I really love this cleaner, I got the lemon scent and it smells really great. I love that it doesn’t smell of chemicals. We have an elderly dog that sometimes has accidents on our wood floors (misses pee pads) and this cleaner is great at mopping that up. Unfortunately for the price I think the bottle is just too small. I use it nearly every day on my floors and this little bottle is not going to last a month. When I can buy a large bottle of vinegar for a few dollars I’m not sure I can justify spending $12 on something so small. If the bottle was larger or the price was cheaper I’d be buying this all the time. Plus the way my husband pours in cleaner, I nearly had a heart attack. I have light pine colored laminate flooring and everything I have used in the past has left a sticky residue or a streaky finish. This product did NOT leave a residue and left a shiny, clean (non-streaked) finish! I am so pleased! I had read some of the negative reviews about smell and am happy to report the only smell I could detect was fresh and clean (I bought the lemon kind!). I diluted 1 oz in 1 gallon of warm water and it made a wonderfully pleasing sudsy bucket of cleaner that dried quickly and to a perfect finish. I always use method for wooden floors and the smell does last. Thought I'd give this a go because I love the smell of lemon. Its brought up all the floors (wooden, lino and tiles) lovely but I can't smell it even though my father reckons he can. Like all method products it does what it says. If I could give this no stars, I would. This product leaves HORRIBLE build up. We have spent the last month on our hands and knees scraping build up off my wood floors with pizza cutters. I bought this cleaner and the Bonz mop because I thought it was a well known brand. Not only does it leave my floors sticky it also does a poor job of cleaning them. I have had to remop the floors because of stickiness with a different product and discovered my floors were still dirty as the residue left was picked up on the second mop head. Very disappointed in this Bona cleaning solution, leaves sticky residue on floors. Also product causes my Braava M6 mops, to blow bubbles when tank is low. Mop will continue to run, blowing bubbles, not spraying floor, but will not return to base to tell you to fill tank. Also when I remove tank to refill, the filter basket below tank is also full of bubbles. I am very concerned this product will cause the spray lines and spray nossle to become clogged. I bought 2 cases of this solution not realizing it was not similar solution to old cleaning solution. I wish I had taken a picture of both mops with bubbles running down front of mop, spray was unable to spray only blowing bubbles when tank low. I washed out both tanks, and refilled tanks with old solution, which I luckily have a few bottles left. IRobot Please bring back the old cleaning solution ASAP. Thank you!

The first problem is, the bottle is huge and it takes up way to much space under the cabinet especially if you purchase a second one to stock up. Second, you are paying for mostly water. If you do the cost analysis compare to the product it replaced you would see its not a goos deal. Third, it is a real pain to fill the tank because the product foams up as you fill the tank. You have to wait for the suds to subside before you cam continue filling the tank.Last, filling the tiny tack with a bottle as large as this one makes it easy to spill and expensive product like this one.David

I’ve actually been using this for years before I discovered Grove. I have a house full of antique hardwood floors, so not sealed. I use the Bona mop system for daily cleaning because it was recommended by flooring experts. But, when a deeper cleaning is needed, that product falls short. Method floor cleaner for wood has enough safe, gentle surfactants to get the floor really clean, especially if there’s a really dirty spot or some mysterious sticky spill. The almond scent is not overpowering. It’s not my favorite scent. But, it’s not objectionable. I do truly wish Method made refills since the plastic squirt bottle would be easily reusable. I used to use Murphy’s wood oil cleaner but have seen a lot of negative comments about their new formula so I figured I would try this and I’m impressed! When I lived in a house with almost all hardwood floors there was a lot of sweeping and mopping involved to keep them looking good. As a fan of method products and environmentally-friendly items in general I immediately bought and started using method's Almond Squirt and Mop Hardwood Floor cleaner in conjunction with their now-defunct O-Mop. Yes this squirt and mop liquid was environmentally friendly and smelled lovely. Yes it was easy enough to find at the local Target and even in some grocery stores. That being said it was good really only for a quick touch-up or spot-clean. I still had to get on my hands and knees with a cloth to remove any type of dried stain. It also didn't leave the floors with any type of long-lasting shine like Murphy's Oil Soap did. Eventually I stopped buying this method hardwood floor cleaner and returned to Murphy's Oil Soap. I have tile floors only in a few rooms of my house and used to use a steam mop to clean them. The hassle of steam mopping meant that I didn’t get around to cleaning them as often as I should, so I decided to go back to basics and try a spin mop with this Method cleaner and I’ve been really happy with the results. Two of the rooms are visible from a staircase – meaning I can get a great eye-level view of any scum on the ground as I go up and down the stairs. Since using this Method cleaner I’ve noticed a marked difference in the cleanliness of the floors. It obviously helps that I’m actually mopping, but it really cleans any spills very well. In a bathroom that often had marks from lotion and hair products that the steam mop couldn’t touch I now see shining floors every day! It also smells very, very good. Although I'm still not crazy about some of Method's ingredient choices, I really love how well this product works and how time-saving it is compared to other methods. I typically use water, vinegar and some essential oils on our faux wood plank vinyl and stone tile, and occasionally some dish soap for rougher days, along with a Rubbermaid Reveal Mop several times a week. Once a month, I do the same, only with our Mopnado for a deeper cleaning. However, I feel that this product gets or floors just a touch cleaner than homemade, or even many conventional, floor cleaners. I occasionally use this as directed (squirting directly) when the floor needs a lot of help, typically when our Instant Pot (a.k.a Magic Cauldron) spews whatever deliciousness it holds while quick releasing, but I find that directly squirting can sometimes leave a slight residue. Otherwise, I usually prefer to dilute this in the Rubbermaid Reveal mop bottle, using about a 1/4 cup or less and filling the rest with warm water to spray as I mop, which works great, doesn't leave residue, and it stretches out the product more while diluting some of the ingredients I'm not too keen on. Best of all, I love the Lemon Ginger scent, which I was worried about since Method's almond-scented products are way too overpowering for me. I plan to try Spearimint Sage as well. Between the fresh yet light lemon scent that's not at all like Pinesol, and the effectiveness and ease-of-use of the product, it's enough that I feel more motivated to mop more regularly. LOVE this hard floor cleaner! My favorite scent is the Ginger Yuzu, I can see why they're often sold out of this scent. I had to try it after reading all the reviews and one woman wrote "she loves the scent of Ginger Yuzu so much, she finds herself wanting to mop the floors more often" and I thought, I could use some of that motivation! It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. My laminate floors are now going on approximately 12 years old and while I have spin mopped them weekly over the years and they seemed to be clean, I discovered with my new Bissell Crosswave X7 cordless Pet Pro and this Bissell Multi-Surface Floor Cleaning Formula, my floors were no way as clean as I thought they were. It takes so little of this formula to clean my floors to a shinning bright clean, and it also left my floors and room smelling so good and fresh. The Crosswave X7 takes the dirty water and stores in a different tank that the clean water, and when I took it out to empty it, I was so shocked to see this awful, nasty dirty water that came off of my floors, it even had mud laying in the bottom of the tank! I have hardwood floor in half of my house. I have been using swifter wetjet for quite some while. When I was given a chance to try out their 2X faster dry solution, I know I had to see how good it was. I am quite surprised after using it. It does what it says. I also have an infant and the mess they make while eating is nothing to compare it to. Cleaner works great – I have hand-scraped laminate that has more of a satin finish to it. It's dark in color and shows every spec of dust and every toe print. I usually just clean with a damp sponge mop but I think my mother used something else on the floor and it's been looking dull and like there is a film over it. I've tried about every cleaner made for laminate and they all left streaks. What did I have to lose in trying Rejuvenate? To my surprise it actually did the trick. Removed the film and didn't leave streaks….as long as you go with the grain. In a short hallway I had to go across the grain and I noticed that it did lightly streak in that area, but you had to really scrutinize to see them. I just purchased my first Rejuvinate mop kit at Lowes. I have tried too many cheap mops and pads over the past several years. Most are too bulky to use and they never give me the shine I'm looking for. Many have cheap, oversized pads that flop around making it difficult and frustrating for me. I use this pretty regularly on our hardwoods. Between kids, muddy dogs, a husband that works construction and tracks EVERYTHING inside, and a constant flow of family visiting our house on a regular basis…I spend a lot of time trying to make sure our floors aren't totally disgusting. I've used another variation of Aunt Fannie's floor cleaner, but it smelled very vinegar-y. I didn't totally hate it, but when I got this version of their floor cleaner I was pleasantly surprised at how good it smells! I added this into my cleaning regimen recently. I use this solution when I mop “the old fashioned way” and a different solution to spot clean with a bona mop. I used the bona/other solution yesterday – floors appear clean. I mopped for real today with Aunt Fannie’s – the water after I was done was SHOCKING and oddly satisfying. Recieved this about 3 weeks ago and just got around to using it and boy am I pleased! Used it in my Powerdash on my new flooring and my whole room is clean and smelling fresh and that is the most satisfying feeling to come in from outside and smell that fragrance that says CLEAN! I used it on all the floors from the tile to the wood to the laminate. It really gets the dirt out of the grout and I didn't have to get on the floor to scrub at all! I just got a new rug so haven't tried it on that yet. But I am sure it will do wonderfully there too! I totally recommend this and a little goes a long way so the bottle will last you! The Hoover Renewal Multi Surface Cleaning Formula (a concentrate) Citrus Blossom 32 oz. was evaluated while using the new, soon-to-be marketed Hoover PowerDash Hard Floor Cleaner. The aroma of the concentrate is strong, but when diluted with 1 quart of warm water, the Citrus Blossom aroma has a mild to moderate, slightly sweet smell that should not be objectionable for most users. The required concentrate (3/4 fl. oz. or 22 ml) for the clean solution dispensing with the Hard Floor Cleaner effectively dissolved soil (that was not previously visible) on both the textured ceramic tile and hardwood floors that I have in my home. Any remaining cleaning solution left on the hard floor surfaces after using the Hard Floor Cleaner evaporated fairly rapidly and left no sticky residue. You should expect to get about 42 quarts of cleaning solution from the 32 fl. oz. bottle of the Hoover Renewal Multi Surface Cleaning Formula, which I do recommend.Tamaracian

I received this item for review purposes and immediately used it to clean my hardwood floors throughout my house. The Cleaning Formula has only a very light and pleasant smell that isn't very noticeable except when you're adding it to the tank. While cleaning, I could only faintly detect it. After cleaning there was no heavy odor. I like when I CAN'T smell a product because I dislike heavy perfumes/fragrances. Also the cleaning was amazing – before now we'd used spray and microfiber mop, but always had residue and a somewhat smudgy floor. I've tried many cleansers to mop my house full of tile. (Borox, castille soap, washing soda, dawn dish soap, etc.) They all have their pros & cons. For this cleanser, the pros: 1. Great fragrance. I don't detect it at all during/after use. Just smells clean. 2. You don't need much. 3. It really does clean well! I was surprised at how much dirt it got up when my floor didn't even seem dirty. 4. You can add it straight to the floor or add it to water first, or works both ways. 5. Very inexpensive. The only con: It makes the floor a bit sticky. Walking on it with house shoes made a sound. I have to go over it with a damp rag in order for it to be quiet again. So, I don't agree with not having to wash it off for that reason alone- yet I don't bother washing it off of the places I don't typically walk on through the day! Smells amazing! Stains do come out pretty well, and I like how easy it is to squirt and wipe. A little bit goes a long way, and it really does make removing stains a lot easier! I like the convenience of simply squirting a little on a surface and wiping, rather than having to dilute it in water.
