The is a daily lightweight moisturising lotion for the face. It has been specially formulated to protect the skin barrier with 3 essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) and MVE technology to provide instant and long lasting hydration. It also contains niacinamide which plays an important role in soothing and helping to restore the skin barrier hyaluronic acid to help retain the skin’s natural moisture. It is oil free non-comedogenic so won’t clog your pores. I found this to be a very soothing, calming hydrating moisturiser. It was a little bit lighter than I prefer for a night-time moisturiser but I still enjoyed using ittaz.m
It’s good. That’s all it pretty much was for me. If you’re looking for something simple, not greasy, fast absorbent and no fragrance this maybe be it for you. I actually got this in the winter as I needed something moisturizing and realized this just didn’t do it for me. My skin needs more moisture. Although the formula is really nice, after a few hours I felt I needed to reapply. Yes I used this during the day in the winter because I thought PM would be ‘heavier.’ This is not bad for summer though and I like to apply it after my toner and right before my sunscreen and it works great. I’m not quite sure how to feel about this yet. I’m a huge CeraVe fan so this doesn’t sway my thoughts on them as a company at all, a lot of huge brands have hits and misses. I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now and I’m just really not sure how to feel. I love lightweight moisturizers but to be honest, this one feels like cheap lotion you get from a hotel. I've tried it three or four times now, and every time it gets in my eyes and they end up burning, watery,and painful, even though I avoid the eye area, and sometimes hours later. I used this as a daily moisturizer after cleansing and using a toner. It absorbed into my skin well, and I loved the dewy way it made my skin look. I used the same small bottle for several months, so a little goes a long way! Unfortunately, it made my skin feel very congested, and my acne flared up. My pores were full of gunk, my face was really oily, and I started getting cystic acne on my face and neck. I use twice a day, when I get up I wash my face with just water and put 1 pump of this on and then before bed I wash my face with the gentle milk cleanse then put 1 pump on my face again. I have been using Tula for almost a year and have had nothing but amazing results. I am 26 and have had constant break outs since I was 12 years old. This is my favorite moisturizer cause it's doesn't clog my pores and helps my acne. My only beef with it is the packaging. I got to the point where it was getting harder to pump anything out and once it stopped completely, I snipped it open because I could tell there was still some inside. There's still so much product left in it. I will buy again but I hope they change bottle a bit. But don't get me wrong, this product is AMAZING. And I love this company. I received a sample of this lotion and tried it only to get a terrible itchy rash all over my face and neck (exactly where I used this lotion) about a day later! The rash got progressively worse over the course of another day. I've never had a reaction like this to a skincare product. This is the only new product I've tried recently, though I've used all sorts of things over the years. I suspect this is some kind of allergic reaction; the only allergy I have that I know of is a mild one to shellfish (iodine dye). I suspect the algae ingredients, possibly Ahnfeltiopsis Concinna Extract, may be involved here but am not sure. I've used other products with marine ingredients and had no issues. I'm still dealing with the rash and itch now, and relieved only that it's a pandemic so I can legitimately not leave my house until it clears up. I bought this set (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) to try and it has honestly been the ONLY thing that drastically reduced my oiliness and while I still get those big hormonal acne spots that's painful and has no head, it's significantly less. I bought this moisturizer on Amazon after previously using a $23 one that I finally used up. I wasn’t really expecting much as I think it only had 24 reviews but the majority were positive and for $10.99 I decided to try it out. Firstly, it’s lightweight but hydrates my skin and this is important for me because heavy moisturizers just irritate my skin that is already acne prone and can lead to me breaking out. Secondly, it has quality ingredients that are understandable and what I’ve been specifically looking for in a moisturizer, my last moisturizer had salicylic acid but didn’t offer many other beneficial ingredients that weren’t too harsh for the skin like this one. I have been using this with the toner now and my dark spots are fading from a recent whitehead breakout I had which turned into a huge pimple and left a really dark mark behind, I I feel like the two combined are really benefiting my skin. Lastly, this moisturizer is just everything my skin needs, it isn’t going to be for everyone and that’s a given with any product so remain open minded, but if you have normal skin (slightly oily around my t-zone and normal everywhere else) this could work for you and hopefully it does!KJTW
Listen, I have struggled with acne since I was 12 years old. I have tried so many products on my face throughout the years. This is a lightweight moisturizer that never makes my combination/oily skin feel greasy. Nor does it make it feel tight or dry. My skin is ultra sensitive to products and I never have any stinging or tingling. I have noticed fewer breakouts and when I do inevitably have a pimple, I stick a peach slices acne patch on and typically it's gone within 2 to 3 days. I have gotten multiple comments on my skin from different people since I started using this moisturizer; including that my skin looks hydrated and glowy and beautiful. Which is some thing that was never said about my skin. The tiniest bit of product goes a long way too and I straight up just use this durning the day every day instead of CeraVe's moisturizing lotion… and wishing a couple of weeks my skin has looked wonderful. I recently have started my journey into the world of skincare. I've been having a wonderful time trying out all kinds of cleansers, moisturizers, masks, etc. Today I tried out a sample of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion With Sunscreen that I had received complements of their website. This product was a heavier face cream, and you can definitely smell the sunscreen in it. The scent did not bother my sensitive skin though. I have combination/oily skin and this moisturizer made my skin kind of shiny, and a little bit oily. It absorbed quickly and evenly into my skin and wasn't sticky or tacky feeling in any way. It left my skin feeling very soft and smooth, and very very hydrated. I'm kind of left feeling torn on this product because while it did do a great job at hydrating my skin and making it soft, it also almost left it with a layer of oil on top of it. What it is, is a micro-fine zinc oxide sunscreen for UVA/UVB protection. This moisturizer with SPF is a hydrating facial lotion that spreads easily, is absorbed quickly, and leaves a non-greasy finish. All-day hydration with broad spectrum sun protection. 3 essential ceramides to help restore skin's natural barrier. Developed with dermatologists, this hydrating face lotion- featuring 3 essential ceramides moisturizes throughout the day and provides broad spectrum protection with SPF 30. The CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion was a product I was really curious about, so I've decided to give it a try. I know many of you here know it for a long time but it still is a new product to me. One of the main reasons why I wanted to try it (I have oily skin that is really "moody" when the weather changes) is the fact that it's oil free, and it sounds pretty good to have 2 skincare steps in one. The product itself is a white lightweight cream, fragrance free, that is super easy to apply. Neither my fingers or my face felt greasy after. It doesn't have a matte finish but I'm glad it's not sticky or sweaty looking. After a couple of minutes, I applied my primer and was really glad to notice that there was no pilling. I know plenty of people complain about the lotion coming off after but I didn't experience that. Makeup was applied successfully with no interference. I'm not sure if this is the best option for my skin type but it's not a bad one either. If you know a better moisturizing lotion with SPF for oily skin, please, let me know.ananda.a
Probably quite generous with my star rating considering my experience, but I am aware that works for one, might not work for someone else. Unfortunately, I fall into the latter group. I purchased this encouraged by the fact that CeraVe are typically a good brand for those with sensitive skin, which I have. However, after applying this in the morning regularly for a few days, I ended up with raised small pumps on my T-zone, not quite spots, but definitely some contact irritation. I can only attribute it to this product as my skin routine was consistent otherwise. Also, after a few hours of having it on my face, I would end up with irritated red eyes where the cream would seep into my eyes. This would happen even without perspiration or rubbing the eyes. I've since switched to a LaRoche SPF moisturising lotion which I can't fault at all – no bumps/ red eyes, lightweight and fast absorbing.Alex

I have long had issues with recurring cystic and comedonal acne, whilst also having dry skin. Yes, acne and dry skin together, which is really hard to find products for, especially when my skin is sensitive too. This moisturizer has been an absolute blessing for me, I can lock so much more moisture into my skin without clogging my pores. It has also greatly reduced irritation and sensitivity in my skin. If you have issues with dry skin, especially if its producing excess oil as a result, have acne with dry skin, or have sensitive skin, I would absolutely recommend you try this. Similar to other posts, my wife has seen some improvement in my forehead lines so I will continue usage. It does have a fairly strong, almost glue-like smell, but it does not linger. I use this with clean break moisturizer at night. I have tried usage after shaving and it does tingle a bit but it is not overbearing. This is fantastic as he wears this at night as he's so against any daytime moisturizer (unless sunscreen when he golfs) this is extremely light and he wakes with baby soft skin that he loves to show off and his face is non greasy without the tacky left over texture… Really actually no texture except baby smooth skin so I bought his more for him to travel with. Well I ran out of my stuff (prescription acne medication) the one day and I have oily acne prone skin and was going to work and def needed my daily treatment under my makeup I grabbed this and used it for the glycolic acid. Well let me tell you what. This is better than my prescription stuff my skin was FLAWLESS after my 12 hour shift!!!! No blotting, no oil whatsoever!!!! Who would have thought?! It's a bit strong if you've never used glycolic acid before, so use a little and build up your tolerance. Or start with something more mild. I have dry to normal skin type, I feel this is so thick moistuizer such that I get sweating and it is sticky. It is suitable for very dry skin and suitable for night routine. I love the ingredients in it and I use for only night routine as the last and final step.(I feel this is best for only PM routine) I can't use this for morning routine as it is thick and doesn't let any products on top of it for example: sunscreens (I used both mineral and chemical sunscreens) which is a must for AM routine, sunscreens doesn't blend with this product. Kindly make changes to product description (suitable for very dry skin, less is more (dry , normal, oily skin types)and suitable/best for night routine). Best stuff I've ever chosen to "try". I've had acne prone/oily/dry skin since my early 20's. I have used EVERYTHING out there to help clear it up. Nothing worked. Or something would help the acne, but completely dry my skin out that it literally hurt to smile. Or I'd use something to help with the dry skin, and my skin would go into rescue mode and create an immense amount of oil overcompensating for the dryness. It was frustrating, I was insecure. I had a glow. And even my acne wasn't as red, or aggitated looking. And had seemed actually slightly minimized. And now after 1 moths usage I can say that it worked really well for my skin So I wanna say skin care is subjective and some people might face issue with it because might it not have with the other products they are using so you have to give it a try . Fact : oily skin types it might be really heavy for you during summers so you can use it during winter times. Good moisturizer for normal dry combination skin for winters but not might be extra helpful too extremely dry skin you have to layer it up with another moisturizer or hydrating serum. I have been using the pump version of this product since 2014 and have never changed moisturizers since! I use prescription topical medicine for cystic acne and I am very oily. This product has always worked well with my prescription medicine and I’ve always been able to use this under make up as well without my face reacting while still keeping oil at bay. My only complaint is that it seems like Yes To has changed the packaging and maybe even the formula? So far it seems like my face is not negatively reacting to this new formula but I do wish the packaging was different. It just does not seem hygienic to dip my fingers in my moisturizer during every use. Of course I wash my hands before I do so but over time, this just does not seem as clean as when this product was packaged in a pump. When I saw the new packaging, I even thought it would be in a short pump like the Drunken Elephant moisturizer and was super excited but was then disappointed when I saw what it really was. I will continue to use this product as long as it doesn’t seem like I break out from the new formula or packaging but please consider changing the packaging back to some sort of a pump. I am very happy that I bought this product. I have bad acne and clogged pores since stopping my contraceptive pill four months ago. A few weeks ago I decided to act on it as the situation was not stabilising on its own. This moisturiser very quickly cleared my skin of most blemishes and gave it moisture. I don't know if it will be the same for you, but in my case I saw an amazing improvement the very next morning after I used it for the first time. My skin was much smoother and felt a lot softer than before using it. Most pimples and red spots had faded away. My skin is still having its rough days, but this product is helping the situation a lot. Note: if you have very dry skin like me and especially as the weather is getting really cold, I would recommend following up with a non comedogenic moisturiser. I love trying all natural products. I was excited to see words that I could read in the ingredient list. It isn't scented artificially so be prepared for an odd scent when first applying. No worries though because it doesn't linger. This moisturizer is thick but not heavy feeling on my skin. I feel like it settles in nicely and washes away clean at the end of the day. I've decided I really like this moisturizer. It feels almost like a light gel moisturizer, and seems to sit on the skin more than other moisturizers I've used. I feel like my skin is protected this way and it is a nice light layer between my skin and makeup. And when I don't wear makeup, it is absorbed enough so that my skin looks hydrated but is still protected. I bought this because I was using the Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream, and I was looking for alternatives to that. I came across Hyram's video about the Dr. Jart products, and then found out that Hyram now has his own skincare line. In the video, I also learned that essential oils can be harmful to your skin just like how general "fragrance" is harmful. It seemed like Hyram has done lots of research and is very knowledgeable of different skincare ingredients. I'm glad I tried this. I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually, foundation doesn't work with my skin very well. But, since I started using this moisturizer, makeup seems to be more even, and my skin looks and feels better without makeup. Thank you!K
First of all how bad can you rate a product that helps the world around it? Honestly. I cannot explain how much I love this product and how much I wish I could buy more of it. I remember reading reviews saying that if you have dry skin then you should consider looking somewhere else, and let me tell you that is bull! I have combination skin, but I do often get flare-ups of eczema on my face. Never in my life have I had a product that was able to keep my skin moisturized and not oily at the same time. I felt that I had to sacrifice one thing for another and that is just NOT true. Life-changing, honestly. Bought this on a whim while on sale, not expecting much at all… I was shocked to find it controlling shine in my oil-slick of a T-zone, while simultaneously hydrating enough to prevent settling/breakdown in my under eye area. Absorbs quickly and doesn’t pill if over-applied (I run late often and in my haste have been known to overdue it). But this was definitely a win for me! Side note: after reading other reviews I was so confused by the comments regarding the scent. I made a point of checking mine as I applied, and then again rubbed into the back of my hand. MAJOR ISSUE: This moisturizer is marketed for use with ""some acne treatments"". While it did not specify retinoids, I certainly surmised it included what is probably the most common class of topical acne treatments. This moisturizer should not be applied at the same time as a topical retinoid because it contains benzoic acid which actually inactivates retinoid creams. PROS: An extremely lightweight moisturizer – almost the consistency of a gel Dries quickly. Does not leave a greasy residue on my face It dramatically reduced the tight feeling I often get when I use too much of my retinoid cream. CONS: Did nothing to reduce inflammation associated with acne and acne treatments. It burns my face slightly. The burn isn't unbearable and doesn't last more than fifteen minutes. Can't be applied at the same time as topical retinoids…. This product does not even compare to the discontinued Oil Control Lotion. I haven't been able to find a product or combination of products that come close to the Oil Control Lotion.
I’ve used Dermalogica for about 25 years and can’t rate this product in particular highly enough. I’ve generally got good skin which is combination but every other sunscreen I’ve tried caused breakouts, feels too heavy or left a white cast. I’ve literally tried hundreds over the years chasing a higher factor and always come back to this product. Goes on beautifully no cast or pulling, sits excellently under moisturiser and makeup. It’s been like a primer before primers existed but sometimes I go in over the top. I never break out with it and it doesn’t sit in my open pores on my nose. Truly is the perfect sunscreen. This year alone I tried, Supergoop, Medik8, Shieseido, Clarins and La Roche Posay and Bondi Sands but still came back to this product. I just can’t fault it except I wish the factor was higher as I’m using retinol but you just have to reapply which we all should be doing anyway. Oh a bigger tube would be helpful too but a great size to chuck in your handbag.Laura
I have oily, acne prone adult skin. I use this in the mornings all year round, and also in the evenings during the summer. It is light weight and is not occlusive at all, so it isn't going to be doing any "locking in" of the moisture (like for naturally dry skin or during the winter) but I find that it's exactly what my oily skin needs for hydration and barrier support. It also had a unique, strong smell that I could imagine is off putting for a teenager ( it's a ginger-citrus smell).Angela

I'm a big fan of salicylic acid, as this is one of those ingredients that really works for me, so from the whole range of derma-e creams I stopped at a cream to restore the balance of acne. ⠀ The manufacturer says that it is suitable for problem and oily skin. Firstly, there are always situations when you say with almost complete certainty that the next day something will come out (I have this makeup for more than 12 hours in the heat and flights) with pre-existing inflammations that happen on the cleanest skin. Actually, this cream was purchased for these purposes. And I want to say right away that it works! ⠀ The product has a very dense consistency and a pronounced tea tree scent. Not everyone likes him, but I enjoy it🔥 The cream is absorbed in seconds without leaving grease. On the contrary, after use, the skin is matte and slightly tightened (not to be confused with dried out), but there is moisture. This effect is new to me. ⠀ I was very afraid that it was dry, even with daily use. I am smeared exclusively at night and only on those days when something bothers me. The rest of the time, yeouth moisturizer is in use and I'm happy with everything. I use this every morning on my T-Zone and see such a difference! My forhead can be blinding but this product mattes my shiny head. I also have hormonal acne, sensative and oily skin. I frequently would breakout on my forhead and chin but this product has helped calm my skin. A litttle goes a long way!
