This tube is a little big to put in his suitcase and take it on a trip but it fits well in the drawer of the bathroom furniture. I have combination skin prone to breakouts on the cheeks and chin, and quite bad blocked pores/blackheads on my cheeks. This cleanser has been a savour! It smells of grapefruit which I like and has slowly been working magic on my skin – I've had various people comment on how clear and glowy I am looking! Over only a week my skin is in much better condition, and definitely less redness too! The blocked pores are diminishing in size and for the first time in forever, my skin doesn't feel itchy/breakout when wearing makeup. I've been using this morning and evening, but if I feel as if my skin is a little dry then I'll drop to once a day. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that this is a little harsh for my skin, and I have to be real quick at applying moisturiser after using as cheeks and nose otherwise get really dry and flaky. I've had to change to a slightly more intense moisturiser but it's worth it for the overall improvement in my skin (LA Roche-Posay hydrating mask is so good for putting moisture into the skin but not blocking pores) .Rosie
Very nice chemical exfoliating cleanser. This is my favourite of this type. Affordable price (when in discount around 5euros) and very effective even for the most sensitive skin. I use it with clarisonic or foreo and I really enjoy the exfoliating experience. It's foamy but leaves my skin so clean! When my skin needs a more gentle exfoliating step I use it alone without the brushes and works as a charm. I use a very tiny amount so the bottle lasts for ages! I bought this along with Nip & Fab's nighttime glycolic fix and both have been a big disappointment. To be fair, I don't generally have oily skin, but this stuff just dried my skin out quite a bit without leaving it feeling any smoother or clearer. I don't have acne or anything- just the occasional zit and unevenness that I'm trying to address in the medium to long-term. Olive-toned skin. I do use some face washes that leave my skin feeling a little dry (but not to the point of feeling tight- just slightly ashy if I don't follow with a toner), but they ALSO leave my skin feeling very smooth and soft and a little toner and serum easily get rid of the dryness. However, it's weird to have just the dryness without the positive effects! Like with the nighttime gel, I can't help but doubt the claimed glycolic acid content. I've used other weaker glycolic products with much more noticeable and immediate results, and neither of these nip & fab products feels like it has any glycolic to me. They don't tingle at all. I have rosacea and am in love with this product! I dont use it daily but instead it is my weekly exfoliator and is amazing. The combination of micro beads and acids work well to remove dead skin as well as reduce dark spots. I usually use it in the shower and after I’ve rubbed it in I let it sit for 3-4 minutes. I actually was lucky to be a part of the pop-up event in Dallas Northpark a few weeks ago (simple because I saw everyone being handed free popsicles – !Lol) I wasn't sure what was happening but a very nice rep walked me through the experience and I was sold almost immediately. To preface, I have fair skin that is pretty sensitive and prone to dryness and occasional hormonal acne. My go to cleansers are Dermologica Daily Microfoliant and Vanicream gentle face wash. Decided to add this product to my rotation after dealing with a couple of stubborn hormonal/maskne breakouts and being recommended this brand by a friend. Due to the high % of salicylic acid, i only used it 2-3 times a week. After about a month, I began to suffer from some of the worst breakouts i have EVER experienced in my life on my temples, cheeks and chin which i am just now starting to recover from after 6 weeks. I really don't know what the purpose of this is compared to the All-In-One Face Treatment. The All-In-One Face Treatment packaging says it's "Soothing, Moisturizing, Repairing, and Mattifying." This All-In-One Hydrating Gel packaging says it's "Soothing, Hydrating, Mattifying, and Cooling." The only big difference is the lack of "Repairing." I like how the product description says it has "oil-absorbing powder" which is great for someone with skin like mine, but the product fell short as my skin was EXCESSIVELY oily within a few hours. I attribute this to alcohol being right at the top with the first few ingredients. I don't understand why Lab Series is so obsessed with menthol, peppermint and alcohol as of late! It goes on feeling nice, has a great light smell, but these oil-control products from Lab Series are really not hitting it much. If alcohol in a product doesn't bother you, then this might be a nice, light simple moisturizer for you… at best. If you tend to be oily, stay clear of this product and perhaps try the All-In-One Face Treatment product which has the added "Repairing" benefit and NO alcohol.Jeffery

i usually use a gentle exfoliating cleanser every other day because i like the little scrubbies. This was really nice to use as it felt like it was cleansing and it smelled really nice. i also must say it didn't dry out my face like my regular cleanser does, so that was a nice change. ShaeMoisture is one of my favorite hair products so trying this out was a pleasure. I love the vitamins C in a cleaning product as it’s unusual. Ive tried oils, but this is a better way to get that aspect of a cleaner brighter glow from a cleanser. This cleanser is really strange. I received it as my birthday gift. It’s very thick and once you mix it with water and apply it and rinse it off, it leaves some kind of “film” on your skin. I don’t wear makeup so the only thing this product had to go though was my daily moisturizer (no other serums or anything). My face did not feel clean even after massaging the product thoroughly for two minutes or so. HOWEVER THE FRAGRANCE IN THIS PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE. I don’t understand why there has to be a fragrance added to skin care (hello irritation!) in the first place and let alone a product that washes off your face. The smell is very synthetic/artificial and very strong. HOW IS THIS PRODUCT LABELED “CLEAN AT SEPHORA” when the ingredients are clearly NOT CLEAN ?!MartiniC
Generally speaking I love tatcha products. The cleansing oil and the water cream are part of my regular line up. I have tried this product twice, when it came as part of a set, and both times after a week of use I ended up with dry, flaky skin that resolved after I stopped using it. My skin is typically normal-to-dry but I also live in a very humid climate, so I wouldn’t say dry skin is a major problem for me, but with this product it was noticeable. I couldn’t wear any face makeup for a week or two because it would highlight the flakey spots. It has a lovely smell, and it feels nice, and the light texture seems to vanish when it’s rubbed in (I’m not sure if it provides any exfoliating at all, it’s so fine and disappears so quickly), so two stars for “cosmetic elegance,” but ultimately it is not for me. I really can’t understand how this would be called “hydrating” or described as not “stripping” the skin because neither of those were true for me.sarahs310
This wash feels extraordinary and you really have to compliment tatcha for the formulation here if nothing else. There is a mild "grit" to the cleanser when it first comes out of the tube which immediately dissolves as you rub your hands together and spread it over your face. It never creates a harsh lather, but rather cleans your skin almost like an balm or an oil, easily removing dirt and oil from your pores. It feels very rich never leaves you dry. I think this would probably work for all skin types with exception to extremely oily skin. If you've got very oily skin or clogged pores, I recommend the Hyper Skin Gentle Brightening Gel, which is my favorite cleanser at the moment for reducing the look of pores. This Tatcha rice wash comes in second place, as it's super calming and I always reach for this when I want a cleanser to make me feel like I'm at a spa. Be aware that their is some mild fragrance. This really shouldn't cause any issues even on sensitive skin, BUT as always if you have a damaged skin barrier from going too hard on the chemical exfoliates or treatments (can look like small red patches or general stinging when applying products) then I would put down all fragrance products until your skin heals.boyskinJJ

I bought this version of cleanser as I was using the same named but specifically for dry skin product from Vichy, for many years. I have quite dry skin, the kind that washing with water makes it dry! That specific version was excellent, skin clean, smooth, soft, I could even go to bed without having to use a night hydrating cream if I was running out of it! This new, only version of 3 in 1 should not have been in the category for dry skin. Normal and sensitive skin is ok. this is why I give it a 4, actually, a 3 1/2 would be more accurate.Effie
This is a decent, gentle cleanser that seems like it would work well for sensitive skin. However, it isn't actually that great at removing eye makeup as it claims. It seems there is always a fair amount of eyeshadow and mascara left behind. For stubborn eyeliner, I have to put this on a cue tip to scrub it off, and it still won't complete clean it. I didn't care for this as a toner, either, so used a different one after cleansing. Yet, this did do a pretty good job getting most of the foundation and color off my face, so as a basic cleanser it worked fine. It didn't over-dry my dry skin as some cleansers do, either. I think this is an all right cleanser, especially after an oil cleanser as a second step or as a bare face cleanser to freshen up, but I didn't find it lived up to its claims as a toner and serious eye makeup remover.jennifer.r
I have recently discovered the Vichy 3 in 1 One Step Purete Thermale cleanser and I am really pleased with the results. The cleanser is a smooth consistency that is easy to distribute from the squeeze bottle to apply the desired amount. It has a lovely fresh floral scent that is super gentle on the skin. You simply apply to dry skin and wipe away with a cotton pad to remove makeup, grease and grime from the day. It even removes eye makeup effortlessly and being super gentle it is perfect for sensitive skin. It not only cleanses it tones and adds moisture too. An absolute must for your cleansing routine and is perfect when going away to minimize the amount of products you need to take without having to compromise. I use a separate bifacil eye makeup remover as I am not keen in getting cream products near my sensitive eyes. This is one of the best cleansers and makeup removes I've found. I usually use the Lancome comfort face wash with the pink lettering(can't remember the name), but decided to switch to this since it's much larger(though the small one of the other normally lasts me almost a year). My skin is prone to dryness,flaking,and irritation, especially as the colder months roll around. I use this at night as a makeup remover and cleanser and ot noticeably shrinks my pores and makes my skin silky smooth,soft,and hydrated. I of course still use toner and moisturizer afterwards, but I no longer need to wear a daily moisturizing mask or heavy cream to bed. I wake up still with smooth, clean and clear looking skin. I have sensitive skin and this is non-irritating; it's actually soothing. In the AM I use Hada Labo Gokujyun cream cleanser which feels very nice, but I love this so much that I'm considering fully switching over for winter. Definitely recommend for dry,sensitive,flaky,cold- irritated, or mature skin. It has a scent(almondy), but it isn't very strong. This made my skin feel like a layer had been taken off of it… My skin feels very smooth – however, it felt tight and slightly sore. This is a decent foam cleanser. It's relatively inexpensive and does the job, even removes makeup pretty well and leaves the skin feeling squeaky clean afterwards. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because I feel as though it leaves my skin feeling dry and stripped afterwards so it's not a cleanser I would reach out for straight away. It lathers up a lot so a little goes a long way. I would probably repurchase it as it is still a very good cleanser, it's just I wouldn't use it everyday because I already have dry-combination skin and this leaves my skin feeling very stripped after using it.Nasma
I used to never use face wash in the past because washing my face with them would actually GIVE me pimples (my skin has a very sensitive ecosystem) so I never used face wash much. That was before I was introduced to this specific product. I've been using this daily for a couple years now and it's literally the only face wash I'll use. It's gentle enough not to disturb my skin but I can still definitely feel it's cleaning effects (ever find that some gentle cleansers are way too gentle that it doesn't even seem like they do much?). I love this cleanser. It's gentle and my skin feels clean but also nourished and soft. I rub the cleanser into my skin, then use a little bit of water to emulsify it a little with my fingers. I have some bamboo soft washable cotton pads and I use one of these. I run it under luke warm water, squeeze it out and then gently wipe. Then I rinse my whole face with Luke warm water. Voila! I am currently experiencing extreme rosacea acne on my T-zone but mostly my cheeks. My face is itchy, red, and has painful cysts. This product been a saviour as I work on my internal health. It is creamy and smells light/refreshing/dreamy. It feels so soft on my face and soothes my angry skin. It is seriously cooling and a relief to my poor face. I use biodegradable bamboo towels from "Clean Skin Club" with water to remove it. I think it does a good job at removing my makeup and cleaning my pores. I will wash with this twice if I wear makeup. I was very skeptical to pay this much for a cleanser. I would usually use European brands for sensitive skin such as Avene, Bioderma, or La Roche Posay, but recently I was having cystic acne outbreaks on top of Rosacea. I was desperate so I decided to upgrade my skin care routine. $$$ To be honest, this cleanser is wonderful! I love massaging it to my dry skin and removing it with the warm towelette. This technique seems to be cleaning my skin better than applying cleanser on wet face and rinsing. Also my skin feels so soft after! I have very pale skin prone to redness and I this cleanser with the Pai Rose Hip Oil do not make the issue worse (like most skincare product), but better! After using this cleanser for a week I noticed my face is not as red as usually and no new acne spots have been formed. It really seems to be working for me. On days when I wear make up I also use the Pai Cleansing oil as second cleans after the Pai Middlemist Seven to make sure I remove all the make up and these routine has been working for me wonderfully. If you have very sensitive pale skin prone to cystic acne or rosacea, I would give this cleanser a try. It’s been working wonderfully for me it might also for you.Petra

I saw a lady on TikTok using this. She had a counter full of expensive skincare and then this $12 dollar cleanser. It really made me scratch my head. There were no sponsorship links either. So I went to Walgreens and grabbed the last bottle they had. Guess a lot of people use it. Wash my face and It makes my face feel super clean without feeling dry and tight. It has little pink granules that gently exfoliate. It’s a thick bubbly paradise. It has Vitamin C and Yuzu extract. This is my first purchase from Soap Glory and definitely won’t be my last. the little pink things are microplastics used as a means to exfoliate. unlike other common means of physical exfoliation like sugar scrubs, they do not dissolve. this means they travel through the water supply, likely contributing to clogs/slow drains in your home, fatbergs in sewers of populated areas, and polluting water wherever they go. that was the first reason I became so disappointed in this product and company. it came to my attention they were plastic when I had a huge zit that never went away. finally when it was drained, one of these plastic bits came out and I was put on antibiotics to take care of any infection resulting of this thing being trapped in my skin. I'm really disappointed in this product and expect better from a brand thriving in a time where skincare science has come so far.K
Soap and Glory just nail it when it comes to beauty. I've used this for years. Whilst it technically isn't a face soap, it is so gentle on my skin. I've used this since having oily skin in my teens, through to combination, sensitive and normal skin now. The Yuzu smell reminds me of Summer all year round and I feel so clean and refreshed every time I use it. Such good value. I give this 2 stars bc I’m honestly still unsure about it but i’m thinking it’s definitely gonna be a no for me at least. at first i really liked it and it feels nice on my face. i feel like the exfoliating part doesn’t do too much but i also don’t see any difference in my pores. before this i only had some hormonal acne on my chin, but now i have bumps & black heads all over my chin & cheeks. there’s even bumps coming up on my forehead now (the don’t have a head but they’re still red bumps) so definitely think i’m gonna stop using this for a bit and see if anything changes. i’ve been using the moisturizer with it but it was a small kind of sample sized one & so i’ll probably just use the rest of it. but even the moisturizer is too watery for me i thought it would be perfect but if i don’t put it over my serums and use an oil after it just feels like wet but dry it’s weird. and at first they both seemed to be doing okay i think i even gave a good review on the moisturizer i can’t remember but after using both for a straight month i think it’s just making my face worse. those were the only things i changed up. i still have some of the face wash i’ve been using plus another sample sized one also that came in the pack with the small moisturizer so i may see if i can go back to it later but if i see one bump after use i won’t be using it again. right now i’ll have to find something that can clear up my face now because i do believe it’s the face wash doing itroseyjane
I’ve been having breakouts on my cheeks, forehead, & neck for about 2 years now, along with sweat bumps across my forehead & this was the first non-drug store product I splurged on. I had tried lots of other more high end products through samples & family, 2 of which were Tatcha. I loved how they made my skin feel directly after use, but was reluctant to buy any myself because I didn’t know if they would have and long term results & the prices hurt my heart lol. But let me say, this is SO worth it. After using this cleanser for over 4 months now I am IN LOVE. I have semi sensitive skin & it never burns or gives my skin that dry & tight feeling. I’ve seen so much improvement with my acne (especially on my cheeks) & my face feels like baby skin right after use. I shortly went back to a drugstore cleanser to try & avoid spending so much on one product & see if I would notice any big differences & my skin was crying for me to switch back to this. This cleanser is fine. It has a mild scent that’s something like a cross between lemongrass and lychee, and it comes out of the tube as a thick, viscous gel intermittently studded with exfoliating beads. It lathers and rinses well, considering the texture, and a little bit really does go a long way, but it took me a while to get used to the fact that there isn’t much of a foamy quality to it. Other reviewers mentioned that their skin felt significantly softer and smoother after adding this to their routine, and while I am delighted for them, I did not personally notice any marked difference in my own skin. The packaging is pretty, but the plastic flip-top felt sort of cheap, considering the brand and price point. I bought the standard 5-ounce tube, which took me about twelve weeks to get through. I used it once a day for the first two weeks—which is how I expected to use it—and twice a day for the remaining ten weeks. Despite my vaguely temperamental combination skin that tends to reacts poorly to harsh exfoliants, I didn't experience any redness or sensitivity while using this. It's definitely gentle. Almost too gentle. Aggressively gentle, even. the face wash feels very soft on your face, however if you’re looking for something that suds up a little bit this is not the face wash for you. It’s a very creamy texture but doesn’t really suds up like some face washes. The scent is like smelling an orange peel- in the morning its fine, but at night it’s not my favorite scent. This cleanser was recommended to me by an esthetician who understood how sensitive my skin is and I have now used it for several years and I love it. It removes makeup and leaves my skin lightly moisturized. If I have worn heavier makeup that day, I might follow it with the Purifying Cleanser to do a double wash. I bought this cleanser based on a recommendation from one of the Skinceuticals live licensed aestheticians. Usually I use the Simply Clean Gel cleanser but that's been out of stock for a couple months now (along with pretty much all of my other products) and I was in desperate need of a cleanser. I was hopeful it would be similar as far as cleaning my face goes and removing any impurities and makeup. Well, its definitely NOT similar (full disclosure I wear a light coverage liquid foundation). This cleanser was unable to remove my makeup after 4 washes. Would NOT recommend. It was also delivered in a box damaged beyond belief – as in there was water inside the cellophane wrap that encased the item and the shipping box looked like someone used it for soccer practice.a0622

This is my new favorite face wash. I was using the Cerave Foaming Cleanser for 5+ years.. but I was turned off by all the parabens and harsh chemicals in the formula. This sea foam wash does exactly what the Cerave did for my skin but without the harsh parabens AND this sea foam wash smells really good. I have combination Acne prone skin. Even in my adult years I’m prone to cystic acne and blackheads. I use the sea foam wash as the first step in my nighttime double cleanse to remove my sunscreen then I follow it with the wake up beautiful dream jelly cleanser. I’m obsessed with Pacifica skin care and I truly feel grateful to have found this amazing brand. Pacifica matches my morals and has great skin care for affordable prices. I’ve tried many face washes in my life, trying to find one that my problem skin will like. When I find one that agrees with it, I’m so happy! This is a refreshing, light face wash that leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. It starts as a gel, and with water, it turns into a foamy froth. It’s not as thick as a lather, and not bubbly, it’s just the right amount of foaminess to get that deep clean feeling. It has a light fragrance, but not super strong. I had my doubts while buying a foaming cleanser as I have very dry and sometimes dehydrated skin. Foaming cleansers aren't recommended for dry skin. Most of the reviews outside yesstyle have also stated that the pH of this cleanser is somewhere around 7 and cleansers with higher pH tends to be harsh and might react badly on sensitive skin. Before trying this one I used to double cleanse my face using foaming cleanser from one of the popular brands in Korea. It would rip all the natural oils and break me out over and over but I never realized it was the real culprit behind my breakouts and dried skin until I replaced it with this amazing cleanser. Holy grail! This was more hydrating than most of the moisturizers I have used. It cleansed my skin squeaky clean without drying it out and ripping the life out of it! I've been using this face wash for a month now and I really like it! It honestly feels like I haven't washed my face at all after using it. My skin is left super clean yet really hydrated without feeling tacky. I use it after oil cleansing and I feel like it hasn't made my combination skin oily at all. I was so excited to get this. I loved the packaging and I loved the idea of this product and it all made me feel very fancy getting it. I have oily skin and acne and was really hoping to love this product. I used it for the first time during a nighttime shower. I loved the tinge of color but immediately I noticed it was scented. I figured it would be okay and went through with washing my face. I loved the feel of the wash and I felt it did a great job cleaning without stripping. It was about 20 minutes after my shower through that I needed to go wash my face again because I could not stand the smell. I figured I used too much and I would use less and in the morning the next time. I thought it would be great to smell nice in the morning. I gave it a couple of days and then tried a smaller amount in the morning. It was the same. I lasted about 20 minutes before I needed a different face wash to help get rid of the scent of this one. I loved the way it cleaned my face, and I loved the packaging but I could not get over the scent. I didn't finish the bottle, and I won't. If you like heavily scented items, this is perfect for you but it's not for me.Dray1006
Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel has a smooth, light blue-hued texture that works well into my damp skin. Once massaged in, the gel texture rapidly changes into a semi-foamy lather. There's also a medium strength scent released, but I find it a pleasant experience as I am not sensitive to it. For heavy makeup application, I use this as my second cleanser in a double cleansing routine. However, it has also been a great standalone cleanser for everyday use when I am wearing very little or no makeup. I have non-sensitive combination skin and felt this easily left my face feeling cleansed without being stripped. My face feels incredibly soft afterwards too, which I love! Since I've begun using this both morning and night, I've noticed my skin is less oily overall, which helps to make my makeup last longer throughout the day. I have acne prone and combination skin. Along with this, I have sensitive skin at times so it's difficult for me to find products to put on my face that doesn't make me have a reaction such as redness burning or break outs. I really like the Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel because it is super gentle on my skin. It doesn't make my skin feel tight after I wash it off. It's a gel consistency but once massaged in your skin with water, it turns to a cream foam. It gets stubborn eyeliner offz to where I don't have to rub hard at all. A little bit goes a long ways. The smell is very light but super pleasant. My skin afterwards feel baby soft, smooth and fresh. I love the way it makes my skin feel. It gets all of the oil off and seems like my pores are slowly shrinking as well. The price point for this cleanser is super reasonable. I use this in the shower mornings when I first wake up for a refresher and evenings before bed to get all the dirt and makeup off my face. It's also good for body acne. My acne on my, shoulders seem to be drying out a bit and not oily as it used to be. I would highly recommend this product to anyone faving the same issues I had. 10/10 from me.Monica

I use this wash everyday day! It feels super refreshing on your skin! The packaging is super nice! It comes in a brown box and the product is easy to use. Its clear and a really light-weight cleanser. It suds up just enough and it leaves your face with a super clean refreshing feel. I use it every day. This Beauty face wash is pretty sticky coming out of the bottle. It reminds me of how messy honey/syrup can get because no matter how careful I am there will always be that sticky line that drips off. The color is a clear & yellow like gel. The bottle is fine that this product comes in but I just expected it too be bigger. You are instructed to use a pea size amount in your hand and this has not made much suds so it doesn't feel like a big foam like clean compared to other facial washes you can get. I haven't noticed my acne getting any better or any red parts of my skin clearing up. In fact after I use this face wash I have had to remove pimples that are popping out afterwards that I didn't even have before. It seems to make my skin have more trouble spots so this seems counteractive. My skin seems to get even more red after using this face wash as well. The scent of this smells just like mint toothpaste so that honestly threw me off a bit but it did smell pleasant. After using this my skin feels a bit tighter so I know that it cleans my skin because this is how other cleansing products make my face feel afterwards. That feeling quickly goes away though. I just wouldn't claim this soap is good for acne breakouts as it seems to give me more of that. This soap seems like it should just be a general type of face wash and not have a list of all these special benefits I haven't experienced. I'm willing to give this more use to see if it get's any better as time goes on but I don't have that much hope. I do like the fact that this is a more natural product as well. Usually I don't see these products for women and men so that can be useful for a couple to use together. This is the best face wash I have used so far. Smell is so nice. After using for the few days, I have started seeing the difference in my skin. It doesn’t dry out face too much.
