It was so easy to assemble it and the only thing I had to assemble was the base and it took me about 4 minutes to get going. It has so many modes and learning about all these modes is pretty straightforward. What I really like about this fan is the timer feature and the sleep mode which allows me to set the time at night depending on my needs. Purchased just in time for a heat wave. LOVE the bladeless design! No more wind buffeting, for those sensitive to this phenomenon. I'm impressed by the fan levels also. We now use this when sleeping, and the timer is perfect for that, as is the extremely low volume, when using a lesser fan speed. Appreciate the dim LCD screen as well, for that purpose. I will say, just be careful during assembly not to tighten too much while using the thumb screws. Small gripe for a perfect fan though.hendrick
This fan is wonderful. It is quiet but very powerful . It has 6 speed and 3 mode. It also comes with a remote control. This tower fan comes with remote controller, I'm able to turn it on or off, change the wind speed, set the timing and modes without walking to the fan every time, or getting off my bed at night. I like this town fan, it works great to me. It works just as described. The fan openings are safe enough for kids, I don't need to worry about the children put their finger inside the fan. This “air circulator” is a step above a normal “fan” in both price and build. When it stopped working, I was going to return it to the manufacturer for a replacement but found the there was a fuse in the plug that had been tripped. Took it out and put it back in and it has worked fine ever since. The multiple speeds are great for both circulating the AC in the summer in a room, and for circulating the heat from the wood stove in the winter. The only thing I wish was different was that I could attach it to a smart plug to control when it comes on and off from a distance. Cutting the power to the outlet will turn it off, but restoring power will not turn it back on, you have to get up and push the on button every time once power has been cut off to it. I guess that is solved by the 665AE model that has Alexa compatibility.Brebro
I needed a good fan. I researched the heck out of fans that are suitable for my needs. I figured this was the right choice by what I read in reviews. What a good decision! Awesome fan! So powerful! Setting 1,2 and 3 are quite quiet, and yes the 4th setting is significantly louder than the 3rd. But that’s good for me! I like that white noise for sleeping, and I say if you’re in need of super power wind, 4th setting is awesome! I also look at the 4th option as a bonus setting, most fans I’ve had in the past has only had 3 settings. And visually, very pleasing! The way it turns all the way up, it’s amazing. We bought this a year ago when our a/c did not keep the house cool in the Georgia summer. We now use it nightly during the warmer months to help us sleep. It has absolutely saved us! I was hesitant to get the $99 one since there are smaller models and our house is small, but it’s very nice to be able to use the lower, quieter settings sometimes. On setting 1 or 2 in a 120-130sqft room, it is plenty effective and pleasantly quiet. I believe the claim that it makes the room feel 5 degrees cooler! It’s important to read the directions however – don’t treat it like a typical fan and try to point it right at you. We put it on the floor and point it at the farthest opposite ceiling corner, and after a minute or so you can feel the air circulating anywhere in a small room. We also occasionally use it on a higher setting in our living room, which is more like 250 sqft; works great, though slightly louder. Also, it’s straightforward to get the cover off and clean. I can’t recommend this fan enough. I wish I could take it everywhere I go!Smoop

This fan is a nice fan for a small room. What I like the best about this fan is how quiet it is. It does get a little loud when it is on the highest setting, but it is still quiter than most fans. The lower the speed setting, the quieter it is. There are five speeds, an oscillation, and a timer mode. The timer mode can be set for 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours. This fan doesn't cool very well since its speeds are so low. Even its highest speed setting is lower than I like. It doesn't cool a room very well unless the room is small. I like that it came with a remote, so I don't have to get up to turn it on or off. The slim design is nice since it doesn't take up that much space. It is sturdy for the most part, but it is easy for my kids to accidentally knock it over. The setup was easy and didn't require any tools.HannahSha
Honestly the best fan I have ever owned. Not only is it extremely quiet, it has so many other great things about it! This fan can cool your entire room! You can control the swivel if you want it faster, to turn and lock, slower, etc. It requires absoutely no tools to set up. (Perfect if your like me and own about 2). It was super easy to figure out! It has an auto timer, and dimming options for night time! Even comes equip with a handle if you want to take it to each room your in. (Pratically weighs nothing if you can't carry much.) I love everything about this fan, but my favorite part is it has a remote control! You can of course pre-set your timer to turn it off, but if you get hot in the middle of the night (or cold) you can switch it off with the remote rather than getting out of bed! Honeywell has a large line in home climate controls. The QuietSet tower fan is very impressive for its overall size. The tower is narrow and takes up very little floor space. The top controls are easy to understand and use. The included remote control is definitely handy. There are 5 different speeds, a timer and rotation options.The fan is super quiet. Even on highest setting the noise is very low compared to high air circulation. The only piece I dont love is the base. While it does make the unit more modern looking, it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's only functionality is to give the fan more height to increase where the air reaches. While most people generally read instructions before using, at the very least read the tag attached. There is a red nut that needs to be removed from the fan bottom when you take it out of the box. Without it the fan will not stay on the base. The base also comes in 2 pieces you have to snap together. Again, I'm not a fan of this base. It seems like an afterthought and I really wish Honeywell opted for a solid attached base.Katz76

We installed SmaFan ceiling fans (via Kickstarter) in our previous home in 2019, and loved them, so when we began remodeling another home, we only wanted SmaFan for our new home. First, the SmaFans look great! Importantly, however, the fans also function beautifully. The fan motors and fan blades operate very quietly, even at the highest speed. The fan is very stable (no wobble), regardless of the speed and/or direction of the blades. The number of different speed choices allows the fan to provide just the right amount of airflow, depending on the situation. Also, the two choices for Light Appearance (warm white or cool daylight) combined with the ten (10) different brightness settings of the light allow the SmaFan to produce the proper style and amount of light for any function. Finally, both the remote and the Carro App are intuitive and easy to use, making it simple for anyone to properly adjust the fan for maximum comfort. Nevertheless, despite all of this, the fans also look great and can blend into any room. For us, it is important for the fan to simply be a part of the room, and not stand out, dominate the landscape, or negatively impact the design. Like the Groom’s mother at a wedding – the fan should look stunning (without clashing), function efficiently, and not be the center of attention – SmaFan delivers on all counts. We bought the 52-inch Carro smart fan with dimmable light, which we like to control with the spiffy remote we keep on a table between our two reading/TV chairs. I didn't know anything about this company but I found them in my search to replace my 2 old ceiling fans from early 2000s. Most fans I came across were either ugly or very expensive, but Smafan had a lot of nice designs and the price was right. I ended up with a single Icebreaker Outdoor 60'' Smart Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit. I needed an electrician to install with scaffolding but I've seen the instructions and it's pretty easy DIY if you can reach your ceiling and have 1 person to help. The fan operates very quiet even on max speed and moves a lot of air and the light is both dimmable and color temperature adjustable among some other nice features. The only tricky part was connecting to the app, it requires you to switch your phone's wifi connection to 2.5G then pair, then you can switch back to whatever network you use. I've never used another smart device that requires that so it's a bit strange, but if you follow the instructions it's clear. Also there is no beeping sound to notify you it is in pairing mode as written in the instructions, only a red light (maybe my model does not have?). This connected to my Google Home Assistant with no issues. Anyways I'm not going to remove a star for the app pairing as it did not affect my satisfaction with the product, but if there were something improve about this product I would look at that. This Ozeri Tower Fan has surpassed any fan that I have ever owned. We have a couple of tower fans, but none compare to this fan. This fan stands 44 inches tall and has a glass base. It came packaged in two pieces yet was very easy to put together. All you have to do is remove the fan from the packaging, remove the plastic nut from the stand pole, assemble the two halves of the nase, and lock it into position with the nut. It comes with a remote control that can operate the fan from up to 20 feet away. The fan has 3 modes of operation, Normal, Nature, and sleep. You just touch the mode button to cycle between these modes. It also has a swing function that will let the fan swing from side to side in a 90 degree arc. The timer function will turn the fan off automatically after running up to 7 1/2 hours. The fan is also equipped with the ability to turn each of the three different fans off or on. It is cold here in Kentucky right now, however, I use this fan to circulate the heat throughout the house and it does a wonderful job distributings the heat. Another great feature is that it has a place in the back of it to store the remote when not in use, that way you always know where to find it. If you aren't going to be using the fan for a while, remove the batteries. It has a fuse that is located in the plug, so if for some reason the fan loses power, unplug the fan and check to make sure the fuse hasn't blown. I could go on and on about this fan but there is not enough words to describe how great it works. Never plug this fan into a power strip or use an extension cord with this fan because these devices could create electric and/ or fire hazards. When not in use make sure that the fan is unplugged. This fan should only be used inside your home, never on the outside of the home or in any commercial, industrial or agricultural setting. The tower fan is white with 3 black circle fans. The top of the fan contains a black touch screen and is where all of the function buttons located. The base is a round glass base that sits on 5 silver metal cylinder feet. The fan tapers down to a silver metal tube that is connected to the base. The tower fan has blue LED strip located at the bottom of the white base that indicates that the fan is on. The black top area of the fan where the function buttons are located is also lite up showing what mode and speed the fan is set on. The 3 fans can be used together or separately depending on your personal preferences or needs. The fan also comes with a remote control that is quite responsive even from across the room. The tower fan offers 3 wind speeds which are high, medium and low. It also has 3 wind modes which are sleep, nature and normal. The fan does oscillate to a 90 degrees or it can stay locked in one position. The fan measures about 44 inches and weighs about 12 ½ lbs. The fan comes unassembled, but takes less than 5 minutes to take out of box to start up. Overall, this fan is by far the best fan I have even owned. It is the quietest fan I have ever owned. Though, I have never owned a fan that was completely quiet and I believe that would be unrealistic. The fans offers 3 modes with the first one being a normal setting where the fan works continuously at the speed one of the 3 speeds. I should have listened to the negative reviews. If you're looking for a fan that you gotta put 6 inches from your face to feel any sort of breeze on the highest setting, then go for it. Otherwise, spend a few more dollars and get a fan that actually works. Not only does it not blow, but the air is actually warm. I've had this fan for three months and I love it so much. It is the best and most beautiful fan we have ever had. First, it has a small footprint and is so elegant and well designed that it can sit anywhere in the room, even on top of the coffee table, and look beautiful and unobtrusive. This fan is a nice fan for a small room. What I like the best about this fan is how quiet it is. It does get a little loud when it is on the highest setting, but it is still quiter than most fans. The lower the speed setting, the quieter it is. There are five speeds, an oscillation, and a timer mode. The timer mode can be set for 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours. This fan doesn't cool very well since its speeds are so low. Even its highest speed setting is lower than I like. It doesn't cool a room very well unless the room is small. I like that it came with a remote, so I don't have to get up to turn it on or off. The slim design is nice since it doesn't take up that much space. I have mixed feelings with this machine. I bought 2 of them one directly from Dyson (as I do with most of my Dyson products, 3 out of the 8 were bought at retail stores). Customer service is less than stellar these days, difficult to contact them, and I'm not too sure their records are accurate. I bought these a day apart with the Best Buy unit arriving the day before the Dyson bought one. I had difficulty registering my Best Buy purifier with Dyson for warranty. Then after a months worth of use the fault code for a filter needing to be replaced appeared on the unit that came directly from Dyson. I couldn't find out what code F6 was for, I looked in the manual, Dyson's website, tried searching it (as usual more crap came up in searches than actually what I was looking for). After calling Dyson customer service is the only time I could find out what it meant. So after a months worth of use they are going to send me a new filter! I was told it probably was a defective filter, as they should last up to 2 years. Well I can believe maybe 6 months to a year but we shall see. As a whole I do like them, they move quite a bit of air with very little noise, even on the highest speed setting it's not loud like a regular fan would be. The air in the rooms we have these seems to be fresher than previously without them. We'll see what long term results for these are, but as of right now there is no 5th star as my other Dyson products.JnJfl
Everything about the machine itself functioned properly. The main issue I had was that there are no controls on the tower itself besides an on/off button, so without the remote you couldn’t control anything. The batteries in the remote only lasted about a week. Batteries are way too expensive to change that much! I called Dyson support but they were adamant about troubleshooting and I wasn’t home at the time. I tried to explain there wasn’t really troubleshooting to be done because the remote either worked or it didn’t. Really I just wanted to know if it was expected to have to replace the batteries that much and they wouldn’t even answer that question. I decided the fight wasn’t worth it and returned this machine.Autumn
Do people actually read what Dyson says about their products before buying? Reading through the reviews makes me wonder. I was surprised by how well this unit performed. Even my husband who smells *everything* complimented the air quality in the master bedroom where the dog stays. i didn’t get it for the fan function but it blows pretty strong at 10. Is it as strong as my actual floor fan? No. But dyson tells you it’s not a conventional fan. I don’t understand the reviews saying it’s so loud they can’t stand it. It’s ridiculously quiet.
