I have never used any smashbox makeup before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was looking for eyeshadow without any type of metallic or shimmery effect. I wanted something soft and in neutral colors. I wanted a black to apply for eyeliner and I also wanted a brown to apply either on my eyebrows or to create a softer eyeliner effect. Smashbox fulfilled all of those requirements and more. The product is soft and applies easily, the cover shot matte eye pallete has all the colors I need it. I'm 66 years old and prefer the neutral colors like this smashbox case has. There is a nice big mirror on the inside of the case which appears to be sort of like a plastic. It does not come with any brush so you will need to provide your own I like this brand I love the way it applies and I would highly recommend it this is one of my new favorite eyeshadows.peggy.m
I tried one of these palettes in the Smokey shade and it was very disappointing. I think the formula was very lackluster difficult to blend. Personally, I wouldn’t buy again as it wasn’t anything special in comparison to other eyeshadow palettes I’ve tried. I felt like a lot of the shades lost pigmentation after being blended got muddy. For example, the green shade in this palette specifically stood out to me as not so good. It had a grey or black undertone, and after blending out the shade you saw way more gray then green. I don’t mind having to build up shadows at all, but this just didn’t build for me the way I had hoped. Overall, I was really let down by this purchase because of that I didn’t buy any other shades from this collection. The only Smashbox eyeshadow palette that I remember getting some use from was the Full Exposure palette. Other than that, I haven’t really ever been impressed with Smashbox’s eyeshadow formula. I recently revisited Smashbox and placed my first order in probably 10 years, and I’m glad I did! I grabbed the Cover Shot Eye Pallette in ‘Golden Hour’ and am so impressed with it. Yes, the palette size is smaller than some on the market – I’d guess it’s about 4”x2”. As someone who takes forever to go through palettes because I like to try new things often, this is a plus! It’s also ideal for travel, especially with the magnetic closure lid. So far I’ve tried most of the eyeshadows in the palette and have experienced great color payoff, easy blending, and zero fallout. This particular combination of warm tones are all very flattering and versatile – easily styled for everyday and more dramatic occasions. Looking at the previous reviews, it's clear that most people buying this are into the basic looks with one or two shades being used at the most. This palette isn't for that, or it would be wasted if that's the intention when buying. I wear at least five or six shades when I do a look – transition, crease, outer corner, inner corner, lid, etc. So I'll get plenty of use out of this palette. And as for the reviewer who questioned the yellow eyeshadow – it has many uses if you're actually into eyeshadow and makeup. It warms up a crease colour, it's excellent for blending the oranges and reds into for a warm eye look. It's not typically for just slapping all over the eye as a one and done look! The reviews here mostly don't do this palette justice and it looks like others have purchased it for the wrong reasons. I haven't bought a Tarte eyeshadow palette in years because they make the same palette over and over color story wise. This one definitely stands out and is beautiful. I swatched all the colors and anyone who says green doesn't have pigment or the mattes are chalky, I didn't find this to be the case. All colors have excellent payoff. The problem I found which was hard to notice given the layout and texture of some pans, many of the shades are VERY similar. ESP the golds/coppers/shimmers. They're all near identical once applied. Then I noticed that your limited to about 3/4 looks with this entire palette. That's why I took 1 star away. The green and yellow make this palette stand out. I think that's why it's eye catching. It could have used another variation of each shade. If you remove those, you almost have every other Tarte palette. Also a couple shades that were textured had sheen on top but once swatched, the sheen was gone. So essentially it becomes a matte. The sheen was just a top layer. Little deceiving. I don't regret buying this palette because it's stunning. The case is so sleek and beautiful. It's one of tarte's nicest packaging. Very upscale. Looking for a shadow palette to put in a care package to send to my daughter in college. I looked at several brands and none of them had that Wow factor that would make a great gift. The rep came over and showed me the Maneater (it was on display in the back of the store so I hadn't seen it with Tartes other shadows). I knew it was exactly what she would love. Looking at some reviews for this color, and your team replies. Need to be clear on this and any of your EPXERT EYES colors on what is a MATTE, PEARL, or SHMMMER. Seashell is NOT A MATTE. You really need to call this out for customers with sensitive eyes, older skin, contacts, etc. The ingredients and descriptions posted online do not clearly call this out, and the packaging in store does not either. This type of information should be included for all eyeshadows as a minimum standard for customer safety.
I got this eyeshadow in the kacki camo color. So I can speak for the other shades. I'll start with what I liked. The pigmentation is lovely better than I remember from Maybelline. A little goes a long way and the color is lovely. A gorgeous tan with green in it. What I didn't like however was that the shade goes on a LOT darker than you would guess looking at it in the pan. It's still pretty but it's not what I planned on buying. Additionally the pigment that is used stains. I'm lucky I did a Swatch test on my arm first, because there was still color on my arm even after breaking out the rubbing alcohol to try and get it off. *Note using a eyelid primer does seem to solve this problem. Finally while there's great pigment it seems to wear off easily. I was using several eyeshadows for my look and I noticed I had to keep touching this color up in particular. In short it's pretty and the formula is really silky but I'm not planning on purchasing any more of the shades.Rolad

Giving it a one star because it’s a beautiful color story. That is the only pro about this palette. I am extremely disappointed. I had been looking forward to using this palette after receiving it in one of my subscription boxes – I love purple eye shadow and this color story is beautiful! However, I was so let down when trying out some eye looks with it. The mattes are extremely patchy and don’t blend well. When using the lightest purple (middle in the bottom row), I found when blending it, it would turn a patchy magenta color in any crease… which is where I was trying to blend it as a transition color. It only looked okay if I patted it down onto my eyelid but even that was short lived due to how patchy it is. The glitters are gorgeous and need to be pat down on your lid as well, but also extremely patchy! There is a ton of fall out as well. This product is absolutely not worth a DOLLAR. I will be honest – that is an EXTREMELY beautiful palette. The best green palette I own. I wish was that shiny and easy to use (I will probably sell it now, cause this is a much better replacement). Matts are great: you have bright green, mint green and khaki. You may easily mix them to create new shades (what I actually did by adding a hint of green to khaki). Shimmers are literally to die for, they are smooth and just gorgeous. I have tried and owned hundreds of shimmers, from the cheap to super expensive, but these still impressed me a lot. I'd say, the best thing about this palette is that it's so small but it gives you really everything you need in terms of the green colour story. Variety of shades is awesome and, I think for the first time in my life, I would not remove any single shade from it, as all of them are just perfect. This makeup look took me 5 mins. Huda Beauty rocks it with the Gemstone Obsessions pallette…This pallette consists of nine creamy shimmers that blend out like a dream in rich jeweled tones. A little product goes a long way and there is minimal fallout with these highly pigmented shimmers. The nine shades are gorgeous making this my favorite of the Obsessions pallettes. The colors really stand out giving you a variety of looks. My only wish is that this pallette were a little larger and the pans held more product because this pallette is awesome. Other than that this is the perfect little jewel toned pallette. The price for this pallette is $27 for the nine shadows. I originally bought the palette because I was looking for a good nude palette for tan/olive skin types that was also on the portable side, and I heard a lot of good things about Juvia's Place. Unfortunately I have mixed thoughts about his palette. The pan size is slightly larger than the average palette pan size (which is more for your money) and shadows swatched well, but they didn't apply the same. The mattes barely showed up on my eyes (ironically that's what I was looking for in my nude palette) and weren't pigmented, but can be built up. They also acted as good transition colors to use as a base. The darkest matte can be used to create some depth (not a lot) when built up. However, the shimmers were so pressed into the palette that I could barely get any shadow on my brush. In the end, I had to use a finger application in order to apply the shimmers, which still wasn't pigmented. I ended up having to dig into the pan with my finger multiple in order to get anything to show up on my lids. Only the peach-toned shimmer was able to be built up to become a good inner corner highlighter. The other shimmers barely showed up.Kristin
I am obsessed with the formula JP uses for their eyeshadow! The Violets palette is no exception. It contains 6 large pans of purple variants that are extremely pigmented, easy to use, and last all day long! With 2 matte and 4 shimmer shades, The Violets palette allows you to make a wide variety of purple eyeshadow looks easily and within a budget friendly price range! The Nubian was the very first palette launch from Juvia’s Place. I wasn’t the biggest fan of natural/neutral looks back then, so I wasn’t super excited at the color story, but I absolutely loved the artwork. After I actually received the palette I fell in love! The colors are warm and deep and vary in shade and tone. They range from champagne to copper to burgundy to chocolate. The palette contains a healthy mix of 8 shimmers and 4 mattes. The palette was often compared to Morphe 35O, as well as palettes from Bh Cosmetics and Urban Decay. It’s perfect for everyday wear or a sultry look for a wedding or a night on the town. I placed my first Juvia's Place order and decided to get this one because of the excellent reviews and sale price. I'm not a huge fan of all nude pallets these days, but was excited to try this one. When I got it and switched it, I was a little confused that several of the neutrals seemed to be similar to each other. But l decided to use this pallet for a week and then I'd have a better idea. Well, this is the last day of the week, and I've used every color in the pallet, and can confirm that I LOVE it. Not only is the formula absolutely stunning, but the similarities I thought I saw are less similar than I initially thought. These subtle differences really mean the difference between a rose gold look and an almost red look on my medium Caucasian skin. I wish I had gotten better photos of each look, but the lighting here isn't great, so I'm posting what I was able to get. I did a light look, a dark look, a pink look, a winged look (with the darkest shade), a matte look . . . And all were unique. I love Juvias place eyeshadow! They preform so well. They're pigmented and easy to work with. They blend out well and build well too. This palette is not something I would have picked for myself only because of the color story. Its all brown and while I like brown shadow I also like to have a little variety and maybe a pop of color or two. There's only 4 mattes and all the rest are shimmers. Which I prefer a matte heavy palette rather then shimmer heavy. The other thing is that a lot of the shades look so similar that you can't tell the difference after applied to the lid. They all kind of look the same. If you enjoy this color story and having a mostly shimmer palette I'd say go for it because the formula and price are great! This just comes down to personal preference for me. If it had more mattes then shimmers I would be able to get a lot more use from it. But there are some pretty shades and it will get used as a companion palette.katie.s

I've been a Milani customer for a long time now. These shadows are very soft and creamy – yet are a touch powdery upon application. There is a bit of kick-up in the pan, but nothing too major. They wear decently, although nowhere near the longevity of higher-end shadows….they are definitely on par with most other shadows from the brand. They are a great bang-for-your-buck product though! I tried the Milani Most Wanted Eyeshadow Palette in the shades "Partners In Crime". I like the assortment of earth tones in this six shadow palette. I can't seem to stay away from the browns as they are my favorite color shadows. This palette applies to the lid with a silky smooth, matte finish. I'm new to matte shadow as I'm use to wearing a metallic or shimmery finish. I've tried this with a brush and also applying with my finger as recommended for a more intense look. The finger gives more color put out than a brush. My favorite look is shadow number 4 all over the lid with shadow number 5 in the crease and shadow number 1 below the brow bone. I find this palette to give me a nice, natural everyday look. I like the color scheme and feel of this shadow, just wish it was a little more pigmented. I received this palette from Influenster for a honest review. So firstly I have to say that the smell of this eyeshadow palette is DIVINE. There’s a light scent of chocolate and reminds me of a chocolate store smell (my mom even asked if it was chocolate when I had her smell it). Once I actually looked at the palette, the colors are absolutely beautiful, but the browns are so similar in shade that it’s difficult to tell them apart ( but makes good for blending). A big no-no that I found was the palette didn’t include any applicator tool to apply the eyeshadow. I’ve bought other brands’ eyeshadow that cost about the same and received a brush with it, I’m surprised they included a mirror. You’d think that after spending $54 dollars there’d be a brush included- nope they fail to mention that. I’m glad I didn’t purchase this item myself. The texture of the shadows are also kind of powdery and don’t glide across eyelids smoothly. They appear pigmented in the container; however, once it’s on your eyelid it’s wayyy different, barely showing up. I only took off one star for the lack of brush, the muted pigments, and similar shades because it isn’t too big of a deal breaker for me since I like my shadows sort of lighter and not as bold, but for those who prefer bold colors and/or have a darker skin tone than me, I recommend looking for a different palette.kittykat26861
Love the creamy, brown colors that are in this palette!! The neutral palettes are my favorite ones and this one will be added to the rotation for an everyday look. In particular, I love "buttercream" as a base paired with "nice buns" and "brownie points" together with "I'm the dessert" as a nice pink-brown sparkle if I'm feeling it. "Bite me" is another color I really like paired with "cake my day" and "ooey gooey". Pigment is great with an eyeshadow primer with most of these colors, but with the lighter sparkle colors you do need to use the wet finger or brush technique to really get it on your skin. Still very pretty though 🙂 I do think that some of the colors are a little too similar though such as "bitter half" and "cake my day" or "lick the bowl" and "nice buns". They have a slight hue difference, but overall when you put the look together it's a little too similar. Not a huge fan of the blue sparkle for this particular palette either, but I can see myself using it with a different palette I own. I think they could have really utilized the space with the blue and similar colors for other more standout shades hence the 4* instead of 5*. All-in-all, I would still recommend this if you like neutrals and want some neutral sparkles to add to your rotation. I received this palette in exchange for review through influenster. The Better Than Chocolate palette smells divine. I honestly want to lick the pan, the smell is that wonderful. It’s described as being a molten chocolate cake. The packaging is nice with the eyeshadow being secured in a tin. Now, the actual eyeshadows themselves look gorgeous in the pan. (The swatches I provided are from using my fingers, with no primer.) It’s when you start trying to apply them with a brush that everything falls apart. The mattes are very dusty/chalky and leave behind piles of dust in the pan. Yes there is a little fallout. Certain shades' colour payoff is not that great and if you do not use a primer, shades like Midnight Snack, Ooey Gooey, and Sugar Rush will be non-existent. Which is a shame because Sugar rush is a shimmer that is gorgeous. It’s actually recommended that you do use a primer with this palette to get better colour payoff. So if you experience patchy colours, try a primer. My other complaint with this palette is that the shades are too similar. Buttercream, Bite Me, and Lick The Bowl are very similar. Skinny Dipped, Reality Choc, I’m The Dessert, and What the Fudge are also similar metallic shades- literally used different ones on each eye and they look the same. Cake My Day, Bitter Half, and Brownie Points are also incredibly similar. There’s just not enough variety and difference to make this palette desirable for me. Honestly, I expected more from it at a $54 price point. If you like various shades of very, very similar browns and darker creams, then this palette may be for you. I received the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette courtesy of Influenster and Charlotte Tilbury in exchange for my honest review. I am no stranger to CT products. I have a collection full of things that I love from the brand. CT is a luxury brand so the price does reflect that. I personally have no issue paying a higher price tag for a product if the quality is there. The 4 eyeshadows in this quad definitely are high quality. They are smooth, easily blendable, pigmented, and easy to work with even on my mature eyes. The packaging is elegant and does look luxurious. It is not bulky and would be travel friendly for those that travel. It is easy to create several different looks with the 4 eyeshadows included. I found myself using the bottom 2 the most. Sometimes I find rosy shades can make me look sickly, but these shades had enough warmth that they looked good with my brown eyes and tan skin. I like the palette size. I do not regularly use more than 2 eyeshadows for my day to day looks. I am knocking off one star because although Pillow Talk is iconic in the makeup industry- the eyeshadow shades are not truly unique. Since I have an extensive makeup collection I can duplicate the shades. With CT being at a higher price point you could find these shades at a lower cost. If you want the CT luxury experience and these shades speak to you I would highly recommend this palette as well as many other CT products. The Pillow Talk Luxury Palette offers a beautiful quad of rosy neutrals with an extra touch of sparkle. It was such fun to be gifted with this so that I could play with the palette and create a look for you all. The shimmery champagne with pink undertones is terrific to apply all over the lid or can be used to highlight the brow bone and inner corner. The top right shade is a light beige pink with matte finish and serves as a stunning transition color for the crease line. The bottom right shade is a medium rosy brown with matte finish and warm undertone. I would recommend using this for emphasizing the outer corner and it also is beautiful to use along the lower lash line. The bottom left shade is a lush pop of rose gold glitter, perfect for placing on the very center of the lid. It’s very easy to apply and blend out the shadows. The coverage runs more on the sheer side. If you are looking to do a dramatic eye then I suggest to add brown liquid liner in the top water line and as well as using an angle brush to line the top lashes pushing the bottom right shade into the lash roots. I was provided the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette free for review purposes. This breathtakingly beautiful eyeshadow palette quad is the definition of romantic glam. I felt different in this palette- confident, ethereal and empowered. That for me is truly the power of great makeup in uplifting your perspective. You can wear this for an everyday eye look or really create drama by adding liner and lashes. This is the epitome of feminine versatility. The muted pinks highlighted with vibrant shimmer play beautifully against the deeper mauve/brown shades. The shades are neutral in color palette but can be built up or faded to diversify your look. There are two matte shades in this palette on the right and two shimmer shades on the left. The matte shadows apply beautifully with a full fluffy brush or flat eyeshadow brush. I typically utilize my fingers to apply shimmer shades to really bring out their opulent vibrancy on my eyelids. As with all shimmer shades you need to use a good base and set your makeup or you will have fallout. I don’t mind with such finely milled product because it is not glitter pieces but a shimmering highlighter effect. I loved that these shadows felt almost saturated in the pan. If you have ever utilized a chalky eyeshadow, where a hardened texture forms over the top, you understand the difference in product ingredients. The quality is here to backup the price tag. But I have to say I love the color story and the way these colors look on me. I wanted one of those desert inspired palettes, but most have too many red shades. This has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. It has a perfect tint that evens skin tone on the entire lid. I have light/medium skin tone. If I choose to wear eyeshadow, it and eyeliner stay put all day. It also has the perfect lightweight consistency that does not get dry or cakey on my 54 year old skin. I hope this never gets discontinued.
You will either love this product or think it is a waste of money! But that only depends on your prefrences and expectations. This idea is a good one, our eyelids lightened and our general look brightened with a product that looks natural on the face, but the contents seem dried out. I doubt it will last very long. Also more info on the shades would be helpful. I would be tempted to try the line’s foundation, but there is little guidance regarding those shades either. So why bother? I ask myself. The company or the vendors would help us consumers if a range of color shades was added, as sometimes is found for lipsticks, say, and perhaps with a few words of description, such as best for very light complexions with pink tones or for a medium, tanned look or for black complexions leaning toward cappuccino.Buying skin products online is very tricky and should be accommodated more by the brands and, when possible, the vendors. These eyeshadow colors are absolutely beyond beautiful and the pigment is just awesome as it really shows up on your eyes which makes them stand out so well. I love how I never have to touch up with this palette as this eyeshadow will out last me the entire day. I like how this eyeshadow glides over my eyelids upon applying without the tugging and pulling of my eyelids which is great because I have sensitive eyes. Yes I know. Crazy Im giving this product only 3 stars right? I'm going to tell you a story about why. I bought this pallette 2 months ago because I decided to start doing the nude look because it looks great on everyone right lol? Well I loved the colors and the texture and decided as soon as I got home at midnight to play around with it because that's what us girls do. I put on my eye shadow primer and went to town. I loved the look of the light colors and decided to go from a dark lid to a light under brow an man oh man. The dark colors are AMAZING the light colors barely showed up so I kept caking it on thicker an thicker and still nothing. By this point I was pretty upset and figured I was doing something wrong, note it was late and I was exhausted 😩. Well I awoke the following morning an decided too attempt again maybe the sleep deprivation was my issue lol, an too my suprise it wasn't. Sadly I wont recommend this if you love light nudes but the darks were amazing. C'mon L.A. colors get it together. Geez.ashley.m
I will preface this review by stating, you must prime your eyes before applying for maximum pigmentation I love how smoothly this product applies, it's soft and very gentle to your skin. It's a true matte, no glitter to worry about here! I do feel like two of the black pans are too similar though, and that the black isn't very intense; I remedy that by using aloe as a primer, then smudging a bit of eyeliner and blending it out and applying the product over. 4 stars for less intense black pigment, but 5 for quality. Would 100% recommend as a starter pallet for those interested in makeup.kimberly.v

I'm writing my review about the new Dunkin Dozen eyeshadow set. It comes with 3 four color eyeshadows and I ordered it from ulta. I believe it was around $12. This is my first time trying an elf micro mini palette. Using it, I assume it's different consistency than their other 4 color mini palettes without shimmer. I like this one pictured a lot for a simple quick look. I used all 4 colors and some nyx glitter primer for the White shimmer. Used ud primer potion for whole eye. There is kick back on the mattes and fall out with the shimmers. I think they are pretty colors for the price. As always, follow for follow (I unfollowed some that weren't following back) and like for like. If you go on my page and spam like my reviews, I'll go on yours and do the same. This is such a beautiful selection of colours, they are so nicely thought out. Can be used as just one, or combined or all together at once even. Nice texture, good coverage, they blend nicely. I love the light sheer one a lot for daytime look and highlights, while the dark one can be used for creating smokey eyes look. The size is more than enough, it will last me a long time, the packaging is small which suits me as I'm always carrying a very small purse. I've been using it in the morning and evening as well. I just wish that a small applicator or a small brush came with it but it's no big problem, I've taken since one of my own and put it in the purse. I'd been looking for a shimmery neutral with a hint of golden/copper to compliment my green eyes and figured I'd try Cream & Sugar. It's been over 2 years, and I still use this palette every day. (I think I've repurchased once or twice.) I have fair/light skin, and the shimmer shade on the far left is almost too much for me, so I just use that one underneath the arches of my brows. I use the shimmer shade on the far right all over my lids, and the darkest shade on the outside corners and in the crease. I got a lot of compliments when I first started wearing these colors. It's a great size to deliver a lot of product for the price without taking up much room in your makeup bag – it would be great for travel. I dropped it once, and it broke a bit upon impact. But it's such a cheap buy, so I don't feel too bad if I just need to toss it and get a new one. I always use a primer (so am not sure of the longevity without it), and the color can last almost a full 24 hours for me. I hope elf keeps this on the shelves forever!cplusk

Good that this palette has no glitter plate at all. Shimmer and matt colour are quite pigmented and can be use daily at any occasion. People who like earthy-colour, no regards to get this. And also, I bought it during recent sale. Even worth it. Also, a beginners palette to start with.Cath.T
I was so pleasantly surprised by this product. I got it as a bonus to my order. I don't use exclusively Bobbi Brown make up, and I'm very fussy about my eyeshadow. It seems like most, even top brands, don't have the colour saturation, so they go on with a really weak colour. These were fabulous. Also, In my experience it's really hard to find these neutral warm gold tones that aren't too flat or are only made for going out at night. The best I found in the past is two colours In a pallet of 12. These colours combine really beautifully and give a great neutral eye for the workday with just enough shimmer to brighten your eye. This will be my go to pallet from now on.JS
This is a lovely palette. I have been using it everyday for work. The colours are blendable and very soft and neutral. I bought the palette mainly for the purple shade – Amethyst night. A little dissappointed that is doesn't look like the arm swatches in the photo – it's darker and so the satin shimmer is harder to see. I dropped a star purely for that reason but other than that am really happy with the palette. Also love that it is cardboard palette rather than plastic. Definitely a good gift for a makeup lover at Xmas as very safe colour combos.Redhead79

I've always LOVED ColourPop shadows, and this palette is pigmented and awesome as usual. All the greens are so pretty! Since my skin tone is quite yellow – I can either apply them directly (they'd show up grey-ish) for a lowkey smoky look, or apply them on top of primer and let the green POP (kinda like the 00s makeup). "Precious Cargo" (top left) might have a different, more gel-like formulation, thus giving a more subtle shine, but it's still very cute. "Just Like a Tatooine" (top right) is a beautiful colour, but it's too close to my actual skin colour so I don't use it as much with the rest of this palette. The embedded mirror is absolutely adorable! Get it if you like baby Yoda. Get it if you're looking for olive green. Also get it if you want to go for a luxurious or cottage-core vibe.Wisteria H.
Cutest palette and color scheme. However, I go to use it for the first time for a wedding and one of the shades falls right out. You can tell it is very cheaply made even though it is a “special edition collaboration” and costs more. I don’t know how they are able to continue to collaborate with concepts I’d they are making palettes like these. I have had 2 issues with Colourpop palettes previously. One shade came crumbled in one. And in a blush palette, one came shattered and was already all over the place and mixed into all the other shades. What is this? Why such low quality but talked of highly? Of course this time, the order passed the 2 week mark. So I just wasted my money. 🤷🏻♀️ Already unsubbed from all CP messages and will never purchase again. My review is actually for @colourpop That's Taupe, but I can't find it on here and I can't find any way to list it, but I figured that anyone interested in purples might like this, too. So taupe is a bit of brown mixed with grey, making it the perfect neutral for everyone, but especially those of us who are cool or neutral toned. I can't wear brown, it washes me out. But I like having a neutral option, especially given my love of red lipstick. This finally was the perfect thing and it's inexpensive. The glitters aren't remotely the quality of Huda, but they'll work, especially with a dot of concealer. Two shades have a dab of pink, so that's nice. I'm not a fan of mattes, but I can blend in a shimmer. I would have preferred one of the top ones to have been an ivory shimmer, tbh, as this got a little monotonous, but eventually I'll use 90% of this up. The bottom center glitter was also a tad redundant and I'd have probably preferred another lighter glitter or a midtone shimmer in a soft pink maybe there, but in all, I'm happy to get that deep slate shade. That's the all star shade. This could be reworked as one of the world's best quads or something. At any rate, for the price, this is a must have for those of us who can't do warmer browns.sarah.j

Listen, it’s a luxurious lovely lovely texture! I got Body Heat btw. BUT! Returned it only due to the fact that the bottom 2 shades looked pretty much identical once applied on the eyes. For the price, i would have liked to see a difference. I soooo wanted to love this. I got Leopard Sun as a gift and while the shades are nice, I wanted something more sultry hence getting body heat. Gave it 4 stars for the packaging, the experience, how you feel when implying the shadows (bougie AF) and I did like the quality but had to take away 1 for the lack of originality in the current selection of quads. If you can afford one, go for it. If you have to save up to get one, I would tell you to try something else!Leeeloo
Bought as a splurge/curiosity. The colours are very nice, fairly pigmented, easy to blend, and smooth. The brown isn’t as deep as I would like it to be. I find when I blend it with the pink/mauve shade, it doesn’t do much even after building up quite a bit. I think the pink/mauve and brown should be used separately as deepening shades. The top left is a topper/glitter and is very pretty. It’s good for a basic shimmery eye. 4 stars because I like the formula and the colours, but there are good quality palettes with similar shades for a better price.cutelyne
but, I’m so used to more pigmented eyeshadows and most high end eyeshadows are more subtle. It is buildable but took awhile to get there. These shadows are soft and buttery, almost silky finish, very sophisticated. However, I prefer pigmented shadows, especially if I’m rushing out the door. That being said, I do like it. I really love wearing blues on my brown eyes. I never tried anything from Juvia, but am really impressed with the pigmentation. At first when i applied it looked a bit too intense on my lighter medium skin but i tried applying with my fingers and got a softer but still dramatic application. Really love the shimmery finishes and there is no fault out, very good quality. I definitely want to try more of the palettes.Jen7

This shadow is $4.99 in Target. Beautiful quality and so cheap! It's a lovely pigmented matte cool taupe shade that makes the whites of my eyes look extremely white and overall makes my green eyes come alive. It has an almost creamy texture but yet it drys to a powder. Lasts all day over foundation and powder without any creasing. I use Cafe Au Lait on my lid and into the crease along with Paris Beach on the browbone. It's a classic look that works perfectly with my green eyes and NW20 skin. Definitely recommend……. especially if your eyes are green and you have light cool skin.ani.p
I got two shades (Paris Beach 200 and Pain Au Chocolat 207) in a Vox Box a while back, and I am split on them. I am giving them 4 stars strictly because of Paris Beach. I like this as a base for my eye makeup or for a natural look. However, I LOVE it as a brow bone highlight. I will be buying this just for that when I run out of the one that was sent to me. I personally don't have any issues with the formula on this one or find it chalky. Pain Au Chocolat is another story. I was so excited because the color looked SO pretty, but it has no pigmentation. I have to pretty much stab my brush into it to even get anything on the brush, and when I go to apply it basically blends out to nothing. I basically just use this now in the middle of the eyelid to give a little shimmer. That's the only way I get any use out of it.stephanie.k

But this eyeshadow is easy to apply, it’s easy to remove, it lasts all day, and this eyeshadow has good quality. This eyeshadow is also well priced, and has no noticeable fragrance.
