Bought this because of TIK TOK and heard nothing but extraordinary reviews and everyone was RIGHT! The hype is REAL you guys! I am a sucker for blurring primer or setting sprays and this powder is a game changer.. no joke. I've tried a sample size of the regular translucent powder by IT Cosmetics and it worked well. I was happy to receive the full sized compact in the Translucent Tan-Rich shade in exchange for my honest review. The compact itself is matte and sleek. It has a mirror on the inside which is opposite of the packed powder. Under the powder, there is a small compartment for the beauty sponge. I find these sponges to be less than ideal and usually use a fluffy brush to apply instead. The shade is a little darker than my skintone and has a redder undertone but it looks okay on my skin. It gives it an airbrushed look and isn't cakey or heavy. It did a decent job blurring my pores and keeping my skin from getting very oily which tends to happen around my t-zone. I may use it to set my contour or bronzer. I plucked sparse hairs on my face and then used the powder to see if it would hide the redness. The redness still peaked through so I would not use it by itself unless you are okay with minor/major imperfections to show through. It would look good over a BB/CC cream or foundation and keep it in place.SRSmith08
This powder is nothing revolutionary. It's fine really & not a bad powder by any means. The way I tried it was I replaced my current powder w/this one & it didn't change anything else (Tarte pore filling primer & PoreFessional setting spray) but the IT powder didn't do anything additional in terms of pore reduction, which is what its supposed to specifically address. But it mattified the skin ok without being chalky or giving a dry appearance. The finish was actually pretty nice, but not better. I didn't like how the enclosed sponge applied powder unevenly, like too much in some spots & I had to go in with either a brush or my fingers to blend it away. This isn't better than my UD All Nighter powder but the All Nighter offers the longevity I need in a powder. It can really hang in there when other powders allow that oil breakthrough to occur hours sooner than the All Nighter. So I get the best pore reduction & makeup longevity when the PoreFessional setting spray is added to the equation – which by the way is worth trying bcz it does reduce appearance of pores. I just wanted to try this powder & again, it's okay. It's fine, & definitely deserves the 3 stars I gave. But because it didn't really lessen pores, I couldn't give it more. I couldn't ever get myself to pull the trigger on paying full price for this because I NEVER hear ANYONE talking about it – which is oftentimes meaningful. I really loved this setting powder and found that it was really effective, as the name suggests, at setting my makeup. But it’s definitely a multitasker that went beyond being just a setting powder and and it performed beyond my expectations. I don’t have overly oily skin but in the summer I always have a bit more and this powder has been great for keeping that at bay. The best thing about this powder is probably the blurring effect and how long it lasts without needing to be reapplied. It definitely helped to reduce the look of my fine lines and pores which is always a plus. It’s super light and finely milled so it felt weightless and so smoothing. I really appreciate the fact that it doesn’t feel at all like I’ve added another layer to my face, especially in the summer when I basically want to look and feel like I’m not wearing any makeup but still enjoy the benefits of wearing makeup that performs really well. I was hesitant because of the price, but it is worth it in my opinion. I use a cream foundation mixed with a skin tint, and if I need it, full coverage concealer. This powder sets it in place wonderfully. My skin looks soft matte, almost airbrushed. It’s not shiny or greasy, even after a few hours of wear(mind you I’ve only tried this in winter, so i’m curious to see how it holds up with summer heat). I have normal skin, with acne problems. I’m quite pale, so I usually go for translucent powders just to be safe. This doesn’t lighten my foundation like other translucent powders I’ve tried, but again I have pale skin. I noticed there is no fallout in the pan when I use the applicator provided, a variety of brushes, or a sponge (very impressive!!!). I was recently gifted the Bare Minerals Original Mineral Veil Pressed Setting Powder in Translucent by @influenster & @bareminerals in exchange for my honest review. When I first received it, I thought it looked an awful lot like the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Setting Powder that I already owned. Even the packaging is super similar. So I decided to do a few days of split face testing with both products. For the most part, both products work exactly the same way & looked almost identical on my skin. Both products claim to reduce the appearance of pores, blur imperfections, & leave your skin with a filter free finish. I would say most of this is achieved by the first ingredient in both products, mica. It’s typically the ingredient in makeup that gives you that blurring or glowing look & I’m not mad at it. I’m here for all the blurring! The biggest differences I noticed with the Bare Minerals is how soft & smooth their formula is. Just rubbing your finger across the compact, you can feel how smooth it is. Their formula is talc-free and contains shea butter, cacoa butters & vitamin E. After applying, I noticed the Bare Minerals gave a slightly more glowing look than the It Cosmetics. And when applied with a blender sponge to set my under eye concealer, I thought it looked a bit less “powdery” & a tad more natural. All in all, both products are really great & actually do what they claim to do. They both retail for right around $30. You can’t go wrong with either product. My favorite setting powder of all time! It’s literally the only powder that works for me. I have extremely oily skin and am always shiny, it’s very frustrating. But I’ve found that this product keeps the oil at bay for hours. After some time I do get a little shine near my nose (that’s a given) but a little touch up makes it all better. I bought this after reading all the amazing reviews and I still believe all those reviews but unfortunately for me, personally, this powder just doesn't do what I want it to. It won't blend at all and leaves my face looking cakey. Maybe it's my combination skin because it gets cakey only in my tzone area but it's super obvious. You can also clearly see white powder on my face and trust me, I am pale as a ghost. If anyone else is experiencing the same thing I experienced, you might want to try Stay Naked the Fix by Urban Decay. I will start out with the good bits: this comes with a lot of product so lasts a long time and this powder gives me the least ashy finish for my dark skin tone compared to other loose powders yet still manages to give me that nice highlighted look. I do not experience flashback in pictures with this setting powder either. However, this powder feels quite drying for me sometimes and my concealer ALWAYS creases when I use this powder. The only thing that reduces creasing slightly is if I bake with it but even then my under eyes are not completely creaseless. I wouldn’t recommend using too much of this because it can give a more powdery and heavy look if you’re not too careful. Often this powder will crack underneath my eyes and come off at the corners, I have dry under eyes so wouldn’t recommend it to those with dry under eyes. This has been relegated to the loose powder that I use for trips to the grocery store i.e. nothing important so that I can finish it. I don’t think I will be buying this again.renee.a

I was sent this powder by we are eves, I have now tried it for about 1 week and I can say that it is okay. The colour match is alright but in my opinion leans a bit too peachy/pink for my skin tone, not sure if this is true with other shades. The texture is okay but not super fine on a brush. I find that I need to pass my powder brush through 4-5 times to get enough. I personally did not like the way that it set on my makeup base, it looks okay at first but only after a few minutes it starts to look cakey. One positive is that after hours of wear it doesnt really separate but I definitely doesnt stay matte. I am pretty shiny again after 2 hours or so. I also do not like the packaging, it would be better with a hinge compact. Over would I purchase this again? I keep thinking I should switch and try something else with powder, but every time I do, I find the other product is more expensive and doesn't work as well. I have super oily skin and this powder doesn't look cakey, it just covers my pores nicely and reduces shine. It also doesn't settle in fine lines. I would recommend buying a colour over the transparent powder, I use peach glow and that has quite a yellowy undertone, I might try a different colour to better suit my medium Caucasian skin tone. My only problems with this powder are the packaging and the way the powder breaks up when you reach the ridges of the pan. I have never got all the way through one without the packaging breaking and having to use sticky tape to keep it together. I've also learnt that repressing the powder allows you to use it to the end with no problems, I guess the pans aren't pressed very hard maybe?qofb

This is the best mattefying powder I have ever purchased, drugstore or otherwise. I have purchased it several times over since I first discovered it a year ago. The powder is very pressed and dense, so a little goes a long way and it lasts me quite some time (3-4 months of daily use). This face powder is perfect for me. I have oily / combination skin and always use a powder to cover the shine. I use a large brush to apply. It covers with a matt finish and seems to keep the shine at bay for longer than others I have used. It also leaves my skin with a dewy natural finish (not white looking as you might expect with a white powder). I would imagine if your skin was dry to normal it would be too drying. I couldn’t be more happy trying this after seening reviews on YouTube by makeup gurus. At first I thought it would be good and be dry. But it brighten my eyes so quickly. I was over the moon. Usually it crease my lines and then dry in the area of cheeks and forehead. I dislike this when it happens. So now I’ve just started to use a small brush and pat under my concealer. That way it really makes so white which I love and then a soft blush on the cheeks goes so perfect. Using setting powders is a must for me, so when I received this product complimentary in exchange for my thoughts, I was excited to give it a go. It turned out to be both a hit and a miss for me. When first using this, I noticed too much would leave a white cast on my skin, which normally isn't a problem since I am usually more on the light side. However, now that spring is about over and summer is just around the corner, I have started to use my darker foundations again to give myself more colour. If I don't use this with an extremely light hand, the product is noticeable on my face. To go a bit into my skin type: I consider myself to have combination to normal skin. My t-zone area gets a bit oily and has pretty large pores, while the rest of my face is normal. The product worked great to set the normal areas of my face, but in my t-zone, the powder would settle into my pores as the day went on, which is really the only true gripe I have about this product. The lasting time as far as controlling shine was great and the price point is very reasonable, so I would still recommend to anyone with smaller pores and light skin.BesoYT

I’ve been using this powder for years and have repurchased this many times! It’s in my top three favorite setting powders. I love that it’s translucent and blends in well and doesn’t leave a white cast. It does help minimize the appearance of pores but it depends on the size of your pores. Leaves my skin feeling smooth and matte which I like because the matte feeling kind of reassures me that my makeup is set. This product is a little pricey but I would definitely give it a shot. I don't use setting powders often because I have dry skin but when I got a travel size of this product I thought I would try it out. I use a very light hand with this powder in areas where I want to smooth out my pores and it really does the job. One day, I was doing a natural/no makeup makeup look and thought I would just pack this powder all over my eyelids because they are extremely oily just to help to see if it will help with my smudging of mascara and eyeliner and after 8+ hours, NO smudging what so ever!! reminds me of Makeup Forevers HD powder. This powder was another hit for me from elf. It helps hide my imperfections and sits nice on my foundation or alone. Finely ground, and a buttery feel. I used to have this on my MUST HAVES list of my make up routine back when I just started wearing makeup. I would still have it on my list if my fine lines and wrinkles weren't creeping up on me. I have been using this product for quite a few weeks and I noticed that every morning, when I apply it (I only apply a small amount) I keep having wheezing and breathing difficulties, coughing and tight chest. I peeled off the label to see the ingredients and it's made of Talcum Powder which is known to cause cervical cancer for example if you use it on your bikini line for a long period of time. Companies know of the dangers of using Talc and YET they still keep using it, they only care about their profits of course. Ladies, please keep away from Talc!!!!!!! I love this powder. It is so much better for me than blotting papers. I have combination skin, so I have to blot my T-zone because who likes excess oil screwing up their makeup? Blotting papers do mop up excess oil for me, but unfortunately, they take some of my makeup with them, which of course means more touch-ups throughout the day. This powder works SO WELL for me. You don't even need that much at a time, either. I put my primer on and let it dry, then I apply a little bit of this powder on my T-zone, followed by my foundation, concealer, and powder. Then I apply one more layer of blotting powder to my T-zone before my setting spray. My makeup looks fresh ALL DAY, and it does for me exactly what it claims to do. I still have to blot with the powder every now and then, but my T-zone is less oily, and it doesn't mess up my makeup at all when I use it. I have very oily skin and am constantly blotting my face throughout the day. In the past I would use blotting papers but came across Fenty's Blotting Powder and thought I would give it a try. Absolutely love this stuff; it has a light fragrance similar to the Huda Beauty setting spray but for the loose powder, i don’t mind the smell. The product itself is really good, i have bought it a couple of times and purchased for my sister as well. We both love it! I love how there’s multiple shades to choose from depending on your skin tone. I prefer a more yellow undertone for my under eyes rather than pink or neutral so i go with Banana Bread since i am a bit darker (would describe myself as a medium skin tone) but if Banana Bread is out of stock I could go with Blondie too. I used to struggle with creasing under eyes a lot, especially because my eyes get very watery and tend to crease, but if i bake my undereyes with this, i don’t need to worry about that. The only complaint i would have though is the packaging. For the price i would expect better, it’s a bit hard to get the product to come out through the mesh and can get a little messy, I would prefer holes like other loose powder containers have. I’ve never been one to “bake” or set my undereyes with powder. Until I found Huda powder in cherry blossom cake! It’s so buttery, not heavy, and sets your foundation really well. I adore the smell sweet enough. It’s so good for setting undereyes. Gives you that smooth undereye look. What I do is I set my foundation and under eyes with the Huda cherry blossom loose powder, then to add some dewiness back I use a damp BB to apply some Ilia skin tint all over. My holy grail powder was discontinued (Cover FX Matte Setting Powder), so i've been trying other powders. This Huda powder is great in that it gives a airbrushed look minimising pores and fine lines. Oil control isn't as good as my previous powder, but I have incredibly oily skin so this is an issue for me with most powders. If I compare Huda to another powder – Laura Mercier – that tends to be popular – I would say that Laura Mercier has better oil control, however I prefer Huda Powder due to how it looks on my skin – very natural looking, and as I said blurring away imperfections. Laura Mercier in contrast settles into fine lines that I didn't even know I had! And LM looks flat. So I prefer Huda overall because it looks great and natural. Just a shame oil control isn't a little better for oily skins. Maybe she should do two powders, one for oily skins, and one for more normal/dry skins.Sunny

I've tried a sample size of the regular translucent powder by IT Cosmetics and it worked well. I was happy to receive the full sized compact in the Translucent Tan-Rich shade in exchange for my honest review. The compact itself is matte and sleek. It has a mirror on the inside which is opposite of the packed powder. Under the powder, there is a small compartment for the beauty sponge. I find these sponges to be less than ideal and usually use a fluffy brush to apply instead. The shade is a little darker than my skintone and has a redder undertone but it looks okay on my skin. It gives it an airbrushed look and isn't cakey or heavy. It did a decent job blurring my pores and keeping my skin from getting very oily which tends to happen around my t-zone. I may use it to set my contour or bronzer. I plucked sparse hairs on my face and then used the powder to see if it would hide the redness. The redness still peaked through so I would not use it by itself unless you are okay with minor/major imperfections to show through. It would look good over a BB/CC cream or foundation and keep it in place.SRSmith08
This powder is nothing revolutionary. It's fine really & not a bad powder by any means. The way I tried it was I replaced my current powder w/this one & it didn't change anything else (Tarte pore filling primer & PoreFessional setting spray) but the IT powder didn't do anything additional in terms of pore reduction, which is what its supposed to specifically address. But it mattified the skin ok without being chalky or giving a dry appearance. The finish was actually pretty nice, but not better. I didn't like how the enclosed sponge applied powder unevenly, like too much in some spots & I had to go in with either a brush or my fingers to blend it away. This isn't better than my UD All Nighter powder but the All Nighter offers the longevity I need in a powder. It can really hang in there when other powders allow that oil breakthrough to occur hours sooner than the All Nighter. So I get the best pore reduction & makeup longevity when the PoreFessional setting spray is added to the equation – which by the way is worth trying bcz it does reduce appearance of pores. I just wanted to try this powder & again, it's okay. It's fine, & definitely deserves the 3 stars I gave. But because it didn't really lessen pores, I couldn't give it more. I couldn't ever get myself to pull the trigger on paying full price for this because I NEVER hear ANYONE talking about it – which is oftentimes meaningful. It was never a heavily talked about or loved product by the masses to begin with but I was always curious about it anyway bcz I really like the brand as a whole. So I grabbed it on Ultas 21 days of beauty at half price but I ended up returning it. I decided that even at $10, I didn't want to keep it bcz I'd rather repurchase the UD powder instead of keeping something I may never use or don't fully like. HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA BIO-BLURRING LOOSE SETTING POWDER comes in 5 different shades to compliment all skin tones. I received the shade – Translucent that is in a neutral with a balanced undertones and it matched seamlessly with the foundation. I noticed that this product is talc-free and fermented arnica infused powder that helps nourish your skin, while setting makeup with a flawless finish. The formula is lightweight and has no scent at all. It has a soft mattifying finish that allows shine control and long wearing. I noticed on the Sephora website it runs about $38 for a fill weight of 7 g / 0.24 oz. and can be applied with a sponge or brush by gently pressing into the mesh screen to release the power. Removing the excess by tapping it on the side of the container and applying over make up to set it or can be used alone to brighten face. Y’all I was so excited when I got this voxbox sent to me complimentary from influenster. The box came with her 2 newest products: the bio blurring loose setting powder & the triclone skin tech foundation. I loved quite a few things about these products but among my favorites is that these are clinically tested, non-comedogenic & tested by dermatologists & ophthalmologists! So that was great to know because my skin can be extra sensitive at times. A lot of products lay this claim but it turns out not to be true, that is not the case with these! The foundation felt smooth like butter when applied but wasn’t thick at all. It bounced and buffed nicely into my skin & didn’t take a lot to get my desired coverage. The powder felt silky and was very fine. It just melted right in to my skin and didn’t leave a white cast which I was grateful for! I loved how sleek & sophisticated the packaging is. It’s simple yet chic and not at all overdone. I’m not gonna lie I can fall in love with some other the top ka-ute packaging with the best of you but sometimes simple and classy is appreciated. This was one of those times for me. The weight of the foundation bottle felt nice in my hand. I felt like I was getting a taste of luxury pure and simple. Haus Labs has completely surpassed my expectations! This has become my holy grail foindation! The shade range is amazing & the shade that I picked out matches my skin tone perfectly which has only ever happened with one other brand & i've tried hundreds! The finish is satin & VERY skin like! The coverage is medium & buildable! The foundation layers beautifully with cream & powder products. I've worn this product for 8+ hours on combo skin (mainly oily in the T-zone) & it doesn't break up or fade. The powder is like silk on your skin & I apply it several times on my T-zone to freshen things up & it doesnt break up any product. It doesn't look like it just sits on the skin, rather, it almost becomes your skin. It's amazing & truly transluscent. I used the brush to apply the powder as I am not a fan of using brushes to apply foundation. However, it is super soft and dense which makes picking the product up & applying it super easy! I didn't understand the poor reviews, but then I read them and I can understand why people think this is drying, etc. I have excessively oily skin (cannot use any moisturizer, no hair conditioner, etc). This is perfect for people with very oily skin. It creates a fantastic canvas and prolongs makeup wear. I. normally need to "bake" a couple of times in the work day. With this I can actually get away with not baking – I use it in the morning after SPF and before foundation. Make up lasts all day. If I want to go out at night (12 hours later) then I still freshen it up with a little powder , but this is a game changer. Love it. I was so disappointed with this! The original P and P was great: good coverage, consistency, color and pore reduction. I could use it in place of foundation when I didn't need to get all made up. This new one is useless. It's very chalky and stark white and adds no color or coverage whatsoever to my skin as well as doing nothing for my pores. To get any coverage /use at all, I have to use a lot of it and since the new package gives me less product, this is a problem. Too Faced's bottom line benefited from selling less for more, but the consumer was cheated. Since the product didn't do what it was supposed to do, it was even more of a cheat. What a shame. I purchased this setting powder when Black Radiance first announced it and I personally have not used a setting powder before. This powder is a wonderful addition to your makeup collection. The powder is a light yellowish tint, or what they call in the beauty community a banana shade. When you open the container, you are provide with a applicator as you see in the photo posted. The powder is the consistency of All purpose flour *how I would describe it* and has a light scent that you can smell when you first open it or place the container close to your nose. I use this product to set my foundation because of my oily skin. I apply this over my foundation with a large brush, wait about 30 secs then brush off the excess. My only complaint is if you apply too much, you can get an "ashy" or dry look. So start off with a little bit and work your way up.candace.h

I love using this powder for a bright under-eye. It very mattifying, so it is great for oily skin. I would just say not to use too much for darker complexion skin. Zero Sebum is amazing! I love how you don't need much product to help mattify the oil. It comes with a powder puff applicator, but I use a smaller brush to apply. It was much easier doing it this way. The first time I applied the product with the puff, it looked like someone threw baby powder in my face. I can't use matte producing foundations, bb cream, concealer, or regular face powder because I always get cake face regardless of tips n tricks tried. I've not tried this wth makeup so far. But, I love this power is so smooth and silky. It has a cooling feeling on the skin and the slightest minty scent. Its smoothing and matifying on the skin which make it wonderful to wear on its own. I struggle with ouly skin, sometimes I look like an oil slick despite using oil reducing skin care and blotting/powdering. This little pot is amazing. I just wish it came in a bigger pot as I would live to have a big one to take with me.Jesse
