I've always bought the Costco Wahl clippers and they were sufficient for my needs. Why would I spend more money for expensive clippers? This Wahl Magic Clip exceeded my expectations. This is my first clipper , it's really great . Comes off as a quality product , very sharp . My hair was starting to grow abit long , ( i usually cut it down to 1cm length at the hairdresser ) and i cut it from maybe 10cm down to half a centimeter with this when i got it . Like i said it s really sharp but the engine do stall when you go to fast and the hair "clogs up" , but at the right "medium" speed it cut my hair like butter , when it was starting to grow abit long , and thick . I was surprised at how heavy it was and that it vibrates quite abit . It also lacks a good case for storage , so far i'm just using the plastic package it came in and i also dont have a place for it in a cabinet , i just have it on a shelf and if it were to drop to the floor it would have no protection . But i've read that one of wahl's goals is to make affordable quality clippers and the clipper itself is affordable and its quality . So i guess they have cut cost from selling it without a quality case . It also lacks a quality storage system for the plastic things to set the cutting length but i guess thats also to cut cost . So all in all i give this 5stars because it truly is an affordable quality clipper and i m sure i will use this for many years to come without any problems ! 🙂 Theyprobably could've charged twice as much for it and it still would be an acceptable price for the product But i'm probably gonna get myself one of these tiny "aluminium suitcases" for storage . If i remember correctly i ordered on a saturday night and i think it shipped to Norway from the UK the last day , within 24 hours . Did not think this item was anything special. Was recommended by my barber and it had good reviews. When trimming my beard it pulls a lot and I have to go over multiple times to get all the hair off.Ari

My Andis Envy Li rechargables are great. They are lightweight to manuver where needed. The attachment gaurds are easy clip on and off. It seems to me that Andis is the best brand on the market as well.JohnJohn

When I got these clippers I was not impressed by their cut by decided to give them some time to break in. 3 months later I'm so mad I did not return them. First of all, you are getting a model D8 trimer and model LCL clippers. They can both be bought individually and save dollars. Secondly, they do not cut very close. Bought to replace a 10 year-old corded trimmer (Wahl Super Taper – still going strong), this does the job but feels cheap and poorly finished in comparison. The motor is powerful and the blades cut well but had sharp points which drew blood when used unguarded – unlike the more rounded points of the Super Taper – a gentle filing smoothed them down, but shouldn't have been necessary. The cleverly colored blade guards were hard plastic and also had sharp ends that caught the skin – gentle filing fixed that too, but shouldn't have been necessary. The blade adjustment lever catches on the edge of the thin plastic body where the two halves join. The plastic body itself feels flimsy. The rubberised on/off switch doesn't properly engage unless pressed right in, so the motor will stop when you press it but start again when you release it if you didn't depress it far enough. So, I'm not really sure if I just got lucky, or if the instructions combined with the color coded guards made it happen- but wow. I surprised myself. My boyfriend needed a simple haircut, with a fade on the sides and this did the trick! I especially liked the ear guards, which made trimming around the delicate areas alot easier. I literally spent as much as he would on getting his hair cut, and bought trimmers that I can use to cut his hair instead! I love that it comes in a case to keep it all organized and together. Easy to use. Easy to pack up. Easy to maintain. Good results. After two to three uses, I became very comfortable with the device and can confidently provide at home haircuts similar to what my partner got at the salon (and better than what he got at a barber). Note: I only use the clipper around the lower portion of the head and I cut the top portions using the scissor/comb method. The clipper doesn't do fine detail or give a close shave (to really clean up the nape or side burns). Despite that, the clipper is an important part of my COVID haircut toolkit and has already paid for itself in terms of what my partner would pay for a haircut. The safety of knowing he can stay well-groomed without risk also makes the price of the clipper an exceptional deal. He has thick curly hair that grows quickly (up and out). Ive used Andis T-edgers for decades now. My last one literally fell apart while using it. I was plastic and Im a very busy hairstylistprobably dropped it a few times in its life. This one feels better in my hand. Still light but sturdier. A better shape to hold onto. It cost more than Ive paid in the past but Im feeling it will last longer. I bought these as barbers are now closed due to Covid 19 & I normally get my hair cut every fortnight. My missus used them on me & shed used a pair before. She did a great job with them even managing to blend with the lever on the side. These are sharp clippers & cut through your hair no problem. Personally Id recommend buying these over cheaper Wahls if youre planning on using them long term. Id recommend the Legends as a good quality clipper that will last. This thing is a beast. I bought this to trim body hair. It's a professional grade tool, took me half the time. Wow. Pay attention, this thing is sharp with a very powerful motor. I only gave it 4 Stars because the Andis Liners still works best for my coarse facial hair and the BaByliss do not come with guards. I am not a barber but enjoy cutting my own hair especially during these trying times. It has been almost impossible to find a reliable outlining true zero-gap trimmer. None of the lower priced trimmers did the job. I finally decided to put my money where my mouth is. This is truly a top of the line trimmer. I purchased this during a short price deal offer. The delivery and unboxing went fine, no quibble. I own a Wahl Balding clipper which I use primarily as a a bald shaver with limited haircutting duties so the Senior has effectively had to deliver the same service cordless. First task was to reset the blades to zero overlap. The result for the close cutting is only just acceptable compared to what the Balding does but the obvious advantage of the Senior is portability and convenience of mobility which almost makes up. Maybe Wahl should consider zero-overlap blades for the Senior or even a cordless Balding clipper for the future.Edwin E.

Both the trimmer and the foil shavers work flawlessly. I use the trimmers to start my bald fades and for my line ups and it works perfect, and the foil shavers bald out whatevers leftover. 10/10 would recommend this package deal to anyone. Love this handy little devil. I've had several electric razors over the years, but few have been as durable and easy to maintenance than the Peanut. Great for edging and cutting lines, but even better when I started shaving my head. This razor has held up for about 10 years and still cuts well. I used to use it 2 or 3 times a week. Now, I razor my head bald and use this anger once in a while if I don't shave for a week and need a quick cleanup. When I was using it a lot I would clean and oil it once a month, sometimes sooner. Only had one other pair of hair clippers and they were excellent, lasting nearly 17 years and used twiced weekly. Those clipprs were by Babyliss bought in a boot's chemist shop for jut £25. Having used the new Wahl Supertaper clippers they have the look and feel of quality. The don't have the cutting range that my Babyliss pair had but they do give a close even cut and are fine for me. My old clippers would take me down to skin and bone with the shorteset cut and is why I didn't used that setting. I would have liked a decent case to keep the clippers and accesories in safekeeping, in fact they came with no kind of case which was a bit disappointing. However, I can keep everything in the vinyl case that came with the old Babyliss clippers which still looks as new as it did all this years ago. If you want a completely bald look then the Supertaper won't give you that but for any other cut they will do the job very well. I would recommend these clipper.Noel a

Bought pivot pro andis tblade shape up clippers. Cannot wait for them to get here, but any barber stuff I try and stay in my lane with pricing. Never in a million years would I spend over a 100 on 1 pair, but 50 to 75 is a go for andis brand. They are a household name and are simply in every case, I believe a better product overall. Barber here! (been cutting for 5 years now and my first tool was a Wahl Designer) Wahl has the best entry level tools for any new Barber or someone wanting to cut their own hair. They dependably perform without the painful pulling, inconsistent power, or useless features of low quality clippers and trimmers. That being said, I prefer the power of the Andis T-Outliner but for the value you can't beat getting the Hero with this set. These machines need regular cleaning and oiling to operate at their best. I recommend sticking with the brand name oil (don't try and use other types of lubricant it can mess with the blade sharpness). Not winding the cord around the tool also helps keep the inner wiring from fraying prematurely- I use old plastic hollow rollers or Velcro straps to keep my cords tangle free. You won't regret buying this and if for some reason it doesn't perform it might be something as simple as oiling the blades.dhhayes

Lightweight, powerful. Solution to all my problems with a traditional cord clipper and all my oster blades from my cord model fir this new cordless model so I didn't have to go out and buy new ones. You pay more for the convenience of a cordless but it's so worth it. I use the clippers on at least 20 clients a day and it stays charged . well so far this has been fantastic! I've been using this for about a month now and I've seen a massive improvement in the thickness and density, softness, managablitliy and overall health of my hair. My hair has changed significantly over the years as I age, and I've got wiry curl in parts, frizz in others, and wiry Grey's down my part. my hair has been thinning more and more over the years as well, to the point where I'm needing to use dark eyeshadow on my scalp at the part line. I know this is working because I've no longer needed to do this step. I color my Grey's religiously, just the regrowth but thus I've sustained damage as a result. this product has been amazing for healing some of this as well. I have been trying to air dry my hair prior to using my Dyson flat iron, to minimize some of the damage, but the problem with air drying is that many products then feel as if there a coating left on my hair. I've been searching for products that don't do this, and Nioxin has delivered. it doesn't feel coated or weighed down it feels soft and full and smooth and absolutely perfect. it's rare I find something that I fall in love with and I really do love this system. I used this system some years back when I first noticed signs of thinning which worried me (too much hair coming out on my brush and in the shower). My hair salon suggested to me to try this and I have to admit it did help with the hair loss (it slowed down), but I never noticed any changes in regrowth or thickening which I was hoping I might achieve from continued use. I have been using this for years (female with dry, colored, thinning hair) and am so glad that it’s now at Sephora. I have long hair and you don’t need much of the shampoo or conditioner (I find I do need to use additional conditioning products because my hair is dry). The scalp spray is great for additional volume. I started losing volume in my 30, i was also experiencing hair loss/thinning at my hair line and consulted a dermatologist. I bought a laser hair cap that was ridiculously expensive and used it as directed for years and didn’t notice any difference. He also suggested a topical that I would have to apply daily and once stopped, I would most likely lose any hair that had grown back.
