Pros: Large tank. Extra head accessories. Removes stuck food from between teeth. Cons: Better build quality is needed. The water tube to the handle is very flimsy and looses it shape & feels cheap and nasty. Makes it awkward to use. I’d upstate the tube with a rubber tube instead… The button on the handle is counter productive. It stops water from coming out the nozzle Whitchurch is good but the machine also turns off when it’s pressed. It needs to be more reliable to just pause water for a moment so you can switch positions as if I wanted to turn off the machine I can just use the main power button… The unit needs more storage for all head accessories to his in the machine as it can only has storage fir 2 when the units comes with 6 – so 3 heads are just laying around on the windowsill & get lost… The value is not right. It’s overpriced for what it is… I was excited better quickly for what I paid. I was going to buy Philips sonic air. This combo comes with one full size flosser that has multiple settings to clean and it has good water pipe managed from tangling it. After using it each time, it has magnetic on holder to keep it in place. The portable flosser is good to use it in other bathroom and it can use it while vacation or travel. It provides a nice powerful spray. It can facilitate mouth washes. It is quite compact, unlike the pictures you see advertising it. I easily use to 3/4 off the bowl when I floss with it. I definitely wish the bowl was larger. It comes with several tips for flossing. It is easy to push the release button of the tips because it is so close to the on/off button. That design needs some attention. But overall, the flosser is effective.Clare

It literally felt like we left the dentist after trying it out. I do recommend using the water feature on the lowest setting to start out because it comes out really fast and a little harsh. The extra accessories work great. I really love the lighted mirror. I could not believe how much better I can see the inside of my mouth now. The toothbrush part worked great, just make sure you charge it for 24 hours like directions state. I really liked how the directions are very clear and easy to understand. The brush heads are even color coded to avoid confusion and are stored with a cover to keep germs, etc out. I'm actually keeping the original box that it came in because it is in color and explains every piece so well. There are so many parts to it, so I don't want to miss any of the benefits. I am really impressed with this dental center- I was worried that it would be literally all built-in, but it's basically the two machines (toothbrush and irrigator), and a stand that holds those & all of the accoutrements in a compact fashion. This means that you can disassemble everything and CLEAN them, which, if you have a family, you KNOW you're going to have to! The whole thing is well-thought-out- the irrigator (water flosser) has multiple attachments, and provides power on a par with a well-known name brand (rhymes with cotter flick). The toothbrush setup is clever, too, in that you don't have to have multiple handle units plugged in all the time, drawing "zombie" electricity for no good reason! The downside to this is that, since you're sharing your handle and irrigator with the whole fam, you'll likely have to clean more often, but really, shouldn't we all be doing that anyway? This is a triumph of compact and intelligent design- two thumbs up! 🙂leopardstripes

The Waterpik WP-560 cordless water flosser is so simple to use straight out of the box. I love how simple it is to put together and quickly charge. It is cordless which by default makes it very portable and convenient. It fits easily on small bathroom countertops. I ended up buying 2, one for my husband and one for myself as it works magic on my teeth. I love how clean my teeth feel after using this product. I used to own the traditional system with a cord but this cordless feature is by far the best. It has 3 modes of spray, low/med/high, each with a powerful burst of water. It takes less than 4 hours of charge through the rapid charge system. I love the waterproof design as you should expect that there will be a lot of water spraying all over the unit once the process begins. It effectively removes plaque and is very effective in improving my gum health. The tip is rotatable so it is easy to adjust the positioning within my mouth. I also love that it comes with a travel bag to take on the road with me. The reservoir is easy to fill up and clean as it is removable from the unit. Excellent quality product.Marisha5

This is my third Water-Pik water flosser in about 4 years. The first one quit taking a charge. The second one also had a battery problem. I had to clean them frequently as they grew mold. So you may ask me "why do I keep buying them"? Because they are the best on the market. Water-Pik replaced my first one at no charge. They are easy to travel with. They take up little space on the counter. I don't have to manage a cord. And most importantly, they keep my gums and teeth in good shape. I've registered this one, so if it doesn't last long, I'll exercise my warranty again. Between the price coming down since I bought my first one, and Water-Pik making good on their warranty, I can live with the pro-rated cost per day for all the positives I get from it!SheriK

Pros: Cleans between my teeth very well and is very convenient to use once you get the hang of it which did not take very long (less than a week).Cleans much more out from between my teeth and under my gum line than flosing does. I use the waterpic after each meal as I am very conscious of the hazards to dental bone structure caused by food debris between the teeth and under the gum line ( just as important as brushing your teeth for long term teeth health).Very portable and only requires water to operate so I can easily take it to work or on holiday. A single charge will run the waterpic for a few days.The unit is sealed so fully water proof. Three power settings so I can adjust the intensity to my preferences.Mostly feels strong and robust. I love this product it is great. Cons: The hatch to load water into the reservoir has a plastic hinge, it feels a little bit delicate and plastic is not good for fatigue loading (small load intensity but applied frequently) so over time it will likely fatigue and fail (I use this before brushing my teeth and after every meal so circa 5 times per day) but this is a sign of how much I really like it. I have rather clumsy stubby fingers compared to most people so the hinge's delicacy might not be an issue for most other people. I bought this water flosser and loved it. Told my Mom about it she wanted one so I bought her one also she loved it. But………. I had it a little under a year and it stopped working so I took it back to Meijers and they let me get a re-placement. Here I am again a little over a year and it stopped working again. I am so bummed was at Meijers last night and they do not carry this product anymore so I decided to look it up on your sight and see if there is something I can do to get it to work again? Found nothing since its been over a year (I think) you will not re-place it? I want another one but again if it stops working after a year it will be the 3rd one? The Waterpik itself worked great! I HIGHLY recommend purchasing one!!! (Especially if you have braces like me) The problem with this model in particular is that its battery powered, and you have to change the batteries out every 10-11 days. I bought this one because it was significantly cheaper than most models but honestly, when you have to purchase 3 new batteries every 10 days, you've spent as much as you would on a countertop model within the span of a few months. Don't waste your money, just buy a better one. You get what you pay for.Klaira

Looks like it is more aimed for customers who are happy with the bigger product but are buying an extra to carry with them when they travel outside USA. I suggest that the product is also aimed towards customers like me who are using this to try flossing. Could have been better if we could choose the nozzle type or options provided to buy extra nozzles at discounted prices. I got 2 off the standard type. I've been using Philips Sonicare toothbrushes for a number of years now, and I won't spend a ton of time in my review on the toothbrush itself. This product is set up just like I would expect from any other Sonicare product. The integration of the base for the flosser and the toothbrush charger is a nice feature, and it saves space on the counter. I mention this because you won't have any choice but to put it on the counter – it takes up some substantial room! After having previously used a Waterpik flosser that was a little messy, this is a nice change of pace. Philips has applied the same idea with the changeable toothbrush heads to their flossing system, and the tips are replaceable. The handle of the flosser is the same form factor as the tooth brushes and the water tube is self retracting nicely into the base. It's also long enough to give you some working room when you want to floss, even though you won't want to wander far from the sink anyway while you're using one of these. Multiple cleaning modes and pulsing to the water stream serve similar functions as the toothbrushing letting you know when it's time to change sides. Of course refilling the tank is dependant upon how often and for how long you use the flosser, but during my first few weeks I got at least 3 days out of each fill before I had to refill it. None of the modes are painful on my gums, and the deep clean feels like it is making a difference on my teeth and gums. The added inclusion of the Sonicare toothbrush as well really tops this one off. The included brush has the 3 modes – Clean, Deep Clean and Gums, and it's compatible with the wide range of Sonicare heads as well. This is the brush that I had already replaced most of my family's with (or one similar) and I loved that there is a charger for it on the base of the flosser. Overall this is well made, and garners the room that it takes up on the counter. I love being able to answer "YES!" when the hygienist asks me if I've finally gotten around to flossing…dronedad

UNBOXING: The unboxing experience of the Sonicare Power Flosser & Toothbrush System is pretty straightforward. In the box, you receive the Power Flosser machine and removable reservoir, 3 flossing nozzles plus a nozzle case; the toothbrush plus brush head, and travel case, and also a travel charger. There are also two manuals—one for the flosser and one for the toothbrush. I do recommend going through some of the details, as it explains some functionality that you might not otherwise realize if you skip the manual. BUILD: Overall, it’s a very plastic build, but that’s to be expected. The flosser is lightweight in the hand and while it’s permanently attached to the system, the tubing easily retracts into place, so you won’t be hassled with the cleanup. The water reservoir is easily lifted up without any sort of latching mechanism, and the reservoir door swings up from the top so you can refill the reservoir with ease. I found this to be very easy to work with. You just want to take care to hold the reservoir at the base rather than near the reservoir door so that you don’t accidentally lose grip and spill water everywhere. The pressure level knob on the flossing system has a very gentle clicking feedback when you turn it in order to indicate changes to the pressure level. The Power and Mode buttons, however, are a bit annoying to press because the system doesn’t quite weigh enough to prevent it from sliding across the counter while you press the buttons. So more often, I find myself using my thumb to press the buttons while wrapping my fingers around the flosser for support. This is such a nit-pick thing, but something at least worth noting for Philips to improve upon—whether it means using capacitive buttons or adding more friction at the base so the whole thing doesn’t slide across your sink countertop. The toothbrush certainly weighs more than the flosser, but was comfortable in the hand, the buttons were easy to press, and it was easy to attach/detach brush heads. And I certainly like that it can be charged by simply dropping it on the Power Flosser’s dedicated charging station as well as the basic travel charger. FLOSSER: Starting with the Power Flosser, you have 4 different flossing modes—clean, deep clean, sensitive and massage. Clean mode pushes water out in rapid succession like a machine gun, while Deep Clean mode starts gentler and ramps up to a peak then abruptly starts over from gentle and ramps up again. This makes it sort of confusing as to why the more brutal Clean mode is not called “Deep Clean”. If I had to guess, Philips might have found that people were more attracted to the name “Deep Clean”, but didn’t want to associate their most brutal mode with the one that people would likely use the most, as this could yield negative results if people found it to be too painful. Whatever the reasoning is, between those two I think the “Deep Clean” mode is probably more comfortable mode at higher pressure levels, while the normal “Clean” mode may yield discomfort at high pressure levels. Your mileage may vary based on the condition of your teeth and gums. Sensitive is much more like Deep Clean, but it actually oscillates by starting gently then ramping up to its peak, then ramping back down to gentle pressure, and repeats that cycle. Massage mode is more like the Clean mode, but switches between a high pressure blast and a lower pressure blast but in a consistent, rapid succession. Realistically, I think you’ll find one or two you like and generally stick with them. Overall, I think these modes are really just a matter of preference towards comfort. Additionally, there are 3 nozzles included which can spray in multiple directions. I’m honestly not sure how necessary this is, as the standard single-direction nozzle can provide the highest pressure for a deeper clean. As long as you are decently thorough, I think that is probably all that is necessary. Compared to conventional flossing, I do think this does a good job at being convenient and accessible. I recently visited my dentist who told me I should floss more. So I started flossing more with traditional floss and floss picks, but found it somewhat difficult in terms of reach. Not only that, but it was also a more time-consuming activity, which I think detracts a lot of people from flossing on a daily basis. Interestingly, studies have shown that most people don’t have great flossing techniques. Experts believe that a good flossing technique should be more effective than a waterpik solution, but on average, those who use a waterpik end up removing 17% more plaque than those who only use traditional floss. So while experts might not recommend a waterpik solution to be a pure substitute for traditional flossing, it does appear to be more effective on average because it’s easier to do. And in my pragmatic opinion, having a convenient way of flossing daily is better than not flossing at all. Overall, I did find the Power Flosser to be quite effectXephyroth

Philips Sonicare Power Flosser and Toothbrush System is an absolute deal and a complete system for you to keep your teeth and gums happy and healthy. I have had a week with the new 7000 series products and being an already end user of Sonicare products, I wanted to see the improvements Philips has made since 2018 when I purchased my last products. The Toothbrush is great as I expected matching and honestly beating the 2018 version when it comes to the feel on my teeth. I feel that Philips changed the intensity of the vibration to a true 3 level system for low, medium and high. The picture I included shows the original on the left and new on the right. My original is hard to notice much difference between low, medium and high. The updated brush besides looking better, had a much more prominent difference between the 3 power levels. Also, the 2022 version uses the same replacement head structure, which is great, because now my wife can have the old one an stock leaving my brush heads on the sink to fall on the floor. The Power Flosser has a charging base for the toothbrush but due to my bathroom design, we do not have the counter space to keep the power flosser on top. Luckily, Philips includes another individual base to keep that brush charged daily and I must say, hats off to them for including that extra charging base, helps for traveling too. The flosser is great, the white tipped cleaner is my favorite already, making sure my molars are clean of heavy foods before brushing and rinsing. The white tip on level 6 power gets pulled pork loose and I have yet to go over that power level. The clear tip also forces out heavy foods just as well as the other two, just no guard or tip protection like the other 2 included tips. The purple tip seems to work best for me on for the backside of my front teeth. With the Power Flosser, here comes the main reason for the 4 stars and not the 5 it almost deserved. The base is great with the power connector under the unit and a cord routing channel as well. It is great but not perfect, meaning, here are the 2 reasons for the 4 stars. First, the wound up water carrying tube is horribly stiff, making me pull over the base 3 times in a week spilling water all over my feet. The tube does not flex or pull out easy and this is because they need it to stay its shape for storage as they picture. This makes the reach very hard for tall people like myself, in turn, makes me have to bend over to the point I cannot look in the mirror to see what I am doing. Secondly, the water container falls off so easy making it very frustrating when putting away or if you move wrong and it all of a sudden is no longer giving you water. Philips could easily fix this with a little latch or magnets. Being a house that is old. our sinks are small, so I have to store this in the closet and every night for the past week, the top has fallen off when setting on the closet shelf, it is truly a frustrating design of the Power Flosser. The Power Flosser does make up for most of the hassle with its function and power, but, these 2 things keep it from a 5 star all day long in my house. So, to finish out, here is some Pros and Cons to the Philips Sonicare 7000 series products. Pros: Power to clean out hard foods Brush works perfectly as every other Sonicare and better to be honest Same heads as all other Sonicare brushes Integrated brush charging base Included Separate charging base Great looks and easy to clean Cons: Water Tube stiff making it difficult for tall people Water container falls off way too easily So, if you have a nice place to store or a sink large enough to keep this on top all the time, this is a perfect fit and you will love the Philips 7000 Series Sonicare products. I have found the Waterpik water flosser is much more effective than flossing at getting to the tightly closed areas between teeth. I have problems with Gingivitis as I have gotten older. The water flosser removes most of the food and plaque from in between my teeth and I can see a visible improvement in gum health. It cleans deep between my teeth and gum line. I use a mix of water and mouthwash in the reservoir which leaves my mouth fresh tasting for quite a while. The water flosser took practice to get more water in mouth than on me. It has different water pressure settings so you can get used to a lower setting until you are ready to move up one setting. I recommending using this water flosser, along with regular flossing. I bought this for my husband and he actually uses it and likes it. The tank is large enough that it doesn’t have to be refilled daily. The toothbrush works well and the water flosser has sufficient power to get the job done. It takes up about 5 inches on the bathroom counter. Really liked how clean it feels when done being used. Not too much of a learning curve but is a little tricky at first to learn how to avoid shooting the water unintentionally. Love that there were four different tips included, even if I mostly just use the plaque seeker. Nice long life battery that lasts all week. Only downside is that the water tank is small (well..it is portable/travel size & cordless so I get it) and so you need to fill it about four times for a whole mouth cleaning on the low pressure setting and maybe 5 or more when using the high pressure (I don’t use it like that all the time though cause it’s pretty forceful).K.F.

My hygienist recommended this product and it really is excellent. Much faster, easier and more effective than using dental floss or interdental sticks. I have small gaps between my teeth and the powerful jet of water really clears any debris between my teeth, stopping plaque from building up. My gums used to bleed a little when brushing/flossing and this has stopped during the 20 days I've been using the Waterpik. The only issue is I have to fill up the 200ml reservoir with water twice per use to get all my teeth properly done, not really an issue as this only takes a couple of seconds. Each fill lasts around 45seconds. The battery lasts quite a long time too, I haven't had to charge it in the 20days I've had it. Highly recommend.Jessie MK

This is a Christmas gimmick gadget like all the others that stay in the cupboard afterwards. 1. The pressure is nowhere near sufficient to 'floss' teeth as it claims – even on the highest setting. It's nothing more than a messy (see below) and glorified mouth rinse. 2. The water tank runs out after about 3 teeth if attempting to floss to the same level of cleanliness as ordinary floss. So you're constantly refilling – and that includes fiddling about to get the temperature exactly right each time. It's horrible, verging on painful, if the water's too cold. 3. The mess!!! OMG! both myself and my husband were drenched by the water (a) from the nozzle and (b) out of your mouth – the instructions keep telling you to close your mouth while using – guess I didn't appreciate the significance of that one! I'm sure like anything you get used to it with practise – but I don't feel like practising with something I can see will never be as effective as promised. (If you have a small basin, you might have to do it over the kitchen sink). 4. The size – it's a big, clunky thing to hold – especially annoying as it holds nothing like enough water or has a powerful enough motor – wouldn't mind it being heavy if it had some power!! Just really poor design. 5. Charging? There's no light so you've no idea whether it's charged or not. I use the Waterpik countertop version at home and I really like it. This "portable" flosser works fine but I am a little disappointed in it. Firstly, it is large… much larger than my old flosser, so it takes up more room in my luggage. The reservoir, which seems to be very large, has to be filled up four times on average for each flossing. I do use the "high" setting so that might contribute to volume of water used but on my old flosser, I could finish the job with just two refills. Lastly, even on the high setting, I personally don't think the pressure is high enough. This is my personal preference and I'm sure many users will like the lower settings.RussB

This is a really terrible cordless water flosser for the money. It is very cheaply made. The speed changing switch you can't even tell if it's on low or high and it doesn't seem to make an apparent difference switching it either way. The water tank is closed off so you are unable to easily clean it. There is no charging indicator so you really have no idea when it's fully charged. I would not recommend this cordless water flosser at all. If you want a cordless water flosser I would get the Waterpik Ion Professional instead. Or if you don't mind the cords just get a countertop plug in one.trailblazer15

I have never been successful with dental floss too harsh on my sensitive gums, or worrying about yanking a filling out when the tape gets stuck between my teeth. I have on the advice of my dentist tried the little brushes only for to them bend out of shape – utterly useless. A friend mentioned she has a water flosser and she was pleased with hers so I thought I would give this ago… I have never flossed so much in my life. This is brilliant, gets a lot of debris out of my teeth and my mouth feels so much cleaner. I use it on the sensitive setting and it works fine, just be sure to use warm water though especially if you have sensitive teeth. I use the standard nozzle and the tongue cleaner attachment and very pleased with the results. I haven't used the other nozzles so can't comment on those. Charge it once a week (it comes with a three pin plug ) and just fill with water when you use it. So far I am happy with it and pleased that I can floss with out worry.Williams

I bought this to replace the phillips airfloss that I had for years which is easier to use than this waterpik. The waterpic I purchased did not work. I thought I was doing something wrong. I read the instructions, which must of been written by a lawyer. No where in the manual did it say that turning the switch to on would make the water come out. The airfloss had an on switch and you pushed a button to make the water come out. Having the button makes the sonicare much easier to use. After I returned the unit and got one that worked I found that I was very likely to turn off the switch after removing the waterpik from my mouth. The water went all over the room. I think this is why many of the reviewers use it in the shower. I did not have this problem with the sonicare. It was much easier to find out that waterpik felt that I agreed to an arbitration agreement by buying their product than to find the instruction for how the appliance worked. The arbitration agreement was on its own page in very easy to read print. I finally found the instructions on a very small pamphlet which had fallen out of the box. These were the quick start instructions which were about two inches by one inch. It was so small I had to put reading glasses on to read it and did not notice that it had fallen on the floor from the box. I did not have to put my reading glasses on to read the arbitration agreement. They should hire more product designers to make the product more useable and fewer Lawyers.FrequentWalmartShopper
