20 Best Electric Space Heater For Garage (Jan 2023 Update)

This is a great little heater. I've have it running in my garage here in Minnesota all week, to be fair it did take a little while for it to bring the temp up in my garage but once it did it has maintained it no problem, Its actually a little under powered for the size of my garage but it has been holding its own in temps ranging from mid 20's to high 30's and I have been able to spend time out here in a light flannel or even a tshirt on some days… Will it work in Sub Zero Minnesota temps? I don't know but its definitely doing its job in late fall/early winter temps. I do have the Newair 2 in 1 240v Garage heater as well and I need to run an outlet in my garage/man cave for that, I know that one will keep me nice and comfortable throughout the super cold months for sure…at least it should. I recommend this heater especially if you have a smaller garage or work shop that you need to heat, its light weight and portable, fairly quiet,and it has a thermostat so its not running wide open constantly which helps on the power bill.Touring Midwest (Drew)

I've had mine for about a year and recently turned it on since last spring. It works like a charm and still has an acceptable fan noise leve. No change since last winter. It's very effective for those freezing winter nights. I use it in my garage which is also my man cave with TV, bench and chair seating and a center table. Fridge filled with cold beer and Hockey season is about to begin!! Only one issue! It has the ability to be controlled by an external thermostat. I have to step up to reach the internal temperature control knob to adjust it. It's a little annoying. I wish it would have come with an external thermostat. It would be a good opportunity to add more for value. Or at least recommend which one is good for wired, wireless or wifi controlled. Otherwise, it's warm in here….!Lu the man

I purchased this April 2020 to heat my work shop, which is 30'x24' with concrete floor. The entire shop and ceiling is insulated with 2" foam, and the walls are covered with drywall. It has a drop ceiling as well (which is not insulated) and height from floor to drop ceiling is 9.5'. There are no windows and the one garage door is insulated. Installation was easy with basic electrical knowledge. I used 6AWG to a 50amp breaker. It is hung from the ceiling. First time using it the outside temp was 40*F. It took one hour to heat the shop from 50* up to 61*. Another half hour brought it to 66*, so this was about 10*F per hour at 40*F outside temp. This was using the 7500watt setting (it also has 5000watt switch). I used the internal thermostat (controlled by knob on the front), but there is a switch on the back to convert it to external/remote thermostat. The instruction sheet shows how to do it and I think it would be pretty easy with pre-existing electrical knowledge. I don't know how adequate this would be during cold winter, but my initial plan is to use it and if I need to bring up shop heat quickly I can use my portable propane heater initially, then just run this electric for clean, odor free maintenance temp. It's hard to say how much it costs to run it, but a rough estimateI came up with was .50-$1 per hour at 7500watt setting (depending on local rates). So far I am happy with it. It looks well made and instructions were pretty simple. I would recommend it to others, but don't expect it to crank out a massive amount of heat like a propane heater. It puts out lots of heat, but if I wanted to heat up my shop much quicker with it I would probably need two of them. I think it will work fine for maintaining heat levels even at colder temps, but next winter will confirm/deny that.aaron_ramsey

First unit I bought was missing pieces. Contacted customer support. Was told they weren’t able to help and to return for a new unit…. That response took 2 weeks. Exchanged that. New unit didn’t make it a year. Now won’t get up to temp. Blows heat until 4 degrees below set temperature then blows cold and fan runs constantly because it will never blow heat up to the set temp. Don’t waste your money on this. Customer support is no help and will probably only reply to this comment to tell me to call customer support.AngryCanadian

I bought this for my garage based on the reviews and I'm really disappointed. I'm not sure if the unit is defective but it only blows warm air that I have to be standing right in front of it to feel. It doesn't matter what setting I have it on they all feel the same. It makes a clinking noise when I shut if off that sounds like something is hitting the fan which has me thinking it's defective. I bought it 2 years ago and it sat on a shelf in my garage until I had it installed a few weeks ago so I'm not optimistic that it would be covered by warranty. Sadly this heater does nothing for my garage. I am taking into consideration that my 2 car garage is detached and could be better insulated as it's a pole barn however I wouldn't think I would need to stand directly in front of this unit to feel any warmth from it. I've left it run 6-8 hours and see little to no difference in the temperature on cold days. I'd like to contact the manufacturer as I have questions however I am unable to find a good number for them.Blacklabdad

We bought an adjacent peice of property that had a 40' tractor trailer box on it that the old man used as a workshop. We cleaned it up and we're using it for woodworking. I needed a heater in there to allow me to work on cold days. I saw this 240v heater in a Rural King ad and the price was right, so I went and bought one. It draws just over 20 amps @ it's 5000btu max setting, so I started with a 25amp double pole breaker and ran 10AWG copper conductors through 3/4" steel conduit. I chose to suspend it using 3/8" all-thread from a bracket that I fashioned out of aluminium bar. This setup worked out great giving me the ability to adjust the height. The heater wired up easily and works just fine. I would say that it heats my shop enough to make working in it on cold days manageable. The trailer is a typical 40' uninsulated box @ 2500 cubic feet.DSCRenovations

Easy to hook up (had electrician run a 220 circuit first), easy to use, seems like a good value for the price. It puts out a good amount of heat, but you need to make sure you have good insulation and no air leaks, otherwise it struggles to keep up. Its essentially a larger more powerful space heater. Once I got the insulation up and the air leaks sealed it works like a charm, but prior it struggled to keep up with a 19×24 foot garage. Now it cycles on every 30min for about 15min, even during a week of negative Chicago temps, and then shuts off. Before it would run almost non stop. Electric bill increased about $50 keeping the garage at 55deg. for a month (knob at halfway). Happy with the purchase, but if you need more heat I would recommend a gas heater.Emmanuel

For the price and size this heater is great for my two-car garage. There is no insulation in my garage but this heater makes it comfortable. Hanging from ceiling in corner it takes away almost no usable space. The fan is strong enough to push the heat throughout the garage though just a little noisy, but you can’t have one without the other. I would recommend it to friends.PontResto

We are so glad that we have the NewIr Portable 120v Electric Garage Heater, we are just sorry we did not have it sooner. The adjustable head is perfect for warming up the lower part of the garage or tilting it UP to warm up the air a bit higher. Living in Pennsylvania, there's never a shortage of reasons to use the NewAir portable garage heater. With Halloween, it was so cold that we had it heating the garage so we could go in, warm up and yet still tend to the candy table and see the parade of costumes trick or treating. Honestly, this is so easy to use, we just set it on the ground, near nothing flammable, plug it in, tilt the head where we want it to heat, and it does it's thing. Once the air is warmed, we let the fan run to move the air through. Being able to control the minimum heat to max is also great, but the best part was pulling it right out of the box and using it. When we are working in other areas in the garage, we just move it with an easy-grip handle and no getting burned as the cool touch housing keeps the unit's exterior cool. Then, as we move into the Holiday Season, stringing lights outside is super frigid on the hands and we freeze, so we take a few breaks and heat up in the garage and then return outside, without having our fingers so cold we can't work. It's nice to not have to suffer through the cold in the garage. We don't have to stop and go in and warm up, then lose our momentum. I was very disappointed with this product. It was supposed to be a heater for a home garage. It would not heat up a shoebox. Although I was dissatisfied with the product, I was very happy with the service that I received from Fingerhut. The item did not have a packing slip included for returns. This heater is the biggest waste of money I have ever done on FH or elsewhere. I wish I would have read the reviews and then I would have saved my self some time and MONEY ! It only get slightly warm and I bought it to heat my small garage. This thing would not keep my half bath warm if it ran 24/7. Don't walk away from this , RUN !!!! This heater is great! We have a 2-story home with a finished basement and central cooling/heating. Our insulation isn't great and some of our pipes run along an outside wall. Every winter we have issues with our water lines freezing, because regardless of the time of year or what temp we set our thermostat, our basement is always very cold. We mounted this heater on the wall in our basement and we haven't had any issues since. It works great and is easy to use! We can't speak to the longevity of the product since we haven't had it very long, but we don't anticipate any issues. Definitely a great purchase for us, and we'd highly recommend! #sweepstakesSara

Some much quieter & smaller than my 10 year old infrared heater. Both 1500W. Too new to give it 5 s but if it lasts 10 years it will be worth every penny! I purchased a 1000W Heat Storm infrared heater, a couple years ago, for 12×12 enclosure and it heats the area easily during January & February making the space useable year round. I really like the auto mode vs manual select high or low setting. Has the option to wall mount but since it is portable and I am only using it seasonally I wont be using that feature. My sister in-law was so impressed she purchased 1 too.tpwoodchuck

Purchased late last year to heat up my room, everything was working fine. Would heat up the room super fast had nothing to complain. Until IT STOPPED WORKING. I have an insulated 22×24 attached garage that would get down in the low 40s when the temps were in the 0-15 degree range. I needed to angle it but didn't want to use the risky one screw option listed in the instructions, so I mounted it to a piece of wood, and then to the ceiling joists. I also moved the blue wire (one less coil) requiring a 25amp vice 30amp 240v breaker because I didn't think it needed to run at full capacity based on my square footage, and installing 8 gauge wire in flexible conduit is much harder than 10 gauge. It's working perfectly just above the low setting mark keeping the garage at 62 degrees. I am sure I can push the temp way up, but that isn't necessary. It doesn't come on very often, so I am confident it won't affect the electric bill much. It's very quiet. I was impressed with how fast the unit arrived using Blain's standard mail. They shipped the same day I ordered. Plus, their price was cheaper than all others on the internet. No more cold air seeping into the house and my cars are warm when I get in!TonyE

Using this to heat an insulated 14×24 workshop. The heater was installed on the ceiling with the vanes directed down. In conjunction with a ceiling fan it produces more than enough heat to be comfortable. Great heater!RickN

I bought this heater for use as supplemental heat in my well insulated 30' x 48' shop with 12' ceilings. The shop is divided in to two work areas, The larger 30' x 26' bay is heated with circulated hot water through the floor. The floor is heated to 55 or 60 degrees as to not tax the hot water heater and pump. The shop temp can drop to mid 40's when the outside temp drops into the low 20's. This heater was rated for use for only 500 sq ft, but like I stated it's for supplemental heat. With the heater set two clicks from off, it cycles on and off every 45 minutes to an hour, and doesn't run very long, but keeps the shop in the low 60's when outside temp is low 20's. I purchased this as an open box special to try one ou.t. I may buy the larger unit for use in the unheated bay.slowcoupe

Don't let their size distract you. These small compact heaters definitely make a big difference. I love the remote option. The fan is quiet and they heat every bit of the square footage they say they will. I would definitely buy these again.Angela

This heater.would be a good concept and it does work well. Remote control is nice. Heats well Beyond that its so noisy you cant be in the garage when its running. Imagine a jet engine test cell! I bought this Fahrenheat FLCH4R unit for my 2 car garage. I debated between this one and a few others that looked similar. This unit has a remote control that helps make adjustments very easy since i have it mounted to the ceiling. I can set the target temperature easily and it turns the element on high until it gets within 3 degrees of that temp and then it goes to low. The element never gets red-hot so I'm less concerned about something catching on fire than with something else. The fan stays on unless the temperature steadily remains at the target temp. Overall it heats the garage quickly and efficiently. The "barrel" is a little less than 9" in diameter and about 11" long — the dimensions in the description are an overall size with bracket.thunderbunny01

Heater is utilised to heat 24×24 garage attached with just buffalo board sheeting. No insulation between studs. Garage door is insulated double. Located in Minnesota we do have cold temps and winds. 20 to 40 below not unusual. Researched heaters, was not interested in a infared electricity gulper. Found the King units with the radiant copper tubing. Read the negative comments, weighed what was said. Inspected a 7500 and a 5000 watt unit at a selling store. Purchased a 7500 watt unit, brought it home installed unit on 30 amp breaker. Utilised unit last winter 5 months and almost 3 months this winter, no problems. Relay switches are loud when cycling, bracket for hanging unit could be stouter. Adjusting front air deflectors on the crude side, bend deflectors to desired angle. Unit has been trouble free, fan moves air thru the summer. Operation cost has been very reasonable, credit this to purchasing a larger size than needed. Garage holds 60 degrees thru the day in the winter easy. Hi/Lo relays noise when opening gets tiresome, very firm snapping sound.Old Wrench

I received one of these 7500/5000 watt units for my birthday and as a house warming present.
I have returned this unit twice now and now have a store credit since this was a gift and the "card holder" isn't present to refund it to the card.
I am trying to replace it now with a whole other unit. Unfortunately they are all sold out.
Honestly this product should not be sold period. All installation was don't professionally for both electrical and the mounting.
Both units worked great for the first week and then after that the loud initiation of the thermostat started with it becoming increasingly more noisy with every cycle.
I'm only heating a 4-500sqft garage with the units running on the 7500w setting. This was suggested by 3 electricians for best performance and less strain on the unit.
Both of the units from what I can tellm and from what my electrical friends said…the fan failed both times. It's cheaply put together vs the rest of the unit and from what you can see for such a unit to be considered "commercial"..the transistor/ d cap they called it is tiny for 240v. This is the little box they said that regulates the fan power input etc.
However even with that they all said it was clear from the sound and from visually seeing the fan wobbling that it was constructed poorly.
If you can swing the extra few bucks….avoid dyna glo or at least this product!J E

Bought this week , installed today correctly: Dedicated 240 circuit, 8/2 wiring,40 ampm breaker, using Dyna Glo ext thermostat w correct 14 ga wire. 1. Back switch is on "Ext Thermostat", Front Thermostat off, Power Light brightly lit, turn ext. thermostat to 60 Degrees, Fan kicks in, NO HEAT AT ALL and Power Light goes out ? Waited 20 mins for some kind of heat. None. 2. Turned off ext thermostat, switched to internal thermostat, turned internal thermostat up, slight click as if engaging..no fan, no heat, no power light…nothing 3. Call Customer service ….45 minute wait being told I'm "Number 1" in line, couldn't wait any longer Not a good start to this overpriced product !Joe S

I purchased the heater January 17, 2021. It worked great the first winter in my unattached garage. During the second winter, it didn't appear to be keeping up with the temperature. I contacted customer support, and had a new thermostat (het cutoff) within a few days. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue. Contacted customer support with an update. Within a few days, I received a new heater element ("Heater" in parts list). This fixed the issue, and the heater works great again!! Contrary to some reviews I've read, Customer Support is great to work with, and quick to respond. At the time of contacting Support, we believed the heater was just a few months out of warranty. I bought this from a local utility company and it was installed yesterday. The only way I can access the control functions is with a very poor remote. You have to be in a certain spot in our storage building before the remote connects to the heater. The heater was installed in a upper corner of the storage building. You therefore cannot see and access the touchpad control panel located on the front of the heater. Very disappointed in this unit because of the remote.Doug75

purchased Dyna Glo x series 15000. installed on 12/22/2022. the following day the area received a very very cold time, -5 (-25 with wind }. I tested the heater at full setting,95F. Started at 6AM and by noon it was 45F. At 6PM the garage art.ttemp was 64F. remember the garage was freezing at start of heating. car garge with over 15 height. no insulation, i think the heater worked well.JOSE

Chose this heater because it had the highest fan speed of the ones I looked at. Definitely not much faster than cheaper heaters. As always with dewalt seems like quality build but not the high speed heat I was anticipating.web-guest

It is a hybrid infrared. 60% of the heat comes from a relatively new PTC heater. 40% comes from infrared. It heats the air and objects in the room at the same time. I have a small home of 1250 sq. ft. I have three of these heaters at various places and have been able to shut my gas furnace down entirely. Since they are very stingy on electricity, my monthly heating bill is now much less than it used to be! I would recommend this heater to anyone without hesitation!ripr-5662

My neighbor called and asked if my heatpump was running all the time. I said yes a lot 15 minutes on and 5 minutes off. He said his is running full time. The temperature reached 22* here in southcentral TX. Which is very rare for this part of the country. I told him I would research portable heaters. After reading two hours of reviews about heating I decided that the best bang for the buck was the Dr Infrered 968 heater from HayNeedle. I ordered two, one for my neighbor and the other unit for me. We are both very satisfied with the way that this heater works the controls and safety features. Neither one of us has had to turn on the ac/ heat pumps for the main living area about 1,500 sq ft. Just read all the reviews. The Dr Infrered Portable is everything that they say.Michael

I've owned this heater for 18 months. Only used sometimes in the winter obviously, so it hasn't been run that much. Quartz tube already burned out. warranty is 3 years. $25 minimum shipping fee to send it to the manufacturer for repairs. Then I'm without a heater for an unknown length of time and it's a cold January right now. Tube is supposed to last much longer. Half the heat without it. Disappointed in the short life of the product as it is billed as a premium heater.BBB Customer

Works well except for the thermostat. If you don't have an additional circulation fan such as a ceiling fan the unit thermostat is inaccurate. Wifi feature is nice. Have not found another heater this size on the market with this option.Mark Piper

I purchased this unit in October, I have it installed by an electrician($600). My garage is 500 sq ft. Its insulated and finished, at its highest setting this heater on a day when its 5 degrees Celsius it does heat the space. When its -10 celcius the temperature of the heat from the heater cant get above 13 degrees after being on all day and night . I was so excited to buy this, I can use WIFI and control it from my phone. What a huge disappointment $1300 later and I have a heater that heat the space. I can control it with my phone but that doesn't matter because it doesn't work, wish I could get a refund.AAHud

Have owned this space heater for less than a year and the switch keep breaking, more than 10 times. Manufacturer keeps sending me new switches, but I am forced to disassemble the device and reassemble the device every other week…Asked customer support for a more permanent solution he Colt Carpenter said the only thing he can do is send out switches…That is very bad customer service and this is a poor product. I received this as a Christmas present, and finally found a few hours to hook it up. The timing was perfect, because it was below zero last night, and never got above 15 degrees (Fahrenheit) today. The verdict… I'm a happy camper. I was a bit skeptical to put this little electric heater in my big, finished/insulated three-car garage (23' x 28'… with 9' ceilings – 644 sq. ft. / 5,796 cubic feet), but based on the reviews and the price, I figured it was worth the risk. To my surprise, this little heater works quite well. It brought the temperature up from right around 32, to 50 in about an hour. I let it run for another hour or so, and the temperature got up to about 65 (tested on a separate, stand-alone digital thermometer… placed on the other side of the garage). I ended up installing a cheap ceiling fan as well, which helped even more. I spent a few hours out there this evening, and the garage was holding steady at around 65 degrees, which was plenty comfortable in a sweatshirt. As far as the install, I ended up spending about $70 on wire (30 feet of 8 gauge), conduit, and supplies (plus the price of a 12 pack for my electrician neighbor who wired it into the panel), so I'd say I am at about $200 all-in. As far as time… probably two hours total. As far as the heater's performance… it's perfect. It's not very loud when it's running, and it doesn't take up much space. It puts off a surprising amount of heat that you can feel the fan from about 10 feet away. The thermostat display seems to be off a little, and it makes a pretty loud "thunk" when it kicks on and off (sounds like the internal breakers opening and closing), but in all honesty… I have no complaints. Is it as good as the propane "Hot Dawg" heaters that my dad has in his shop? No… it's not (we work in t-shirts in his shop). However, this was much cheaper, and much easier to install. Given that I am not working out in my garage every day, and given that I didn't have to drop $1,000… and run a gas line… and cut an exhaust vent through my wall… etc… I'd say it's a good compromise. Bottom line… good for taking the nip out of the air for us "weekend warriors".TTKammer

Installed this unit I our 2 car attached garage. The space is insulated, aproxemently 22×22 with 9 foot ceiling. Installed a 240 volt 40 amp circuit using 8-3 cable and 50 amp 4 post outlet. Used same cable and matching plug as a power cord for the heating unit. The space warms up quickly even with outside temps below 30 degrees. Like others have done I moved the ambient temp sensor to the outside of the unit, allowing it hang out the back and down about 8 inches below the bottom. In this case it was mounted on the back of the unit just below the fan motor, the white wire. This allows for better temp control. Have not had to use the 7500w high setting. The low setting has worked well. Easily keeps the space around 70 degrees. The heater is farley quite when running. However the the main contactor is a bit loud when it opens and closes. I like the remote control. It allows for convenient operation.Brian

This heater is used in my smaller garage/ shop to keep everything from freezing such as my paint for my heavy equipment and power washer and hoses for power washer. Everything frozen before except paint was in basement for winter but hoses on portable hose cart froze solid and had to be thrown out and power washer froze and cracked manifold which I had to replace now everything is just right at temperature I set on heater and nothing even comes close to freezing. And heater does not run constantly when it gets up to temperature it shuts itself off and only restarts when it needs to reach set temperature again. Great product has done it's job big time and nothing has even come close to freezing. I would highly recommend this heater for anyone suffering from the same problems. Because it shuts itself off and on it's quite economical. Just buy it and you'll see for yourself how efficient it is!!!!Hawkeye

I went into The Good Guys during the Big Chill in Sydney to buy a small QUIET heater for a small room. I was attracted to how compact the HHTRPW is and tested it at the store for noise. The air-conditioning sound of the store drowned out the noise of the heater and so, bought the staff and I thought it was quiet. Then in the noiseless environment of my bedroom, this heater was just as noisy as my previous Kambrook heater.Positives I do like the LED lighting as a novelty, the safety cut-off if the heater is toppled over, there are 3 heat settings. Low price.Negatives No timer, takes time to heat up a room, and yeah, it is noisy still (at least for my ears)anonymous

I got this to put under my desk at work because I get very cold – it is so incredibly loud. Its wild. I have it on the lowest setting and i can still hear it with noise cancelling headphones on. And the heating isnt great. I had my feet 15 cam from it and only one of them was getting any warmth. Cant turn the fan up because then it sounds like Ive got a turbine going in the office. For the price Id expect something a lot better. Ill be returning it first thing in the morning .Meagan

I wouldn't buy it again ! Definitely it not worth $79 . I am missing the 25$ I bought at Kmart that lasted 4 years . The only good aspect is it is small and nice design. The bad aspect is low power . It can't give you a lot in a tiny box . The worst issue is after some minutes, it starts to swich off the hot air for a while. Then it restarts again. Then, for a while you will have only cold air , waiting to switch on again. Annoying! They will tell you that it is normal to prevent overheat. This will not happen to other brand and cheaper heater instead. It doesn't have a thermostat! The reason is the box was not properly built to allow reasonable power . Do not buy !Salvo

As far as the install, I ended up spending about $70 on wire (30 feet of 8 gauge), conduit, and supplies (plus the price of a 12 pack for my electrician neighbor who wired it into the panel), so I'd say I am at about $200 all-in. As far as time… probably two hours total. As far as the heater's performance… it's perfect. It's not very loud when it's running, and it doesn't take up much space. It puts off a surprising amount of heat that you can feel the fan from about 10 feet away. The thermostat display seems to be off a little, and it makes a pretty loud "thunk" when it kicks on and off (sounds like the internal breakers opening and closing), but in all honesty… I have no complaints. Is it as good as the propane "Hot Dawg" heaters that my dad has in his shop? No… it's not (we work in t-shirts in his shop). However, this was much cheaper, and much easier to install. Given that I am not working out in my garage every day, and given that I didn't have to drop $1,000… and run a gas line… and cut an exhaust vent through my wall… etc… I'd say it's a good compromise. Bottom line… good for taking the nip out of the air for us "weekend warriors".TTKammer

Installed this unit I our 2 car attached garage. The space is insulated, aproxemently 22×22 with 9 foot ceiling. Installed a 240 volt 40 amp circuit using 8-3 cable and 50 amp 4 post outlet. Used same cable and matching plug as a power cord for the heating unit. The space warms up quickly even with outside temps below 30 degrees. Like others have done I moved the ambient temp sensor to the outside of the unit, allowing it hang out the back and down about 8 inches below the bottom. In this case it was mounted on the back of the unit just below the fan motor, the white wire. This allows for better temp control. Have not had to use the 7500w high setting. The low setting has worked well. Easily keeps the space around 70 degrees. The heater is farley quite when running. However the the main contactor is a bit loud when it opens and closes. I like the remote control. It allows for convenient operation.Brian

This heater is used in my smaller garage/ shop to keep everything from freezing such as my paint for my heavy equipment and power washer and hoses for power washer. Everything frozen before except paint was in basement for winter but hoses on portable hose cart froze solid and had to be thrown out and power washer froze and cracked manifold which I had to replace now everything is just right at temperature I set on heater and nothing even comes close to freezing. And heater does not run constantly when it gets up to temperature it shuts itself off and only restarts when it needs to reach set temperature again. Great product has done it's job big time and nothing has even come close to freezing. I would highly recommend this heater for anyone suffering from the same problems. Because it shuts itself off and on it's quite economical. Just buy it and you'll see for yourself how efficient it is!!!!Hawkeye

Since this heater is not gas but electric it will not be as hot. But it is great on a small patio between chairs or under table. I also bought two tall electric ones and are giving both away. Not worth buying unless you can use in an enclosed area. Very pleased and would buy again.Cricket

We have a covered patio with a wood burning fireplace. We do not want to burn wood anymore because of possible fire dangers here in California, and the pollution that wood smoke throws into the atmosphere. We got the Oscillating Heater for its heat potential and it's safety potential and it does not look like a big heat lamp in our cabana. We are so excited to have warm evenings dinners at either end of the summer with this in our cabana.Edith

I use this heater on my apartment patio. It gives off just the right amount of heat and is providing my dog and I some more extended time outside this winter! It's a great little heater that doesn't take up much room!Catherine
