I got this after receiving a recommendation from a relative, and after about 2-3 days of use I am already seeing (and feeling) improvement with my teeth. The electric brushes I had previously were not as powerful or abrasive. This one isn't one of the uber special ones — it has one mode and that's it. That's all I really need! I noticed after the first couple of users that some of the yellowing on my teeth has eased up, but today (after drinking espresso and eating donuts), I noticed my teeth were already brighter/whiter! (Disclaimer: I do use a fluoride-free whitening toothpaste, but it has never been this effective with the electric brush I tried before or manual ones). I would recommend this to anyone who is not looking to spend $80+ dollars and/or doesn't want or need anything super fancy but would still like to see some results or get that "clean" feeling only a decent toothbrush can offer. I don't think this product would be good for children under the age of say 13 or so, especially if their gums are sensitive. The brush is very abrasive, but that's where the "clean" feeling comes from. The only "cons" I've experienced after within 72 hours of purchase is that it takes FOR. EVER. to charge (in the manual it says it can take up to 22 hours, but lasts about 10 days [with x2 a day use]). It's not really a con because the manual says overcharging this unit is impossible so you can just leave it on forever.PAMELA
I don’t like this toothbrush. I tried it for quite a while and it’s just not for me. I’ve used different brands of electric toothbrushes for years, and I just don’t like this one. It kind of feels like I put a little hand mixer in my mouth, just way too aggressive of the vibration. I’m a regular flosser, with good dental visits and this toothbrush made my gums bleed the first few times. Part of the issue is that the rotating head is just too large, but also, the motor is very loud and aggressive. One thing that is superior to my other experiences is that this one pulsates after 2 minutes but doesn’t shut off. Sometimes I like to go a little bit longer if I felt like I missed a spot. However, with this toothbrush, I found myself just hoping it was done. Another positive is that my teeth were very clean when I used it, but I couldn’t help wondering if it was causing too much harm to my gum line. I included a comparison picture so you can see the side of the toothbrush head. I might try a different style head to see if I like this toothbrush more, but as-is, I can’t use it daily.Anonymously Sarah
I used to use a combination of a manual toothbrush and a battery powered toothbrush for years until I finally decided to take a leap and purchase the Oral-B Pro 1000 rechargeable toothbrush on October 13, 2022. I started using it that night and couldn't believe how clean it got my teeth! I had a spot on my upper right tooth that had some plaque on it that the manual toothbrush just wasn't getting. Within the first use, the plaque was GONE! I will never go back to a manual toothbrush for as long as I live. If you want that "Fresh from the dentist clean" feeling everytime you brush your teeth, spend the money and get this toothbrush! I picked it up in white as well as some Equate brand replacement heads and Hello toothpaste from my local Walmart and am amazed at how much less plaque I have on my teeth as a result of using this toothbrush twice a day for two minutes! Highly recommend.cameragal24

Reviews:
The toothbrush exceeded all expectations after the first use. Feels like a professional cleaning. My teeth are clean, smooth, and shiny. The whitening effect became noticeable on the third day of use. I am sure that my visits to the dentist will become less frequent. Value for money is all about this product. The process of ordering, payment, and delivery was simple and just excellent. I am satisfied and will definitely recommend Sonicare to anyone who cares about the health of their teeth and oral cavity.Xu000
This toothbrush does clean well. It has a few other modes which I believe they suggest getting different brush heads for. I've only used the standard clean mode. I feel like the brush is too powerful. The instructions state you should be able to change the vibration when using it by pressing the mode button but….when I do that it doesn't seem to change at all. Occasionally the brush has slipped from my hand while brushing and the neck of the brush rattling against my teeth is not pleasurable at all. You really need to stay focused while using this brush to avoid the shaft of the brush hitting your teeth while brushing.Kam71
My teeth were hurting so bad a couple of months ago that I thought that I had a mouth full of cavities. I made a dentist appointment and it turned out that I didn’t have any cavities. The dentist said that I was brushing my teeth so hard that my gums were receding! They suggested that I switch to an electric toothbrush. I paired that with sensitive toothpaste and I’m no longer in pain. I chose the 5100 model because it had 3 modes: clean, white and gum care. Clean mode is the standard 2 min, White mode says it is for removing surface stains and is a little longer at 2 1/2 min, and the Gum Care mode that I’ve been using is 3 minutes, it’s the standard 2 minutes but then an extra minute at a lower power to gently massage gums. My teeth and gums feel great since I started using this Sonicare 5100.christina.c

This product should come with better instructions in the box rather, than and a one sheet pictorial representation which seems to be a little different to the product. In my case, image 13 on the pictorial seemed to show that there are three LED’s to show differing levels of charge status but on the product itself there is only one LED for this. I had to telephone Philips to find out the meaning of the displays from the single LED and, in so doing, got pointed in the direction of a 64 page user manual on their website which gave the information on how to decipher the various phases of flashing lights. I realise that putting a user manual in the box covering all languages would be a bulky document but there must be a way of producing a manual in the official language of a particular market. Additionally, replacement toothbrush heads for G3 sensitive gums in black HX9054/06 are shown in the Philips online shop as being “no longer available” – see photo. Using the website’s “Find the toothbrush head that is best for you – Go to advisor” function and selecting G3 Premium Gum Care only brings up one option which is in white. I had to telephone Philips to query this and was given a different code HX9054/33 which the online advisor does not show. The website toothbrush head finder needs to be kept up-to-date by (1) not showing products “no longer available” e.g. HX9054/06 but (2) showing those which are e.g. HX9054/33. Furthermore, when trying to find my toothbrush on the Philips online system I type in the code on the bottom of my product which is HX680B but that is not recognised. The website needs to recognise all of your product codes.Boroman
This is a great item if you want a good quality electric tooth brush. I have the fancy $300, connect to your app one. This is fairly comparable in terms of power. This is great for kids or someone looking for a basic, yet good quality electric tooth brush. I bought this specifically for my boyfriend to convert him over to electric tooth brushes. Certainly can’t be the price. For anyone considering the more portable version of these…there’s a battery one and a similar but rechargeable model…get this one instead. Those ones lack the power of this one significantly.BvonBraun
I bought these for my family on my dentist's recommendation. This model is simple and affordable does the job that more expensive Sonicares do. There are many brush heads available which work great so that means you can use different brush head on the same handle which is fantastic. We are using this brush since a year now, what a difference! We would never go back to regular brushes. Takes a few times to get used to the vibrations, you have to be gentle and let the toothbrush do the work. Also has a high end look and feel. The charger is great too and it has 3 year warranty. This is very easy to use and the features are very handy. I would recommend it this was a great purchase decision. #philips #Sonicare #influenster #voxbox @influenster @voxbox @aenaarsalblogaena.a

Reviews:
This toothbrush is surprisingly lightweight, comfortable to hold and I am in love with the lavender color. It's also so easy to assemble, charge and operate. I like thr choice of different speeds, especially the deep clean setting. I did find the brush head to be a little on the small side and thought the brush seems a bit loud while in use. I was also surprised to find that this brush had no moving or spinning parts, it only vibrates. It does have a corresponding app which I found really interesting. It's easy to install and I had no problems connecting the brush to the app via my phone. This app keeps track of how well you brush and would definitley help to ensure you get the deepest clean possible. You can also use the app to earn points to put towards rewards like new brush heads. If you're looking for brush to teach you how to brush better, easy to operate and is great at getting teeth extra clean, then the Colgate Hum is definitely worth giving a try! #HTCxhumbyColgate #gotitfreetoreview #Hometesterclubrachael.d
I just started using this toothbrush and switched over from a standard toothbrush to the hum electric toothbrush and what a difference it makes! My teeth feel SO much cleaner than they ever have with my regular toothbrush. Every time I brush I feel like I just got my teeth cleaned by my dentist! I love connecting to the app while I brush because it guides me through each section of my mouth and notifies me if I missed a section. That is my favorite feature because sometimes I miss an entire section of my teeth. It also gives me advice on my brushing speed and even helps improve the angle I hold my brush at to help correctly brush my back teeth which I always struggle with. I always have a hard time properly cleaning my back teeth and gums and I already feel I am making improvements! Using this toothbrush makes brushing my teeth more engaging and fun and I had no idea I had been unknowingly brushing only about half my teeth!! I highly recommend this toothbrush.
The toothbrush was better than I expected. I used it for a month and was impressed. It as light in weight and easy to use. I liked that the seam and connection between the head and the toothbrush head is very close and doesn't allow water and grime to settle between. I am usually a fan of neutral colors but the bright purple was a fun change. The most impressive thing about this toothbrush was that it taught me how to brush better. After a few times using it with the app, I found myself automatically ensuring that I hit all the places on my teeth. The only downside is that the battery life is not very long. It has to be charged about every 5 days, so if you take it on vacation, you would have to take the charger along. The charger is relatively heavy and larger than I expected. The App is fast to find the toothbrush and you only have to use it once every 10 days or less. Overall, I liked this toothbrush and would recommend.

Reviews:
I Love that this comes in pink. Sonicare doesn’t have the most colorful or fun options when it comes to their line of electric toothbrushes. So when I saw this one in pink I was so excited. I also love the pressure sensor since I’ve always pushed too hard so now I have receding gums on over half of my teeth. So this had been a helpful tool. Also, the battery lasts a REALLY long time. With my previous electric toothbrush (it wasn’t a Philips Sonicare one), it had to sit on the charger at all times because otherwise the battery would die. I didn’t have room for a charger to sit on my bathroom countertop since the space is already limited so I thought this toothbrush would be better since the charger is so small. It was a nice surprise when I realized that I don’t even need the charger out on the counter 24/7 because it stays charged for a few weeks at a time! I also love the sensor that tells you when it’s time to change out you’re toothbrush head. Overall this is a really nice toothbrush and it has a lot of features that are really nice to have. The pink color is almost a pastel color which I also love! I hope Sonicare keeps coming out with new designs and colors, etc. The only reason why I decided to purchase a Philips Sonicare toothbrush is because my dentist kept telling me at EVERY single visit that I needed to get a Philips Sonicare toothbrush. I’d never had one before and I really liked the electric toothbrush I was using at the time. My dentist would always tell me how much better it is compared to every other brand out there, etc. I thought that if the toothbrush had the word Sonicare or Sonic that it was the same as the Philips Sonicare but he informed me that they are not the same and to make sure it’s a Philips Sonicare toothbrush. I kept putting it off until the day he told me that he can tell the second he looks in someone’s mouth is they are using a Philips Sonicare toothbrush or another brand. I have a really awesome dentist and he’s always in top of the latest literature and guidelines, etc. He does both cosmetic dentistry and regular dentistry too. He owns his own practice (two of them actually) and he doesn’t hire other dentists, it’s just him. He cares and has always been upfront and honest with me from day 1. He doesn’t try to upsell you or tell you something’s wrong when it’s not. He’s talked me out of doing Zoom whitening in his office many times because he doesn’t think my teeth look as bad as I do. So I 100% trust him. He’d been telling me to get a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for so long, so I finally decided to make the switch (primarily because of what he’d told me that day – that he could tell which patients of his brush with a Philips Sonicare and which do not). I’m so glad I made the switch. I’ll never go back to any other brand. This toothbrush definitely brushes a lot better – you can feel the difference when you turn on a Philips Sonicare toothbrush and compare how it feels (dry and using your hands) to another brand – you can feel a major difference just from touching them with your finger. I wish I would’ve switched sooner. If you’re reading this, trust me on this one, you’ll regret not buying it sooner so get one as soon as you can. Your teeth and mouth will be grateful! The only thing that I can think of when it comes to negatives/room for improvement (besides the lack of color options) would be also the lack of different styles. They all have the same shape and general look to them. It would be nice if they had for ex: a really slim one (that’s what I liked about my last toothbrush) or a small one (not a travel one which they already have) but just one that’s a lot smaller but still has the same functions as the big ones – I’d totally buy a new one if they came in a smaller version (as long as they had it in pink or violet, etc.). They should do a collaboration with Hello Kitty! If they ever do, I hope they not only do the usual red Hello Kitty look but and a pink Hello Kitty too. And lastly, these are noisy – mine is anyways. So I wish they were a lot quieter. Otherwise these are amazing and I agree with my dentist on this one – Philips Sonicare is the very BEST of the best when it comes to the electric toothbrush!ILoveMyPINKSonicare.

I've used Sonicare for around 20 years and over the last few years had bought the cheaper Sonicare around £100, but that one has failed twice in the last 12months (terrible battery life and motor went funny when brushing). So I decided to go for a slightly more expensive one and it was worth every penny. The handle is much sturdier and feels nicer to hold, the motor seems stronger and smoother and the battery life is much better. Having the clean/gum/white option is great too. I was also advised by my dentist to remove the head after every brushing and not leave it on the handle. I never charge with the head on either. A great toothbrush, really pleased.becs

Reviews:
We purchased a brush & charge station with UV light by Sonic FX from Groupon a few years back. The brush died, so we sought a replacement. Groupon still offers a fair deal (even with the shipping cost) on the brush with the added benefit of extra brush heads. However, the discount percentage is grossly exaggerated. The shipping took more than a week. As I compare with the other prime online seller, Groupon offers additional brushes but slower shipping for about the same price.
Product is cheaply made. Toothbrush holder itself is very light , which is nice. The charging light is so tiny and dim you can barely see it lit. The brushes are all the same softness which I do not like because they are extremely soft. Choices for different preferences would have been nice. The bristles are also very tiny(the surface area) They do have different colored bands along bottom of them if multiple people were sharing one brush handle. If your looking for a lightweight brush for a small mouth with no problems that you need to brush away, this one is for you! If you need a larger brush head and a firmer bristle and you need a more powerful brushing action spend more money and buy a better toothbrush! Disappointed in you Sonic! I expected more from you!! This is definitely the quality of my daughters cheap no-name electric toothbrush……
This is the second Sonic FX Solo Toothbrush that I had purchased through Groupon. The first was a white one that lasted a few years and actually still works fine other than the battery is constantly needing to be charged and not holding one more than a few brush cycles. This is to be expected and since I was so pleased with the first one, I purchased a second one in November and after just 3 months, it won't take a charge and won't turn on. It is useless and I am now in the process of seeing how the distributor (BEAMING WHITE, LLC) is going to handle my request for replacement. I will be certain to leave plenty of feedback advising of how they handled this.

Reviews:
I was able to purchase this on sale, and I was still skeptical of spending this much money on an electric toothbrush. I had a basic Sonicare years back and didn't think that much of it – it was just "ok". I tended to go back to a manual toothbrush more often and just used the electric occasionally. I think it was because the brush head felt too small and the handle was bulkier. The 9900 Prestige feels more like a normal size and the handle itself is smaller and lighter. I also thought it was kind of hokie with the "smart" features, like "who REALLY needs that?" However it's a game changer and it is absolutely amazing. I've only been using it three days now, but I LOVE the smart features. I didn't realize I had areas that needed more attention – I always felt like I was hitting everything I needed to. It seems silly but now I look forward to brushing my teeth and getting that "fresh from the dentist" feeling every time and know what areas I need to pay more attention to. Highly recommend!ChristinaM
Honestly, it's a beautiful toothbrush (I got it in rose gold) so it's pretty on my countertop. I also love that it's thoughtfully designed. The charging base has a frosted plastic cover so it doesn't get wet but doesn't ruin the appeal. The toothbrush is lightweight, and the bottom flashes between two different colors depending on if you are moving around too much or pressing too hard. I also love the buzz to let you know to move on from a section. I also know I'm getting a great clean when I'm using this toothbrush! I love the three strength settings too. I'm still on level 1, which is plenty for me, but I like that it can be controlled as I know other electric toothbrushes don't always allow for that. Even on level 1, sometimes I'll splash a bit and foam quite a bit, but it just took a bit of getting used to. I'm happy to adjust knowing I'm getting cleaner teeth in return! I did start with the app, which was cool to see where I might have missed a spot in my teeth, but I've since stopped using it as the toothbrush itself has plenty of features to help guide me in my toothbrushing. It is pricey, but well worth it. I also was able to use my HSA dollars towards it to lessen the pain of the cost!alicein1derland
The Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige has impressive cleaning performance paired with a real time feedback app to improve dental health far beyond what can be achieved with a manual brush. In the box is the toothbrush, head, charging stand, USB charging cable, power adaptor, and charging travel case. While not required for operation, in order to fully leverage the benefits of this toothbrush you will need to download the app. I had no issues downloading and running on my Android phone. While you can brush without the app open, if you want real time feedback and history tracking you will need to open it when you brush. To pair to the app you need to put the brush on the base, open the app, and then turn on the toothbrush, at which point the app will begin tracking the two minute program and your brushing habits. Within the app you can select multiple brushing options: three different intensity settings, and five different cleaning modes that range between 2:00 minutes to 3:20 minutes based on if your goal is sensitive, deep cleaning, gum health, whiten, or clean (default setting). The SenseIq technology takes a bit of getting used to between the brush movement and the app response, but easy to navigate once you get used to the slight lag between where you are brushing and what the app shows. The app breaks the mouth into 6 sections and then each section gets a 20 second interval. Based on the toothbrush movement the app can identify which section of your mouth you have covered and then provides feedback if you brush too hard, move too fast, and adapts the intensity of the vibration based on the pressure you apply. The app will also let you know if you have missed an area and you can go back to that area to turn the section 'green', see photo for example of this feedback. The app also contains dental health tips, tracks brush head life and provides notification when to reorder. It leaves my teeth feeling extremely clean, as if I just came from the dentist's office. If you battle with plaque build up, sensitive gums, or just tired of hearing your dentist tell you to brush better, this Sonicare will help you adjust your habits and get better cleaning results without spending the extra time on inefficient brushing.EngineerMom

Reviews:
I have already reviewed the white version, so this is the same product and just a different colour. Again, I cannot fault this product at all. The price may be too steep for some but I really think it is worth the premium price. Almost as good as a hygienist appointment! To add to the other review, it has a great interactive display which you can use to change the setting e.g from teeth to tongue brushing. I definitely recommend loading the app to track your brushing – this was especially helpful to my daughter who neglects certain areas of her mouth. It encourages her to ensure that she applies the correct pressure and gives the same brushing attention to every tooth. So instead of the usual 10 second brush, she now brushes for the full two minutes. It is not whisper quiet but it not a deafening noise either. It is easy to charge and having two brushes means I only needed one charger. Such a wonderful toothbrush and I look with envy at the newer version out!Julie
I couldn’t justify the price difference to buy the IO8, which appears to have more features, but the reviews for this IO6 were good so opted for what is still expensive for a toothbrush even at sale price of £110. I was expecting something better then my existing 5 year old 5000 series, but I wasn’t expecting this huge difference. Quieter than the old style, it vibrates away rather than rumbling. Following the 2 minute guide on the app, my teeth genuinely feel clean, proper clean all over! Note: Black and Grey have whitening function. On pink this is replaced with a second Ultra sensitive function. Must add, Staff at Fareham branch were really helpful. I opted to buy in branch after checking stock on line. If you are not fussed with fast charge, I believe this is as good as IO7/8. A 2 minute brush uses around 8-10% battery so should last 4-5 days per charge. In summary… this is not a new version of normal Oral B brushes, this is a whole new experience. Ting!MbgMark
Love it! I was a very happy Oral B user for many years. I had switched to Sonicare because I liked the way it vibrated, but never liked the brush shape. This Oral B iO is the best of both – the round brush that I'd always preferred, plus the updated vibration…er…style? The relatively small charger will be great for travelling. My teeth feel really clean, the purple is really pretty, and the timer makes cute little faces. It's just a wee bit expensive and I wish it'd been on sale, but I love the thing so oh well. I don't care about the app, so haven't tried it. The toothbrush does everything I need without it. Note: if you're switching from a different Oral B, the iO takes completely different replacement heads.lawrentienne

Reviews:
Unboxing the Philips Sonicare 2100 was a pleasant surprise. Easy to get into and very minimal packaging. Contents were simple: A toothbrush handle, a toothbrush head, and a charging stand with a USB connector at the end of the cord. No charging brick is supplied, but it appears that any old USB charger you have in a drawer will probably work fine. I’m using one that came from an old Chromecast we decommissioned years ago. The documentation says it was omitted to reduce environmental impact, etc., and if you want one to contact Philips. Contact instructions are included. A full charge can take up to a day, but the instructions say it can be used with partial charge. When the toothbrush is placed on the charging stand, there is a double beep signaling correct placement, and a battery level indicator LED toward the base of the toothbrush handle lights up. I have only been using the brush for a few days at this point, but after the initial charge it is still going strong. Brushing is a straightforward process. The Philips Sonicare ships in a mode called EasyStart that gradually increases vibration intensity over 14 days of use. This is to allow the user time to become accustomed to the new brushing method. The toothbrush automatically shuts off after two minutes of operation. It has a cool feature Philips calls Quadpacer that beeps and pulses brush operation at 30-second intervals as a cue to move on to the next quadrant/area of your mouth. It’s a handy reminder. For years I have used an electric toothbrush with a round oscillating head, and I always thought it did a good job. After using the Philips Sonicare 2100 a handful of times, I can tell you that I have never had a better home toothbrush. Its performance exceeds any expectations I had. After brushing, my teeth have that just-from-the-dentist kind of clean feeling that I usually only experience right after a professional cleaning. This is my new favorite toothbrush! It is so impressive, I bought one for my wife.GamerDad
I have had several electric toothbrushes over the years and always have had mixed results. The Philips Sonicare 2100 Power Toothbrush is no different – mixed results. The first thing you will notice (as with all the Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes) is that it built very well. Fit and finish are top notch and the toothbrush is well balanced. For such relatively low initial cost, Phillips so confident in the quality that they give you a 2-year warranty. Battery life is most probably unbelievable. I’ve only had the toothbrush for 3 days, but I own its predecessor and it was last weeks on end. Oddly enough, I had not used the older version in over 2 years, and it still held a charge when I used to compare it to the 2100. Everything sounds good so far but let’s look at the mixed results part. There is nothing inherently wrong with design, but I find the vibrating only head a bit to much to bear. I also find that if I compared the vibrating head to a competitor’s rotating head (which I currently use,) I find the rotating head does a more thorough job at cleaning. It’s not that the Philips Sonicare 2100 Power Toothbrush does not do a good job, I just find the competitor does a better job. Keep in mind that I do not have anything empirical to back that up, just a feeling that the rotating head design on the competition does a better job in the same time. With that in mind, I am in a tough position for a review. The product is built well and some people may prefer the vibrating head design of Philips Sonicare 2100. However, if I had to recommend an electric toothbrush; I’d pick the competitions rotating head.TechnicallyCorrect
I love my new Sonicare power toothbrush. I’ve previously used battery operated spinning brushes you buy in the toothbrush section, but this is my first time trying a Sonicare. This is also the first time I’ve had to read the instructions for a toothbrush before using it, lol. And I’m glad I did! At first glance you think, just charge it, press the button, brush and done. But there is so much more here. This toothbrush not only gives you a top-notch sonic cleaning, it also instructs you along the way! The Sonicare 2100 comes nicely packaged in a small easy to recycle box. Along with the handle unit it includes a charging base, USB charging cable, one toothbrush head and a hygienic travel cap. This does not come with a power adapter, however you can contact Philips support to have onc sent to you for free. There is also an offer to receive a free brush head, however after following the steps I couldn’t figure out how to get it so I called customer support. I was told that you have to sign up for one of the Sonicare brush head subscription plans to receive the free head. The subscription plans cost between $7.99 and $11.99 every three months to receive a new head every three months. Furthermore, out of the eight brush head designs they offer, all but one are currently out of stock. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a new brush head in three months, when it’s time to replace mine. The vibrations from the Sonicare can take some getting used to, but luckily it comes preset with the EasyStart feature turned on. EasyStart gently increases the power over your first fourteen brushings to help you adapt to brushing with the Sonicare. You can turn this feature off if you don’t want to wait fourteen brushings to experience the full power of your Sonicare. Another cool feature of the Sonicare is something they call the QuadPacer, an interval timer that has a short beep and pause to remind you to brush the four sections of your mouth evenly and thoroughly. It gives you thirty seconds to brush each section. The instruction booklet includes a diagram of teeth and how to divide it into the four sections. There is also a SmarTimer feature which turns off the toothbrush after two minutes of brushing, which is the minimum time recommended by Dental professionals. Personally, I don’t understand why they choose to set the timer to the minimum recommended time. Why shoot for the minimum? Also, the QuadPacer has you brush the front top, back top, front bottom, back bottom, then the timer goes off. It doesn’t offer time to brush the top and bottom chewing surfaces. You have to start the brush again to continue brushing. Either I’m not understanding this fully or they didn’t put much thought into the timing between the QuadPacer and the SmarTimer. Either way, it’s not that hard to press the button again and go for another round of brushing. The battery seems to last a long time, I’ve been using this for about five days now and have only charged it once, after I first got it. I’ll probably only charge it when the battery light indicator starts flashing at me, that way I don’t have to have a cord and charger sitting on my bathroom countertop all the time. Overall I’m very happy that I got this Sonicare toothbrush. Brushing just got a little more exciting and my teeth feel cleaner than ever before! I don’t think I’ll go back to a regular toothbrush again, unless I can’t find any new brush heads. We will see. 😉Orion

I had to replace a previous model which simply stopped working on the morning before a long business trip. I bought the top of the line “iO” (don’t let the branding design persuade you) it is a bit less noisy and frankly I like the job it does. However they built a very sloppy device. The carry case does not fit the device, once closed the case is difficult to open and the device is to big to fit in the case. It nearly fits but keeps the cover from closing making charging on travel require you to jam the case. Yes I have tried every position and it simply does not fit. Sign of crappy workmanship. The case is made of the cheapest possible material so as a traveling worker, its not a happy result. The brushes are a new design so I gave away several extras I had on hand; they were not cheap either. It comes with four brush heads, which fit fairly well but not as with the earlier models, As a clean freak, its irritating, because you have o clean out the connection where the brush head fits on the device every time as it weeps water after use when standing vertically on the home charger base. Also it is not locked or magnetized to the base therefore it needs secure space on your crowded sink area or it gets knocked off and does not charge. Final assessment: Bye Bye Oral B. Thanks P&G!RockHunter
I am over the moon when it comes to the Oral B io series 7G electric toothbrush. For years I have used a basic toothbrush and after using the Oral B 7G my mind is blown. I always said i was never missing out and boy was I. This elevated my brushing to another level unlike before. I always prided myself on oral care, but now it is truly oral care when using this magnificent electric toothbrush. It truly is a smart toothbrush it notifies you when you are not applying the correct amount of pressure to your teeth. The best part is the app giving you a breakdown of the areas your are properly brushing versus the areas you may need to focus on better. The different settings for brushing are awesome as well. With so many brushing options you can't help but love this toothbrush. Awesome charging station and carrying travel case as well. I can never buy a basic toothbrush again after the clean fresh and wonderful feeling I get from the Oral B io series 7G electric toothbrush.vdcoop1981
This is the worst electric toothbrush I have ever owned. The iO brush heads are different than the older Oral-B design. These iO brush heads have two holes at the top that allow prolific amounts of toothpaste and saliva to enter inside the stem on the brush head. But what is even more flawed is that there is a large third hole at the base that allows a lot of the toothpaste to leak out while brushing your teeth. This design makes it difficult to use without making a mess everywhere. The head design is also harder than it should be to keep clean, and quite frankly, it seems unhygienic to me. The connected app is somewhat of a gimmick to me. It always says that I am missing spots that I clearly and thoroughly brush over. I stopped using the app after a few weeks. I just switched back to my older Philips Sonicare. Not only do my teeth feel better after brushing with the Sonicare, but it was an absolute pleasure not to have messy toothpaste leaking out of the base of the brush head and making a mess everywhere while I brushed my teeth. Buying this toothbrush was a complete waste of money. I plan to stay with Philips Sonicare from now on.BriSN

Reviews:
I purchased this Braun smart 1500 rechargeable toothbrush as a replacement for an older Braun toothbrush, probably 10 years old, which recently died on me. It has several modes (different oscillation speeds), which my old one did not have. I just use the high speed, and brush for 2 minutes. I'm satisfied with the results of this product so far (only been using it for about a week now). Since they use the latest lithium battery technology, I'm expecting that the run time on a single charge will be much better than any experience that I've had thus far. And, the fact that it was available as an open-box item made it considerably less expensive ($39.00, I think it was) than it would have otherwise have been. Between toothbrushes and electric shavers, I have owned Braun products for probably about 30 years. They have good products. And, when considering their reliability and life expectancy, I consider them to be a good value as well.bast_1551
This is my first electric toothbrush and I’m mad it took me this long to level up! It gave me immediate results after the very first brushing straight out of the box. This feels like you just had a professional cleaning every single time you use it. It’s amazing! I really like that it has 3 cleansing speeds, and I can’t wait to try one of the interchangeable heads and use the whitening option. My teeth are so shiny and smooth! Can’t recommend this enough.janna.t
I have this product and use it daily. I purchased it at Walmart it was a good price point for the product that I was looking for and I've had one in the past. I had immediately before purchasing this bought the Walmart brand and it was extremely loud and I just couldn't get with it. The quality difference between the two products was definitely noticeable and I am glad I opted to get the brand. My front teeth are bonded and I see no damage or wear to them. I would recommend this product I think it's quality I've had it for about 6 months now and replace the head twice for sanitation purposes especially during covid and in general health. The replacements are affordable and not a problem.joann.b

Reviews:
As this is the first electric toothbrush I've tried, I've been using it daily for nearly two weeks now to give me a chance to acclimate to the differences between it and manual toothbrushes before posting my review. Unfortunately, I'm still not comfortable with the intense vibration that the oscillating head generates, even when on its slowest 'sensitive gums' setting. Because of the discomfort associated with this vibration, I might not be pressing the head strongly enough into my teeth and gums to get into the deep crevices that my manual toothbrush can reach, as it seems to often miss food particles there. Instances where the smooth plastic at the rear of the brush head comes into contact with my teeth are far more disturbing than normal contact with the bristles, and I manage to do this with every session of brushing. The fast speed of the oscillating head makes it very easy to accidentally spray saliva and toothpaste around the bathroom, which I still manage to do despite starting with the head placed against my teeth as instructed, and additionally turning the toothbrush off when switching between mouth quadrants. Despite the problems I have with this toothbrush, it does well at cleaning most areas of my teeth, and cleans the rear-facing surfaces of my teeth just as easily as other surfaces, where-as the rear surfaces have always been problematic for me with manual toothbrushes. I find the built-in 30 second quadrant and two minute session notifications to be very convenient, as I was not nearly as diligent and consistent with timing while using manual toothbrushes. It's nice to have different brushing modes available, but I wish these were more finely tunable using the associated app, especially regarding oscillation speed. The toothbrush is able to independently store information about quite a few brushing sessions, which it can then sync with the app at a later time, a very nice feature for those wanting to keep track of their brushing habits. I did not personally find the app's features to be of much use or interest, so it's not something I'd use regularly. As for unit design, the brush handle is not particularly ergonomic, but not at all cumbersome to use. The battery charging indicator light turns off when charging is complete; personally I'd prefer a solidly lit battery icon to indicate this status, but would have liked this to be configurable within the app. The tray that accommodates four brush heads–while a nice feature of the charging station–takes up a significant amount of valuable sink space; I would have preferred for this to have been a separate or detachable accessory. The contact-less charging design is a convenient feature, allowing for quick and worry-free docking, without having to worry about wiping the toothbrush and station dry beforehand. This toothbrush is well designed, easy to use, and includes many great features. Unfortunately, the intense vibration of the oscillating head is a major drawback for me personally, and I imagine will be for many other people as well.Gerbil
This toothbrush is great. Best improvement over previous versions is much longer battery life, can go an entire week brushing twice daily on one charge. The overall aethetic is also improved with a sleeker look and nice lighting pattern when powering on or off. Included travel case is also great, since the battery life is so good, there is no need to bring the charger with you for shorter trips. Bluetooth and app are nice, but after you use them once or twice, you probably won't again. I'm not sure how many people need to track the brushing habits on their phone. Once you start brushing, the brush movement pauses briefly every 30 seconds prompting you to move to a different quadrant of your mouth, and pauses for a longer time after 2 minutes to tell you you are done. Another improvement in this model is the different brushing modes, I only use the tongue massage for a few seconds at the end of my 2 minute normal brush. Brush heads are not too expensive to replace compared to similar models out there, so overall this is about as good an electric toothbrush as you can get.JoeBlow25
Got this Oral B toothbrush for my granddaughter. It has a ton of features that help her stay on track for keeping her teeth cleaned properly. The assortment of brushes available for different cleaning purposes is impressive, but ridiculously overpriced. It’s a toothbrush head! I have a similar model of Oral B and really don’t see any great difference between the different brushes. They all clean well. A great feature is the timer and the pulse intervals, which remind you when to change locations in your mouth. Also, the red light feature when you brush too hard is nice, considering most dentists say to stop injuring your gums. Holds a charge for approximately 5-6 days , one person, brushing twice a day. If you have room, you can just leave it plugged in all the time and not worry. Brush heads seem to last on average a month or two, again depending on how often you use it. Hers came with a travel pouch and a nice holder for multiple brush heads, all of which can have different color I’d rings so you know who’s whose. It has given her no trouble so far. Oral B is actually a brand I trust.Christine

This is the first electric toothbrush that I've ever had; it was a big change for me going from a manual to an electric one. The smart series is so cool! it helps you to reach your 2 minutes each brush and tells how long to stay on each section of the mouth. It works really well and makes me feel like i’m getting a really good clean! You can also choose what strength you want to brush your teeth with, just in case you have sensitive teeth. You can also brush for longer if you please. Or you can also connect it to the app that it recommends. Now, I can happily recommend to others and my husband too.rupneet.k
#review time: I found this product very efficient for every day use as it helps to brush your teeth the perfect way which is even recommended by the dentists. First,You have to download the Oral-B app in your smartphone and place your smart phone in the smart phone holder and attach it to your mirror. Then connect your phone with your tooth brush through blue tooth and turn on the app . Keep your face in front of the screen. The Oral B app helps you for a daily monitoring of your habits and personalised brushing routines. It helps you brush every area for the right amount of time, to never miss a zone. The intelligent brush handle have 5 different modes which are daily care, gum care, sensitive, whitening and pro clean mode for an extraordinary clean feeling. It also have personalisable multicolour smartring with real time visual coaching and pressure control. Its an effective way to look after your oral care hygiene by just following the instructions the app gives to you. Highly recommend.zarmina.b
I love Orab electric tooth brushes. I have been used since my dentists recommended me to use electric tooth brush on daily life. I never use other brand like Philip as it's pricy. My Orab electric tooth brushes are durable. I can use one for 10 years. Although I need to change brush every three months. It's great and effective to remove the stain when I drink tea or soy sauce so I got stains easily on my teeth.rachel.w

Reviews:
Just received this toothbrush a few days ago. It has some very nice features but a couple that I personally don't like so much. The good: I think it's a good value for the price compared to other brands. It seems to vibrate very quickly and efficiently without too much shaking. As far as I can tell, it seems to do a good job of cleaning the teeth and getting into tight areas. I like having the four different levels of vibrating. I also like that it doesn't have a small round brush like most other electric toothbrushes have. This brush is not giant, but it's bigger than the little round ones – I think the small round brushes take longer to clean your teeth with because you can only brush one tooth at a time. It's great that this toothbrush has a rechargable plug-in handle. I was concerned that it would flop over in the charging cup like the picture shows, but it seems to be able to stand up straight if you don't bump it. I don't think that I would want to use the cup to drink from after storing the toothbrush handle in it, but that's just my personal feeling. If you care about the looks of your toothbrush, this one is very elegant looking. I mostly bought this model because it comes with so many replacement brushes, as well as a brush cover for each brush. It also has a travel case. A few small things that I don't care for: First, I don't need anything to signal me when I have brushed long enough – I brush until I have covered all of the tooth surfaces sufficiently. This brush automatically pauses every 30 seconds to signal you to move to a different part of your mouth – it's not a long pause, but to me it's an uneccessary delay. Then after 2 minutes, the automatically brush shuts off completely. Since I always brush longer than that, I have to press the button to restart the toothbrush. Again, a minor annoyance. Would be nice to have the option to disable those timers, but not a deal-breaker for the toothbrush. Another little annoyance is that the instructions say that you should pull off the toothbrush head after each use to rinse and then dry the handle and the brush separately. It's easy to pull of the brush head from the handle, and I appreciate being able to clean under the brush, but it would be easier if you could just rinse and dry the whole thing without taking the head off. As long as this toothbrush has good durability which I will find out as time goes on, I think that it's overall a winner so far.Linda
I live this tooth brush. The overall feel of the handle is great. It’s lightweight, slim and has a soft material feel; not like your usual plastic. It comes with a case that holds all the extra heads and a plastic cover piece to place over the head you are currently using; very pleasing. The glass cup that is used to not only charge the brush wirelessly but also can be used to rinse; is very thick and made of great quality. It’s got a little weight to it which I like. I find it fascinating that you can put the brush right into the cup and it charges wirelessly. There are 2 settings to use when brushing your teeth, soft and medium and I love that I have that option to switch between the two without having to change the brush. It feels great on my teeth and I am beyond happy with this brush. I would highly recommend it to all my friends and family.Craftmom23
I did A LOT of research before buying a new toothbrush. And I love this toothbrush. I can't express how crazy i am about my teeth. 3 mouth washes, 2 tooth pastes and 2 toothbrushes, kind of crazy, okay? The good news? This has cut down my ritual to 1 toothbrush! It's a little aggressive at the beginning, i would suggest taking it easy on the pressure to get your gums used to it, but it's fantastic! I use the clean mode and whitening mode the most. The extra bristles are awesome and the fact you can use ones from another high end brand to replace if needed in a pinch is cool, too.Chandraljjp

Overall the Hum smart rythm battery powered toothbrush by Colgate is a really great product. From the brushing teeth to the smart app, the hum provides a unique approach to a daily routine. It is fun to look forward to the progress being made with the smart feature and to see what rewards you may potentially earn just for brushing your teeth. As nice at it is for camping and having extra batteries readily available, the same is not for hôtels and traveling, As well as at home. I felt that for these situations a battery is unnecessary and wasteful. With that being said, i would like to have the option of recharging the product and having a battery back it up, only if the charge runs out. This way you can use it manually, recharge it, or use a battery. Otherwise the smart hum is a fun powerful, entertaining device. I would definitely recommend it for children, especially to learn better brushing habits.Matone5
This is a great vibrating toothbrush that took some getting used to. Coming from an electric recharging toothbrush that does not pulse only, I had to get used to a minor change in brushing techniques. My mouth feels clean, but a different kind of clean, almost as if a steam clean versus vacuum with rolling brushes clean. The vibrating settings allow user to choose the intensity which is great. The accompanying app ensures you have full coverage or if you need to make adjustments and tweak your original routine or technique. My lips, tongue, teeth, mouth and gums received a great massaged feeling afterwards. The first time I used it my gums did bleed slightly in a couple areas, which was incredibly abnormal for me, but very minor, and did not happen again after continued usage. The brush head is soft and smaller and would work great for even those with sensitive teeth or problem areas as you're not really being abrasive to your teeth, unless your preferred paste is more abrasive.Brian5
My biggest disappointment in this toothbrush has been with connection issues. In 48 days of bushing, 7 of my sessions have not been recorded. The first was because our wifi wasn't connected to the internet when I syned. This didn't recorded one guided brushing and two offline. The second time I dropped my toothbrush in the sink, and I guess it disconnected from the app till I tried to sync it a day or so later. At least 3 sessions were lost then, maybe more. The last time was tonight, and I have no idea why it didn't sync this time. I have tried turning the brush off and back on and restarting the app. Each time a notification to "collect smiles" popped up with the recorded time which I clicked, but no points were added and the brushings were not recorded. Not sure if I'm the only one with this problem because there is nothing about it in the help center. But it's really frustrating especially when I'm trying to track brushing and get more consistent. I'm someone who benitifs from visual feedback to meet goals. On the brush itself: I have been wanting an electric toothbrush for quite some time. I don't have anything to compare Hum to, but I think it works pretty well. The app has some neat fetures that tell you that days you brush best on, track brushing (and flossing and mouthwash) gives you points towards refills, and more. I chose this brush over others specifically for the app features.Eryn

I am a fan of the hum by Colgate Smart Rechargable Electric Toothbrush. The kit includes one handle, one brush head, one charger and one travel case. The toothbrush is a lavender purple color and comes in bright coral packaging. The toothbrush uses sonic vibrations to clean my teeth. It is a connected brush and the app is easy to download and install. Using the app helps you to target areas that need extra cleaning. There are three modes on the handle that include normal, sensitive and deep clean so you can customize the cleaning modes to your personal needs. There is also a two minute timer to let you know exactly how long you need to brush. The battery is rechargeable and maintains a charge for up to 10 days. I feel like I get a better clean when using this brush and system. The app tracks your brushing history and guided brushing and identifies any spots that you missed. I downloaded the app from the Apple app store and use it on my iPhone.Aironrose8

This toothbrush is like having your own personal assistant brushing your teeth, seriously ! First thing I noticed when I opened it was the smart display screen. It greets you with a Hello as soon as you turn it on and then you select a language. There are several options to choose from when brushing your teeth such as sensitive etc. I really appreciate that because with sensitive teeth that setting allows me to brush my teeth properly without worrying about tooth pain. It automatically detects when you pick it up too ! It comes with a charging port that you can plug in to any outlet. To get the maximum benefits you download the Oral B app and connect it to your Bluetooth and it automatically detects your brushing and even tells you if you're brushing too hard, or too soft. The light on the toothbrush will also change colors to indicate this; if it turns red you are brushing too hard. It takes a little getting used to with all the fancy technology but once you get comfortable there's no going back!Janet96
I heard great things about electric toothbrushes. I have used manual & battery toothbrush's. They both are good, bt doesn't deep clean my teeth. I knew i needed a power electric toothbrush made from a good brand. This one by Oral-B has lot of great features including 5 Smart Modes for personalized brushing: Daily Clean, Whitening, Gum Care, Sensitive, and Intense. All of which i need for my teeth. When i need my teeth cleaned a certain way i can change modes. Very powerful. Cleans my teeth so good. Great quality. Also has Bluetooth where i can connect to the app to control my brushing, how nice! Nice travel case it comes with too. All great features in this electric toothbrush. Excellent! So if u are like myself & in need/want a good electric toothbrush, that has plenty of nice features, that really deep cleans your teeth with deep cleaning + whitening, then i suggest try this Oral-B iO Series 6 Power Electric Toothbrush, cause it works great!MissSmileyGal1978
I bought this toothbrush in April. I’ve used it every day. It’s awful and I hate it. You have to tilt your head back and keep your mouth open- to keep spit and plaque from going absolutely everywhere. If you try to brush your teeth with your mouth closed like a normal person, y’know, trying to keep splatter off the mirror, this toothbrush has a super fun “spit fountain” exploding feature that will leave your hand absolutely covered in spit. Not to mention it gets gross after just one use. After washing it and your hands off, it will leave a gross ring of water and toothpaste scum wherever you set it down even if you’ve dried it off. There is a HUGE design flaw gap between the brush head and the handle and I’m surprised oral b is still selling this toothbrush. If I could return this stupid thing and get a better model I would in a heartbeat. It sucks. I spent over a hundred dollars on a toothbrush and it disappoints me every single day twice per day. Don’t buy this toothbrush, save your money.Liz L

Reviews:
I have been using this toothbrush for a week and have throughly enjoyed it. It is light and well-balanced in the hand, and stimulates my gums while it cleans and whitens my teeth. You pick it, turn it on, and re-press the "on" button to toggle through its several modes: Clean, White, Polish and Sensitive. Clean is the default mode, White concentrates on surface stains caused by coffee and tea, and Polish impoves the gloss of your teeth by changing the vibration intensity. Sensitive is for those who find the other modes too stimulating- I didn't and enjoyed the stimulation from each. I am quite pleased with the results. My teeth and gums are clean and refreshed. It will take longer than a week to show how much this device whitens my teeth, but it does use LEDs to hasten the whitening, and I am confident my caffeine- stained teeth will benefit. An interesting feature of this device is intelligent brushing. It pauses briefly after operating for 30 seconds so that you can change quadrants and cover all four (Upper right, upper left, lower right and lower left) over the course of the two-minute reccomended miniumum brushing time. I have two crticisms, neither of which should be a deal killer. First, the packaged instructions for charging the device are inccorrect. You are advised to charge the device for 12 hours before the first time use, and to turn it on before placing it in the base for charging. When you turn it on, the brush function starts. It would be ridiculous to place an operating tootbrush, motor running and LEDs illuminated, in the charging stand, but that is what happens when you turn the device on. So ignore that directive. You are also advised that when you have placed the device in the base that the base will blink green to indicate charging. My base did not. It blinked red. When I returned from work and checked, the LED was solid green. If the specifications are correct, the full charge should last 30 days. To keep the device always charged, the instructions reccomend keeping the toothbrush on the charger when not in use. A USB-C to USB-A cable is supplied to attach the base to a DC source. My second criticism is that you will need a find a charger with a 5V output to charge the toothbrush. I used a retired iPad charger for the initial charge, and it worked fine, but I consider the ommission of a DC power source a disappointing packaging decision by the manufacturer, and deducted a star from my rating because of it. The toothbrush is fine one, though, and highly-reccomended for the great job it does. I expect to use it for years to come.mobilelawyer
The Snow electric toothbrush differs from the other electric toothbrushes out there by not only cleaning teeth, but also providing whitening function by the built-in LED light. That’s the feature I was mostly interested in after getting this brush. Unfortunately that may be a long term effect as after using it for almost a month, I am yet to see any noticeable difference. Now that may differ from person to person, since in my case my teeth did not need any noticeable whitening to begin with. Other than that the basic functionality of the toothbrush is as what it's supposed to be. The “sonic” technology seems to work quite well in cleaning. The button let’s me choose from 4 different modes – clean, white, sensitive, and polish. I have tried out all four, and did feel the difference in the vibration. I don’t have super sensitive teeth/gum so I’m not in the best position to judge whether “sensitive” mode is effective or not. The timer is useful to make sure all parts of the mouth are given equal attention- there’s a noticeable change in pulse to indicate I have done my 30 second brushing for each “quadrant” of the teeth so I can fully utilize my 2 minutes and do my due diligence. The brush has a fairly long lasting rechargeable battery, and comes with a wireless charging base. However, only a USB charging cable is provided in the box – no charging brick. Now I understand the trend to get rid of “redundant” USB chargers (yes indeed I have a number of them lying around), but since I want to charge my toothbrush in the bathroom, I have to keep one near my sink which is not always ideal. I wish for the price being charged for the toothbrush a well-designed “bathroom proof” wall charger would be appreciated. The kit comes with two “LED” brush heads, so that makes me supplied for the next 4-5 months, and I found the replacement brush-head price decent. I would appreciate it more if there’s a cheaper “non-LED” option just in case you’re not interested in all these whitening functionality. A cloth travel pouch is also given, but I wish I had a solid travel case instead. In summary, the Snow LED electric toothbrush is more relevant for people who want to use the LED whitening feature. Other than that it doesn’t have anything that set’s it far apart from regular electric brushes.Jack
A toothbrush is a toothbrush, right? The Snow LED Electric Toothbrush tries to sell itself with a unique tooth whitening blue LED light and that’s what made me give the product a try. Here’s what I thought about it. First off you’ll notice the presentation of the device is absolutely fantastic. I received a gift/storage bag along with a premium quality box. As you can see in the pictures, the product is packaged and presented like the premium quality toothbrush it’s advertised as. You receive the tooth brush, 2 LED brush heads, a charging stand and a USB-C charging cable. What I wish was included for the price was a USB charging brick. The toothbrush and brush head is built well, has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap when it’s sonic vibrations kick in. There is no rattle or noise other than what you’d expect from the device. Now let’s get to the actual brushing! The toothbrush itself feels good to use, there are 4 modes to choose from Clean, Whiten, Polish, and Sensitive. All of them do slightly different things, but I’m a basic kind of guy so I just mostly used the “Clean” setting and ran with that. The brush head is very thin stem, which is nice as some electric toothbrushes have thicker stems that make them awkward to use like a regular toothbrush. You’ll come out of the 2 minute brush cycle with very clean feeling teeth, even if the brush head itself feels a bit softer than most other soft brush heads. The softness of the brush doesn’t seem to affect how it leaves my teeth feeling, so I’m okay with that aspect of it. The sonic action feels right and the pressure of it feels just right. As for the blue light LED, well that’s where I’m not fully convinced. The blue light LED is what really differentiates this device from all the other sonic toothbrushes on the market and I wish I could say that I notice anything happening from that function, but I don’t yet. This may just be something that comes to light the longer I use it, but during my testing for this review I can’t say that I felt the toothbrush was whitening my teeth any better because of the blue light. Overall I think this is a good first attempt at a toothbrush from SNOW. I do wish they’d give you a whitening chart to compare your whitening progress for a product that is trying to sell you on it’s whitening effectiveness. I really can’t find any other complaints other than value. There are a lot of toothbrushes to be had for a much lower price than the SNOW and with cheaper replacement brush heads as well. Other than the questionable value of the blue light whitening this product is pretty solid toothbrush.KMed
