Well, I had not wanted to try this because of the price. I finally gave in and I'm glad I did. This is so different than drugstore sprays (even the pricier one there). The first difference I notice is the smell. I try not to breath in when I use it, but still I can tell the smell is more pleasant and doesn't have a strong "chemical" smell like the ones I've used in the past. I wash my hair at night, so I use this spray in the morning after I've done my quick refresh routine. Leaves my hair with a bit of hold but not hard, shine and helps frizz. Hopefully the price doesn't increase so I can keep using it.

I have been looking for 5 years now for a replacement for my HG hairspray Redken Pure Force 16 since they discontinued it. I had high hopes for this one because it was Non-Aerosol which I prefer and was suppose to hold well. I will say the hold was ok. But I had 2 problems with it this hairspray. First, the smell. Super Strong and smell lasted all day. Not chemical smelled almost herbal. And second it went on very wet and took a long time to dry down. So for a person like me with short, fine hair it just weighed my hair down. In addition, when I purchase it in the store I noticed that on one of the bottles the pump was broken. I was recently searching for a new hairspray to replace one that I loved that was discontinued. After much trial, error, and expense, I discovered Kenra 25 in aerosol form. I have always used a pump, so the aerosol took some getting used to, but this was absolutely the best hair spray I have ever used. I was at Ulta one day and I walked by the Kenra display to see if the brand was on sale when I spotted the non-aerosol form of Kenra 25 in a pump bottle. I had no idea this existed! There was only one bottle, so I quickly grabbed it and checked out. When I got home, I wanted to test it out and, unfortunately, it wouldn't pump. I know this is a concern with the aerosol and I learned that if you store it upside down, it keeps the nozzle from clogging. I turned the bottle upside down, gave it a few pumps, and it worked. It sprayed out a little thick at first and I've learned that a little goes a long way. The non-aerosol has more staying power that the aerosol and I feel like I have a few more seconds to style before it dries. This has SERIOUS staying power, so if you like extreme hold, this is it! Really good hairspray from WOW. It does hold the hair without that solid, heavy feel on the hair. It does reduce frizz, in damp weather, but doesn't eliminate it. Hair isn't dry, after using this product, it brushes out easily and won't distort colour (if your hair is coloured). Would recommend. A little pricey, compared to other brands, but it does last a long time as you don't need to use a lot of the product. Plus, discounts on Look Fantastic so bonus!
I received this product complimentary from COLOR WOW in exchange for my honest review. This is the closest runner up I’ve found to my favorite hairspray. The shine and sheen it provides is so great without feeling greasy like other products. The hold is definitely not firm though. It is a much more flexible hold. It doesn't dull your hair at all and doesn't leave any residue or build-up, very brushable, as advertised. However, my nozzle quickly got backed up when I still had about 1/3 product left and I tried everything I could to fix it to no avail. I researched this product and it seems like a lot of people have the same issue. I contacted Color Wow directly about this and I asked if I could purchase a replacement cap. Unless you live in the UK, I'd recommend choosing another hairspray because they will only send a replacement cap if you're based outside of the UK, and you can't purchase a replacement cap anywhere. Even though I do like this hairspray, for the price, this is a big con for me and there are many other hairsprays on the market that I'm sure can do a similar or better job that have better caps that don't get permanently backed up.beetle

In case the hole was plugged, I have cleaned it under hot water (as I would any hairspray that gets clogged) and no change. I have used Kenra hairsprays for 30+ years and the salons that I have frequented during that time have always carried this line because it works! I especially like the variety of sprays designed for all hair types AND needs. When I worked, I would use a firmer hold formula for my fine hair, but started to use their Medium Perfect hold after retirement because it has a lighter hold, but still enough hold to give body to my hair. In addition, it does not leave a sticky residue, maintains your natural shine, and does not have an annoying scent that would cause me to have any allergic reaction to any of their products. To whom it may concern: After using Umberto's regular hold hairspray for about 10 years, I was forced to find a new product when they Umberto discontinued their spray last year. After lots of looking and research I landed on Kenra's Artformation hairspray and initially was very pleased. Artformation provided good hold while not making my hair sticky or plastered-looking. Unfortunately, more often than not, I can't actually get the Artformation out of the can to actually use it. The Artformation spray can is fundamentally flawed. In the past year I have purchased 5-6 Artformation spray cans and have not been able to fully use any of them. The spray nozzle has ceased to spray on everyone of these cans, usually with more than half a can of hairspray left. I was so fed up with this that I took a can back to Ulta last week that had stopped working after about 10 uses. The salesperson at Ulta told me she uses the same Kenra spray and has the same problem. She kindly exchanged my hairspray for another can of Ulta Artformation that has stopped spraying after 2 uses. I have tried all the tricks to get the sprayer working again…running it under hot water, soaking it in hot water, rinsing the nozzle after each use, etc. While this does work sometimes, the nozzle will still eventually cease to spray at all. Not to mention, I don't want to have to soak my hairspray every time I want to use it. Kenra you have a great product. I suggest you change your nozzle so people can actually use it. I will be returning this new can to Ulta again and asking them to help me find another brand that works like your Artformation with a better nozzle. I have used Kenra hairsprays for 30+ years and the salons that I have frequented during that time have always carried this line because it works! I especially like the variety of sprays designed for all hair types AND needs. When I worked, I would use a firmer hold formula for my fine hair, but started to use their Medium Perfect hold after retirement because it has a lighter hold, but still enough hold to give body to my hair. In addition, it does not leave a sticky residue, maintains your natural shine, and does not have an annoying scent that would cause me to have any allergic reaction to any of their products. To whom it may concern: After using Umberto's regular hold hairspray for about 10 years, I was forced to find a new product when they Umberto discontinued their spray last year. After lots of looking and research I landed on Kenra's Artformation hairspray and initially was very pleased. Artformation provided good hold while not making my hair sticky or plastered-looking. Unfortunately, more often than not, I can't actually get the Artformation out of the can to actually use it. The Artformation spray can is fundamentally flawed. In the past year I have purchased 5-6 Artformation spray cans and have not been able to fully use any of them. This is definitely a decent hair spray. It didn't really do a great job of holding my hair but honestly I've always had trouble getting my hair to hold no matter what hairspray I'm using so that's likely my hair's fault. It also didn't make my hair crunchy or anything. However, I just cannot stand the smell of this for some reason. Seems like in other reviews people loved the smell but it was not for me. I have a really sensitive smell and would have to hold my breathe when using this product and hated that I could still smell it in my hair afterward. To each their own I guess. Definitely suggest buying the travel size to try it out if you're on the fence. Might work for some people but I personally won't be buying again.Abby
I don't normally use hairspray and that's because a lot of them are either too shiny or too sticky or leave build-up. So I needed to buy a hairspray this time to hold down flyaways when I wear an up do. This hairspray holds your hair down, it is not shiny. It is Matte. It is not heavy. It's not sticky and later on it's totally brushable. It's actually the perfect hairspray. It does its job and stays in its lane.😜G
I stupidly & impulsively chopped off my hair recently & worse went to a new stylist who did a really crappy job! I have fine wavy hair & a lot of it. Thank you chickadvisor that i had a chance to be selected to try out the got2b flex insta hold hairspray. I always love to style my hair alot of the time, i usually curl my hair and add a little bit of a touch of temporary hair color to it, the spray is fragranced which is great for me, i usually more of a person that tend to buy hairsprays that has a good smell of fragrances to it, but not to overpowering. The mist is so fine, it isnt like your squirting a whole big chunk to your hair, which i have experienced that from my other hairspray. this leaves your hair feeling soft, no stickiness and residue feeling but not just that, its also lightweight too. it holds onto my curls and my temporary hair color which stayed on for a very long time. I find it very easy to comb your hair even with the hairspray on, i fell in love immediately after using the product, i absolutely love it! I recieved this product free as a member of the product review club. This is my honest review and opinions. I love the bright colors and packaging of this hairspray. That was the first thing I noticed. You get a generous amount of product and it is easy to store, unlike some hairspray cans that are really bulky. This one is slim and doesn't waste space. Most of the package is the container and the lid is just big enoughI don't use hairspray often because I have fine hair and it always seems to end up crunchy or sticky or weird looking. I have had none of those problems with this one ! It sprays in a nice fine mist so your hair doesn't get weighed down with too much product at first. This is my new fave hairspray and i am not afraid to use it almost every day. It gives you a light, flexible hold that is great for holding curls and keeping fly aways in place. You can still brush your hair and it moves naturally but your style is protected. I also love the smell of this ! It doesn't smell like alcohol and the scent is not too strong, but I really like it and so does my boyfriend lol. Hey guys!! Quick back story. I have long 3b curly hair, and I'd say it's rather on the fine side. So usually when I do my hair I dont use hair spray at all. I mostly use a flax seed gel I make self. But since I got to try this product complimentary I had to give it a try! My first thoughts are the colors of the bottle are cute and simple. The smell is soft and floral. Once I applied the product on my hair I thought my hair would feel really stiff and gross but surprisingly it held my hair in a light weight way without over drying it or being to stiff and making my hair appear flat. So that was already an "A" in my books! The only thing I'd say I didnt like was how the product felt in my hair the next day, it felt like I had alot of build up but again I'm use to using less and home made products that dont havee much products in them so I'd say I still enjoyed this product for a back up when I run out of my flax seed gel. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]I have naturally wavy hair, not fully on curly, but always looking for something new to try as I prefer to embrace the waves vs straightening my hair. In trying this product, I did a side-by-side comparison with my current product (a different brand of mousse). I applied the Curl Defining Cream on one side of my head, and my everyday mousse on the rest of my hair. I scrunched and let them both air dry. The Curl Defining Cream has a very strong scent, too much for my liking, though Im scent sensitive, so take that for what you will. I thought the smell might dissipate as my hair dried. It did not. Im actually tempted to go rinse that section of hair out to help tame the scent. Outside of the scent, its a decent product. My hair didnt hold as much wave as it did with the mousse, but it did dry soft, and not tangible with less frizz than if I used no product at all. While there is less wave than I prefer, the waves look soft and pretty, not some weirdness that sometimes happens where the whole side of my head wants to do the same thing vs. having some separation. Im guessing thats the defining aspect. Overall a decent product, and may work even better on actually curly hair. Just beware the fragrance if you are scent sensitive at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]I was nervous when using this the first time. There arent any instructions on how much to use so you basically have to figure it out as you go. I used a generous amount since this is a cream, and I havent had as much success with curl creams in the past. Anyway, I lightly towel-dried my hair and then applied from roots to tips, scrunched my hair (to coax the curls) and let it work its magic. Halfway through drying, I noticed some pieces were frizzing up, so I applied a tad more of the Ultra Light Curl Defining Cream along with a bit of water. The next day I woke up to defined voluminous shiny curls. They were a bit stiff but quickly softened with just a bit of raking my hands through my hair. I was excited at first. The following day, my curls looked limp and dry. There was no way I was applying more of this cream ("to refresh" per the instructions), as my hair felt heavily weighed down with the curl cream already. For reference I have fine, curly, frizzy hair. I will say, the curl cream smells great and performed better than other curl creams Ive used in the past. I think next time, I will try using a bit of this curl cream, and then applying my go-to mousse because I LOVE that this curl cream doesnt contain any silicones or alcohol (so hard to find that in hair products these days!). My hair is difficult, so it may work better on others as a stand-alone cream.
While I do wish there were an unscented version of this, (please please please Kristin Ess!), I L O V E this stuff and pray to the Holy Squirrels they never stop making it. I buy 2-3 bottle at a time out of sheer terror it will be discontinued. I don't know how this works so well, but it tames frizzy hair, separates curls a bit and adds volume but not too much. I have long, fairly thin, fine hair that has natural wave and frizzes if air-dried. After I curl it with a curling iron into loose curls, I turn my head upside down and lightly spray all over, then flip up and lightly spray the top to calm any fly-aways. ADORE this stuff! p.s. Again, please make unscented, dear Kristin! If fragrance bothers you, you may hate this, but I don't mind the scent. I rather like it, but it's strong.Sabrina

I have used this particular hair spray for years and years. But now Tresemme decided to change the formula. It doesn't hold my hair, but simply makes it hard and stiff and it's almost impossible to get a comb or brush through it without ripping out a lot of my very fine and thin hair. It is also extremely difficult to shampoo this hair spray out of my hair. I don't shampoo my hair every day because it is so dry, so I end up with a day or two of hair spray built up in my hair, which doesn't totally wash out. The build-up is awful. I'm so very sorry that Tresemme made this formula change. Please, Tresemme, bring back the old formula, otherwise, I do not recommend that anyone buy this product. We bought this product for my cousins wedding. My wife did her hair and it looked amazing. It held up all night. I tried to help my wife brush out the tangles when we got home. From 11:20pm to 1:15am I brushed which made it better than worse, scrubbed tried to remove the product, used shampoo, and even dawn dish soap. Nothing was getting it out and all brushing did was make it worse. The product made her hair crunchy which is why we were trying to get it out. We are now at a salon as they attempt to get this out of her hair without having to cut any off… 0/10 would not recommend this product. Will be reaching out to customer support Monday. I was using a pricey kerastace hairspray for years that was discontinued. Desperate for a replacement, I bought a number of brands. This was the clear winner.. I love this. I have fine hair. I need a strong spray that doesn’t look or become sticky, and one that lasts the entire day, whether it’s windy, hot….. For the past year or so, my hair has returned to a state of greasy last seen when I was a teenager decades ago. Add in that I have hyper sensitive skin and scalp and it has been a frustrating battle. I would no sooner wash my hair and the minute it was dry I could feel the grease. Trying sensitive shampoos meant to degrease only led to a dry itchy scalp and persistent grease. I recalled using Paul Mitchel products in my twenties. I was both excited and apprehensive because my skin is much more sensitive these days. The shampoos, as far as I could tell, did not specify sensitivity. I choose what I felt would balance my hair since that is what the description stated. The conditioner being Super Skinny. I used just the smallest amounts to start as a means to test for any reactions. No reactions and my hair has not felt this clean and itch less in so long. I really tried to get used to this hairspray because I loved how it worked with my fine hair. Great hold, not sticky, no residue. But the smell is so overpowering, I can't do it anymore. I want to say it smells just like patchouli, but I'm not even sure. It's an incredibly perfume-y smell that lingers. I'd having coughing fits after using it and it gave me headaches. This hairspray is a good buy. It lasts all day and it is easily brushed out without getting greasy. I have greasy hair so I always have problems with hairspray. I either have to spray too much to get it to hold and then it gets greasy or I have to spray too little so it won't be greasy and then it doesn't hold. This is just right. The price tag is definitely a little steep compared to other hairsprays, but I would rather use this than most professional brandsjasmine.v

I use this for finishing the hold is very good flexible, not stiff or sticky. I have thick, coarse hair that I love to style into beachy waves. I also live in South Texas and the humidity is out of this world. This hairspray makes my waves last perfectly for 2+ days all while leaving my hair soft, smooth and all while perfectly holding my style. I have been a Redken girl for 30 plus years. Full force 23 hairspray is my go to hairspray and has been the only hairspray I used for years. I have fine thick hair that is Iong and I love big volume hair. I start with a Redken shampoo & conditioner and then use my Redken styling products. I have all kinds products but we will not go into that. I am not going to give all my secret away!! I can have whatever look I want for the day straight, teased for volume or even beach hair style. Then I use my full force 23 hairspray to finish the style. This hairspray will let me go as long as day is 8 hours or 16 hours with having to reapply over and over againTracy

I wasn’t a fan of this product. I know it doesn’t claim to be an anti-frizz product, but that’s what I look for in any product that claims to have any sort of hold. The hold feels a little more crunchy and brittle than I’d prefer (and I like crunch because it keeps the style longer). My hair has a natural shine because it’s well moisturized normally. I don’t see any shine in it at all. It takes a while for me to apply products to my hair because I section it. I was really surprised that I could still brush through my hair once the product was evenly distributed, because of the fast drying claim. I don’t understand how this would have a layering feature since it’s just hair spray. It either works or it doesn’t. Applying more shouldn’t make a product work better (in my opinion). Maybe I just don’t understand that concept. My hair does not feel soft at all. In fact, as soon as I finish this review, I’m going to re-wash my hair making sure to deep condition to revert any perceived damage to my moisture/protein balance.
I barely use maximum hold hair spray because my hair get cranky once I accidentally touch. I use this when I tie my hair and need to hold side of my hair. Before I tie my hair, I use paste which I got with this spray. Then I use spray where I need to be hold after I tie my hair. I am not sure this one comes with smaller size but I got huge size. This will last a long time. I researched and Japanese salon hair products is most effective then US salon lines is the second, Japanese drugstore hair products comes third then US drugstore products. But for these years US products has been changed a lot. I never repurchased shampoo and hair treatment but yes I did repurchase a cure line pureology after I tried with Influenster. I wish these salon quality products are less expensive but I could not stop my self buying…. Truly great products!!junko.t
Omg let’s just say this hairspray is the bombest I’ve ever used before. It doesn’t leave a bit of a white cast residue or make your hair flaky at all. It holds your hair in place all day long and it doesn’t make it super stiff hard feeling either. It smells really nice not to overwhelming. You don’t need to spray a lot to keep your hair the nice style you want to keep all through out your day. It gives your hair a really nice beautiful vibrant shine. It’s very fast drying and it’s still easy to brush your hair after using it. This is a very high end great quality hairspray that everyone needs to tryout because I guarantee that you will never want to use any other kind again once you get your hands on this one!!
