Hourglass review I was gifted by Hourglass Cosmetics their Vanish Primer in exchange for my honest review. First off let me say I am a diehard Hourglass fan. You absolutely get what you pay for. Not only luxury products but one of my favorite brands for their packaging. Exquisite! I’ve yet to have a product of theirs not be perfect for me. This primer feels like liquid silk. I do not have oily/shiny skin but my daughter does and she found that working all day at her fast food job it not only controlled her shine but her makeup looked just as good as it did when she started her shift. I like this because there is little to no scent and it played well with my sunscreen. No pilling or separating issues at all. Again, Hourglass products are not ‘cheap’ and they are well worth my hard earned money. Also, I love their Brow Shaping Gel! I didn't think that anything could top the original Hourglass primer. I love that stuff, and have used it in my kit for years. But this one may have even topped it! I love how it seems to control oil and shine, while still feeling hydrating on the skin. It doesn't have the powder finish the original seems to have, but sinks in nicely and leaves a really smooth base for foundation. I do feel like the foundation lasts longer when I use this primer as well, which is always needed when clients need a face to stay on for 16+ hours. Kudos to Hourglass for outdoing themselves on this primer. I feel like every skin type will not only enjoy it, but reap the benefits from it as well. First of all, I’m not a primer person. I typically invest in other base products because I require an elaborate moisturising routine. So when the sales person said that this primer does what it says on the bottle I wasn’t overly convinced until I tried it. The product is viscose and blends well but does not shift or ball up once applied. There’s no pigmented or greasy sheen to it either. So while it’s very comfortable to wear and apply, the real benefit comes once a foundation or even powder is applied. Everything, and I have tried concealers, foundations and powders, goes on so smoothly. I don’t wear full coverage foundation and so formulations have to really perform given I don’t want merky looking skin or patchy looking foundation. So if like me, you don’t exactly believe you *need* a primer, then this is the one you will WANT.ChlNel

I saw absolutely no difference when I used this primer. I have dry mature skin and this product did nothing noticeable. I found it to be a little bit on the sticky side and my foundation was not smooth at all. There is no reason for me to even use it as the results were as if I didn't use any primer. As I mentioned my skin is extremely dry and usually absorbs everything, except for this product. It stayed on the surface of my skin. I had high hopes for this product The packaging was very nice, The price is very reasonable, and the thought of a marshmallow ingredient intrigued me but unfortunately it's not good for me!jackie.c

TIK TOK made my buy it! First off, this primer smells amazing!! super sweet and gives a cute pink tint color! So many people were hyping it and it sold out all online in Ulta in stores so i got the mini sized instead! I have a love/hate with the primer because yes it works decently.. it just didn’t fully meet my expectation because of all its claims. It’s supposed to soften, smoothed, hydrate, extends makeup wear for 16 hr, even tones, keeps makeup fresh, blurs lines, minimize texture, smoothes, and adds a soft focus. Majority of that is true like it does smoothes, sort of blurs, minimize textures and smoothes out the skin.. but that’s about it. Doesn’t extend the wear of my makeup, my lines still creased, and didn’t keep it fresh since my face got oily still.. just too much claims on it, but is still a good primer! I ordered this before I realized it had gone viral, and I'm so glad I got my hands on it before it got harder to find online. My skin is temperamental, no severe issues but a little bit of everything. Combination, big pores, fine lines, texture. I've been using this on top of my regular skincare (toner, moisturizer, SPF) and under light makeup (BB cream, powder, brows) and I love the effect. My skin is smoother in a very natural way and it doesn't look or feel like spackle. On the aesthetic side, the pump is cute and it smells very nice. It applies like a moisturizer, makeup goes on smoothly on top, and it wears well; everything still looks nice by evening. I'll probably try it with fuller coverage eventually, but I'm very happy to report that it fits with a more casual face of makeup, since that's what I typically wear. Almost $20 for a NYX product feels like a lot; I like the brand but they've always been so affordable that the pricetag surprised me. That said, it's worth the price because it's one of only a few primers I've tried that actually does what it says it will. I've already ordered more.Sarah C

So now that we're able to take off our masks in most places/scenarios, it is now time for me to take care of the pool of grease sitting atop of my face. When I tell you if I don't wear primer, setting powder and setting spray, my face looks insane – please believe me lol. This was a purchase I needed to make and along with a good loose setting powder and mattifying setting spray, I was able to control the oil. By the end of the day, sure I may still be a tad bit *shimmery* in the t-zone, but this makes a huge improvement. Bonus: applying it feels luxurious. It has a fresh, natural scent and the texture isn't sticky (Hydro Grip feels sticky to me.) It's a product I look forward to putting on. I'm not really one for wearing a primer under my makeup, and hate the feel of most SPF50s as they can be quite thick and feel heavy. But I decided to give this a go as it's a 2in1, had great reviews and was a good price for the amount. I'm so glad I gave it a go, it's such a fantastic primer. The consistency is lovely, it's not too thick and heavy and it's not thin and runny either. It doesn't sit on the skin, it soaks in and makes your skin look more refreshed while also protecting it from the sun. My foundation sits beautifully on top of it (I wear Clinique even better as I have dry skin with oily tzone). You get a fantastic amount for the price and the bottle is lovely too. I find this product is great for mattifying the face. A Prep/primer before foundation especially Bobbi Brown products. This works amazing with the 'skin long-wear' matte foundation. It is affordable. Not super expensive. I'd recommend. 5 star. Even comes with 45ml. Smells so nice like skin caring ingredients. Fresh. Easy to wear with makeup or without. Little goes a long way. Apply to centre of face then blend outwards. Water based products used with this. Long-lasting. Clear fluid, a little bit thick-not too thick. Not slimey. Feels nice. Long wear. I am new to primer and wasn’t sure what to expect but it has quickly turned into a daily must for me. I love a natural look and don’t always wear make up, so I love that I can opt for using this primer alone when I was more than just moisturizer but not in the mood for full make up. It subtly smooths my fine lines and pores for a fresh complexion that looks like my skin with a bit of a filter. It’s also great under both liquid and mineral foundation. I love that it is versatile and wears well on my skin for any look I’m into any given day. This will be my go to from now on. I received this sample to review as I was in the market for a primer. Absolutely love it! It glides on the skin like silk. Your foudation application is smoother than without the primer. As I have been suing everyday since .. I did the makeup without the primer one day and noticed a difference. I use it everyday prior to my mornign makeup but not at night. What bI love mosr is the primer plus a serum in one product . And it is affordable . Too many times you try a product but cannot afford to buy again to incorporate in your daily routine. Dont expect miracles as it is not a miracle cure, but if you are looking for a greeat afforable addition to your makeup routine. this is a great choice! I love love love the Loreal age perfection blurring face primer!! It will always be my go to for blurring effect!! It does a fabulous job ! I’m 53 my face has always had a beautiful complexion but as i have aged i have noticed an increase of pore size and redness. This does a fabulous job covering pores ! Blurs the red some but it does give a great complexion. Of course minus the wrinkles~ which the only thing to fix those is needle work lol !! Or knife work😂 anyways love this product !!!jessica

New holy grail! I'm shocked at how great this primer performed. I've tried many primers from many brands over the years. Smashbox, benefit, nyx, wet n wild, tatcha.. etc. I've either had bad experiences or just had a subtle boost but nothing much to brag about. I got to a point where i was starting to believe that primers are a waste of money and dont do anything. Just as i was giving up this primer changed my mind. I initially was avoiding this primer because i thought it would be the same as the Elf mint melt primer. I had been using that one as i heard it was a dupe for the milk hydro grip. That was was alright but i felt it was too sticky and didn't make too much of a difference in my makeup. It almost kind of emphasized texture and pores a bit. Then this primer came out with people saying the same thing, a supposed dupe for the hydrogrip.. I thought it might have been the same primer just in a different packaging since the mint melt was a limited release. I ended up purchasing the power grip because my mint melt fell out of my makeup bag. The texture was a lot thinner and smoother than the mint melt. No where near as sticky or uncomfortable to put on. I was SHOCKED. Not only did my foundation look smooth and seamless, but it lasted over 10 hours. I applied my makeup in the morning, did a full 8.5 hour work shift, and then went to get drinks afterwards. All i needed was a bit of a powder touch up and my makeup looked fresh the whole day and night. I'm in love with this primer and its a new staple in my daily makeup routine. I cant believe i went so long without it! Definable deserves all the hype it gets and i'll be recommending this to anyone in need of a new primer!america.g

…it's VERY similar to Elf's Mint Melt and Jelly Pop primers. I havent bothered to compare ingredients, but I own all three primers and I have a sneaking suspicion that the only differences between the three products might be dyes and fragrances. As for the actual quality of the product, I think it works really well. It's tacky and it does what the title suggests–it grips onto your foundation. I've used Power Grip over several different serums, moisturizers, and sunscreens. I've used it under bb creams, both light and medium coverage liquid foundations, and with just plain powder–it plays well with everything I've tried. I haven't noticed any pilling, and it doesnt make my dry patches more noticeable; if anything, it makes them less noticeable (I have combo skin…oily in t-zone, normal perimeter, dry undereye and lids). Power grip seems to prevent my base makeup from settling into fine lines for a much longer time than other similar primers do, and it definitely prevents makeup from fading throughout the day–I do think that overall, it wears well. In my opinion, that's the aim of this primer: to keep your makeup on for the duration of your day, and to help it to look better longer–if that's what you need, give it a shot. That being said, anyone looking for pore blurring or filling, redness reduction or color correction, or anyone with very dry skin will probably want to forego this primer and try something else.Cher W

I wanted to use this grip primer for a few weeks before writing a review. I’ve used ELF’s other primers in the past, and remember being impressed by the poreless face primer. The grip primer is supposed to be a dupe for a more expensive MILK primer, and I think it does a good job doing that. It has viscous consistency, and you need to put it and spread it on your face immediately after dispensing. I was really impressed that it didn’t pill, cause I have the same problem with many other primers on the market that I’ve used in the past. I’ve seen reviews that it wan’t the best suit for a dry skin, and since my skin is super dry I was a bit apprehensive about using this primer, BUT with the first application all my fears disappeared. I love love loooooooooove that this primer has a hyaluronic acid which my skin loved, and the fact that it’s made without all the parabens sulfates adds another star to it. I usually use light primers under my sunscreen on days when I’m not using heavy makeup, however, I think the grip primer works better with heavy foundation makeup. I was really impressed about how long my foundation stayed in place without any touchups throughout the day. It was literally a wow-effect. ELF did it again putting an amazing product on the market without the expensive price tag. I would definitely recommend this primer, and would be purchasing it myself in the future after I use this one up.maggie.q

Ridiculously expensive but worth every penny!! I have spent sooooo much money and time at Ulta the staff knew me by name! I have spent THOUSANDS trying to find a primer and foundation that worked for me. I have huge pores and for the life of me couldn't find the right products. I purchased this primer on a beauty steal because I couldn't part with that amount of money otherwise, and let me tell you….the very first time I applied it, I was sure I once again wasted more money on another epic failure. It's consistency is lighter than my moisturizer and I was sure it would only assist my foundation in sliding all around my face and I would just wipe it all off and settle with using my concealer to spot check. But that's not what happened! It actually held my foundation and filled in my pores (I'm talking huge pores that my face mask seemed to be afraid to be sucked into so when it dried you could see every single pore) making my face looking like a smooth canvas like they do in commercials or using a filter! I have tried ALL primers cheap and expensive but this was it. I hate that this helped me so well for the price I will have to pay for it when I need more. I'm not a paid influencer or work for the company to help promote. I work 8-5 M-F in healthcare with kids in NY. I'm poor as 💩. But if I can help another person that struggled the way I did and save them ALOT of money trying everything else like I did, it's worth it. Good things need to be shared amongst us all because we all deserve it! The only attention I want from this is from the manufacturer/creator/owner to make this affordable. I received my set this lunchtime and immediately opened and tried it all on! I love the vitamin enriched face base. It is very nourishing but does not leave me with a shiny face. I leave to dry for a few minutes before I apply my Nars tinted moisturiser. I don't normally get on with mascara, it always flakes off or gives me darker circles under my eyes. However this one is great, giving nice smoky defined lashes and no flakes! It is not one that will give you a long false eyelash look, but it is very flattering, and lasting. The Golden Pink eye crayon is a beautiful shimmery pink that applies smoothly and doesn't crease or look too sparkly, just a pearly sheen. I thought it might make my eyelids look crepey but it actually detracts from the crepiness I have. The lipstick in Italian Rose is a nice deep rose pink colour, it brightens my old face! I find it quite drying on my lips so I will need to wear gloss on top to make it feel comfortable. All in all a good TSV from BB. Please could we have tinted moisturiser in the next one? I haven’t used BB skincare as yet but the makeup products I have used are brilliant. I have had this shimmer block before, many years ago and liked it so re purchased. It is a subtle glow, not sparkly, perfect for me, lady of a certain age!! I love the mascara, no clumping, black colour and doesn’t leave your eyelashes brittle or hard, they are soft even with the mascara on. The eyeliner is so soft and gentle. It is a dark brown and glides on the skin. Lastly the face base, well that is absolutely amazing, so much so I am going to buy the full size. I found you don’t need to use much and put this on as the last thing before foundation. Leave it for a minute or two then apply foundation as usual. I have found my foundation bonds to this and really does keep my makeup looking as good in the evening as when first applied in the morning. I finally caved and purchased this primer as I have heard nothing but rave reviews about it. The internet and all its glory makes this seem like it is the secret for porcelain doll skin. Well I really tried, but it just didn’t work out for me. I picked this up at Rexall for $14CDN. Not bad price wise but I was expecting a wee bit less for Elf. The texture is very creamy. Not greasy but similar to the texture of the Elf Miracle Eyeshadow Primer. No silicone texture either. As you can see in my picture, it has a light pink hue that blends away. I find after I apply it it doesn’t really do anything. It just blends into the skin. When I apply my foundation I find it mixes with the primer and my face just looks streaky. I have applied the primer and will work on my eyes, to give the primer a chance to ‘set’. Even then, it doesn’t make a difference. When I do get my face looking adequate, it doesn’t take long and my foundation disappears. There is no lasting power for this primer. I’m still going to look for ways to make this product work, but I am not holding my breath. Best of luck to those who try it!courtney.k

Let me start by saying the Poreless Putty Primer was by no means my first primer nor my first product with a cream, gel or putty-like consistency. However, I was skeptical of a primer I needed to "pick up" and apply with my fingers much like a potted lip balm. I love reviews and claims but I often have to try something to honestly believe the claims so I did just that and chose this version because I've always preferred primers that helped blur or diminish the appearance of the pores on my cheeks near my nose. It took a couple of uses to fully understand this primer because initial I only applied it to certain areas of my face thinking it would clog pores then I used it all over but not really; meaning the amount was probably too negligible for actually priming my face evenly and it showed. Quick DISCLAIMER: This review is for when I initially tried this primer after it debuted; before any of the specialty brushes and when the suggested tips were to use your fingers to "warm up the product and evenly distribute over your face". So…I'll sum this up faster as everyone else has reviewed this and I'm sure my results after using it correctly are probably similar to those who had positive experiences. It IS easy to use and although I mentioned not using enough of it, you do not need a lot of product for a full face cover; I was just being overly cautious (lame). There is no strong fragrance and even though I used my fingers for my first jar it never looked sloppy or messy when opened because the formulas stays firm and literally melts with the heat from your fingertips. I can't honestly say I saw a big difference in my pores from just this product but it is possible. What is true is that I've got multiple face primers including a well-known brand's "Pore….sional" that was my hands down favorite for years and lately I've found myself using the elf product over that one because of the tackier grip that allows for longer lasting wear. Unlike that brand's product this isn't one to reapply over makeup during the day if you want a blurring effect (you can do this with the other) but I have travel sizes of the other should I want to touch that up.Beliza2

So I know people LOVE this stuff, and I wanted to love it too. It's been called a dupe for a more luxury brand's primer and it's the underdog darling of the makeup community. When I first put it on, it sank into my skin well and made my makeup look pretty darn good at first. But within an hour my makeup was breaking apart and separating off my face, which has never been a problem before using this product. Now, people might say that it's the type of makeup I'm using. Maybe not every brand's makeup is compatible with every primer. But I only use ELF makeup. At the very least, you'd expect their makeup to be compatible with their own primer! I also have very dry skin naturally due to an autoimmune problem, and never have an issue with my face getting too greasy and ruining my makeup, even in hot weather. This primer also made my face feel lastingly greasy and borderline waxy, even after using a 2 step makeup remover. I am pretty disappointed.BringMeTea

This product is so much more than just a primer! And is most certainly a perfect 10 in my books! I use it after washing my face, sometimes after and other times without using a toner. I want all of these ingredients to be absorbed into my skin so moisturizer and anything else comes after! My acne cleared up drastically. I luckily didn't have an additional breakout from using a new product, what I did have began clearing up and I have not yet seen any drastic breakouts and no new cystic breakouts! The pump does sometimes get clogged and I even thought the product was finished! Decided to take the packaging apart to retrieve anything that remains and was happy with how easily the lid came off but it also wasn't like it would easily come off again. Found out there was still about half the bottle worth! The bottle now looked half empty and the product has come out without a hitch since. I was happy because I was concerned it wouldn't be worth the price for how quickly it ran out using 3 pumps, most times once a day however it most certainly is worth the price, I will purchase again, and it appears as it is going to last me about 3 months.nichole .b

Wow I am a front line worker and was really feeling the chronic stress of the past 1 year on my skin. I am so glad I asked my friend who doesnt appear to have aged a day in the past year what her secret was. She told me about NuFACE, and I admit I was a little dubious at first, however after using the Hydrating Aqua Gel with the NuFACE microcurrent device for the past several weeks I am in awe I love how I dont have to get my hands all sticky since there is the super soft brush to apply the gel. It doesnt feel sticky or drying like some gels can. My skin feels amazing after I finish my treatment and I actually look forward to doing it. It was easier than I thought to incorporate it into my routine. I have noticed considerable improvement in my skins texture and in fine lineswrinkles. My coworkers have been asking how I look so awake. I love knowing that if things shut down again, I will have my NuFACE products I can use right at home to combat these high stress times. For reference I am a female in my mid 30s with combination skin. I do get adult acne and this hasnt caused any acne flares whatsoever. Really like this serum for my microcurrent devices (facegym pro and ziip). Love the large size with pump feature for ease of applying more serum while using a microcurrent device (you don’t need to set it down to use both hands fiddle with squeezing a tube of serum). This serum also has a very faint lovely scent and doesn’t irritate my skin. You can also leave it on for a while after you are done using your microcurrent device. Only con is it dries a bit too fast while you microcurrent, so you have to continuously reapply. Just purchased a water based face mister to extend the life of the serum from drying to fast on my face.Camilla

This is the correct/intended product to use with the NuFace, and (I think) contributes to the device's efficacy. I have super sensitive, acneic skin and this product doesn't make me break out, and my skin actually loves the hyaluronic acid in it. You do have to follow instructions — wash your face and don't apply anything to your skin except for the gel primer. I work in sections, since my skin tends to soak up the primer too quickly to apply at once. Also you don't need to apply a ton, you're just looking for the device to gently glide on your skin without catching or sliding around. Afterward, gently massage any excess into your face and you can go about the rest of your skincare — also I do recommend letting everything soak in for a minute or two (so I usually brush my teeth while I'm waiting). The only times I've had problems with makeup application afterward were when I didn't let it fully soak in, and it left slightly sticky patches on my face where my makeup would get cakey.Britzilla

I don’t buy a lot of black radiance products but when I saw that this was a poor minimizing primer I decided to give it a shot. I have been using this for about three days and I have to say that I am really pleased with how it truly minimizes the poor and gives my make up a matte finish without it looking completely mat. It still looks natural which I love so I’m not trying to look like a filter or anything but I like to look as natural as possible in and this minimizes pores and gives me a natural matte finish without it looking too over the top. It doesn’t have much of a smell to it and the crew the texture is like a satin feels so it feels nice it doesn’t feel oily or greasy it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily or greasy either. I really like this primer I will be getting more when I run out and this is some thing that I would recommend to anybody who’s looking for a primer to help minimize your pores and give you a nice Matte natural lookLorienlnj

I used this several times. I have combination oily skin with a slight red color. My skin is far from perfect after having my son due to acne so I always try to use a primer to help conceal a bit of the texture and redness. I haven't noticed a difference from the green tint or from holding my makeup or texture. I feel like it is just an extra step. Plus the pump sucks you have to pump it a hundred times and then when the product does finally come out you get way too much.Wilsoncm

This primer is actually really good. A glides up on my face and it just melts into my skin. It definitely helps my make up last as well as it sets a foundation for my foundation. I’m able to use my oil base sunscreen and it not mess up with this primer. I really liked the primer speak at first I was a little scared but once I put it on my face it definitely gave me a little glow that I love and I didn’t feel heavy at all. I got this in Clear, number 400. Nice soft silky texture, almost like a serum but not. Sinks into skin easily. Is hydrating but not greasy. Didn't make my makeup seperate. Hydrated under my matte foundation, making my foundation not dry and cakey looking. Didn't break me out, so it has gentle ingridents. Feels light on the skin like you're not wearing anything. Has no scent. Didn't exactly blur pores or make my complextion/skin texture look fantastic, but looked better than without the primer. The price is reasonable.
I love that it's clear because I have a dye allergy to colored products. I don't like how it's not packaged in plastic and anyone can open it and use it in stores, which they do. A little doesn't go a long way but the product doesn't run out super fast.Jen Miller

I adore this product and have purchased it for myself and girlfriends many times. It illuminates your skin! Helps soften and hide minor wrinkles in photos, creates this dewy but NoT greasy look. So many times while I’m wearing it people will comment to me about how good my skin looks. You’d think by the age of 40 I would have used a primer by now. But nope, fresh out of the gate newb. Again I believe I did some research (YouTubing) on this and primers in general. Which ones were the best and then looked for dupes of the best. I had always heard of primer but I figured it’s main use was to make makeup last longer and usually I’m only wearing it for a handful of hours at night so I don’t need it for regular day use. I love this primer. It's not wet or sticky. It's silky and smooth and blends around easily. It gives such a soft, smooth base for any type of makeup. There is no scent that I noticed which I think is a good thing for a primer. I noticed that my makeup looks so much better when I use this and makes it look more natural. I love BareMinerals. Their mineral veil and illuminating mineral veil powders I love are two of my favorite powders I’ve ever bought and have used for years. I love many of their blushes too. I’ve tried just about every primer, high end to low end. I’d say this is a moderate end on the price scale, but for the price it’s just meh. It didn’t do anything bad, but it didn’t do anything great either. It does make the skin feel smooth and it has a silicone feel to it. It just didn’t minimize pores, didn’t produce a smooth canvas and didn’t add any lasting effect to any foundation I’ve tried with it. I should also mention I did not try with their foundation either. You get one ounce of product for $26 and for that price it just doesn’t produce any stand out effect.stephanie.r

This product is a fantastic idea in the worst packaging ever. The product itself goes on super sheer and creates an illuminating glow for your powder foundation while relieving any feeling of dry facial skin. After application your foundation goes on perfectly and with such evenness that the product pays for itself until we get to the completely inadequate bottle it comes in. The pump works some of the time, once you get to the point where the product is no longer able to pump due to malfunction or because it is getting low in the bottle, there's no way to get the remaining product out of the bottle because of its thickness. It will not come out of the bottle when turned upside down and shaken. So basically half of the contents of the bottle are inaccessible. In my book that's a complete waste of money and something needs to be done to correct the poor packaging. Just want to let you know ladies that unless you have another way to scoop this out of the tiny opening you'll be throwing a third of this in the trash can.Maresmurph

I apply this primer even on days I don't wear foundation because I love the way it feels on my face. I have drier skin and this helps keep my daytime moisturizer in tact all day. If Vapour offered skincare products, specifically a night cream, eye moisturizer and day moisturizer with SPF, I'd buy those too! All I want to use on my skin is Vapour!Lauren

I love this primer! I do not wear foundation and was not sure what I would think of this paired with my tinted moisturizer, but it turned out to be the perfect match. I use this after applying my morning serum and face cream, but before using my tinted moisturizer/liquid bronzer concoction. The result is a lovely, natural glow. I was concerned this primer would be too iridescent for my taste, but it's not at all. It does give you a dewey look, but not in an overwhelming way. I have found that a quick swipe of Vapour's perfecting powder minimizing any unwanted shine and leaves a natural look that lasts all day. I have not had any problem with piling, but I do wait a few minutes before applying another product on top of it. The first day I wore it I received 2 compliments on my skin!Eileen M.

I have dry skin with periodic hormonal acne. I get maybe one pimple per cycle (if that) which started maybe 2 years ago. Before that, I’ve never had acne. This stuff breaks me out in cystic acne every time I’ve used it. It doesn’t even prime or stay glassy so it’s basically useless. If you have oily skin, you won’t like this. But, if you have dry skin and love that glass skin look, then you might like it. It’s glossy and not sparkly. It does not dry down like a regular primer but I don’t actually mind it. My sheisedo foundation sits beautifully on top and then use my all-nighter setting spray..Luvmakeup

This is my favorite product!! I can wear/use this in so many ways!!! Most days I wear this on its own without makeup, over my SPF moisturizer. Sometimes I use it as a primer to a foundation. My favorite way to use it is to mix it with a concealer! It makes my concealer go on so much smoother and makes it less tacky or cakey! I even sometimes mix this with a few dabs of the Skin Perfect Primer! My only complaint is that it doesn't contain SPF, but it goes over my SPF nicely!Mallory A.

I started wearing this Hydrablur Primer and combine with the Age Smart Primer with SPF once the Pandemic started. I had read that Primer fares better with the facr masks that we had to start wearing with the Pandemic. My normal daily routine ends with the Hydrablur followed by the Age Smart with SPF. I feel they provide enough coverage for me and I love the way my skin feels with them, nice and smooth. I have very sensitive skin, so it's hard to find a foundation that doesn't irritate my skin, that also doesn't feel heavy. I definitely love the feel and coverage of the Dermalogica primers. the best pore filling primer I have ever used hands down. I have used many on the market but this one isn’t a gimmick it’s legit. It makes my base look so smooth and like an actual filter and adds a nice glow to the skin. I absolutely love this product and the coverage is great in that a little goes a long way- seriously. So you get multiple uses out of it. Highly recommend! Also this hasn’t caused me any issues with my acne prone skin!!!aracely a.

This primer is so smooth and refreshing. Its blends well with foundation, leaves no clumping or cracking, and leaves your skin smooth. The product does minimize pores as it claims. I would however change the pump on the product because it does collect air and makes it difficult for the primer itself to come out of the packaging, but other than that there are no issues with this product 😊…ginger.e

My sensitive skin loves No7 Lift &Luminate Primer! I always worry when trying a new product because my sensitive skin can get very angry if I'm not very choosy about the product I use. No7 Lift & Luminate is lightweight so it doesn't sink into and accentuate my fine lines, and wow does my makeup look good over it! My skin looks great with OR without makeup and foundation. Yes, you read that right, somedays I use my No7 Lift &Luminate and don't even need foundation, but even my foundation looks better with it if I choose to wear the foundation! Seriously! I thought I loved this and then I realized it was causing my face to break out. This was the only change or new product i incorporated so I’m blaming this. BUT if you don’t have sensitive skin, it’s definitely worth a shot. Look at the ingredients and make sure you use the same type of foundation with this. What I mean is—if water is the first ingredient in this, then it should be the first ingredient in your foundation. This will avoid pilling. Match water with water or silicone with silicone.brittany.f

I'll start by saying that I'm really confused about the reviews on this product. I've been on a journey to find a good primer, and the outpouring of positive reviews led me here. This however, is not the one. It's thick like paste, and leaves an ever so slightly chalky residue that leaves skin super dry. I applied a tinted moisturizer over it, and it was so cakey. First one I received was a bit dried out – like a stale marshmallow. Winky Lux has the best Customer service! Sent me a replacement- much better! This really does blur the 'lines'. I'm 66y.o. This just may be the worst primer that I have tried yet, and I have tried so many. It is definitely not formulated for oily skin. When first applying, it's very thick and oily, when drying it feels very soft yet slick. I fill in my eyebrows and this made it difficult to use the pencil and did not allow pigment to show very well. Within 2 hours of wear, my face looked like a horrible, splotchy mess. This destroyed my look and was very embarrassing, as I applied before work. My makeup just set on top of the product and never absorbed into my face, and I only used a very thin coat of primer. This product is very overpriced and the formula is awful. The packaging is cute and that's the ONLY thing it has going for it. If you have oily skin, and are looking for a product that helps your makeup last longer, skip this one! There's much better and cheaper out there.Apriella

I love this primer. It's not wet or sticky. It's silky and smooth and blends around easily. It gives such a soft, smooth base for any type of makeup. There is no scent that I noticed which I think is a good thing for a primer. I noticed that my makeup looks so much better when I use this and makes it look more natural. I think it would work well for all skin types. I would recommend trying it.brittany.h
