Best Face Oil For Skin Brightening (2023 Update)

MY FAVORITE OIL OF ALL TIMES!!! I don't know how many bottles of it I ve used over the years!!!! I am not counting. Originally, I was squeaking every time I had to buy a new bottle, more than a hundred bucks for a bottle!!! Come on, but what a difference it made, I was babying the oil and then buying yet another another and another one of it. I started a Sunday Riley cult among my friends, worshipping – Juno, Good Genes, Luna, and etc. Solid brand, solid products, cannot find real substitute. Since that times Juno got a lower price level, so at $72 it is still an everyday regular night routine must, I am trying other brands/products, but ultimately go back to my Juno every single time. Try it, if you have skin ! Especially for the night routine. It is a multistage oil that gives you hydration and glow. Some people don't like the smell, but who cares when it is a miracle worker!! This is my second time purchasing Juno Face oil from the Q. It's now my favorite face oil. This oil is very hydrating, and living in the southwest in dry conditions and with winter heat, I need the most hydrating products out there. This delivers and it feels so good on the skin. It's a bit thicker than most face oils I've tried, and it's not greasy at all. I typically apply it at night, and this really sinks into the skin. I can see and feel how soft my skin is the next morning. It's nice to apply during the day too for a boost of moisture. And, if you get the gift with purchase, it's is so worth it. The Fairy Godmother body oil that is the offer right now, is a full size body oil, with a slight shimmer, yet not glittery at all. It's also very hydrating, so for these two products this is definitely a great buy! If dryness is an issue for you and you want hydrated skin, I recommend giving this one a try!thebirdwatcher

As far aesthetics; this is an oil. In my opinion facial oils are facial oils and all feel quite similar on the skin. Sure, some might be thinner and seem more lightweight, but in general oils have a similar aesthetic and feel on the skin. I used to be quite generous with oils for their supposed antioxidant properties until I learned that seed oils are considered to be quite concentrated- so you truly do not need a lot of product on the face to reap the benefits. Seriously, you only need 2 maybe 3 drops max for the entire face. Plus, this will have a better aesthetic and feel on the skin. I must admit I am not the biggest fan of Sunday Riley's products in general. I find them to be full of fragrance and very expensive. This product is the definite exception since it is one of, if not the only S.R. product in their lineup. I also REALLY like the oils chosen in this formulation; this is chock FULL of berry seed oils which are naturally high in linoleic acid (the barrier repairing fatty acid), polyphenols, vitamin E, and beta carotene. I wanted to use this for a couple weeks before writing a review. I am obsessed with oils, but unfortunately a lot of them lead to breakouts on me except for a select few if I only use them at night after the rest of my skincare. This one intrigued me because it is mostly cold pressed seed oils which are molecularly smaller and easier to absorb. I apply 2 drops over my moisturizer (ole henriksen strength trainer) in the morning and my makeup applies beautifully over it. I apply 3 drops at night over the same moisturizer and my skin loves this stuff. It absorbs more than any oil I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t absorb entirely, there’s still a bit that stays dewy and glowy, but not a complete oil slick like others that just sit on top and never soak in. It had made my skin SO soft and smooth and cleared any active breakouts. My skin was breaking out a bit when I first started using it, but my period was coming and was the real culprit. Because after my period, my skin cleared right up and I’ve been using this oil consistently day and night all the way through. I think I’ve finally found the right oil blend for my skin. I have dry skin with occasional hormonal breakouts. I’ve tried Sunday Riley (Luna, Juno, CEO), Fresh, Josie Maran, Clarins, dermalogica, korres, etc. If there’s a face oil in the line, I’ve used it! This one takes the cake. I’ve been wanting to try the True Botanicals Renew radiance oil, but this one is more than half the cost and works phenomenally. So give it a try! Fantastic added moisture in the winter! I add a couple of drops to my face right before I rub my moisturizer on. My skin feels particularly velvety and hydrated, giving my moisturizer that little extra kick when its super dry out. I haven't noticed any kind of break outs or reaction to this product, and I have a tendency to have pretty sensitive skin around my chin and cheeks. I'm interested to see if this is still the case in the warmer months. There is a kind of earthy oil smell when first applying but it goes away near immediately once it has soaked in. I don't find it unpleasant even when I do smell it. Pretty stoked to keep using this product, my skin so far seems to love it.Spookytama

I received a sample of a face oil from a different line and, while it did turn me on to oils, I thought I could find something better. This oil does an amazing job of locking in hydrating, subtly primping, and adding a dewy glow. My skin can be acne prone at times, but I haven’t had any blemishes due to this product. Compared to DE’s oil, the Summer Friday oil has a thicker consistency, but I feel it absorbs better than the thinner DE product. Compared to Saint Jane’s face oil, this SF oil doesn’t seem to calm and even skin tone quite as well, but the texture, hydration, plumping, not to mention the price tag, makes this a clear winner between the two. As the last step in my nighttime routine, I warm a few drops of oil and press it into my skin. WOW, that is the first word that comes to mind. I can say I have tried almost every popular clean beauty oil in the industry and none have impressed me as much as this oil. I apply this after my Chebula serum and talk about bio-compatible just like they claim it absorbs almost instantly into my skin. The texture is lightweight and non-greasy and again like nothing I’ve every experienced before. I now see why this is a bestseller. The natural scent is also very pleasing and not overpowering at all. This will continue to be a regular in my rotation from here on out. I was so surprised by this oil. I normally stray away from oils because my skin type is oily and I struggle with that throughout the day. But, this product is wonderful! It does not leave any oiliness whatsoever on the skin and the product just sinks in and leaves a beautiful glow. I have to leave an honest review of this product as I feel some people would probably benefit from knowing what I know now, and unfortunately learned the hard way. Upon initial use, I thought it seemed really nice, and I probably would have recommended it. I honestly knew very little about green beauty at the time, nor did I know just how many sensitizing oils this product contains, and how even if things seem like they’re going okay for a while, eventually this product could really harm your skin. After using this product for about a month, with no adverse effects, my skin changed within a matter of days. It started stinging and burning constantly, became tight, dry, irritated, and exceptionally painful. I immediately discontinued the product. I now recognize that some of the oils in this product (specifically fir needle oil, pine needle oil, and jasmine oil) are well documented skin sensitizers, which can cause allergic contact dermatitis over time. I truly hate to say this but it’s been two years, and my skin is still not even close to normal. I have seen dermatologists and tried many gentle, replenishing routines to help fix my skin barrier, but I still experience constant tightness, dryness, and occasional stinging, as my skin is constantly inflamed. Prior to using this product, I had really easy, excellent skin for all of my life, and I have no other skin issues at all, nor have I ever had any issues with any other product I’ve tried. This product absolutely changed my skin for the worse, and I strongly advise against using this product.Cait

I have used this product for years and I still love it! It has a beautiful scent that is not overpowering and is relaxing due to its aroma therapy properties. It moisturizers and keeps my skin hydrated and looking healthy. Works for fine lines and wrinkles I always get compliments on my skin and that I look younger than I am. I actually meant to buy another product and got confused as the two are so similar. While this product wasn't what I had originally wanted, I have to say I'm not disappointed. It definately hydrates my skin, and provides a nice glow, and though it is a bit oily it still sits well under make up. I'm not a huge fan of the smell, (it's got that hippy sort of smell) but it's not strong enough to turn me of using it. All in all I'm happy with the oil, it does what it says on the box and my skin looks and feels radiant and hydrated.Kym18

It's really strange smelling oil to apply everyday. Few 1-2 drops enough for entire face skin. I am not sure, how I will finish this oil. I wish Clarins sell much smaller quantity with cheaper price to start with. They say 30 days money back guarantee, but that is not true. Small print says they don't return if product has opened. This face oil is very versatile and nourishing: a few drops makes my exfoliant go much farther, and it makes my skin shiny and smooth. I have very sensitive skin and it is impossible to find natural ingredients anywhere. This face oil is non-greasy unlike many I've experienced, and is a nice refresher for my face when I start feeling tired in the afternoon and need a fresh look on my skin. Not to sound too overdramatic the ÉCLAT MIDY is truly sanctified. I have always had clear skin but with age comes more issues and my skin for the first time since I was a teenager was spotty with blemishes and dark spots. I'm a "serum" and "Oil" enthusiast. I’m very reserved about great ratings, unless its warranted. That said, upon first application I was impressed. This is the first product I tried from this line, and I was amazed at the results. I honestly wish I had taken before and after pics. My skin is so much smoother, my fine and deep lines have reduced significantly. I have one deep crease in-between my eyebrows closer to my right eyebrow that I hate, and some finer forehead lines, and ever since I’ve been using this I can’t believe how much smoother that deep crease is, I barely notice it anymore. I’ve gone through three bottles of this already and I’m obsessed! It’s a bit pricey, but it works wonders on my dry, sensitive blemish-prone skin so I’m willing to splurge. I notice it hydrates my skin and melts in beautifully, so I don’t look oily, just dewy. The light rose scent is beautiful and not too overpowering or synthetic smelling. Anyone wanting to add Vitamin C to their routine should for sure try this in the mini or full size, because it’s helped me with texture and evened out my skin tone. So far Biossance products like this one and their Omega Cream have made a noticeable difference in my skin enough that I’m willing to rave about this oil! I really love this and keep a tiny travel bottle in my purse and the large bottle in my bathroom. I use very little (I’ve been using for 6+ months and still have about half the product), and find that if I stop using it my combo skin starts to look dull and shows dry patches. I will typically use 2-3 drops for my face and apply by patting it on my skin with my fingers (it works much better than trying to spread it around, because my skin soaks it up and it will otherwise be too much moisture for daytime). It makes my late 30s skin feel like a baby’s cheek, plumps my skin, feels like it really ‘seals’ my skin barrier while feeling totally weightless in a good way, and seems to speed healing of any breakouts. It has a light rose scent that doesn’t last, and smells like the natural smell of the rose ingredient and not an added fragrance. For daytime I will tap 2-3 drops into my face over a serum or sometimes a light moisturizer (though I don’t typically use a moisturizer under this during the day) before applying a sunscreen and/or tinted moisturizer with SPF. At night I will apply it over a heavier moisturizer or something like retinol serum. One of the reasons I carry the tiny bottle with me is that it’s a fantastic multitasker, I will tap it on a dry patch of skin or put a drop or two on the ends of my hair if they’re feeling dry (I’ve even used it as a heat protectant for blow drying my hair during travel). It makes my 70+ mom’s skin plump and glowy. My boyfriend has eczema and this transforms his skin and makes it glow (if only I could get him to adhere to a daily routine). I was camping with friends in high desert mountains and everyone was getting a bit dry, so I whipped out my travel bottle and everyone (Caucasian, Black, and Hispanic friends all with different skin types) tried a few drops and was blown away by how it immediately moisturized their skin and made it glow. This oil is just beautiful. I use it in conjunction with the marine cream, either first on dry skin then the cream on top or on top of the cream once it has sunk in & they work really well together. I use it on top of the cream if I want more of a glow for day time but I believe on dry skin you’ll get the most benefit as your skin really drinks it in. The smell is so nice, think fresh cucumbers. As there is fragrance, if you’re sensitive I suppose there is potential for irritation but I have fairly sensitive skin and none of the Elemis products irritate me at all, I believe because it’s all natural. If you have extra sensitive skin it may be worth doing a patch test on any of their products. A little goes a long way with this oil, it leaves you super glowy! I do use slightly more than the recommended drops though as I like to use it down my neck and onto my chest & 3-4 isn’t quite enough for me I’d say more like 6, 3-4 is plenty for just the face though. It isn’t super oily/greasy, it’s more of a dry oil texture but this doesn’t take away from its hydration at all, I like the fact you can actually feel & see your skin drinking it, it doesn’t sit on top of the skin like a film. So if you’re looking for that sort of thing this may not be for you. It’s more an oil you have to pat in rather than use like a moisturiser in my opinion. I close my eyes and pat it on them too & it doesn’t irritate them at all. This tends to last me ages even when I use it morning and night but you can use it sparingly, maybe just once a day & you’ll still see the benefits for sure! This is great to take out with you as well if you’re out & want a quick boost of moisture or glow, I would say it’s light enough to use over makeup if you’re looking a bit cakey or dry. I use this with a jade roller & notice this really gives it a boost as it helps the skin drink it in so if you’re looking for a night time routine it’s a good add in to wake up looking refreshed & glowy. Great for winter when your skin’s a bit drier. I have acne prone skin and this does not clog up pores at all. In fact, this has helped a lot with keeping my skin clear. I expected this to be gentle because normally when I think superfood I think organic ingredients, fruit oils and antioxidants. I also expected it to be more special than it really is. Honestly its kind of just another clay mask if you ask me. Dont get me wrong I love a good clay mask. I was just looking for something that wouldnt dry me out and would plump and soften my skin. So I wasnt expecting a clay mask when I purchased this. It does work well, as a clay mask. But for the price Ive definitely tried better. Sorry elemis, Iove your products and i dont mind paying a higher price if its a product i truly love. Just didnt impress me or wow me very much. Very fragranced as well. After moving to a dessert climate I was desperate to nourish my skin. My skin was completely dehydrated due to the hot outside-climate and the lack of humidity inside my house created by the air conditioning. Being familiar with Elemis I purchased this oil hoping to upgrade the skin on my face and hands. It comes in a glass bottle and has a grassy-earthy smell which I completely love. For me is a direct reminder of the oil's ingredients. However, if you're looking for a subtle scent or one that would faint fast I believe this is not for you. I didn't achieve the results I wanted neither or my face nor in my hands. Nevertheless, I understand that it was not due to a lack of performance of the oil, it was just that I didn't apply it the right way. I over-applied it and as a result the product couldn't get fully absorbed into my skin. I used the whole bottle and it improved my skin: it became a little bit brighter, less inflamed and softer. However, if I would have been patient enough and apply only what's suggested the oil would have penetrated better. I would have avoided the embarrassing "oily face look" and the nourishing effects would have been amplified. I believe that it would have been beneficial (my skin was flaky) to do an exfoliation process prior to adding the Superfood Oil to my regime. My skin would have been cleared of at the outer-dry layer and absorption would have been easier. I'm planning to buy it again and use it sparingly. I recommend it to anyone; just don't apply a lot hoping to get faster results and prepare your skin to get the most benefits.BioRodriguez

I have hormonal acne that flares up around my chin and nose if I eat something my body is sensitive to, like dairy or some grains. I've tried every cleanser, spot cream, mask, etc. and none seem to have had the same impact as this oil. I saw results very early on after using this consistently, morning and night on clean skin. It's not only reducing my flareups, it seems to be erasing some of my very long-term acne scars that I no longer have to cover up with concealer. In fact, I haven't worn any make-up since I started using this – that's how good it makes me feel about my skin. Also, I quite enjoy the scent. I like the herby botanical scent but it might be too earthy for some people's liking. My skin brightens up a bit when I apply it which feels like a good indication that something is working. I really wanted to like this product! I love the idea of True Botanicals being non-toxic and good for the environment. Olivia Wilde and I seem to have similar skin types, so I switched over from my Skinsceuticals regime to their Clear system. I was excited by the before and after photos and the effect this could have on my post-acne dark spots. I used to have serious acne, but then I did accurate and for the past two years, I’ve had clear skin, with post-acne marks. After the first week of trying the system, my skin started breaking out and I figured this was the 4-6 week purging/adjustment period. Now, it’s been 6 weeks and it’s still breaking out. Since I t’s past their return period, I’m stuck with an almost $200 collection of products that simply don’t work on my skin. I’ll spend the holidays under a thick layer of makeup hoping I don’t have to go on accutane again. There's a reason why Sunday Riley is in my top three favorite brands. Literally everything I have tried from this brand just works for my skin. I'm also impatient and such a fan of instant gratification and in my opinion that is what they deliver. Using their products my skin looks instantly hydrated, plump, glowing and even toned. This serum has a light lotion feel. If you have normal skin like myself it can be hydrating enough on its own. If not it layers well with other products. It absorbs into the skin like a dream and leaves it feeling smooth to the touch. It does have a light citrus scent that doesn't linger after application. Containing 15% stabilized vitamin c it helps protect against the elements and also helps to firm, brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also have fade dark spots. Other top ingredients are Phytosterols Complex which helps to calm the skin and reduce redness and skin sensitivity.Saccharide Isomerate Extract which helps strengthen and maintain the skin barrier as well as reduce the appearance of pores and glycolic acid which can help gently exfoliate the skin as well as help with breakouts. Although Sunday Riley can be a little pricey it's worth it in my opinion because it literally leaves my skin looking like perfection.cheyenne.m

My skin has changed a lot throughout the past years. I personally as of now struggle with comedones. I was acne prone as a teenager and have gained clear skin through birth control as well as spironolactone. Still looking for something to get rid of these comedones. Using this was very good for comedones considering it dries out those follicles that way the excess oil and sebum will be prevented from clogging a pore. However, if you struggle with dry skin do not use this. Unless you are applying pure aloe vera and coconut oil on your face 3 times a day this is not the product for you. My nose started peeling and flaking after 2 days of using it. I only applied it once each 2 nights. So I started using the JUNO face oil each night and the U.F.O. some mornings, which definitely worked in my favor. I used to struggle with oily skin but with the spironolactone it has definitely taken away those oils. If you also use another acne treatment definitely do not do this because that can cause irritation and a reaction. If you struggle with pores, acne, and have oily skin then i definitely recommend this product. Definitely not good for normal or sensitive skin either.koszmar

This was my first product from Sunday Riley. It was recommended to me by the Real Skincare Discussion. I started to get more acne and breakouts as I got older, but I was put on prescription creams for them. I believe this is why my skin disliked this serum. I started very slowly with a small patch test, and when I worked up to my whole face, I broke out everywhere. Although I used the prescription cream and this serum at opposite times of the day, I think it was simply too much for my skin. Either that or my face cannot tolerate one or more of the ingredients. However, I have found that if I use it on body acne as a light spot treatment, it does help with size and redness. I have been using the serum on my boyfriend’s face instead (always putting it in my clean hands first) and any breakouts, clogged pores and blackheads have noticeably improved with this. He gets compliments on his skin all the time, but I don’t get any of the credit for introducing him to this or any type of skincare routine at all lol. I used to struggle with patches of dry skin that would look horrible and even worse under makeup! I flew to the nearest [brand:deciem] store, a province to the west, quite a trip for skincare, but if you know [brand:deciem], you know the obsession! I was told about this amino acid, they explained that it would be perfect for someone with the issues I have. I tried it with the 'B' oil, amino acid first step, then 'B' oil, second step. Then finish with whatever product is suitable for your skincare needs. My skin has never been the same again, it's clearer, smooth, and no more rough or dry peeling skin. I bought this about a month ago on a whim upon reading some reviews. I personally love unusual, herbal, earthy smells – it definitely has a green fish-oil scent and I adore it. I was dealing with hyperpigmentation, dehydration, dryness and breakouts due to dry winter air in my apartment. All that changed about my routine initially was the addition of this oil. Within a few days my skin was soft again. Within a week the breakouts subsided. My hyperpigmentation has started to dramatically clear up — I do want to note that I think that has more to do with my moisture barrier than with any brightening properties of the oil. I’ve started mixing this with my favourite rosehip oil, the Pai Skincare Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil (sorry TO, but it’s the best on the market) and my skin hasn’t looked this good in a very long time. I highly recommend giving this a try if your moisture barrier is damaged. I did not expect this to do much at all and now I don’t think I will ever be without it.Fig

I’ve used this a few times now and although I really love how it feels and works I just don’t know that I can deal with the fishy sea smell. I understand that everyone likes different smells and has slightly different sense of smell but to me it does smell a fishy so just be aware that it could smell that way for you as well. I’m wondering if I can add some frankincense or lavender essential oil and make the smell less prominent because I really love the feel and the effects. Just don’t love the smell. This is a nice facial oil for acne prone skin. The scent isn’t overpowering, even with the tea tree oil. I can’t say for sure that this helped clear up my acne, but it does add some nice hydration in addition to acne fighting properties. My skin was super dry and flaky from all of the spot treatments, so I liked that I could use this in the AM and PM to help reduce the dryness and redness.Jen

Why did I ever take a break from this? The scent is intoxicating and doesn’t irritate. (I’ve become fragrance-sensitive recently—can get headaches easily—but this is a pure delight.) I didn’t really into facial oils when it comes to treat my skin because I think my skin is oily, but I’ve been struggling with broken skin barrier for past few months. I give this a try because I love their blue tansy mask and it really does something to my skin.I don’t use this every night in my routine, but I find myself using this when my redness appears and my skin feels super bumpy and textured. I ever used this when I want to use make up on party night, but my face is super red and bumpy. I used their blue tansy mask, leave it for 5-10 mins, then use this 3 hours before I did my night make up. The bumpy texture magically disappear and my make up application feels so much better.Btw I do think purchasing 50ml is not a good idea because the mold starts to appear on the bottom of the bottle, while mine is still almost full. Love this! Bought it on a whim after eyeing it for a while. I actually have dry skin, especially in the winter, but suffer with milia and dark spots that made me interested in this oil. The first thing I noticed was the smell – the only way I can describe it is that it smells rich. It smells like luxury. Like, "Oh, she's got MONEY money," rich. Putting this oil on, I felt like I was a millionaire influencer doing my nighttime skincare routine for Harper's Bazaar. It's faaaancy, y'all. I love the feel and finish of this oil, too. It's less thick/viscous than I expected it to be, but it doesn't skimp on hydration, so you feel deeply moisturized and plump upon applying it. It sinks into the skin quickly, but does leave that faint layer of surface moisture, so it's probably best for a pre-bed routine rather than before makeup. That's my preference, so it's perfect for me, but YMMV! I noticed an almost immediate reduction in the look of my pores and my surface redness. This feels like a true self care moment in the sense that it is luxurious and feels a little indulgent, but it also does what it promises. Can't wait to upgrade to the bigger size!AlyssaDeeZee

I’ve repurchased this oil multiple times. If you are someone who enjoys facial oils this is a MUST for your skincare routine. I personally like to use this during the day or night. If i wear this at night i like to use it with a thicker moisturizer. I typically apply my oils as a first step. Just works better for me even though i know they say to apply it last. Lightweight, great for acne prone skin, really CALMS my skin down. Doesnt clog pores if you’re worried about that. The scent is natural & lovely not to be mistaken for fragranced. It’s good for transitioning between seasons aswell from winter to spring. Overall its one of those oils thats a go to for lightweightedness. Its pricey but you wont regret it. It does what it states on the box “hydrate and illuminate your skin. It contains vitamin E oil in all palmer’s products. Unlike, the skin therapy oil lack of absorption into my skin (personally) I wish it had the same hydration effect as the hydration oil. There isn’t a harsh / sweet scent for persons like me who gets nauseous from scents. The scent is minimal. Would I purchase this again yes and no: Benefits: minimal scent, vitamin e oil, hydration No: I haven’t seen make improvements in terms of dark marks on the skin, there isn’t anything extraordinary about the product. I love the coconut oil formula by Palmer's so I decided to give this product a go I do have oily skin in general so I was a bit hesitant to use this product because it is an oil are generally uses product at night-time and even when I do use this product it gives you such a healthy looking radiant glow and it really does hydrate your skin. The one thing I have noticed that my skin is not so oily in general now since using this product which I'm not going to complain about out because it's horrible when you're doing a full face of makeup and then it just turns into an oily mess but with this it will be a lifesaver to anyone 1hu has oily skin they will definitely notice a difference. Before trying this product, I was already a coconut oil fan, using store bought jars to put on my face at night. As you can imagine, this was fairly inconvenient and messy. But I find that coconut oil reduces my redness and helps balance out the moisture on my delicate and sensitive facial skin. So I leapt at the opportunity to try coconut oil specifically formulated for my face and without any nasty ingredients (I appreciated all of the “no…added” on the front of the package, no dyes, no parabens, etc). Not only is it lacking the ingredients you don’t want, it uses ethically and sustainably sourced oils and has plenty of good stuff in addition to the coconut, including Tahitian monoi oil. It is easy to put on with the included dropper and you don’t need much to cover your face. It absorbs quickly and makes your face feel fresh and dewy (and it smells divine, not artificial). My skin definitely feels softer and “well-fed” when I wake up in the morning after having put it on the night before. I have been using virgin coconut oil to cleanse and moisturize my face for years now. The only issue I've had is that my skin gets used to it and after a while I feel I am not absorbing it completely…. oh also it's also a bit heavy during the summer as a moisturizer. I am enjoying a softness and youthfulness in my skin that I haven't had in several years. Also, it's nice and light to use now in the summer as my moisturizer. As my hormones have fluctuated, I've seen pigmentation in my skin become uneven in spots. I really love this dark spot corrector for several reasons. A little bit goes a long way. It has a lovely fragrance. It has a really nice feel and isn’t greasy at all. Sometimes when I wear a product in addition to a moisturizer, I wind up feeling that there’s a lot of stuff on my face, but this product is not like that. Ok, so aside from BOG and AYB serum, this is my favorite product, Truly! I got this in the VIP 2.0 Bundle and it's been a game changer. It makes my face feel so luxurious and soft. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this because I liked the product description and it was exactly what I was looking for in a face serum. The reviews are all over the place so I just took a chance and decided to purchase anyway. I don’t smell anything like other people are describing, I don’t really smell much when I open the bottle. I think the bottle itself and the dropper are really nice and have a quality feel and look to it and easy to use. I personally really like this face oil and combine it with the truly collagen booster. These aren’t miracle products and make wrinkles and fine lines disappear or anything but I will say they make my skin feel nice and I do notice a visible difference in fine lines combined with using cerave resurfacing retinol serum, it’s a perfect combo for me and I will continue to buy this serum!Jen1838
