I have carried this cake server so many places only to find it brought by others. I've had to label mine so as to bring the correct one home. It is perfect in size as not to allow the cake to slide and ruin. I've had it for several years and it still looks like new. I did break the handle, but Sterilite replaced it free of charge. I had a cake taker from a popular company that ended up having a funny smell so I tossed it and bought this one from Walmart at a VERY budget friendly price. My thinking was since it didn't cost very much I could use it for a short period and buy another if I needed to. Well all I can say is that I was totally surprised to see how well this one holds up. It's lightweight, easy to close (unlike my previous one) and it does not have a strange smell. I really love it! I doubt that I will ever have to replace it but if I do I will be buying the same one!

We have two of these, which seemed perfect for our french-door refrigerator with a deli drawer. The latch on one broke within a couple of months. The latch on the other one broke a bit later. Since there is a gasket seal on the lid, you can press them down tight to close, but it still annoys me that the latches broke so easily. I really love this product. I originally bought it for my husband to use for his lunch, I wasn't sure how secure the lid was and if my kids would have trouble getting it open at school lunch. I recently purchased various sizes of the rectangular shaped UltraSeal containers and am happy with each of them. I like the look of the containers, the touches of color, the ability to see what's inside of the containers and the ease of opening and closing the containers. Easy to stack in the refrigerator. Overall, not bad. Would have liked it better if it had 2 hdmi ports instead of 2 display ports. Docking via USB C is great, however where the docking station's USB C cable plugs into the USB C port on the laptop is not supported properly. We've had several of them break already. The USB C needs a small bump or something on the end to support the weight of the cable and connector. The USB C male end isn't sufficient for holding that weight. My new one is already slanted at an angle. USB ports on the front would have been better served by having them face up for easy access. I have to move my laptop if I wanted to use them.Lionel
We've used Dell USB Docks for some time. One advantage is that they are quick and easy. The disadvantage is they are clumsy to configure on desks. We've never had an install that we were satisfied with. Power is on the front instead of the back, which usually, but not always is a problem. it seems a better location would be on the back at the end. if they put the power on the back, they might as well add the Network port on that side too, it just makes sense. The cable to connect to the PC is on the end, which actually works in most situations. The usable ports on the "front" are fine, but they might consider moving the two ports that are currently on the back, to the end. It would be nice if they had mounting on the bottom so the unit could be mounted under desks near the wire hole. We've had to extend the USB C cable, which causes some issues when the users accidentally unplug it. Having a way to use different length USB C cables, that were securely attached, would be nice.Dave W.
Great product – poor in documentation. Two issues of note: 1. The docking stations' data transfer cable plugs into the same port as the computer's power supply. Nothing in the documentation indicated that the computer would now draw its power directly from the docking station. 2. The monitor loses a couple of features when plugged into the docking station. The shutdown and startup is connected to the docking station. When plugged in directly to the computer the monitors shut down and startup with the computer. Now it's another step in the process. I ended up purchasing this product because it had decent reviews online and based on some YouTube reviews of the QNAP product overall. Although this is my first NAS, I'm not new to IT. I've developed a ton of software, built my own computers, etc. I was hoping that thing would just kind of work for what I needed it for – as an extra storage unit for my home network because our media library has grown a bit enormous. Alas, this has been nothing but a headache since I purchased it last year. From the initial setup and configuration to the major security problems, to their cloud access solution, to their virtual switches, etc. Everything I try to use with this software seems to have bugs of some sort. This is the worst hardware/software purchase I've made in the past two decades and it's not close. I've contacted their technical support team twice. Once I was connected with a technical representative who had to do some research on the problem I was having for about a week before he informed me that what I was trying to do wasn't possible because they use a unique version of Linux for their OS. Another time I called and someone from India answered the technical support line to tell me he couldn't really help me with any technical problems. I can't really understate the security issues that have been going on either. This past year, it's one security notification after another including what appears to be a major security concern associated with the web access for their myQNAPCloud service. I feel like having that access configured is basically creating a big hole in my own home network inviting ransomware in. And the pace of 'security alerts' that they've been sending out lately doesn't make me feel any better. I mean – it's great that they are looking for, finding, and fixing security problems. But it does seem like I get one security alert a week from QNAP saying that found another vulnerability. I could go on and on about how much of a pain in the side this machine has been for me but I'll just wrap up by saying this if you want something that just works don't even consider QNAP – just go with the Synology.Anonymous
My biggest issue with this product is that the product pushes 200+ MB/sec transfer rates. Sadly, I missed the fact that I had to purchase an optional 2.5/5gb USB dongle for the NAS. I thought it was getting 2gb over LACP/LAG paired 1gb connections. Dont get me wrong, the built in interfaces work fine at 1gb, but when you buy the additional QNA-UC5G1T for the NAS, as well as a 2.5gb/10gb QNAP switch, AND another QNA-UC5G1T for my PC…. all I get is my QNAP locking up the QNA-UC5G1T network adapter in the middle of file transactions. The only way to recover is to reboot the NAS. The adapter will suddenly go from working to just a rythmic on/off flashing state and no longer will respond to ICMP/ping. If you set the internal ports on the NAS to another address for fail over management, you can log into the NAS and see that the QNA-UC5G1Tadapter has gone disconnected. You can unplug, and replug but the only way to get it to work again is reboot the NAS. I have a support ticket with QNAP open for over EIGHT weeks now and they want me to RMA both the NAS and the adapter. I am confident this is an adapter only problem, but what am I do to? I am an enterprise QNAP customer as well with a QNAP device with over 32TB presented to vShpere hosts with dual linked 10gb iSCSI and it has been rock solid for years. I guess you really get what you pay for, I wanted a small economical NAS for home that I can also remote replicate to my QNAP in the data center, and all I got was a FARSE with NO support. If QNAP cannot address my issues with their product failure, I will be forced to sell this to someone else where 115MB/sec single gig is fast enough and move vendors to Synology. I was lured by features and hardware specs that were priced below Synology’s equipment. But now I regret this purchase after experiencing the QNAP interface. Even my 2012 Synology DS712+ has better and way more responsive interface. It’s a stark difference. Also, I will not dare expose my QNAP NAS to the internet since their devices have been targeted multiple times by ransomeware. Apparently QNAP does not take security seriously.W.S.

I was looking for a docking station that provided power – as a docking station should IMO. I also want to run multiple monitors (3). This docking station was recommended as compatible to my specific computer. I receive it and…. there is power. However, please note: there are TWO power input cords. For my specific laptop, there is only ONE recepticle. SO… I am told "just dont plug the other one in." FYI.. the adapters I have tried, none provide power. Well, I am having nothing but trouble with the docking station. My monitor goes on and off, even as I type this. My camera is often not picked up and I have to re-plug in. My icons are not appearing at the bottom. Nope, not impressed. I am told this docking station is for a more powerful machine. Well, then, wouldnt it manage what I am running through it!!????!
I have been using a laptop for work for the past year. I am now able to connect my work laptop to the monitors at home using this Dell performance dock. I really like that this docking station also works as a charger. I am not tech savi but I was able to easily connect the laptop, monitors and printer to the docking station. I will also be taking a virtual class next month an this setup will be extremely convenient. This has been a great time saver for my home office. Just connect my laptop to the docking station and start working, no need to reconfigure or disconnect anything but my laptop. It has plenty of ports that are high speed connection all my devises. I have been looking for a docking station since i have been switch over to WFH setup. I have a dell laptop which has USB-C charging and i wanted to buy the docking station which offers USB-C charging and dock with the same plug. Dell WD19DCS has amazing features. I ended up purchasing this product because it had decent reviews online and based on some YouTube reviews of the QNAP product overall. Although this is my first NAS, I'm not new to IT. I've developed a ton of software, built my own computers, etc. I was hoping that thing would just kind of work for what I needed it for – as an extra storage unit for my home network because our media library has grown a bit enormous. Alas, this has been nothing but a headache since I purchased it last year. From the initial setup and configuration to the major security problems, to their cloud access solution, to their virtual switches, etc. Everything I try to use with this software seems to have bugs of some sort. This is the worst hardware/software purchase I've made in the past two decades and it's not close. I've contacted their technical support team twice. Once I was connected with a technical representative who had to do some research on the problem I was having for about a week before he informed me that what I was trying to do wasn't possible because they use a unique version of Linux for their OS. Another time I called and someone from India answered the technical support line to tell me he couldn't really help me with any technical problems. I can't really understate the security issues that have been going on either. This past year, it's one security notification after another including what appears to be a major security concern associated with the web access for their myQNAPCloud service. I feel like having that access configured is basically creating a big hole in my own home network inviting ransomware in. And the pace of 'security alerts' that they've been sending out lately doesn't make me feel any better. I mean – it's great that they are looking for, finding, and fixing security problems. But it does seem like I get one security alert a week from QNAP saying that found another vulnerability. I could go on and on about how much of a pain in the side this machine has been for me but I'll just wrap up by saying this if you want something that just works don't even consider QNAP – just go with the Synology.Anonymous
My biggest issue with this product is that the product pushes 200+ MB/sec transfer rates. Sadly, I missed the fact that I had to purchase an optional 2.5/5gb USB dongle for the NAS. I thought it was getting 2gb over LACP/LAG paired 1gb connections. Dont get me wrong, the built in interfaces work fine at 1gb, but when you buy the additional QNA-UC5G1T for the NAS, as well as a 2.5gb/10gb QNAP switch, AND another QNA-UC5G1T for my PC…. all I get is my QNAP locking up the QNA-UC5G1T network adapter in the middle of file transactions. The only way to recover is to reboot the NAS. The adapter will suddenly go from working to just a rythmic on/off flashing state and no longer will respond to ICMP/ping. If you set the internal ports on the NAS to another address for fail over management, you can log into the NAS and see that the QNA-UC5G1Tadapter has gone disconnected. You can unplug, and replug but the only way to get it to work again is reboot the NAS. I have a support ticket with QNAP open for over EIGHT weeks now and they want me to RMA both the NAS and the adapter. I am confident this is an adapter only problem, but what am I do to? I am an enterprise QNAP customer as well with a QNAP device with over 32TB presented to vShpere hosts with dual linked 10gb iSCSI and it has been rock solid for years. I guess you really get what you pay for, I wanted a small economical NAS for home that I can also remote replicate to my QNAP in the data center, and all I got was a FARSE with NO support. If QNAP cannot address my issues with their product failure, I will be forced to sell this to someone else where 115MB/sec single gig is fast enough and move vendors to Synology. I was lured by features and hardware specs that were priced below Synology’s equipment. But now I regret this purchase after experiencing the QNAP interface. Even my 2012 Synology DS712+ has better and way more responsive interface. It’s a stark difference. Also, I will not dare expose my QNAP NAS to the internet since their devices have been targeted multiple times by ransomeware. Apparently QNAP does not take security seriously.W.S.

AS I said before my ex4 was upgraded to only work on the local network. Red light on and drive degraded. Ordered a replacement drive and went to install after recreating logins (a pain) and found that drive OK and EX4 rebuilding. You owe we me a harddrive which I have now as a spare. NO WHERE DOES THE UPGRADE SAY IT WILL CAUSE ALL THESE PROBLEMS. LOGINS MUST BE RECREATED. RED LIGHT ON DRIVE 1 COMES ON AND SYSTEM DEGRADED, Overall a bad update causing lots of trouble and yes I rebooted a couple of times and red light on drive 1 was on after about 3 minutes NOTE I AM RAGING ON THE EX4 UNIT AND NOT ON THE PR4100. THE GOOD THING IS ACRONIS FOR WD WORKS GREAT NO WAY I COULD FIND EX4 TO COMPLAIN ABOUTWILDWILLIE
Implemented this NAS last March 30 in our home office. All good until it failed with 'Power Supply Failure' three times late September. Wd wanted to replace with 'reconditioned' one, I insisted on a new one. Replacement arrived 2 weeks later obviously used. Meantime I discovered mine works if I don't use my surge protector. And a caution:. This device is discontinued and no longer supported. Tech support could not figure out the problem. I returned the replacement and kept mine. I have mine loaded with 22tb of data and system backups, and I'm a bit nervous.skeleton
I am a 73 year-old retired Marine. I wanted all my files, pictures, music and programs backed up if one of our computers failed. I had my IT employed son on stand by to help me with the installation of my My-Cloud Expert SeriesEX4100. I unboxed the unit, looked through the quick start information and decided that I couldn't mess it up more than he could fix. In less than an hour, I had it attached to my home network and purring like a kitten. I proceeded to each of my home computers and selected the frequency and files to back up. I then set up each of our kids and grandkids with permissions as to what they could view and/or contribute to. Incredibly easy to set up. I went with a 40TB unit so I could have a RAID system to protect against one drive failing. This unit replaced a ten year-old MyCloud 4 TB that reached end of life. I waited for this unit to become available and I'm very glad I did. This was an excellent upgrade from a dead TS-453mini. Much faster at doing everything. I put 16-GB of RAM from Team Group 2x8GB-3200 DDR4-SODimm in it and it flies. My 453mini died shortly after I had updated to 5.0.0 (1911). I simply moved over the drives from the dead unit (in the correct order), turned on this unit and it started right up, recognized everything and just worked. I simply had to do a file system check and then the firmware update and all is perfect. QNAP definitely hit a home run with this unit.Matthew

I bought two sets. in both cases the sizes that are shown on the outside of the box are not included in the box. For example there are no tall cereal size containers. When I called BJs looking for help the customer service person said "yeah that happens sometimes". It is not a mistake. It is just deceptive marketing. Very disappointed in BJs. I would rather spend more and get what is advertised.Anne

Ok. I am DONE ordering anything even remotely fragile from Walmart. These arrived today and as soon as I moved the box I heard broken glass. Upon opening one was in a million pieces. It was packed so poorly with only some balled up brown paper, how could anyone think it would NOT break?! So beyond frustrating as this isn't the first time this has happened and now I have to go to the store to return, which defeats the purpose of ordering in the first place! These Anchor Hocking jars work great for what I need. I wanted two large jars with loose fitting lids and these were perfect. I use one for sourdough starter while I use the other for flour that I feed the starter with. The large mouth tops allows me to use a large scoop for whatever I have in them. They would also make great cookie jars.Darin
