This steam-distilled version of the Lemon essential oil is almost identical to the Lemon scent of great quality that you can come to expect from the PT brand. The aroma is a tad sweeter, but is essentially the same. A nice benefit to having both this oil and the the regular Lemon is that this one is not phototoxic, so you can rest much easier when you put this oil in a product that you then put on your skin. Body lotions, body washes, in detergent, etc. I think it's as much an essential as regular Lemon and I recommend getting both Steam Distilled version of Lemon and Lime. Good for everything! I especially like blending w/ peppermint and eucalyptus during cold season or when we have allergies. A single drop rubbed on my hands and smoothed through my hair adds salon level shine(I know everyone recommends diluting, but I don’t for this use and I haven’t died yet). I also add a few drops of Rosemary, Lavender & Cedar to my homemade dry shampoo for dark hair. Recipe: Mix equal parts arrowroot, organic cornstarch & cacao powder. Add a generous dash of cinnamon. Add a couple drops each of Rosemary(ylang ylang is better for blonde hair, Rosemary for dark. Using both brings out a lot of naturss as l highlights over time), lavender, and cedar eo, mixing between drops. Let air dry for a while and then transfer to a clean recycled spice jar shaker. I make several parts in day old hair and brush it in with a kabuki brush(or any fluffy makeup brush). Use a scalp massager or finger tips to finish distributing. Brush out. I’ve used it for years and it’s my favorite dry shampoo, but also adds a great natural shine and smell!

This product clarifies your sinuses- among other things! I actually LOVED this tea tree oil. I used it as a hair/scalp oil about once a week. I grew to adore the tingles from the oil and my hair was shiny and thriving. I went through a number of bottles with this routine. I did eventually stop. I cannot tell you why because I do not remember. I ran out of product and for whatever reason did not buy more. That said, I do recommend it. It is a great scalp treatment, which is my experience with it; I know others who use it for acne treatments; it is a fabulous beard oil; there are 100s more uses for the oil! It does of course smell strongly – especially in this form where it is not diluted by any other scent, but I found it refreshing and delightful. Still, be advised if scent bothers you.
I always try to have some tea tree oil around since it has so many uses. This particular one is of excellent quality! I use it on skin for blemishes, rashes, bug bites?I also use it in humidifiers during the winter to keep the water clean. I recently discovered another amazing use for it! I received a bunch of fresh cut roses for my birthday and used a few drops of tea tree oil in the water after running out of the plant food that was included with them. I love Rosemary, but all the essential oils I try never have the real scent of rosemary, but this one is better than most. it has a pleasant scent, but not overly done. I use this essential oil to stimulate hairgrowth. Rosemary is scientifically proven to be as effective as minoxidil. You do want to use this sparingly though, as it is very concentrated. I found that this somewhat helped with my dandruff and scalp dryness as I apply a few drops of this to my shampoo. I also like to add some drops to my deep conditioner for extra benefits. This smells horrible. Not the regular, strongly astringent smell tea tree oil always has–which I know some don't care for, but ordinarily I like its aroma. This one stinks so bad I'm afraid to use it. I still had a smidge left in a previous bottle (different brand), so I compared in case my nose was just off. Nope, this oil reeks. I have this product in the Top 8 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. The 8 essential oils include Lavender, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Rosemary, Orange, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, and Frankincense. This is a must have set in your repertoire of essential oils! The oils come in a very nice box with the names of the oils and some of their uses on the inside lid. Very classy and would make a great gift! I teach a class on essential oils and as always Radha has not disappointed me with their oils. They are 100% pure and will pass any of the tests to determine if it's pure including putting a drop on a piece of paper and letting it dry. You will never find a stain. I bought this a couple weeks ago. I’ve used it about 4 times a week since then. The oil quality itself is nice, especially because I have dry skin and it gives a nice even layer of hydration without feeling super heavy. But I do agree with a lot of these other reviews about the smell. The most accurate smell I can assign it is raw chicken, which is worrying considering this is supposed to be a vegan product. I also have a hard time believing that they tested this on humans and there wasn’t at least one person who pointed out the smell? It’s also something my husband notices when kissing my face, that it smells bad (at least he’s honest haha). But yeah, definitely recommend that the ordinary changes up this recipe, because the smell will deter me from getting this product again.SydKat
I will start off by saying the product feels nice; the only reason I gave it a 2 star. I am just so upset at the smell. I was hesitant in purchasing this since many reviews said it was smelly. I thought, ‘oh it couldn’t be that bad’ and I was wrong. Not only does the smell linger on the face, but I had to use a nail scrubber to scrub under and on top of my nails to get the smell out. Even a couple of hours later and sever hand washings, I can still smell traces of it on my hands. I may sound a bit dramatic, but I heavily gagged when smelling my hands after application. After some research… okay after watching some YouTube videos I decided on Borage oil. I read the reviews and didn't think much about the fishy smell that others had mentioned, it'd be fine. When it arrived I couldn't really smell anything, maybe a slight musky or foisty scent but nothing fishy. Did a patch test, of course, and the following evening applied some to my dry nose. Now I was getting a stronger scent…. slightly off fish fingers maybe, or the time we got either pollock or haddock fish fingers instead of cod. It was fine though, it wasn't too strong and I woke up with zero flaky skin on my nose, brilliant. The following evening I applied this again and oh my goodness the fish smell is stronger. You know how sometimes a smell grows on you, well this does the opposite. It's not just slightly off fish fingers now, it's foisty fish. At this point I'm looking at the 30ml of oil I've bought and I'm having regrets but I refuse to waste product. I reapply, I feel slightly nauseous, but I wake up with zero flakes again. It doesn't help that I'm applying this to my nose, in particular around my nostrils, but that's where I get dry. The skincare gods are mocking me. I've been using this for a week now and I'm torn. It's a great oil for dryness, I've used it on my cheeks and it doesn't trigger my rosacea either. But the smell. I call it fish oil. Mixing it in with a moisturiser doesn't help either, it smells just as bad but doesn't work as good. If you have a poor sense of smell, or if you like the smell of fish (does anyone???) you won't have a problem. I can't give this a low rating, it's a really nice light oil and is great for dry skin, but I can't give it 5/5 as I shudder slightly whenever I reach for it and wash my hands thoroughly afterwards.Sarah C

I bought these essential oils because of the variety and the price, however, these essential oils are just ok. When I use the oils in my diffuser it takes about 10 to 12 drops to work properly, for rest, relaxation, sleep etc., and then it leaves a nasty cloudy film behind. I have used other essential oils by different companies and those oils have not left a cloudy residue behind. Also some of these essential oils look and smell funny when I have used them, it is almost as if they are old, and essential oils do expire. Sadly, I will not purchase this product again or buy any oils by this company. We don't schlepp the garbage can up to the curb – only the garbage bag. We live in a wooded area and have had animals break into garbage bags during the night. I now sprinkle bag with this oil inside and just a bit on the outside and haven't had issues with the animals wanting to explore contents. This is also handy for sprinkling a few drops into toilet before use – no air freshner spray needed! Be careful when unwrapping! This got delivered the other day and as I was just about done unwrapping the honeycombed brown paper from the jar I bobbled my grip and the jar dropped – the entire contents spilled onto floor! There’s been multiple studies showing the positive effects of Rosemary on hair growth. There’s even one comparing its effects to minoxidil 2%. Search Pubmed rosemary hair growth and you’ll find the studies. I add drops to my shampoo before shampooing (make sure you are not allergic to rosemary) and massage it into my scalp, leaving it on at least 5 minutes. Rosemary infused water is also great and has been helping a lot of people. Make sure your hair loss is not caused by medical issues such a thyroid disorders. You can also add rosemary oil to your bath, to your essential oil diffuser. I love the rosemary smell! NOW is a reputable brand, I always recommend them! I decided to purchase this because I saw of one of my favorite YouTubers @TaylorWynn said she used it and it helped her skin tremendously. Since I am much older than her and have more sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and some acne scarring I decided to try it to see if my skin would benefit as well. I have very oily skin, so I tend to use this oil at night after washing my face. I use one and a half pumps for my entire face. I do not use a lot since my face is already oily, yet in the morning when I wake up my face does not feel slick or oily. It feels smooth and rejuvenated. Sometimes I will use it before my moisturizer depending on how my skin is behaving, other times, this is all I use. I have noticed a marked difference in the way my skin is looking. I had been using the blue tansy night oil and loved it, so I wanted to try the rosehip oil. Unfortunately it made my skin break out. There was no question it was the oil, because I stopped using it, let me skin clear up, and tried it again a couple of times, with the same effect each time. While I think this is a nice product and would probably work well for some people, it didn't for me. I'm over 50 so my skin is "mature" but I have always used sun protection so it is in pretty good shape. I've also always had oily skin. I've tried my fair share of rosehip oils, ranging from affordable brands like The Ordinary to pricier brands like Trilogy – Acure is my favourite! It has your standard rosehip oil smell (kinda earthy) and is a slightly heavier oil, but it doesn't feel sticky or clogging on the skin. It sinks in and leaves the skin soft, plump, and dewy. (Though it does take some time to fully absorb so I apply it only at night and wake up with radiant skin!) Though this oil isn't an "active," I have found it to help to keep the tone and texture of my skin bright and even. It mixes well with face lotions, night creams, and even sleeping masks to add an extra boost of moisture and can also be used as the final layer of your routine as an occlusive to "lock" and seal in all the moisture and good stuff you put in before. It never irritates my skin, even when it's sensitized from over-exfoliation or tretinoin. I love this product and will continue to repurchase – it's a staple of mine and is amazing quality at an amazing price! PS: major points for the packaging. The pump is hygienic and easier to handle than a dropper (like The Ordinary or Trilogy) when my hands are slippery, and the glass bottle feels weighty and high-quality. The eucalyptus has a weirdly chemical smell to it, almost like an artificial sweetener (and I have several brands to compare this one too including YL, DT and PT). For the past 8 years my husband and I cook Cajun food. This last year, we've been using our new food truck and with working in tight quarters, we often bump up against cooking surfaces and get burned. When I received the recipe box this blend came in, the first thing I made was the skin healing gel and used it on a scrape. That was two years ago…..the next time I used it was on a burn that I recived from some hot fry oil that splattered on my forearm while working on our truck. I immediately wiped the oil off, rinsed my arm under cool water and then assesed the burn. I was beginning to form a blister. I applied a dab of the gel and recieved instant relief!! As it absorbed into my skin, I would reapply. I did about 3 or 4 more times that evening. Now, usually I would just use strait aloe for this and by the next day it would still hurt and be visibly red. The morning after using the skin healing gel with the Bumps & Boo boos blend in it, the pain was completely gone and there was barely any sign of the burn! Seriously! I then used the rest of the blent to make a large bottle of the gel and keep it oon the truck. This blend is also a game changer our home first aid kit!!! After using neroli for a few weeks, I wanted to update my initial review, but I don't see it here. Maybe negative reviews dont get published?? Originally I gave this a one star. At first, the scent was quite off putting, and I wondered if it was spoiled. I went as far as to order neroli from another company (I really wanted the therapeutic benefits). I did the closed eye smell test, and they smell identical! I didn't feel a negative review was justified, so I'm making it right . I've been mixing neroli with other oils to make a diffuser blend. I found one that is working well for me. NEROLI, MELISSA, & JASMINE. This blend is soothing and meeting my expectations for anxiety reducing benefits. I bought this bottle off of Amazon for around $9 and I cannot say enough good things about it. Tea tree oil is a natural anti fungal/mold, etc and can be used for so many things it's ridiculous. Here's just some I know of: 1. Mix with water and spray your window and door frames to keep bugs out. 2. Make candles with it for all natural bug repellent outside. 3. Use for fungal nail treatment (I've done this and it clears it up quick!). 4. Use in sugar lip scrubs to keep the sugar from growing mold or going bad. 5. Use in your laundry machine to clean and sanitize, naturally cleans out mold and mildew. 6. Mixed in natural cleaning products for showers, etc 7. For aromatherapy and stress relief. And the list goes on and on! I am always amazed by how many uses it has and how well it performs in each one! Plus a little goes a long way. Ive had this bottle 6 months and I'm not even 1/4 of the way through.valerie.m
I liked the pretty blue bottle, and the dropper was nice for a less messy application. I bought this lavender oil to help me sleep (to replace a small bottle of another brand that I had used up), but this lavender oil had a very medicinal almost camphor smell with heavy notes of cinnamon. It was very harsh and wasn't calming or soothing for sleep at all. I really wanted to like this lavender oil though, so I researched various ways to use it. I put 2 drops in with my face cream to help with acne, since lavender oil has antibacterial properties, but after a few days of this, it only made my skin burn on application and didn't help my acne. I then mixed it with witch hazel for a homemade natural bug spray, but it was still really strong and I got 2 mosquito bites in one day after being outside. I then put a few drops on a microwaveable neck wrap I have (which originally was infused with lavender oil but had since worn away). This lavender oil was good for that, as heating the neck wrap seemed to break down the heavy cinnamon and camphor scent notes. But the neck wrap will only need to have the scent refreshed every few months, so it's not really worth the price of this lavender oil. Just not what I was looking for.Erin G.
My husband has been using this on his toes and they are looking great and he wants to continue to use it , worried that the fungus will come back. He had been to several Podiatrist and taken oral medications to which none cured his horrible rotten toe nails , they were gross , falling off , stinky, terrible fungus and nothing helped UNTIL , I read about this Brand of Tea tree oil and had him start to use it daily on clean dry feet/ toes and he could immediately feel a difference and after about a couple weeks he could see an improvement , with continued use his toe nails are normal and he wants to keep them that way. He will apply one drop unto his toe nails each day for at least 6 months until he knows for sure they are completely and totally fungus free. This will not have any adverse affects with use daily , it's all natural ingredients and a miracle that saved his toe nails and possibly his toes. Thank you Radha 🙂TLYN
