I have hair just above the shoulder and the Rockaway spray works wonderfully in my hair! A lot of salt sprays can leave that crunchy nasty feeling in your hair but this does not, I just spray it on my towel hair and I use my fingers to scrunch and the Rockaway Spray does the rest of the work for me. Some days I just put a few spritz in my hair for volume and it works great for that too! Most salt sprays have a beachy or coconut smell but Rockaway has more of a citrus smell with Amber, it’s not what you would think a salt spray would smell like but it smells DEVINE! The best part is R+Co products are cruelty/vegan/and gluten free plus this spray has UV protection and is safe on colored hair. So, what’s not to love? For $28 it’s a no brainer!caroline.b

If I could give this zero start I would. It left a sticky residue on ny hair that actually added to my tangle problem – I had to rewash it. Tried again a couple of weeks later just to see if I'd imagined it. Nope. Once hair had dried I could hardly get a combination though it and hair had a horrible tacky film on it. I’ve been using this product for about two years now and will never stop! I naturally have lots of fine, delicate and curly hair which gets damaged easily when wet. This is a product I would never have looked at, assuming that Marula would be too heavy for my fine coloured hair and preferring to stick to specialist hair companies rather than a diversification from a skincare brand. We own a Newfoundland that loves the water. Last week of June we had a hot spell where temps were in the 90s consistently for days. Nights were humid. Trying to make sure all our dogs had plenty of water, we neglected to do a brush out at night under our Newfies chin and around his ears. Consequently mats formed over the hot days with areas not drying completely which made the mats worse. Mane n tail was recommended, it does work with smaller mats, I spent several moments every day working on the larger mats, following the directions, with very little success. We learned a valuable lesson with our Newfs fur and what we need to do better. Ended up cutting the larger mats to a smaller size, then applying Mane n Tail working on the smaller size mats. Our Newf was very patient but would only hold still for 1015 minutes provided I moved to different areas on his chin, chest and ears. Chewys delivery was great, smell of the product was fine. Its not a miracle mat untangler, also depends on the kind of fur being untangled. Works much better on our Great Pyrenees fur than our Newfie fur.Anonymous

Works almost just as good as silicone which is a gel that coats the hair and keeps the stands seperated. When using on type 4 hair if you dont have the desired slip WHEN detangling just use silicone or a hair butter.

I have very fine, high porosity (very absorbent), blonde curly hair. I don't have the best of luck with styling creams, some work and some weigh my hair down, some feel very crispy, some make my hair look instantly greasy. This stuff works! I wash and condition (sun bum regular or Pacifica pineapple curls) and then put a little of this styling cream into my wet but not sopping wet hair. Then I sleep on it and in the morning my hair is good to go. Nice natural looking and feeling curls that stay in. As someone who has stick straight hair, I love this product. A disclaimer, my hair is not capable of getting that cute scrunched look. If I want curls, heat is my only option. I shower, add the styling cream (smells amazing), air dry overnight, and then curl in the morning. I love that this can be used on wet or dry hair. I have very fine, blonde color treated hair and it can end up straw like and dehydrated, I just mist this product on and gently pull it through and it totally closes the cuticle and gets rid of all the extra frizz. Also love that it doesn’t make my hair stringy like most hair oils that are anti frizz would do. I bought the Extende when I first began to try Lange products, just to see if I would like it. This is one of my most favorite products. I use it more for my daughters hair than my own because it actually detangles and conditions the hair. Unlike most other detanglers we had tried which left their hair felt sticky and gave no true conditioning, the extende leaves your hair smelling refreshed and helps smooth it too. My 9yo is super tender-headed and this helps the brush glide through her hair like butter! She HATES to have her hair brushed unless we use the Extende, and she will even ask if I will spray it on for her so she can brush her own hair as well. I definitely will be buying the cream version of the Leave in! It isnt bad but I am just not noticing it helping my hair. I had covid back in the end of September. I have ALWAYS had long beautiful hair. I take pride in my hair. Well, it recently started falling out in clumps. I am devastated to say the least and completely freaked out. I am hoping it is nothing serious. So far, L'ange has changed my dull, damaged, breaking apart fragile hair, into soft, silky, manageable hair in just 1 wash & by using the products/leave ins I purchased as well. I absolutely love this product. It is my go to especially on my daughter's hair (age 4) her hair can get pretty tangled and i simply just spray onto her hair and brush all the tangles out. This product is a life (well hair) saver! I was a bit worried as I've tried sprays and leave ins before and it's just made my hair greasy and it need washing again the very next day – not this one! I've been applying it after each wash and it makes my hair super easy to brush, no tangles! I love this product. I spray it a bit onto my palms then put it on the ends of my hair as it's only the part that is dry. I find if I spray it all over then it can make it feel a bit lank as the rest of my insteads to be a little greasy. But as you brush your hair some of the product will work its way through and then it's just even protection and makes straightening your hair so much easier.Jill S

I have to say that I LOVE this product, but I don't use it for what its original intention was. I find that as a curl refreshing spray it was way too heavy and left my hair with an unpleasant coating which I assume is due to the different oils in it. The ingredients list is amazing, though, and reminiscent of a homemade mask I used to put on my hair before wash days. I made that transition and now spray my hair thoroughly the morning of wash day and let it sit for about an hour. Rinsing it off with shampoo helps get rid of that greasiness, but my hair still absorbs all the nutrients and feels so healthy and soft afterwards. I've also noticed that it's gotten easier to detangle since I started doing this. All and all, I think this is a great product, but would emphasize that, at least for my hair, it didn't quite work for it's intended purpose.Frannie

I really wanted to be supportive and like this product, especially since I’ve seen all the “influences” raving about it. But it just did not work for my naturally curly hair. It instantly dried my hair, the texture of it was just awful. Difficult to explain, but the moment I sprayed it on I noticed a weird texture to my hair that I was not ok with. I thought once I followed up with the cream, my hair would feel better, but nope it only added to it. I have healthy curls, never dyed hair, so none of those are factors on why this product did not work for my curls. The scent of the product is great, the curls after they air dried and settled were ok, but did not get that instant WOW effect like EVERYONE appears to be having. I couldn’t get over how it instantly dried out my hair with that awful texture. I did try application over the course of a week, and my view still stands, it never got better, every application the texture felt the same. This product is missing hydration to the formula, which is important for curly hair. If the formula is ever updated, I’ll give it another try. The packaging also needs improvements, I too received a broken spray bottle. I’ll stick to my other curl specific line of products that I also purchase from target for now that fall within the same price point. But, by all means, try it out and see is it works for you!Banana

I love this stuff. I have very long, fine, thin, dead hair. I put a lot of heat on my hair and it kills my hair. I have used a lot of different detanglers and leave-in conditioners that have all worked fine but this is my favorite! It makes it so easy to brush through my wet hair and after drying my hair is much softer and smoother than when I use a different leave-in conditioner that I have. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is it's FAR too expensive for how little it is. I personally don't think you get what you pay for but it helps my dead damaged hair!KKB
I was surprised by how much I really liked this product as my experience has always been hit or miss with TIGI hair products. Most of them (ok, the majority of them) are just not compatible with my very long hair that is semi-course, wavy/kinky, oily scalp, very dry hair. They are either too moisturizing and not good for my greasy scalp or too drying for my hair but good for the greasy scalp. This stuff is great from my hair – and it never even affects my scalp (as long as I only spritz from my ears down to the ends). My hair is waist length so I use about 4-5 sprays on each side of my head and then comb/wet brush it through. My tangles are gone, my hair smells like a tropical paradise, and it's super shiny and soft!! I wash my hair every 3-4 days and I don't have to respray it in-between to keep the shine. I am totally blown away that it doesn't add any greasy feeling to my hair – it's just incredibly soft and very, very shiny!! I will definitely be buying this product again!fhr

I have baby fine hair and really dislike conditioners that you leave in. I often use detangler and found this to not only detangle but also condition hair as well. Nice scent, not feminine by any means. One downside is the sprayers on this product shoot more of a stream than a mist so I have to use another spray bottle to get a fine mist. That resulted in deducting a star. I have to say if your hair is oily, this is not the product for you as it does impart conditioning and someone with oily hair would likely find it over conditioned. I thought this was going to be a leave in conditioner spray like pretty much every other one on the market. I was wrong. To start off, this isn't a liquid.It's literally like what comes out of your conditioner bottle, which is to say that for some thing that's marketed and sold as a spray, it's really thick. Which leads me to my next point: it won't spray out of the provided nozzle. It kind of half mists, but if you're trying to apply it to you hair in a hurry/quickly, you better find something else because I spent five minutes trying to spray it on to just a quarter of my hair. I bought this product because the normal brand I use wasn't available at the store I was at at the time. However, upon this one attempted us, I'll be pitching this in the trash and making an extra trip to get the leave in conditioner spray that I normally use. This is such a cute and sturdy brush. My head is very sensitive and I absolutely hate brushing my hair and even more so when it’s dry. I have 3b type hair and I don’t normally use brushes with bristles like these anymore, but I decided to try it on my dry and tangled hair and I have to say that I like it. The bristles are a lot softer than I expected and they move with your hair while you brush so it makes it a lot less painful. And because the bristles are soft they can get damaged pretty easily. My daughter’s hairs were smooth and all of a sudden she got knots everyday. I bought this detangling spray and it helped tremendously. I would spray her wet hairs with 4-5 sprays before blow-drying. I LOVE this detangler spray and so does my 7y year old. She has long, wavy hair that tangles faster than you can imagine. she is constantly moving, so her hair is ALWAYS getting knotted up. She has always cried when getting her hair combed. I have tried so many products, from cheap to VERY expensive to find a product that works like this one!!! After only a few days of using this product, her hair doesn't seem to knot up as easily and the tangles she does get comb out with ease. My 4 year old daughter has terribly tangle prone hair. We have tried a couple of other detangle products with not much luck. Brushing her hair has always been a daily battle. But this stuff is amazing! It works so well – I was able to brush almost completely through her hair after spraying it on with almost no effort. This is the BESSSSSST detangling product I have ever used. I discovered this 6 months ago. This product was missing from Sally’s site for a few months & I thought it was discontinued. I had a heart attack & tried other brands to see if I could find a back up. I still cannot find another mist that works this good. I have straight, coarse, thick hair that is bleached. It gets tangled so easily and this stuff is like magic to get it out. I’ve had huge bird nest-like knots before & this got them out with no breakage. This was a very helpful product. Although I also paired this with SILK ELEMENTS. The Ion detangling mist smelled very good although to improve this product I would have to say try to some way improve the long lasting. It drys out very fast on my hair. This is still a good product, was very helpful for me I have naturally thick curly hair so I get tangles alot and sometimes they get pretty bad so this was very very helpful for me personally. This is my first time trying this. It leaves my hair really soft and silky. I have only used it a couple times so far so can't speak for longer or more frequent use. I did not have an issue with it making my hair oily or anything. As far as the scent, it's not great, but not bad either. Other products have a more pleasant scent, in my opinion. I purchased this at my local Walmart and it was more than twice the price than it is online. I have light colored, fine, straight hair. The scent is not strong at all and is really just a light natural coconut water smell that you would expect. I found I had to use more product than say the miracle (10); but this mist does not weigh down my hair and it really did make my hair feel so soft! I love that these ingredients are natural and non damaging plus lightweight, I will definitely repurchase online.BB
My scalp doesn't itch for once! My long, thick frizzy hair is soft and fully detangled with just a few sprays. Less than 6$ for 8.5 oz of this little all natural water based treatment is absolutely affordable, and I'd even say it's a steal. I'd recommend with for ethnic hair types, or tightly curled hair as well. For years, I was using Sauve Unscented, but it seems it was scented and my allergies and asthma hated that and I noticed my scalp was very itchy…. I tried a few other hairsprays and got the same perfume scent and itchiness. Took a chance on this hairspray. Most scent I get is a light alcohol smell that goes away instantly and does work as good as the others. Only thing I have to do is run hot water on the spray hole so it doesn't clog up.. which it did a couple times. But all in all, I will purchase this again.
Product works well. Hair is smooth, tangle free, and has added much needed moisture to my hair. YOUR BOTTLING STINKS. Price is already expensive. You should rethink how you got this thing package. The nozzles do not work and other people have also complained not just me. If you buy this product get your own spray bottle. Or unscrew the top and just trying to not drop all of the liquid through your fingers and use it directly onto your hair. The product will also make you cough. There is a strange smell that will make you gag if you accidentally breathe as your spray the product on your hair. My advice get your own bottle to spray on the products. Hold your breath when spraying the product. Then dry hair and style your hair … enjoy
It is very hard to find unscented products that work nicely on hair — especially if you HAVE to use them. My dermatologist had me switch to all unscented products due to skin rashes, eczema, etc, and I find it has helped to use these and Vanicream products. The styling gel is very nice, and works nearly as well as the high end (scented) product I used to get from my hair salon … I wish they made an unscented hair oil to tame flyaways.

I got this as a sample and so far I really like it. I have curly hair that needs a lot of moisture and this does not disappoint! It feels super thick when pumping it into my hands but it didnt weigh my hair down at all! My curls were looking great. I would even use just this and no other products on days when I didn't want to go through all the trouble. I will say though when I used this and then their gel afterwards it was like they cancelled each other out. I had dry stringy hair instead of soft curls.
I received these products for free from Influenster and Zotos in exchange for my honest review. I have never really used detangler for my mop. I just brush through the pain. I received this product and figured I’d give it a shot. You only need a tiny bit. My hair is pretty long and I used about a dime size. It smelled really good out of the bottle and when I applied it to my freshly washed hair, my brush glided right through with no yanking and no pain. A win win!Amy
I received this for free from influenster for an honest review. This is where it's at! It smells great and works great! My hair gets SO tangled because it's pretty thick and pretty wavy/curly but this worked so much better than any other detangler ever has. Sprays don't usually do much because it's such a fine mist so I loved that this was a cream. I have shoulder length hair and used only one pump so I can tell this bottle will last a good amount of time. I will absolutely recommend to others and repurchase for myself.Sarah B.
