Not the best. It detangled my hair, but I hate how it left my curls looking, to the point where I rather finger detangle than use the brush. It’s also annoying how water get stuck inside of it. Over time I realized that the teeth on one side of the brush sank and inwards and became bent. I accidentally dropped it in the shower and it broke. I loved this brush. this is the first detangling brush that is easy on my scalp. I always had problems growing my hair because it's curly and until now. I believe this brush really helped stimulate my hair and made it grow really long. the only reason this brush gets a 4 star because i think there can be some improvements. I used this brush every time I get out of the shower and after 8 months of using it, it broke near the handle. I have a couple of these. One I use for my hair, it is naturally curly and colour treated. I find this gentle, but effective at removing knots and generally smoothing out my hair, without breakage. They now do one with a handle which I think would suit me better, although this one is quite comfortable to hold, I think a handle will make it more efficient, as my hair is quite long. The other one I have, I use on my cats bedding (I’ve labelled it to avoid mixing them up lol) she’s a hairy cat 🐱 and this works a dream on faux fur furniture and blankets – the vacuum cleaner is useless as her fur is so fine. #tangleteezerjj.a

I am using this brush in my daughter's hair which is long and wavy. It is amazing to painlessly get out the knots. This is the only place online I could get it in pink. I have tried the Popular mix in her hair but I could not detangle with that. I also tried the wide comb but it was time consuming and painful. So I first used this when my hair was blown out and straight (day 5 so very oily) and it detangled it EFFORTLESSLY. Maybe 2-3 strands of hair came out. Not the best. It detangled my hair, but I hate how it left my curls looking, to the point where I rather finger detangle than use the brush. It’s also annoying how water get stuck inside of it. Over time I realized that the teeth on one side of the brush sank and inwards and became bent. I accidentally dropped it in the shower and it broke. The brush feels cheap and since it’s almost $20 I will not repurchase this brush. The only good thing was that it felt amazing on the scalp.phillip.r

I am literally without words because I am eating mine after seeing an advertisement for this hair brush on FB. I thought, “yeah right. Let the hairbrush meet my kid.” She has Autism and Epilepsy. So brushing her hair has always been a long process because of the brushing and crying. She doesn’t like having her hair even cut unless I trim it. So it is long. EEG’s are horrible and tangled mess. I have long, fine, thick hair that is bleached blonde and damaged, so it tends to tangle easily. Compared to other brushes that end up ripping out hair this brush I see bare minimum hair in the brush if any at all. I have very fine hair and I don't like to use conditioner because it doesn't need any weight. I can end up with knotty wet hair depending on which shampoo I use how easy it is to detangle. Brushing can take quite a while sometimes. I have to segment my hair normally while brushing. This brush quickly detangles while my hair is wet and drying in front of a fan with minimal segmenting also with the help of my fingers detangling larger knotted areas and it feels amazing at how quick it does it. Also the design of the brush moulds to your head and the bristles aren't hard so it's a gentle caressing of the scalp that is pleasurable. Doesn't hurt. A soft experience. This is my favourite brush I've used in my life and I'm very glad I bought it. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a detangling brush! 🙂 I also adore that it is biodegrable and made from plant starch! 10/10
This surprisingly light brush is the best brush I have owned. I have very fine hair but masses of it and I have struggled to find a brush that doesn't rip the hair out of my head. This is a great brush that doesn't pull or stretch the hair. It is really nice on my scalp and doesn't hurt at all. Highly recommend for fine hair.

I have fine silky straight hair that doesn’t get overly tangled but I tried this product on myself and my messy haired 4 year old who is blessed with thick wavy hair. Neither of us were a fan. Whilst the brush did detangle my daughters hair, she like myself found it very scratchy and uncomfortable. The prongs are solid and have zero bend and they’re pretty sharp too. The positive I can say is that I’m currently shedding a lot of hair as I’m breastfeeding my youngest and I definitely noticed less hair dropping using this brush- I suspect because the prongs are spaced so far apart there is less friction. Anyway- overall it didn’t work for us but perhaps that’s due our hair types.Elinreb
I have shoulder length straight, medium hair and this brush is not a good product in my opinion. Very uncomfortable to use because the teeth are rigid and sharp and they scratch. I gave up with it and binned it because blow drying your hair shouldn't be torture! I'll stick to drying my hair with a normal brush and finishing it off with my straighteners. I used to have an eco tools hair brush with a similar design which was amazing for drying my thick long hair. Unfortunately after years of use the bristles had worn away slightly and I was looking for a replacement, and like all good things of course it had to come to an end and eco tools decided to stop making them or at least I could not find them anywhere in stores or online. So I searched for a brush that was most like it, and for a couple of years there was absolutely nothing similar then tangle teezer came out with this and I was so excited. On my first use I knew straight away that it was a failure. The brush itself including the bristles is rock hard, so much so that it scratches your scalp to pieces, and that's in between your hair getting caught in the bristles and being ripped out. I don't have a sensitive head in any way, so I gave it a couple of chances but there was no way that it was bearable. It visibly scratches the scalp and it can not be healthy to pull the hair out, so the product itself should be looked into. Even if it's a faulty one, tangle teezer should not be allowed to let faulty brushes sold to the public as I've seen other reviews from people who have had similar experiences. so be warnedStar

Love this! I tried it first and worked well, my son has very curly hair that gets super tangled. I do like this brush. I love the look of all tangle teezers, adorable. As for performance..I have long, straight fine but dense hair, tons of it. I find this brush feels nice and all but it helps if hair is already detangled first. I use it on dry hair which is fine but it can cause some breakage on ends as I’ve seen in sink when I brush. I did get the fragile one to try as it’s supposed to be more gentle. I would say this brush is worth a try for sure overall to the cushion ball tip ones we all have been using forever. Anyway! I have long, thick, naturally wavy hair that I've had issues with tangling/breakage since having highlights put in. I will say that claims of reducing breakage are probably true, but that's only because the brush does absolutely nothing against tangles. The bristles are not strong enough or long enough to have any effect on thick hair, I may as well have been running a bristle-less brush over my hair. I can't speak for those with thin to medium thickness, but if you have thick hair, I wouldn't waste your money.Jamie

Wow- this brush is LUSH. I love it. The paddle brush is so nice and great for my long hair. I feel like it detangles well. I ordered this in large part because of the color, but instead of receiving the ice blue as pictured the one I got was purple. Nothing wrong with purple, but it wasn't what I ordered and feels dishonest. Also, one of the bristles was already missing when it arrived. I tried to go on the CVS website to view the order again and check the color listed, but it kept crashing and wouldn't even let me see the order after fifteen minutes of trying on both the app and the website proper. I ended up having to use ebates just to write this review because the CVS website and app are so glitchy. I have a biracial daughter, African American and Caucasian, who has soft hair yet it is unbelievably curly. Her hair didn't tangle but instead would get matted in certain areas. I used this new brush for the first time on dry hair and I was absolutely shocked. The brush wasn't hurting my head AT ALL and it was getting all the knots out. I'm very picky about brushes because my scalp is very sensitive to pain. The brush is flexible enough to not rip at my hair. I generally don't let my hair get too terribly tangled so I'm not sure how it would perform against very tangled hair, but for every day use I love this brush so much I got a second one.
