I loooooooove this powder!!! I am always on the hunt for makeup products with an extra kick of SPF. I also work crazy long hours and need something that will stand the test of time. Enter Bare Minerals. This powder needs to be placed along side that famous rotisserie oven. “You set it and forget it!” Once you dust on a layer over your foundation and concealer, your makeup will not budge. It keeps your face looking soft and flawless. I love that the ingredients are nothing harsh, just simple stuff that won’t hurt your skin. The consistency is super fine and finely milled. I absolutely love this setting powder. From my own experience, this is better for people who have warm, neutral-warm, & olive toned people. It doesn't make me look like a ghost or change the color of my make up like the original did. The original powder made me look ashy & pasty. So I'd say, as someone who has neutral-warm undertones with light olive skin this works well & it enhanced my make up rather than change the color drastically. So anyone who has cooler undertones, might wanna avoid this one and opt for the Illuminating or original powder. This one might make you look too ashy if you have cooler undertones. I received the Bare Minerals Original Mineral Veil Compact complementary from Influenster, in return for an honest review. I've always been a big fan of Bare Mineral cosmetics. Their lightweigt, longwearing formula is always one of my top choices for my low-maintenance, everyday look. The one thing that has always been a bit of a turn off is the loose powder formula of their products because it required me to carry a makeup brush with me for touch-ups on the go (not too convenient in a small purse). Enter the Mineral Veil compact. This beauty is a game changer. I pop the sleek looking compact in my purse and I have the amazingly smooth coverage of the Mineral Veil loose powder wherever I am, without the mess! Did I mention the smooth coverage? So let me preface this review by saying I haven’t tried this powder yet with a full beat, over any type of foundation. Since I bought this, I have been using this for no-makeup makeup and I am thrilled with it. I have problematic, oily skin that has issues with rosacea, large pores and texture. In my day-to-day life I don’t always wear foundation/concealer or much in terms of base products because I either find myself wanting to take the full 30-60 minutes to do a complete look, and not have the time to. I’ve also found that the myriad of tinted moisturizers, powder foundations and lighter coverage products I’ve tried still look somewhat makeup-ey and/or don’t last the day on my problematic skin. I bought this intending to use it with makeup, but because of the claims, one morning after my skincare, I decided to swirl it on my bare face to see how it behaved. This powder enhances my skin, without looking like anything at all. It doesn’t necessarily hide my skin problems, but it makes my skin look like my absolute best skin days, whether or not my skin is actually cooperating with me. It has a sheen to it that’s not sparkly or glittery that blurs and softens everything. Throughout the day, it also does a great job of making it so I’m not a complete oil slick by noon. I’ll still see some oil come through, but it’s controlled, and the powder isn’t breaking down or separating. This powder gives me a vibe like the old face powders women would use in the 1940s/1950s, but a million times better. I also enjoy the packaging – the component doesn’t feel as luxurious as other Tatcha products I have purchased but it’s not bad. However, I give that a pass because it’s easy to get the right amount of powder out of the component. It also comes with a little rubber stopper to cover where the powder comes out, so it can be traveled with or moved without the whole jar turning into a powder bomb the next time it needs to be opened. I absolutely love this stuff. I'll be honest, it's rare for me to use up a makeup product. But I have not only used this powder up once, but multiple times. It makes reapplying SPF easier, and I even apply this over sunscreen, even if I'm not wearing makeup because it makes skin look so nice. It adds just a hint of coverage, and is somehow matte where you need it, and glowy where you need it. It's a very slept on product. Also, I'm very acne prone, and not only has this never broken me out, I feel it actually benefits my complexion. The only downsides are that I don't think the translucent shade is actually translucent for everyone. I'm very fair, and I make it work, but it does deposit color. I really wanted to love this since I have been looking for a long time for a powder with good SPF to reapply during the day. My skin is oily, acne-prone and sensitive, so I'm picky about ingredients and I was happy to find a compact that was mineral-based and talc-free. But the bad packaging really turns an excellent product into one that's just OK. Firstly, the clasp on mine broke almost instantly, meaning it won't stay closed. The brush it comes with is tiny, cheap, and difficult to use. So much powder gets wasted before you can even get any on your face. I threw the brush out and use a regular puff now. Lastly, the "translucent" shade is misleading. It works OK with some blending for me, but it would be way too dark for anyone who is very fair, and other light skin tones may find this a little on the orange side. I'll likely repurchase since there aren't a lot of alternatives, but I think this could be a truly amazing product with just a couple of improvements!masilea

I've tried 6 or 8 times to get this to work, but it just doesn't. You can't put it over cream products (like foundation or BB cream), even long after they have dried, because it collects in sheets of weird surface debris. You can't put it over powder products (like retouching your powder), or it separates and becomes very patchy. I bought it to reapply sunscreen later in the day, but it just makes your face look horrible. If you try to fix it with a sponge — wet or dry — the only way you can revert to a human-looking face is if you rub it off. Which defeats the whole purpose of an SPF powder. Maybelline New York Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation Powder O.M.Gosh! This is such a nice powder foundation! It takes the shine away with it's smooth light/medium Matte coverage. Helps hide those pores. I used a little light concealer on the red spots, broken veins on my face then finished off with this- what a nice natural look! I used to have this on my MUST HAVES list of my make up routine back when I just started wearing makeup. I would still have it on my list if my fine lines and wrinkles weren't creeping up on me. I have been using this product for quite a few weeks and I noticed that every morning, when I apply it (I only apply a small amount) I keep having wheezing and breathing difficulties, coughing and tight chest. I peeled off the label to see the ingredients and it's made of Talcum Powder which is known to cause cervical cancer for example if you use it on your bikini line for a long period of time. Companies know of the dangers of using Talc and YET they still keep using it, they only care about their profits of course. Ladies, please keep away from Talc!!!!!!! The Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder did a great job at locking down my makeup all day long. No creasing, settling into fine lines, or noticeable transfer (note that I did use a finishing spray with this product). I tested this all day long in a hot, humid Alabama heat wave, and my makeup looked near perfect by the time I washed my face before bed. The application went well with both a brush and a powder puff (not included). The only complaint I found is that I had to deviate a bit from my usual skincare to accommodate the product. Full disclosure – I have EXTREMELY DRY skin, and it felt like my usual routine caused this product to apply very dry. On day two, I used a more intensive moisturizer, and the powder did great. This powder is formulated with minerals designed to help control shine and smooth skin texture with a hint of color. Regarding the product, the powder is light and fine. It feels very smooth and since it isn't translucent it provides pretty decent coverage. Depending on the brand, it can be applied alone, without base. I use it to set the base, it helps the makeup stay longer than usual. Normally a little shine appears around my nose, but note that with the use of powder this occurs to a lesser extent. The rest of the makeup stays fresh. It manages to control the brightness for almost 6 hours, which is pretty good. In addition, it leaves a slightly matte appearance without drying out. The skin looks much smoother and with an even tone. I must say that if you overdo it a bit with the application the skin can look dry and powdery, especially when applied on a matte base. This finishing powder… took me about 45 minutes to figure out how to open it… i screwed the top off, and couldnt figure out wht the powder wasnt coming out. i searched for a sticker that might be covering the holes… couldnt find one. i had just about given up on it and was considering breaking the jar with a hammer or poking a hole in it with a nail when i started playin with the container and my fingernail caught a slight corner of the sticker i couldnt find. there is a sticker covering the holes! it was just a little difficult to find, it was not noticeable to the naked eye at all! i finally got it open and it didnt come with a pad, but the directions said to "swirl a brush into the powder"; well the holes are really small, i dont know of any brush thatd be able to swirl into those holes. i didnt see where there was an option to take the top of the jar off completely (maybe there is, maybe thats hidden too) so i ended up tapping the sides of the container to get some of the powder on the top part of the holes and dipped my brush in that, spread it over top of my foundation and pressed powder and blush.. it was very light, didnt feel heavy at all. i barely noticed having it on. what i really liked is that it made my face feel incredibly smooth and soft all day. i didnt have to reapply.jennifer .l

This is my favorite face powder of all time! The ONLY reason I could not give it 5 stars is because of the packaging! I remember seeing negative reviews about the packaging of this product before purchasing it and thinking, “Oh, it can’t be that bad,” but it is. It takes minutes to shake enough powder out to cover half of your face with a dusting. However – the product itself is SO good that I will shake it for minutes gladly to achieve the glow-from-within look this powder helps me achieve. I struggled to find a powder for YEARS because I do not like to look matte but I am oily, so I need a powder that holds up. This one is perfection. This is just a beautiful product. I can't go without it. I like a natural finish, and having mature, dry skin, I use NARS tinted moisturiser with this over the top to get a flawless but natural finish. This is luminous, it gives you a lovely natural glow, its not heavy, never caked, but it always leaves a great, long wearing finish (I don't do bake or heavy setting though). My only criticism would be that, it is luminous, so it will highlight under eye bags, and the pesky wrinkles you might want to hide, and so I use this all over, but then cover eye bags and wrinkles with the By Terry Hyaluronic Powder, which is matte, and covers the bits I don't want to go. With both, I have an incredibly good team, and I will not be changing them out for anything. Tried and tested great!SusieV

This is hands down my favourite setting powder, (& I've tried a fair few). It is good on my oily skin, soaking up oils & keeping me matte but not dry like a desert. It doesn't cling to Peach fuzz and doesn't crease/cake my under eye area when I set after concealer. I used this over liquid foundation & concealer. It is hands down an amazing setting powder for almost every skin type w/out that dry, powdery look. But…. The price point for 10.5gms (used to be $77.00), now at $66.00, when my 20-25gm powders such as, Nikkia Joy Cosmetics loose translucent setting powder is $55.00 & very comparable. It's extremely expensive for the amount of product and also you don't get to even use the small amount of product you receive, as you can't remove the inner sifter to open the pot and get the decent amount of powder still there. Therefore not getting the small amount (10.5gms), of product even available. This needs fixing asap please Hourglass as does either the amount per pot for the price point or a lower price point for the amount of product received. There my ONLY 2 issues with this product. Otherwise it's absolutely amazing. I would be repurchasing, but now my more economical 2nd choice, that has more product for less, is just as good, (especially for oily skin), and has a removable sifter to obtain ALL the pot contents. Has made me reconsider my future purchases. If, I get a Mecca voucher or some spare cash and wish to treat myself, I'll repurchase. This product is useful in reducing shine on face. The powder is white in color and shows up prominently on darker skin. The coverage is light and it does well in absorbing oil. I’ve been using this product for the past decade or longer and have always loved the tone correcting it offers (also one of the only powders on the market that matched my cool undertoned porcelain skin for a long time). My skin feels better after wearing it too. It maintains the natural quality of bare skin while smoothing out color and blending in any inconsistencies/blemishes. It’s not full coverage on its own. Yes, it used to come with a cheap little furry applicator. I never used it. I buy the up&up brand latex free rounds and they’ve always worked well for a flawless application for me. Wow, is all I can say. I've not found a powder I loved this much in years. My complexion looked flawless and that's saying a lot with having some broken blood vessels that nothing else has covered. Felt like I had on nothing at all and just glowed. My only question is, why wasn't there a puff inside? I expected there to be one and there wasn't so I had to use an old puff/applicator. This powder has been my go to since I first tried it. I have normal skin that tends to get oily throughout the day. I love the way this powder instantly gave me an airbrushed look and healthy appearance. It is not cakey at all. I tried the powder in the shade light and it was a bit dark for me and then switched to the fair/light and it was perfect. I did notice that the light shade did appear to be more of a luminous finish than the fair/light. But this powder stays beautiful the whole day and never looks too shiny either. If you are looking for a flat/matte finish this would not be the best choice for you. And I could see if someone had acne this also may not be the best choice. But I do have larger pores and this powder effortlessly blurs them. I use the Sephora Collection foundation brush #64 (I know it says it’s best for liquids and creams) and it gives me the perfect amount of coverage. I've lost interest in HB's brand years ago bcuz of how overly priced products. However when i saw this new luminous pressed powder i was sucked in quick thanks to Huda's IG marketing. I got it and tried it on my combi-oil skin, and it did not worked on my skin. Looked very patchy. Basically this "luminous powder" is just pressed face powder mixed in with some highlighter in it, that gives it its shimmery look. That's it! FYI, You can get the same effect, by putting liquid highlighter all over your face after applying your primer, then followed by your favorite foundation. Absolutely gorgeous powder with the perfect glow for me. I use different shades for winter, spring, summer and mix as my skin gets paler and darker throughout the year – 2, 3, 4, 5. I do this with Armani foundation, Nars concealer, Estée Lauder face powder, that’s the norm for me, I always need multiple shades. I think it is the perfect setting powder for my concealer. It sets it without being too matte or heavy. It’s a great color match for me. I wanted to use this for several months before writing a review because I often find products work well for a couple of months, then aren’t as effective anymore. I’m glad to say I have been using this daily for seven months, and I’m still happy with the results! I have combination skin that is very oily in the t-zone and can also be dry and flakey. Before finding this, I tested other brands, but never found anything better than Laura Mercier. I used Laura Mercier’s regular translucent powder for years, and was excited to see this new talc-free version. During the summer I don’t think it kept the shine on my nose at bay for quite as long as the original, but it lasts longer during the fall and winter. I still need to use an oil blotter and touch up by the afternoon; however, it’s the best setting powder I’ve found so far. It gives my skin a smooth, natural matte finish that I really like and doesn’t accentuate dry spots. I don’t need to use much to achieve the right amount of coverage. My holy grail setting powder. This was one of the first setting powders I ever tried, chosen based off its reputation. To put it plainly, lets just say it easily lived up to the hype and more. I have since tried 20+ other setting powders and while some definitely were nice, none came close to out preforming this one. It looks PHENOMENAL both with Laura Mercier’s foundation (another amazing product) but also with all other foundations. The smoothing and blurring effect it gives is truly hard to describe until you use it. A setting powder is one of those products that are nice because they lock in foundation and concealer and make them last longer, but other then that, I didn’t think a setting powder would do much else. And then I used this and my world and makeup was forever changed. It seriously makes my skin look so much more flawless. I’m 35 and though I don’t have many wrinkles or lines yet, I do have semi large pores and combination skin that becomes shiny/oily a few hours into my day after applying makeup. This powder filled in/covered those pores more then any primer or other powder ever has. And it preforms for hours. It now takes about 8 hours for my oily skin to start to shine instead of the 3-4 hours I get with other powders. I wanted to use this for several months before writing a review because I often find products work well for a couple of months, then aren’t as effective anymore. I’m glad to say I have been using this daily for seven months, and I’m still happy with the results! I have combination skin that is very oily in the t-zone and can also be dry and flakey. Before finding this, I tested other brands, but never found anything better than Laura Mercier. I used Laura Mercier’s regular translucent powder for years, and was excited to see this new talc-free version. During the summer I don’t think it kept the shine on my nose at bay for quite as long as the original, but it lasts longer during the fall and winter. I still need to use an oil blotter and touch up by the afternoon; however, it’s the best setting powder I’ve found so far. It gives my skin a smooth, natural matte finish that I really like and doesn’t accentuate dry spots. I don’t need to use much to achieve the right amount of coverage. I hope this will eventually be available in a travel size. I highly recommend trying it!shopaholickris

My holy grail setting powder. This was one of the first setting powders I ever tried, chosen based off its reputation. To put it plainly, lets just say it easily lived up to the hype and more. I have since tried 20+ other setting powders and while some definitely were nice, none came close to out preforming this one. It looks PHENOMENAL both with Laura Mercier’s foundation (another amazing product) but also with all other foundations. The smoothing and blurring effect it gives is truly hard to describe until you use it. A setting powder is one of those products that are nice because they lock in foundation and concealer and make them last longer, but other then that, I didn’t think a setting powder would do much else. And then I used this and my world and makeup was forever changed. It seriously makes my skin look so much more flawless. I’m 35 and though I don’t have many wrinkles or lines yet, I do have semi large pores and combination skin that becomes shiny/oily a few hours into my day after applying makeup. This powder filled in/covered those pores more then any primer or other powder ever has. And it preforms for hours. It now takes about 8 hours for my oily skin to start to shine instead of the 3-4 hours I get with other powders. I was a little leery to purchase this compact but decided to give it a try and am so happy that I did. Being 'older' liquid has a tendency to settle in wrinkles and makes you actually look older. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%' is my HG when it comes to acne reduction, therefore I couldn't wait to try The Ordinary's newest form of Niacinamide – one which allows you to control (or at least approximately) the percentage of it. I've read that there isn't much more efficacy after 15% (20% in another study) and also that it can start to sting once it goes over 10%. So Friday the week before last, I decided to put this powdered version of one of my favorite skincare ingredients to the test. Friday was perfect as it gave me the entire weekend to get my skin back to normal, in case it turned red or started peeling. Turns out I had nothing to worry about, because other than a slight tingle which subsided after less than a minute, my skin didn't turn red or peel at all. In fact I used it again this Friday past at a higher dose and it still didn't irritate. Here's what I did…I mixed the powder with TO's 'Hyaluronic Acid' to begin with but instantly decided no as I found it too sticky when mixing it in the palm of my hand. Rinsed it off. I've used HA before and was aware of its stickiness, but assumed the powder would alter the consistency, even if only slightly. Turns out it didn't! It's tricky to measure an exact quarter of the tiny measuring spoon that comes with the Niacinamide, but you can get a rough estimate of what a quarter is. Anyhow, once I'd decided against HA, I mixed it instead with 4 drops of 'Matrixyl 10% + HA' and this was a much better match: not too sticky and applied smoothly and evenly. Yes it does tingle but it's temporary. I did get a slight white/powdery layer on my face once it dried, but as I only used it last thing on a PM, it wasn't an issue for me. The results are visible the next day: brighter skin, slightly more refined pores and just like the serum version, a reduction in any acne. I did notice my skin was less oily upon waking as the powdery layer seemed to absorb sebum, but this was temporary, lasting only until washed off. For me, the biggest selling point is that you're in control of the concentration, and also the base that you use it in (provided it's in something between PH 5.1-7). Is this better than the 10% + Zinc serum? Yes. I never noticed any difference on pores using that one, only on acne for which it's much more convenient to dab on at anytime, being a pre-mixed formula. This one takes a little more effort but the results are much more pronounced overall. I've now upped this to 3 x weekly and love the effect it has on my complexion. It just looks so much more clearer. I didn't notice any further improvements at a higher concentration than a quarter of the spoon, which shows there was some truth to the theory about it tapering off after a certain percentage. I think the only time I'd consider increasing the amount of powder is if/when the effect starts to plateau (as happens with many a good ingredient) and even then, only in very small increments to extend the benefits for as long as possible. ✨Overall Impression ✨ This is one of my favorite products from The Ordinary. From what I've seen, it overall seems to be not the most popular product from the brand, but I find really good use for it. I truly believe that the niacinamide powder is superior to the niacinamide serum in terms of its utility, if you can tolerate it. ✨Tips Tricks for Mixing Actives✨ Niacinamide is great because it can be mixed with several actives. The Ordinary doesn't recommend mixing niacinamide with vitamin C because of a yellowing effect. There's significant contention on this point and it may be appropriate to mix the two together and certain situations. ✨Niacinamide and Retinoids✨ I prefer mixing niacinamide with my retinoids – specifically prescription tretinoin. This is a safe combination, and I actually find that this is really helpful for the efficacy of both products. Retinoids help with cell turnover rates and nice and divide assists with the moisture barrier, which would end up helping out both actives work better. Since retinoids cause irritation, it's important to preserve the moisture barrier, and that's how niacinamide can help. In addition, retinoids increase cell turnover rates, which can assist with niacinamide penetrating deeper into the skin and doing it's job better. Overall, this is a great combination. ✨Body Skincare✨ I specifically love this powder because it is extremely economical when going forward with my body skin care routine. Since it's in economical format, I can justify using it all over my body. I mix it into a relatively inexpensive body lotion – lubriderm – and this has made significant improvements in the quality of my moisture barrier for all my skin, not just the skin on my face and neck! Overall, the benefit of this niacinamide powder over the serum option is that it's in a much more economical format, and I can justify using it all over my body by mixing it into inexpensive body lotions. Since my skin does not over sensitize to niacinamide, I don't have to worry too much about having an exact concentration, which is the overall downfall of this product. If your skin can handle it, I do recommend going for the powder over the serum because it is better bang for your buck.nicole.k

I was soo excited to try this, because the other Niacinamide + zinc peels off. I have tried to mix it, a suuuper small amount, with different stuff, even just water, but I kept getting random cystic acne pimples!! I have combo-normal skin and absolutely never did I had cystic acne and I wondered if it was this product what was causing me that. I bought this in July 2020, so I decided to give it a chance, to keep trying one a month (like using it 3 times a week) and even every 2 months. Every time I used it kept causing me cystic acne (a painful bump pimple, head will never show up and will last for 3 weeks), In random parts of my face I never had any breakouts like my cheeks. People thought I had a mosquito bit several times!! I dont know what it is, it must be something related to the powder, that doesnt dilute or so. I dont get it because I have used Niacinamide before and never had any issues. TO BE FAIR, it did made my skin smooth and my pores were smaller (so It did what Niacinamide is supposed to do, hence the two stars). But risking cystic pimples is just a MASSIVE no GO for anyone. It is been 2 months since my last cystic pimple and the post-inflamatory pigmentation is still there. I dont even dare to give it to a friend, I would feel awful if they would experience same as I did. I wonder if I can still return it, the shop in Amsterdam is close permanently and I dont even think I have the ticket. Any help Deciem costumer service?CG

This setting powder is a Holy Grail it should be up there just like Laura Mercier or Becca powders. I have a Full sized version of it and it is huge I could use it for a very long time and it will never run out. It sets your face in your makeup all day long. it gives your face that perfect creamy finish, that is not too harsh ,not luminous, and not too matte all at the same time. It is just right for making your face makeup set all day long and it does not fail. It doesn't crease and I have oily skin. It doesn't show all your flaws in your makeup application. I received my mini ABH powder in Space NK advent calendar and decided to give it a go without being excited). And OMG it’s amazing! I use it every day now! I'm very loyal to my By Terry Hyaluronic powder but tried this as it came with my Space NK Advent Calendar. It's lightweight and not too powdery – it doesn't create a dusty effect on the skin. My favorite setting powder of all time! It’s literally the only powder that works for me. I have extremely oily skin and am always shiny, it’s very frustrating. But I’ve found that this product keeps the oil at bay for hours. After some time I do get a little shine near my nose (that’s a given) but a little touch up makes it all better. I love this product so much that I bought the travel sized version. However, I really wish they brought back the pressed/compact setting finishing powder. I bought this after reading all the amazing reviews and I still believe all those reviews but unfortunately for me, personally, this powder just doesn't do what I want it to. It won't blend at all and leaves my face looking cakey. Maybe it's my combination skin because it gets cakey only in my tzone area but it's super obvious. You can also clearly see white powder on my face and trust me, I am pale as a ghost. If anyone else is experiencing the same thing I experienced, you might want to try Stay Naked the Fix by Urban Decay. Yes, it's a pressed powder and no, it's not translucent but I bought the fairest shade and that one ended up doing exactly what I needed. It's a bit more expensive but worth it. I absolutely love Dermablend Professional’s Illuminating Banana loose setting powder! It has a slight yellow/tan tint that is used to brighten your complexion while locking in your make up. The powder contains pigmented pearls create a soft sheen that provide a beautiful soft sheen that never leaves your face looking ashy or flat. This powder enhances the wearability of your foundation to provide up to 16 hours of smudge resistant make up. It is dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist approved, allergy free, fragrance free and tested for sensitive skin. It comes in a sturdy container with plenty of powder and an application cushion. I typically use the transparent form of setting powder but do tend to get a bit of a tan in the warmer months. At this time of year, I always change to a darker shade of foundation, setting powder and face bronzers. I enjoy this product just as much as the original loose setting powder. I love how it gives me that summertime glow without adding actual colour to my face. It mattifies my face and helps to control excess shine and oiliness. This powder does transfer a little bit to my mask after a long period of warm and sweaty wear. I do use a lot of buildable foundation so I do feel that this is would be inevitable. I really do love this entire product line and that includes this Illuminating Banana loose setting powder. However, I was dismayed to see, as previous reviewers have mentioned, that although the price has remained high (and let's be honest, has leapt up in pounds increments over the last 5 years) Clinique has sneakily reduced the amount for the same price by over 25%! If you had been upfront and brought this to consumers attention, then that would have been the honest way to deal with your customers. It sounds to me that Clinique that been hiring marketeers from companies such as the chocolate manufacturers – just put the price up but reduced the amount, they'll never notice, consumers are stupid. We're not and by doing this you are damaging not only Clinque's reputation but also that trust between you and your loyal consumers. We are fed up of being treated in such an underhand way. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Please clinique can you provide a powder puff with a little ribbon to put 2 fingers through or have a option to buy a powder puff. I do own the powder brush but must admit i am old school where there is something about using a powder puff makes me feel special while putting on my makeup. please bring in a powder puff for you wonderful loose powder which i use in transparency neautral. You can simply where it just as a light touch up for a casual day or if your wanting something more dramatic use it as a foundation with the soft white sponge that comes with it. I bought this because of the positive reviews but wasn’t too sure what to expect. It’s amazing though! I got it just before going on holidays to an insane 35-40 degrees Celsius and I’ve been using it over my day cream simply, hoping for reduced shine and a bit more even skin tone. It has 100% delivered on that, and it has not only reduced the shine but helped keeping my skin rather dry and smooth even in the heat AND it has helped prevent manage my breakouts which I often get while traveling especially in extreme weather conditions. This face powder is perfect for me. I have oily / combination skin and always use a powder to cover the shine. I use a large brush to apply. It covers with a matt finish and seems to keep the shine at bay for longer than others I have used. It also leaves my skin with a dewy natural finish (not white looking as you might expect with a white powder). I would imagine if your skin was dry to normal it would be too drying. I will definitely be buying again!Anonymous
