My biggest issue with this bike is that you can't return it to Walmart. You have to disassemble and repackage it (!) then ship it to Plumstruck, so order carefully. My second problem was that it's just too short for my height, 5'9", and leg length, 34" inseam. It was very uncomfortable to pedal even with the seat at full height. Otherwise, this bike works well and was fairly easy to assemble. The instructions were excellent, but there is quite a bit of assembly. I liked the adjustable tension feature. It has no resistance without the tension belt adjustment. It's also a great compact size and weight to be able to move easily. With the great price, I'm really sorry it didn't work for me. Now I'm even sorrier that I didn't buy it somewhere else with a simpler return arrangement.JanK
The directions where confusing and misleading the washers for the arms where not instructed correctly became frustrating, also the bike came with a defective bearing and it wore out in about 20 hours of use and now makes annoying noises. I guess you either get lucky or you don't with these cheap products, pick wisely. I'm very disappointed how does such a thing happen to me and not others unless the parts are not tested then slapped on there for failure, I don't know you get the idea.Michael
I am on a weight-loss journey and miss my 1990's AirDyne fly-wheel exercise bike. This one comes close to what I was used to back in the day. It's simple; no extra bells and whistles. Was easy to put together and doesn't take up alot of space in my home office where it's parked. The read-out of kind of small, but it gives times, distance and calories burned as well as how fast you're going. So, that's everything you need! Resistance belt is easily adjusted. It's very sturdy. The only thing I do not like about it is the middle section that you have to step over to get on the thing. It's very high for a shorter person to get over.tmtalbot

I read all the reviews, watched all the comparison videos and finally selected the Bowflex C6 as my indoor exercise option. Price point and freedom of choice of apps were the primary points in my selection. The bike is very quiet, has been quite sturdy and I've enjoyed using it. I struggled a LOT with the JRNY app initially, running on a PIxel Slate (a ChromeOS device that runs Android apps) and that was pretty much a disaster. It crashed frequently and many options just didn't work. But then, I tried a real Android tablet and the app works great. I actually enjoy it. I tried a couple others and will do more, but the JRNY app is good if you have a device it runs on. So far I haven't had any problems with pedals coming loose as some have. I do find the water bottle placement is unfortunate as I either hit it during hard rides or feel like I will – neither of which are good. So, I generally leave my water bottle on a nearby table that I an reach. Small gripe, but also easy to fix if the company wanted to. Easy to put together, although the instructions were a little to terse – I spent a while looking for the needed bolts in one step before realizing they were already screwed into their spots in the bike (to be removed before reattaching with the needed accessory). Again, it's a small gripe, but also easy to fix. Overall I've been quite happy.
I usually don't bother with reviews but wanted to do one here since there's so little info to be found on the C7 (loads on the C6 though!). I bought this bike to use as a peleton alternative with the peleton app. The bike is a great bike. I've ridden outdoor bikes a lot (road and mountain) but never really went to the indoor bikes until this. I have been pleasantly surprised. The seat is actually very comfortable, especially with bike shorts. If you're not used to sitting on a bike seat then of course it'll feel weird, but you let butt gets used to it. This thing is super quiet and easy to use, easy to adjust resistance, easy to connect Bluetooth. It's a little difficult at first rising with the peleton app because of trying to figure out resistance levels. Even the 'conversion charts' online don't feel like they're accurate. My only real complaints about it is the water bottle holder should be set further back to avoid hitting your knees on it (there's lots of complaints about this with the c6, which is basically the same bike without the console). The screen is quite small to use as your entertainment or spin class but it's perfect for using as manual mode for the metrics during a peleton class (which I watch on my tv).KC
I ordered the Bowflex ultimately because it was a more affordable product than the Peloton bike, but could sync with the app on my phone. While there are many other alternatives, so many of them also come with their own software, and I wanted to keep sharing the app with my sister and stick with the instructors I know, so I appreciated that there's a tech stand but no required/automatic app. When riding, I can see my cadence on the Peloton app which is great because it's a little harder to read on the bike display screen. It'd be fabulous if I could track resistance on the app too. (If you're a Peloton user – or aspiring user – too but considering buying the Bowflex machine – an Apple Watch will track your heartrate while you ride and sync with the Peloton app to give you an output in the Peloton app. I jussst switched to Fitbit, which does not sync with the Peloton app. :-/) I set the bike up myself! It was straightforward, I'd say, and it didn't take long, considering. It maybe took me 45-50 minutes (including the time I spent finding tools I hid under other pieces, ha). I find that the bike is sturdy; it doesn't wiggle and wobble while I ride. It's quiet too! Except for the exasperated sighs I make while on it, it doesn't make any sound. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to many many rides on my Bowflex C6. #sweepstakes

This bike is one of the best investments we've made. It performs flawlessly and there is plenty of versatility whereas we no longer need a gym membership. The price point was perfect the membership price is certainly worth it. Therefore, I would highly recommend this piece of equipment in your gym. However, we bought Echelon shoes and just over 30 days later my Velcro broke. Since it was after 30 days later I could not return them. We had other dealings with customer service in the months just after buying the bike. The customer service leaves much to be desired as far as buying accessories from the company. They are a third-party and getting a hold of the corporate seems to be near impossible. I still gave the five star review simply because the equipment is outstanding. Just don't buy accessories from their store if you need to return them it is quite a process.
I absolutely LOVE this bike and the community that rides it. I bought my bike (Costco 4S) in February 2021 and today, (11/15/2022) I completed my 1000th workout. I have over 800 rides and almost 200 Fitpass classes completed. The variety of classes makes it possible for me to ride either a live or on-demand ride every day, whether I feel like riding 75 minutes or want to take it easy with a 20 minute low impact ride. The instructors are exceptional. While I have never met any of them personally, they project warmth and compassion, and make me, the rider feel like I am important to them. The feeling I get from them is that this is more than just a job, it is really their passion and they care about us, their riders. The variety of Facebook groups specific to Echelon are numerous and there is something for everyone. When I had an issue with the attached tablet not allowing me to log in, I sent a Facebook message to Echelon and within 5 minutes I had a message back with instructions how to reset the tablet. Ok people this is not a shirt you can stuff back in the bag and return to QVC. The thing took my husband 2 hours to put together and it weighs a ton. So here are the details to assist. Full disclosure I'm a 5'4 fat lady (working on changing the fat part, hence the bike.) So I had been using the x-bike and wanted to level up for a sturdy bike that I could do standing cycle jogging out of the saddle. I'd been using the fancy bike app with my x-bike so and didn't want to spend the extra on a bike with the attached monitor. Like I need another screen in my house??? I like using the bike with my Ipad so I can take any class, you tube, peloton app or just netflix and spin so this seemed to be the ticket. Ok so here's the downfalls: 1- THE SEAT IS A TORTURE DEVICE- this was just not doable for me or my 14 year old son who validated my concern. So no problem, did some research and ordered a new bike seat on amazon, spent an hour or so learning how to change on youtube now comfy seat- check. 2- Configuration IS A SQUEEZE- ok so if you move the HANDLEBARS up they also move outwards from the body, assuming that all riders are super tall that want high handles, they say to raise them high if you are pregnant have back pain or are a beginner, so you better be tall too. Of course, you can move the seat forward to match but then wait my knees are in a funny position, and oh how do I get off this thing? The brake is right on my who-ha while I try to shimee out of this thing. So now I just find myself riding too far up and back to avoid knee pain or who-ha dismount, so feel like I'm bracing for dear life to get to those handle bars way forward. 3. The setting to move up the seat are not very clear and make it difficult to find the right spot again if someone else uses the bike. Wind-up! So with all this you wonder why I still have it. Well, it's a nice bike, I spent about $1000 bucks time and energy getting it set up, and I'm assuming that as I get thin these issues will subside. Chose company with best guarantee policy, b/c they don't want product to give them headaches, damage their reputation. Ordering process fine. Packed well, box damage did not reach contents. Box packed firmly. Opened both ends, pushed gently with feet, contents slid slowly out. YAY, bike not fully broken down! Max 12 main parts + fasteners, knobs, pedals, not bad. Fasteners well-identified, shrink-wrapped to cardboard by type. Assembly system & instructions clear, understandable. Yes, complex (lots of parts) but less than 2 hrs. working patiently step-by-step. Easy, direct. Some people w/b done in 45 min. Threading, huge complaint for competitors, is well-made. Rear wheels functional but too tiny. Check-up steps: Only 1 cust serv question. I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion. The upper arm bike isn't loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together. I use this exerciser to regain the strength and stamina I lost during the covid-19 pandemic. I don't have much space, and I was looking for a small unit. It arrived in one large box. Before opening the box, I asked for email instructions to assemble it. Hammacher Schlemmer responded within the hour, and I read the directions a few times before opening the package. My son-in-law helped me complete this, and he also read the instructions in advance. I spread out a quilt and brought the parts into the basement playroom. The nuts/bolts/small pieces were separated and labeled in a molded clear plastic container, so I did not have to deal with many jumbled parts. The unit was easy to put together step-by-step, I found the instructions very clear. Our only mistake was using the wrong washers in the first step, but we quickly corrected that. I tried the exerciser out and could only do 4 minutes! When I went to my health club pre-Covid, I warmed up 20-25 minutes on a stationary recumbent bike before completing the exercise machine circuit and swimming. I am glad I finally purchased this exerciser. It has been three weeks, and I can now do 20 minutes. I don't know if I will ever feel comfortable enough to return to my health club. The tension for the pedaling does not work properly , setting 1 thru 5 is on ONE speed of the lowest resistance and 6 thru 8 gives some resistance but not enough Customer service is non-existent, NO ONE ANSWERS the phone. Purchased this exercise bike after being placed on oxygen and needing to rebuild lost muscle. Son had no problem putting it together, took about an hour. It's easy to use, quiet and I can enjoy watching TV as I exercise both arms and legs at the same time. I only wish I could add more tension to the legs. Overall really satisfied with the purchase it's been about three weeks now and I still love it. I'm 5'8" female and there's plenty of room to exercise legs and arms together without bumping into each other. My 6 year old grandson even tries to use it, of course he's supervised and he thinks his muscles are growing… Looks like it's going to be a family exercise bike. Easy to assemble, got freaked out a bit when I couldn't find the part that holds the seat to the frame (found it nestled inside the seat tube). Mine as damaged. For shipping, they have cardboard tubes attached to the frame where the legs attached… The screws hold the cardboard tubes on and are easily damaged. Three of the four bolts were stripped and bent. Rather than go through the hassle of trying to fit this back in the box for a return (and subsequently waiting on a replacement that might also have the same damage), I used some carriage bolts with locknuts that fit through the frame. Beyond all that, it is a very nice bike, similar to the ones I had to use in Physical Therapy (but much cheaper) for shoulder and spinal surgeries. I’m too excited to have this Pro-Form Pro C22 stationary bike. I actually got an assembler to put it together because I didn’t want to make a mess and within not even an hour all by himself without any help from me he put it together. Even he said it was a great piece of workout equipment. I don’t know where to start with this beautiful piece of equipment but the most greatest part of the bike is of course the bicycle itself, but I’m in love with the 22 inch smart HD touchscreen display. I mean it even swivels. I’m a nurse and need stress relief, this makes my garage, turned into my home gym, complete. I love bicycling and do outdoor biking often here in Florida. I don’t always have time to go down to the bridge or the trial to bike. This bike completes my need to cycle without leaving my home. The one year membership to iFit is a dream come true and an amazing perk that came totally free. In truth I couldn't ask for more. Really streamlined bike heavy in weight, so stays solidly based on the floor, no rocking or unbalanced feeling. Love the front wheels, makes it comfortable to easily move to different locations in my garage. I consider myself a medium to advanced rider and this bike helps me to meet my needs and allows me to further develop my more advanced goals. This bike has 24 resistance levels, you can’t beat that. I have been wanting a spin bike forever now. After a long year of stress eating and no gyms open I finally buckled down and ordered one. After tons of research I decided to go with this model, the ProForm Pro C22. The giant screen and all of the features available plus the price is what drew me towards this model. Not only that but it also comes with a free year of iFit! Thankfully it was doable to put together on my own and with the wheels in the front I can easily move it around if needed. Everything is easily adjustable for different riders or sizes and heights. It’s very easy to adjust the seat and the handlebars at anytime. I was ready for my first ride within a few hours after receiving. The iFit classes are amazing and definitely make working out feel a whole lot less boring. You really feel like you are in an actual class. The added addition of the weights also intensifies things. You would think 3lbs would be easy but it’s a great addition to the bike. Bought in sept 21. Came out of box with wiring issues. Took a month to figure out and get running. I love ifit and use 6 days a week. In Jan 22 started to get a intermittent clanking in the crank. This to progressively worse. After countless hours with customer service and sendin pictures and videos to support my issues they finally sent a tech. The entire drive …crank…belt…flywheel had to be replaced. After less than five mos of use. After multiple escalations a replacement was sent. I received and put together on a Sunday. After 2 days of use a vibration/dragging is already occurring in the flywheel. Have the rw900 rower…just as bad. After just 22 rows the flywheel is squealing nonstop. I find myself riding every day, enjoying it and looking forward to the next workout. The only thing I did was change the seat out for a more comfortable saddle. I love this bike! Here are some of the things I appreciated about the ProForm bike: • It was very easy to assemble! • The seat easily adjusts vertically and horizontally. This has been one of my favorite features because my nine-year-old rides it a lot and I can quickly adjust it to fit my 6'6" frame. The seats also very comfortable. • The flywheel is well built which creates a smooth, steady pedal stroke. I feel like I'm outside on my street bike, it feels so realistic. • The LCD allows me to track several things but I especially watch my mileage, speed and time. • I like how easy it is to adjust the resistance. • The handlebars easily adjust for the perfect fit and have great grip. • The toe clips have straps that easily adjust to fit my size 15 shoe or my sons size 8. They keep my feet in place which increases my stability. Once in a while I use the pedals with the opposite side up. I just got the Marcy Magnetic Recumbent Bike and it is absolutely amazing! It has endless cool features. It comes with eight different levels of resistance. The seat has adjustments for long and short legs. Not only does the screen track your distance it also tracks speed, time, calories burned, and odometer. The seat comes with a very comfortable cushion seat, and the bars are made of foam so it will not hurt your hands to hold on to while you are cycling. The foot pedals have plastic bars that help you hold your foot in place while using the bike. It has a maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds. The assembly time is about two hours but it took me less than that. The instructions are very thorough and simple to understand as you are putting the bike together. Overall I would highly recommend this product to someone that is motivated and dedicated to losing weight or bettering their health overall.Bri
This is a standard seated bike that is good for occasional use. The bike came unassembled in 11 pieces and was very easy to unpack. The instructions are okay if you are good at putting things together, but the instructions are not very descriptive for beginners. Once the bike is assembled, the rear “feet” do allow for adjustments so that the bike does not wobble during use. In addition, there is a third knob for adjustment in the middle of the bike to ensure that the bike is stable. Negatives: – The bike does not come with batteries for the center console, so you will need to purchase 2 AAA batteries separately – The ledge on the bike display is too shallow and cannot be used to prop up your phone or tablet safely – At higher gear levels, the resistance does not feel smooth when peddling – When you stop peddling, you can hear the gear slide inside – You can only peddle forward, as there is no resistance available going backward – Bike seems to be made for taller people. At 5’3”, the shortest settings just barely allows me to ride comfortably. This bike is perfect for me. I bought it for cardio and knee-strengthening exercise since the Y pool is not offering aquatic classes during the pandemic. I use it 30 minutes a day, five days a week, and feel stronger. I'm 79 years old, and average weight and height, and while it's perfect for me, I'm not sure that it would serve the needs of someone younger and heavier who wanted a more vigorous workout, as it is not as stable as that might require. Just got this bike so I could watch TV or IPad while exercising lazily. Im a 68 year old woman living in a small space and it’s great for my situation – sturdy, easy to adjust, quiet, easy to fold up (with practice) and move to my bedroom when people are over. Also easy to assemble if you take your time, look at the pictures in the manual carefully and make sure all the bolts are tightened well. Haven’t tried the electronics yet. Only negative is I can’t adjust it long enough for my leg length. I’m 5’10” but with long legs and bad knees so I have my knees bent more than I’d like when riding it. This bike is super cool! Doesn’t take long to assemble( I had a young man to help me! All set up in just over an hour ). It fits all the description it claims: quite light to move about; seat height is good for 5 foot and 5 foot 10 individual, and the computer screen to keep track of your exercises. The upper arms strings are very useful. An senior of 70years of age, I like being challenged by this bike, it has different tension you can adjust /play with! My husband is having health issues so I had to get this into the house from the deck, open the box, carry the pieces upstairs to the bedroom/work out room & then put it together. I was able to carry the box into the dining room, open it & get the various pieces upstairs. Assembling it was a piece of cake, although my husband did have to point out what tool I needed to use. Fortunately, the tools came with the bike so I didn't have to rummage around a lot of his tool boxes for the correct tools. I love this bike. I am able to raise the seat easily & change from one bike position to another. I am using it in the recumbent position because that's the only position my husband can use right now & I don't want to have to remember to change the position every time I use the bike. My only complaint is the back rest. I wish it was adjustable. One other reviewer wanted the back rest higher because she was taller. I'm short & would like the back rest lower. I have to wedge a small pillow behind my back because the back rest kills my back. Since I typically do at least an hour a day, the back rest is important to me. Can't say anything about the app. I read while using the bike so I'm not sure I will ever use the app. I'm glad I saw this presentation. At the time, I had to stop the treadmill because of a very sore foot. I have continued on the bike while waiting for the foot to get better & will probably end up alternating the bike & treadmill once my foot is better. This bike was well worth the money & even my husband can use it for very short periods of time. He was unable to use the treadmill so this gives him a little bit of exercise each day. After getting the bike assembled, which was not as easy as other reviews state, there was a grinding noise. We took the bike completely apart and found the belt was not on correctly. It took FOREVER to get it back on. After fixing that there was an issue with the tension cable. After working on this bike for a while it is finally usable. This exercise bicycle is easy to use. I had a sore knee for weeks. I noticed soreness was less after first use. I have used the bike for 2 weeks and knee pain is gone. I bought this bike several years ago, and have been very pleased with it. I am 97 years old, stagger around with a cane, and have very little strength. This bike is good for me. It's very easy to get on and off – the seat is chair height, with a back and arms making it secure to ride. Other configurations like upright bikes and rowing machines are difficult, and those requiring you to stand are impossible for me to use without falling. I ride this bike for 30 minutes a day at a resistance setting of 5 within the range of 1 – 8, about what I remember the resistance of peddling a real bike at about 10 -15 mph to be. The bike has a very good price; it has the essentials and no more. Other than occasionally tightening a few screws, I've had no maintenance problems. I have two criticisms: (1.) The adjustment for riders of different heights is cumbersome, and (2.) The little computer displays operating time, speed, distance, calories , and something I don't understand. It is difficult to zero the display at the start of a run; I just keep punching until it eventually does, and the calorie count never zeros, but who believes it anyway. The same is a problem with the scan function – just keep punching and eventually it starts working. For someone like me who needs aerobic exercise, but is too old and feeble to go running in the park, this is a great machine.William

We love, love, love our Schwinn 170! Although I originally envisioned myself using it every morning and encouraging my husband to use it with a grudging acceptance or avoidance, my husband has taken to riding this every day of his own volition; he puts an iPad with hockey or uses the Explore the World app on it and has been increasing his time each day by another 5 minutes. As one who never used to want to go to the gym to work out, this choice on his part is incredible and so inspiring to me. I am using it as well, and it is fantastic, especially with the individual user profiles and a ton of other great features that make it my favorite exercise equipment. If you are on the fence about getting one because you have a significant other who may be in the same mind, this may be what turns them around to getting a good regular workout. Not being so familiar with the price of these bikes, I initially thought the cost might be a little high, but after doing my research, I can definitely share that the features are excellent and the Schwinn quality is something I feel confident in over just getting a $200 bike that will fall apart within a year and then leave me high and dry without any recourse. Also, I can honestly say that if you don't desire to use an appliance because it lacks appeal, you have wasted your money anyway, and the prize is in the regular use of this bike. The Schwinn is comfortable and really easy to use to get a good workout in, and its sturdiness and quality just invites that regular use that can have such a positive impact on your health. I wanted to buy a bike that would help me lower my blood sugars. I live in a cold and snowy climate so during the winter you can not get out much for exercise. And I did not want to join a gym. So I researched upright stationary bikes. This one came up as one of the good ones. Things I like are the weight limit worked for me, Sturdy even if I get moving fast, quiet, and has some pre-programmed settings. The one thing that could be worked on is learning how to use the program settings and all the bike does. I had to google youtube and watch people's videos to understand the settings. I did order a seat thinking it was a bigger seat for the bike and it was the same size. In the description, I assumed it was an upgraded seat . I will keep it though because if there is one thing I think will break down it will be the seat, as I am not a small person.Exercise wont kill me
I looked at the full range of exercise bikes ranging from $150 to $3000. I was looking for something similar to the ones I have used at health clubs in the past (in the cardio area not the spinning rooms). Nothing fancy, just one that offers simple workout routines with various workout levels and tracks your calories, distance, etc, doesn't require a tablet or phone, and doesn't break the bank. Ive had this bike for about 6 weeks now and this is exactly that. It's well built, comfortable, easy to use, compact, light and easy to move around, and affordable. If you are looking for a spinning style bike with a weighted fly-wheel (ie Pelaton), this is not it. If you need live instructors or virtual rides on a large built-in screen, this is not it (although this does connect with the Explore the World app that syncs with the machine and you can do virtual rides on your phone or tablet). If you are looking to spend a lot of money for the bike and additional monthly fees for the live workout subscriptions, this is not it. This is just a great, simple exercise bike at a great price. Also, it is easy to put together. All the tools are included and it takes about 30-60 minutes depending upon your skill level. Several people have posted Youtube videos of how to assemble it which made it even easier. At the time I bought it Target had it on sale and with the red card discount it was the best price. The fan stinks when its on and sounds like a jet engine. Handles are in a OK position but tilted in a way that its hard to use the heart rate monitor, luckily they provide a band for your chest to measure your heart rate. The tablet holder is a nice feature useful, because the screen that's on it is pretty much useless, unless you want to pay money to bike with the app and programs. The tech has some serious bugs, unable to update the bike, so cant even use the app with the bike. The seat is by far the worst part its like a giant hard rock and there absolutely no way to change it out for a better seat and extremely hard to find a cushion that will fit it because its so large. It's not the most comfortable riding bike in general, due to positioning of the feet paddles to the seat. I always feel like i have to adjust it over and over, but can never get that perfect fit. Overall its a 2 star bike probably better then some other bikes on the market but no where near as good as something you'd find at a gym. At this price id expect a little more for overall comfort of the ride.what372
I bought this bike as a close-out item. It went together with the tools provide. One of the plastic pieces was deformed due to how it was packed. I set on the dashboard of my vehicle during a hot day and it shifted back into shape. I like the item and there are updated treks to take even if you do not subscribe to their service. The fan was a little noisy at first but became quieter as it was used. It seems to be little light weight for a "commercial" but good for personal use.Kansas
The assembly was challenging. The inlays on the handlebars are coming right off exposing the wiring. The foot straps come undone from the pedals. The seat comes lose during riding no matter how hard you try to tighten it. The speakers are crappy, the fans are loud & the connectivity to wifi is brutal….I couldn’t register the bike for warranty due to the discounted price nor access to the 1 year iFIT membership. Luckily someone at NordicTrack customer service helped with the last 2. I’m waiting for someone at NordicTrack to address the other issues mentioned above.James

I have bought this exercise bike for a few days, and I use it every day. The adjustable resistance makes the workout more challenging, and it’s quiet, this make me happy. Even for my nephew, he is 6'2" 255lb men, there is just no frame flexing or movement. Can support his weight completely. Adjustable design make my wife and me use it easily. In the process of using the product, I found that there are adjustable black foot-pads under the bottom bar, increasing the stability of the product by adjusting the black foot-pads.
