyptus leaf extract and Quinoa seed extract. AHC emulsion recommends 4-6 pumps per application. It’s so spreadable that I felt 4 was plenty, especially if you are layering products. Outside of testing purposes I would do 3 pumps. It’s lightweight in texture and on skin and is quickly absorbed without leaving any sticky or tacky residue. Suitable for AM and PM routines and I have been using for both. There was no overwhelming scents so I would say it’s going to be suitable for sensitive skin. It does leave your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Within my skincare routine this is applied after serum but before moisturiser, whilst I’ve been using this I have been able to use a thinner texture moisturiser without feeling as though I am compromising any hydration for my skin. I can imagine this being used well in colder months to maintain moisture and hydration in skin without having to necessarily switch to a thicker/creamier moisturiser. In terms of skin appearance after use.. I’ve been using this product for just over one week before giving my review; from what I’ve noticed my skin looks bright, I don’t seem to be getting oily spells during the day yet my skin feels soft and hydrated all throughout. I don’t know why this stuff is so good, but the results are astounding. This is not greasy whatsoever, and soaks in quickly. I have extremely dry skin. I have chosen to use this nightly only because of the price point. I use something different for mornings, but I would use the transformation cream more often if I could afford to! This face cream really does transform your face. I received a sample of the Bioglycolic cleanser and the Transformation cream at my local Massage Envy. After one use I noticed a difference. My skin needed some TLC after being diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) and undergoing 6 months of IV Chemo and 1 year of Chemo pills. My skin has never looked better in my entire life. I have only been using the Bioglycolic Cleaner, C-Esta, the Transformation Cream, and the tinted sunscreen for 3 weeks!! I am no longer wearing foundation. I honestly have yet to see any results. I do like the applicator bottle, it's unique and allows me to shake a bit directly onto the skin. I do like that this serum has some good key ingredients like glycolic acid, tranexamic acid, and niacinamide. Because of those key ingredients I believe my skin is still benefiting from my continued use of this Vichy serum. It does have some good claims like fade dark spots which I do have, reduce the look of wrinkles which I also have, and even skin tone out which I can benefit from. I don't know if this is a serum that will take awhile before seeing any or some results. I don't like that the serum stays tacky on my face, so I just wait a few minutes and apply the moisturizer over it and then of course I don't feel the tackiness after that. I will continue to use it because of the key ingredients, but I am hoping to see results in a few more months. I've been using it for about a month and a half. I've been using the Vichy LiftActiv B3 Serum everyday for 3 weeks now. I started off using twice a day as per the directions on the bottle but I felt like the more sensitive areas on my face was drying out. I used it once a day after that and had no more problems with drying skin. I like that the serum is more liquidlike and not sticky. It's closer to the consistency of water which I like because it doesn't feel sticky on my face like other serums. It gets absorb into my skin quickly and feels like I have nothing on my face which I like. It has a very slight chemical smell but I don't mind. As far as effectiveness, I've definitely noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. My pores are not as visible which makes my face look smoother. I've also noticed the dark spots of my face due to acne blemishes are looking more red than the dark brown color they were before so they are fading. Overall my skin also looks clearer and brighter. My only negative is I wish that the bottle were different. I don't like having to shake the bottle a couple of times to get a few drops on my hand. I'd rather a pump where I can apply the product to a cotton round and then use it on my face. I don't like having to use my hands to apply it.Trice

This is the best "serum" I have EVER used, & I've used alot in my 51 years. The main reason I bought this is I have been "researching" the ingredient transemic acid, as it is supposed to help redness caused by broken blood vessels (which I have on my cheeks & sides of nose). This redness/veins are the only thing that ruin my fair complexion & make me require make-up when leaving the house! I ditched the pharmerceris redness serum after using for 6wks as it dried my skin out too much. And have given up on a cheaper brand of simple transemic acid which hasn't made any difference after using half a bottle. This serum has a feather light watery texture, I lightly shake into palm of hand & with 2 fingers together dab all over my face including eye orbital at night gently massaging in. In this very hot weather, when it is hard to stop sweating, this light serum is a godsend on its own-it leaves my face feeling soft, smooth & hydrated, & INSTANTLY makes my skin look glowy(not greasy), erases open pores on nose/cheeks, evens out my skintone, softens all my fine lines, makes my skin feel plumped & firmer, & gives enough hydration to not bother with a moisturiser afterwards(if it wasn't so hot at present, I would moisturise afterwards). A lot of reviewers say it burns. It does a little but this is what made me feel like it's working. I didn't get any redness just felt a tingle. Aren't retinoids supposed to sting a little if they're strong? I can't say I pay close enough attention to see a difference. Then again, I've tried other retinoids and don't see a difference with them either, so I might just not have an eye for gradual improvement. Some other Retinoid products didn't have the slightest sting, which made me feel like they just don't have any oomph. But I could be wrong. I also got the trial size as a gift with purchase so I didn't use it for long. Because I got the trial tube, I can't speak to the complaint I've seen about that and wasted product.Bea

After exfoliating in the shower and application, the product stings my skin and it has a burning sensation that has lingered for several minutes. My face is quite red from it – probably from the Retinol and possibly from applying it ontop of my serum with hyaluronic acid (my mistake). All the previous times I've applied it, there is a slight tingling where you massage the product into the skin. Not unpleasant but on sensitive skin it may be irritating and may not be suitable to apply every day. Press down on the top to squeeze out the product – a full push down dispenses just a touch too much product for my face – but I would probably use this amount on an extra dry day. The product comes out the colour between pale yellow to pale seafoam green. There is only a slight scent – not overpowering but not fragrance-free and I quite enjoy it. Bonus: you can unscrew the lid to scoop out the product at the end of use. I know it's supposed to be a 2-in-1 serum with cream but it's consistency and the feel on my skin makes me want to either use a serum first and/or apply a moisturizer after. I've been applying a serum before and it seems to be the best route for me. It's also winter so my skin is naturally dryer than normal so I would be happy to use this product without an additional serum or moisturizer in the hot summer. It's got a thick consistency but is not greasy at all. It soaks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave any kind of residue. Sometimes when I use a serum and moisturizer, there's an odd reaction where it pills or balls up, like dead skin – this does not do that. I've been using it for over 1 month now and I didn't have any notable wrinkles to begin with, but I haven't gotten any new ones…so I am happy with that! I Love these serums and use All 3. I noticed improvement in my skin’s texture, clarity, firmness and moisture content, honestly after just a week!, with increasing improvement with daily use. Amazing! Although I’ve had no problems thus far, it is known that retinol can be drying, so I’ve decided to use it only 2-3 days/week. After cleansing I use the Tree of Life Vitamin C toner, then apply the serums in the following order: Eyebright, Vitamin C, Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. I was looking for a serum that was affordable but actually works and found this on Amazon. They have great reviews so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. My skin feels great when I use the trio. This stuff works! I purchased this set on Amazon when looking for a trio that would be clean and cruelty free. I usually use the Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid during my morning skincare routine, and save the Retinol for nights as it tends to dry out my skin. Finish with a good moisturizer and it’s all good for the night. It works this way for me. Tree of Life is all about clean, effective, attainable skincare… and they deliver! Looks like the packaging has change since I bought las time, and price increased in a few bucks, but its still worth it. These products also claim to have a green tea scent to it but I’m unable to identify that smell. No big deal. No reactions to any of the products. PROS: firminess, wrinkles improvement, skin is softer hydrated. Price is fair CONS: It doesn’t come with instructions, so if you’re new to it, you might need to google. Overall, it took about 2-3 months of consistent routine to see major results. My skin looked better after about a month, but now it glows. I’ve been using this Dr, Dennis Gross Vitamin C Serum every morning for approximately two months and I’ve noticed a phenomenal improvement to the texture and firmness of my skin. I previously used SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic for two years. I was hesitant to forgo this serum because it’s backed by more clinical data than any other vitamin c serum on the market but the price was killing me. I first tried Timeless 20% Vitamin C serum which is apparently a dupe for Skinceuticals CE ferulic, and although I didn’t mind it, it was a bit too watery for my liking. I then tried Paula’s Choice C15 serum which I quite liked. As I was almost running out and ready to order more, I saw Dr Dennis Gross’ new Vitamin C+Lactic serum at Mecca and decided to buy it. I’m glad I did. I love it. I’m 51 and my skin is in good condition all things considered. It has lightly lightened my hyperpigmentation marks but the main improvements from this serum is noticeably firmer and brighter skin and I kid you both the wrinkles around my eyes have diminished considerably. It’s an oily textured serum which I don’t mind at all and I have combo skin. Probably because I’ve used SkinCeuticals for years and that felt oily to me. As for the weird smell some reported. I am a big fan of Dr Den but have to say that this product has left me confused and disappointed. I don't understand the texture, at all. It's so runny that you can't seem to distribute it around the face and neck as it's so watery that sinks in immediately, yet still manages to feel sticky. It is also incredibly powerful so left my face very red and sting-y, taking several days to settle back down. I'm thinking of adding a few drops to something else and seeing how that goes but haven't yet got up the gumption so I don't think that's a good sign. Lastly, the smell is truly awful, with an air of burnt – well, I don't quite know what but burnt something – about it. It's not often I'm this disappointed but I really don't get this. I normally splash out and use SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF which is my holy grail vitamin C, but I’m always looking for a cheaper option. Enter this product – firstly I was worried about the lactic acid in it, but I can honestly say that my skin hasn’t reacted negatively to it. In fact I think it’s helped with my dehydration. As other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn’t smell the greatest – but I’m used to the ‘scientific smell’ from using SkinCeuticals. The smell doesn’t last long either. It works well with my HA serum (which I use after this) and overall my skin is looking brighter and I have a subtle glow. I’m very impressed with this product and definitely prefer it to the highly regarded Medik8 vitamin C products (which are more oil based). I have been looking for a new eye cream that isn't too greasy and also has anti-aging benefits. Look no further- this one is awesome. I wanted one with hyaluronic acid which this has! It also has ceramides and it's very moisturizing and absorbs into skin quickly but providing all hydration. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and can tell it's made my under eye area brighter and slightly firmer (less lines)! Hoping with continued use lines and wrinkles will fade more too! I've really enjoyed using this eye cream, I've already seen a slight difference in my under eye area. I typically use Origins Ginzing eye cream (my favorite), but this is a nice, alternative. They feel different; Origins (in a jar), has a looser consistency, the CeraVe Renewing Eye Cream (in a squeeze tube), dispenses a small amount of product at time & has to be rubbed out til "loose", to really spread the product. I stopped using my favorite, to give this an honest review & see if my under eyes would suffer, they did not. This picked up where Origins left off. My under eyes have been extremely smooth & a little brighter. My concealer hasn't been creasing when I wear makeup (started creasing during my no eye cream period before using this product). I have normal to combo skin. I get the occasional blemish, the sides of my nose can get a little oily at the end of the day, and I have eczema that sometimes flares up. Wow! I've been using this set for 5 weeks now and noticed an amazing difference after 2 weeks – so much so I ordered the day time set as well. These kits save you so much money, buying the bottles separate is pricey. For example the Luna oil in this kit (same size) is $70 😱 That said… my skin is softer, smoother, my dark spots have faded a lot, my skin tone is more even. I love this kit and plan on buying it again. **it should last about 2.5-3 months in combination with the day time kit*** Some tips to help it last longer: The Good Gene's product is in a plastic type container within the glass, I removed it and was able to push out 5 more days! (Using twice a day). Skin experts say you only need to wash at night, so I've only been using the face wash at night, I feel like it will last the longest. So I’ve been using this product for 4 months and I’m not really sure what all the fuss is about. I heard it’s the best ever and I just had to have it. So I bought it and have been using it but I’m not seeing any big results. I like how it feels when it goes on. I’m hoping it’s doing what it says it’s doing. I’m just not sure if it is. I use this product morning and night in my trouble areas, mainly to prevent frown lines between my eyebrows and expression lines on my forehead). This product, combined with some hyaluronic acid, has really helped my skin smooth out and has prevented any further damage to my skin from stress. The product is a little pricey, but I've personally seen great results for it – much more impressive than even more expensive skin products. This cream works great for dark spots. I had a lot on my chest due to age and sun damage. Previously, I had 2 IPL treatments without much results. But after using this cream, the spots are getting much smaller, breaking up and going away. It is not greasy and does not smell at all. I'm super sensitive to makeup and lotion smells, but this stuff is great. It does not hurt or burn at all unlike other lotions and creams that I have used. Spots that were larger than a quarter, raised and waxy are now about the size of pencil eraser, so I can see they are smaller. I love what this product has done for my skin. I seriously feel it has taken years off my appearance. I started using it 3 years ago and continue to be impressed by the results. I have been using this product consistently 2x/daily for a little over 2 weeks. Now, I will start out by saying I am 49 and have very dry skin…like I rub shea butter into my face multiple times a day kind of dry. So, when I began using this product, I found it to not be moisturizing enough for me. I made sure to put it on damp skin and even patted on additional water, then I immediately followed up with my heavy moisturizer and shea butter. The first 10 days I found it a struggle to keep my face moisturized more than usual and there was some slight added redness and flaking. Now it seems to have calmed and I will admit my skin "feels" better texture-wise. However, I have been taking pictures each week to compare and I am not seeing much of a difference. I have no doubt that others may be experiencing great results, but for myself, I may end up trying another product. I went with this one because it claims to be deep penetrating and might help your skin to help itself. Not sure if it's doing that for me though, and given the price, this product needs to be absolutely worth it for me to continue with it. Right now, I am not sure that I will.Anonymous
