I've dropped it onto hard flooring, I've thrown it, and it didn't crack or break or dent AT ALL. There's been some instances where my shaver was dropped (hard) onto wood flooring, hard enough that it should have ended up in pieces, unusable, but has performed consistently up until now. Unfortunately, with all the use it's seen, it's just now getting to the point of needing to be replaced, but it's still working. In a world full of cheaply made crap from China, Phillips is crafting their products to the good ol' USA standards for durability and consistent performance. Would DEFINITELY recommend!! I really like the color of this groomer and like the little bag that zips up that can carry all the attachments. I also like that it is rechargeable and doesn't eat up batteries. The problem is that it doesn't get a very close shave. Some of the attachment heads are just useless to me. The foil shaver didn't work at all. I thought maybe it was just a bad battery and replaced it with one brand new from a package that I had at home. It still didn't work. I was pleasantly surprised how well this works, having given up on electric shavers decades ago. It shaves relatively close when I've used it dry, and conforms to the body shape. I haven't yet used it wet. This is a great shaver/trimmer. I was super surprised for the price. I have tried several Remington shavers, even some more expensive than this with terrible results. This shaver gives you no nicks and it shaves down the hairs to 1/8 of an inch! Several reviews have said it isn't a close enough shave with the head attachment on but any closer and all the hair would be shaved off. Make sure to read the instruction book because it tells you how to hold the shaver correctly for the best shave. You also can use the trimmer with the head attachment off. I am unfortunately unable to provide a full review of the product as I was unable to use it in the condition it was sent to me. I noticed that the box had some minor damage/wear suggesting it had been open before. Upon closer inspection of the blade, I noticed a few very small bits of hair/fuzz. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. I immediately contacted Ulta and received the automated response to expect a reply within 24 hours. Over a day later, still no response. I want to give Ulta the benefit of the doubt, as it is a pretty horrible thing to deceptively return such a product and claim it was never used. The hairs are faint so I could understand how they may have been overlooked, but still I would hope more care would be given, especially given the nature of the product. In my opinion, a product of this nature should always be final sale, barring mechanical defects that prevent it from functioning to begin with. I live over an hour away from my most convenient Ulta store, and it is proving to be a hassle to get this exchanged. I never anticipated I would need to send the product back or bring it into store, because even if I was disappointed with the performance, I wouldn't return it after using it. I really love this shaver. After watching many positive review videos and my old shaver died, I bought this and am really impressed. You can shave with or without shaving gel/cream. This is the second OneBlade I have owned. As a stand alone, this is a good trimmer, especially for shorter length trimming. I like most of the new design, especially that the handle is slimmer with a better grip. However when compared to the last model, it falls short in allowable max trimming length and ease of adjustment. The reason is due to the rotating blade head. This new feature is not bad to have, though with the narrow blade, I've never felt the need for it. The rotation doesnt allow for a cap like the previous model, which had a simple dial to adjust length, all the way up to 9. This blade has an attachment which you need to rotate with your thumb. It's not the smoothest or easiest operation. It goes up to 5mm, which isn't bad for a face trimmer, but less than the previous. Overall, this is a solid trimmer which will get the job done well. This electric razor is garbage and not worth the money. It worked okay at first but never gave a very close shave and even without the guard. It also nicked me at least twice. I had it for about 5 months when I tried to charge it for the third or fourth time since purchasing it and it just didn’t work anymore. I am one of those women that shave every day to keep my legs smooth. I was offered the Remington Smooth Glide rechargeable shaver to try in exchange for my honest review and was very excited to test it out. I love the fact that this shaver can be used dry or in the shower with shaving cream and that it comes with an edger and trimmer to help cut down longer hair so that the shaver can get a closer cut. The first time I tried using this shaver, I tried it in the shower with shaving cream. As I mentioned before, I shave daily, so I didn't have long hair, just some stubble. I found it a little difficult at first to get it to cut the stubble and make my legs feel smooth. I had to do several passes over different areas of my legs to get it to finally feel smooth but since I was just getting used to using it, I chalked it up to needing more practice. It seemed that the shaver wasn't able to get close enough to my skin to cut the stubble due to the cream so I tried again later with it on dry skin. The shaver easily glides over the bumps and grooves and doesn't feel like it is pulling the hair. I didn't get any type of razor burn or irritation when using it dry. While it can take a few tries to get the hair to cut close to the skin, in the end, I had a smooth shave. The shaver also worked very well with my underarms. The charging stand offers a convenient way to store and charge the shaver so it is always ready for use. The charge also seems to last a long time. While I am still getting used to how hard I need to press down and how to angle the shaver to get a close shave, each time I use it my shave gets better. I had been using a men's razor with triple rotating heads. It missed so much hair I had to go over the same spot multiple times. This razor is very efficient. Once or twice over a spot and my legs are smooth. It's easy to hang onto. I'm very happy I chose this razor. I have not tried it in the shower yet, but dry shaving has been so easy! I just love this Smooth & Silky Body & Bikini personal grooming kit. The kit comes with a nice bag for easy storage and for travel purpose. It came with a battery so that I was able to use it right out of the box. Instructions were clear and easy to follow as well. Since its battery operated and water or splash proof it’s great to use in the shower for quick and easy cleanup. I used it for a quick clean up on my bikini area. I was so excited for the smooth and silky body and bikini grooming kit. I had really high hopes for it. It is the perfect size, not to large, but not too small. It comes with a little carrying bag which is perfect for traveling. I love that it is battery operated and can be used wet or dry. I tried it both ways and unfortunately it did not work well for me. I used the foil shaver first and it did not remove any of my hair, I then used the bikini and body trimmer head. It left lines down my legs but did not remove any of my hair. I think that unless you have long hairs it will not cut them. My husband has a very hairy chest so I tested each head on him. The only head that works was the bikini and body trimmer, it took his hairs down to stubble, but not a smooth shave. I am very disappointed in this razor. The product pictured and described on the Ulta app is The item pictured / described on the Ulta App is not the same item I received. The shaver came earlier today. It has ONE shaving head not two. There is NO charging base, only a plug in wall charger. When I called customer service they could not tell me if the replacement item they are sending will actually be the two head shaver with a charging base. ((Why?!?)) Bought for in store pick-up. I was provided a completely different razor that does not come with a base. The color around the button is solid pink and not white. And it has a dofferent head. All other stores sell that version along with the one advertised here. The employee berated my husband telling him he does not know anything that this is the new and improved model she provided us in our order. That it does not matter that it does not come with a base or that the head only has a single blade. Tried to shove a razor that elsewhere sells down my hsubands throat for $10 that does not match the product they list here (elsewhwre also sells this razor and it is the same price). Nothing worse than a company praying you don’t read the smaller text. I was unfortunate enough to buy in store to find out that the 100% waterproof is only for cleaning. Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. Took forever to get anything off my face which a normal razor could have done 3 times over in the time I tried to use this- and my face still isn’t properly shaven. This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. However, a friend of mine who also sports a beard has used a Braun for years, no issues. For the price I paid for this razor, I thought I'd try. Not sure why this little razor isn't getting more love, maybe people just don't know how to shave. It works darn good. I can shave closer & faster than I can with a blade, no irritation, and it does not destroy my beard lines. I can't imagine how good your expensive models shave, this little guy works well. There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I had one similar to this two years ago and loved it so I had to get another! It grabbed those stubbles in private areas that a regular razor can’t! By far the worst electric razor I’ve ever used (and I’ve been through several!). You think the pencil-thin $8.50 bikini / fine hair trimmer is rough? Adequate to Good, but not Great. I purchased this shaver instead of its lower priced sister because this one has the bikini attachment. For the extra $$$ I found the attachment to be useless. It has a few settings but none is low enough for a decent shave in bikini area. It is safe because of that as there is zero risk of cutting or hurting yourself. Having said that, I had no problem shaving the bikini area WITHOUT the attachment. I tested the unit with dry shaving and found The razor is easy to use. It worked very well on armpits and legs. I kind of wish I would have returned this to Amazon. At far as dry shaving goes, the will cut hair pretty close to the skin, so you don’t look as hairy. But if anyone feels your skin, they definitely won’t feel smooth skin. And if you have dark hair, you’re still going to see the dark hair follicles after using this. As far as the trim guard, all it’ll do is snag and pull at your hair. The pain isn’t worth it. I use my husband’s instead, which works almost flawlessly, so I shouldn’t have paid more for the [brand:panasonic] trim guard. As for the recharging of this unit, I can leave it on its charger for 24 hours and the light never turns green. I do only use it when my skin is dry, I have yet to be brave enough and see how it works when my skin is still wet after showering or bathing! Schick Quattro is a great idea of a lady product for having a razor with a bikini trimmer but don't be fooled. This was affordable until I discovered the bikini trimmer didn't last me for a long time. The first time I purchased it everything was great until the trimmer stopped working even only using it a few times. Changing the battery didn't solved the problem so I figured the real problem was something else….this stuff doesn't LAST at all. I even purchased another one to see if the first one was broken but the same happened to the second one I bought. Env: development I have tried countless brands of women's razor products to help keep my skin soft and smoothe. Among these many brands are Gillette, BIC, Venus, and Schick. Of these brands, the latter has kept my loyalty for the past year and a half. I have to give my props to Schick for their effective marketing and advertising of their most recent product, the Schick Quattro Trim Style for women. Priced at only 9.99 at major retailers like Wal-Mart, this product has a dual head (one for bikini trimming and one for the regular shaving of legs, armpits, etc. If you don't think this product is one of the MOST coveted of shaving products on the market you either 1. Don't shave or 2. Are completely out of touch with the world. When this product was first introduced to consumers you could not flip through a single channel without seeing or hearing the commercial with the women walking by the pool and the bushes trimming themselves into triangular bikini shapes. This commercial led me to desire and need the Trim Style when I didn't even know I "needed" it. After purchasing the product, I felt satisfied because I had achieved something I felt I was supposed to do (it must have been an effect of all the advertising). After actually trying the product I must say its not better than any other Schick product except that it provides the convenience of a bikini trimmer on one end of it (which I barely use). It still has the disposable blade on the regular razor end and it must be replaced over time or it won't be as effective. Overall I would call this product average. This was a really nice looking razor in the package…but once I got it opened and I realized what I had purchsed, I was mad (before I had even tried it I was disappointed). The razor itself had everything going for it, but it just didnt come together the way they planned or something. The first thing that I noticed after letting this charge ALL DAY…was that the thing was bogging down and dying on me half way through my first leg. It continues to disappoint as far as battery life and use time in between shaving. While it was going full speed though (which was not long) it did an alright job…nothing too great or impressive. I noticed that it left stubbal as well as did not feel good rubbing against the skin on my leg. The replacement blades for this cost almost three times as much as I paid for the razor. At that price…its way cheaper to buy disposables or a manual razor with replaceable cartridges…and if you are not big on shaving…Veet is always another option…bottom line, this is not a good razor. One thing I have notcied about ladies' razors in general…they just arent sharp enough (this one was no exception) If you are set on an electric razor, I would look in the mne's section. You will get a much better shave with less irritation and trouble…which this razor seems to provide plenty of all by itself. I have had this razor for 6 years ,and to this day this razor still works wonderful. I have only had to replace the replacement piece once, and they say you need to change a lot more often. I use it dry or in the shower and works really good. I always keep in charged and ready to use anytime I need it. Light weight, nice grip and easy to use. It's easy on your skin and I have sensative skin and it doesn't irratate my legs. It is easy to clean and comes in it's own pouch with a cleaning brush to keep clean. Very easy to put back together, replacement piece for the razor part of itself pays for itself, for me at least because it seems to last longer then what they think it will. This is a great razor for any age and all skin types, I think the price of itself paid off. This product was not one of my finer purchases. The first time i used this, I had a hard time actually getting the hair to come off. It did not actually shave my legs. It pulled the hairs and they got caught. After fiddling with it for awhile, I finally got half of my legs shaved and then I decided to call it quits. Then i tried to take off the top part to empty it and I couldn't get it to come off. It was pretty difficult to use. I would like to call this product an inconvenience. I would prefer to use a regular razor that is pretty literal and shaves the hair as it's supposed to. I would not reccommend buying this product. Bought this shaver because I’m a Diabetic and kept cutting my legs with razors which took too long to heal. This shaver is the worst I’ve ever had, it doesn’t cut evenly and leave stubble no matter how hard or light you press, I thought we’ll maybe it needs a new blade, but I just bought it so how cold that be?? Firstly, there are a lot of bad reviews on this shaver and I know why. They are not using this shaver correctly. It took me 4 goes to finally get the perfect shave (like a razor blade shave) it takes practice as you must shave at the correct angle for different parts of the body. The manual will be your bible for this, and is very helpful unlike most manuals. Once you have this down, its fantastic!!! Im very happy with this shaver, the attachments are useful and gets the job done, Battery life is not a problem and I love that its waterproof and coreless! No more cuts from razors too…finally! Wow, why did I wait so long to try an electric shaver!! To be honest I hadn't shaved my legs in over 6 months and this still breezed through it all and in a fraction of the time as shaving. I was skeptical because it was at the cheaper end of the prices but glad I bought it now, makes shaving so much easier and quicker.KatyMac
