This product is great for freshly permed hair that wont settle down with the frizzies. It softens your hair without having a very heavy oily feel to it. Its lightweight and you just spray it on your hair all over before you use your Hot curling iron . It protects against frizzies and really I cant emphasize this more softens your hair. I have baby fine hair and really dislike conditioners that you leave in. I often use detangler and found this to not only detangle but also condition hair as well. Nice scent, not feminine by any means. One downside is the sprayers on this product shoot more of a stream than a mist so I have to use another spray bottle to get a fine mist. That resulted in deducting a star. I have to say if your hair is oily, this is not the product for you as it does impart conditioning and someone with oily hair would likely find it over conditioned. I thought this was going to be a leave in conditioner spray like pretty much every other one on the market. I was wrong. To start off, this isn't a liquid.It's literally like what comes out of your conditioner bottle, which is to say that for some thing that's marketed and sold as a spray, it's really thick. Which leads me to my next point: it won't spray out of the provided nozzle. It kind of half mists, but if you're trying to apply it to you hair in a hurry/quickly, you better find something else because I spent five minutes trying to spray it on to just a quarter of my hair. I bought this product because the normal brand I use wasn't available at the store I was at at the time. However, upon this one attempted us, I'll be pitching this in the trash and making an extra trip to get the leave in conditioner spray that I normally use. Highly disappointed – I'd heard good things about Tresemme, but I won't be trying any of their other products after this.jt4123

I have always had problems with split ends on my hair due to all the heat styling tools I use. I need a trim about every two weeks. I love how this product smells and it leaves my hair feeling silky smooth. My hair is also thick and has a curl/wave to it. This also doesn't leave my scalp feeling oily. Love it in dry hair or wet. I bought this to prevent any brassiness from creeping in during a recently holiday. It’s a nice scent, not too strong, and provided nice texture. I don’t know if the purple truly worked, but my colour did stay well. Minus a star for the weird sticky feeling 24 hours later, added too much weight to my hair.J

This is the BESSSSSST detangling product I have ever used. I discovered this 6 months ago. This product was missing from Sally’s site for a few months & I thought it was discontinued. I had a heart attack & tried other brands to see if I could find a back up. I still cannot find another mist that works this good. I have straight, coarse, thick hair that is bleached. It gets tangled so easily and this stuff is like magic to get it out. I’ve had huge bird nest-like knots before & this got them out with no breakage. This was a very helpful product. Although I also paired this with SILK ELEMENTS. The Ion detangling mist smelled very good although to improve this product I would have to say try to some way improve the long lasting. It drys out very fast on my hair. This is still a good product, was very helpful for me I have naturally thick curly hair so I get tangles alot and sometimes they get pretty bad so this was very very helpful for me personally. This is my first time trying this. It leaves my hair really soft and silky. I have only used it a couple times so far so can't speak for longer or more frequent use. I did not have an issue with it making my hair oily or anything. As far as the scent, it's not great, but not bad either. Other products have a more pleasant scent, in my opinion. I have extremely thick, curly/wavy hair with a bad frizziness problem and my curls never wanting to look and be their natural, beautiful, individual selves. I have THE MOST tangled hair ever and I have spent tons of money on shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, leave-in conditioners, brushes, you name it…..In the end, the results were always the same. I ended up standing in my bathroom for I don't even know how long, fighting with my hairbrush, spraying multiple products onto my hair that I just spent ages washing, trying desperately to get the knots out of it or to just get the brush to go through it at all. Trying to brush my hair became the most difficult part of my routine, something that I dreaded. One day, I decided to go to a beauty supply store and ask for help. I told the lady who was working there about my predicament and she suggested a few products that I could try. I bought this Daily Dose miracle moisture leave-in conditioner. The next time I washed my hair, I found myself in a rush because I had somewhere to go early the next day and I needed to get to bed. This is the best hair detangling product I have used so far for frizzy hair. It is a high quality spray and it comes in a big bottle 355 ml size which fairly bigger than other products in its range. I purchased this at the recommendation of a stylist to hydrate my dry, chemically treated, naturally curly hair. It has a pleasant scent and heavy consistency. I found it seemed to coat my hair more than absorb into it. My hair did not seem more hydrated with use. However, it did look more shiny and feel thicker. This product offered heat protection from the flat iron but was too heavy on the hair to allow it to hold curl from a curling iron. I did have to use a clarifying shampoo to remove the residual product residue it seemed to leave after several uses as well. I think this would work well as a heavy leave in on natural hair or as an overnight hair mask. It does not work well for straightening and can make hair look greasy when used in even moderate amounts. I will not be purchasing this again but do recommend it for others with more coarse or thick hair textures who prefer wearing natural styles.leigh.l

Smells like cucumber and works well as a leave-in conditioner. I haven't noticed anything mystifying about this one in particular, but it seems to work well so I don't have any complaints. I purchased this Pantene product because I absolutely love all of Pantene's products and I was looking for a Detangler for both myself and my daughter. We both have longer curly/wavy hair that can be a real pain to try and brush after washing our hair or after waking up in the morning and trying to brush our hair. We both have been using this Detangler and not only does this product make brushing our hair easy it also is adding moisture to our hair and helping with frizz and normal breakage that occurs from brushing your hair regularly!brandy.b

Excellent daily leave-in for my kids, who need to fully wet their hair to style. My ONLY reason for docking a star is that with both containers we’ve had, when we get to the bottom 1/4 of the bottle, the spritz stops working and we have to take off the top and just pour into our hands, which isn’t how this product is meant to be applied, as it can cause gross product build ups. I’ll keep buying it because it’s not plastic and smells delish, but that feature is annoying.Christina

Probably the biggest reason I have to rank this product as a 1-star…the spray nozzle doesn't work for the weight of the formula. The sprayer works great for 1-2 spritzes. If you need more than 2 sprays, the pump will stop working and the products clumps up around the spray nozzle. In other words, it's a waste of money because you cannot get the product out. This is not a product friendly for kids either. The scent is pretty heavy/earthy- my kids do not like the scent. Let me start by saying I received this as my very first voxbox, thank you so much! I am a licensed hair stylist so my hair tools get up to 400 degrees so the protection it offered, fabulous! I used the today for the first time. The scent is very light, reminding me of a rose. Very tolerable for me, as I am so allergic to scents of products. My hair is shoulder length so I probably used about 10-12 sprays of product on damp hair. It delivered on the detangling aspect as I skipped using conditioner to test this out, 100% there! Blew dry my hair and noticed more shine, softness and volume instantly. A+ there! I usually wear my hair with a wave/soft curl….my hair wouldn’t hold a curl after using this product so I wore my hair straight for the day. It did look healthier than it normally does if I decide to wear my hair straight so that was nice, had more of a flow to it, more movement. I would have to say that this product was surely productive. It has my hair feeling soft and moisturized. Once I have this product in my hair I do not experience any frizz and it keeps my hair tamed throughout the day. It gives my hair the strength that it needs to avoid breakage. I used Nexxus heat protector for many years. My favorite hair care product. Suddenly, it was gone! This product is the replacement. I like it. It is not the original product, but, a good replacement. I’m an adult who uses this product for the purposes of detangling my hair on wash day. It’s AMAZING for that! It melts the tangles away so easily and makes detangling a breeze. I’m not crazy about the smell though, but since I’m only using it to detangle then washing it out it’s not so bad. I think this bottle would be a lot easier to use if it had a trigger spray instead of the fingertip sprayer. When my hands are slippery with product it’s hard to spray it with one hand. I just finished the bottle of the 5 in 1 wonder spray. I picked it up while randomly browsing hoping to find something that would work for my 2 yr old daughter's hair. She has curly 3b/c hair and she hates having her hair brushed. It gets so tangled after sleeping overnight and I've tried many detangler sprays but NOTHING works like this does. I wet her hair with a spray bottle, then spray the 5 in 1, then brush through it with minimal fussing. Sometimes I still catch a tough knot in her hair but a spray of this helps get through it easily. The spray smells amazing, even workers from her daycare have commented on how nice her hair smells. It also leaves her curls shiny and moisturized. I have not noticed any build up even using this daily, and I only wash her hair once or twice a week. This product works like a charm. My daughter’s hair has been very dry, tangled and frizzy. After using this spray it became soft, moisturized and shiny! I have used this product since I was 16 years old. I have fine and easily knotted hair. I am now much, much older. Your first container was slender and round, it had a woman and child on it. Your second container was white and had ridges on the upper portion of the bottle. That was fine. This current bottle is made for a a huge man hand and is hard for a smaller hand to put around it. Please change the container unless you think only big, burly men are the only ones using this product. If this was user-friendly, I think more would use the product. I’m obsessed with this detangling spray for my son! It smells great, it’s easy to use, and it works well! My son has longer, shaggy hair just like his father and this stuff is great for preventing tangles and helping his hair stay smooth, silky, and shiny. AND THE SMELL! I love how “clean” it makes my son’s hair smell. So good. I will say the plastic top on the bottle can break easily which essentially renders the whole entire bottle unusable (unless you’ve got another spray bottle on hand to pour it in) and that can be annoying if you accidentally drop it – but it’s not Johnson’s fault that I’m clumsy! I'm sorry for giving it a 1 star but it just isn't it for my type 2 hair(really wavy almost curly) and for my sister's type 1 hair(straight and medium thickness and density). After condition and shampooing my hair with their shampoo and conditioner following with this line. Then I sprayed the spray to my ears down and then let it air dry (did the exactly same steps to my sister's hair). And I remember this moment like it was yesterday, my hair felt gummy and waxy. I had a breakdown that day. (Keep in mind I'm pretty obsessed with hair) I was crying to my mom that I work so hard for my hair, brush my hair gently, deep condition, shampoo once a week and this what I get. My hair was sooo frizzy like might aswell use no product because its soooo horrible. Oh and dont let me get started with my sister's hair. So I did the same steps with hers and her looked wet when it was dry and it was sooo oily but the good thing and the ONLY positive thing about this product was the smell. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I have tried so many hair products and this is the worst product I have used in my hair and on my sister's hair. Please I'm begging you, do not waste your money. I have hair that’s been through crappy hair dye marathons, just got cut into the worlds saddest bob, is DULL and probably wishes it belonged to someone who does more than a hair clip in the back hoping homely comes into style soon. Nice product, does detangle my bleached hair. I have very tangly ends due to lightener damage and well water. The scent is not as strong as their other products but is still a strong chemical perfume scent. I use it with my olaplaex 7 & 6 so it does cut the smell a bit. Probably won't buy again. I bought this product because, unlike their competitor (whose products I also use), this is a detangler *and* primer in one. The competition sells the detangler and primer as too separate products, which is far too confusing. This product definitely doesn’t disappoint! I will pay for products that work, as my hair type demands extremely high quality products (wavy curly stressed out hair that has thinned significantly since I became a mom 12 years ago). I've used a hundred different leave-in conditioners and detanglers (Joico, Olaplex, Bumble & Bumble, Matrix) but this is AMAZING. I have colour-treated and very long, thick hair. It usually takes a forever to comb it out when wet, but not when I use this. Saved me at least 10 min. on my hair routine. My hair feels and smells great. I have very fine hair that is highlighted. After washing my hair with Boosta shampoo and conditioner, I spritz this on. Great results with volume and beachy waves that hold. Docked a star because the smell is a bit strong on the harsher side – almost like pickles! It doesn't seem to make my hair smell but it's a bit rough when it is sprayed.
