I got this originally for my daughter, but she said it hurt. So, I started using it. It gets most of the job done, but doesn’t get everything or a close shave. This is a “crap, gotta do something about this forest, I guess” kind of razor. Also, it doesn’t hurt my old, weathered legs. My kiddo has really sensitive skin, so if buying for a youth, make sure they aren’t too aggressive with their use. I may have demonstrated incorrectly.
I have had my electric shaver for over a year now, and dang, is it durable!! This electric shaver, is built to last! I've dropped it onto hard flooring, I've thrown it, and it didn't crack or break or dent AT ALL. There's been some instances where my shaver was dropped (hard) onto wood flooring, hard enough that it should have ended up in pieces, unusable, but has performed consistently up until now. Unfortunately, with all the use it's seen, it's just now getting to the point of needing to be replaced, but it's still working. In a world full of cheaply made crap from China, Phillips is crafting their products to the good ol' USA standards for durability and consistent performance. Would DEFINITELY recommend!! I was provided the opportunity to test the Philips SatinShave Prestige BRL170/50 premium electric shaving unit. This specific product came neatly packaged, and included the main razor/base, in addition to 4 accessories (a convenient travel cap, a bikini trimming tool/head, an efficiency cap, and a pearl trimmer with safety bar). The SatinShave also came with a small carrying case, and a charging cable. The system took approximately 60 minutes to charge fully, and also featured a 5-minute quick charge option for convenience (if you're in need of a single shave). I found that the unit held power throughout a lengthy shave (multiple areas) consistently. Lights indicating low battery life, full battery life and charging mode were displayed clearly on the main unit. I utilized Philips SatinShave on three areas of my body: my legs, my underarms and my bikini area. The unit itself was easy to hold, and its ergonomic handle shape felt natural, comfortable and light in the hand. This shaver boasts the capability to be utilized for shaving in both wet and dry conditions. I found the shaving conditions to make minimal difference in the units overall shaving performance. The Philips SatinShave removed hair most successfully from my bikini area. The efficiency cap helped to pull my skin taut, and the bikini trimmer accessory enabled me to get a close, smooth shave; even over my typically-sensitive skin. The performance of the Philips SatinShave unit was underwhelming in regard to underarm hair removal. I found it difficult to manipulate the unit under the arm successfully (due to shape of anatomy), in order to achieve/maintain close contact between the foil head and the hair/skin. The Philips SatinShave worked average for leg hair removal. Although the shaver glided over the leg smoothly, the unit did leave residual, coarse stubble, behind on the legs. I found the SatinShave to require more than one pass over areas of the leg (especially the knee) in order to achieve maximum smoothness. In general, I do not feel that the razor surpassed the smoothing effects of waxing or a traditional razor. I also did not feel the electric razor was a time-saver in comparison to a traditional shave. However, Philips SatinShave razor did work to remove hair well in the bikini area and on the legs with minimal irritation, despite having sensitive skin. The SatinShave is also a great on-the-go shaving tool for times when you may miss a spot shaving. It is a great shaver unit to travel with, and I was impressed with the shavers cordless capability, comfortable handle, trimming tools/accessories, actual power and battery-life. I have two complaints about this product – 1) the position of the on/off and speed buttons means I'm constantly turning the razor off when I'm trying to shave. They are placed where one would normally grip the razor. 2) the plastic head protector breaks easily. The grips that hold it in place aren't robust. Your customer service department were very quick in replacing the plastic cover under warranty. The actual razor itself delivers a good shave. This is my third razor purchased from Philips.PHFE
Seeing as I haven't used an electric razor in almost 30 years due to severe irritation after shaving, I was very pleasantly surprised, there was no irritation after shaving at all, with the added bonus of no chance of nicks and cuts. The cut is extremely good it doesn't pull the hairs out like the one I used so many years ago. Its such a good shave that I even use it to shave my head and not just my face instead using of my normal fixed blade razor. The best feature for me is the ability to be able to use it wet (my preferred method) in the shower. I have yet to have full shave with the razor dry, but the spots I missed in the first few shaves That I 'touched up' dry while getting used to the razor showed no irritation at all. I also find it a bit quicker than my normal razor as well, I would estimate at least 5 minutes quicker per full head and face shave. The result is comparable to my normal wet razor except in a couple of areas mainly the underside / point of my chin, its not visibly noticeable but I can feel it when running my hand over those areas, but this may be just experience related. I have also noticed that I use less shaving soap than I did before so it will save me some money in the long term. I would like to see what the shave is like in 6 months and whether I have to replace the cutting heads more often than the estimated 2 years as I am using it for a longer shave than it is really designed for each time I use it. The other thing I have noticed is it is so quiet when in use even when cutting several days’ growth. I was pleased at the fact it came well packed in attractive OEM packaging with its own travel case, the only thing I would suggest is perhaps a little additional space inside the travel case to accommodate the charging cable. Other than that it was easy to use, easy to clean with fast charging time and plenty of shaving time. The pictorial instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. It took a little while to get used to a different speed of shaving and the fact I had to use circular motions for the best shave, but now I wouldn't be without it. Even my girlfriend has noticed how good a shave it is, I didn't tell her I has switched from fixed blade wet shave to electric and she didn't notice the difference. I bought this shaver about a month ago after my Braun shaver quit on me after two years. I've had Norelco's in the past as did my dad. There was a comment made by one person that he didn't like this shaver because he felt the motor wasn't fast enough. I found this to be true however the motor is quiet and there are three cutting head with a lot of blades. Thinking logically, if the motor was any faster, there's a good chance that the blades would miss some hairs. Of all the Norelco's I've had in the past, this one is the best. The main shaver head along with the 3 cutting heads give a very close shave and conforms to your face, jawline and Adam's apple where my old Braun didn't. I use Williams Electric Shave for lubrication and have yet to have any razor burn. For cleaning, pop open the shaver head and rinse with warm water. There are three indicator lights which tell you when the shaver is fully charged and when it'll need to be charged up again. For $60.00, this shaver at least for me is worth every penny.Dakasis
The shaver does a good job, I have had bad experiences with electric shavers in the past where the blades have pulled on my facial hair and it hurts that even before I would shave I would use the back razer to shorten my facial hair so I could shave my face or I would just use the back razer to shave completely. with this electric shaver, I can get a good shave without the blades pulling on my facial hair. there is a lot of confusion on what I can use with the shaver, like Lectric Shave or can I use shaving cream, the user manual doesn't give enough instructions. it's great that it comes with a case for the shaver and the charger, but the shaver is difficult to fully clean out like dumping out all the hairs that the shaver collects, also you are only recommended one accessory, and that accessory is no longer available and it's an important product because it's used to clean the head of the shaver.Hunter11
I found that my new shaver does a credible job. I enjoy the fact that it's waterproof and can be washed after use. However, it was supposed to show a warning light when the battery became low, and it didn't do that, and I was caught one morning not being able to shave because the battery needed recharging. I've been using a Norelco shaver for more than 20 years (Model #6843XL) even after the battery could no longer be charged by plugging it in until even plugging it in would no longer work. So being 94 years old, I assume that this will be my last shaver I'll have to buy if this one is as good as my last one.Maftir

I purchased this shaver 07/09/2022. i took it home and started charging it, I couldn't wait to try it out so I used it in cord mode. I have tried the Mach 5 and a Braun version. While the Mach 5 produces a good close shave, it takes me 20 to 30 minutes of shaving to achieve that. Plus I have to use a lubricant while shaving to achieve the best shave. I used this new Babyliss shaver with no lubricant on my head and it literally took less than 3 minutes and it's the best shave I've had. it's nice and rugged metal, all others I have used have been plastic. It has definitely been the cheapest shaver I have tried. I was skeptical from reading some of the reviews, I do have more of a coarse hair which one of the reviews mentions getting results from. If you have coarse hair and want a great shave, I totally recommend this shaver! I'm not saying it won't do fine hair, I am just not a good test for that.Chris M.

The item arrived really quickly and in a nice red box. Inside the box is the shaver itself, a USB charger cable, instructions and a mini cleaning brush. Another great rotary in Philips' lineup. This series does solve the issue of many complaints regarding the detachable trimmer and heads of other Philips shavers – it has the traditional flip-top head and pop-up trimmer. This adds to the bulk of the shaver, body and head, but precludes having to keep track of a separate trimmer and remove the head for cleaning, and it works reasonably well, although for me the trimmer isn't quite as effective as the SmartClick attachments for the Series 9000 shavers. The ComfortGlide Rings really are effective, and provide a frictionless shave, although in this model they are slightly larger than the Anti-Friction rings of the S7940 for example, and require some maneuvering to get around tight areas. The Quick Clean pods use the same cleaning solution as the SmartClean cartridges for the SmartClean stations, which is excellent for cleaning and lubricating the shaver. The Quick Clean Pod is unpowered however, and uses the shaver's power, reducing it by about 1 percent per cleaning, although on a positive note doesn't require cords or cables and is more compact – actually usable for travel. The GroomTribe app is the Achilles Heel of all these Bluetooth shavers, and in particular this model (S7782), because there's no information regarding this particular shaver – the app seems exclusively to recognize only the S7940 shaver. On the plus side, the S7782 will connect, and it does record the shaving time and the percentage of rotation (which improves shaving efficiency), although the motion sensor algorithm in the shaver appears not to recognize the correct rotational movement about half the time. The Norelco S7000 is a very great shaver and I do recommend this electric shaver to all men especially men with sensitive skin which I have and I’m 50 years old and I have been searching for a shaver electric or not and it will not make my neck red or razor bumps. The reason why I’m giving my purchase review is because it came with a defective battery it won’t hold a charge for that long as Norelco says that it should. So I contacted the manufacture and told them of this and they mailed me a replacement shaver of the same type and the replacement does hold a charge unlike the first one that I bought. And if you have sensitive scan on your neck and when you shave you get a red neck from a razor and bumps then you really need to buy either the S7000 or the S9000 cause I can shave dry and I get awesome results and no redness or bumps and you would want to get the electric Norelco shaver that you can clean it using a cleaning pod. I will never go back to razor’s ever again and when I have wore it out I will buy another one. I did buy the S9000 because it comes with double the blades but either electric shaver will give you a very smooth clean shave.Baylein
I grew up with and have used Norelco rotary shavers and body groom tools all my adult life. My old one, probably close to 20 years now, still works but there is no availability of replacement heads anymore and some wear finally. This is an excellent shaver and I am very happy I got it. I considered the 3000 and 5000 series, but 3000 seems to use lower end heads, and while the 5000 uses the same as this, the hard travel case is essential to me and purchased as a separate accessory brings the cost close enough that it was worth it to just get the higher end kit. The shave is great; I haven't yet tried out the cleaning pod. The shaver cleans very well under running water following the instructions. I also have some extras from my previous Philips/Norelco products that I use with this, such as combs, cleaning brushes and a spare charger.Chris_P

Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. However, a friend of mine who also sports a beard has used a Braun for years, no issues. For the price I paid for this razor, I thought I'd try. Not sure why this little razor isn't getting more love, maybe people just don't know how to shave. It works darn good. I can shave closer & faster than I can with a blade, no irritation, and it does not destroy my beard lines. I can't imagine how good your expensive models shave, this little guy works well. There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I have always been leary of buying an electric razor. However, over the past few years the cost of razor blades has skyrocketed and the quality of shave has deteriorated just as fast. I was tired of paying for razors that gave you a lousy shave. I was in the military and I know what a close shave is supposed to feel like. I took the plunge and purchased this razor. This razor has worked really well. The quality and closeness of shave is equal to anything I could get from a disposable razor. It takes a couple of weeks for your face to get used to shaving with an electric razor. It has been almost a month since I purchased the razor and I no longer feel any irritation at all. It is very easy to clean and the charge lasts for weeks. I will not back to using high priced low quality razors. I have long used cartridge razors, but no more. I’ll preface this with I have sensitive skin and prone to ingrown hairs & razor bumps. I used this in both my face and legs, and it’s the smoothest, least irritated my skin has ever been. There are even some contours I could get smooth with a good cartridge razor that I was able to get with this. I used it ‘wet’ with a foaming shaving cream. I also exfoliated first. I have never been as disappointed with a product as I was with this one. After all the glowing reviews and even some ratings calling it the best electric shaver ever made I took the plunge and switched from my Norelco. I have used for two weeks and the shaves are abysmal. Even after going over the same area 3-4 times there is still stubble left. Shaving the neck is even worse. Going over every area of my neck from every conceivable angle and there is still substantial stubble left. The only good comment I can make is that it feels good in the hand. ReDisappointment

I am giving this Shaver a 5 for looks and being able to use it on my Afro American skin, even though I rarely use that Title these days. I was Born in the USA!!! Some shaver I tried years ago did NOT work because I do NOT have the Strong skin. This is a Beautiful looking Shaver!!! Rose Gold is a Color I would like on an Expensive Watch or iPhone. For now, I keep most of it in the plastic to keep finger prints off! It would have been Nice to have had a Velvet cover for it instead of this rougher one. I am attracted by colors like this, Diamonds, etc. Even though, I am happy with Cubic Zirconia. Can hardly tell the Difference! It only caused a Slight irritation of the skin. I prefer to use the larger Brush that came with my Clippers to be sure any hairs are taken off on top. I would Buy this Shaver again!!!

This is my second one blade so the fact that I ordered another one says it all! As someone with very sensitive, acne and in grown hair prone skin I was never able to shave using the traditional razor and shaving cream method. I have tried out many hand held razors from cheap to very expensive but none of them lasted more than a few months never mind an entire year. I saw the one blade at my local pharmacy and decided to try it as I’ve had decent success with norelco in the past. This was the shaver I’ve needed and wanted all my life! The flat head design ensures stability while shaving and also makes it incredibly easy to shape my beard, side burns etc. What I love the most about the one blade is that it shaves the skin pretty much as close as a regular razor without the “side effects” of a traditional razor. No longer do I suffer with acne, razor bumps or irritation after shaving. This new one blade greatly improves upon the first iteration in the design of the guides and charging stand. The first one had individual length guides that didn’t really stay on that well and no charging base. I love the design of this new model because the guide stays on even while trimming the jawline and the lcd screen shows how much charge is left. For how small this thing is it has always held a charge very well. I shave about every week-ish and a full charge lasts about a month depending on how much I shave. The disposable heads last a long time as well given I tidy-up the thicker hair of the torso and below the belt, using a separate blade of course. My first one blade has lasted me over 3 years and it would probably still work if I didn’t drop it so much. To sum up my review, if anyone has had the same issues as I have using a traditional razor than I implore you to give this a try! Your skin will thank you!JNYC
I have always struggled with shavers, I am fair haired and my beard grows slowly so I usually go clean shaven but recently I have tried some different lengths of beard. With this Oneblade Pro I can manage the length easily, the guard comes with an adjustable comb so you can set it between 0.5 and 10mm, the best bit about that is it adjusts so simply with a turn of the wheel, the numbers are nice and clear so it's easy to set where you want it and it also doesn't move while shaving so you get a good even shave. I have attached a couple of photos, when I heard I was getting this I let my beard grow out so it was pretty long and untamed, for the first try I basically took it all off with a combination of using the guard and then removing it for a smooth finish, you can see the difference and it was an effortless shave no fuss and a nice smooth face. Battery life wise it's great so far, charged up once, used every day for a week and it's still going strong, I am guessing it will need charging soon but I can't complain at all. It is comfortable in the hand and us really sinple to use, the rotating head makes shaving so easy and it follows the contours of your face very well. It.comes with an extra blade for body shaving which I haven't used yet but its good to have the option. It comes with a standard 2 pin shaving plug for the bathroom socket and the lead is long enough to not cause any issues. It's much better for me than having to use a beard trimmer if I want to have some decent stubble and have a separate razor for when I want to be clean shaved, this does both really well and I would recommend it to anyone.Mooseman34
I will start this review by saying that I've exclusively used electric razors basically since I discovered what they were after I started shaving. I've used many different types and qualities over the years to varying levels of success. Unfortunately, the Philips Norelco Oneblade Pro fails to live up to the hype. In concept, the idea is interesting and unique, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. To start, the blade touts itself as being able to handle all lengths of hair, and I had gone almost 2 weeks without a shave (which is uncommon for me) so I figured what better way to test it. I tend to shave my neck clean and leave a bit of a 2-3 day shadow on my face so that's what I aimed for. While it accomplished this task, it was much more difficult and took much longer than my traditional method. I started with clean saving using the Oneblade without the guard on it, and it does well enough, although since it only cuts along the top and bottom edges, I found covering large flat areas to be a bit of an interesting experience. Since it doesn't cut directly under the flat middle part of the blade, you have to be sure there is room to move the blade up and down around it without cutting hair you don't want cut. The angle of the blade on the base does not lend itself to this experience. Trying to angle it without flipping it over is nearly impossible, and flipping it over means the teeth of the blade are directly against your skin. Fortunately the rounded edges do save you from any terrible mishaps, but it still does not lend itself to a very easy shaving experience. Once I finished the clean shaven portion of my neck, I attached the comb and set it to '3' (which I imagine is something akin to 3mm of my old Philips Norelco comb. It does manage to keep a consistent 3mm cut throughout, but it's like taking a weed-eater to a full yard of 5ft weeds. Yes, it CAN do it, but it does not do it well. As the blades cut the hair, it would just pile up and jam into the top of the comb until the comb and blades so full of hair they could no longer reach my face, and instead required me to remove the comb, tap out the hair and brush off the blades. The other strange thing about this design is that with the comb installed, only one of the two cutting edges is in use, which means if you only ever use it with the comb installed, or mostly use it with the comb installed, you will dull one side of the blade much sooner than the other. The blade cannot be flipped over to allow you a fresh cutting edge on the side that you use less. One thing I will mentioned about this, is that it is more comfortable than any travel razor I've ever used. So for travel, I would choose it over most other options if you're not willing to pack a bigger or bulkier razor. Bottom line, It will accomplish what it set out to do, but unfortunately it does not do any of those things well. It's comfortable, if a little strange to use and does not nick or cut the skin even if you have to use it at strange angles. But for the same tasks there are better options.Beradon

i liked the design and the concept of the trimmer… and I realized before i bought it that i would have to spend money before i found out if it was any good. But such is life, and it does look pretty nifty. Searching reviews wasn’t doing any good, nor were review videos off youtube. Every video and review online is sponsored by Philips, and they’ve cornered the market. Every “review” sounds like a infomertial. You just can’t get an honest opinion. So screw it- i just bought one with trepidation.
It’s been a year since then, and here’s my opinion for what it’s worth. The Philips OneBlade is JUNK! To begin with, i shave my face AND head and do so regularly. However, with three days growth, the blade wasn’t able to make it all the way through without being replaced- straight out the box.
The kicker? It has a 3 month shelf life before it won’t charge enough for a shave. That’s right, i’m on number four because they quit charging. All of them. Even now, i’m headed to court in a suit and tie, and half my face is shaved. the other half has a weeks growth from a holiday. I look like an idiot.
Try googling “OneBlade won’t Charge” and watch a new world open up before you. Thousands of people also have this issue, not to mention blade life when they cost a fortune.

Nothin beats an all in one face shaver when you don’t have to go back and forth between different styles of razor's. Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face has precise accuracy and gets a very close shave! I love how close it gets without having to use a straight razor. The blade and head of the shaver runs close to the skin to catch the smallest hairs and leaves it baby soft. I was surprised at how well it did with only one pass and hands down will use this one for every shave. Phillips designed this product with shaving in mind and in my several uses, I have yet to see the normal cuts you would get with a regular razor. My favorite part is how the blades line up my beard so easily without frustration. The slim design is easy to see around and fits in a travel bag perfectly. First time I used Oneblade I was amazed. Still today I use it almost always over other 3 types of razor I have. Razor(5 blade), trim razor rechargeable, and electric 3 head rechargeable are the three. They all work fine but the Oneblade does the job so much better. This is one of those products that you hope the manufacture doesn't ever discontinue. It is like nothing I have tried before, until you try you will not understand. I know I should tell you how smooth it is, how close it cuts, how it never cuts you, and it is amazing ability to get those curved areas of the face as easy as anything. If you purchase it and you do not like it I give, well it is not my product. But the faith in it is that strong you could put your promise on the product. This was my first time using an electric shaver and I'm sorry I hadn't tried it sooner. Gone are the days of shaving cream. This method has proven effective and provides more precision than I anticipated. While I typically forgo the instructions and wing it, I did not find the device intuitive and referenced the manual for guidance. There is a learning curve, but once you get the hang of the process, it's easy to operate, alternate accessories and clean. I love that the set includes everything needed from an exfoliating glove for preparation to a brush for cleaning the appliance to a pouch to store the shaver and its accompaniments. Better yet, the results are amazing. I consistently walk away with a close shave in all areas, provided I use the correct attachments. The key is to apply pressure when in use. This scared me at the outset, likely residual trauma from disposable razors, but it's necessary for an optimal outcome. I consistently get through the process with no nicks and without skin irritation. The hair growth remained at bay for two weeks. Though, disclaimer, I am pale with light red hair so I have a wider margin for error than those with other coloring. The ability to use this whether wet or dry is also an advantage as it has been easy to incorporate in my routine. Other benefits are that it is comfortable to hold and has a long battery life, more than enough to complete the job. The item arrived really quickly and in a nice red box. Inside the box is the shaver itself, a USB charger cable, instructions and a mini cleaning brush. This was my first delve into using an electric shaver but it was really easy to setup. It is really easy to use and didn’t nick or irritate my skin at all which I was worried about as I normally have dry and sensitive skin. It also comes with a guard that you attach to the head of the shaver which you may need for some parts of the body if you don’t want it completely without hair. The design of the shaver is pretty good too. Its predominately white and is easy to hold and fits nicely in my palm. Really love that its waterproof too so you can use it in the shower too. Pros love that it is rechargeable so no need for an endless supply of batteries and the charge seems to last a long time. Overall, a really good lady shaver from a trusted brand and a very close shave, easy to use and no irritation. I would definitely recommend these to others.

This is a great, Great Razor!!! It must be charged for the night or a few hours when you first get it though. You don't need to leave it plugged in though. Once it has been charged fully, you will have several days worth of power. It is very quiet, it gives a really close shave and it is really smooth on the face. In addition, it is very simple to clean. You can removed the guard and it reveals the blades of the razor. You just run some water over the blades and it removes the hair clippings.bj987keller
The Good: Great feel, grip, shave, ease of cleaning, quick charge time, trimmer is handy for sideburns to shape them up between haircuts. The Bad: I have now gone through two of these in about 2 years….the first lasted about 18 mos, the second, about 5. Problem? For whatever reason, after awhile, it will not charge. I also use shaving cream when I get out of the shower and use the razor, rinse it before, during and after use….and always and I mean always, after the period of time, you get up, plug it in, go in the shower, come out, dead. It won't charge. My guess? The Lithium Ion Batts. While ALL batteries have a lifespan, they should be much longer thant this. I rinse the head during shaving (shaving cream buildup and hair) 2-3 times while shaving paying attention to let the water drain down 90-95%….I don't think it's water intrusion….as deep as this thing goes is running it under the faucet head down? I used both the old and new charger….the new one shows all power lights on for about 2-3 seconds, goes dim, dead……there is something about these batteries that are not right….I am off to Walmart this mornign to get a 3rd in less than 3 years THIS time WITH the cheap warranty…..I have used Brauns for over 30 years and the batteries always seem to be the issue…do NOT pack them in luggage that will go in the cargo hold or you will find them dead, not chargeable when you get to your destination…this one is ONLY used at home. I take a cheap corded Braun on the road and it's about 20 years old now, still works but it's a dry shave…irritating…….I like the ability to use shaving cream for a much more comfortable shave but, this battery thing is aggravating…..over the 30 years I have gone through multiple 3, 5, 7 and 9 series razors…they ALL have battery failures eventually…so you end up buying a new one…..why? Because the other brands suck MORE. I have had Remington, Norelco (couldn't shave close with a gun to it's head), Chinese knockoffs even a small cordless from Harbor Freight that despite is size and slow speed delivered a great shave until it quit working…..it seems that if a rechargeable battery is run for 20 mins a day max, 6-7 days a week, it SHOULD last more than 6 months….never dropped, never abused, always left open on the counter after rinsing to let the head and razor dry after separated….still died….ridiculous…..I only hope the warranty is worth something when the next one croaks….no warning either….just dies…..still the best brand overall….Terry
I've never really liked wet dry shavers but this one changed my mind. it shaves flawless and leaves you face as smooth as using a traditional razor. i love that it's wireless and it charges very quickly and stays charged for a great amount of time. and cleaning is a breeze with the included brush and removable heads. you can also remove the head and run it under water for a deep clean. all around this is and excellent shaver.James

The product pictured and described on the Ulta app is The item pictured / described on the Ulta App is not the same item I received. The shaver came earlier today. It has ONE shaving head not two. There is NO charging base, only a plug in wall charger. When I called customer service they could not tell me if the replacement item they are sending will actually be the two head shaver with a charging base. ((Why?!?)) I guess I'll have to wait for another 7-10 days for my "maybe it is, maybe it's not" the right item to arrive.Wendy
Bought for in store pick-up. I was provided a completely different razor that does not come with a base. The color around the button is solid pink and not white. And it has a dofferent head. All other stores sell that version along with the one advertised here. The employee berated my husband telling him he does not know anything that this is the new and improved model she provided us in our order. That it does not matter that it does not come with a base or that the head only has a single blade. Tried to shove a razor that elsewhere sells down my hsubands throat for $10 that does not match the product they list here (elsewhwre also sells this razor and it is the same price). I have used this shaver twice now and both times Ive been pleased with the results. Ive found you need to angle it so the foils make contact with your skin first, rather than the shaver head, to avoid that scratchy feeling! I use this to shave my legs whenever the mood strikes, and it's pretty good at removing both coarse and fine body hair. When my almost 15 year old son and I were asked by Stellar Product Testing Panel to review the Norelco One Blade razor in exchange for a free razor, I was admittedly skeptical. This razor just looks so different than his previous razor I wasn’t sure how it would work. Well, let me tell you, I was so pleasantly surprised how great this little razor is!! My sons previous razor was big, kind of clunky, and had a round “cage” on top. The one blade is compact, and had a flat smooth surface. It’s easy to hold and operate in one hand, and the best part is it doesn’t pull his whiskers like his old electric razor did. I used to have to almost force him to shave before, because pulled whiskers were painful. The Norelco One Blade never pulls hair. He now shaves about every other day and is done in about two minutes. He said he only has to pass over an area once or twice to get a close enough shave that I don’t see the stubble. The battery charge has lasted probably 20 or more shaves, and the original blade is still working perfectly. When this blade needs replacement I will buy them for him because my son says we can throw away the old razor because he’s never going back to it. He would be mortified if he knew I was mentioning it but other teens might be interested in knowing that this One Blade does not bother his pimples or makes him bleed if he shaves over one. We’ve even used the edge of the blade to trim his hairline on the nape of his neck and to edge his sideburns. He says he would prefer the razor come in black, instead of the blue/green color combo because black is manly and he is manly now that he shaves regularly! However, color is unimportant to me as long as the product delivers on its promises, and this one certainly does! The only one small thing that would have made this product better was if somehow it collected the whiskers instead of them falling on the bathroom counter. Not that big of a deal really, as I’ve just trained my son to wipe the counter down after a shave. Got this for my husband and he couldn't even hold his excitement and tested this out before I got home from work. He has a beard year long that he continues to let grow through the winter. For work reasons he needs to keep it trimmed and clean cut. After using the attachment clippers and shortening his hair down. He decided to go straight in starting on his neck with just the blade and without using shaving cream. He said it did a great job at removing the hair and he finished in under ten minutes. He was left with a little stubble that you can't see unless you point it out. I helped him with the back of his neck and it was easy to keep it steady in my hand and I like that I can just go back and forth. I used the edge to get a few strays hairs I missed and only had to do it once. I have to say it worked so good on him and I like how his hair line turned out. A little loud but no louder than most. Really cool that it can be used in the shower and I can see alot of wives stealing this from their husband. Another thing he liked is the length of the charger cord and that it kept it's charge and didn't turn off on him while he was grooming. This is also great for removing patches of chest and back hair.
