My favorite setting powder of all time! It’s literally the only powder that works for me. I have extremely oily skin and am always shiny, it’s very frustrating. But I’ve found that this product keeps the oil at bay for hours. After some time I do get a little shine near my nose (that’s a given) but a little touch up makes it all better. I love this product so much that I bought the travel sized version. However, I really wish they brought back the pressed/compact setting finishing powder. I hope ya’ll bring it back for on the go!Briannarose

I bought this after reading all the amazing reviews and I still believe all those reviews but unfortunately for me, personally, this powder just doesn't do what I want it to. It won't blend at all and leaves my face looking cakey. Maybe it's my combination skin because it gets cakey only in my tzone area but it's super obvious. You can also clearly see white powder on my face and trust me, I am pale as a ghost. If anyone else is experiencing the same thing I experienced, you might want to try Stay Naked the Fix by Urban Decay. Yes, it's a pressed powder and no, it's not translucent but I bought the fairest shade and that one ended up doing exactly what I needed. It's a bit more expensive but worth it. I absolutely love Dermablend Professional’s Illuminating Banana loose setting powder! It has a slight yellow/tan tint that is used to brighten your complexion while locking in your make up. The powder contains pigmented pearls create a soft sheen that provide a beautiful soft sheen that never leaves your face looking ashy or flat. This powder enhances the wearability of your foundation to provide up to 16 hours of smudge resistant make up. It is dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist approved, allergy free, fragrance free and tested for sensitive skin. It comes in a sturdy container with plenty of powder and an application cushion. I typically use the transparent form of setting powder but do tend to get a bit of a tan in the warmer months. At this time of year, I always change to a darker shade of foundation, setting powder and face bronzers. I enjoy this product just as much as the original loose setting powder. I love how it gives me that summertime glow without adding actual colour to my face. It mattifies my face and helps to control excess shine and oiliness. This powder does transfer a little bit to my mask after a long period of warm and sweaty wear. I do use a lot of buildable foundation so I do feel that this is would be inevitable. I really do love this entire product line and that includes this Illuminating Banana loose setting powder. Im a professional make-up artist trialing powders, although it says its a setting power it is not, do not set your make-up with this. The negative reveiws are because you are not using it correctly. The powder needs to be applied where you have texture or lies it smooths them. Why it 'feels weird' it has silicon in it that blurs, same as the 'bluring primer' has silcon in it as well. You dont need alot, small fluffy brush lightly under the eyes around the nose and a larger brush to gently brush over the rest of the face. Baking this product will leave it patchy and sit in clumps on the face. This product has miniumal flash back if used correctly and lightly, unlike the nyx one. Worth the money! I have used this HD Powder in Translucent for many years and I have gone through countless amounts of them! My skin-type is sensitive, prone to breakouts, and oily (lucky me) lol. So with that information I will say this product has not caused any issues for me in all my time using it. The powder works great in all fashions – just over primer, over pressed powder, to bake under eyes, and as a finishing powder. What I use it mostly for is to brighten my under eyes and as a spot powder. It really helps keep my oils at bay but I will say it isn't forever matte. However, touch ups are super easy and literally absorbs any oils. I will always have this in my makeup bag and literally swear by it. I will say that it does have flashback and can look flat. Less is more with this product and I really love it. I apply it with a setting brush (long-lasting) or a beauty blender if I want to concentrate the product and get full coverage (not long-lasting & can look flat). All this goes to say, figure out how this product works for you and your needs. The packaging it nice too, I use the lid to lightly tap the product onto and any excess I just tap back into the container. I try to remember to clean the inside of the lid every once in awhile so there isn't germs lurking. One time I did make the mistake of taking the plastic piece out of the container so I could get more product at a time… what a mess that was! Like I said above, less is more anyways! I like it !! This is a great product to set your make up with, the powder is super smooth and feels great on the skin. Keeps me matte for long time. I use it every day when I go to work. It makes my skin and makeup look flawless with a blurring affect. This is definitely holy grail of powders. It went on easily and smooth. When I use it to set my concealer it prevents the concealer from creasing without altering the shade. I have a combination skin and my t-zone need to be set with powder to avoid shine. When I use it over a foundation, it matifies instantly without altering the foundation color. Most of the days, I just use a concealer and use this powder all over moisurized face. For this purpose I like to use the sponge over a powder brush. I take some powder on the sponge, tap of the excess and roll it on to the skin, and then follow it up with blush and lip product. That way my face stays matte and fresh for long time. It looks very natural on skin, not too dry or too shiny. Texture feels nice, didn’t dry out my skin and also didn’t make me look cakey . I have used this powder for decades. It was pricy when I first started using it and is pricy now but it has consistently performed for me and the product is of good quality, so I justified using it. However, I was dismayed to see, as previous reviewers have mentioned, that although the price has remained high (and let's be honest, has leapt up in pounds increments over the last 5 years) Clinique has sneakily reduced the amount for the same price by over 25%! If you had been upfront and brought this to consumers attention, then that would have been the honest way to deal with your customers. It sounds to me that Clinique that been hiring marketeers from companies such as the chocolate manufacturers – just put the price up but reduced the amount, they'll never notice, consumers are stupid. We're not and by doing this you are damaging not only Clinque's reputation but also that trust between you and your loyal consumers. We are fed up of being treated in such an underhand way. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I have been using this product for years, and I love it. It was really hard to get for a couple months and I contacted customer support to see if it was being discontinued. I was told they were re-packaging the product. I just received a new jar and the product looked the same. I couldn't tell what the "repackaging" was so I flipped it over to see how much the jar contains. The new packaging contains 25g, whereas the old packaging contains 35g. I adore this powers,i use it either with superbalanced foundation in Alabastor or on its own. The little brush is fine for touch up's but not on large areas of the face. Please clinique can you provide a powder puff with a little ribbon to put 2 fingers through or have a option to buy a powder puff. I do own the powder brush but must admit i am old school where there is something about using a powder puff makes me feel special while putting on my makeup. please bring in a powder puff for you wonderful loose powder which i use in transparency neautral. Can you also bring back you wonderful green compact cases for your pressed powders like almost powder makeup which i also like to use,the mirror cases is not the same. I can't believe how amazing this product is. I LOVE how it makes my skin look and how fast and easy it is to apply. It stays on all day and I live in Florida, so it's always hot and humid. I have never used the powder foundations because it always made me look so cakey and patchy. This foundation is amazing stays in place all day and it looks so natural, just beautiful. Hello, I have been using the Duel Finish powder for over 40 years now. The color I’m using now is Buff ll Cool. I simply love this product! Duel Finish does what it says! You can simply where it just as a light touch up for a casual day or if your wanting something more dramatic use it as a foundation with the soft white sponge that comes with it. Then it wears all day long. My skin/face never looked good and felt so soft and as it did before. I love how it doesn’t cake or crease into my fine lines too. I have used this product for a couple of years now. While it is not as heavy coverage as other foundations out there, it works for my every day needs. I usually apply primer, concealer, and then this product. With my oily skin, I have noticed that without primer the powder melts off. But it is natural looking, and it is comfortable on my face. Most foundations irritate my skin and I break out even worse. Unfortunately, I am in my 30s and I'm getting wrinkles too. So it's not easy to find a perfect foundation. As I get older I wonder how this powder will look on me but for now it is just fine. As long as I apply this properly, it looks natural for my day to day life. I use a Clinique liquid foundation for any special occasions. But let's be real: as a mom there's no point to be ridiculously dolled up, I just want to not have a red face and oily skin. I went into the store to try to find a replacement for a powder foundation I used but that has been unavailable for months. The lady looked at my face, my jaw, and my arm to find the shade that would go with my pink undertones and light-ish skin. The shade she recommended is PERFECT! Not too light like most of them I've tried. And the makeup goes on with enough coverage using a makeup brush that it covers skin discolorations with no need to use the included sponge for "extra coverage." Though the sponge does help to get to some annoying spots if necessary. I'm going to grab a few more of these befoe they run out!Cheryl

I’m in early forties and I always come back to this. I have been using it for years. I have combo skin, more on the oily side and this powder works great as an easy everyday foundation. It stays on well and last all day. I’ve been using it for years and I like that it does not settle into my lines and makes my pores look better. This foundation is just okay. It has a natural finish with a very liquidy-runny formula. There’s many shades and undertones to choose from so that’s a plus. Coverage is decent, it covers my redness fairly well. I like to use it to mix in with other foundations but on it’s own I find it doesn’t wear too long, and kind of has a greasy finish if you don’t set with powder. Mixed with the maybelline super stay foundation or a more thick foundation in general this works well but on it’s own it’s not the best. I wouldn’t recommend if you have oily skin. I have normal to dry skin. The foundation also separates in the bottle and all the oil or whatever it is sets at the top and it looks really gross, you can just shake it up to fix it but idk this foundation isn’t bad, but it’s definitely not my favorite..libby.h

This foundation was the first foundation I've ever tried and after using an few other drugstore foundations, I can state that this one has been the best drugstore foundation I've used. However, the color match was initially tricky as at first I used C7 as Beyonce was the brand ambassador at the time and it was stated she wore that color 😄 I don't have cool undertones and I don't think Beyonce does either? But, at this time I wasn't aware of undertones so I've come from. The color was also darker on me and was not a true match. So, then I tried N7 which Zoe Saldana was the ambassador as well and she's definitely an neutral undertone, so I said what the hey? 🤔 this shade worked much better for me, but I'm not an true neutral undertone however I made that shade work. I started using foundation back in 2000, when I had just started my freshman year of high school. I unfortunately was one of those teenagers who had to start the constant battle of ACNE PRONE SKIN and I was tired of tormenting myself with extensive expensive products routines. It's now 2020 and I'm still using the exact same foundation color *NUDE 40* I still see a noticeable difference in my skin after I apply it as part of my Everyday Beauty Routine. This product is great for people who do not like liquid foundation. It is very light on skin, so you can apply as little or as much as needed. I recently had a reaction from a medical issue that cause my face to be super red. The product helped a lot but I noticed it caused a purple tint. I do have a bit of rosacea due to lack of protection from sun in my younger years. Overall I think this is a great product for the days I have flare up or when I feel like I need to even out the tone of skin on my face. Well first of all, the powder is not completely translucent, it has a peach undertone but that didn't bother me. The sifter will pour out way too much powder but I have found that adding a piece of tape and only letting open a couple of holes helps. It is a decent powder that will set your makeup, but it won't stop your makeup from creasing or showing fine lines as the company advertises. What I truly dislike is the heavy fragrance that will give you a headache and mess with the rest of your face makeup. For example, after setting my makeup with it, my face makeup will smell like the powder so the scent lingers and that is not good if you are going to use this around eyes for setting concealer or eye primer. I got loose face powder cause I read good reviews. And I wanted an alternative for everyday look instead of my Laura Mercier translucent powder. I've used it twice so far and the scent is Too strong for my preference. But this powder is extremely refined. If u press or rub it between two fingers you would barely feel the texture which is a great thing. That makes it almost undetectable and less settling into creases and fine lines. I've used it on my dewy liquid foundations. ( Maybelline dewy Smooth+ Revolution Super dewy skin tint) without any setting spray. I lasted 3-4 hours without any touch-ups. This is my favorite face powder of all time! The ONLY reason I could not give it 5 stars is because of the packaging! I remember seeing negative reviews about the packaging of this product before purchasing it and thinking, “Oh, it can’t be that bad,” but it is. It takes minutes to shake enough powder out to cover half of your face with a dusting. However – the product itself is SO good that I will shake it for minutes gladly to achieve the glow-from-within look this powder helps me achieve. I struggled to find a powder for YEARS because I do not like to look matte but I am oily, so I need a powder that holds up. This one is perfection. This is just a beautiful product. I can't go without it. I like a natural finish, and having mature, dry skin, I use NARS tinted moisturiser with this over the top to get a flawless but natural finish. This is luminous, it gives you a lovely natural glow, its not heavy, never caked, but it always leaves a great, long wearing finish (I don't do bake or heavy setting though). My only criticism would be that, it is luminous, so it will highlight under eye bags, and the pesky wrinkles you might want to hide, and so I use this all over, but then cover eye bags and wrinkles with the By Terry Hyaluronic Powder, which is matte, and covers the bits I don't want to go. With both, I have an incredibly good team, and I will not be changing them out for anything. Tried and tested great!SusieV

This is hands down my favourite setting powder, (& I've tried a fair few). It is good on my oily skin, soaking up oils & keeping me matte but not dry like a desert. It doesn't cling to Peach fuzz and doesn't crease/cake my under eye area when I set after concealer. I used this over liquid foundation & concealer. It is hands down an amazing setting powder for almost every skin type w/out that dry, powdery look. But…. The price point for 10.5gms (used to be $77.00), now at $66.00, when my 20-25gm powders such as, Nikkia Joy Cosmetics loose translucent setting powder is $55.00 & very comparable. It's extremely expensive for the amount of product and also you don't get to even use the small amount of product you receive, as you can't remove the inner sifter to open the pot and get the decent amount of powder still there. Therefore not getting the small amount (10.5gms), of product even available. This needs fixing asap please Hourglass as does either the amount per pot for the price point or a lower price point for the amount of product received. There my ONLY 2 issues with this product. Otherwise it's absolutely amazing. I would be repurchasing, but now my more economical 2nd choice, that has more product for less, is just as good, (especially for oily skin), and has a removable sifter to obtain ALL the pot contents. Has made me reconsider my future purchases. If, I get a Mecca voucher or some spare cash and wish to treat myself, I'll repurchase. This is / has been my go to for years. In terms of mineral powder for sensitive skin this is the best I have discovered. I have fair to medium skin (depending on time of year) with neutral undertone. I have very very sensitive skin as well as freckles! I have loved the "natural look" since I was young and started wearing this brand soon after I discovered Bare Minerals when I was 15. I still go back to the Translucent Light specifically although I still try other brands to figure out what works best for my skin. If my skin is in check, this goes on seamlessly. It actually seems to help with skin sensitivities. However as with all things if your skin isn't exfoliated or ready for foundation then it won't blend as smoothly!Lauren

I used this product for about 4 to 5 years. I remember finding this product stocking it on the shelves at Target. I had even worse oily prone skin. (T zone was the worst) this powder would cover my blemishes, did we have dark circles at 18? Surely not. But this product did wonders. It helped hide the acne I hated without looking cakey. It didn't make my skin overly oily. It didn't cause me to break out more. It didn't leave dry patches. The pigment and cover was great. It was buildable. But holy f*ck is that kickback rough!! Any time I’ve used powder foundation before, I’ve ended up looking as though I am covered in dust. This doesn’t do that, even when I wear the lighter shade. I can apply it without any liquid foundation and still see coverage. Best of all, it doesn’t make me break out. I do see a into masks, but it’s worth it. Just don’t use the little cushion to apply. Ordered from my husband’s account – I really like this setting powder, which when I use it with setting spray really does keep my makeup in place. I’ve even used it with Dermacol, which requires the most industrial strength setting powder going – and it works well. I love the hinged cap that stops any mishaps in your makeup bag and it comes with quite a large lip to avoid spills. It also has enough room for a sponge in the top, of you are so inclined. I did find for the first couple of uses it was quite difficult to get the powder out of the holes, but as you use the product it becomes less of an issue. I have used it mainly with a brush, but using a damp beauty blender (I saw this tip after scouring YouTube tutorials) works so well. I would definitely recommend this powder, it mattifies my skin without sucking all of the moisture out of it. I recently purchased this product alongside the new Candid foundation (I reviewed the foundation separately…love). I always use a setting powder after applying my foundation so I have used many in my time. I have been using Thrive's CC cream foundation and their setting powder. I decided to give the Candid products a try and I am pretty impressed. I like the way it feels on my skin, I like the way it sets my make up. I use a 10x magnifying mirror to review my make up before I leave the house and the first time I used this Candid combo, I was shocked at how well my make up looked. You honestly couldn't tell I was wearing any. My face looked like I had a natural flawless complexion and I was immediately very excited about this new find. This does come in two different shades and 001 seemed like the best powder color for my skin tone. I did not experience any of the "ghost" effects some other reviewers are talking about. I'm no expert, and I've only used a few other setting powders before this, but I really like this stuff! My face could be literally so oily and heavy (in the summer I do topical skincare, then moisturizer, then SPF 70 sunscreen) and the setting powder makes my skin look like it's never been oily in its life. I bought two shades – Classic Ivory and Sun Beige. I was thinking that these would be kind of similar to the hourglass ambient lighting powders. Classic Ivory is definitely too light for me but I was thinking about using it as a really subtle highlight under the eye. I think it's too pigmented for that specific purpose, but it is really pretty and the color is unique, however too light for me. The Sun Beige just doesn't seem to have ANY pigment. Even the highlighter side alone had to be built up over and over to just look glowy. And the other side literally didn't show up at all. Maybe I just got a bad one? Because the one that isn't my color seems amazing for people with very fair skin. The one that does match seems like a completely different, useless, not pigmented product. My skin color is a dark tan (just for reference I wear an NC47 in the winter, NC50 in the summer, NARS Macao, Lancôme shade 500 in the summer, maybelline Fit Me matte poreless 340 cappuccino). This powder goes on sheer and sets beautifully for an airbrushed finish. I typically use it to set my primer then after applying my liquid foundation and concealer I set with this powder, then bake with a loose banana powder and once I brush the baking powder away I spritz with a setting powder. This powder works well with all the other products I use in my daily makeup routine. My makeup stays in place and my skin looks poreless, smoothe, and by the end of the day doesn't look as oily as my regular powder (Mac studio fix) on hot humid days. I can even use my regular powder stop of this for extra coverage. I don't see this powder providing any coverage for my skin color. I've been using it consistently since I purchased it this past week and my sensitive, acne prone, combo/oily skin has taken to it well. I would definitely recommend!Vickyyyyyy

I don't know what kind of sorcery pür summoned when they whipped up this powder…. yeah, it's that good! For reference, I'm 44 with dry skin and fine lines under my eyes. It's like they combined an eye cream with a powder, that's the best way I can describe this product. I use it to set my under eye and down the center of my face, were I brighten up with concealer. It's never failed me and I've done tests using it on one half of my face, with my old favorite on the other half. Huge difference! I used as a setting powder over the pressed 4 in 1 powder but this didn’t keep the make up matte or from oiling up after 3 hrs. I love the texture though. I used it alone over makeupless skin same result. I’m very oily and I’m dissatisfied that this didn’t work. I have received this product from Topbox circle and I was so excited because I have used other setting powders in the past and nothing really compares to this one. Other setting powders claim to blur fine lines, but always fall short. This powder has a subtle blurring effect which leaves the face looking so natural. Unlike any other setting powders I’ve tried, this one doesn’t have any shimmer or shine to it, I love this because I don’t overly enjoy being shiny all over my face and it sets my makeup together quite nicely. The only powder I've actually used every spec of and needed to repurchase! I use translucent to set my foundation every day and it is perfect. It smooths out effortlessly and never cakes. And because it's translucent, of course, there's no added color after applying. You get a ton of product for such a great price. This powder is everything, Amazing quality it hide your pores and smooth them I can’t even explain how good this powder is Honestly. My skin is very fair so when I buy a translucent powder I really need it to be translucent, as most others I've tried seem to darken my foundation. This one is completely translucent and finely milled so it perfect for setting makeup, especially the under eyes. I rarely bother to take any makeup other than this out with me anymore, as this is all I need to refresh my makeup and it never looks cakey with several applications. First off a little background. I have terrible dark circles that are hereditary so there's no fixing or improving them, I just have to conceal. I've used color corrector with concealer and setting powder for years. BUT I cannot find a holy grail setting powder that doesn't fall into fine lines or turn my under eyes ashy colored. I just recently bought this after a reccomendation to try a pressed powder rather than loose powder. And WOW! I loveee this. I have tried soooo many other highly coveted powders that just didn't work for me but this did! I use a beauty blender to lightly press some powder over my concealer and it sets it perfectly without being too drying. I also take a powder brush and press the powder all over my face to set my foundation and it seriously leaves my skin shine free all day. It's not a drying formula and there is no flashback! The compact is amazing as well because I can carry it woth my for touch ups if needed. If you wanna try a non loose powder for setting, I would absolutely go for this one! I didn't understand the poor reviews, but then I read them and I can understand why people think this is drying, etc. I have excessively oily skin (cannot use any moisturizer, no hair conditioner, etc). This is perfect for people with very oily skin. It creates a fantastic canvas and prolongs makeup wear. I. normally need to "bake" a couple of times in the work day. With this I can actually get away with not baking – I use it in the morning after SPF and before foundation. Make up lasts all day. If I want to go out at night (12 hours later) then I still freshen it up with a little powder , but this is a game changer. Love it. I was so disappointed with this! The original P and P was great: good coverage, consistency, color and pore reduction. I could use it in place of foundation when I didn't need to get all made up. This new one is useless. It's very chalky and stark white and adds no color or coverage whatsoever to my skin as well as doing nothing for my pores. To get any coverage /use at all, I have to use a lot of it and since the new package gives me less product, this is a problem. Too Faced's bottom line benefited from selling less for more, but the consumer was cheated. Since the product didn't do what it was supposed to do, it was even more of a cheat. What a shame. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%' is my HG when it comes to acne reduction, therefore I couldn't wait to try The Ordinary's newest form of Niacinamide – one which allows you to control (or at least approximately) the percentage of it. I've read that there isn't much more efficacy after 15% (20% in another study) and also that it can start to sting once it goes over 10%. So Friday the week before last, I decided to put this powdered version of one of my favorite skincare ingredients to the test. Friday was perfect as it gave me the entire weekend to get my skin back to normal, in case it turned red or started peeling. Turns out I had nothing to worry about, because other than a slight tingle which subsided after less than a minute, my skin didn't turn red or peel at all. In fact I used it again this Friday past at a higher dose and it still didn't irritate. Here's what I did…I mixed the powder with TO's 'Hyaluronic Acid' to begin with but instantly decided no as I found it too sticky when mixing it in the palm of my hand. Rinsed it off. I've used HA before and was aware of its stickiness, but assumed the powder would alter the consistency, even if only slightly. Turns out it didn't! It's tricky to measure an exact quarter of the tiny measuring spoon that comes with the Niacinamide, but you can get a rough estimate of what a quarter is. Anyhow, once I'd decided against HA, I mixed it instead with 4 drops of 'Matrixyl 10% + HA' and this was a much better match: not too sticky and applied smoothly and evenly. Yes it does tingle but it's temporary. I did get a slight white/powdery layer on my face once it dried, but as I only used it last thing on a PM, it wasn't an issue for me. The results are visible the next day: brighter skin, slightly more refined pores and just like the serum version, a reduction in any acne. I did notice my skin was less oily upon waking as the powdery layer seemed to absorb sebum, but this was temporary, lasting only until washed off. For me, the biggest selling point is that you're in control of the concentration, and also the base that you use it in (provided it's in something between PH 5.1-7). Is this better than the 10% + Zinc serum? Yes. I never noticed any difference on pores using that one, only on acne for which it's much more convenient to dab on at anytime, being a pre-mixed formula. This one takes a little more effort but the results are much more pronounced overall. I've now upped this to 3 x weekly and love the effect it has on my complexion. It just looks so much more clearer. I didn't notice any further improvements at a higher concentration than a quarter of the spoon, which shows there was some truth to the theory about it tapering off after a certain percentage. I think the only time I'd consider increasing the amount of powder is if/when the effect starts to plateau (as happens with many a good ingredient) and even then, only in very small increments to extend the benefits for as long as possible. From what I've seen, it overall seems to be not the most popular product from the brand, but I find really good use for it. I truly believe that the niacinamide powder is superior to the niacinamide serum in terms of its utility, if you can tolerate it. ✨Tips Tricks for Mixing Actives✨ Niacinamide is great because it can be mixed with several actives. The Ordinary doesn't recommend mixing niacinamide with vitamin C because of a yellowing effect. There's significant contention on this point and it may be appropriate to mix the two together and certain situations. ✨Niacinamide and Retinoids✨ I prefer mixing niacinamide with my retinoids – specifically prescription tretinoin. This is a safe combination, and I actually find that this is really helpful for the efficacy of both products. Retinoids help with cell turnover rates and nice and divide assists with the moisture barrier, which would end up helping out both actives work better. Since retinoids cause irritation, it's important to preserve the moisture barrier, and that's how niacinamide can help. In addition, retinoids increase cell turnover rates, which can assist with niacinamide penetrating deeper into the skin and doing it's job better. Overall, this is a great combination. ✨Body Skincare✨ I specifically love this powder because it is extremely economical when going forward with my body skin care routine. Since it's in economical format, I can justify using it all over my body. I mix it into a relatively inexpensive body lotion – lubriderm – and this has made significant improvements in the quality of my moisture barrier for all my skin, not just the skin on my face and neck! Overall, the benefit of this niacinamide powder over the serum option is that it's in a much more economical format, and I can justify using it all over my body by mixing it into inexpensive body lotions. Since my skin does not over sensitize to niacinamide, I don't have to worry too much about having an exact concentration, which is the overall downfall of this product. If your skin can handle it, I do recommend going for the powder over the serum because it is better bang for your buck.nicole.k

I was soo excited to try this, because the other Niacinamide + zinc peels off. I have tried to mix it, a suuuper small amount, with different stuff, even just water, but I kept getting random cystic acne pimples!! I have combo-normal skin and absolutely never did I had cystic acne and I wondered if it was this product what was causing me that. I bought this in July 2020, so I decided to give it a chance, to keep trying one a month (like using it 3 times a week) and even every 2 months. Every time I used it kept causing me cystic acne (a painful bump pimple, head will never show up and will last for 3 weeks), In random parts of my face I never had any breakouts like my cheeks. People thought I had a mosquito bit several times!! I dont know what it is, it must be something related to the powder, that doesnt dilute or so. I dont get it because I have used Niacinamide before and never had any issues. TO BE FAIR, it did made my skin smooth and my pores were smaller (so It did what Niacinamide is supposed to do, hence the two stars). But risking cystic pimples is just a MASSIVE no GO for anyone. It is been 2 months since my last cystic pimple and the post-inflamatory pigmentation is still there. I dont even dare to give it to a friend, I would feel awful if they would experience same as I did. I wonder if I can still return it, the shop in Amsterdam is close permanently and I dont even think I have the ticket. Any help Deciem costumer service?CG

I have used this powder for decades. It was pricy when I first started using it and is pricy now but it has consistently performed for me and the product is of good quality, so I justified using it. However, I was dismayed to see, as previous reviewers have mentioned, that although the price has remained high (and let's be honest, has leapt up in pounds increments over the last 5 years) Clinique has sneakily reduced the amount for the same price by over 25%! If you had been upfront and brought this to consumers attention, then that would have been the honest way to deal with your customers. It sounds to me that Clinique that been hiring marketeers from companies such as the chocolate manufacturers – just put the price up but reduced the amount, they'll never notice, consumers are stupid. We're not and by doing this you are damaging not only Clinque's reputation but also that trust between you and your loyal consumers. We are fed up of being treated in such an underhand way. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I, for one, after many decades of loyalty will be searching elsewhere, not because the quality of the product has changed but because of the disrespect the brand is showing to its customers.bettyboo67

I was told they were re-packaging the product. I just received a new jar and the product looked the same. I couldn't tell what the "repackaging" was so I flipped it over to see how much the jar contains. The new packaging contains 25g, whereas the old packaging contains 35g. Less product, but still the same price.Elle D

I adore this powers,i use it either with superbalanced foundation in Alabastor or on its own. The little brush is fine for touch up's but not on large areas of the face. Please clinique can you provide a powder puff with a little ribbon to put 2 fingers through or have a option to buy a powder puff. I do own the powder brush but must admit i am old school where there is something about using a powder puff makes me feel special while putting on my makeup. please bring in a powder puff for you wonderful loose powder which i use in transparency neautral. Can you also bring back you wonderful green compact cases for your pressed powders like almost powder makeup which i also like to use,the mirror cases is not the same. Everyone i know adored the green packaging plus people new that it was classic clinique.evielyn
