The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. The Balder Pro does such a great job under my chin and neck area with absolutely no pulling or nicks. Another impressive feature is cleaning is so easy, since I rinse it under the shower while shaving, that when I removed the head to deep clean it, there was hardly any residue, shaving cream or hair. However, my preliminary review is as follows:I have shaved 4 times, roughly every three days seems a good routine for me. I am greatly surprised at how quick and easy it is to shave. You could likely manage to shave without looking, while watching a movie. I have tried both wet and dry shaving, and both were equally easy; depends on your preference. The first time I shaved I did quickly, perhaps 2 minutes. But I prefer going slower and taking my time. I actually timed myself at 4 minutes, which is lightning fast compared to shaving with a straight razor.Regarding the smoothness of the shave, it is a little smoother than sandpaper. I have always used a safety razor since my days in college but got tired of the old-man, bald-on-top, fringed-sidewalls look, so went for the bowling-ball cut. "I've been shaving my head for about a decade, and was getting tired of my old Wahl razor (which also plugged in). After looking at some reviews, I found this one–everything seemed great until I tried to use it.The first time I put this thing on my head, I had to rip it away–I felt tons of tiny little pain points, and I thought for sure something was wrong with the razor, and that it had cut up my head. I have always been leary of buying an electric razor. However, over the past few years the cost of razor blades has skyrocketed and the quality of shave has deteriorated just as fast. I was tired of paying for razors that gave you a lousy shave. I was in the military and I know what a close shave is supposed to feel like. I took the plunge and purchased this razor. This razor has worked really well. The quality and closeness of shave is equal to anything I could get from a disposable razor. It takes a couple of weeks for your face to get used to shaving with an electric razor. It has been almost a month since I purchased the razor and I no longer feel any irritation at all. It is very easy to clean and the charge lasts for weeks. I will not back to using high priced low quality razors. I have long used cartridge razors, but no more. I’ll preface this with I have sensitive skin and prone to ingrown hairs & razor bumps. I used this in both my face and legs, and it’s the smoothest, least irritated my skin has ever been. Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver – super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers. I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard – they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful – doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower. Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave. It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave. It's also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I'd like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. i liked the design and the concept of the trimmer… and I realized before i bought it that i would have to spend money before i found out if it was any good. But such is life, and it does look pretty nifty. Searching reviews wasn’t doing any good, nor were review videos off youtube. Every video and review online is sponsored by Philips, and they’ve cornered the market. Every “review” sounds like a infomertial. You just can’t get an honest opinion. So screw it- i just bought one with trepidation.
It’s been a year since then, and here’s my opinion for what it’s worth. The Philips OneBlade is JUNK! To begin with, i shave my face AND head and do so regularly. However, with three days growth, the blade wasn’t able to make it all the way through without being replaced- straight out the box.
The kicker? It has a 3 month shelf life before it won’t charge enough for a shave. That’s right, i’m on number four because they quit charging. All of them. Even now, i’m headed to court in a suit and tie, and half my face is shaved. the other half has a weeks growth from a holiday. I look like an idiot.
Try googling “OneBlade won’t Charge” and watch a new world open up before you. Thousands of people also have this issue, not to mention blade life when they cost a fortune.

Nothin beats an all in one face shaver when you don’t have to go back and forth between different styles of razor's. Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face has precise accuracy and gets a very close shave! I love how close it gets without having to use a straight razor. The blade and head of the shaver runs close to the skin to catch the smallest hairs and leaves it baby soft. I was surprised at how well it did with only one pass and hands down will use this one for every shave. Phillips designed this product with shaving in mind and in my several uses, I have yet to see the normal cuts you would get with a regular razor. My favorite part is how the blades line up my beard so easily without frustration. The slim design is easy to see around and fits in a travel bag perfectly. First time I used Oneblade I was amazed. Still today I use it almost always over other 3 types of razor I have. Razor(5 blade), trim razor rechargeable, and electric 3 head rechargeable are the three. They all work fine but the Oneblade does the job so much better. This is one of those products that you hope the manufacture doesn't ever discontinue. It is like nothing I have tried before, until you try you will not understand. I know I should tell you how smooth it is, how close it cuts, how it never cuts you, and it is amazing ability to get those curved areas of the face as easy as anything. If you purchase it and you do not like it I give, well it is not my product. But the faith in it is that strong you could put your promise on the product. Nothing worse than a company praying you don’t read the smaller text. I was unfortunate enough to buy in store to find out that the 100% waterproof is only for cleaning. Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I've tried many of these head shavers over the last few years with various results. The Pitbull has been the best of them by far and for a few reasons. First, the overall performance. I shave my head every fourth day and have always had issues with these electric razors not being able to pick up the hair on the very back of my head, where it still grows in relatively thick. The Pitbull doesn't seem to struggle nearly as much to actually pick up and cut the hair there. Second – Ease of cleaning. Because the whole blade assembly pops off, it makes it very easy to rinse out the heads. Others i've tried that only flip open and don't easily detach are much more difficult to clean. The worst offender of this was the Freedom grooming razor. That one had 4 separate heads to open and then a center head that is supposed to unlock and open but the whole cleaning process took almost as long as the shave. Third: Hair storage. There is plenty of space under the blades to shave your entire head, even with four days of growth, without needing to stop and empty it. Others i've tried didn't seem to take this into account… again with Freedom Grooming being the worst offender with only a tiny ring of space for hair under each head. I don't want to stop halfway through to clean out the hair. Finally, overall build quality and ergonomics seem spot on. I also like that you can see what percentage of battery you have left instead of just an led light. Overall, this was more than I wanted to spend on a head shaver, but at the end of the day, when it's a product you're going to use hundreds if not thousands of times, it's worth the cost to get something that performs well.Kyle B.
Honest and truly I've been shaving my head with a razor like a knub for the past 2 years dealing with razor burn every two days having my whole head look like I just got attacked by a swarm of angry Hornets. I brush my teeth and shave my head every morning. It takes me less time to shave my head than it does to brush my teeth. Extremely easy to maintain. Multiple shaving heads available unlike other brands. Super super easy to clean. And the best part you don't have to worry about some flesh eating bacteria that's living on your razor blade entering your body from a tiniest Little knick that will eat half of the skin off your head. And along those lines you don't have to worry about slipping wrong position of the blade. Just rub this skull conforming device around your head for just a few seconds and you're good to go. And the cool thing is at the end of the day when you got a little 5:00 shadow on your head going on and makes you look a little bit more rugged and that much more dashing and handsome. It’s awesome. I accepted my inevitable baldness two years ago but never out thought into how to truly shave my head—-like many, I just used my cheap electric razor…which I thought worked fine, until I discovered this amazing tool! I shave my head in like three minutes instead of fifteen, and there’s zero hair on the floor/bathtub after because this thing catches all the hair. Best of all, my head is incredibly smooth—like honestly, I had no idea my head could feel so smooth. I used to have little cuts and flakes on my head but this thing smoothed them all out. There’s no flakes, no hair, just smooth bald skin. It doesn’t hurt my head at all. However, I’ve been disappointed by how it irritates my neck. I have very sensitive skin below my chin and each time I’ve used this shaver there, it results in red scarred skin and razor burn/bumps that hurt. Never on my head, just the neck. I may later buy the blade they sell for sensitive skin to try that (I really wish that could have just come standard with the shaver, like I wish I could choose blades instead of only having one option). But until then, I can’t use this below my chin since it breaks out in red bumps and pain—even when I use shaving cream. But that’s only 5% of my shaving need. The other 95%, my head, is shaved masterfully and quickly and painlessly by this shaver. It’s so quick! Loving it. I purchased this shaver 07/09/2022. i took it home and started charging it, I couldn't wait to try it out so I used it in cord mode. I have tried the Mach 5 and a Braun version. While the Mach 5 produces a good close shave, it takes me 20 to 30 minutes of shaving to achieve that. Plus I have to use a lubricant while shaving to achieve the best shave. I used this new Babyliss shaver with no lubricant on my head and it literally took less than 3 minutes and it's the best shave I've had. it's nice and rugged metal, all others I have used have been plastic. It has definitely been the cheapest shaver I have tried. I was skeptical from reading some of the reviews, I do have more of a coarse hair which one of the reviews mentions getting results from. If you have coarse hair and want a great shave, I totally recommend this shaver! I'm not saying it won't do fine hair, I am just not a good test for that.Chris M.

This is a great, Great Razor!!! It must be charged for the night or a few hours when you first get it though. You don't need to leave it plugged in though. Once it has been charged fully, you will have several days worth of power. It is very quiet, it gives a really close shave and it is really smooth on the face. The Good: Great feel, grip, shave, ease of cleaning, quick charge time, trimmer is handy for sideburns to shape them up between haircuts. The Bad: I have now gone through two of these in about 2 years….the first lasted about 18 mos, the second, about 5. Problem? For whatever reason, after awhile, it will not charge. I also use shaving cream when I get out of the shower and use the razor, rinse it before, during and after use….and always and I mean always, after the period of time, you get up, plug it in, go in the shower, come out, dead. It won't charge. My guess? The Lithium Ion Batts. While ALL batteries have a lifespan, they should be much longer thant this. I rinse the head during shaving (shaving cream buildup and hair) 2-3 times while shaving paying attention to let the water drain down 90-95%….I don't think it's water intrusion….as deep as this thing goes is running it under the faucet head down? I used both the old and new charger….the new one shows all power lights on for about 2-3 seconds, goes dim, dead……there is something about these batteries that are not right….I am off to Walmart this mornign to get a 3rd in less than 3 years THIS time WITH the cheap warranty…..I have used Brauns for over 30 years and the batteries always seem to be the issue…do NOT pack them in luggage that will go in the cargo hold or you will find them dead, not chargeable when you get to your destination…this one is ONLY used at home. I take a cheap corded Braun on the road and it's about 20 years old now, still works but it's a dry shave…irritating…….I like the ability to use shaving cream for a much more comfortable shave but, this battery thing is aggravating…..over the 30 years I have gone through multiple 3, 5, 7 and 9 series razors…they ALL have battery failures eventually…so you end up buying a new one…..why? Because the other brands suck MORE. I have had Remington, Norelco (couldn't shave close with a gun to it's head), Chinese knockoffs even a small cordless from Harbor Freight that despite is size and slow speed delivered a great shave until it quit working…..it seems that if a rechargeable battery is run for 20 mins a day max, 6-7 days a week, it SHOULD last more than 6 months….never dropped, never abused, always left open on the counter after rinsing to let the head and razor dry after separated….still died….ridiculous…..I only hope the warranty is worth something when the next one croaks….no warning either….just dies…..still the best brand overall….Terry
I've never really liked wet dry shavers but this one changed my mind. it shaves flawless and leaves you face as smooth as using a traditional razor. i love that it's wireless and it charges very quickly and stays charged for a great amount of time. and cleaning is a breeze with the included brush and removable heads. you can also remove the head and run it under water for a deep clean. all around this is and excellent shaver.James

This shaver is small and compact. It does come with a manual but I just plugged it in. Not reading I figured out hours later this was not a wireless shaver. Mistake on my end. So I went to the bathroom and slide the switch upwards to turn it on. Immediately the rotary heads start to move. I put this on my face and went in a circular motion. I had to go over hairs several time for it to cut. I also noticed this gets a little warm while using it. To turn it off just slide the switch downwards. It does come with a little cleaning brush. To clean this is super easy just pop the head off. I personally didnt care for this shaver. I didnt like how it struggled to cut the hair on my face. This was my second experience using an electric shaver and I'm really impressed as my first time was an epic fail. First off, the R50 Rotary Shaver is easy to hold which is a plus to me. Being used to a standard blade razor I wasn't sure I'd get a close shave because I have thick facial hair. The R50 Series Rotary Shaver was easy to move over my face and the 3 rotating heads removed the hair faster and covered a larger area. The fact that it holds the beard hairs inside the shaver is a huge bonus. (No more cleaning the sink after I'm done!) It comes with a cord which I thought would be in the way but surprisingly, the cord was long enough so it wasn't a problem. I like that my skin didn't feel rough or irritated when I was done. Having a smooth, close shave like I'm used is great. No stubble or unshaven areas and it's quiet too. Definitely will be using this from now on and keeping the old blades in the closet!trlmrc

I bought this item off of TikTok to purchase for my husband for Christmas. It was $65 which I felt was way overpriced but whatever we’ll see if it’s a good razor. So it ended up giving my husband pimples on his face which he never gets and ingrown hairs. So surprise! A month later my account is charged for an an additional $18.75 for which I didn’t authorize. So I dispute the charge on PayPal and they deny is saying it was an authorized charge. So I had to email the company and find out why they charged my account and they proceed to tell me when I purchased the razor I signed up for the monthly membership which mind you I never saw, must have been tiny printing. So they sent me a “ refill” got the razor. When I get it I want to return it bc I never wanted this item. It says they don’t pay for shipping returns and they’ll only take the package if unopened and you have to mark the package “refused” or “return to sender” to be eligible for a 50% refund! Also you have to email them you’re returning the package along with the tracking number. So by the time I do all this I would basically have wasted my time and get back a refund in which I basically spent shipping the item back and the gas spent taking it to the post office! As far the unit and the 5 blade shaving attachment I give it 5 stars but very unhappy with the precision trimmer as I occasionally don't keep shaving everyday living in my van and dealing with heart failure and working full-time . So when the first time came to trim the hair down so the shaver could handle the stubble it made about half an inch cut then went through my hair like a comb . Took it apart everything inside the head looked fine reassemble unit and now just an hour ago I'm at the gym for a shave and shower and trimmer attachment did the same cut for half an inch then acted like a comb again .
