We got this dust mop for our floors and getting under low furniture. The mop comes detached from the handle, the handle clicks on easy. The handle stays clicked in too. It is easy to do quick a sweep of the floor now. One thing to note and I think it's a good thing, the mop looks a bit more than 12 inches. the flip my is my favorite mop to wash my floors. Easy to use, remove and wash three or four times each time i use it, but I never use the drop mop side because i prefer to use a broom and a cotton dust mop. I believe cotton picks up dirt better. I don't like having to wash the heavier dust mop side at the same time. I'd prefer a mop with a two sided wash head. I love the flip mop design!! And it stores flat in a corner, but I've had to add a little wire in the loop on the handle so I can hang it flat behind a door also.judy
Let me start out with saying unlike these other paid "spark" reviews, mine is not paid for. I received nothing to make this review. Now my credentials, I am a small business owner. We are formally known as a "Building Maintenance Contractor." We clean offices, restaurants, banks and some medical facilities. I saw this mop at my local Walmart last night and saw the price tag, it was very affordable for just about anybody, coming in at a little lower than $12.00 before taxes with replacement heads approximately $7.00. I took it for a test run and immediately found out why it is so affordable. The sweeping dry mop is a good residential solution, it picked up every micro particle you could imagine. It was very difficult to get corners, under floor trim, against sides of walls and under appliances though. We ended up finishing the sweeping with a regular broom. The real issue is with the application of the liquid for the damp mop. They first of all recommend using water only, no disinfectant, which is NOT a sanitary solution. Secondly, after your first mop application the dry mop is now rendered absolutely useless as the fabic acts as a sponge and gets the dry mop wet. Thirdly, this mop is very hard to move over linoleum. The damp mop portion should "glide" whilst instead "sticks" to the surface. Overall, our solution remains with Rubbermaid QuickConnect and has for many years for wet mopping and any dry mopping is done with any janitorial green dry mop.MikeP
Two thirds of our home is Laid with hardwood floors and the rest is tile. I love our floors but unlike carpet it does not hiding any dirt! In fact every piece of lint, hair or whatever shows! But, when it’s clean you know your floors are clean! I love this mop, it’s part of what keeps my floors clean! It works well for what it was designed for. It is one of the tools used in the regular regiment of my cleaning. All floors are dust mopped, vacuumed then steam mopped. But, my steam mop doesn’t fit under my beds so I use a clean pad that I put into my sink where I have warm water mixed with a little cleaner, then gently wring it out and place it on the mop head and mop under the beds until I have the clean I want. The materials the mop pad itself is made from is plush and seems to be of good quality. it has held up pretty well. The only real issues that keeps me from giving this little fiber mop the 5 stars that it should deserve are two things. The mops head ‘closures’ that are supposed to hold the pad tightly on the mop head are made out of lesser than good quality material!! They wore out after about 25-30 machine washings. And, I have the Sensor LG Front loader Set so there were no agitators that caused the problem. The closures completely quit working on both pads! The other issue I have is the rudeness of the replies by OCedars Customer towards people who were just trying to get a simple question answered! There’s a question an answer section so why should we have to call in? I ask a question then read all the questions and answers or lack of! The same simple question was asked multiple times but was never answered! One person ask how wide it was (either referring to the mop head or pad) they got answered correctly or close enough it would be easy to figure out. But, when others ask how long it was instead of giving the (mop head or pad length) they were given the pole length. That same answer was repeated! I’m sorry but we don’t care about the pole length. Since you make more than one size mop, when we are buying these mops we need to know the mop head or replacement pad size so we can buy extra pads! I got this couple weeks ago and this is exactly what i was looking for so long. I have a 3000 sqft house with tiles is really hard to vacuum or mop this big of an area. It use too take a lot of time and energy to mop. But with this is done in 15 mins. The threads on the mop head are big thick and it traps the dust and other bigger particles. The maneuverability is little harder because of the handle construction and the place where it connects the mop head. I wish it was easier to turn it as if lifted the dust gets on the floor and is no longer trapped in the mop head. But all in all great product. Highly recommended. Alright, so I bought this mop with bucket because it looked like the O-Cedar mop that is all over social media, I was excited because this one is inexpensive. When I first used this mop/bucket I was a bit disappointed because it does not have the foot pedal like O-Cedar bucket. Until today, I went online to find a new mop and I recognized this Clorox one I bought I clicked to see if there was something I did not recognize and BOOM. I did not read instructions that you have to release the clip and pull the stick up and push down in order to allow the drain section to spin on the bucket. I was a little confused at first because it didn't come with instructions. I always read instructions to make sure I'm doing things right. I like and dislike this item. The quality can be much better for money you pay for it or you can add some money and get a good quality steam mop. This mop system feels a little cheap. The mop leaves my floors so wet and it takes about 20 minutes to let them dry with is not good if you have a some tipe of hardwood floor. It's pretty hard to change pads and mop is to small if I compare it with my old one. The mop makes some squeaky plastic sounds while you mop wich is a little annoying. I usually read reviews before buying things, but I was in Canadian Tire and simply grabbed this, thinking RubberMaid does at least some basic QA of products. I was wrong. As many other reviews mention, the engineering and/or parts in this product are faulty. The spray mechanism broke after the 2nd use, and started leaking. After a while it was simply POURING out so I could not use it. As the spray is built into the mop, you cannot manually remove and spray the bottle either. The item is simply plastic waste, and a lot of it. I was hoping to use it for years. This item has not been removed or from Canadian Tire after a bunch of obviously bad reviews.Red Ranger
Over the last 4 years, I’ve have owned and used 3 Reveal Spray Mops. There are many reasons to love this mop. It is easy to use and light weight. The soft cloth microfiber pad is reusable, washable and does not leave streaks on laminate floors. The refill bottle is convenient to use with your own cleaning solutions, 2-3 tblsp. of a gentle cleaner (no ammonia) with water. With some design modifications, this spray mop would be super great (!). Yes, I would buy a fourth one if available, and be willing to pay more for improvements to the basic design. Problems I’ve encountered: the trigger mechanism in the handle stopped working on 2 of the mops. The warranty replaced these mops. One of the bottles wouldn’t disperse solutions and now a leaking bottle issue has begun on my 3rd mop leaving puddles on the floor. I’ve tried a popular competitor product and find it wanting. Their throw-away mopping pads leave streaks and I had to use 2 pads each time. Their priority solution/bottle doesn’t allow using your own cleaning solution and I think their cleaner is too harsh on my laminate flooring. And you have to use 4 batteries to squirt the solution on the floor. Because of these 3 points, it’s going to be more expensive to continue using. My conclusion, if Rubbermaid were to rethink their Reveal Spray Mop design a little bit, they would have a BIG winner. After maybe 25 uses, I discovered that the handle of the mop was slowly coming apart. I dismantled the handle, found out what the problem was (cracked plastic dowel) and fixed it with plastic glue and screws. Yesterday the handle broke again and this time I had to fix it with a wooden dowel, plastic glue and screws. My tendency in life is to fix things without having to throw away in the garbage all the time. The mop works fine now but why do you sell such cheaply made product? Rubbermaid could make it much more solid (use metal parts for assembling not plastic) and garantee it for 5 years at least and people would be happy to pay $10 more for a product that would be solid and reliable. Aside from the weakness of the handle at the joint, all other features of that mop work well.Raymond

My cleaning girl used this mop yesterday, for the first time. I had it two weeks ago, but the handle, though steel, is put together with a little male and female plastic piece. The piece fell out the first time she put it together. After she left, I tried putting it together and thought it was okay. However, she almost got through cleaning my wood laminate floor with it yesterday, when the pieces fell out again. She was so disappointed because the mop was doing a fine job of cleaning the floor. This dust mop is not accurate in its description. They say nothing about that pad being on the bottom. From the looks it looks like its all strands. First of all, there are only about 2-3 rows of the strands around the outside 1" of the mop head. Tha'ts it….that's all. Just 1"!!! The rest is like a short pile oval that fills in the rest of the bottom area where there SHOULD be the microfiber strands. I have a German Shepherd that sheds like crazy all year long. This thing won't even pick up or grab the hair on the floor. I CAN say that is it very light weight. Probably because there are NO STRANDS! Don't waste your money on this item.noie831

I really like the bona floor mops. I love how they are so quick and easy. If you need a new clean pad, you go ahead and stick one on. If you need to wash it, you go ahead and rip the pad off of the bottom when you’re done using it, and then you can throw it in the wash! Super simple don’t ya think? We have used other floor mops for laminate flooring and the main problem has been the nozzle. Either it would get stuck after several uses or the spray mist was not misty enough. The assembly of the mop was not as straight forward as it seemed. I took me me at least 10 minutes to get it the poles to aligned properly. We just finished using the Bona floor mop and we were happy to report the spray mechanism seems pretty smooth and the spray is fairly misty with adequate quantity of cleaning solution. The mop seems very sturdy. However, the design is poor. The handle and the plastic trunk has very sharp edges and slippery and it is very uncomfortable to mop even one room of the house. The shape of the handle is also not ergonomic. We found that wearing kitchen gloves makes mopping slightly more comfortable. The swivel mechanism produces lots of squeaking noises. I found it annoying but my wife thought it was barely acceptable. The pad is good and the solution is good.Nightstar33

This is a good mop I have tried so far. The cleaning surface on mop is approx 15inch length & 8.5 inch wide. The handle is well made plastic & can be kept straight on floor with a place behind mop surface to snap it on for storing or can be kept upright in a corner space. It is a breeze to clean a larger area with this mop as the surface head is big & the handle moves very smoothly. I have used it couple of times in a week & I like it. The mop cloth is made of microfiber & I have used it on damp floor with water & all purpose cleaner as well. Firstly, my floor is not very dirty or sticky by any means so using this cleaned my floor very well & I could also see all the hair stick to it when i finished cleaning too. I washed the mop & it still stands in good shape. Only thing to be careful while using water for cleaning is as it is microfiber the water is not fully absorbed & I used fan for fast drying of the floor. I read online that the refill mops are available, I haven’t needed it yet. Looks like the mop can be used for longer time as it holds up good after washing. I used on my vinyl floor, hardwood area & tile area. Everything cleaned excellent. Unfortunately the minuses outnumber the pluses on the O'Cedar Microfiber Hardwood Floor 'N More all surface mop. The pluses include that fact that it is very lightweight, easy to store, came already assembled, when used as a dry mop it is easily pushed around the floor and picks up dust and hairs and when used as a damp mop it seemed to collect the surface dirt on the pad (or at least the pad turned from white to grey – See picture). The minuses are as follows: Dry Mop 1. Pushes bigger pieces of debris around the floor instead of picking them up. After using the dry mop, I would still have to vacuum the floor to pick up the bigger pieces. See picture. 2. Can not go into the many small places and corners in my kitchen. 3. Could not apply enough pressure on the edges of the pad to clean the edges of the floor around the baseboards. Damp mop 1. Once you wet the mop, it takes a lot of strength to push it over the floor. 2. Although the damp mop did pick up some of the bigger pieces of dirt that the dry mop left behind, it did not pick up everything. 3. There were some gooey spots and water mark spots that the damp mop did not remove. In conclusion, I liked the damp mop better than the dry mop. I will vacuum my floor first and just use the damp mop as a floor cleaner even though it did not loosen dried on dirt like it advertised. I will still need to use my scrubber sponge to remove the gooey stuff.Susan
I acquired this mop through the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program, and I am happy I did. I am using it on my laminate flooring, and it cleans great, wet or dry. It boasts a large cleaning surface…which I measured as approximately 9"x16". The microfiber offers an effective, but easy to clean, fleece mop head, which can easily be removed for cleaning. An important concern for me is that water does not "puddle" on my laminate flooring, and I can easily wring the mop head, to avoid "overwetting" my floor. and I can minimize using cleaners, since they tend to leave a film on laminate. The "wicking" ability will make my cleaning a lot easier. I think many of the same principles apply to hardwood floors, too. The removable mop head is also machine washable, but with the warming weather in my area, I prefer to rinse it, then hang it outside. This mop, with its' generous cleaning surface, really does make cleaning easier! The cleanable, reusable mop head is made very sturdily, but I think I want to order a spare, because it is well under 10 dollars, and I want backup, since I want to use the mop for many years ahead. And how cool that it cleans its own roller when you put it back on its base. I also get more time from mine been a lot here have said the average is around 22 minutes. I get close to 35 minutes. this says that this is the item that I purchased, but what I received was one that was briefly released before it was labeled the new model. I get longer battery life. also if you register your product and provide your email address. They mail you a free roller. Which is very handy to have one drying while the other is in use. The price is great, I don't think you will regret your purchase. and just an FYI for those of you who are complaining about how the cleaning machine leaks. I just about bet you're not using the proper cleaning solution. I tried using something with a friend and it foamed up and leaked all over. Now I only use a floor cleaning solution. The Tineco iFloor 2 is an awesome cleaner! Unboxing the iFloor 2 was very easy, and it was packed quite well. It arrived with a partial charge and lasted about 10 minutes before I had to charge it. It's worth mentioning that the device didn't lose suction or roller strength at all during this period, and the device just turned off once there wasn't enough charge remaining. So, you can expect full power up until the battery requires a charge. Once fully charged, I was able to clean the entire house with the iFloor 2, and ran for a full 45 minutes. The power indicator was still solid, indicating there was no need to charge yet. It wouldn't surprise me if a full charge could last for a full hour in some instances! We have tile floors in our kitchen and one bathroom, and hardwood floors throughout the house, and linoleum in another bathroom. The iFloor 2 worked beautifully on our tile and hardwood, removing a ton of dirt, hair, and stains that were left behind after using a steaming mop just a few days ago (see picture for gross dirt water!). Regarding the stains in particular, we have tried many scrubbing techniquest through the years but we were never able to remove them from our tile. The iFloor 2 lightened or removed all the stains on our tile! I suspect repeated uses of the device will remove the stains entirely (here's hoping!). For the hardwood, we've never taken the time to mop and instead just vacuum. The iFloor 2 made short work of the dirt on the hardwood, and even removed a layer of dirty film we didn't even know was present. Our hardwood floors have never looked so good! The bathroom linoleum cleaned up easily too with the iFloor 2, and just "feels" cleaner when walking on it than after using a regular mop. Cleaning the iFloor 2 once the job is complete is really easy too. It has a self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the hard work for you by cleaning and rinsing the roller brush. The resulting water is then collected in the dirty water bin for easy emptying. The only concern I have with the device is the charging port. It uses a standard barrel-type plug-in adapter, and it feels a bit loose in the port on the device. It works perfectly for the time being, but I just wonder how it'll hold up over time after repeated connect and disconnect cycles.Angela40
I have very mixed feelings about this machine. Ultimately I think if you’re looking for something quick and easy to clean up small messes, lightly dust, etc. this would work just fine. The suction is decent, and where it did clean, only with both mop and vacuum, it got some little unnoticed spills up and didn’t streak. The machine is quiet, maneuvers and works efficiently, and really feels nice to use. My two main let-downs with this is that it doesn’t seem to be very pet-hair friendly (despite what Tineco claims), and the machine doesn’t get close enough to baseboards/edges. I wanted to see how well the vacuum part worked without adding water/mopping. Not only was it aggravating that the machine seemed to blow air out and thus dog hair away, I couldn’t go more than a couple of passes before the machine would get clogged; I have a short haired dog and my floors weren’t that bad. It did work a bit better when I started using the water though. Next, I’ll have to go around with perimeter of half my house with my normal broom and mop because the gap of untouched floor is THAT noticeable. the closest you can get to a baseboard is roughly 1/2” on one side, and probably a good 1 1/2” on the other. This so called mop can not be wrung out of excess mop water. If I had known this I never would have bought it. The only thing it might be ok to mop is a smooth ceiling or smooth walls but certainly not floors. It is too long and does not fold for storage and is a trip hazzard!Brook
