Exceeded Expectations! Been Bald shaving for close to 25 years. I've used several different methods from the head blade to regular blades to conventional electric rotary shavers. The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. The Balder Pro does such a great job under my chin and neck area with absolutely no pulling or nicks. Another impressive feature is cleaning is so easy, since I rinse it under the shower while shaving, that when I removed the head to deep clean it, there was hardly any residue, shaving cream or hair. Although my scalp hair has receded over the years, my beard is still quite thick and this thing cuts right through it quickly leaving my face smooth and unirritated. Cannot recommend highly enough! This is a pretty simple rotary shaver. It's dry use only, but does have some perks. The battery life is outstanding, though it does take a while to fully charge. It also comes equipped with a precision tool. This is built in, and easy to open/ close. This tool works well for lining up beards, and sideburns. Now— The main shaver head is decent as far as power goes. It does not get a super close shave, but I've only experienced a super close shave with a straight razor. To use, I find that it has to be moved in slow circular motions, and repeated quite a few time before achieving the shave I want. However, it is a more basic model, with an affordable price tag, so this is expected. The performance is on par with the price. Cleaning the shaver is also very easy. There's a handy thumb button on the head. Simply push the button and lift the head. The shaver will open, and the hair can be tapped out. If you can't seem to get it all, I'd recommend using a soft brush. I have a badger hair brush for my straight razor, I just give the inside a quick swipe and all the hair falls out. REMINGTON PR1335 SHAVER: The GOOD: I bought this razor because the Norelco shaver (even with new heads) pulled at my son's face. (He is disabled and I shave him daily). This razor does a GREAT JOB at not pulling on his face and it shaves very clean. So that's good! THE BAD: It takes 16 hours for a full charge to give 40 minutes of shave time! And you don't find that out until you open the package and read the manual. There is no indication when it's fully charged either. So the Remington brand is highly recommended by me but NOT this particular model: PR 1335. For your info, the model PR 1340 takes 4 hours for a full charge and that provides a 50 minute shave time. The models 1360 and 1385 both take a full charge time of 90 minutes for a 60 minute shave time. The charge light never came on at all the 2nd time it was plugged in. (but as has been said before, it doesn't tell you when the shaver is charged anyway.) I am going to upgrade to one of the other models because 16 hours of charge time is just way too much and I need to know when it's fully charged.Foodie100

This razor is the only electric razor I am happy to say is better than traditional multiblade razors. Why, because i have used this razor now for 3 years, this very model, and if kept clean, it will result in a baby smooth consistent shave across the face, chin, jawline and neck. Used with electric shave face preshave and for the jaw line pulling the skin forwards with 3 fingers before the shaver results in deep shave results. The best thing, no cuts, no bleeding, just lovem smooth skin that the wife loves and deserves. A nice deep clean of the razor is needed about once a month with a dry tooth brush getting every surface inside and out. And that's all it takes to keep this wonderful work of engineering performing like brand new. It recommends new blades once a year, but I have not found the need. Just keep it cleaned and it keeps on going. I have tried cheaper Remington models, and the Norelcos, but they can't paerform like this baby does.FastFreddy

Another great rotary in Philips' lineup. This series does solve the issue of many complaints regarding the detachable trimmer and heads of other Philips shavers – it has the traditional flip-top head and pop-up trimmer. This adds to the bulk of the shaver, body and head, but precludes having to keep track of a separate trimmer and remove the head for cleaning, and it works reasonably well, although for me the trimmer isn't quite as effective as the SmartClick attachments for the Series 9000 shavers. The ComfortGlide Rings really are effective, and provide a frictionless shave, although in this model they are slightly larger than the Anti-Friction rings of the S7940 for example, and require some maneuvering to get around tight areas. The Quick Clean pods use the same cleaning solution as the SmartClean cartridges for the SmartClean stations, which is excellent for cleaning and lubricating the shaver. The Quick Clean Pod is unpowered however, and uses the shaver's power, reducing it by about 1 percent per cleaning, although on a positive note doesn't require cords or cables and is more compact – actually usable for travel. The GroomTribe app is the Achilles Heel of all these Bluetooth shavers, and in particular this model (S7782), because there's no information regarding this particular shaver – the app seems exclusively to recognize only the S7940 shaver. On the plus side, the S7782 will connect, and it does record the shaving time and the percentage of rotation (which improves shaving efficiency), although the motion sensor algorithm in the shaver appears not to recognize the correct rotational movement about half the time. The good news is you don't actually need the app, and this shaver has an LED screen that provides all the essential information about the shaver, including battery life, cleaning information and the previously mentioned inaccurate rotation statistics. The shaving heads (SH71/52) only have a single cutting ring, but actually are comfortable and provide a very close shave. Overall, an excellent rotary from Philips, that provides a close, comfortable shave, warts and all, with the potential to improve with software updates to the app. Recommended.S7782

The Norelco S7000 is a very great shaver and I do recommend this electric shaver to all men especially men with sensitive skin which I have and I’m 50 years old and I have been searching for a shaver electric or not and it will not make my neck red or razor bumps. The reason why I’m giving my purchase review is because it came with a defective battery it won’t hold a charge for that long as Norelco says that it should. So I contacted the manufacture and told them of this and they mailed me a replacement shaver of the same type and the replacement does hold a charge unlike the first one that I bought. And if you have sensitive scan on your neck and when you shave you get a red neck from a razor and bumps then you really need to buy either the S7000 or the S9000 cause I can shave dry and I get awesome results and no redness or bumps and you would want to get the electric Norelco shaver that you can clean it using a cleaning pod. I will never go back to razor’s ever again and when I have wore it out I will buy another one. I did buy the S9000 because it comes with double the blades but either electric shaver will give you a very smooth clean shave.Baylein

I grew up with and have used Norelco rotary shavers and body groom tools all my adult life. My old one, probably close to 20 years now, still works but there is no availability of replacement heads anymore and some wear finally. This is an excellent shaver and I am very happy I got it. I considered the 3000 and 5000 series, but 3000 seems to use lower end heads, and while the 5000 uses the same as this, the hard travel case is essential to me and purchased as a separate accessory brings the cost close enough that it was worth it to just get the higher end kit. The shave is great; I haven't yet tried out the cleaning pod. The shaver cleans very well under running water following the instructions. I also have some extras from my previous Philips/Norelco products that I use with this, such as combs, cleaning brushes and a spare charger.Chris_P

Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver – super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers. I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard – they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful – doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower. Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave. It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave. It's also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I'd like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. If you're in the market for a good electric head shaver that will make shaving easier & quicker, then definitely give this one a go! You won't be disappointed I promise.Elias

I bought the BaldiePro as I had heard many great things from family and friends but I was still a little skeptical. As someone who regulary grooms – I have a lot of experience so here's my review that I hope helps you make an easier buying decision. First, I was pretty much blown away after my first shave and pretty blown away with how close of a shave it provided. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's still performing as it did the first day. It's very easy to hold in your hand, has a high speed motor (10,000 RPM) and a great battery life. One BIG tip is to make sure you give it a good clean after each shave. Just like anything the more you care for it the better it will continue perform. If you don't clean the hair out after each shave it will run at a slower pace. Overall this thing is a beast and will make grooming your bald head SO much EASIER!Carson C.

If you shave your head then you need this item. It gives a razor blade cut without the added worry of cuts on your shiny dome. Your head literally looks polished when you are done so if your aren’t into that then this shaver is not for you. They said in the directions it may take some time getting your skin used to it. For me personally it never bothered my head at all in fact it made the bumps clear up. Also in the directions it says clean well during and after use. I do this religiously and so far I’m on my original blades. It did take once or twice to get comfortable using it because it’s kind of top heavy compared to an old two bladed razor but after a couple of uses I was an old hand. Purchased this hoping to find a quick and easy alternative to only shaving with a blade. Couldn’t wait to try it as soon as it was delivered. It far surpassed my expectations in closeness and comfort on every part of my head, UNTIL… I got to the base of my neck… The included Forte blade chewed my neck up in a way I didn’t know was possible with an electric razor. To the point that my shirt collars had blood on them for a few days. After my neck healed up I decided to give it another try in case I was using too much pressure the first time. Unfortunately I experienced the same results on my neck. I didn’t think I had sensitive skin. I shave my head against the grain with a blade a few times a week and never get razor burn. Decided to give this shaver one more try so I purchased the Baron blade for sensitive skin hoping this would solve the issue. Fortunately, it did and I now love the Platinum Pro. Zero pain or discomfort after using the Baron. If you are still on the fence about purchasing, don’t hesitate. Super close shave, very convenient and easy to use. If you think there might be even a slight chance you have sensitive skin though, get the Baron blade. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is I wish you could choose which blades you wanted in the initial purchase. Other than that, I give the Platinum Pro with the Baron blade 5 stars! At first I thought this would be a gimmick type of purchase. But instead I was pleasantly surprised how nicely designed and effective this shaver really is. The blades cut with accuracy and are very smooth on my scalp. With small circular motions the hair just disappears. The shave is also much closer than I figured it would be which is a huge plus. The battery life is long and visible with the digital display on top. It's easy to rinse with the included rinse stand and just as easy to access the blade compartment for additional rinsing. The only set back is the cost of replacing the blades. That will cost as much as the shaver in a years time. So it is yet to be determined if I continue to purchase them long term. Pros – Excellent razor. Closest shave I have ever had. Fast and easy shave due to excellent blades. Cons – Requires a bit of maintenance. You need to run the “cleaning program” every day (personally I do it every other day). Some water and a cleaning solution shoots up into the case and cleans the razor once activated (1 pack of solution is provided for one month – available on Amazon sold as a pack for a reasonable price). This seemed like a bit of a pain at first, especially changing the solution every month, but the razor looks brand new and is working like it was just out of box many months later, so I think it’s worth it. Note – the first ten minutes of the cleaning process are VERY NOISY. The last 60 or so of the drying process aren’t too bad. Don’t expect to clean this razor before you head off to work if your partner is within 25 yards. It’s like waking up to someone vacuuming your pillow.Kayak4

The Panasonic Arc 5 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver with Self-cleaning recharger is outstanding. I've used safety razors for years and decided to try and electric. The Panasonic was the best choice!! If you've been using blades it takes around a month for your face to adapt to an electric but after that time using the electric is great!! Especially with the Self-cleaning recharger. It keeps your razor clean and charged so you always get a great shave. Be sure you read all the instructions so you can get the most from your razor.Steve

I have been using this shaver for 2 years now primarily for bald head shaving. I have also found it very useful for neck shaving since I have a heard. The pop up trimmer is very sharp and precise. I use the pop up trimmer just above my top lip to straighten out my beard. This pop up trimmer is my go-to for precise trimmer when I need it as it is sharper than my other beard trimmers. This trimmer is very powerful, long battery life and my favourite part is the cleaning station. All you have to do after a shave is use a brush to remove the hair from the cutting blades, then drop it in the cleaning station and walk away… Excellent. I had a problem with the cleaning station and I was near the 2 year exchange warranty. I highly recommend contacting panasonic directly for this. I contacted best buy and they maintained it's only a 1 year warranty. It is NOT, it's definitely a 2 year warranty. They just shipped me a brand new replacement unit. Awesome!!Anonymous

I have used non electric back shavers before and they were worthless. After reviewing this Mangroomer pro cordless on many forums I purchased this at a great Walmart low price. It's well designed, good grip with rubberized handle. It's rechargeable cordless design is great and it works great. With the multiple angles of the extension handle I was easily able to get every nook and cranny of my back hair, shoulders, with ease. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to keep your whole body trimmed.Tonyzany23

I am not new to using a small clipper. I so I think I know what I am talking about. I was shocked how cheep it felt in my hand. Seems like it has no real strength to it. I truly wonder how long it will last. Be sure to never drop it, or it will be gone. It did trim the hair off my back, but then my back hair is very fine. And I did manage to scrap myself up a bit too. Another thing I was shocked about, when it's is on charge, it wont run. So when the batteries die you cant just plug it in and keep using it. And you cant take it apart to put in new ones. But that do tell you how to take out the circuit board with the batteries on it to toss it out. For what I paid for it I thought it would be much better. So I will use it till it goes and then get the cheaper one. All it really is, is the edge trimmer on an electric shaver on a stick. If you have one, you know how they last. Be sure to keep it oiled and clean it every time you use it…. One last thing, it does work me, but I just wonder for how long…..2011jakecarl

I bought one of these a while ago and it was excellent. Rechargeable and solidly built. And it made short work of my hairy back making me no longer looking like I had escaped from the zoo. Alas it got blunt over the years and on seeing the price of the replacement blades it made good sense to order a brand new replacement. I thought I was buying the same again but this new Mangroomer is a pale imitation. Made by the same company and costing the same it's a far inferior product. It's much lighter and has no real weight to it making it harder to use. The weaker joints mean that it won't stay in position plus it is now battery operated not rechargeable. Luckily I used the cutting blade of the new one to revamp my old one so I'm still not being hassled by zoo keepers.afrocub

Nothing worse than a company praying you don’t read the smaller text. I was unfortunate enough to buy in store to find out that the 100% waterproof is only for cleaning. Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. Took forever to get anything off my face which a normal razor could have done 3 times over in the time I tried to use this- and my face still isn’t properly shaven. This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. However, a friend of mine who also sports a beard has used a Braun for years, no issues. For the price I paid for this razor, I thought I'd try. Not sure why this little razor isn't getting more love, maybe people just don't know how to shave. It works darn good. I can shave closer & faster than I can with a blade, no irritation, and it does not destroy my beard lines. I can't imagine how good your expensive models shave, this little guy works well. There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I promise that this razor gives just as close a shave as a standard triple Blade razor.Philip

I have used Norelco for 45 years. I bought a new one for better blades, but soon found an odd problem… I can shave the left cheek, but when I rotate the unit over for the other side of my face, it slows to a stop. If I rotate it in mid air, it starts and stops over and over again, each time it leans to the right. Even if I take the heads off, it stops when it leans to the right. I think this one was just put together wrong. I've had this one for about 10 months. It worked ok for a month or two, but gradually began slowing and stopping even when fully charged. And the heads spin with the blades until they touch your skin. Also, this battery doesn't last as long as the razor I've been using for 20 years (and still using).Dew Master

I've been using these types of Philips Norelco shavers for many years. This recently purchased shaver is the third one in this series. These are the "low-end" Philips shavers, so I don't expect much other than about 2 to 3 years of use before the blades get dull. The first shaver I got was amazingly good in that it shaved smoothly and as close as a blade, with one or two passes. The second one was not as good, but did the job. This third 2500 model is, by comparison, not good. It takes several passes over the face to cut the stubble and it feels rough on the face. Given that it takes longer to do the job exposed another shortcoming: it has a smaller capacity battery than the older models. This is the first time that my shaver actually ran out of power starting from a full charge. It took about 20 minutes to deplete all the charge. Regression in product design is never a good thing. Next time I’ll be looking for a different brand.Maestro

This shaver has MUCH less power than my old Norelco shaver. It struggles to rotate the blades. The side trimmer is pretty much useless as it doesn't move the blades fast enough to cut. The location of the on/off button makes it easy to accidentally turn it on/off while shaving. It also bumps on easily in a suitcase if anything touches it. The good news is that you can use it while plugged in but then what's the use of a "cordless" shaver.ElCapitan

This is my second one blade so the fact that I ordered another one says it all! As someone with very sensitive, acne and in grown hair prone skin I was never able to shave using the traditional razor and shaving cream method. I have tried out many hand held razors from cheap to very expensive but none of them lasted more than a few months never mind an entire year. I saw the one blade at my local pharmacy and decided to try it as I’ve had decent success with norelco in the past. This was the shaver I’ve needed and wanted all my life! The flat head design ensures stability while shaving and also makes it incredibly easy to shape my beard, side burns etc. What I love the most about the one blade is that it shaves the skin pretty much as close as a regular razor without the “side effects” of a traditional razor. No longer do I suffer with acne, razor bumps or irritation after shaving. This new one blade greatly improves upon the first iteration in the design of the guides and charging stand. The first one had individual length guides that didn’t really stay on that well and no charging base. I love the design of this new model because the guide stays on even while trimming the jawline and the lcd screen shows how much charge is left. For how small this thing is it has always held a charge very well. I shave about every week-ish and a full charge lasts about a month depending on how much I shave. The disposable heads last a long time as well given I tidy-up the thicker hair of the torso and below the belt, using a separate blade of course. My first one blade has lasted me over 3 years and it would probably still work if I didn’t drop it so much. To sum up my review, if anyone has had the same issues as I have using a traditional razor than I implore you to give this a try! Your skin will thank you!JNYC

I have always struggled with shavers, I am fair haired and my beard grows slowly so I usually go clean shaven but recently I have tried some different lengths of beard. With this Oneblade Pro I can manage the length easily, the guard comes with an adjustable comb so you can set it between 0.5 and 10mm, the best bit about that is it adjusts so simply with a turn of the wheel, the numbers are nice and clear so it's easy to set where you want it and it also doesn't move while shaving so you get a good even shave. I have attached a couple of photos, when I heard I was getting this I let my beard grow out so it was pretty long and untamed, for the first try I basically took it all off with a combination of using the guard and then removing it for a smooth finish, you can see the difference and it was an effortless shave no fuss and a nice smooth face. Battery life wise it's great so far, charged up once, used every day for a week and it's still going strong, I am guessing it will need charging soon but I can't complain at all. It is comfortable in the hand and us really sinple to use, the rotating head makes shaving so easy and it follows the contours of your face very well. It.comes with an extra blade for body shaving which I haven't used yet but its good to have the option. It comes with a standard 2 pin shaving plug for the bathroom socket and the lead is long enough to not cause any issues. It's much better for me than having to use a beard trimmer if I want to have some decent stubble and have a separate razor for when I want to be clean shaved, this does both really well and I would recommend it to anyone.Mooseman34

I will start this review by saying that I've exclusively used electric razors basically since I discovered what they were after I started shaving. I've used many different types and qualities over the years to varying levels of success. Unfortunately, the Philips Norelco Oneblade Pro fails to live up to the hype. In concept, the idea is interesting and unique, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. To start, the blade touts itself as being able to handle all lengths of hair, and I had gone almost 2 weeks without a shave (which is uncommon for me) so I figured what better way to test it. I tend to shave my neck clean and leave a bit of a 2-3 day shadow on my face so that's what I aimed for. While it accomplished this task, it was much more difficult and took much longer than my traditional method. I started with clean saving using the Oneblade without the guard on it, and it does well enough, although since it only cuts along the top and bottom edges, I found covering large flat areas to be a bit of an interesting experience. Since it doesn't cut directly under the flat middle part of the blade, you have to be sure there is room to move the blade up and down around it without cutting hair you don't want cut. The angle of the blade on the base does not lend itself to this experience. Trying to angle it without flipping it over is nearly impossible, and flipping it over means the teeth of the blade are directly against your skin. Fortunately the rounded edges do save you from any terrible mishaps, but it still does not lend itself to a very easy shaving experience. Once I finished the clean shaven portion of my neck, I attached the comb and set it to '3' (which I imagine is something akin to 3mm of my old Philips Norelco comb. It does manage to keep a consistent 3mm cut throughout, but it's like taking a weed-eater to a full yard of 5ft weeds. Yes, it CAN do it, but it does not do it well. As the blades cut the hair, it would just pile up and jam into the top of the comb until the comb and blades so full of hair they could no longer reach my face, and instead required me to remove the comb, tap out the hair and brush off the blades. The other strange thing about this design is that with the comb installed, only one of the two cutting edges is in use, which means if you only ever use it with the comb installed, or mostly use it with the comb installed, you will dull one side of the blade much sooner than the other. The blade cannot be flipped over to allow you a fresh cutting edge on the side that you use less. One thing I will mentioned about this, is that it is more comfortable than any travel razor I've ever used. So for travel, I would choose it over most other options if you're not willing to pack a bigger or bulkier razor. Bottom line, It will accomplish what it set out to do, but unfortunately it does not do any of those things well. i liked the design and the concept of the trimmer… and I realized before i bought it that i would have to spend money before i found out if it was any good. But such is life, and it does look pretty nifty. Searching reviews wasn’t doing any good, nor were review videos off youtube. Every video and review online is sponsored by Philips, and they’ve cornered the market. Every “review” sounds like a infomertial. You just can’t get an honest opinion. So screw it- i just bought one with trepidation.

It’s been a year since then, and here’s my opinion for what it’s worth. The Philips OneBlade is JUNK! To begin with, i shave my face AND head and do so regularly. However, with three days growth, the blade wasn’t able to make it all the way through without being replaced- straight out the box.

The kicker? It has a 3 month shelf life before it won’t charge enough for a shave. That’s right, i’m on number four because they quit charging. All of them. Even now, i’m headed to court in a suit and tie, and half my face is shaved. the other half has a weeks growth from a holiday. I look like an idiot.

Try googling “OneBlade won’t Charge” and watch a new world open up before you. Thousands of people also have this issue, not to mention blade life when they cost a fortune.

Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face has precise accuracy and gets a very close shave! I love how close it gets without having to use a straight razor. The blade and head of the shaver runs close to the skin to catch the smallest hairs and leaves it baby soft. I was surprised at how well it did with only one pass and hands down will use this one for every shave. Phillips designed this product with shaving in mind and in my several uses, I have yet to see the normal cuts you would get with a regular razor. My favorite part is how the blades line up my beard so easily without frustration. The slim design is easy to see around and fits in a travel bag perfectly. First time I used Oneblade I was amazed. Still today I use it almost always over other 3 types of razor I have. Razor(5 blade), trim razor rechargeable, and electric 3 head rechargeable are the three. They all work fine but the Oneblade does the job so much better. This is one of those products that you hope the manufacture doesn't ever discontinue. It is like nothing I have tried before, until you try you will not understand. I know I should tell you how smooth it is, how close it cuts, how it never cuts you, and it is amazing ability to get those curved areas of the face as easy as anything. If you purchase it and you do not like it I give, well it is not my product. But the faith in it is that strong you could put your promise on the product. Price around $29 is the another reason you can come up with to cause any more delay. I will stop acting silly, seriously a great product. This is from a proud owner of one since spring 2022.Joey

This is my third Braun shaver of this type. I have been using this single foil razor for about nine or ten years. Its inexpensive and shaves my face well. I prefer it to other Braun and Remington razors, all of which cost more and have mutiple shaving heads and cutters. I have to purchase a new one every few years as parts wear out. My first unit had the foil finally breakdown, or tear. A foil and cutter costs almost as much as the new razor. So, I bought a new one. That second unit had the side trimmer weae out, it would not trim sideburns and so forth. So I bought this new one now. Works great! I use it every day, like the way it shaves, battery lasts, no problems! I recommoend this razor.CaddoTech

Hello, I bought this shave for my elderly father. It was on clearance with a favorable price. It is ergonomically designed and has a lengthy run time per charge. It's a single cutting head and shaves close, but takes forever to complete a shave. Multiple passes required with many missed hairs. The large single cutting head does work well on facial curves. The trimmer is worthless. The blades protrude straight out vs. a 90 degree cut on most others. This is more a nose hair/ear trimmer than a mustache style trimmer. From my 30-day experience, I would not buy this again, nor can I recommend it to you. Note: The box says it has a 45 day money back guarantee, so you can try it risk free. I've owned a Phillips 3D 1250X electric shaver for over two years. Phillips stopped making and stopped supporting them. So I decided to look around. Before using electric shavers. I started out with double edge razors, then the molded throw away's which became way too expensive and just didn't last for the price. I'm 61 years old, I've been shaving awhile. Most of my life I hated electrics. But almost three years ago tried the Phillips and it did a good job, but still left tiny stumble that I could feel but I looked shaved. I bought this Braun and tried it 4 hours after shaving with the Phillips. The shave with the Braun was darn near blade cut close! It found stubble the the Phillips missed and the was virtually zero stubble no matter which way I pulled my fingers around my face! With just a light touch the Braun does a fantastic job and I wholeheartedly recommended this shaver! I cannot speak to longevity. They recommend a new blade every 18 months which I feel is reasonable. Even if you bought a new one of these every 18 months for $52.00 tax and shipping it is seriously cheaper than the throw away blades!PiedmontInCarolina

I took my dad to a really nice upscale barber, and everyone one of them had this kind of razor. They used it on my dad and he did not get bumps or ingrowns like he normally does when he shaves. My dad was talking it up so much that I decided to get it for him for Christmas. I picked this trimmer up as a precision edging trimmer because my current beard trimmer is not precise enough to trim up the lines around the edges of my facial hair and side burns. This trimmer performed excellently in getting very precise lines and is a good addition to the arsenal. It comes with a single, adjustable trim guide for trimming large sections of facial hair. So far I am happy with this razor. It trims, edges and shaves very well. No nicking, pulling or snagging either. It has a 360 blade so it pivots to any direction you need it to. It is waterproof so you can use it wet or dry. Although I find it always better to shave wet. It also comes with a length setting comb so you can achieve that perfect length all over. Charging is fast and once charged it last a good while on just that one charge. More than enough time to get several shaves, trimmings etc in. Opened box to clippers and small brush was missing. Decided to try the clippers on my hand before actually using on my head to make sure it was a low, clean cut, but when I started I noticed that no hair was being removed and so I look closer at clippers and the thin aluminum part was chipped. This chipped piece shouldn’t of stopped clippers from cutting. Clippers never removed a single strand of hair. Couldn’t return per store policy, only was able to return when I didn’t like the product quality.Pierre

After using the balding clipper to kickstart cutting a client's hair, I put the finishing touches to the job by using the Wahl shaver. I must confess that using the Wahl shaver to complete the job no doubt takes the end result to another level. This is a great, Great Razor!!! It must be charged for the night or a few hours when you first get it though. You don't need to leave it plugged in though. Once it has been charged fully, you will have several days worth of power. It is very quiet, it gives a really close shave and it is really smooth on the face. In addition, it is very simple to clean. You can removed the guard and it reveals the blades of the razor. You just run some water over the blades and it removes the hair clippings.bj987keller

The Good: Great feel, grip, shave, ease of cleaning, quick charge time, trimmer is handy for sideburns to shape them up between haircuts. The Bad: I have now gone through two of these in about 2 years….the first lasted about 18 mos, the second, about 5. Problem? For whatever reason, after awhile, it will not charge. I also use shaving cream when I get out of the shower and use the razor, rinse it before, during and after use….and always and I mean always, after the period of time, you get up, plug it in, go in the shower, come out, dead. It won't charge. My guess? The Lithium Ion Batts. While ALL batteries have a lifespan, they should be much longer thant this. I rinse the head during shaving (shaving cream buildup and hair) 2-3 times while shaving paying attention to let the water drain down 90-95%….I don't think it's water intrusion….as deep as this thing goes is running it under the faucet head down? I used both the old and new charger….the new one shows all power lights on for about 2-3 seconds, goes dim, dead……there is something about these batteries that are not right….I am off to Walmart this mornign to get a 3rd in less than 3 years THIS time WITH the cheap warranty…..I have used Brauns for over 30 years and the batteries always seem to be the issue…do NOT pack them in luggage that will go in the cargo hold or you will find them dead, not chargeable when you get to your destination…this one is ONLY used at home. I take a cheap corded Braun on the road and it's about 20 years old now, still works but it's a dry shave…irritating…….I like the ability to use shaving cream for a much more comfortable shave but, this battery thing is aggravating…..over the 30 years I have gone through multiple 3, 5, 7 and 9 series razors…they ALL have battery failures eventually…so you end up buying a new one…..why? Because the other brands suck MORE. I have had Remington, Norelco (couldn't shave close with a gun to it's head), Chinese knockoffs even a small cordless from Harbor Freight that despite is size and slow speed delivered a great shave until it quit working…..it seems that if a rechargeable battery is run for 20 mins a day max, 6-7 days a week, it SHOULD last more than 6 months….never dropped, never abused, always left open on the counter after rinsing to let the head and razor dry after separated….still died….ridiculous…..I only hope the warranty is worth something when the next one croaks….no warning either….just dies…..still the best brand overall….Terry

I've never really liked wet dry shavers but this one changed my mind. it shaves flawless and leaves you face as smooth as using a traditional razor. i love that it's wireless and it charges very quickly and stays charged for a great amount of time. and cleaning is a breeze with the included brush and removable heads. you can also remove the head and run it under water for a deep clean. all around this is and excellent shaver.James
