It really does smooth out the calluses and make my feet so soft. Just be very careful because it is so easy to grind down too far. I suggest starting on the lowest speed until you get the hang of it. I cannot say enough great things about this! I struggle with thick calluses on my heels that crack and hurt when I’ve worn sandals to much and when I’m dehydrated. After the first use, I was hooked. Now I just push back my own cuticles, file and paint my own ties after using this- it’s better and less expensive than a pedicure. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pedicure, but my calluses just grow back and this product was a game changer. Forget about the cost- just get it! Oh, and go ahead and get some replacement heads with your purchase. It’s totally worth it.
I do not understand how this product received such high reviews. I own a battery operated one and thought I would switch to a cordless filer for convenience. This was expensive and not worth the money. The filer automatically shuts off at the slightest amount of pressure…which means it is constantly shutting off and incapable of filing. You're not allowed to press down AT ALL before the machine stops filing. I guess it's some sort of safety measure, but it makes this awful product ( can't even call it a filer) incapable of doing its job. I highly regret this purchase. I am disappointed that reviews cannot be trusted nowadays due to marketing scams, which this felt like. Save your money and do it manually with other products or get the battery operated one which works %100 better. Waste of money!melinda

It came out to $25 because target had a sale plus I had an extra 10% off because of my red card anniversary and an extra 5% off if I used my red card. Talk about a steal so I went for it. I used it today and I love it my feet are soft and smooth like a baby's bottom. I Did not have to scrub hard or move my hands that much which is perfect. I think that the Finishing Touch Flawless Pedi Electronic Tool File and Callus Remover, Pedicure (B08NX1QJ3Q) is a fantastic product and it would be one of my favorite beauty/self care products, except unfortunately, I continue to have the same issue with this product over and over again. The first one I bought worked pretty well, after charging it of course. But as it was starting to die after two uses, I tried charging it again, but it wouldn't charge. No charging light, no nothing. I even had the "male experts , on everything electrical" try to do something with it, but nothing. A few days later, I gave up and bought another one thinking that I had just got a rare one that had gone bad. This one I used once and when I went to charge it, the light came on and I thought I was in the clear. After it said it had been fully charged, I went to use it but it would not turn on! I tried everything from switching the chargers, searching for more in-depth instruction booklets online or anything that could help, period. After contacting the manufacturer, they replaced it with a coupon for a new one, free of charge. After getting the third one, I finally got to use the product more than one time, BUT after using it a small handful of times, (less than 20), the charge has become so little that I get about 2-3 minutes of use and then it's dead again. Of those 3 minutes, only half that time does it run at a somewhat normal speed, and the other half is super slow and groggy, so I get about a third to a half of one foot completed before I have to charge it completely again! I wish there was a better solution than having to buy a completely new device every 3 months on average. Water gets pretty hot which is nice. But the bubbles do not contribute to massaging the foot. Barely feel them at all, actually. Wish the scrub/massage pads would stay more secure as they come off too easily but they do feel good when rubbing your feet of them. Typically use it after a rough day at work or when feet are unreasonably cold and socks+slippers just don't cut it. I like the pummice stone and scrubber attachment. Even use it in the shower. Residue is easily left even if feet are clean and water poured out after each use. Gets under the scrub pads. Annoying to clean. Overall, very much thankful that I got it while on sale. Over the years, I've tried a few Homemedic foot baths. This one is my favorite. My feet have always needed attention at the end of the day. This model does the job. Positives: Makes my feet feel great. The heating actually works, and I like the bubbles and rubber foot massager. Finding the best starting water temperature took a few tries. Too cool takes too long too heat. Too hot and it gets too hot. Starting a little cooler than you want the water temperature is about where you want to start. Negatives: The only temperature setting is on or off; it needs low, med, high. Additionally, the bubbles are on the same switch with the heat – On or Off, meanining no bubbles without heat. The splash guard is worthless because the bath is small. I wear men's size 10, wich is a half size smaller than average 10.5. The tank is a little shallow, making it easy to splash. I use a couple of towels with a large kitchen floor mat. If I could find a larger one with heat control and separate on/off for the bubbles at a reasonable price, I'd buy it. Although I enjoy going to the salon I'm also a diy kind of girl and enjoy painting my own nails. After I received my "Bubble Spa Elite Footbath" I set it up and put my feet in to soften the skin and get them prepared to be painted. I really like the size of the bath as it has enough room to comfortably place your feet but not to big that it can still be easily stored when not in use. I followed directions and filled it up with luke warm water and to my surprise it really did heat up faster and stayed at a consistent temperature. It was just hot enough to soften my skin but without being to hot. I like that it wasn't to load but instead the sound helped me meditate and relax while massaging my feet at the same time. Not only is this great for preparation before doing your nails but it is perfect for tired aching feet and a great way to unwind.I soaked my feet for twenty minutes and then used the pumice stone which worked like a charm exfoliating all the dead skin off my feet. The on off button was convenient and easy to use and I was able to turn it off with my foot. The splash guard kept all the water inside with only a few drops occasionally dripping over the side but not enough to cause any damage to the floor. I loved the foot massagers and slowly rubbed my feet over them and never felt more relaxed.I had the best experience with this foot bath and my it made painting my toe nails a breeze afterwards. It does it's job . I ordered my 6 th pedegg powerball rechargeable callus remover about a week before I ordered this 1. The other brand 1 I'd buy would be almost ok the last 1 had no power from the start and would go dead in less than a couple minutes . The own harmony is a bad dude I don't even have to charge it but every 2nd or 3rd use, FAR SUPERIOR PRODUCT TO OTHER BRANDS . The roller is easy on off and it doesn't appear that if you drop it it would fly into 20 pieces with springs popping out from who knows where. Beware I used this and it took forever to do a decent job but my stone is quicker with the same results. Packed it away after shutting it off and an hour later I was hearing this buzzing sound. After searching for the noise I found the machine had turned on. I quickly opened the box and even though the switch was off, the unit was running. I removed the batteries immediately and packed it up to be sent back I can't imagine how this occurred but will not risk future issues. I received this as a Christmas gift. And used it a few hours after my shower to make sure my feet were nice and dry. I was a little skeptical because, like many people, I am ticklish on my feet. While this doesn't go on the bottom part of your foot, goes close enough!! But the problem areas (my heels and sides of feet), this did an AMAZING job! I fell in love with it right then and there! I was just shocked it worked so well! Simple to follow instructions, easy to clean, though I do wish there was maybe a container to hold the dry skin particles rather then letting them fly all over and maybe a little case to put the unit, brush and extra filer into so they don't get lost or have to sit in the little box they come in. I have purchased the Dr Scholls Pedi foot smoother from Walmart & used the high dollar off coupon. However, until now, I have not been able to find ANY refills anywhere so I would have said no, don't buy these! But now I see that Walmart.com has the refills. I do like the Dr Scholls pedi smoother, however it takes a long time to get some really rough spots off of my feet because the rollers are not made for coarse callouses and the area of the roller is much smaller than the Amope Pedi perfect. The Amope Pedi perfect does have refills for extra coarse rollers. I can say though that the Dr Scholls Pedi foot smoother does not lose power while using it, unlike a lot of the reviews I've read for all of the other pedi smoothers. If Dr Scholls decides to ever make coarse refills, I would definitely then give Dr Scholls 5 stars as their pedi smoother would then be perfect!Crystalsno
My feet get pretty dry this time of year; in the month of February during the cold winter season. Applying lotion helps, but never really does the job. So I gave Dr. Scholl's Foot File a try. The results were quite impressive. The white, powdery dust falling from my foot was kinda gross, but the smooth skin that result was worth it. Note that, because my feet were so bad, it took me several sittings before I got down to that smooth skin. The manufacturer warns not to use the device more than 20 minutes at a time. I agree with this. I would also add not to use the device more than once a day; I tried it twice on the same day and my feet turned a little red and became a bit sensitive. So it's best to put some time between applications. My wife's feet, on the other hand (or the other foot, that is), are well taken care of. She uses Pumice Stones, Avon foot lotion, and other foot files. Her feet are fairly smooth to begin with. That said, when she used the device she also met with impressive results. Amazingly, her feet produced that dry powdery dust like mine, and when she was done, she said her feet never felt so good. Ever since she has been addicted to using the Dr. Scholl's Foot File. Now, here's the negative part. The device does not come with a built-in rechargeable battery. This seems like it should be a fairly standard feature in today's market. Instead, you must feed it 2 AA batteries. Also, the plastic build of the device reminds me of dollar store quality. For a retail cost of $39.99, one would expect both a charger and a better build. That said, the micro-grain roller is the jewel of the device. It does the job and it does it really well. Removing the roller is easy, which makes cleaning a simple task. I recommend cleaning after every use as dry sky builds up on the roller. The manufacturer recommends using a bristle brush, but unfortunately does not include one (another feature I think should come standard). Thankfully, I had an extra brush from my beard trimming kit that did the job, and using a small handheld broom was best for getting the initial dry skin off the device itself. Supposedly the roller lasts anywhere between 60 and 90 days, and a replacement pack of two costs around $15. Overall, I'm happy with the success I met by using the Dr. Scholl's Foot File, even if it is a bit lacking in features.James M.

I suffered really dry and callous feet for a long time and I was using a callous remover like a filer but it didn't do much.
