Best Electric Razor For Pubic (2025 Update)

I really love this shaver. After watching many positive review videos and my old shaver died, I bought this and am really impressed. You can shave with or without shaving gel/cream. The shaver gets close but not as close as other shavers, however it is more than close enough for a professional work environment. The biggest plus is that it is extremely safe, and I have been using for over a month and not one skin irritation or nick. Works great on scalp for shaving head also. Is a little slower than shaving with a regular multiblade razor and not as close, but much safer and no shaving cream needed.MojoBBQ

This is the second OneBlade I have owned. As a stand alone, this is a good trimmer, especially for shorter length trimming. I like most of the new design, especially that the handle is slimmer with a better grip. However when compared to the last model, it falls short in allowable max trimming length and ease of adjustment. The reason is due to the rotating blade head. This new feature is not bad to have, though with the narrow blade, I've never felt the need for it. The rotation doesnt allow for a cap like the previous model, which had a simple dial to adjust length, all the way up to 9. This blade has an attachment which you need to rotate with your thumb. It's not the smoothest or easiest operation. It goes up to 5mm, which isn't bad for a face trimmer, but less than the previous. Overall, this is a solid trimmer which will get the job done well. I dont feel the blade rotation is better than an easier and longer guard adjustment.Jeremy O

This shaver is very impressive. I charged it for a couple hours and decided to give it a go on my 4 day stubble. It's worked like a dream, gives a very close shave almost as close at a razor, I was so impressed. I judge my razors based on how well i can get nice clean lines on my goatee and sideburns and this passed both tests! My goatee looks great and my sideburn lines are crisp and clean. Everything you need to keep your self groomed is included in this great little package. It's nice and compact and would be perfect to travel with. It's also rechargeable! I bought a $10 bikini trimmer at a bargain store about a decade ago. It became my absolute favorite HG trimmer that never failed me. I could literally have my whole area done in 5 minutes, and felt smooth as a baby's bum. No pain or dealing with the horrible after-shaving itchies/ingrowns. Good times. It finally died and since then, I've bought countless trimmers from cheap to expensive hoping to find one that matched up to that cheap trimmer but had no luck. I had such a bad experience with one that it nearly turned me off to these trimmers. It nicked and pulled hairs/skin and I became so scared to use it I just went to waxing which is not fun and a monthly expense I didn't want to afford. Finally took a chance on this one despite the mediocre reviews and I'm SO GLAD. this is it! If you're looking for something ten times better than shaving (no itching, ingrown hairs, etc) and something that is the next best thing to the smoothness of waxing, this is it. It's completely painless, you can apply a lot of pressure to really get the hairs at the base and it will never pull hair or nick skin. You can get into the hard-to-reach areas with ease. The hair also grows back thinner for whatever reason. It's truly magical and that's why I'm here writing a ridiculously long review on how life-changing it is. You're welcome 🙂Bree

I was pleasantly surprised how well this works, having given up on electric shavers decades ago. It shaves relatively close when I've used it dry, and conforms to the body shape. I haven't yet used it wet. It happens that the charger doesn't fit well in my bathroom – the outlet is under the medicine cabinet, and the razor has to angle out when the charger is plugged in, so this will work better where the razor can stand tall in the outlet.gorgesblonde

I thought this would be an upgrade from a cheaper electric trimmer I was using, but it kept pinching and hurt a lot. It left uneven patches, even on lighter areas despite going over the areas multiple times. Debris builds up underneath the popup trimmer too. It took longer than using a regular cheap razor due to the uneven patches, so this does not seem worth it.Sunshine

Didn't shave well and it bites. I was not impressed. I tried it on soft fine hair as well as more coarse hairs and it didn't remove either well. I ended up putting it to the side and using a traditional Billie razor. Super disappointed because I wanted to love it. Will be returning.Ccueto

5/5 Out of the shower Actually quite satisfying watching all the hairs fall off my legs. Quite flawless performance when it comes to out of the shower experience. This CUTS, mows down every single hair you can see. 1/5 In the shower The hair will stick to your body and that will make it harder to actually shave those hairs. Ended up nicking my armpit multiple times with this too. 3/5 For noise This is loud, like you can hear it from a room and maybe 2 rooms away. Everyone in the house will know you're shaving yourself. 4/5 Shaving length It's like 1mm of hair left on the legs so it's not perfect but it's still amazing for an electric shaver. Overall 3/5 I would use this more often but it's both noisy and hard to use in the shower. Other than those 2 gripes, it performs well everywhere else. I was shaving in the shower for 30 minutes and another 10 minutes out of the shower, it still has juice left to use. I recently got the Philips Norelco Bodygroom, a two in one trimmer and shaver. It must be said, up front, that this is a ***body*** hair trimmer and shaver… intended for your back, shoulders, chest, abs, underarm, arms, groin and legs. OOB, you get the two in one body hair trimmer/shaver, a cleaning brush, a proprietary charger, instructions, and a registration pamphlet. I am a hairy guy. Not quite sasquatch level, but not too far off, at least according to my wife. I have coarse hair also. It takes a pretty powerful shaver/trimmer to tame what I have going on. The short version is that the Philips Norelco Bodygroom has what it takes to get the job done, but please read on. You get a four-way contouring/pivoting shaver that first cuts your hair (with pre-cut blades on either side of the foil) and then foil shaves it down. I typically trim my chest, etc. with an adjustable trimmer head to a little over a 1/4 inch. But, for the purpose of this review, I charged the bodygroom (the green LED blinked while charging and turned solid green when done) and tried the foil shaver on the upper portion of my chest, to give the area shape. It did a great job. Close, smooth, exact… and no nicks. Note that you do not need to put a lot of pressure on the Bodygroom as you move it across your body. The way that the housing is ergonomically shaped (with a non-slip housing) is perfectly positioned to give you the right amount of pressure and surface drag. And, this was a dry shave. Yes, there was some irritation as a result of the dry shave, but that’s to be expected… and the irritation went away pretty quickly. For the remainder of my body hair, I used the adjustable trimmer head. The trimmer head offers 5 trim lengths, ranging from 1/8” (3mm) to 7/16” (11mm). It includes a guard that is easy to adjust with one finger, as well as self-sharpening blades. I had my wife take care of my back (my first time doing that, for which she was very happy). In the shower, shower off, I took care of my arm pits, chest, and other areas. There were instances where the hair “clogged” the trimmer guard, but I haven’t had a trimmer guard yet where that didn’t happen. Turn it over, shake it off, keep soldiering through. Easy enough. After cleaning up the shag carpet on the shower floor, so as not to block up my drain, I then showered and, with the water running (and given the Bodygroom is “showerproof”/water-resistant – but don’t submerge it (e.g., in a bathtub or sink), of course), took another go. At no point (dry or wet) was there an instance when there was a pinch or pull due to the trimmer blades. The self-sharpening trimmer blade was key here. My one gripe about the use of the Bodygroom was that there were instances where I could feel “drag” from the trimmer guard across more sensitive areas. It wasn’t unbearable. And, after a little I was able to learn how to maneuver to avoid the drag. But, this isn’t my first rodeo with body hair trimmers. Yet, this was the first guard with which I experienced the issue. After all was said and done, I dried the Bodygroomer, removed the trimmer guard, popped off the blade head, and cleaned the Bodygroom using the included brush. Super easy. According to the specs, the lithium ion battery in the Bodygroomer takes an hour to charge and offers 80 minutes of use. After a full charge, I used it for about 40 minutes total. It didn’t bog down once. I did recharge it before storing it and will likely charge it again before use, as I tend to go a little bit between “grooming” sessions. Other than keeping this thing clean, there’s no other maintenance. No oiling, no blade sharpening… nothing. Also, Philips Norelco offers a 5-year warranty. The manufacturer does make replacement shaving foil heads and shaving foil head cleaning spray, so just how long the foil head will last remains to be seen. A few minor bones to pick. You cannot use this device while you are charging it – but, given you’re likely to use it in the shower, with the shower running… not being able to charge it while using it is likely a good thing. In addition, I wish it came with a case that held the Bodygroom, the charger, and the brush. I’ll likely end up throwing it in an oversized zipper sandwich bag but a travel bag would’ve been a very solid addition. So, worth buying? Absolutely. For the reasons provided above, the Philips Norelco Bodygroom is a solid four star purchase and worth every penny. It’s ergonomic, easy to handle, provides two cutting surfaces (a foil shaver with pre-cutting blades and an easy to clean trimmer with self-sharpening blades and a 5-position adjustable guard), and thanks to those cutting surfaces gives you the versatility needed to shave your back, shoulders, chest, abs, underarm, arms, groin and legs. It holds a great charge and has enough power to make short work (see what I did there) of coarse body hair with zero problems. I wish it came with a travel bag, but c’est la vie. I had one similar to this two years ago and loved it so I had to get another! It grabbed those stubbles in private areas that a regular razor can’t! The only negative things I have to say is it sometimes it pinches. If you have longer hair that gets into the foil part it pulls and the side blades hurt a little(can cut your sensitive bits)Adriane

By far the worst electric razor I’ve ever used (and I’ve been through several!). You think the pencil-thin $8.50 bikini / fine hair trimmer is rough? Wait until you get yanked, tugged, and scraped by this monstrosity while still keeping 75% of the hair you go over. Waste of money and will be going straight in the trash. I have had my electric shaver for over a year now, and dang, is it durable!! This electric shaver, is built to last! I've dropped it onto hard flooring, I've thrown it, and it didn't crack or break or dent AT ALL. There's been some instances where my shaver was dropped (hard) onto wood flooring, hard enough that it should have ended up in pieces, unusable, but has performed consistently up until now. Unfortunately, with all the use it's seen, it's just now getting to the point of needing to be replaced, but it's still working. In a world full of cheaply made crap from China, Phillips is crafting their products to the good ol' USA standards for durability and consistent performance. Would DEFINITELY recommend!! Nothing worse than a company praying you don’t read the smaller text. I was unfortunate enough to buy in store to find out that the 100% waterproof is only for cleaning. Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. Took forever to get anything off my face which a normal razor could have done 3 times over in the time I tried to use this- and my face still isn’t properly shaven. This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. However, a friend of mine who also sports a beard has used a Braun for years, no issues. For the price I paid for this razor, I thought I'd try. Not sure why this little razor isn't getting more love, maybe people just don't know how to shave. It works darn good. I can shave closer & faster than I can with a blade, no irritation, and it does not destroy my beard lines. I can't imagine how good your expensive models shave, this little guy works well. Only wish I could use with a cord, but that's not a deal breaker. Don't ignore this razor!mike6000

There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I promise that this razor gives just as close a shave as a standard triple Blade razor.Philip

I really like the color of this groomer and like the little bag that zips up that can carry all the attachments. I also like that it is rechargeable and doesn't eat up batteries. The problem is that it doesn't get a very close shave. Some of the attachment heads are just useless to me. The foil shaver didn't work at all. The adjustable length guide was just a piece of junk that didn't work and I ended up removing it. It comes with a little detail trimmer and a battery. It didn't work at all. I thought maybe it was just a bad battery and replaced it with one brand new from a package that I had at home. It still didn't work. I just accepted the fact that I would not be using the detail trimmer as it appears to be broken straight out of the box. It states that you can use it wet or dry but I have only used it on dry skin and hair. It is convenient and easy to carry along with you while traveling. I just wish that it gave me a closer shave and the attachments worked better with the groomer.Karla99

I used to have the old series of this trimmer that works with battery for more than 3 years before it quit. I bought this one based on my previous experience.. I'm definitely not the blessed ppl with hair. I have just enough as normal Asian ladies 😁 I only use this trimmer to trim my bikini area and armpit. I would say I'm little bit surprised how this upgraded version not really work better than my old trimmer. I really honestly surprised I have to take off the safety trim guide to make it work. I never had to do that with my old Remington bikini trimmer. I would say, if you wish to trim your body hair, this is not the one you want. You will get disappointed. This is a really nice set. It comes with every adaptor you could need, it also has an adjustable clipper blade that is three different lengths on one piece. And honestlyI think that is my favorite part or is it that this thing is WATERPROOF!?! WHAT??? Yes, you can take this thing in the shower!! I seriously love that. It's also really quiet compared to others I've used before and that is really important. It comes with a cute little zipper bag to hold all of your accessories in and it runs on a rechargeable battery. You just plug it into the wall to recharge when it gets low. Overall, I genuinely love this trimmer. It's super cute, I love the color and it came with a bonus. I don't think you could ask for much more. Great product!!! This is my second one blade so the fact that I ordered another one says it all! As someone with very sensitive, acne and in grown hair prone skin I was never able to shave using the traditional razor and shaving cream method. I have tried out many hand held razors from cheap to very expensive but none of them lasted more than a few months never mind an entire year. I saw the one blade at my local pharmacy and decided to try it as I’ve had decent success with norelco in the past. This was the shaver I’ve needed and wanted all my life! The flat head design ensures stability while shaving and also makes it incredibly easy to shape my beard, side burns etc. What I love the most about the one blade is that it shaves the skin pretty much as close as a regular razor without the “side effects” of a traditional razor. No longer do I suffer with acne, razor bumps or irritation after shaving. This new one blade greatly improves upon the first iteration in the design of the guides and charging stand. The first one had individual length guides that didn’t really stay on that well and no charging base. I love the design of this new model because the guide stays on even while trimming the jawline and the lcd screen shows how much charge is left. For how small this thing is it has always held a charge very well. I shave about every week-ish and a full charge lasts about a month depending on how much I shave. The disposable heads last a long time as well given I tidy-up the thicker hair of the torso and below the belt, using a separate blade of course. My first one blade has lasted me over 3 years and it would probably still work if I didn’t drop it so much. To sum up my review, if anyone has had the same issues as I have using a traditional razor than I implore you to give this a try! Your skin will thank you!JNYC

I have always struggled with shavers, I am fair haired and my beard grows slowly so I usually go clean shaven but recently I have tried some different lengths of beard. With this Oneblade Pro I can manage the length easily, the guard comes with an adjustable comb so you can set it between 0.5 and 10mm, the best bit about that is it adjusts so simply with a turn of the wheel, the numbers are nice and clear so it's easy to set where you want it and it also doesn't move while shaving so you get a good even shave. I have attached a couple of photos, when I heard I was getting this I let my beard grow out so it was pretty long and untamed, for the first try I basically took it all off with a combination of using the guard and then removing it for a smooth finish, you can see the difference and it was an effortless shave no fuss and a nice smooth face. Battery life wise it's great so far, charged up once, used every day for a week and it's still going strong, I am guessing it will need charging soon but I can't complain at all. It is comfortable in the hand and us really sinple to use, the rotating head makes shaving so easy and it follows the contours of your face very well. It.comes with an extra blade for body shaving which I haven't used yet but its good to have the option. It comes with a standard 2 pin shaving plug for the bathroom socket and the lead is long enough to not cause any issues. It's much better for me than having to use a beard trimmer if I want to have some decent stubble and have a separate razor for when I want to be clean shaved, this does both really well and I would recommend it to anyone.Mooseman34

I will start this review by saying that I've exclusively used electric razors basically since I discovered what they were after I started shaving. I've used many different types and qualities over the years to varying levels of success. Unfortunately, the Philips Norelco Oneblade Pro fails to live up to the hype. In concept, the idea is interesting and unique, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. To start, the blade touts itself as being able to handle all lengths of hair, and I had gone almost 2 weeks without a shave (which is uncommon for me) so I figured what better way to test it. I tend to shave my neck clean and leave a bit of a 2-3 day shadow on my face so that's what I aimed for. While it accomplished this task, it was much more difficult and took much longer than my traditional method. I started with clean saving using the Oneblade without the guard on it, and it does well enough, although since it only cuts along the top and bottom edges, I found covering large flat areas to be a bit of an interesting experience. Since it doesn't cut directly under the flat middle part of the blade, you have to be sure there is room to move the blade up and down around it without cutting hair you don't want cut. The angle of the blade on the base does not lend itself to this experience. Trying to angle it without flipping it over is nearly impossible, and flipping it over means the teeth of the blade are directly against your skin. Fortunately the rounded edges do save you from any terrible mishaps, but it still does not lend itself to a very easy shaving experience. Once I finished the clean shaven portion of my neck, I attached the comb and set it to '3' (which I imagine is something akin to 3mm of my old Philips Norelco comb. It does manage to keep a consistent 3mm cut throughout, but it's like taking a weed-eater to a full yard of 5ft weeds. Yes, it CAN do it, but it does not do it well. As the blades cut the hair, it would just pile up and jam into the top of the comb until the comb and blades so full of hair they could no longer reach my face, and instead required me to remove the comb, tap out the hair and brush off the blades. The other strange thing about this design is that with the comb installed, only one of the two cutting edges is in use, which means if you only ever use it with the comb installed, or mostly use it with the comb installed, you will dull one side of the blade much sooner than the other. The blade cannot be flipped over to allow you a fresh cutting edge on the side that you use less. One thing I will mentioned about this, is that it is more comfortable than any travel razor I've ever used. So for travel, I would choose it over most other options if you're not willing to pack a bigger or bulkier razor. Bottom line, It will accomplish what it set out to do, but unfortunately it does not do any of those things well. It's comfortable, if a little strange to use and does not nick or cut the skin even if you have to use it at strange angles. But for the same tasks there are better options.Beradon

This was a really nice looking razor in the package…but once I got it opened and I realized what I had purchsed, I was mad (before I had even tried it I was disappointed). The razor itself had everything going for it, but it just didnt come together the way they planned or something. The first thing that I noticed after letting this charge ALL DAY…was that the thing was bogging down and dying on me half way through my first leg. It continues to disappoint as far as battery life and use time in between shaving. While it was going full speed though (which was not long) it did an alright job…nothing too great or impressive. I noticed that it left stubbal as well as did not feel good rubbing against the skin on my leg. The replacement blades for this cost almost three times as much as I paid for the razor. At that price…its way cheaper to buy disposables or a manual razor with replaceable cartridges…and if you are not big on shaving…Veet is always another option…bottom line, this is not a good razor. One thing I have notcied about ladies' razors in general…they just arent sharp enough (this one was no exception) If you are set on an electric razor, I would look in the mne's section. You will get a much better shave with less irritation and trouble…which this razor seems to provide plenty of all by itself. On the other hand, if you can deal with the things mentioned above…and you have some patience…it is a pretty cheap buy for an electric razor.kwlasvegas

I have had this razor for 6 years ,and to this day this razor still works wonderful. I have only had to replace the replacement piece once, and they say you need to change a lot more often. I use it dry or in the shower and works really good. I always keep in charged and ready to use anytime I need it. Light weight, nice grip and easy to use. It's easy on your skin and I have sensative skin and it doesn't irratate my legs. It is easy to clean and comes in it's own pouch with a cleaning brush to keep clean. Very easy to put back together, replacement piece for the razor part of itself pays for itself, for me at least because it seems to last longer then what they think it will. This is a great razor for any age and all skin types, I think the price of itself paid off. I would truly recommend this to anything even teens that are beginning to shave, it's wonderful because you don't have to worry about cuttying yourself like a normal razor does, at least I myself haven't cut myself using this Razor!NancyMitchell

This product was not one of my finer purchases. The first time i used this, I had a hard time actually getting the hair to come off. It did not actually shave my legs. It pulled the hairs and they got caught. After fiddling with it for awhile, I finally got half of my legs shaved and then I decided to call it quits. Then i tried to take off the top part to empty it and I couldn't get it to come off. It was pretty difficult to use. I would like to call this product an inconvenience. I would prefer to use a regular razor that is pretty literal and shaves the hair as it's supposed to. I would not reccommend buying this product. The worst part was the amount of money i spent on it and then i didn't really get any use out of it. It was money flushed down the toilet. I guess you get what you pay for since this was only $30. It BARELY cuts any hair. It’s taken several (like a lot) of passes to even get the small, 2 day old stubble out of my underarms. Even cut a skin tag/mole in the process. The bikini trimmer attachment is useless also. I don’t know if the blades/foils are too far away from the inside part, but something just isn’t right with the design of this thing. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before buying it.Amethyst2282

This is my first electric razor. It's easy to charge and set up to use. It's definitely better than scissors and faster than a razor. That said, the head is rather thick so it's hard to get into nooks and crannies. Also, if the hair is longer, the razor doesn't get it as easily so you miss a lot of spots and have to go back over. My best results have just been with trimming or with doing a pre-shave or clip. The best function is the battery life, which lasts a surprisingly long time. Overall, not bad for a simple affordable option. And it's pink!savvy

This electric razor is garbage and not worth the money. It worked okay at first but never gave a very close shave and even without the guard. It also nicked me at least twice. I had it for about 5 months when I tried to charge it for the third or fourth time since purchasing it and it just didn’t work anymore. I am one of those women that shave every day to keep my legs smooth. I was offered the Remington Smooth Glide rechargeable shaver to try in exchange for my honest review and was very excited to test it out. I love the fact that this shaver can be used dry or in the shower with shaving cream and that it comes with an edger and trimmer to help cut down longer hair so that the shaver can get a closer cut. The first time I tried using this shaver, I tried it in the shower with shaving cream. As I mentioned before, I shave daily, so I didn't have long hair, just some stubble. I found it a little difficult at first to get it to cut the stubble and make my legs feel smooth. I had to do several passes over different areas of my legs to get it to finally feel smooth but since I was just getting used to using it, I chalked it up to needing more practice. It seemed that the shaver wasn't able to get close enough to my skin to cut the stubble due to the cream so I tried again later with it on dry skin. The shaver easily glides over the bumps and grooves and doesn't feel like it is pulling the hair. I didn't get any type of razor burn or irritation when using it dry. While it can take a few tries to get the hair to cut close to the skin, in the end, I had a smooth shave. The shaver also worked very well with my underarms. The charging stand offers a convenient way to store and charge the shaver so it is always ready for use. The charge also seems to last a long time. While I am still getting used to how hard I need to press down and how to angle the shaver to get a close shave, each time I use it my shave gets better. I will continue to use this as an easy, quick way to have smooth skin all year long.srm273

I had been using a men's razor with triple rotating heads. It missed so much hair I had to go over the same spot multiple times. This razor is very efficient. Once or twice over a spot and my legs are smooth. It's easy to hang onto. I'm very happy I chose this razor. I have not tried it in the shower yet, but dry shaving has been so easy! I bought a $10 bikini trimmer at a bargain store about a decade ago. It became my absolute favorite HG trimmer that never failed me. I could literally have my whole area done in 5 minutes, and felt smooth as a baby's bum. No pain or dealing with the horrible after-shaving itchies/ingrowns. Good times. It finally died and since then, I've bought countless trimmers from cheap to expensive hoping to find one that matched up to that cheap trimmer but had no luck. I had such a bad experience with one that it nearly turned me off to these trimmers. It nicked and pulled hairs/skin and I became so scared to use it I just went to waxing which is not fun and a monthly expense I didn't want to afford. Finally took a chance on this one despite the mediocre reviews and I'm SO GLAD. this is it! If you're looking for something ten times better than shaving (no itching, ingrown hairs, etc) and something that is the next best thing to the smoothness of waxing, this is it. It's completely painless, you can apply a lot of pressure to really get the hairs at the base and it will never pull hair or nick skin. You can get into the hard-to-reach areas with ease. The hair also grows back thinner for whatever reason. It's truly magical and that's why I'm here writing a ridiculously long review on how life-changing it is. You're welcome 🙂Bree

Pros – Excellent razor. Closest shave I have ever had. Fast and easy shave due to excellent blades. Cons – Requires a bit of maintenance. You need to run the “cleaning program” every day (personally I do it every other day). Some water and a cleaning solution shoots up into the case and cleans the razor once activated (1 pack of solution is provided for one month – available on Amazon sold as a pack for a reasonable price). This seemed like a bit of a pain at first, especially changing the solution every month, but the razor looks brand new and is working like it was just out of box many months later, so I think it’s worth it. Note – the first ten minutes of the cleaning process are VERY NOISY. The last 60 or so of the drying process aren’t too bad. Don’t expect to clean this razor before you head off to work if your partner is within 25 yards. It’s like waking up to someone vacuuming your pillow.Kayak4

The Panasonic Arc 5 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver with Self-cleaning recharger is outstanding. I've used safety razors for years and decided to try and electric. The Panasonic was the best choice!! If you've been using blades it takes around a month for your face to adapt to an electric but after that time using the electric is great!! Especially with the Self-cleaning recharger. It keeps your razor clean and charged so you always get a great shave. Be sure you read all the instructions so you can get the most from your razor.Steve

I have been using this shaver for 2 years now primarily for bald head shaving. I have also found it very useful for neck shaving since I have a heard. The pop up trimmer is very sharp and precise. I use the pop up trimmer just above my top lip to straighten out my beard. This pop up trimmer is my go-to for precise trimmer when I need it as it is sharper than my other beard trimmers. This trimmer is very powerful, long battery life and my favourite part is the cleaning station. All you have to do after a shave is use a brush to remove the hair from the cutting blades, then drop it in the cleaning station and walk away… Excellent. I had a problem with the cleaning station and I was near the 2 year exchange warranty. I highly recommend contacting panasonic directly for this. I contacted best buy and they maintained it's only a 1 year warranty. It is NOT, it's definitely a 2 year warranty. They just shipped me a brand new replacement unit. Awesome!!Anonymous

Another great rotary in Philips' lineup. This series does solve the issue of many complaints regarding the detachable trimmer and heads of other Philips shavers – it has the traditional flip-top head and pop-up trimmer. This adds to the bulk of the shaver, body and head, but precludes having to keep track of a separate trimmer and remove the head for cleaning, and it works reasonably well, although for me the trimmer isn't quite as effective as the SmartClick attachments for the Series 9000 shavers. The ComfortGlide Rings really are effective, and provide a frictionless shave, although in this model they are slightly larger than the Anti-Friction rings of the S7940 for example, and require some maneuvering to get around tight areas. The Quick Clean pods use the same cleaning solution as the SmartClean cartridges for the SmartClean stations, which is excellent for cleaning and lubricating the shaver. The Quick Clean Pod is unpowered however, and uses the shaver's power, reducing it by about 1 percent per cleaning, although on a positive note doesn't require cords or cables and is more compact – actually usable for travel. The GroomTribe app is the Achilles Heel of all these Bluetooth shavers, and in particular this model (S7782), because there's no information regarding this particular shaver – the app seems exclusively to recognize only the S7940 shaver. On the plus side, the S7782 will connect, and it does record the shaving time and the percentage of rotation (which improves shaving efficiency), although the motion sensor algorithm in the shaver appears not to recognize the correct rotational movement about half the time. The good news is you don't actually need the app, and this shaver has an LED screen that provides all the essential information about the shaver, including battery life, cleaning information and the previously mentioned inaccurate rotation statistics. The shaving heads (SH71/52) only have a single cutting ring, but actually are comfortable and provide a very close shave. Overall, an excellent rotary from Philips, that provides a close, comfortable shave, warts and all, with the potential to improve with software updates to the app. Recommended.S7782

The Norelco S7000 is a very great shaver and I do recommend this electric shaver to all men especially men with sensitive skin which I have and I’m 50 years old and I have been searching for a shaver electric or not and it will not make my neck red or razor bumps. The reason why I’m giving my purchase review is because it came with a defective battery it won’t hold a charge for that long as Norelco says that it should. So I contacted the manufacture and told them of this and they mailed me a replacement shaver of the same type and the replacement does hold a charge unlike the first one that I bought. And if you have sensitive scan on your neck and when you shave you get a red neck from a razor and bumps then you really need to buy either the S7000 or the S9000 cause I can shave dry and I get awesome results and no redness or bumps and you would want to get the electric Norelco shaver that you can clean it using a cleaning pod. I will never go back to razor’s ever again and when I have wore it out I will buy another one. I did buy the S9000 because it comes with double the blades but either electric shaver will give you a very smooth clean shave.Baylein

I grew up with and have used Norelco rotary shavers and body groom tools all my adult life. My old one, probably close to 20 years now, still works but there is no availability of replacement heads anymore and some wear finally. This is an excellent shaver and I am very happy I got it. I considered the 3000 and 5000 series, but 3000 seems to use lower end heads, and while the 5000 uses the same as this, the hard travel case is essential to me and purchased as a separate accessory brings the cost close enough that it was worth it to just get the higher end kit. The shave is great; I haven't yet tried out the cleaning pod. The shaver cleans very well under running water following the instructions. I also have some extras from my previous Philips/Norelco products that I use with this, such as combs, cleaning brushes and a spare charger.Chris_P

I have used non electric back shavers before and they were worthless. After reviewing this Mangroomer pro cordless on many forums I purchased this at a great Walmart low price. It's well designed, good grip with rubberized handle. It's rechargeable cordless design is great and it works great. With the multiple angles of the extension handle I was easily able to get every nook and cranny of my back hair, shoulders, with ease. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to keep your whole body trimmed.Tonyzany23

I am not new to using a small clipper. I so I think I know what I am talking about. I was shocked how cheep it felt in my hand. Seems like it has no real strength to it. I truly wonder how long it will last. Be sure to never drop it, or it will be gone. It did trim the hair off my back, but then my back hair is very fine. And I did manage to scrap myself up a bit too. Another thing I was shocked about, when it's is on charge, it wont run. So when the batteries die you cant just plug it in and keep using it. And you cant take it apart to put in new ones. But that do tell you how to take out the circuit board with the batteries on it to toss it out. For what I paid for it I thought it would be much better. So I will use it till it goes and then get the cheaper one. All it really is, is the edge trimmer on an electric shaver on a stick. If you have one, you know how they last. Be sure to keep it oiled and clean it every time you use it…. One last thing, it does work me, but I just wonder for how long…..2011jakecarl

I bought one of these a while ago and it was excellent. Rechargeable and solidly built. And it made short work of my hairy back making me no longer looking like I had escaped from the zoo. Alas it got blunt over the years and on seeing the price of the replacement blades it made good sense to order a brand new replacement. I thought I was buying the same again but this new Mangroomer is a pale imitation. Made by the same company and costing the same it's a far inferior product. It's much lighter and has no real weight to it making it harder to use. The weaker joints mean that it won't stay in position plus it is now battery operated not rechargeable. Luckily I used the cutting blade of the new one to revamp my old one so I'm still not being hassled by zoo keepers.afrocub

This is a great shaver/trimmer. I was super surprised for the price. I have tried several Remington shavers, even some more expensive than this with terrible results. This shaver gives you no nicks and it shaves down the hairs to 1/8 of an inch! Several reviews have said it isn't a close enough shave with the head attachment on but any closer and all the hair would be shaved off. Make sure to read the instruction book because it tells you how to hold the shaver correctly for the best shave. You also can use the trimmer with the head attachment off. Definitely recommend this shaver to people who are either 1) not interested in being totally bare or 2) people who want to get the hair trimmed closer to either shave or wax the rest off.Emily-LouBob

I am unfortunately unable to provide a full review of the product as I was unable to use it in the condition it was sent to me. I noticed that the box had some minor damage/wear suggesting it had been open before. Upon closer inspection of the blade, I noticed a few very small bits of hair/fuzz. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. I immediately contacted Ulta and received the automated response to expect a reply within 24 hours. Over a day later, still no response. I want to give Ulta the benefit of the doubt, as it is a pretty horrible thing to deceptively return such a product and claim it was never used. The hairs are faint so I could understand how they may have been overlooked, but still I would hope more care would be given, especially given the nature of the product. In my opinion, a product of this nature should always be final sale, barring mechanical defects that prevent it from functioning to begin with. I live over an hour away from my most convenient Ulta store, and it is proving to be a hassle to get this exchanged. I never anticipated I would need to send the product back or bring it into store, because even if I was disappointed with the performance, I wouldn't return it after using it. Other than not being able to use it!–the quality seems pretty much in line with what I expected, perfectly acceptable for the price range.Kate

After reading several reviews on trimmers I decided to purchase this one. Great choice! I prefer a really close trim instead of a bald shave down there. I used the guard on the shortest setting and it trims the hair down to an 1/8 of an inch. The stubble it leaves is not scratchy at all. My husband loves the look and feel afterwards. The settings on the guard are great for first time trimmers with a large volume of hair. Start on setting 5 and work your way down to 1. Quick and easy to use with no nicks or snags. I would suggest reading the instructions prior to use for the best results. Would definitely recommend this product.Plesantly Pleased

The product pictured and described on the Ulta app is The item pictured / described on the Ulta App is not the same item I received. The shaver came earlier today. It has ONE shaving head not two. There is NO charging base, only a plug in wall charger. When I called customer service they could not tell me if the replacement item they are sending will actually be the two head shaver with a charging base. ((Why?!?)) I guess I'll have to wait for another 7-10 days for my "maybe it is, maybe it's not" the right item to arrive.Wendy

Bought for in store pick-up. I was provided a completely different razor that does not come with a base. The color around the button is solid pink and not white. And it has a dofferent head. All other stores sell that version along with the one advertised here. The employee berated my husband telling him he does not know anything that this is the new and improved model she provided us in our order. That it does not matter that it does not come with a base or that the head only has a single blade. Tried to shove a razor that elsewhere sells down my hsubands throat for $10 that does not match the product they list here (elsewhwre also sells this razor and it is the same price). Just lost a long time customer. Do not try to pawn off cheap products by advertising something else and stating what you are giving them is just a new version (when it is not.)SarHD

I WOULD be leaving 5 stars on this, because I absolutely loved my Manscaped trimmer. Until I bought TWO and both broke. Spent around $200 now. First time, bought and loved it. I used it till I died. Then I went to charge it and it lit up for a while, came back and whole thing was dead. I was like damn okay maybe I over charged it or got water in it on accident. Bought a new one. When it died this time I was EXTRA careful. I let it sit out for two days to dry before charging. I only let it charge for 20 minutes at a time. SAME THING HAPPENED. Neither charger nor device will work, on either set now and I’m so bummed and frustrated that I wasted all this money.Hannah McCoy

Have used this for almost a year now and really love it. The battery life is super long. The LED light is an essential, you know downstairs isn't always well lit. Waterproof is perfection, why get hair on your floor when you can let it go down the drain. The guards are essential, virtually impossible to cut yourself with one in place. It fits my hand perfectly and is surprisingly lightweight. The charger stand (wireless charging) uses a standard USB-C connector, so no worries if you lose the adapter included. Charging is fast and easy, The concept of a separate trimmer for upstairs beard and another for downstairs just makes too much sense. So if you are going for smooth look – the Manscaped razor is fantastic and works perfectly. However, unless the hair is about 1/4 inch or less, the razor plugs up really fast. The mower takes care of that. Pre-trim with the mower, then hit it with the razor. Overall, this thing is a great tool, designed for a very specific purpose.BinkyBarns

The lawn mower 4.0 touts ceramic skin safe blades that don’t cut or knick the skin. Completely false claim. Every single time I trim downstairs I get cut multiple times. The trimmer DOES NOT trim as close to the skin as they claim. A $20 Norelco trimmer actually trims closer to the skin. I can use the lawn mower & follow up with the Norelco & still trim shorter than the lawn mower by itself. Your trim area has to be silky smooth before u use this lawn mower or it will catch the skin every time without fail & cut you. Every time. Manscaped products are amazing for what they’re designed for. The lawn mower is a nice trimmer. It just doesn’t trim as close as they claim & it will cut your skin. Their claims on their website are just a sales pitch bullshit claim. They know it doesn’t trim to the skin. They know the damn thing will cut you. They know this & they care nothing about it. Just shut your mouth, spend $100 on the trimmer & you will believe what we tell you. I’d provide pics if they weren’t pics of downstairs. I have 3 cuts right now & still can’t get close to the skin.
