I bought this for my boyfriend because I wanted him to learn how to take care of his skin. It was incredibly acne prone, but has settled down significantly over the past few years. Now he has predominantly dry skin, a lot of texture, and an oily nose. I asked if he would try products if I got them for him and he said he would, so off to Ulta we went! We asked my esthetician what she would recommend for his skin concerns and ended up with this because it offers a nice array of products and is a great starter kit. He's new to skin care, so I told him I'd use all the products with him to demonstrate how to properly use them. The minute the face buff went on my face I was hooked! The granules are a decent size, but the formula is gentle enough to not irritate sensitive skin. I love the energizing effect of the menthol and there isn't an overpowering smell. It's very effective and even without a moisturizer it leaves my face feeling smooth, soft, clean, and moisturized! I look forward to using it every time I stay over to the point I'm getting a bottle all to myself! As for the face wash, it was okay but I didn't care for the smell–it's off, almost like it's gone bad but maybe it was just a bad batch. It also doesn't really lather, which is good for dry skin but the formula didn't wow me. It's a pass for me, but maybe there's another face wash from Jack Black that's better. The moisturizer is very light weight and didn't leave a residue, but I think for dry skin it isn't quite moisturising enough and would probably be better suited to oilier skin. Seeing as this was an intro to the brand, it's great for what it is. The lip balm is probably the least used product out of the kit, but it works well as a night treatment. It has a very strong mint smell and flavor, so those sensitive to either of those should probably avoid it. Using the products together as a routine has made a world of difference in his skin! He even told me how much of a difference he's noticed using the products and he's happy with the results. I think we found a great routine and from the looks (and feel) of it, it's something he can stick to. It's been about a month and I can't help but touch his face all the time now! I've just finished my first tube after about 9 months of using it at least 5 nights per week. I was looking for a retinaldehyde product after finding that every retinol product with more than .2 or .3 percent retinol would immediately cause me to get one or two huge, deep long-lasting pimples (which i normally never get). Anyway, after reading about how retinaldehyde (aka retinal) is more effective than retinol but less irritating, i thought I'd give it a try. I love Allies of Skin for their multi-active ingredient focused approach. In addition to retinal, it has a ton of peptides, as well as some good antioxidants and brightening ingredients. This retinal cream is a pleasure to use but not as emollient as I expected, so I usually add a richer moisturizer or occlusive over my dry areas about 5 minutes after applying this. I'm using retinal as an anti-aging preventative measure to delay any further fine lines and discoloration that comes with age, so it's hard to say for sure that this product is working. But I can say that I enjoy using it, and it hasn't caused any breakouts or dryness. I only wish Allies would make a version with .1% retinal, as I am ready to increase to .1% and recently bought a cream from a different brand to get that strength. I’ve only been using for the past 2 weeks (alternating with tretinoin in my Curology rx), but have only good things to say so far as it has caused no irritation to my hypersensitive/reactive skin. I purchased this because I absolutely love and wanted to try another one of AOS’s products—so far, 1A is living up to all the hype! It’s a cosmetically elegant cream with hardly any scent; it smells like the ingredients rather than any added fragrance. One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about 1A is how quick and easy it is to use as a multipurpose nighttime product; I’m used to applying retinoids and waiting 30 minutes for them to fully absorb before applying moisturizer. 1A cut my routine time down by literally half an hour. I added extra moisturizer around my eyes and mouth (as usual), but was otherwise done after washing my face, applying a serum, and applying 1A. A 5 min night routine? Wild! I would absolutely recommend MMDC (~$90USD) for anyone with acne-rosacea, and I *think* 1A will eventually receive that recommendation too (especially if you can’t use tret), but I’ll update if anything changes after I’ve finished the tube! I have been using this night cream for about 3 months. I use it not every night but like 3 times a week. It has many active ingredients that usually my skin isn’t happy with. Usually I first see good results but in about two weeks, most of the times, I get some not really pleasant reaction to my skin and always have to stop using this kind of products. But this cream is ideal for me. I don’t know why but my skin kind of likes it. Maybe because it just suits me individually. But I also think it is because it is rather gentle. Anyway I am satisfied with results it gives to my skin. My skin condition has slightly improved. Maybe the result isn’t really dramatic. I’ve heard the hype around Barbara Sturm’s line, so I had high expectations when I received this complimentary through Influenster in exchange for my thoughts. This is a simple face cream without potent actives, though it does claim to reduce inflammation due to the inclusion of purslane and skullcap. This facial cream has a milky, almost serum-like consistency. It has great slip and easily glides over the skin. I found that I had to use very little product to cover my face and neck. I appreciated it being fragrance free. The jar is heavy glass with a matte texture that definitely looks and feels high end. However, jars contribute to ingredient breakdown and oxidation over time due to exposure to air. The efficacy of the purslane and skullcap in this formula will likely diminish over time as a result, which isn’t ideal for the price. I used this in place of my usual moisturizer for just shy of 3 weeks. I used it alongside the Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I’ve continued to use my retinoid a couple of times per week as usual. Immediately after use my skin looks and feels hydrated and supple while almost feeling like nothing is on it. It feels soothing on application, I don’t notice my face becoming greasy over time, and it wears well under makeup. But, my skin doesn’t feel like it retains moisture with this cream. After 2 weeks of regular use I noticed that my skin felt and looked more dry than usual, fine lines were more visible, and areas of redness were more pronounced. My fiancé even remarked that he could tell the difference. After resuming my usual face cream these issues resolved. While I like the consistency and feel of this cream, my usual moisturizer has better results in terms of hydration, plumping/line reduction, and complexion evening. I don’t think the price fairly reflects the formulation. I will pay high prices for products if the formula warrants it, but without potent actives or seemingly any nonstandard ingredients I think $225 for 1.69oz is asinine.
I have to say I'm really liking this product line. I've been using the product for just over a month now. The product goes on easily and does not leave any heavy residue behind. I'm sharing before and after photos for your own review and decision making. The closer picture is the after using for a month. I personally can't say whether I really see a difference. I can say that whether it's working or not or if it's been long enough using to notice, I do love the products. Applying them makes me feel pampered and want to try additional products, specifically their eye cream. I will say this product has no scent so I'd assume it's safe for those with sensitive sense of smell. I also let my daughter try it one night. She has sensitive skin and has absolutely no reaction to the products. I definitely recommend the products if you want to feel pampered, or at least one of their spas where you can actually get pampered with the products. But these products are quite expensive so keep that in mind. Another plus is their customer service. I reached out to them because I wanted to know their policy for handling situations where the pipette breaks inside the product bottle as both the bottle and the pipette are made of glass. I love this cream. To me, it's as light as a feather, I can barely feel it on my skin. I have rosacea and my skin is very sensitive. About a month ago my skin became so sensitive and burning, that I was not able to apply anything and literally nothing helped (but for azelaic acid, but it is usually very drying). I had a mini version of this cream and decided to give it a try and it was love at first sight. It is very hydrating and soothing (her light cream is even more soothing). My skin look and condition have really improved since I started using it. I'm using it now combining with BS cleanser and an azelaic acid serum. For the record, I tried plenty of not so expensive products (Biossance, Tatcha, Ren), but none of them gave such fantastic feeling to my skin. I hear a lot of reviews, that BS products are not so special and overpriced. I'd say, I'd also wished they cost less. They really don't have mind blowing ingredients, so if you need some quick results, they are not for you. But I would highly recommend giving it a try to people with the same issues as mine, with super sensitive skin, that needs gentle and soothing care rather than super active ingredients.Hanna K

I have really been enjoying Cetaphil Intensive Healing Lotion with Ceramides. I teach 5 year olds and wash my hands all the time and they get dry and cracked. With the pandemic, I’m washing my hands even more than usual. Most of the lotions I’ve used, especially on my hands, are only temporary fixes. Cetaphil Intensive Healing Lotion really hydrates my hands without being greasy and it lasts through a couple of washings without feeling the need to reapply. It’s unscented so there’s no overpowering fragrance. It’s also great on my elbows, knees, and legs! I have really noticed a difference in my hands since I usually start getting little cracks around my nails when the weather gets colder. I was looking for a lightweight moisturizer for the summer and I have had good luck with EltaMD products. It is definitely a light moisturizer best for normal to oily skin. It contains an AAComplex Technology which helps to repair damaged skin barrier. It calms skin and helps to minimize the risk of irritation. It’s also enriched with antioxidants to help defend against free radical damage. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it works better alone than with other products. Because of this, I only use it as a night time moisturizer. If you are looking for a lightweight moisturizer that dries down nice with added benefits, try it.
There are a lot of serums out there that don’t do much of anything. This one is different. I put it on when my face is feeling in special need of care — on top of my evening retinol treatment or in the morning if my skin is feeling in need of extra gentle care. And it does the job! It works beautifully with the EltaMD AM and PM moisturizers. In fact this is a product line where the products work better in combination with other products in the line. I was hesitant to try this serum because there were a few reviews about it causing breakouts. I was struggling with a few very dry, flaky patches on my face (my chin and on the side of my nose) along with small pimples on the end of my nose. I thought it was an age/hormone thing. I thought, "if it makes my breakouts worse, at least I tried" I have been using it for over a month and I LOVE it. I've tried a few Vitamin C serums and this has been one of my favorites. I've used this for approximately one month and have noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my acne scars. When I started this I had two inflammatory pimples on my face which left dark scars ,despite me not picking at them at all. I usually used this in the mornings along with sunscreen, which is highly recommended. From time to time I would use it in my night routine. My scars are almost completely gone. I know this is working because prior to me ever incorporating Vit C into my routine, my acne scars took forever to fade out. I do agree with others that it has a strange smell. To me it smells like the skin of a fruit; it's pretty tolerable in my opinion and it doesn't linger. I also agree with others that the pump needs work. Site recommends 2-3 pumps but I pump it at least 5 times because it doesn't always pump out enough serum. Overall, it's a great product and I would buy it again.Eileen
Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum is soo amazing. I felt like I noticed a radiance from within in days. Even when I would have break outs I was way more confident in my skin because it still looked healthier and vibrant thanks to this product! I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful healthy glow and the feeling of happy healthy skin. That being said, my only issue is the packaging had some leaking issues. I usually store my skincare laying down so I realized that it leaked when it was horizontal. However after that I stored it vertically and it had no issue. It also did not cause it to oxidize, but I can’t help but feel like I may have lost out on product due to leaking. I’ve seen other people complain about this issue as well, while other people have no problem, so I’m hoping they will be able to figure it out since it is only a packaging issue rather than a problem with the product itself. Let me start by saying that I have used many C and E ferulic serums. All the ones I have used had an oil base (the castor oil PEG comes to mind). Anyway that doesn’t work with my skin so I tried the really expensive version with silymarin only to find that it had Laureth-23 or 7 in it, which is a pore clogger for most of us and was very disappointing. Enter in Timeless… a brand i hadn’t heard of but once I heard about it I realized it was everywhere! People really like this stuff! So I decided to try is in the smallest size available because it is so reasonably priced and had no known pore cloggers in it. I have been using it for week and can honestly say my skin looks radiant! I am 40 with oily, acne prone skin and this stuff is so light! It absorbs immediately and has no funky smell, no oily residue, no stinging burning sensation and absolutely no irritation and the price is incredible! I use this product at night and my Neova Silk Sheer Sunscreen in the morning. That way I get my 2 applications of DNA repair.. I didn't read the reviews thoroughly to notice, and the description does not mention, that there was a strong scent. So I was very surprised. The first night I tried it the smell was so strong I could still smell it for at least 10 minutes after. I do not have sensitive skin and was nervous the smell would cause some irritation. I woke up and my skin was so soft and no adverse reactions, so I gave it another try. I used a little less product and didn't smell anything the second time. I've used it for about a week now and I don't even smell it when I put it on. I'm not sure if I've become used to the smell or whether adjusting the amount of product used is what's eliminating it but I definitely know my skin is so soft and it works well with my other nighttime skin care routine. Maybe just don't put it around your eyes.dmn
This Adv. Peptides & Flora Collagen Moisturizer is a great product. For me, when using I have diminished wrinkles, good moisture in skin. My husband loves this stuff and uses it nightly. As I have found with many DermaE nighttime or heavy moisturizing products, when applied they feel like they sit atop my skin like a mask. But when I wake up the moisturizer feels absorbed into my skin and my skin looks smooth, clear, fresh, and healthy. Now that I've discovered the DermaE brand, I stopped using all the dept. store brands and there is such a difference in my skin. I sure hope this company never self-destructs and changes formulas and ingredients just to save a nickel. I've tried a lot of face creams to help with the harsh winter temps and lack of humidity. My skin dries and flakes over the winter and most creams are so heavy they cause me to break out. This cream, however, is perfect as a night cream in the winter (I won't use it during the summer as it would be too heavy). A little goes a long way so not much product is needed. I into use it as night and I find it moisturizes my face without a greasy or heavy product feeling. I have combination skin and this cream works wonderfully. I bought this after seeing so much about it on social media. I purchased this, along with the Oil-In-Creme infusion (as a night cream) and the DayWear 72hr hydration sorbet cream. I also received a free gift that contained the Perfectly Clean foaming cleansing wash. I was still suffering from dry, flaky skin after using retinol, though I had stopped for around 2 weeks. I've tried a few moisturizers to try and restore my skin with little improvement. The night I received my order, I used the cleaning wash, followed by the ANR Serum, then the Oil-in Creme infusion. I wasn't expecting miracles, but was looking for some improvement to my skin. WOW!! By morning, my skin felt incredibly smooth and supple, the flakes were all but gone and the redness significantly reduced. Now, my skin looks better than it ever has – smooth skin, pores less visible, fine lines less visible. The serum has a really luxurious feel to it and soaks into the skin beautifully. When I apply moisturiser over the top, I don't experience any pilling like I have with other serums, particularly ones with hyaluronic acid. I no longer need a primer and my make up applies so well and lasts all day. For work, I use a drop of this serum to sheer down my Double wear foundation and it works a treat! EL night repair has more of a shaper more herbal medicine type of scent to it and it feels a little sting on my skin and sometimes I had ended with irritation and redness from the EL serum and other times I was okay. I feel when my skin is exfoliated sensitive then EL is likely to irritate I believe because of some of the ingredients in this. However I love the chamomile flower extract it's a wonderful ingredient I hope to see again in other products like the now discontinued double wear light soft matte hydra makeup had it too and was calming for redness. EL serum has a lot of claims but idk why it feels harsh on the skin for me sometimes even then it has chamomile, and also it has this type ingredient, that I find extremely weird, "Oleth-3 (comedogenic rating of 5), Oleth-5 (comedogenic rating of 3), and Oleth-3 phosphate (comedogenic rating of 2), I don't understand why these are in the EL advanced night repair serum especially with a comedogenic ingredient of rating 5 for me is a huge red flag especially that the claim in the description of the serum is "non-acnegetic won't clog pores" I'm not a cosmetic chemist but that just sounds bad when I looked up the ingredients and found this out. Overall i really like the serum but for the price EL serum needs to be truly calming on the skin and formula has room for improvement to not cause irritation. I have switched to Lancome and I am really enjoying the Lancome Advanced Genifique Face Serum. For high price The packaging is so much more beautiful than the Estee Lauder night repair serum and has the same exact texture, even better, most of all Lancome doesn't irritate my skin like EL night repair does. Lancome Genifique Face Serum has a very delicate fragrance and it's truly soothing on the skin,I mix it with my EL double wear foundation as it makes it a hydrating formula. I was super thrilled to finally have this complimentary deluxe miniature arrive in the mail from Estee Lauder! I previously tried and reviewed their eye serum, and remember how adorable the Robin’s egg blue box was with the gold foil accent. Inside came the miniature version of the Advanced Night Repair, Estee Lauder’s flagship serum. The serum comes in a dark amber vial with a dropper for the cap. Upon applying the product to my cleansed face, the softly amber-tinted serum adhered to my skin like magical dew drops. I personally much prefer a pump to a dropper, especially when it comes to something as runny as a serum. I was a sight to behold as I clumsily used the teeny tiny dropper to strategically dispense the serum evenly across my face – admittedly creating a bit of a mess in my sink in the process. This is a very concentrated serum, and I hadn’t realized that until I checked my skin about 15 minutes later. Even with my extremely dry skin, I managed to maintain the healthy, nourished, dewy look this product achieved. I have to subtract a star, because I did feel a bit of what I would describe as a slight greasiness after most of the product had absorbed. The plus to this, is that my skin was able to maintain it’s moisture and healthy glow. The downside is that I cannot stand touching my face and feeling any sort of “film” on top. The premise of this product is to replenish and renew your skin’s moisture barrier by night and provide powerful antioxidant protection against free radical damage induced by modern day stressors by day. While the anti-aging properties can be judged after weeks of consistent use, you will notice a visible boost to your skin’s radiance with just one dropper. I remember at the age of 18 years old, I purchased a bottle with my hard earned money because I heard so many great things about this product. At the time, I didn't see very much difference in my skin when using this– very gimmicky, but it was a great alternative to use as a toner when I didn't have any. I stopped using after a year and purchased a bottle maybe every other year to help my skin from not getting to use to the product. Now after 10 years, I can honestly say this is one of those skincare products that I have never replaced and is always consistent in my skincare routine. I don't use this as a toner but as an essence like it is meant to be (after toner). SK-II, let’s talk about it. So I just got the trial size, and so far I have noticed a big difference in skin texture and the fungal acne (or little bumps that wouldn’t every go away on forehead). I think the brightening was due to a vitamin C serum (from Sephora) I started. I have combo to dry skin, which I just figured out. Honestly makes a huge difference now that I’m moisturizing way more. So anyway, that’s what I’ve noticed over a few days, but that could change. It is a very watery formula, but the product comes out in droplets so you typically aren’t wasting. I just drop a few droplets on my hand, spread out on hand, and then dab into my skin. To me, it doesn’t smell and isn’t sticky or anything. Again, to me, it feels like nothing on my face. I use it pm and am, and I’ve barely made a dent in the trial size. Is it worth 235? Not unless you makin big bank. But I’ve had no adverse effects, and I really think it’s made a difference. This review is for SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) which was tested as part of a regimen sent complimentary from Influenster and SK-II for testing purposes. It’s difficult to distinguish the effects of the individual products used as part of the regimen, I’ve included an overall review for the regimen, and a review about specifics of the individual product in each product review on Influenster. I would do the same here, but for character limits. The regimen included: Facial Treatment Cleanser, Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence), and SKINPOWER Cream, applied in that order. Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence): 5/5 My impression of the Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) is very positive. I will start by mentioning that it had quite a strong smell, reminiscent of Sake, but for some reason it doesn’t come off to me as something that would irritate people who are scent sensitive (for allergy purposes. If you’re scent sensitive for purposes such as migraine triggers, it’s still a no, but I get migraines and it didn’t happen to trigger me, for whatever that’s worth to you). This product is definitely moisturizing and softening, but I’m also quite certain that this is responsible for much of the dewiness and brightening I get from this regimen. I do not have the problem with this product bottle that I have with the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, as even though I still apply with my hands, I only get about a drop out at a time when I invert the bottle, which is what I want to prevent waste. If I had to order all the products in this regimen from most to least favourite, this would be at the top. It’s clearly the secret sauce of this regimen and makes the biggest difference. Bought this for my acne hyperpigmentation after seeing all the great reviews. I have hormonal acne which usually means that I break out on a monthly based around that time of the month. However, I got prescribed medication for this earlier this year and I barely every break out anymore. So I introduced this serum into my skincare now that it's clearer to start working on those marks. I first tried this for about 3 weeks and was breaking out constantly so I gave it a break and thought maybe it's another serum I started around the same time. So I waited a month to try this again and I put some twice in a row at night only and woke up with crazy acne. I literally take medication that internally controls my acne so I knew what I had used externally was the problem. Not sure what it is with the serum but it was the culprit of my random breakouts. This is an update to my review in August. My first bottle was purchased in June of 2021. I had EXTREMELY bad hyperpigmentation. When I used the combo of the Niacinamide toner and this serum, in 6-8 weeks, my skin was completely cleared up. After the serum was gone, I used the toner a few times a week, because it was all I needed with my clear skin. I’m a picker when I’m under stress, so I purchased another set last month and I knew after a few weeks, something was definitely different. The results weren’t the same. I know this formula has changed. I’m sure you don’t care, but this was the first serum that I found that worked for African American dark skin. Reading some of the reviews, I’m quite sure that you don’t listen to your customers, as I see plenty have stated that they’ve experienced minimal results and you haven’t changed it back to the original formula. This has been one of the best serums I have ever used on my skin!! I have a history of horrific acne, and as it’s been clearing up, this has been a game changer for my routine. With consistent use, I see results within weeks, and this is coming from someone who has tried EVERYTHING. I purchased this to address my most stubborn melasma spots. I began using every other night and have now moved to 1x per day. Too early to give the final word as to whether it is effective because melasma takes a lot of time and effort to fade but I’m hopeful. It has not caused any irritation or sensitivity and I have very reactive skin so I am hopeful that after using for a few months, it will have positive results.

I have light asian skin with stubborn dark patches after IPL. Tried acid peels, picosure laser, and tranexamic acid tablets with minimal improvement. This product has helped lighten my dark spots on my cheeks by at least 50%. Tranexamic acid blocks melanin activity. I used this every morning with a vit c serum beneath my spf 50 sunblock, and then again at night with an antioxidant (CE ferulic) serum glytone brightening complex, for 5 months. This product is much more effective than the Skinmedica Lytera 2.0. I have sensitive skin and have had no reactions. It has no fragrance and absorbs fairly well, but you have to give it a minute. Product efficacy: No results, if anything makes my skin worst and emphasize pore size and fine lines. I've been using this for a weeks now, along with the tranexamic acid serum, and my really dark and stubborn post acne marks (that seemed like they would never go away) have been significantly lightened! For context, I have olive to tan skin and am very prone to dark hyperpigmentation. I had a really bad hormonal/cystic acne breakout last year that left me with dark marks all over my face and basically everything I've been using, up until now, has barely made a difference. Within a couple weeks of use of this and the tranexamic acid serum, my skin is significantly brighter, more even, and has less dark post acne marks. I have even noticed that the texture of my skin has also gotten a bit smoother. I also really love how gentle this is because I have very sensitive skin and this didn't irritate my skin at all! I use this in my night routine and make sure to skip out on any other actives to avoid skin irritation. I also always pair this with the tranexamic acid, which I'll use in the morning in place of my vitamin c and niacinamide serums, and I've found that pairing these together, while rotating with my other actives (vitamin c and niacinamide in the morning with retinol at night) has worked really well for my skin. If you have stubborn hyperpigmentation and want something effective, but you need it to be gentle and free of irritating ingredients, I would highly recommend this!VC

As a master aesthetician of over thirty years, I was in all honestly not expecting the reaction I had which was OH MY GOODNESS this is not like other at home microderm machines. I have worked with several dermatology grade like the Diamondtome to smaller units for spas and at home labels but they just always seemed insufficiant. First off, I was surprisingly pleased with how quiet the motor runs with this unit. Some microdermabrasion machines sound like a jackhammer going off but not this one. The system is sleek and not bulky with convenient compartments to store all of your extra parts like filters, and extra tips which you can purchase from Trophy Skin. The unit itself comes with just the one standard grit microderm diamond tip which is sufficient to achieve all of your exfoliation facial needs. If you would like the precision tip it is more pointy like a pencil tip, to get into areas hard to reach like the eyes and crevices. There is also a larger diamond tip for the body if you are focusing on tone, texture, or scars. The unit is also easy to take with so you don't have to miss a treatment while traveling. It does help to watch a youtube video before you jump in and initiate treatment. Another surprise was that It also has so much suction power! As a skin care expert I jumped right into the preset settings to see how this would feel for my clients if I recommend it. (there is also the option of a manual setting but the pre-set is ideal for optimal overall treatment). I will say to beware if you have clients that overly do skin care because this is a powerhouse of a tool. Never push aggressively into your skin as this will compromise the integrity of the skin by tugging and pulling and may also overly exfoliate. Onto the why exfoliate: As we age our skin greatly slows down with the cellular renewal process so this is exactly why we need to exfoliate to maintain a youthful appearance. Exfoliation kicks the cells into a higher gear and allows for oxygen to flow more freely to nourish and feed the skin's cells. When this happens, it is also supporting collagen renewal and growth. Please follow the instructions closely along with any contraindications. Do not use immediately after botox or filler. Wait a full two weeks post cosmetic fillers. Also do not use immediately following laser or chemical resurfacing. I also tell my clients to do as I say not as I do (lol). I needed to get my review done in a timely fashion so I had just done a light 20% glycolic peel and two days later tried this system out upon arrival. Keep in mind I have very prepped and seasoned skin with the product ingredients I use and the amount of time I've been using professional dermatology grade skin care. I used the system twice in one week and had amazing professional results. So good that in all honesty this would replace salon/spa microdermabrasion. I have been using Dr. Sturm’s original eye cream for over a year, and love the lightweight texture and pure formula that never has caused problems for my very my sensitive eyes. With this new anti-aging Sturm eye cream, I wanted the assurance of having a non – reactive cream that also delivered more benefits for my dark circles and puffiness. The new cream is just as non – stinging, is just as gentle to the eyes as DrSturm’s original. It is not as lightweight, but is quickly absorbed and feels as refreshing as the original. After a month of use, I think my dark circles and puffiness are somewhat better, my upper lids look a little lifted (if I’m not too tired). The biggest difference is that my fine ( and not so fine) lines have benefitted greatly from the extra hydration. There is a smoothness that makes concealer application much easier. I know there is no such thing as a magic eye cream. Dr Sturm delivered on her promise of having anti-aging properties in a formula that did not inflame the very sensitive tissue around my eyes.
