Looking at the previous reviews, it's clear that most people buying this are into the basic looks with one or two shades being used at the most. This palette isn't for that, or it would be wasted if that's the intention when buying. I wear at least five or six shades when I do a look – transition, crease, outer corner, inner corner, lid, etc. So I'll get plenty of use out of this palette. And as for the reviewer who questioned the yellow eyeshadow – it has many uses if you're actually into eyeshadow and makeup. It warms up a crease colour, it's excellent for blending the oranges and reds into for a warm eye look. It's not typically for just slapping all over the eye as a one and done look! The reviews here mostly don't do this palette justice and it looks like others have purchased it for the wrong reasons. I haven't bought a Tarte eyeshadow palette in years because they make the same palette over and over color story wise. This one definitely stands out and is beautiful. I swatched all the colors and anyone who says green doesn't have pigment or the mattes are chalky, I didn't find this to be the case. All colors have excellent payoff. The problem I found which was hard to notice given the layout and texture of some pans, many of the shades are VERY similar. ESP the golds/coppers/shimmers. They're all near identical once applied. Then I noticed that your limited to about 3/4 looks with this entire palette. That's why I took 1 star away. The green and yellow make this palette stand out. I think that's why it's eye catching. It could have used another variation of each shade. If you remove those, you almost have every other Tarte palette. Also a couple shades that were textured had sheen on top but once swatched, the sheen was gone. So essentially it becomes a matte. The sheen was just a top layer. Little deceiving. I don't regret buying this palette because it's stunning. The case is so sleek and beautiful. It's one of tarte's nicest packaging. Very upscale. Looking for a shadow palette to put in a care package to send to my daughter in college. I looked at several brands and none of them had that Wow factor that would make a great gift. The rep came over and showed me the Maneater (it was on display in the back of the store so I hadn't seen it with Tartes other shadows). I knew it was exactly what she would love. This was my first Morphe palette! I'm very picky about my eyeshadows so this review will be a little more critical. If you're thinking about purchasing this palette, you can't go wrong with it and I definitely wouldn't discourage taking it home. The pigment wasn't quite there but the colors are still very beautiful, and the colorway/range allows for lots of creativity. I love Morphe's palettes purely for that fact and appreciate how the consumer gets the most bang for their buck; you can experiment with lots of eye looks. To sum it up, I knocked off a star because the pigment isn't as intense as I would like (again, I'm picky about my eyeshadows), but I enjoy using it and it's one of my go-to palettes. So i know everyone raves about this palette so my review is not a surprise but i adore this palette! It is one of the best neutral palettes out there im my opinion. The shades are so cohesive and blend together perfectly. The black shade is one of the best black eyeshadows ive ever come across. Anastasia's shadow formula is incredible! This palette is one of my "everyday" palettes to do a quick neutral look. Also ive used it many times to create a "night out" look. It is neutral shades but very versatile at the same time. My favorite thing to do with this palette is to do shadow winged liner, it looks more natural then using liquid liner all the time. For being a Makeup By Mario product I would expect a 60 dollar eyeshadow pallet of this small size to be of good quality and condition. Reading reviews I had seen mixed reactions, some regarding the dirty condition the brand new pallet came in. Regardless of the few negative reviews I bit the bullet and bought the pallet. As you can see, the pallet comes dusted/smudged in eyeshadow fallout or pigment all on the outside of the pallet and the black cardboard the pallet comes packaged in. The inside of the pallet was full of fallout, and multiple pans of shadow are wiggling and falling out! This is not professional quality, maybe the batch of shadows being sold are slightly faulty or get damaged in shipping, but from what I’ve seen this production issue has been going on for months. I’m personally willing to overlook the issue if the performance of the shadow impresses me; if not I’ll be returning. I love Makeup by Mario but am not thrilled with this palette. I tried various application methods (finger, brush, even a sponge tip since sometimes sparkle shades work well with them), both wet and dry, and I am not impressed. It’s not horrible, but it’s not great. I found the neutrals applied better than the richer color shades, but good neutrals are easy to find. I wish the teal and green shades were better because those were the selling points for me. Many colors were hard to pick up and they applied uneven. I’ve had worse, but overall I don’t think this is worth it. It's too bad, because it’s a good size and has a nice color variety. I absolutely love the matte palette so I was pretty disappointed with this. For metallics and shimmers, I will stick to Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath. Listen, I am normally a shimmer and glitter girl. But sometimes that can be a bit much, especially at work (for my profession). I've never owned a palette of just matte shadows before. This is a banger! It has helped me improve my placement to accentuate my eyes best. I used this without a primer, and it lasted all day in 90 degree weather. And I didn't even have to pack on shadow with I can just imagine how it can pop even more with primer. Now I understand when MUAs say you need one good palette of just mattes. It has a lot of range: from "no make-up" make-up, to soft glam and smoky eye. I still love me some shimmer, but I can do some gorgeous eye looks with or without the bells and whistles. Just neutral classic gorgeousness! I own a LOT of palettes (product junkie!), but I've gotten to pan on this one faster than any palette in a long time. Will be needing another one soon. I normally love too faced eyeshadow palettes and have several in my collection. I don't believe it is up to too faced standards by any means. It's much smaller than a normal too faced palette. There is a sticker on the back that says not to use "think pink" color for eyes. I'm not sure why and I feel maybe they pushed this product out before being up to standards. I don't like that the names of the colors are on the back and not displayed on the palette itself but this is not a total deal breaker. The quality is chalkier than all my other too faced palettes and I feel I have to use a lot of what little eyeshadow there is to really get any color to show up even with my pasty white skin. At first when I saw this pallet, I wasn’t too convinced. After a while I warmed up to it and ended up liking it ! I love the blue as a base after a cut crease I love the packaging it’s different from their other pallets. I’m still trying to warm up to the browns because I really like neutral browns and the ones on this pallet they’re a little more red tones and I haven’t really worked it those before. I didn't love it at first, but did get compliments on Zoom calls. So this review is for the original release in 2017 (yes, in fact, my palette is 5 years old)! 😬 I was originally interested in this palette due to the hype surrounding it (Jaclyn is a phenomenal saleswoman if nothing else) and I was in the market for a big palette with tons of possibilities. I do love that it includes a good range of shades, tones, contrasts, and finishes. I don’t like, however, the amount of browns. There are about 11 varying shades of taupe/brown and they all start looking the same after a while. A few could have been replaced with some cooler tones like a mauve or even gray. I do really love the formula of the metallics though. Five years later and they are still creamy and opaque! There are two shades I hate – the deep royal blue and the metallic brown 3 shades over from it (same row). Both were pressed SO hard in the pan, they’re frustrating to use and difficult to work with. Overall, I got a ton of use out of this palette (you can tell by the dips in the shades which ones I used most. One more thing to add – the shade names aren’t on the palette itself. They were typed up on Microsoft Word and printed out on computer paper and stuck in with the palette! 😂😂alicia.d
This palette is amazing! It’s got a little bit of everything that I use regularly on a daily basis. I love the simple nude tones the most, especially the shimmer finish ones. This palette is perfect for creating a natural everyday look that you can add a little pop of color to, all in one palette! No dipping into other palettes to create transition colors or defusers. I love that Jaclyn created such a huge palette with a wide variety of colors that I personally use every day. Great price and value for how many shadows you get and how pigmented these all are. The Jacklyn Hill x Morphe palette is my first purchase within the Morphe company. Usually, I stick to Tarte, Too Faced, or Urban Decay shadows. I liked the colors and looked into the palette but never truly gave it a second thought. However, I decided to get it while wandering around Ulta. I figured the price was pretty high but it was getting a lot of attention. I gotta say this is officially is my go-to palette. The colors are highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. They also stay on all daaaaay. I can come home from a 12 hour day and have to use coconut oil or micellar water to actually remove it, considering that water doesn't do a damn thing. So it stays on tremendously well. Even application is fairly simple, these colors blend perfectly and the fallout is rarely an issue. They blend well into each other, and the color varies from your basic nudes to your Saturday night party purple is splendid. I enjoy that I can play around with different looks and only have to reach for one palette. This also includes the use of highlighter and contour. The shadows are fairly decent sized, It's not hard to dip your contour/highlight brush into it. The pinks actually are pretty neat when used as a highlighter and they have several browns that can be used with most skin tones as a contour. I enjoyed this even and made the everyday usage of this palette even more valuable. Skin sensitivity. I tend to have sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. However, this velvety formula has caused no issues. I was impressed that it was literally everything, good with sensitive skin, highly pigmented, multi-usage from shadow to contour, and a stay-all-day wear. I'm hoping other Morphe palettes are just as exceptional and will be looking forward to those purchases. Until then, I gotta say this is my favorite palette thus far. Listen, it’s a luxurious lovely lovely texture! I got Body Heat btw. BUT! Returned it only due to the fact that the bottom 2 shades looked pretty much identical once applied on the eyes. For the price, i would have liked to see a difference. I soooo wanted to love this. I got Leopard Sun as a gift and while the shades are nice, I wanted something more sultry hence getting body heat. Gave it 4 stars for the packaging, the experience, how you feel when implying the shadows (bougie AF) and I did like the quality but had to take away 1 for the lack of originality in the current selection of quads. If you can afford one, go for it. If you have to save up to get one, I would tell you to try something else!Leeeloo
Bought as a splurge/curiosity. The colours are very nice, fairly pigmented, easy to blend, and smooth. The brown isn’t as deep as I would like it to be. I find when I blend it with the pink/mauve shade, it doesn’t do much even after building up quite a bit. I think the pink/mauve and brown should be used separately as deepening shades. The top left is a topper/glitter and is very pretty. It’s good for a basic shimmery eye. 4 stars because I like the formula and the colours, but there are good quality palettes with similar shades for a better price.cutelyne
but, I’m so used to more pigmented eyeshadows and most high end eyeshadows are more subtle. It is buildable but took awhile to get there. These shadows are soft and buttery, almost silky finish, very sophisticated. However, I prefer pigmented shadows, especially if I’m rushing out the door. That being said, I do like it. These are in my option some of the best eyeshadow palettes out there. First of all the only have five shades per palette. Seriously, how many different shades do we need to create decent eye looks ?>Having a smaller pallet also makes it extremely portable .plus this palette is has a pretty unique locking mechanism, so it won’t be crushed on the bottom of your makeup bad. I also love that these five shadows are especially pigmented and have minimal fall out. The different palettes each have some basic conservative colors but always have a few pops of fresh contrasting color. Most of all I prize Lancome’s consistency. You know what your products formula will be every time it delivered onto your eyes. Unfortunately my favorite had is getting harder to find but I adore is #12 Rose Fusion. I’m not a child any longer but still manage to look half decent during his pandemic. Excuse my eyeballs though. I’m running on fumes

This is a very beautiful palette. The colours are neutral and enhance my natural brown eyes. These are subtle shimmery and glides likes a butter. This is so versatile palette that I use it during day and smoke out with the black eye shadow for the glam night look. I don't use eye primers but just buff concealer which I use for under eye, very lightly and this eye shadow stayed without creasing. All in all I find myself reaching for this palette everytime. The hype is real. One of the very first palette I bought for myself and I'm absolutely in love! The first thing that caught my eyes was the versatility of the shades. There's multiple shades ranging from your must-have neutrals, eye popping berry tones, and some shimmer shades for that extra umph. As a beginner in eyeshadow, the idea of smokey looks is scary to think about doing. However, with this palette, you can easily achieve simple looks with the light colored shades and work your way up to sexy smolders with the darker shades. It's absolutely perfect for any event, whether it be for work, school, errands, or a date night. Packaging – 9/10 In my opinion, packaging is the second most important to any beauty product. If it looks bomb, you'll want to use it even more. Amirite or amirite? The box it comes in is very minimalistic. The magic happens once you open the box. The palette is the exact same design BUT it's velvet. The only issue with the velvet is that it's very easy to get dirty and scratched. My palette came with a pretty noticeable scratch and it breaks my heart every time I look at it. So here's the tip: Don't throw away the box, store the palette in it to keep it in the best shape. Application – 9/10 The application makes it a no brainer why this palette is rated the top palette in almost every makeup retail store and rating site. A little truly goes a long way; the shades are so pigmented and they blend like a dream. A very minor downside is that there is a little bit of fallout so I would advise to be careful with how you use your brush to avoid the "pigment explosion" (the tragedy when you dip your brush too hard and the powder gets everywhere). Other than that, the quality is in-credible. Price – Is it worth? YES! it's a little pricey but it's definitely worth the investment. Well to start off Born to Run is a very versatile palette, with beautiful neutrals , and stunning shimmer shades. Tons of looks can be created from this single palette from dramatic , to natural , you name it . The eyeshadows perform very well and blend like a dream . Some shimmer shades do come off a little sheer but nothing a wet eyeshadow brush can’t fix . In this picture as u can see the shade I reach for the most is stranded . They blend well into each other, and the color varies from your basic nudes to your Saturday night party purple is splendid. I enjoy that I can play around with different looks and only have to reach for one palette. This also includes the use of highlighter and contour. The shadows are fairly decent sized, It's not hard to dip your contour/highlight brush into it. The pinks actually are pretty neat when used as a highlighter and they have several browns that can be used with most skin tones as a contour. I enjoyed this even and made the everyday usage of this palette even more valuable. Skin sensitivity. I tend to have sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. However, this velvety formula has caused no issues. I was impressed that it was literally everything, good with sensitive skin, highly pigmented, multi-usage from shadow to contour, and a stay-all-day wear. I'm hoping other Morphe palettes are just as exceptional and will be looking forward to those purchases. Until then, I gotta say this is my favorite palette thus far. Wanted to post this review, mostly to show you the color story of this palette (pictures taken in daylight). One of the colors is hidden on the product page itself but you know what? The palette itself is really not bad at all. First of all, I got it during the sale so it was under 10 CAD for me, and to be honest, I didn't expect much of it… Just something different to try, inexpensive, to break the routine… But the palette is actually good. It had three shimmers (one in every quadrant except for the top left one) and 5 mattes. All shimmers and all mattes are consistent in quality. The shimmers are slightly on the drier side but still quite pigmented and I didn't notice any fallout applying with my finger. The mattes are hard-pressed but soft at the same time and very buildable; you can go easy on them for a little pigment or build as much as you like. That black is amazing, so in a pinch, would definitely work as a quick, soft liner. I only used this palette once so far and with no primer, I didn't notice any significant difference in terms of wear time, compared to other shadows I use (and my makeup collection is pretty vast in terms of price and brand range, so I'm speaking from a perspective of someone who has lots to compare to). So solid 4 stars, really nothing wrong with this palette at all if the color story appeals to you. And the packaging is light, so good for traveling, safe gift for a makeup lover as well since it's leaning neutral, mirror… What else can we possibly want? It's made in China though, so that could be a downside for some… And I did notice a very slight, kind of plasticky smell which often goes alongside eyeshadows coming from PRC but it's hardly noticeable unless you really stick your nose in it as I did…LOL But considering the price and the versatility, I still say this palette deserves 4 stars. This eyeshadow quad is really versatile in that you can use it wet or dry. I used it both ways and both applications work well. The wet gives a deeper, intense, bolder look and the dry is a traditional, still nicely saturated sweep of color; just let it dry for a couple of minutes if wetting it before adding any other color or liner. The palette I’m wearing “Clap Back” has a beautiful violet/blue along with rose and sand tones; perfect for a smokey eye. This does have a wavy appearance but that’s strictly a marketing gimmick as it adds nothing as far as performance but it’s still different and unique visually. There are other palette choices available in the prismatic line which is nice. Overall a good, solid performing eyeshadow palette that is long wearing and pretty. I have # 961 which is a dark brown, beige, gold, and rose gold pallete. The colors are beautiful, and even the cashier at the drugstore liked them. I wanted this palette to do Korean style eye looks which are minimal and shade the lash lines above and below. Unfortunately, I noticed after many days testing that this eyeshadow does not last at all. It fades out after a few hours and disappears by the end of a workday. I have a Wet n Wild palette and the awesome Docolor palettes I bought off AliExpress that last all day compared to the Revlon So Fierce palette. It's at the point now that I am thinking of getting rid of the Revlon palette. I think applying this palette with the fingers would have better results, except that it's hard to line your eyes with shadow by finger. I did try cotton buds but it resulted in powder fallout and uneven application. Brushes work ok with this palette but the shadow doesn't seem to grip to the skin. I think this pallete could be suitable for short term wear of a few hours applied with the fingers, primer, and setting spray haha.true.r
I first purchased the cool-toned “That’s a Dub” palette when these first came out. It’s stunning, but the palest colour quickly disintegrated and made the other colours all smeary. I had to pick it all out and wipe it clean, leaving me with the three darker colours. No biggie, that’s why I purchased it anyway. The metallics in these palettes are better than high-end ones that I already have. They have a much lighter base than you would think judging by appearance, and they are so smooth and blendable, you can apply them in a subtle, sheer layer for work, and build them perfectly for an evening look. I have recently purchased a backup and the “Tantrum” palette, and it’s amazing too. Once again, the colours pull differently than they would appear. The coral colour is softer when applied with a light hand and multi chrome gold when built. The gold/bronze pulls cooler and slightly greener. I didn’t think I’d love this as much as I do. I’ve had this about a week and already the first two shades, while intact, have become entirely loose in the pan. I love that these palettes are so well-curated and quads like this mean that there are no redundant shades. While I reach for these over my high-end palettes on a daily basis and I intend to buy the other two palettes, I wouldn’t ever travel with them or carry them in my handbag as they are so very fragile.Justilou

I LOVE this palette! The shades are beautiful, useful, pigmented, diverse. The size is perfect to carry everywhere and you can create amazing looks with it! The price is so affordable for such quality of eyeshadow and i like that it contains only two matte colors which are the basics beige and brown and the rest are high pigmented shimmery shades which gives you the opportunity to create more looks. The only bad thing about this palette is that it is so fragile! You can’t shake it or make a wrong move, it will break immediately. When I first picked this up I wasn't too sure if the pigmentation or the blend ability were going to be all that good however I was pleasantly surprised. The shimmers are gorgeous and really easy to work with and have next to no fall out. The two matte shades are beautiful to work through the crease and blend really easily and are not patchy at all. Even though they look almost cool toned, the matte shades are warmer than I had initially expected. Despite this, they are both beautiful shades that are really buildable. This palette is superb for creating a perfect autumn eye look!! The only improvement I could suggest is adding another matte shade, slightly darker than the other two.amber.h

I'm not one of those people who "contours" anything. I slap some makeup on in the morning to even out my skin and prefer to look like I'm not wearing make-up. I recently transitioned all of my makeup over to Thrive products. I have used many (almost every brand) of eye shadow on the market. I was not sure whether this brand would work for me because I need my eye shadow to last 12+ hours a day. First I purchased pallet 1 and loved it so much came back and bought pallet 2. These eye shadows are absolutely beautiful. They are full of color pigment, have no fall out (almost a cream consistency), and glide on to your eye easily. I did use the 360 eye lift primer before applying the shadows (which is a wonderful product also). Although these have a shimmer to them there is no glitter and it is very soft more like a sheen. Each of the eye pallet colors blend together well to create an every day eye look. Only a small amount of product is needed on your brush because it is full of color. {Tip: For a night out, simply apply the darkest shade to the outer corner of your eye lid in a "v" shape and blend. I have this 16 color palette in the rainbow shades. They have a few different shade options of this palette, but from what I understand…the formula in these palettes are the same, and I’ve heard that they all are great, and super pigmented. I love trying out new eye makeup, so when I saw this eyeshadow palette, I knew I had to try it! I chose the natural color palette, but I think all of the palettes are beautiful! I like that you can mix and match different shades and blend them. The shades in this palette are shimmery and very soft. I almost find them a little too soft dry, so I apply them wet. I have also used these as a brow filler and they work great! I don't use the applicator that comes with the palette though, as I prefer to use a brush to apply eye shadow. Overall, I definitely recommend trying out this palette! I will also add that luckily none of my eye shadows arrived broken, however, I would second the recommendation 5o buy this palette in the store due to the nature of the eye shadows.MnM20072010
The Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow, Naturalista provides nine shades that can be applied wet or dry. The dry application gives more of an earthy, natural coverage and the wet application provides a more intense color. This product leaves a long-lasting look, so a quick application in the morning and you are set for the day. I love the color palatte, but was not impressed with the applicators included. One double-ended applicator was included for the nine shades of color. This did not allow for clean application for each shade. I like to apply my eyeshadow with a brush, rather than a sponge tip. I have also applied this shadow with my fingertip. I liked the silky texture of the eye shadow and would recommend this product. However, I would recommend you purchase a higher quality applicator to accompany it.SSSandANS
Okay, way to go Almay, definitely stepping up your game!! Love this palette, I got the Naturlista one and wow. I usually never use drugstore level eyeshadow because it's not usually good, but this Almay palette is another level! They blend effortlessly and are pigmented! The shades are beautiful and I just love it! The shadows are very buttery, and they blend like a dream. I enjoy the shade selection, and you can go from a more natural look to a going out look in seconds. This eyeshadow lasted without creasing or fading all day without an eyelid primer, and that is extremely impressive. The shadows are not the most pigmented shadows, but I enjoy this because it makes it easier to blend and to create a softer look. The shadows can appear deeper if you use them wet. Also, this eyeshadow did not bother my eyes at all, and it did not create a lot of fallout on my face when I was applying it.jengee

The Zulu palette is a great starter palette if you like color. The 9-pan palette doesn’t include any shade names, but there are 6 matte and 3 shimmer shades. The top 3 shades are perfect for a warm brown smokey eye and the mauve shade on the bottom row makes an excellent blush. If I had to chose my favorite shades from the palette, it would probably be the purple matte and the turquoise shimmer shades. I love all Juvia’s Place products. They are super affordable. Their formulas are consistent with all their other palettes. You always have a wide color selection. The packaging designs are always beautiful. Seriously, what’s not to love?kanisha.d
I purchased this eyeshadow palette just the other day at Ulta in Richfield after seeing it online, as the colors looked beautiful to me, I hadn't tried products from this brand (Juvia's Place) before, and it was even on a large sale, too! This is a palette I would strongly and easily feel comfortable recommending to others who enjoy using colorful eyeshadows and are looking for eyeshadow shades with a soft, strongly pigmented, and easily blendadable formula/consistency! This color story is so bright, colorful, and unique. It's matte heavy but Juvias Place mattes are to die for. The shimmers that are in this palette are stunning and work well with the mattes. I've always LOVED ColourPop shadows, and this palette is pigmented and awesome as usual. All the greens are so pretty! Since my skin tone is quite yellow – I can either apply them directly (they'd show up grey-ish) for a lowkey smoky look, or apply them on top of primer and let the green POP (kinda like the 00s makeup). "Precious Cargo" (top left) might have a different, more gel-like formulation, thus giving a more subtle shine, but it's still very cute. "Just Like a Tatooine" (top right) is a beautiful colour, but it's too close to my actual skin colour so I don't use it as much with the rest of this palette. The embedded mirror is absolutely adorable! Get it if you like baby Yoda. Get it if you're looking for olive green. Also get it if you want to go for a luxurious or cottage-core vibe.Wisteria H.
Cutest palette and color scheme. However, I go to use it for the first time for a wedding and one of the shades falls right out. You can tell it is very cheaply made even though it is a “special edition collaboration” and costs more. I don’t know how they are able to continue to collaborate with concepts I’d they are making palettes like these. I have had 2 issues with Colourpop palettes previously. One shade came crumbled in one. And in a blush palette, one came shattered and was already all over the place and mixed into all the other shades. What is this? Why such low quality but talked of highly? Of course this time, the order passed the 2 week mark. So I just wasted my money. 🤷🏻♀️ Already unsubbed from all CP messages and will never purchase again. My review is actually for @colourpop That's Taupe, but I can't find it on here and I can't find any way to list it, but I figured that anyone interested in purples might like this, too. So taupe is a bit of brown mixed with grey, making it the perfect neutral for everyone, but especially those of us who are cool or neutral toned. I can't wear brown, it washes me out. But I like having a neutral option, especially given my love of red lipstick. This finally was the perfect thing and it's inexpensive. The glitters aren't remotely the quality of Huda, but they'll work, especially with a dot of concealer. Two shades have a dab of pink, so that's nice. I'm not a fan of mattes, but I can blend in a shimmer. I would have preferred one of the top ones to have been an ivory shimmer, tbh, as this got a little monotonous, but eventually I'll use 90% of this up. The bottom center glitter was also a tad redundant and I'd have probably preferred another lighter glitter or a midtone shimmer in a soft pink maybe there, but in all, I'm happy to get that deep slate shade. That's the all star shade. This could be reworked as one of the world's best quads or something. At any rate, for the price, this is a must have for those of us who can't do warmer browns.sarah.j

Picked up another Ultimate Utopia palette this past weekend. On sale with a digital coupon. Too bad they only had one in the color story I like at [brand:cvs] , but I still needed at least one since the glitters were empty on my last palette. I go through the glitters the most. Love both the golds and the light green one. There's a little fallout, even if you use a primer and setting spray, but I'm attached to the glitters and the fallout is only noticeable if you get super close to my face. Wish the smaller version of this palette had all of the glitters and shimmers I like. Despite not using all the mattes, I think this palette is worth all of my repurchases. Recommended if you are looking to play with some fun colors and pretty shimmers and glitters. I used the palest matte from the top row and the charcoal-undertoned gold on the bottom row over it in my pic. So this isn't the palette I intended to buy in the first place, I was in a rush and added the wrong saved palette to my order. Customer service wasn't any help, so my feelings toward this palette may have already been soured. The colors are pretty, but different than advertised. There are not any true reds, but orange and pink toned ones. That works for me, I would prefer those anyways lol. the pigment is okay, a bit blotchy without a good base. The main problem I have is more than HALF of the palette consists of "pressed powders", and when reading the back of the palette it says that pressed powder CANNOT be used on or around eyes. Half of those being the colors I was most excited to use on my eyes! I would of never even saved this palette had I known that, so unless you want 9 colors you can't use on your eyes, then don't even bother with this. I expected so much better from NYX.Bek
I was very disappointed with this palette! I thought it looked really cute in the store and swatched decent enough that I felt confident enough to work with them. I was mistaken. Quite a few of the colors were hard to work with. The gold one would not catch for anything, no matter what I used (hands, brush, sponge). Even when I got some on the lid, it would disappear after a short while. A lot of the colors are like that. They (most of the shimmers and some of the mattes) go on really light and you have to build them up, but they disappear after a while being on your lids. I have used primer at times, none at others, and that did not make a difference. Just so disappointed, I threw it away instead of having someone else go through that. They blend kind of good, but like disappear as you are blending them (again, not all, but a lot of the colors perform like this, at least the palette I had). I really love wearing blues on my brown eyes. I never tried anything from Juvia, but am really impressed with the pigmentation. At first when i applied it looked a bit too intense on my lighter medium skin but i tried applying with my fingers and got a softer but still dramatic application. Really love the shimmery finishes and there is no fault out, very good quality. I definitely want to try more of the palettes.Jen7
