This cleanser is nice and does leave my face feeling clean, but I don't like it as much as my Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil, followed by my rice enzyme powder. I have used this cleanser for the past two weeks and while I adore Lancer's polish and will continue to use it when I need extra exfoliation, I feel that this cleanser is too heavily fragranced for my sensitive, combination skin. It doesn't take off my makeup as well as my Tatcha cleansing steps and my face doesn't feel as cleansed and clean as when i use my two step Tatcha cleansing process. I could see using this while on holiday to have less products to bring with me and it didn't break me out or anything. But if isn't a holy grail product in my experience. I have been using good skincare products for over fifteen years and I have tried a lot over the years. This is definitely a solid product, but it isn't the best on the market. I am an AA man w/ combo/ normal (winter/ fall) and combo/oily (spring/summer) skin. The constant issue for me has been finding a product that cleanses my skin without stripping it. I have tried all the fads. I’ve even tried oil cleansing – which offers quite the paradox. Cleansing oily skin with ‘sounds’ crazy but it actually works quite well (if done in moderation). As this is NOT a daily cleansing system that works for MY skin, I was constantly on the hunt. Then I remembered Aesop which I used many many moons ago. I always loved the clean aesthetic behind their methodology along with using as little, if any, synthetic additives to their products. Now I have been playing around with products over the years so I have a pretty good grasp on what my skin likes/ doesn’t like. When I came across this product, what caught me was the name, ’In Two Minds’. This immediately suggested that there was a ‘variation’ of some sort in this product. A gentle gel-based formulation that cleanses thoroughly without drying the skin or stripping its natural oils. Upon reading it, I saw that TWO essential products that work best for my combo skin are 1) salicylic acid and 2) witch hazel. Then there was the sage component. I knew from my readings that Sage is chock full of antioxidants which can help reverse the signs of aging. It helps with wrinkles and fine lines. The anti-inflammatory properties of sage work wonders against stubborn acne. Other inflammatory skin blemishes, such as eczema and psoriasis, can also benefit from the use of sage. Regarding oily skin, sage is a great toner since it helps regulate sebum production. All this TOGETHER in ONE product had me sold. I had to try this. I am so happy I did. My skin hasn’t looked this good/even since I was much younger (in 20’s/early 30’s). My skin absolutely LOVES this product. The smell is herbaceous and clean. This product does NOT have surfactants in it so it does not ‘lather’ the way a typical cleanser would (which is actually a marketing ploy, btw…), but it is gently getting the job done. I will be adding the toner, next… **User Tip** once applied, leave on face for a few minutes so the salicylic acid can activate and gently slough off dead skin and breakdown oils, before rinsing off. It does not dry my skin and any sign of redness Is gone the day after. I've been using it for years and I am happy with the product. So I have had acne since I was 13 I’m now 23. Teenage acne was different, now I have hormonal acne around my mouth and chin area. I received a little tube of this in a LF beauty box and although it says it's for combination skin and more for younger skins I decided to give it a try on my 50 yr old rosacea-pimpled nose. I have always used rosacea-specific products so was completely BLOWN AWAY by the gentleness and the effectiveness of this product. My inflamed nosed calmed down upon the second or third application! The sample tube was not very big so I treasured it like gold, using it only for flare-ups. I was happily surprised to find that the product is not a quick-fix and that pimples come back once you've stopped using it. They didn't for a long time. Stress, diet, hormones eventually brought them back again and a few days of the serum, they were gone. I use to have a lot of Comedonal acne but after 4-5 days of use, it considerably reduced. The salicylic acid gentle cleanser is perfect for this acne type. I tried so many other products to get rid of this type of acne but did not work. I also visited cosmetologist/ dermatologist but they only prescribed me products for normal acne. I found my skin too dry and sensitive for this foam. After usege, the face becomes cleaner, but extremly dry. Additionaly, since the foam has salicylic acid, it does not go well with creams that have some acids or atypical components. Because of this my skin starts to redden and as a result I had to wash off what I put on my face. But I was able to somehow combine it all and so now everything is fine. Also, after two weeks of use, the skin got a little better and removed some problem areas, but could not cope with my chin – so I will change the foam. So I do not recommend for people with skin type like mine. Instead, my friend who has oily skin, this product is perfect – so it depends.
I've tried many salicylic acid cleansers in the past (hello, teenager years and acne), and most of them have left my skin feeling tight and dry. Not this one. It's so gentle you can use it during the morning and night. I put literally a teeny, tiny dollop, the size of a quarter of your pinky fingernail and it foams soooo much on your face. Granted, I use this on my Foreo Luna cleanser brush and the bubbles and foam is tight and small, but creamy. When I wash it off, my skin feels clean but still moisturized. Would buy this again!!

I came across a magazine ad of Exposed Skincare system when I was on the verge of giving up all hope after using Murad's system for one year without any success, and hearing negative reviews of the over-drying side effects of Proactiv from family and friends. I read the product descriptions and thought why not switch over at a much lower cost and see if its claims are true by trying out the system for a while! Well, that was April 2013 and I've been a devoted Exposed Skincare user for more than four years! This system WORKS!! You must be very diligent using all products in the system (Exposed Expanded Kit ) for a least one year. As time went on in the 6th month mark, I began to notice my skin gradually cleared up from existing acne with very rare new acne formation. By one year time, my face hardly had any acne at all! It is an amazing system and I have very stubborn skin. I've been battling acne since puberty. I am pushing 50 this year and I still have an occasional breakout from time to time. Thankfully, I did not have severe cystic acne, but I tend to breakout on both sides of cheeks with one or two juicy pimples and little zits on chin the T-zone. I purchased this skin care about 6 months ago and have used it ever since. I really appreciated the packaging and instructions/tips that came in the box. It is a great basic cleanser and toner. I also think that the serums cause any breakouts to heal much faster than normal. If I ever neglect to use the cleanser for a couple of days, I can tell in my skin immediately. I didn’t rate 5 stars because both times I have ordered the kit, I’ve run out of cleaner and toner long before either serum but the cleanser is almost as expensive as the entire kit so it is a bit of a nuisance. I wish that the kit came with a larger bottle of cleanser and toner so that they run out around the same time as the serums. I have battled acne for 30 years! Over the years I have tried so many prescription creams on my sensitive skin. I switched from a physical exfoliant (scrub) to this chemical exfoliant (benzoyl peroxide). This product is much more gentle on the skin and still leaves my skin feeling soft right away. Over time, I have noticed much less breakouts/acne with this product! No more harsh scrub tearing up my skin, so it looks even more hydrated and glowy! I have combination skin, I get oily in my T-zone and have small patches of eczema around my eyes and mouth. This product works to break up the acne-causing oil without irritating or drying out my eczema at all! I use it in the shower every few days. I like to work the product into a foam on my hands to activate it, then apply it to my face and neck. I let the benzoyl peroxide sit for a minute so it can really work its magic. I've used the classic CeraVe foaming cleanser/moisturizer/retinol serum/night cream for years. I did a course of strong meds a year and a half ago and it cleared my skin completely. After full-time mask wearing started up again, my acne came back a bit so I decided to try this cleanser after having such good experiences with all their other products. It cleared my skin after only a few days! But be careful – I developed a painful itchy rash around my lips and mouth that took steroids to clear up because of how much this cleanser irritated that area of my face. I've now cut down use from every morning and night to just once every other morning and I avoid my eyes and mouth with it. Great product! Benzoyl peroxide is perfect for hormonal/cystic acne — the red, inflamed, under the surface kind. I had been using salicylic acid for a while and didn’t understand why my acne was not clearing. Until my dermatologist informed me that SA is better for whitehead & blackhead type of acne (which I did not have). 4% benzoyl peroxide is a great amount if you’re just introducing benzoyl peroxide to the skin. I was looking for a gentle cleanser to use at night – I've started applying retinol in my night routines – and I found the Aveeno Foaming Clear Complexion cleanser at Kroger's and decided to give it a try. It is oil and soap free and it has salicylic acid and tone correcting soy in its formula. I have oily and acne prone skin, so the salicylic acid helps a lot. The amount of foam that comes through the pump is perfect to wash my entire face. The fragrance is delicate and refreshing. After rinsing it off, my skin feels soft and super clean, something I wasn't expecting, to be honest. I've used another foaming cleanser that didn't make me feel like my skin was 100% clean. One thing that is important to mention is that before the cleanser, I always use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup and sunscreen and I wasn't sure if this one would totally remove what's left of it. Foam cleansers are more drying compared to other forms. The additional salicylic acid (SA) can further irritate dry skin. If you require a potent cleanser, this would be it. But it can have very negative effects if the formula doesn’t agree with your skin. I have combination skin and periodic cases of acne. One time, I had varying types of stubborn facial acne, so my dermatologist recommended to start with this cleanser. I used it every night, then used a light moisturizer. I also wore/wear SPF 50+ sunscreen regularly. The first few days, my skin flaked a little, but that was normal when trying a new acne cleanser. But after a week, my skin was red and peeling, and blisters suddenly formed on my chin. I went a few weeks without washing my face entirely, due to the pain. I opted to use a gentle face wipe, as well as slathering heavy moisturizers and Vaseline all day. I had not used any type of acne products in months prior, so I do not suspect any residual reactions. I had tried many products with SA in the past, including the Neutrogena SA cleanser in both gel and liquid form. There is always some irritation, especially when my skin is adjusting to a new product, but it was never so severe. (I only use acne-focused cleansers as necessary, and prefer hydrating cleansers that are eye-safe). Personally, I suspect that the combination of foam cleanser+SA was too drying for my combo skin. Even with oily skin, I do not recommend using this on a daily basis. And when you do use such a drying product, always pair with a good moisturizer and excellent sun protection! (It will also help you realize if the cleanser itself is to blame for any reactions, instead of sun damage or dry skin). 3 stars because the negative reactions were so harsh, but I was still able to use the rest of the bottle for my body acne, and it was surprisingly effective and non-irritating. A very risky trial-and-error.
I have been struggling with acne on and off and even more recently during the pandemic maybe because of the masks. I normally don't have makeup on when I use a mask but if I do it's just for a brief few minutes. I have been getting a lot of acne on my jaws, cheeks and temples, even on my forehead now. I have had a pretty good skincare routine yet I still break out. Years ago I used to use this as a teen and my skin was smooth and plump even tho I would get huge pimples here and there I think my skin looked pretty good back then. This product is definitely not a one size fits all! It claims to be exfoliating with antioxidant benefits to help smooth rough skin. It contains salicylic acid, an exfoliant that aids in helping clear acne. It has zero fragrance, especially helpful for those who have sensitive skin. It also claims to be gentle on the skin which I can definitely disagree with. After using this cleanser, i’ve noticed my skin is very dry and feels tight, I RUN to my moisturizer when I am done with this product. My advice would definitely be to let your skin get used to the cleanser. I would advise using 2-3 a week and using a hydrating cleanser in between washes, letting your skin accumulate to the wash. I have extremely acne prone skin and I have noticed the redness of my acne has gone down a bit but I haven’t used it long enough to see if it does anything to help with calming down how much I break out. This cleanser has been a godsend for my dry, combination skin. I have areas of flakey dry spots then areas of more buildup and blackheads around my nose and chin, and neck. It’s gentle enough to use 3 times a day or as much as you wash your face and I wash mine a lot. This cleanser goes on great and foams up quite easily. As you're cleansing it feels really nice, refreshing and effective. As someone with normal skin who probably leans slightly to the dry side of things, I did find this to be mildly stripping on some parts of my face, but wouldn't go so far as to say it was fully drying. Knowing that this is meant for normal to oily skin, it's not something I would've picked up for myself but I did get a sample size of it so of course had to try it out. It was good enough to finish the sample (about 3 uses) but not for my skin type to consider purchasing. I'd recommend it for oily skin types only.Bernie

I remember at the age of 18 years old, I purchased a bottle with my hard earned money because I heard so many great things about this product. At the time, I didn't see very much difference in my skin when using this– very gimmicky, but it was a great alternative to use as a toner when I didn't have any. SK-II, let’s talk about it. So I just got the trial size, and so far I have noticed a big difference in skin texture and the fungal acne (or little bumps that wouldn’t every go away on forehead). I think the brightening was due to a vitamin C serum (from Sephora) I started. I have combo to dry skin, which I just figured out. Honestly makes a huge difference now that I’m moisturizing way more. So anyway, that’s what I’ve noticed over a few days, but that could change. It is a very watery formula, but the product comes out in droplets so you typically aren’t wasting. I just drop a few droplets on my hand, spread out on hand, and then dab into my skin. To me, it doesn’t smell and isn’t sticky or anything. Again, to me, it feels like nothing on my face. I use it pm and am, and I’ve barely made a dent in the trial size. Is it worth 235? Not unless you makin big bank. But I’ve had no adverse effects, and I really think it’s made a difference. This review is for SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) which was tested as part of a regimen sent complimentary from Influenster and SK-II for testing purposes. It’s difficult to distinguish the effects of the individual products used as part of the regimen, I’ve included an overall review for the regimen, and a review about specifics of the individual product in each product review on Influenster. I would do the same here, but for character limits. The regimen included: Facial Treatment Cleanser, Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence), and SKINPOWER Cream, applied in that order. Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence): 5/5 My impression of the Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) is very positive. I will start by mentioning that it had quite a strong smell, reminiscent of Sake, but for some reason it doesn’t come off to me as something that would irritate people who are scent sensitive (for allergy purposes. If you’re scent sensitive for purposes such as migraine triggers, it’s still a no, but I get migraines and it didn’t happen to trigger me, for whatever that’s worth to you). This product is definitely moisturizing and softening, but I’m also quite certain that this is responsible for much of the dewiness and brightening I get from this regimen. I do not have the problem with this product bottle that I have with the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, as even though I still apply with my hands, I only get about a drop out at a time when I invert the bottle, which is what I want to prevent waste. If I had to order all the products in this regimen from most to least favourite, this would be at the top. It’s clearly the secret sauce of this regimen and makes the biggest difference. I've been using this product for 2 years, sometimes 3x a week, sometimes 1x a month depending on where my skin's at and it's the only product that makes a difference for my sebum problem. I produce excess sebum, get a little greasy, and often have bumps around my mouth and chin and some hormonal acne. Sometimes the sebum bumps are hard for me to deal with because they just sit in my face until I pick them out or maybe after months they finally dissipate. As a picker trying to break the habit this mask helps me to reduce the sebum, prevent it from building up, and as an emergency mask to immediately dial back the redness and damage after a pick session. I’ve been using this for 4 weeks as a first time user this was my intro to the brand. This is a good starting point and will allow me to navigate the rest of their range with some insight. First of all the tubes are small but they do last a month. I have combi skin. My skin seems brighter and clearer, dark under eye circles seem improved (to me). Skin feels clean and good after each use no irritation, no scent. I have had many compliments. You notice the difference quickly. I’ve used the face wash once a day at night, I wash with just water in the morning. I used the serum and face cream both morning and night. I noticed some dry patches on my cheeks and flaky skin on my nose so I’ve switched to serum at night only to see if it helps and it’s does. This had 3 products and 2/3 worked well for us. The only product that was super disappointing was the cleanser…. It did NOTHING for me. I had tried the Cetaphil cleanser before and you just get more product and better quality from them. Besides that the other products worked perfectly. I will probably buy the other products in a larger amount. This is good if you want to test out the brand and see what you like and if you want to continue to continue using it. Great set – all 3 pair well together! I love the cleanser – it's my go-to first cleanse at night. I recently got into the HA serum. When in rotation (I don't use everyday), I use it at night and wake up looking super plump! It can pill, or roll, on the skin, so I don't use it in the day (as I don't want stuff peeling off my face! or it to negatively impact my suncreen application). Love the moisturizer. I have oily, reactive skin (I'm that friend who gives you all their products that caused a reaction after one try, but work wonders for you) and this never causes redness, breakouts or anything negative. I have been using this product for a week now and my skin has never been better. I use this product with their vitamin c serum and hyaluronic acid moisturizer. The results are amazing. This products has really helped me in clearing up my skin! I suffer from congested oily skin; I have a lot of blackheads, enlarged pores, and stubborn whiteheads. I literally have tried everything to help my skin but after 6 years I have found the right product for me. However, if you have never tried any BHA products on your skin try to introduce it slowly. This does make my face red when I apply it and can sting just a bit. Nevertheless, it goes down in a second and my skin starts to glow.
My skin was breaking out in painful cystic acne and my usual remedies were not doing my skin justice. I went on the Naturium website and completed the “routine builder” and came across this product along with others to have a full routine. Since mask wearing, I notice I’m breaking out… I recently got two new promotions at work (not blaming the mask, part of it could be stress) but I hate to have to spend my morning trying to conceal blemishes so I look put together on the million zoom calls I am taking meeting new people. I saw this months ago and considered buying this, I finally bit the bullet and this came in yesterday. I can only give my review on the basis of using it once… charging for 12 hours was the hardest part! Using the tool was not difficult, I did watch a couple video reviews of the product to watch it in use prior to using it myself. I steamed my face with some warm towels, next time I will do this immediately after a shower. I have sensitive skin and this did not bother me at all while using, maybe a little stingy feeling afterwards. After running tool over my face I used a toner and a moisturizer… immediately it felt so smooth and my pores appeared smaller (cleaner). Now bare with me, as I explain the difference between Spa Sciences microdermabrasion $30 & PMD $171.
PMD:
-cons: expensive
-pros: has different microdermabrasion discs sizes and microdermabrasion textures from sensitive to rough (depending on skin sensitivity level)
Discs rotate around skin and suction sucks up all the dead skin with no residue left.
Spa Sciences:
-cons: only 1 microdermabrasion disc that does not rotate on machine and skin. (So you have to move it around the skin to get somewhat benefits).
Suction does not pick up all the dead skin cells. That you have lots of dead skin sitting on face. And the other suction tops don’t pick up much dead skin either. It’s like the suction is on low while you set the machine on high.
Cleaning is a hassle, cause you have to change the filters and tops from clogged dead skin cells as much as the machine could pick up.
Now, the reason I give this product 3 stars is because since I have sensitive face myself. All I can say is, it’s better than nothing. I may not gotten the full professional benefit as PMD, but this machine is handy just to scrape off dry skin what it can with no harsh damage.banana A
I expected this pore vacuum to suck out even the smallest of pores. I have very small pores so when they get clogged it’s not easy to remove the clog. I thought this vacuum was going to remove that but it doesn’t. It just removes dry dead skin on the surface. If you want to actually unclog your pores you’re better off with a metal extractor tool that actually applies the pressure to the blemish and pushes it out. This is the first time I've ever had a HOLY GRAIL skin product. I was originally using Paula's choice bha exfoliant and wasn't really seeing any results. But with this one, WOAH! It doesn't go on oily like Paula's choice, and it also have glycolic acid and lactic acid for extra exfoliating power. BE CAREFUL! When I first started using this I was so happy with my results I was using it every day and it caused my skin to become over exfoliated, super shiny, and destroyed my skin barrier. I took a month break and now I only use it twice a week, with at least three days in between each use. My skin haven't looked this great in over a year. Even though I no longer use the Paula's choice liquid exfoliant I still use the PC oil reducing cleanser which pairs great with this. Nice light formula. I was looking for an alternative to Paula’s Choice 2% BHA for pore maintenance and I think I found it. This toner seems to do the job and has a clean finish. It doesn’t leave the oily residue which I didn’t like with the Paula’s Choice. Perfect for the daytime routine as it gives me a clean slate for the rest of my regiment and doesn’t interfere with makeup. I am so happy with this toner. I have now been using it for two days and in only those two days I have seen a difference and the only new products added to my skincare routine have been this toner and the moisturizer that is also available. I use a cleanser by another brand that contains salicylic acid but since using the toner and moisturizer I have seen the biggest improvements. My dark spots are fading each day, this has become an insecurity of mine as a recent whitehead breakout turned pimples left a dark mark on the side of my chin and ever since using the toner, the mark has lessened in colour significantly. I’ve been using it the 3 times daily and haven’t experienced any dryness, I use the moisturizer right after and that sinks in so quickly but hydrates my skin as much as it needs. Greasy and thick moisturizers just irritate my acne prone skin and usually lead to a breakout or redness. First off, I have medium skin color, and combination skin type. I rarely suffer from breakouts and this time around I had a bad one so I decided to try different facial cleanser that were specific from acne. I came across Versed and decided to try after good reviews on YouTube and of course their website. All I can say is WOW! I have only used it a little over a week and my results are phenomenal! At first i was a little nervous for it because it was making my breakout area really try but I was constantly putting on moisturizer throughout the day, along with toner and night serum daily. As a beauty content creator, educator, and skincare/wellness expert that have battled with acne and blemishes for most of my life, I have tried every remedy for pores, and even made homemade facial products. I tried prescription and Proactiv+, too. However, the Proactiv+ products worked the best for clearing up my skin the best as it had salicylic acid started to over dry my skin making it peel due to the cleanser and cream having benzoyl peroxide. So, I had to stop using it and it was getting pricey, too! However, my skin is not that covered with pores but having an oily T-zone, and wear masks, I still get those pesky bumps. Recently, one popped out of nowhere on my jawline, so this product couldn’t have arrived at the perfect timing. I wash with it right when I get up in the morning and night. Also, it works great as a spot treatment, too! As I was having a few breakouts, after cleaning, serum, moisturizer, I will put a few daps of the product for an overnight treatment, and I wake up with the pores less red and inflamed. I like the creamy blue texture (thanks to the blue tansy) and there is no harsh scent, like most acne treatment cleanser has that medicine smell. Finally found the perfect cleanser for my face and skin type. I've already noticed a huge difference in overall oil reduction, texture, and clogged pores, so I'm pleased. I have combo oily/dry skin on my face, so some areas over produce oil and some areas are drier than a desert. But a couple of things I noticed about this cleanser is it works really well to unclog the oily areas and keep them moisturized a bit. After about 4 days, I did notice the salicylic acid starting to work and my face was flaking off, but that's what it's supposed to do. So I added some Jergens Ultra Healing lotion to my routine and WOW it's effective. The dry parts of my face are moist, the oily parts are moist but not oily. Would recommend.Luftherz
I have been dealing with constant breakouts for years, since middle school, and I’m 22 now. I just started using this face wash in May 2022 and it has been a life saver. I received the CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser for reviewing purposes. I have combination skin nose and chin very oily, forehead is super dry rest of face is normal. I also get hormonal acne. With all that said I find this product actually whole line really great. I have only been using for about 3 weeks so I am just over the purging stage but I am seeing my pores getting smaller also not having as much redness. This was my go to for quite some time. The charcoal works so well to clear up any acne or pimples and to prevent them. It’s not harsh or over drying. My skin is on the sensitive side and can get dried out rally easily. The bottle and pump is one kid those small but great features that often gets overlooked. It cuts out this little bit of time and frustration that may have made you reach your limit. Just a simple little minor thing that helps start your day off on the right foot. It really helps clear any acne I get, if you have sensitive skin I would avoid this and find something free of parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances and other harsh chemicals as well as menthol, menthol can cause some peoples face to turn beet red. Fortunately that stuff doesnt bother me and this is the only acne treatment that has actually helped me. I would caution however not to use it every day, that can cause excessive dryness, which you dont want. Even oily skin needs hydration. Good luck people.David
I like it. I have blackhead/big pores and prone to acne. So i was specifically trying to find a product that would help. This does, my face feels clean! I've used things that made your face feel… too clean? Like made you skin feel toght? Or like there was a film on it still. Not this. It also leaves a cool sensation which i love in the mornings!Zo93

This new formulation is TERRIBLE!!! The smell and texture are gross in my opinion. The former blue herbal gel cleanser was my holy grail product that my husband and I had been using for over 7 years. It would effectively remove debris, oil and makeup and kept my face fresh, healthy and clean. I have attempted to find a replacement and tried 7-8 cleansers from Kiehls and other brands and there is nothing that will suffice or is as effective as the old blue herbal gel cleanser. If I knew this was being discontinued I would have purchased all the remaining stock from my local Kiehls store. This item should have a lower rating as the positive reviews in 2016 or older, which are listed here, are for the old formulation; as such, the 3.5 heart rating is inaccurate. I'm actually quite disappointed that I attempted to write multiple reviews (4) and express how this cleanser affected my skin. I kept on getting denied and asked to edit my description of its effects before it was actually posted. I am being honest and I don't think it's appropriate that customers have to edit their truth about a product. Please listen to the majority of the feedback and bring the old blue herbal gel formulation back!!!Fran81
To start I just wanna say that this has twice the salicylic acid more than other acne cleaners.. If you don’t already use products salicylic acid then you should take it easy cause this will dry your skin out cause it’s two times more than regular cheaper products… Now for my personal experience I am always looking for a new face cleanser that also fights acne. I want to have all the good products on my shelf lol.. Anyways this stuff does an amazing job. I only have to wash my face once and at night and the next morning any redness and inflammation on the pimples is gone. Even the deep knot like pimples are reduced or gone the next day with this face wash. It’s strong but it’s soo good. It’s got citric acid, coconut 🥥 acid, salicylic acid, menthol, witch hazel, Ginger root, and Frankincense. This is the super hero acne killer!!! My face has been super clear for weeks! Not even a single blackhead!✨✨ It’s also important that you make sure to moisturize after using this!! Even if your used to higher percentages of salicylic this has other ingredients that did not come to play and will dry you even if your not sensitive skin or super oily person.rachelle.l
I LOVED the blue herbal gel cleanser—I really thought I would use it for the rest of my life. It was perfect—awesome feel, smell, and it worked! Then, without warning customers or explaining why, Kiehl’s did away with what they had always called their “venerable” preparation. Why?? I cannot understand why a company would eliminate such a great and useful product from its line. But, worse, they pretty much lied by keeping the blue herbal name. First, it’s not blue. Not that I care about the color, but it seems ridiculous to keep calling it blue. And it’s not the old formula with a different color. It doesn’t feel or smell like the old stuff. In fact, it smells terrible and I rinsed my face several times to get the smell off. My face also feels drier and less refreshed than it did with the actual blue cleanser. I have been a faithful and very happy Kiehl’s customer for 22 years, but I am deeply disappointed that a company I used to revere would attempt to trick customers into accepting a new and inferior product by slapping a known name on it. And having staff lie about it when selling it to long-time customers as the same thing (I actually got the woman who was helping me to admit eventually that she had stockpiled the old stuff). I am very sad that I will have to look elsewhere for a new cleanser. And I doubt I’ll ever find one as good as old blue. Kiehl’s, if you decide to bring it back in whatever color of the rainbow, but with the same ingredients, consistency and smell, I will come running back and all will be forgiven.
