Okay, aside from the price (I know it’s steep but real gold flakes!!!!), this palette is phenomenal!!!! The shades are divine, the shade with real gold flakes literally shines like a diamond. I’ve been using the liquid colors to create a liner look and a cut crease and then blend out (trying new tiktok trends) and they’ve blended better than I would expect. I love the peachy tones and the tye dye purple gold shade on my lid for work time. This palette can just go everywhere with you and transfer from day to night and not have to also travel with liners. I know it’s pricey but I would buy this! Also, there’s no scent to it which I like. I hate when they add perfume to eye palettes. There are SO many eyeshadows in market right now, but this is most definitely something I haven't seen with the different textures and pigments. Like the shade manifest it, feels like this… gel…silicone… glossy feel that I thought would look weird on the eye but its SO beautiful and pigmented. OH! the pigment, lord the pigment. Its INSANELY pigmented yet also very easy to blend without having crazy fall out of the shadows. I was very excited to try out the gel eyeliner shadow hybrid and its not a replacement to your gel eyeliner for sure – but gives you that smoked out gel liner look (hence the gel liner and shadow hybrid). I have many eyeshadow palettes, but I would always find myself going to different palettes for different shades but I haven't been doing that since getting this palette. My most favourite eyeshadow palette used to be Mercury retrograde and this has def taken over #1 spot. One of the things that I absolutely love about this palette is the packaging, it’s stunning and luxurious. This was my first time using Jane Iredale cosmetics, courtesy of Influenster, and I have very positive thoughts on this eye shadow kit. First off, the packaging of this is so beautiful. It's a rounded off, rectangular compact in a mirrored gold that gave it a sleek and elegant look. Inside are 5 matte colors, applicator, and a mirror.I got the "Naturally Matte" palette which includes:: Buttercream, an off white with yellow/peach undertones. Hush, a light ballerina pinkSlate Brown, a medium/light grey with brown undertoneEggplant, a medium pink/brownFudge, a rich dark brownThis isn't a palette I would probably have picked out for myself, because the tone is a little cooler than I prefer for my warmer complexion, but I actually really like it. I'm not a fan of the applicator, preferring brushes to apply my makeup, but I did try it out. It works fine for applying, but not so much for blending. The formula for these shade a well pigmented and buttery smooth. I was a little surprised how smoothly the shadows blended together and on my skin. There is some kickback, but I consider that a good thing because it signals to me that there isn't a lot of "filler" in the formula. I used this with and without the primer that also came with this voxbox. I liked the primer a lot as well, but I personally prefer to use it with a different palette than this one. Overall, I would say this is a great luxe palette of rich colors to create some natural or smokey eye looks. My only con is the price point. While the quality is very good, you're limited with how many looks you can create with the number of colors provided in comparison to other palettes of similar quality and price range.mandy.k
I am a recent Jane Iredale convert and love this eye shadow palette. At 54, I no longer want to wear harsh, garish, dark, or super dramatic eye shadow, but opting instead for colors that are subdued, easy to blend, and won't highlight the texture on my lids. These shadows are fantastic. Yes, the palette is small, the pans are small, but the formula is so, so good. It's long wearing, all the shades in the palette are wearable, unlike other palettes with shades that are so "out there" they won't get used, and with the darker shade, it's easy to create a more dramatic look, without it being too much. Really lovely colors in this palette and great quality natural eyeshadow. I use an eyeshadow primer with this and it stays on all day without creasing. It will crease though on my lids if I don't use a primer, I think it would crease for most people unless you have dry skin on your eyelids. Mine are normal and not oily just to give a better idea. I have blue eyes and bought Espresso Gold. That particular trio was hard to find at both Sprouts and Amazon so I'm glad that buying directly from Mineral Fusion is an option. I don't wear a lot of make-up, and when I do I like a very natural, barely there look. I don't like eyeliner in itself on me, but I do like using the darker brown shadow as a very light liner near my upper lashes, and I mix the other two shades for a slight shimmer to enhance my eyes. This trio is probably not ideal if you want a more dramatic, intense look, but it's exactly what I was looking for; slight color to enhance my eyes. I did drop the compact case a few months in and the shimmery shade completely broke apart, causing most of it to be lost, unfortunately, but the other shades, pale pink, and brown are fine. I've always LOVED ColourPop shadows, and this palette is pigmented and awesome as usual. All the greens are so pretty! Since my skin tone is quite yellow – I can either apply them directly (they'd show up grey-ish) for a lowkey smoky look, or apply them on top of primer and let the green POP (kinda like the 00s makeup). "Precious Cargo" (top left) might have a different, more gel-like formulation, thus giving a more subtle shine, but it's still very cute. "Just Like a Tatooine" (top right) is a beautiful colour, but it's too close to my actual skin colour so I don't use it as much with the rest of this palette. The embedded mirror is absolutely adorable! Get it if you like baby Yoda. Get it if you're looking for olive green. Also get it if you want to go for a luxurious or cottage-core vibe.Wisteria H.
Cutest palette and color scheme. However, I go to use it for the first time for a wedding and one of the shades falls right out. You can tell it is very cheaply made even though it is a “special edition collaboration” and costs more. I don’t know how they are able to continue to collaborate with concepts I’d they are making palettes like these. I have had 2 issues with Colourpop palettes previously. One shade came crumbled in one. And in a blush palette, one came shattered and was already all over the place and mixed into all the other shades. What is this? My review is actually for @colourpop That's Taupe, but I can't find it on here and I can't find any way to list it, but I figured that anyone interested in purples might like this, too. So taupe is a bit of brown mixed with grey, making it the perfect neutral for everyone, but especially those of us who are cool or neutral toned. I can't wear brown, it washes me out. But I like having a neutral option, especially given my love of red lipstick. This finally was the perfect thing and it's inexpensive. The glitters aren't remotely the quality of Huda, but they'll work, especially with a dot of concealer. Two shades have a dab of pink, so that's nice. I'm not a fan of mattes, but I can blend in a shimmer. I would have preferred one of the top ones to have been an ivory shimmer, tbh, as this got a little monotonous, but eventually I'll use 90% of this up. The bottom center glitter was also a tad redundant and I'd have probably preferred another lighter glitter or a midtone shimmer in a soft pink maybe there, but in all, I'm happy to get that deep slate shade. That's the all star shade. This could be reworked as one of the world's best quads or something. At any rate, for the price, this is a must have for those of us who can't do warmer browns.sarah.j

I love this bronzer. It is my absolute favorite out there. I try to steer clear of powders as I start to get fine lines, but this never accentuates any texture on my face. It seems to have a matte texture but when you swatch it and really build it up, you can see that there is the slightest of sheens. It doesn’t show up upon application, but I suspect that light sheen helps to keep the skin from looking matte and heavy. It is matte powder, absolutely no shimmer! But still, a skin-like sheen. I love wearing this alone on my face or even as an eyeshadow. It isn’t orangey at all. It leans warm but in a way that still manages to look neutral. I purchased this product on a whim.. I decided I wanted to stop using liquids for bronzers and get into powders so I opted for another brand and hated it. I then saw this product on sale through my Sephora app and decided what did I have to lose. Here’s the truth: I LOVE This bronzer. Seriously.. this bronzer is made up with real cocoa alongside other ingredients and it’s really delightful. Lol! I noticed this brand and formula as well as color blended nicely with my Laura Mercier translucent powder for a seamless appearance. *review for You’re So Hot set* This bronzer is SO pretty and super cute! The white gold has a beautiful shimmer that blends nicely to create a lovely shade that is complimentary to even light skin tones. I was initially hesitant to purchase this set because of how dark both products looked but decided to try it out when it was on sale for $19.50USD. The #LipInjectionLipGloss is called “Christmas Cocoa” and looks like a dark brown.. but it is somewhat sheer and can be lightened—or darkened—to your preferred shade. Additionally, this one doesn’t make my mouth break out into a weird (temporary) red rash like the clear one does! I'm writing my review about the new Dunkin Dozen eyeshadow set. It comes with 3 four color eyeshadows and I ordered it from ulta. I believe it was around $12. This is my first time trying an elf micro mini palette. Using it, I assume it's different consistency than their other 4 color mini palettes without shimmer. I like this one pictured a lot for a simple quick look. I used all 4 colors and some nyx glitter primer for the White shimmer. Used ud primer potion for whole eye. There is kick back on the mattes and fall out with the shimmers. I think they are pretty colors for the price. This is such a beautiful selection of colours, they are so nicely thought out. Can be used as just one, or combined or all together at once even. Nice texture, good coverage, they blend nicely. I love the light sheer one a lot for daytime look and highlights, while the dark one can be used for creating smokey eyes look. The size is more than enough, it will last me a long time, the packaging is small which suits me as I'm always carrying a very small purse. I've been using it in the morning and evening as well. I just wish that a small applicator or a small brush came with it but it's no big problem, I've taken since one of my own and put it in the purse. I'd been looking for a shimmery neutral with a hint of golden/copper to compliment my green eyes and figured I'd try Cream & Sugar. It's been over 2 years, and I still use this palette every day. (I think I've repurchased once or twice.) I have fair/light skin, and the shimmer shade on the far left is almost too much for me, so I just use that one underneath the arches of my brows. I use the shimmer shade on the far right all over my lids, and the darkest shade on the outside corners and in the crease. I got a lot of compliments when I first started wearing these colors. It's a great size to deliver a lot of product for the price without taking up much room in your makeup bag – it would be great for travel. I dropped it once, and it broke a bit upon impact. But it's such a cheap buy, so I don't feel too bad if I just need to toss it and get a new one. I always use a primer (so am not sure of the longevity without it), and the color can last almost a full 24 hours for me. I hope elf keeps this on the shelves forever!cplusk

I was very excited to get this product, as I love testing out high end beauty and TF is one brand that I am interested in exploring more. The packaging definitely reflects its luxury status and was a very nice surprise upon opening! While the quad is beautiful, I do want to note that these colors are not “my colors”. With my skin tone, eye color and hair color—I find eye makeup to be much more flattering when cool toned rather than warm like this Honeymoon shade. Speaking to the product itself, the colors are nicely pigmented and just as shimmery as they look. While I didn’t get to try out any other palette shades, upon first glance this one does seem to have a bit less variety in the shade/contrast between each of the shadows. For Honeymoon, the colors are gorgeous, however I struggled a little when trying to have a look with all of them, because when applied it is hard to discern the colors from each other. The top two shades are almost impossibly to distinguish when on the eye and the red toned shade is pretty but not deep enough to be brought out significantly against the warm champagne gold. Overall, I think this is a beautiful product and the quality is top notch, as the pigment is there and I experienced no fall out (which is always a struggle with shimmer shadows—brand aside). The only reason I have to take off a star is because of the versatility of the shade option I received. Given that quad palettes have a general purpose of consisting of shades that are worn together and/or can be layered, the Honeymoon Quad falls short as the shades are just too similar to achieve the same look that other TF options provide. That said, this is likely a concern limited to few shades and have nothing to do with quality itself! I am definitely interested in trying out quads that are more complimentary to my tones like mink mirage or noir fume, both of which seem to have more shade contrast as well. This is my first time using any Tom Ford products so I was happy to receive the Tiger Eye quad from a recent voxbox. This particular color story is a mix of warm golds and browns, mostly shimmery but with one matte dark brown included. The palette itself is gorgeous with metallic gold and dark brown accents. It feels heavy in the hand and comes with a little fabric pouch. The shadows themselves are soft and almost creamy. The shimmers were well pigmented but I found the dark brown a little chalky. It built up nicely. These applied ok with a finger, but I found the two gold shades were very similar on the eye. It also comes with two small sponge brushes that I did not use. I personally wouldn?t shell out almost $90 for this palette, but if you love shimmers, this might be a good fit for youRana
[This review is about Double Indemnity Quad I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I thought that after Virgin Orchid I wouldn't be impressed by Tom Ford's quality anymore…But this palette is just stunning. To begin with, it's so pigmented. One touch is just enough to achieve a deep colour if you want to. And just look at this black! I have never seen a black shade with sparkles where: 1) sparkles transfer well with brush (!) and are really visible on the eyelid, 2) you have no fallout under eyes, 3) sparkles look expensive and luxurious. And here you have all of this. Shades are SO smooth, they feel creamy and they blend heavenly (I know I often say that about high-end palettes, but this went far beyond my expectations). In 5 minutes you have full glam black smokey, it's just unbelievable. The next thing I love is the colour story. These colours are very intriguing. You have a neutral light brown (as a great transition colour for black shade for lighter skin tones), grey with a hint of gold and green (if it makes sense), deep black with sparkles and pearl shimmer which is super bright on the eyes and perfect as an accent on the dark eye look (in comparison with delicate shimmers from Virgin Orchid, for example). I like that here you're not limited by only one black smokey makeup – you can for sure create at least brown and gold-grey looks as well, which is amazing having only 4 colours. To sum up: I bought it for a full price, and though I'd say it's a crazy price for 4 eyeshadows – it's worth every penny. It's close to becoming the best palette in my collection. This was my first Tarte purchase and I have to say I am so impressed! I was worried the palette would be a cheap paper box with flaky, messy, cheap shadow and I was wrong. PROS: the colors are matte and pigmented, but easily blendable. The color stays on even without using primer. The palette has great neutrals but it isn't the boring gray, beige, and cream that most people think of when dealing with neutral colors. This palette includes some Smokey, purple, colors and soft taupe and even champagne colors, but they are totally wearable for everyday. (I don't wear much makeup ever, and I would and have been wearing these daily because they are so buildable.) I can go for a very light, natural look or a slightly darker, more intense look. The packaging is good! It is a heavier metal case with a large mirror. CONS: This really isn't even much of a con for me, but the shadows have a slight scent. It is like vanilla or something sweet. This was one of my first all matte palettes and I loved it! I still enjoy this now and use this to help round out eye looks if I’m needing a matte shade to just blend something out or add some depth. This has a great range of light to deep shades that allows for it to supplement other palettes that may have those shades missing. In more recent eyeshadow standards these would likely be considered more powdery and less pigmented, but I appreciate that they are softer as they blend nicely and are easy to work with. The packaging is nice and sturdy, the mirror is useful and it makes it easy to travel with as it is not too big in size. These versatility of the shades may also be helpful for those who like to use powder to fill in their brows. It may not work for everyone in this particular use, but is a possibility. This was my first Morphe palette! I'm very picky about my eyeshadows so this review will be a little more critical. If you're thinking about purchasing this palette, you can't go wrong with it and I definitely wouldn't discourage taking it home. The pigment wasn't quite there but the colors are still very beautiful, and the colorway/range allows for lots of creativity. I love Morphe's palettes purely for that fact and appreciate how the consumer gets the most bang for their buck; you can experiment with lots of eye looks. To sum it up, I knocked off a star because the pigment isn't as intense as I would like (again, I'm picky about my eyeshadows), but I enjoy using it and it's one of my go-to palettes. These are pretty solid topper shades. I mostly use them for the last step in my eyeshadow routine if I'm looking for a more bold look. The method that seems to work best is picking up the glitter on my pointer finger. I go in like I'm going to swatch it, and then pat it on my eyelid. This method seems to yield the best result and it's the one I've had the more success with. One piece of advice, make sure to have a spare brush just to wipe away any of the glitter fallout. I find that the fallout is pretty minimal, however it can be annoying when there are little spots of glitter on your under eyes or cheeks. Having something near you just to wipe it away is helpful. I honestly don't get the hype behind these shadows. I will say, the matte shade is very nice…it's not too pigmented and blends easily. it's a mauvey brown shade that looks really nice. the other shades are very dry and chunky feeling. The middle shade looks gorgeous in the pan but even when I apply with a finger it mainly just looks like a pink sparkle with barely any base pigment. The top shade is very thick and looks textured on the eyes. These 2 shades have a ton of glitter fallout, so you definitely have to do your eyes before your face makeup.spaceykacey
I absolutely LOVE the Kaja bento trio shadows, but the Peach Madeline, despite being absolutely beautiful, was just too soft. I buy these trios specifically because they're so travel friendly, but all 3 of these broke on me within a week and a half of use. The shimmer pans lost adhesive and the top shadow fell out first, but the other two just broke from transport. I have to say, the shades were lovely and the shimmers are opaque and beautiful, with reasonable fall-out (one glittery, one foiled), however, I'm not sure you need two such similar shimmers in one trio. It would have preferred another matte to use as a liner or light peach shade. If you MUST have it, keep it on your vanity. I'm still mourning that foil…achromatic

For being a Makeup By Mario product I would expect a 60 dollar eyeshadow pallet of this small size to be of good quality and condition. Reading reviews I had seen mixed reactions, some regarding the dirty condition the brand new pallet came in. Regardless of the few negative reviews I bit the bullet and bought the pallet. As you can see, the pallet comes dusted/smudged in eyeshadow fallout or pigment all on the outside of the pallet and the black cardboard the pallet comes packaged in. The inside of the pallet was full of fallout, and multiple pans of shadow are wiggling and falling out! This is not professional quality, maybe the batch of shadows being sold are slightly faulty or get damaged in shipping, but from what I’ve seen this production issue has been going on for months. I’m personally willing to overlook the issue if the performance of the shadow impresses me; if not I’ll be returning. Do not purchase if you don’t want to risk potentially receiving a broken pallet.AbbiFLC
I love Makeup by Mario but am not thrilled with this palette. I tried various application methods (finger, brush, even a sponge tip since sometimes sparkle shades work well with them), both wet and dry, and I am not impressed. It’s not horrible, but it’s not great. I found the neutrals applied better than the richer color shades, but good neutrals are easy to find. I wish the teal and green shades were better because those were the selling points for me. Many colors were hard to pick up and they applied uneven. I’ve had worse, but overall I don’t think this is worth it. It's too bad, because it’s a good size and has a nice color variety. I absolutely love the matte palette so I was pretty disappointed with this. For metallics and shimmers, I will stick to Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath. Listen, I am normally a shimmer and glitter girl. But sometimes that can be a bit much, especially at work (for my profession). I've never owned a palette of just matte shadows before. This is a banger! It has helped me improve my placement to accentuate my eyes best. I used this without a primer, and it lasted all day in 90 degree weather. And I didn't even have to pack on shadow with I can just imagine how it can pop even more with primer. Now I understand when MUAs say you need one good palette of just mattes. It has a lot of range: from "no make-up" make-up, to soft glam and smoky eye. I still love me some shimmer, but I can do some gorgeous eye looks with or without the bells and whistles. Just neutral classic gorgeousness! I own a LOT of palettes (product junkie!), but I've gotten to pan on this one faster than any palette in a long time. Will be needing another one soon. The Nubian was the very first palette launch from Juvia’s Place. I wasn’t the biggest fan of natural/neutral looks back then, so I wasn’t super excited at the color story, but I absolutely loved the artwork. After I actually received the palette I fell in love! The colors are warm and deep and vary in shade and tone. They range from champagne to copper to burgundy to chocolate. The palette contains a healthy mix of 8 shimmers and 4 mattes. The palette was often compared to Morphe 35O, as well as palettes from Bh Cosmetics and Urban Decay. It’s perfect for everyday wear or a sultry look for a wedding or a night on the town. I placed my first Juvia's Place order and decided to get this one because of the excellent reviews and sale price. I'm not a huge fan of all nude pallets these days, but was excited to try this one. When I got it and switched it, I was a little confused that several of the neutrals seemed to be similar to each other. But l decided to use this pallet for a week and then I'd have a better idea. Well, this is the last day of the week, and I've used every color in the pallet, and can confirm that I LOVE it. Not only is the formula absolutely stunning, but the similarities I thought I saw are less similar than I initially thought. These subtle differences really mean the difference between a rose gold look and an almost red look on my medium Caucasian skin. I wish I had gotten better photos of each look, but the lighting here isn't great, so I'm posting what I was able to get. I did a light look, a dark look, a pink look, a winged look (with the darkest shade), a matte look . . . And all were unique. I'll probably use this pallet mostly as a base with a bit of color to fit my personality, but for an every day pallet for the less "extra" ladies out there, this one can't be beat.40rtyPluss
I love Juvias place eyeshadow! They preform so well. They're pigmented and easy to work with. They blend out well and build well too. This palette is not something I would have picked for myself only because of the color story. Its all brown and while I like brown shadow I also like to have a little variety and maybe a pop of color or two. There's only 4 mattes and all the rest are shimmers. Which I prefer a matte heavy palette rather then shimmer heavy. The other thing is that a lot of the shades look so similar that you can't tell the difference after applied to the lid. They all kind of look the same. If you enjoy this color story and having a mostly shimmer palette I'd say go for it because the formula and price are great! This just comes down to personal preference for me. If it had more mattes then shimmers I would be able to get a lot more use from it. But there are some pretty shades and it will get used as a companion palette.katie.s

Solar is SO pretty and the most beautiful color. Not too cool, or too warm. Not too orange, or yellow; its just very very flattering. This product does crease and honestly I normally don't like cream eyeshadow that has a tendency to crease, but this one is so incredibly beautiful that I will wear an eye primer underneath it just so I can wear it. I absolutely adore this shadow. The cream is luxurious. The colour is rich. It does cause a little creasing after some wear, but it is still soft and creamy enough to smooth out again gently with your finger. I got the Solar colour, and it gives a gorgeous natural glow. So natural my cousin didn’t realise I had on any shadow at all. She then proceeded to put some on herself 🙂 would recommend the splurge.B.

The ABH Modern Renaissance palette was a cult favorite for a reason. I remember hearing all the hype and putting off buying it, but ever since I did it’s been a staple in my makeup routine ever since. These shadows are quality, and so is the palette itself. The palette is sturdy, not flimsy. The cover and overall design is beautiful. The shades are labeled clearly with recessed lettering so it won’t simply wipe away with time. Each pan has a substantial amount of product (after almost 2 years of regular use Ive only hit pan on the matte cream shade that I essentially always use as a base). It also comes with a quality dual ended brush and built in mirror. The palette features an array of warm toned shadows in matte, metallic, and glitter finishes. I find it incredibly versatile in terms of being able to easily create daytime looks as well as more dramatic or creative looks. The shadows themselves are incredibly easy to work with – they blend seamlessly and I rarely experience fallout. This palette is a go to for me, just like it is for many others. If warm toned shadows are your thing and you haven’t added this palette to your collection yet, I highly recommend!kelly.r
Nice colour story, but it's the only palette from ABH which I don't touch at all. When I saw it for the first time, I was immediately caught by cool-toned browns and silvery-lavender metallics (top row of shades). They swatched smooth and bright on my skin, so I took this palette immediately and couldn't wait to try it. And I was disappointed, because this palette has a really bad colour payoff. It took me SO LONG to achieve a deep brown colour, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it for the bold evening makeups. Moreover, I don't know how that is possible, but metallics looking stunning on my arm or finger, absolutely don't want to transfer on my eyelid. They're dimmed, barely visible on my eyes and I feel like they start to fade after a while, so I had to re-apply them a few times to take a picture. I assume the reason is their dryness, so they don't stick well to the eyelids and fall down as time goes by. The same with mattes from the top row: they're too dry to stick and not pigmented enough. What surprised me positively was the bottom row, especially orange and red. They're just stunning, easy to work with and super pigmented. The problem is, that I barely wear such colours (maybe I should though). To sum up, if you prefer super nude shades and a bit of shine for everyday looks then it may work well for you (although I still think you may find much better quality in other ABH palettes). But for the lovers of bold eye looks like me, it's a no go.anastasia.a
The Good: I truly appreciate the beauty of this palette, the colors are stunning and unique in their own right. When this palette first came out, there was really nothing quite like it on the market… simply put this was (and maybe still is) the go-to warm and vibrantly cherry colored palette that everyone reached for. I still reach for this palette from time to time because of the few wonderfully unique shades it offers and I've even packed this for light traveling from time-to-time (which is when I know a product is at the least, solid). Most of the color are very nicely blendable on the lid and are usually quite accurate on the skin as they are appear the palette (no color surprises). Something about this gorgeous pink palette from ABH will forever hold a special place in my heart, I remember being excited for it's release and the pure joy I felt when it finally arrived at my door. Overall, a very good palette. The Bad: Here comes the hard part… As much as I love this palette I simply have to admit there are better things out there at least in the present day. Although this was truly the trail blazer for this color-scheme palette now there are so many releases that mirror and surpass this type of shade profile. If I'm being honest with myself, I think a big part of my joy from this palette comes from it's nostalgia factor. The Ugly/Honest: Yes, the palette is good, yes it's a cult-classic, yes the shades are beautiful… but the fall out on this palette is downright disrespectful to my bathroom vanity and sink. Seriously, especially the sparkly shades are just fall-out-city. I already know better and apply all the shimmery shades with a flat and wet brush. The mattes are also super powdery and inconsistent. For example, the shades that lean brown in this palette are very solid and tend to have less fallout in my experiences. This is such a fun and pretty glitter eyeshadow. I was worried the liquid eyeshadow wouldn't blend well but that's not the case. It was easy to apply and sets nicely. Great to use as the finishing step for your eye look to add some sparkle and highlight. Every Day is Sunshine is a pretty neutral color with some sparkle/glitter that goes with a lot of makeup looks. I've been seeing a lot of the douyin look and was excited to try the look out using this eyeshadow. The glitter stays where you put it without any fallout. This product was so beautiful on the eyes! Very sparkly and pretty, with lovely colors. It's also very long lasting! I was surprised by how long it lasted. It even lasted through a day of rock hounding in the New Mexican desert! It stays in place nicely and doesn't really smudge. I rubbed my fingers over my eyes sometimes to test it after drying, and only a small amount was rubbed off. It stayed well put and stayed pretty. If you have hooded eyelids you have to let it dry completely before opening your eyelids, or else it will start creasing. Compared to other products I've tried, this one is by far the best I've tried like this. Other glittery liquid eyeshadow I've tried have been too wet, smudged/creased easy, or weren't long lasting. I think this one performs outstanding. I would definitely want to get/buy this product in a variety of colors! I would also recommend it to others if they happen to be looking for something like this. I've tried lots of liquid eyeshadows in the past and loved some, and disliked some. This mac one stuck out a little more to me because of how the consistency is. It's not to thick but no watery where it will make a mess either. You only need one swipe and your eye lid is full of color. I used this as eyeshadow and I also toke a fine eyeliner brush and applied it as eyeliner. It was absolutely gorgeous both ways!! The formula is perfect because it doesn't clump up and look 3D like some other formulas. It stayed put throughout my whole work day and still looked fresh. My only con is the removal process is a tib tedious. When using makeup wipes it just smears the glitter all around. I had to use a oil based cleanser to remove it.Courtlovexoxo

Great palette for olive skin tone. I love the dark mattes and the olive brown. Mattes are the usual good quality from Juvias Place. The only good shimmer is the one in the center. I actually purchased this for the beautiful artwork on the cover of the palette. I just love the way the lady is depicted with her straw hat…looking all glamorous!! But I have to say I love the color story and the way these colors look on me. I wanted one of those desert inspired palettes, but most have too many red shades. This is a great desert shades palette and I go googoogaga over yellow eyeshadow!!! The oranges are nice and not too red. They have a yellow tinge which suits my skin better. I’m am so pleasantly surprised by how much I like this eye pallet and how easy it is to achieve an eye look. I used the largest lightest shade as my base, top middle shade in my crease and the top left shade on the outer corner. I used the bottom right shade on my inner corner as a highlight and used the darkest shade on an angle brush sprayed with Urban Decay all nighter as a liner to create a wing. First and foremost: FINALLY, someone ‘Gets It’: A larger pan for base color! This palette has mostly lighter and medium colors, so this is a great choice if you’re looking to use up other eyeshadow pans that are darker, and want an all-around, use with everything, basic shadow palette. It mixes well with everything, other brands, wet and dry, and natural or synthetic bristle eyeshadow brushes. The color payoff/pigment is okay, given the price point… Fallout also okay: To minimize this, I have discovered a very light spritz of water helps tremendously. Looking at the previous reviews, it's clear that most people buying this are into the basic looks with one or two shades being used at the most. This palette isn't for that, or it would be wasted if that's the intention when buying. I wear at least five or six shades when I do a look – transition, crease, outer corner, inner corner, lid, etc. So I'll get plenty of use out of this palette. And as for the reviewer who questioned the yellow eyeshadow – it has many uses if you're actually into eyeshadow and makeup. It warms up a crease colour, it's excellent for blending the oranges and reds into for a warm eye look. It's not typically for just slapping all over the eye as a one and done look! The reviews here mostly don't do this palette justice and it looks like others have purchased it for the wrong reasons. I haven't bought a Tarte eyeshadow palette in years because they make the same palette over and over color story wise. This one definitely stands out and is beautiful. I swatched all the colors and anyone who says green doesn't have pigment or the mattes are chalky, I didn't find this to be the case. All colors have excellent payoff. The problem I found which was hard to notice given the layout and texture of some pans, many of the shades are VERY similar. ESP the golds/coppers/shimmers. They're all near identical once applied. Then I noticed that your limited to about 3/4 looks with this entire palette. That's why I took 1 star away. The green and yellow make this palette stand out. I think that's why it's eye catching. It could have used another variation of each shade. If you remove those, you almost have every other Tarte palette. Also a couple shades that were textured had sheen on top but once swatched, the sheen was gone. So essentially it becomes a matte. The sheen was just a top layer. Little deceiving. I don't regret buying this palette because it's stunning. The case is so sleek and beautiful. It's one of tarte's nicest packaging. Very upscale. But I would wait for a sale or bare in mind the limited looks. Such a beautiful palette for fall.Marylandmaven
Looking for a shadow palette to put in a care package to send to my daughter in college. I looked at several brands and none of them had that Wow factor that would make a great gift. The rep came over and showed me the Maneater (it was on display in the back of the store so I hadn't seen it with Tartes other shadows). I knew it was exactly what she would love.
