Okay so let me just say this is AMAZING! I purchased this product through Amazon for about $13.00 U.S dollars and I still have my bottle almost full so this product will last you forever unless you spill it lol but besides reading all of the positive reviews I purchased it because I augger from hyperpigmentation left from old acne, I have tried it all! I've tried a chemical peel wich did almost nothing for me, I do the monthly beauty facial and at home stuff let's just say I even burned my own skin with pure lemon because I didn't know what to try anymore so I have this a try and it's only been 3 weeks but I already see some spots lightening up! I'm so happy and it also does not leave the skin oily or greasy! I apply it at night just because I want to give the product a fair shot on it's own. There isn't a bad scent to it, to me it just smells like regular oil not roses lol. It does leave the face a little yellow but it comes off when you wash off the next day. I ordered the rosehip oil after finding many glowingly positive reviews, and it has stood up to the expectations thus far. It's yellowish when I put a tiny bit on my hand to use on my face, but it doesn't make my face seem discoloured, which is nice. It has a quiet, good, natural scent, not overwhelming. Definitely not as strong as a perfume or a roll-on essential oil, but enough of a smell that it makes me happier when I use it. I haven't used it very long, but I have already noted some results. I have combination skin, so my skin is both too oily and too dry, but the oil helps with both problems! My skin is significantly less dry when I use it consistently, and it's less oily as well. At first, it seemed counterintuitive and almost wrong to put oil on my face when I wanted less oil, but as long as you use a small enough amount and rub it in well, there are no negative effects that I've seen so far. I usually put the palm of my hand tight over the top of the bottle and turn it upside down, then rightside up immediately after, and that is the perfect amount for my face. I apply it and make sure it's all rubbed in, and then I'm done! I'd recommend washing your face with a wet washcloth beforehand, just to make sure you're not trapping gunk, and then applying whatever face stuff you use that usually dries out your skin (I use teatree oil to calm my acne, and it works miracles), waiting for that to dry a bit, and then using the rosehip oil. I bought this a couple weeks ago. I’ve used it about 4 times a week since then. The oil quality itself is nice, especially because I have dry skin and it gives a nice even layer of hydration without feeling super heavy. But I do agree with a lot of these other reviews about the smell. The most accurate smell I can assign it is raw chicken, which is worrying considering this is supposed to be a vegan product. I also have a hard time believing that they tested this on humans and there wasn’t at least one person who pointed out the smell? I will start off by saying the product feels nice; the only reason I gave it a 2 star. I am just so upset at the smell. I was hesitant in purchasing this since many reviews said it was smelly. I thought, ‘oh it couldn’t be that bad’ and I was wrong. Not only does the smell linger on the face, but I had to use a nail scrubber to scrub under and on top of my nails to get the smell out. I have dry (not dehydrated) skin on my nose, it's always flaking and no amount of moisturiser and Vaseline was helping so I needed an oil. After some research… okay after watching some YouTube videos I decided on Borage oil. I read the reviews and didn't think much about the fishy smell that others had mentioned, it'd be fine. When it arrived I couldn't really smell anything, maybe a slight musky or foisty scent but nothing fishy. Did a patch test, of course, and the following evening applied some to my dry nose. Now I was getting a stronger scent…. slightly off fish fingers maybe, or the time we got either pollock or haddock fish fingers instead of cod. It was fine though, it wasn't too strong and I woke up with zero flaky skin on my nose, brilliant. The following evening I applied this again and oh my goodness the fish smell is stronger. You know how sometimes a smell grows on you, well this does the opposite. It's not just slightly off fish fingers now, it's foisty fish. At this point I'm looking at the 30ml of oil I've bought and I'm having regrets but I refuse to waste product. I reapply, I feel slightly nauseous, but I wake up with zero flakes again. It doesn't help that I'm applying this to my nose, in particular around my nostrils, but that's where I get dry. The skincare gods are mocking me. I've been using this for a week now and I'm torn. It's a great oil for dryness, I've used it on my cheeks and it doesn't trigger my rosacea either. But the smell. I call it fish oil. Mixing it in with a moisturiser doesn't help either, it smells just as bad but doesn't work as good. If you have a poor sense of smell, or if you like the smell of fish (does anyone???) you won't have a problem. I can't give this a low rating, it's a really nice light oil and is great for dry skin, but I can't give it 5/5 as I shudder slightly whenever I reach for it and wash my hands thoroughly afterwards.Sarah C

I have dehydrated skin so I bought this oil because I thought it would be great to retain moisture at night. The smell is standard for a rosehip oil so nothing to complain there. Upon application my skin felt great, but after barely 20 minutes the areas beneath my eyes and cheeks felt tight even though there was toner, serum, moisturiser and the oil piled on top. I have always ben a fan of Now Foods oils . For some reason the formulation and oils themselves to me are high quality. I've tried various Almond Oils but always find myself coming back to this one. What I love the most (I bought the 473ML) is that you get excellent value for your money and the oils can be used on hair and body. I also use this oil as a makeup remover when I have make-up on. Love the way the make-up melts away. Also on my body… this oil has made my legs babysoft! I love to rub the oil on my legs everyday and enjoy it as an selfcare moment which is very important especially now during covid! I hope overtime this oil can help to diminish black spots and dark knees but I will give an update on that later since I havent always been very consistent with putting oil on my legs but will do from now on 😊. I've never used a facial oil before, so I was unsure of what to expect but I've been won over! I've applied 2 drops of this after my face washing and toning routine in the morning and it's made my skin look really radiant. I'm not sure if it's correct, but I now use this instead of my moisturiser if I know I've not got much of a long day outside. It drys incredibly fast so it's more of an extra toner instead of an oil, but as someone who can be prone to oily skin, that's ideal. Sometimes I need more than 2 drops because of this though. I have slightly uneven skin as I've worked in the sun for years and maybe genetically as well. I've had good luck with vitamin-c based products from other brands, but they are very expensive products and that's not something that I can maintain. This oil from Botanics is at a great price-point for how well it works. To be clear, this does not claim to contain vitamin-c, but it instead states that it contains natural AHA's. This is also convenient because vitamin-c products can interact with a lot of other facial product ingredients. I found my skin tone to be more even after just a week and am excited to see what long-term use could do. Unlike some AHA's, this is gentle enough to use daily – I have worked it into my morning routine. Don't forget the sun protection if you use this product in the morning (it can make skin light-sensitive). You get a nice "glowy" look as well, which is an added bonus. But, even with the glow and this being an oil, it doesn't exactly feel oily. It is very light. I have combination skin (oily t-zone) and used it sparingly in my problem areas. It worked pretty well to keep my skin hydrated without making it more oily. The smell is also pleasing as I'm a sucker for anything citrusy. I would buy this in the future – I just wish it would take a little less product to cover the whole face and that it was a tad bit stronger. I'm a facial serum and oil junkie ever since realizing they were what worked best with my sensitive combination skin. I've tried many over the years and definitely have my favorites and formulas that I prefer over others. This facial oil is a kind of hybrid of an oil and serum to me. The scent is lovely, the bottle also. Make sure to mix/shake thoroughly before using as the separation is heavy. I've seen other reviews complain that it's watery, I really don't feel that it was watery just maybe a bit thinner. Watery is a hyaluronic acid based serum, this is not that and I had no problems applying from palm to my face. I did need more than 2 drops it calls for, I used 6 and it seemed perfect for my skin. Once spreading on my face it soaked in throughly in about 15 minutes which was perfect for plopping my hair and getting dressed. I had no issues applying CC cream or foundation over and also did a few days with no makeup (lockdown life). While I didn't notice any significant brightening for me, I did really like the moisture it gave me and the softness of my skin. I highly recommend, it's light and keeps me well moisturized.MelleMel

I have tried a lot of face oil including Sisley black rose and La Mer, both of which are 3 times the price of this 50ml for just 30ml. After receiving a 30ml bottle of this as a gift, I was quickly very impressed and realised that actually, price point does not necessarily mean better performance. I saw results with this in terms of softening and clarity when I hadn’t really seen any difference with La Mer or Sisley oils. I will repurchase this again and again.Koala17

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to share this because I found another use for this that has results so far above what I expected from a complete experiment. The oils for hair out there are either heavy or have fragrance, which I'm extremely sensitive too. I had a large bottle of this squalane oil for use on my face and body, but decided, what the heck, why not see how it works. I can't believe it. I have long hair that is dyed, and I want to keep it long. Anyone who has been in that position knows the lower half can start to get dried out …. it's hard to hold onto length as you age. But then I tried this, lightly coating my hands and smoothing over the lower portion, from about to my ears down to the ends on wet, just-shampooed hair, and then a light swipe with my hands with the residual oil on the top to help with flyaways. Then I briefly blow dry to seal the hair cuticle. I don't need the comments of people (but it has been nice) to know the nourished, healthy look my hair now has. With no effect on the color at all. I wanted to pass this along. It is so lightweight and fabulous, I use on my face, arms, hands and legs, and now hair! So happy to find this product that feels clean and nourishing. Thank you!Tracy M.

I had been searching Everywhere for a new moisturizer that was an inexpensive light oil or serum; whose got the $ for trials & damaging errors. Moving from a humid climate to a dry climate wreaked havoc. Both climates I sweat like crazy but after moving, gels & lotions started to sit & feel crusty on my face. Icky! I love this oil! Im almost through my first bottle that ive been using about a month now. I recently learned that I actually have dry skin ( i always thought i was oily/combo because a lot of products didn't absorb well and just sat on my skin). This oil helped my skin regain balance from the abuse of drying products on already dry skin. Wake and bake is the perfect name becuase it has a mild citrus scent. At first glance it seems like its over priced because of the bottle size. After getting familiar with the product i found that 3-5 drops works best for my whole face without having to wipe off any excess. Because the oil is a medium consistancy, similar to an argan oil, it works best for me if i put the oil in my hands the pat it on. I use it at night before bed and after I use a heavy cleansers to keep my skin from getting too dry. After 2 weeks of using this oil i started to see a decrease is breakouts. Its also starting to balance my skin texture and marks as well. I like to mix this oil with my primer as well to smooth out my skin before i apply my makeup. I received this in one of the amazing free gift sets from Ulta. I didn't use it for probably a couple months because I typically have oily skin and was afraid of my face looking like an oil slick. However, I was on chemo and my skin became so dry that I gave it a shot and WOW! It provided amazing hydration then, and two months post chemo it is still doing a great job on my skin as it returns to normal. I mix it with my Clinique moisturizer to apply. That is ALL I use under my Tarte powder foundation, and the results are amazing. I don't need concealer or primer. I was very happily surprised with this product. I originally saw it in a Jackie Aina video when she went over this brand and mentioned that this oil is supposed to be used with the foundation so I bought it. When I first used it the smell was actually very soothing and the texture was soft, not greasy. I use it with the foundation and I was worried about how oily my skin would get but it wasn't more than normal and it was a bit more controlled than normal as well which was great. I eventually used it as a moisturizer once a week and its been a nice mix for my skin routine. I normally use the Dermologica Active Miost for everyday use and the oil is just something new and again the smell is jsut lovely.Rose

I've been using the Haitian Moringa Oil for about 3 months. I love the way the oil makes my skin look and feel. It's not too oily and a little dab does the job. I primarily use it on my face, neck, shoulders, upper chest and cleavage areas (I have a small bottle). My face and skin seem to glow. Because of a bad experience with facial oils in the past and having a sensitive combo skin I was always hesitant to use them, but this year I was determined to (re)introduce them in my skincare routine. I was quite impressed with this Multi-Action Super B Barrier Strengthening Oil from StriVectin. It has a pleasant smell and a lightweight consistency. Usually the oils I would use in the past would sit "on top on my skin" and it would give me that greasy feel, not to mention that my skin would not feel hydrated, It's not the case with this product. I followed the directions on the bottle, and it gave me a different but amazing experience then what I'm accustomed to with other night time facial serums and face creams. Putting a few drops in the palm of your hands and lightly rubbing your hands together, then lightly pat all over your face. Rub in a light circular motion all over your face while you experience the sensational feeling and smell of lavender, geranium, and chamomile while doing so. It feels like your own personal spa experience! Remember to avoid the sensitive eye areas while applying, because if you get this in your eyes, even a little, that will be a whole nother experience and not a pleasant one, unfortunately. Firstly, the smell is absolutely heavenly. I have used Rosehip oils before and the smell is just OK but the addition of lavender makes this such a gorgeous fragrance. I used it as the final step of my night time skincare routine and it feels like such a treat. Also this oil stays put, I've found with other night oils it migrates into my eyes and I wake up with stinging eyes whereas this one is thick enough to stay where you apply it.
