Exceeded Expectations! Been Bald shaving for close to 25 years. I've used several different methods from the head blade to regular blades to conventional electric rotary shavers. The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. The Balder Pro does such a great job under my chin and neck area with absolutely no pulling or nicks. Another impressive feature is cleaning is so easy, since I rinse it under the shower while shaving, that when I removed the head to deep clean it, there was hardly any residue, shaving cream or hair. Although my scalp hair has receded over the years, my beard is still quite thick and this thing cuts right through it quickly leaving my face smooth and unirritated. Cannot recommend highly enough! Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver – super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers. I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard – they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful – doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower. Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave. It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave. It's also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I'd like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. If you're in the market for a good electric head shaver that will make shaving easier & quicker, then definitely give this one a go! You won't be disappointed I promise.Elias
I bought the BaldiePro as I had heard many great things from family and friends but I was still a little skeptical. As someone who regulary grooms – I have a lot of experience so here's my review that I hope helps you make an easier buying decision. First, I was pretty much blown away after my first shave and pretty blown away with how close of a shave it provided. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's still performing as it did the first day. It's very easy to hold in your hand, has a high speed motor (10,000 RPM) and a great battery life. One BIG tip is to make sure you give it a good clean after each shave. Just like anything the more you care for it the better it will continue perform. Nothing worse than a company praying you don’t read the smaller text. I was unfortunate enough to buy in store to find out that the 100% waterproof is only for cleaning. Very annoying- but maybe passable if its use was good? Absolutely not. Took forever to get anything off my face which a normal razor could have done 3 times over in the time I tried to use this- and my face still isn’t properly shaven. This is my first experience with a Braun razor. I wear a beard, but still need to keep my neck & cheeks nice and neat. I shaved with a hand razor for years, it was fine. I was interested in a foil razor, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep my definition lines on my face without destroying them. However, a friend of mine who also sports a beard has used a Braun for years, no issues. For the price I paid for this razor, I thought I'd try. Not sure why this little razor isn't getting more love, maybe people just don't know how to shave. It works darn good. I can shave closer & faster than I can with a blade, no irritation, and it does not destroy my beard lines. I can't imagine how good your expensive models shave, this little guy works well. There was nothing at all to dislike about this product. I found it to be an amazing piece of machinery. You see I have Parkinson's disease. It eventually became impossible for me to use standard blade razor because I could not twist my wrist to the angles needed to save the contours of my face at the jawline on the sides of my face. This razor is lightweight definitely waterproof and easily glides over all the contours of my face with its pivoting blades. Or I also like to point out that it was easy for me to hold because of the texture of the outside casing of the razor itself you see I have no strength in my hands either. I've tried many of these head shavers over the last few years with various results. The Pitbull has been the best of them by far and for a few reasons. First, the overall performance. I shave my head every fourth day and have always had issues with these electric razors not being able to pick up the hair on the very back of my head, where it still grows in relatively thick. The Pitbull doesn't seem to struggle nearly as much to actually pick up and cut the hair there. Second – Ease of cleaning. Because the whole blade assembly pops off, it makes it very easy to rinse out the heads. Others i've tried that only flip open and don't easily detach are much more difficult to clean. The worst offender of this was the Freedom grooming razor. That one had 4 separate heads to open and then a center head that is supposed to unlock and open but the whole cleaning process took almost as long as the shave. Third: Hair storage. There is plenty of space under the blades to shave your entire head, even with four days of growth, without needing to stop and empty it. Others i've tried didn't seem to take this into account… again with Freedom Grooming being the worst offender with only a tiny ring of space for hair under each head. I don't want to stop halfway through to clean out the hair. Finally, overall build quality and ergonomics seem spot on. I also like that you can see what percentage of battery you have left instead of just an led light. Overall, this was more than I wanted to spend on a head shaver, but at the end of the day, when it's a product you're going to use hundreds if not thousands of times, it's worth the cost to get something that performs well.Kyle B.
Honest and truly I've been shaving my head with a razor like a knub for the past 2 years dealing with razor burn every two days having my whole head look like I just got attacked by a swarm of angry Hornets. I brush my teeth and shave my head every morning. It takes me less time to shave my head than it does to brush my teeth. Extremely easy to maintain. Multiple shaving heads available unlike other brands. Super super easy to clean. And the best part you don't have to worry about some flesh eating bacteria that's living on your razor blade entering your body from a tiniest Little knick that will eat half of the skin off your head. And along those lines you don't have to worry about slipping wrong position of the blade. Just rub this skull conforming device around your head for just a few seconds and you're good to go. And the cool thing is at the end of the day when you got a little 5:00 shadow on your head going on and makes you look a little bit more rugged and that much more dashing and handsome. That and if you have one of those type of girlfriend or boyfriend you can let them have fun shaving your head too without fear that they're going to mess you up something fierce. It’s awesome. I accepted my inevitable baldness two years ago but never out thought into how to truly shave my head—-like many, I just used my cheap electric razor…which I thought worked fine, until I discovered this amazing tool! I shave my head in like three minutes instead of fifteen, and there’s zero hair on the floor/bathtub after because this thing catches all the hair. Best of all, my head is incredibly smooth—like honestly, I had no idea my head could feel so smooth. I used to have little cuts and flakes on my head but this thing smoothed them all out. There’s no flakes, no hair, just smooth bald skin. It doesn’t hurt my head at all. However, I’ve been disappointed by how it irritates my neck. I have very sensitive skin below my chin and each time I’ve used this shaver there, it results in red scarred skin and razor burn/bumps that hurt. Never on my head, just the neck. I may later buy the blade they sell for sensitive skin to try that (I really wish that could have just come standard with the shaver, like I wish I could choose blades instead of only having one option). But until then, I can’t use this below my chin since it breaks out in red bumps and pain—even when I use shaving cream. But that’s only 5% of my shaving need. The other 95%, my head, is shaved masterfully and quickly and painlessly by this shaver. It’s so quick! Loving it. This is a great, Great Razor!!! It must be charged for the night or a few hours when you first get it though. You don't need to leave it plugged in though. Once it has been charged fully, you will have several days worth of power. It is very quiet, it gives a really close shave and it is really smooth on the face. In addition, it is very simple to clean. You can removed the guard and it reveals the blades of the razor. You just run some water over the blades and it removes the hair clippings.bj987keller
The Good: Great feel, grip, shave, ease of cleaning, quick charge time, trimmer is handy for sideburns to shape them up between haircuts. The Bad: I have now gone through two of these in about 2 years….the first lasted about 18 mos, the second, about 5. Problem? For whatever reason, after awhile, it will not charge. I also use shaving cream when I get out of the shower and use the razor, rinse it before, during and after use….and always and I mean always, after the period of time, you get up, plug it in, go in the shower, come out, dead. It won't charge. My guess? The Lithium Ion Batts. While ALL batteries have a lifespan, they should be much longer thant this. I rinse the head during shaving (shaving cream buildup and hair) 2-3 times while shaving paying attention to let the water drain down 90-95%….I don't think it's water intrusion….as deep as this thing goes is running it under the faucet head down? I used both the old and new charger….the new one shows all power lights on for about 2-3 seconds, goes dim, dead……there is something about these batteries that are not right….I am off to Walmart this mornign to get a 3rd in less than 3 years THIS time WITH the cheap warranty…..I have used Brauns for over 30 years and the batteries always seem to be the issue…do NOT pack them in luggage that will go in the cargo hold or you will find them dead, not chargeable when you get to your destination…this one is ONLY used at home. I take a cheap corded Braun on the road and it's about 20 years old now, still works but it's a dry shave…irritating…….I like the ability to use shaving cream for a much more comfortable shave but, this battery thing is aggravating…..over the 30 years I have gone through multiple 3, 5, 7 and 9 series razors…they ALL have battery failures eventually…so you end up buying a new one…..why? Because the other brands suck MORE. I have had Remington, Norelco (couldn't shave close with a gun to it's head), Chinese knockoffs even a small cordless from Harbor Freight that despite is size and slow speed delivered a great shave until it quit working…..it seems that if a rechargeable battery is run for 20 mins a day max, 6-7 days a week, it SHOULD last more than 6 months….never dropped, never abused, always left open on the counter after rinsing to let the head and razor dry after separated….still died….ridiculous…..I only hope the warranty is worth something when the next one croaks….no warning either….just dies…..still the best brand overall….Terry

Underpowered – Bogs down when cutting more than light stubble Pulls hair – Pulled my facial hair constantly. Got to the point I was timid to pull it across my face. Locks up – If you don't clean it constantly it will go into a lock mode and it will force you to clean it. Problem is after you rinse it out, the motor won't start back up. It will still stay locked in cleaning mode. I had to bang it on the counter to finally release the motor. No one has time for this headache when you trying to get out the door to work…I threw it in the trash and will be looking for another shaver.RobertF
Fair product. I was excited to use it as soon as i got it and it did a reasonable job. 5 days later i went to use it again only to find that it is not working. Still has substantial charge and the brush works, but some mechanism in the actual shaver has caused the blades to not spin. I will be upgrading to a different brand/model as i do love the concept, but sadly the Barbasol was defective and not worth a second chance.MattW

I have experienced the single head of the Bliss for a while and when I saw the cost of the double head, thought I couldn't miss, plus I needed a birthday gift for him! The double head is much better and the recharging capability is absolutely fabulous! Saves switching batteries like I have had to do often on the single head. I purchased this shaver 07/09/2022. i took it home and started charging it, I couldn't wait to try it out so I used it in cord mode. I have tried the Mach 5 and a Braun version. While the Mach 5 produces a good close shave, it takes me 20 to 30 minutes of shaving to achieve that. Plus I have to use a lubricant while shaving to achieve the best shave. I used this new Babyliss shaver with no lubricant on my head and it literally took less than 3 minutes and it's the best shave I've had. it's nice and rugged metal, all others I have used have been plastic. It has definitely been the cheapest shaver I have tried. I was skeptical from reading some of the reviews, I do have more of a coarse hair which one of the reviews mentions getting results from. If you have coarse hair and want a great shave, I totally recommend this shaver! I'm not saying it won't do fine hair, I am just not a good test for that.Chris M.

This is my first time I try an electronic shaver my self. First off love the gold color on it mm it was pretty smooth easy to use honestly. I purchased this to shave my head. I usually use a regular razor for that. The bald buddy does not get a very close shave. Might want to rename it to the stubble buddy. It also says that it cuts it down with only one pass, but I end up going over my head probably 20 times before I get to the point where I’ll fix it with my razor the next day. Not sure if all other shavers are this way because this is the only one I’ve tried; however, I would say if you really want to be bald, stick with a razor.Shaun
It’s been a couple of weeks now. Very nice electric shaver easy to use gets a good close shave. If you have an odd shaped head this will work out great. It might take a little longer to shave but worth it to me. It’s not perfect but close I’ll wait and see how long the blades last.Dan H.
