She put the cartridge in and "primed it" and all you need is a couple pumps to do your face and neck! 3 days and my face feels amazing and soft and glowing! It lasts a long time until the next day! first of all, very cool concept! i love the idea of customizing your moisturizing base AND your actives. i'm currently using the blue clearing jelly with the orange anti-fatigue cartridge. i do have combo oily skin that's prone to breakouts, but i didn't want anything too harsh that might damage my skin barrier-so, i went with the moisturizing base that contains a little bit of salicylic acid instead of the active cartridge full of it, and combined that base with an anti-fatigue active to combat any dullness and puffiness especially around my eyes lately. life has been stressful! luckily, this seems to be doing the trick. i don't see super visible results after two weeks of use-my skin is not 100% transformed with zero concerns-but it does look more even and i do look more dewy and awake during the day (in a good way). i was honestly really excited to try a hydrating jelly instead of the usual lotion or even gel, and i love it! i'm sure it's partially the novelty, but i find the texture to be extremely interesting. it does absorb quickly for me and i haven't noticed any tackiness once it soaks in. i use this (three pumps, i like to be hydrated) in the AM so that it can work throughout my day, and in the PM i go more protective/hydrating with the moisture surge gel. after i let this absorb, i typically use a tinted physical (usually) or hybrid (occasionally) sunscreen, and i haven't noticed any problems with pilling or uneven product distribution. i'm a big fan and i've already reordered another set just to make sure i won't be without it when i use it up since most cartridges are currently sold out!jb
This product is not marketed for acne and dark circles, but here is my story. Clinique discontinued the acne solution moisturizer a long time ago. Since then I wasn't able to find the replacement for my combination, acne prone skin. I tried acne clearing gel they recommended. It dried up my skin. The gel moisturizer is a good one but not enough to tame my adult acne. The consultant I chatted with, recommended the blue cartridge, based on the picture that I sent and my big pores problem. I spent the whole jar without significant improvement. Instead, it was just a waste of money since Clinique ID is more expensive than just the gel moisturizer. I tried non-Clinique products with no significant result. Then I read an independent blog review about all Clinique ID cartridges. It is said the best value is the orange cartridge, because it actually contains ingredients in other cartridges too, but just marketed as "anti-fatigue". So I looked at the reviews at Clinique.com. It DOES have the highest rating. One of them even said it improves under-eyes dark circles! I also have problems with dark circles and none of the "All about eyes" or "even better eyes" works. So I tried this orange cartridge. It DOES significantly tame my acne. I occasionally have hormonal adult acne mostly on the chin, but with the orange cartridge, it seems that they get flatten and heal faster. And my whole face is more glowing than usual. I took a before-after picture that made it look like I applied the "Face app".. with my after face is more glowing like Korean drama actress. I was curious, then I researched about the active ingredient "taurine" in this orange cartridge. It is supposed to improve CIRCULATION. I guess that makes sense, why it helps my acne heal faster, and improves the dark circles. Most of the time, dark circles are caused by poor circulation. First the packaging is very cathy because of the light blue boxing and labels. This is a different type of drops bottle that I've seen before. Very wide enough for more product. And made of glass. I didn't expect this to work, I've never tried vitamin C on my face due to trying actual at home remedies with lemon and lime that burned when I was younger. I expected this irritate me. And due to the nature of my skin around my mouth which is sensitive there are days it does irritate me. But it works, after several weeks I notice improvement with texture and tone of my skin. The darkness around my mouth is a bit lighter, and less noticeable, I only use it around my mouth area when its not irritated or dry. This serum is fading some stubborn acne scars and sunspots as I write this. So as long as it doesn't burn you, just continue to have patience with it. I am a black girl in my mid 20s with ultra sensitive skin. I suffered from acne since I was 13 and I'm also a picker so dark spot on my face was inevitable. Lastly I live in a north houston suburb and don't like makeup so my dark spots have always been exposed to the sun which worsened my condition. My increase of bakuchiol was, using the treatment by itself the first week, add 4 full dropper of BYBI and use the treatment until it is half-full, then add 4 more full dropper of BYBI. The good side of the new mixture is it worked faster and it was burning my skin. The bag side is I would breakout if I go out without my sunscreen, so it was important to include an acne treatment as well. My advice to those with the same issue as me is to use bakuchiol booster with your second bottle, have a good moisturizer with vitamin c, always wear sunscreen and use an acne treatment if you forget to put your sunscreen that day. As for me, it took 5 bottles, 6 months and a consistent routine to get the results I have (I'm sorry but I don't have the before and after pictures). It does work slowly but because it is a milder formulation. I have tried others from other brands and they are strong enough but make you breakout while using. I really love this dark spot corrector for several reasons. A little bit goes a long way. It has a lovely fragrance. It has a really nice feel and isn’t greasy at all. Sometimes when I wear a product in addition to a moisturizer, I wind up feeling that there’s a lot of stuff on my face, but this product is not like that. I remember at the age of 18 years old, I purchased a bottle with my hard earned money because I heard so many great things about this product. At the time, I didn't see very much difference in my skin when using this– very gimmicky, but it was a great alternative to use as a toner when I didn't have any. I stopped using after a year and purchased a bottle maybe every other year to help my skin from not getting to use to the product. Now after 10 years, I can honestly say this is one of those skincare products that I have never replaced and is always consistent in my skincare routine. It leaves my skin plumped, bouncy, and youthful. It quickly sinks into the skin fast, locks in moisture, and a great prep for my other skincare. I don't use this as a toner but as an essence like it is meant to be (after toner). I noticed a difference in my skin when I don't use this, I can't really explain it, but something you must experience. Though now, I am 28 years old, people think I look 20 years old and I think its based off of me using this essence for years. SK-II, let’s talk about it. So I just got the trial size, and so far I have noticed a big difference in skin texture and the fungal acne (or little bumps that wouldn’t every go away on forehead). I think the brightening was due to a vitamin C serum (from Sephora) I started. I have combo to dry skin, which I just figured out. Honestly makes a huge difference now that I’m moisturizing way more. So anyway, that’s what I’ve noticed over a few days, but that could change. It is a very watery formula, but the product comes out in droplets so you typically aren’t wasting. I just drop a few droplets on my hand, spread out on hand, and then dab into my skin. To me, it doesn’t smell and isn’t sticky or anything. Again, to me, it feels like nothing on my face. I use it pm and am, and I’ve barely made a dent in the trial size. Is it worth 235? Not unless you makin big bank. But I’ve had no adverse effects, and I really think it’s made a difference. This review is for SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) which was tested as part of a regimen sent complimentary from Influenster and SK-II for testing purposes. It’s difficult to distinguish the effects of the individual products used as part of the regimen, I’ve included an overall review for the regimen, and a review about specifics of the individual product in each product review on Influenster. I would do the same here, but for character limits. The regimen included: Facial Treatment Cleanser, Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence), and SKINPOWER Cream, applied in that order. Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence): 5/5 My impression of the Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) is very positive. I will start by mentioning that it had quite a strong smell, reminiscent of Sake, but for some reason it doesn’t come off to me as something that would irritate people who are scent sensitive (for allergy purposes. If you’re scent sensitive for purposes such as migraine triggers, it’s still a no, but I get migraines and it didn’t happen to trigger me, for whatever that’s worth to you). This product is definitely moisturizing and softening, but I’m also quite certain that this is responsible for much of the dewiness and brightening I get from this regimen. I do not have the problem with this product bottle that I have with the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, as even though I still apply with my hands, I only get about a drop out at a time when I invert the bottle, which is what I want to prevent waste. If I had to order all the products in this regimen from most to least favourite, this would be at the top. It’s clearly the secret sauce of this regimen and makes the biggest difference. I have had troubles with acne all through out my teens I am now coming up on age 23 and I while I have finally gotten my acne under control for 99.9% of the time I was a picker so I am left with a good amount of acne scars along my cheek bones and chin, rough texture and uneven skin tone. I have tried millions of face washes and some made my face worse and some did nothing. I even tried proactive and murad most recently. I gave murad a try for two months. Spend way over 100 bucks on four products and while I seen an improvement it was nothing compared to this stuff. I decided 100 bucks was way to much and tossed the murad. Picked up aveeno even complexion face wash and daily moisturizer and they were amazing. They help a great deal. But then I bought this less then a week ago and my face is almost completely scar free!!!! I am amazed and in love with this. I agree with other reviewers the packaging isn't the best but I still don't have trouble getting it out yet and it works wonders. I don't even have to use concealer anymore on the red blotches! I am so so so happy I tried this and it will never stop using it. I have terribly oily skin as well and when using this as my morning moisturizer, which for a serum does very well, it actually makes my face less oily and shiny at the end of the day!! Seriously, people who complain about the smell and effectiveness of this makes me wonder if they know anything about ingredients. This has glycolic acid in it which has typically has a smell if fragrance isn't added to hide it and also is pretty crazy great at chemically exfoliating if you don't want something that will NOT get absorbed into your skin and is safe during pregnancy unlike retinol or salicylic acid. It's like complaining about the smell of apple cider vinegar but wanting all the benefits of it…Mind you, I understand if people might not react well to glycolic acid or other ingredients in this essence and therefore have poor/little results because it's not strong enough or get too dried out if they aren't moisturizing after. The amazing thing about this stuff is that I can use it everyday. Glycolic acid usually burns my face off (hello, yeah you ordinary glycolic acid toner. I love you but you toooo strong) so I can't use it everyday or even every week…but it's the ONLY thing that keeps my Keratosis Pilaris and whiteheads in check. Enter this. It feels like splashing water on my face, not acid. That's a good thing for a super sensitive gal. I always feel a huge difference if I stop using this for a little bit after using it regularly. When I use it my skin is clear and bump free. When I don't I start feeling congested and looking like I need a facial scrub. This bottle is huge and lasts a while. Love the Vinoperfect Caudalie products! I have suns spots for some years now, but I didn't realize they were sunspots since very recently, because they were a pale shade of pink but they darkened to a brownish color after unprotected sun exposure (I know). I've started with the glycolic peel mask, following but the radiance serum days after, and finally the glycolic toner. Well, it's been three weeks and I can say they have brightened considerably, no foundation for this gal and it's a good thing since I upped my solar protection game. I have to say that I panicked a bit because at first, they darkened, but it's the normal process of cellular turnover to bring the old cell to the surface to be discarded, so no worry! I'm a POC who gets hyperpigmentation almost anytime I have a significant breakout. I haven't seen results from niacinamide in the past, but I'd tried and liked a few FAB products, so I gave this a try when it popped up as an option for my Ipsy bag. Some spots that would normally take months to fade have noticeably diminished in just a few weeks of use twice daily (and I'm not someone who does a great job of remembering every time, either). I purchased this because I had some dark acne scars and I was hoping that it would help to heal my post breakout skin. It has worked wonders! It has been almost a month and I’ve seen a significant improvement. I love that it is really healing and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Been using this for about 1 month now, and I can say it has improved my hyper pigmentation and some sun spots, but just barely. I've seen some improvement, but nothing major. Niacinamide and Licorice Root are the two star ingredients here, and I think with continued use, you might see some results. My beef with this product is mostly with the packaging and the amount of product. The dropper just isn't great. When you first start using it, there's enough product in there for the dropper, but once you use more of it, it becomes harder to suction the product. The next thing is the lid. Everytime you place the dropper back, product is caught in the small opening and gets oozzed on the side. It goes to waste when there's already little of this product to being with. I've been scooping the dropper before I place it back, but sometimes I wonder if I'm contaminating the dropper. Overall, decent formulation, horrible packaging. I’ve been a melasma sufferer for years, along with freckles and years of sun damage. When I got my Influenster Vox Box with the Glycolic B5 Serum by LA Roche- Posay, I pulled it out and looked it up immediately. This product is formulated with a triple acid complex, containing 10% Glycolic Acid, Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Vitamin B5 and LA Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water. I recommend looking at these active ingredients information before use with all skincare. The benefit claims are for visible dark spots, age spots, discoloration and uneven skin tone. I have been using this product for a week and I do notice my skin filling soft and smooth and a spot on my cheek I sometime have issues with is dissipating. So far no adverse effects can be noticed. I will continue using to see if I notice any more potential positive changes. I recommend use if you have any dark spots or discoloration on your face. I do like Omorovicza products but they are expensive and reserved for a treat. This serum is lovely, it's milky white with a smooth texture and is easily absorbed by the skin. I use it day and night and it does bring a glow to my skin. I sometimes mix is with a moisturiser and the effect is still good. I had slight skin pigmentation and it is lessening. This is definitely one to buy when there's a price drop!anna2606

I had been buying the UFO oil for a few years and while I liked how it felt on my skin, I didn't notice a huge difference. My mom let me try her Good Genes one time and I loved the instant plumping effect and dewy finish. I ended up splurging on my own bottle and so far it's definitely been worth it. I have ridiculously finicky skin that breaks out if the wind blows the wrong way but I haven't had any issues with this product (or any Sunday Riley products for that matter). I've been using Good Genes for a few months now and it seems to have helped even my skin tone. I'm 22 so I bought it to just generally improve the appearance of my skin, but my mom really likes using it in combination with a retinol for wrinkles. The main thing I love is that immediate improvement you can see– the day after using it, my skin is always bouncy and glowing. I use it a few times a week, and I don't need too much to cover my face and neck, so I think the bottle will probably last me a while. Either way, I think it's worth it. The reviews are true. This is amazing stuff. It helps to keep my complexion nice, free and clear of zits. But you definitely need to do a double cleanse before applying oils and serums, and layering this on top. It has a bit of a strong smell with thick consistency, and definitely stings until you get used to it. I was unsure but it took about 10 days for me to start seeing results. This is definitely something that sensitive skin folks will have to build up to, I used to use it every other day as part of my nighttime skin care routine. Now I use it every day, morning and night. It sloughs dead skin cells off very gently, and works really well under moisturizer. My skin looks fresher, younger, and my acne seems to be more under control. I have several different sizes of it, including the super jumbo size that I bought during a holiday sale at Macy’s.rosie.k
When I discovered this line and this product years ago I was hooked. Good genes was exactly what the doctor ordered when it came to my skin. It was lovely and worked so well. Skin was dewy, brighter, hydrated and my skin looked better and better. Makeup set perfectly on top of it. I could tolerate it from the first smear. I showed it daily and stocked up during sales. NOT THE NEW FORMULA. I don't know what changed exactly. But first wear with this new formula and I broke out with cystic acne. Yes I know that hormones etc can cause cyclic cystic acne. But this was from the product. I even continued to use it with the same results. Then I even tried it as a mask with the clay cleanser thinking my skin somehow became too sensitive for good genes. Well the same acne came around again!. so disappointed… That's around the time when I realized they changed the product formula. I have to say the reviews surprised me. I've been using this serum with my routine for 3 weeks now and can only say good things. My skin is very dry and dehydrated. I'm in my 40s with some old sun damage and fine lines and my goal was to help heal my pregnancy melasma and help texture and lines. I use a korean essense first, followed by this niacinamide serum, vitamin c serum, a moisturizing ceramide toner and a moisturizing sunscreen every day and use a peptide-cerimide mousurizer unstead of sunscreen at night. The only thing I changed 3 weeks ago was switching out my old hyaluronic acid serum for this product. My skin is glowing. Im noticing a slow decrease in the extra texture and "patchiness" and keep getting complimented by friends who see it too. I saw a change after my 2nd time.
I layer a lot of products, although I mist between layers to help it soak in. Im my case I need all that moisture, and for my dry middle aged skin this has been great. Reading the reviews though I wont be trying it on my boyfriend who has rosacea… Eek!Tara Klang

I too have fallen for the Niacinamide fad that had happened on Insta and have tried my share of different Niacinamide serums. The @naturium serum is by far my favorite stand alone Niacinamide product. It checks off everything in the box, high percentage, formulated with Zinc, works well with layering. It shows a visible difference in my skin when used consistently. The other ingredients include, Propanediol, Glycerin, Zinc PCA, Vitamin E, by and Sodium Hyaluronate. Zinc is supposedly an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regulates oil. It also shows to protect and aid in wound healing and regeneration. This is why Zinc Oxide is so often found in high performing sunscreens, as it can reflect the sun and it creates a barrier between the skin and any damaging UV rays. The serum feels hydrating, non-sticky, and has very light creamy/gel texture. The serum absorbs into the skin nicely and helps reduce some of my dark spots and provides a nice glow. I honestly have yet to see any results. I do like the applicator bottle, it's unique and allows me to shake a bit directly onto the skin. I do like that this serum has some good key ingredients like glycolic acid, tranexamic acid, and niacinamide. Because of those key ingredients I believe my skin is still benefiting from my continued use of this Vichy serum. It does have some good claims like fade dark spots which I do have, reduce the look of wrinkles which I also have, and even skin tone out which I can benefit from. I don't know if this is a serum that will take awhile before seeing any or some results. I don't like that the serum stays tacky on my face, so I just wait a few minutes and apply the moisturizer over it and then of course I don't feel the tackiness after that. I will continue to use it because of the key ingredients, but I am hoping to see results in a few more months. I've been using it for about a month and a half. I've been using the Vichy LiftActiv B3 Serum everyday for 3 weeks now. I started off using twice a day as per the directions on the bottle but I felt like the more sensitive areas on my face was drying out. I used it once a day after that and had no more problems with drying skin. I like that the serum is more liquidlike and not sticky. It's closer to the consistency of water which I like because it doesn't feel sticky on my face like other serums. It gets absorb into my skin quickly and feels like I have nothing on my face which I like. It has a very slight chemical smell but I don't mind. As far as effectiveness, I've definitely noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. My pores are not as visible which makes my face look smoother. I've also noticed the dark spots of my face due to acne blemishes are looking more red than the dark brown color they were before so they are fading. Overall my skin also looks clearer and brighter. My only negative is I wish that the bottle were different. I don't like having to shake the bottle a couple of times to get a few drops on my hand. I'd rather a pump where I can apply the product to a cotton round and then use it on my face. I don't like having to use my hands to apply it.Trice
This is the best "serum" I have EVER used, & I've used alot in my 51 years. The main reason I bought this is I have been "researching" the ingredient transemic acid, as it is supposed to help redness caused by broken blood vessels (which I have on my cheeks & sides of nose). This redness/veins are the only thing that ruin my fair complexion & make me require make-up when leaving the house! I ditched the pharmerceris redness serum after using for 6wks as it dried my skin out too much. And have given up on a cheaper brand of simple transemic acid which hasn't made any difference after using half a bottle. This serum has a feather light watery texture, I lightly shake into palm of hand & with 2 fingers together dab all over my face including eye orbital at night gently massaging in. In this very hot weather, when it is hard to stop sweating, this light serum is a godsend on its own-it leaves my face feeling soft, smooth & hydrated, & INSTANTLY makes my skin look glowy(not greasy), erases open pores on nose/cheeks, evens out my skintone, softens all my fine lines, makes my skin feel plumped & firmer, & gives enough hydration to not bother with a moisturiser afterwards(if it wasn't so hot at present, I would moisturise afterwards). I do not leave house much at present due to illness, but when I do, I will use this serum in daytime too as part of my daytime skincare, as it makes such a difference instantly to my skin(but wouldn't waste in daytime whilst just at home). I cannot sing the praises of this serum enough. Whilst it does even out my skintone instantly, it hasn't yet helped with reducing my broken blood vessels, but DOES overall even out skintone excellently before any other skincare/makeup. i started using this on Sunday, as well as the Even Tone Serum, and i definitely felt like my dark spots were already clearing up. it does make my skin dry and peeling, so i definitely will not be using it everyday. also, today was the first day that i was out in the sun for a while since beginning to use this product, and my skin sensitivity is waaaaay higher. i came back home and my face is covered in little tiny bumps all over. and yes, i was wearing sunscreen. i wear it everyday, and with these products i was sure to put some on before my walk. since i started using them both at the same time, i'm not sure which one exactly caused this reaction (or if both of them did), but i'm really hoping that my skin will settle back down and i can continue using this because it seemed to be working already. it is only Thursday, and i've used it two or three times, so i will scale back and let my skin recover before using again.nicole
Considerations: 1. Combination-oily, acne-prone, sensitive, African American (chocolate skin). 2. Adult over 25. I have been using this product regularly (every other day) for about 2 weeks. I’ve had the products for 2 months. When I initially used it, I stopped because I thought I had a bad reaction. Thinking back, I incorporated three new products into my routine that week and my skin wasn’t happy. I’ve notice that this product worked best when I used it every other day/two days on my skin for the first week. Now, I find that I can use it two days in a row and skip one day. To be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever use it nightly…it seems too harsh and drying. Every other day or two will give you results. My nighttime steps 1. Cleanse with gentle cleanser (double cleanse) 2. Moisturize while skin is damp 3. Apply Urban SkinRX cream (dime sized amount) I do not use anything else outside of moisturizer when I use this because my skin with freak out, but do what works for you. I would not recommend daily use until after 4 weeks. Even then, I think reducing it to fewer days per week would be better for your skin. Again, do what works best for you. As someone that ranaway from tretinion, I decided to look for a tretinion alternative which was retinol. So I purchased this @urbanskinrx Retinol Rapid Repair Dark Spot Treatment. I didn't hesitate to get it because it contains Alpha Arbutin, AZA, Gluthathione, Kojic acid 2% and Niacinamide 5% (I'm niacinamide intolerant but I still decided to test the waters). For over 3 months this product was in my routine until I threw it away. For starters, my favourite colour is green even though I barely have a lotta green stuff, I love that it comes in a green opaque pump bottle. Everything else was a no no because this product broke my skin out and although I tried different methods of making this product work, it just didn't. Rating: 0/10hesed.s

I've always loved Clinique moisturisers, and so when this was recommended to me by a Clinique consultant for the first time, I was really excited to try something new. It felt absolutely amazing when I tried a small amount on my hand in store, but when I got home and started using it properly, I found my skin was left really sticky. I had a few areas of breakouts within the first week, but I put that down to being a new product and hoped it would calm down a bit in due course, but unfortunately it didn't. I've tried it a number of times since then in the hope that my skin was just being fussy (it can be very sensitive sometimes), but I'm still left with a sticky, spotty face afterwards, and in terms of feeling moisturised, it's not really doing much, especially in the more drier areas. As I normally have such confidence in Clinique products, I threw away my reciept so wasn't able to return it to the store for a refund 🙁 I'd really recommend asking for a sample or a smaller bottle if you're new to using this product as judging by the reviews it can be a little hit and miss.Kate
I made an account just to review this product LOL. So I’ve been using this for the past 3 months and have been loving it! At first, I was combining it with a moisturizer right after and it made my eyes burn (products don’t get in, just fumes and/or scents). I got rid of the moisturizer and boom, burning all gone. However, although I love the product, the “hydration” isn’t very strong. But for me, I only need some hydration after a cleanse. The rest of the hydration, I leave it up to my body. TLDR: Long story short, it’s perfect for some and those who combine it with a light moisturizer. But on its own, not super strong. It was my first time trying a custom personalized blend of moisturizer plus an active cartridge. I paired the Tone Up version of the moisturizer with a fatigue fighting cartridge (orange) The moisturizer delivers an instant rosy glow (as the description suggests) to my face. I've dry skin so the creaminess of the moisturizer works well for me. I'm not sure what effect the cartridge is actually having independently on my face but the overall product combination definitely keeps my face from drying and gives a very nice glow to it all day round. At times I don't even need to layer it with base makeup. Even a pump of it does the job. Got this on sale, and for the results it delivers, I would buy it for full price too.
